Jim Bakker Show - Russia is Preparing for Something - Dr. William Forstchen Aired: 2017-01-19 Duration: 03:12 === Putin's Game of Posturing (03:05) === [00:00:00] Why is Putin sending Russian warships to the English Channel? [00:00:08] It's a game as old. [00:00:09] Now, as we are talking, that's going on. [00:00:11] As we are talking right now, it's a game as old as history. [00:00:13] It's posturing. [00:00:15] It's vachismo. [00:00:17] It's look at me. [00:00:20] It's the type of thing that can trigger a war. [00:00:23] Because accidental war, particularly in the nuclear age, is a terrifying possibility of their ships are next to our ships or their plane moving at Mach 1.3 is intersecting where our plane is. [00:00:38] Somebody's computer jams up a wrong signal. [00:00:42] Somebody shoots. [00:00:43] You got a war. [00:00:45] He's playing a very dangerous game, whether his intent is real or just simply a little Putin with the shirt off, look at me. [00:00:53] And maybe it's a bit tied into our election as well with these rumors that the Russians are taking over our election. [00:01:02] There's games within games here that, Pastor, I really don't know what the answer is. [00:01:06] It's bizarre. [00:01:08] One last question. [00:01:10] We have the headlines. [00:01:13] Russia tells citizens nuclear war with the West could happen soon. [00:01:16] Russia is preparing for a nuclear war with the United States. [00:01:21] Russia holds massive war exercises involving 40 million people literally going into bunkers. [00:01:31] Putin sends Russia warships to English Channel. [00:01:34] Misreading all the England stuff. [00:01:38] Russian government officials told to immediately bring back children studying abroad. [00:01:54] That sounds serious. [00:01:56] It's very serious. [00:01:58] Why Russia? [00:02:00] Why now? [00:02:02] I think in part it's a failure of our foreign policy ever since 91, 92, when what was called the peace dividend. [00:02:12] Gorbachev, who I actually admire, had the strength to disassemble the Soviet Union without a nuclear war. [00:02:21] We had the opportunity at that point. [00:02:24] I was calling then with my friend who was a new speaker of the House for a Marshall Plan. [00:02:29] Let's learn to work with these people. [00:02:31] In fact, we actually have a common concern, and that's Islam, because it's right on their borders. [00:02:37] We've had a failed foreign policy with them for 25 years. [00:02:42] And maybe it's all coming home to roost. [00:02:46] I don't know how to interpret Putin's current moves. [00:02:50] I want to pray that it's posturing, but my fear is accidental start of war. === Wrong Move, Quick Escalation (00:21) === [00:02:57] Because ultimately on the front line, you've got 19, 20, 21-year-old kids who are the ones that are on the front line at that moment. [00:03:06] And if somebody makes a wrong move, it could quickly escalate out of control.
