[00:00:00]  Very few churches are standing up for what we're going through right now in this election.
[00:00:07]  I know one thing, General Boykin, you know, he's ordained under us, so I have to call him every week to be sure he's still a Christian because he has to spend so much time in Washington, D.C.
[00:00:17]  I know, you know, this is a serious issue, but I do call him a lot, and Jerry is still a Christian.
[00:00:23]  And he gives me the same answer I won't give you here, but I had to restrain one time.
[00:00:31]  He said he was going to deck the next person who came up to him and said, well, God's in control.
[00:00:37]  Oh, yeah, right.
[00:00:39]  Because he is so frustrated with, of course he is, or he could be, but he's given us things to do.
[00:00:46]  And most of the people that use that over and over use it in order to not do anything.
[00:00:52]  Right.
[00:00:53]  Not be engaged, not be, of course, God could be in control, but you know, he sent us the helper, not the doer.
[00:01:01]  He's not going to do our part.
[00:01:04]  He will help us.
[00:01:05]  He wants us to be the salt.
[00:01:07]  He wants us to be the light.
[00:01:09]  He wants us to stand for his truth, for righteousness, for justice, for all of these things.
[00:01:14]  He wants us to be engaged as we're called to be, and he will help us.
[00:01:21]  But now there are times when the Lord, those couple of times, it's actually less than 1% of the time, does he say, okay, sit out this one.
[00:01:30]  I'm going to do this.
[00:01:31]  I'll take care of this.
[00:01:33]  Jerry got trapped in that himself when the president of the United States attacked Jerry.
[00:01:41]  And Jerry just said, well, I'm going to let the Lord fight this one for me because he's thinking only the Lord outranks the president.
[00:01:50]  And his wife said, no, you're not.
[00:01:53]  She got, if you know Ashley, little Ashley, she got in his face and no, you're not.
[00:01:57]  You're going to fight this.
[00:01:58]  That is not just.
[00:02:00]  Everybody said, you've got to fight.
[00:02:01]  And he took his stand, and of course he won.
[00:02:05]  And yeah, I think we are warriors.
[00:02:09]  You know, they say in the Army, they're soldiers and then they're warriors.
[00:02:16]  Not all soldiers are warriors.
[00:02:18]  Matter of fact, very few are.
[00:02:20]  But now, a soldier can be great.
[00:02:23]  A soldier can be a hero and do great things.
[00:02:26]  But there's some that are born to fight.
[00:02:30]  You know, it's their nature.
[00:02:32]  They may hate it, but they were made for it.
[00:02:36]  You know what I'm saying?
[00:02:37]  It's just their nature.
[00:02:39]  And that's what I was told when I inquired way back in 2015 on what our next president needed to be.
[00:02:46]  He said, you need an alley fighter, someone who can fight in a lot of directions at once.
[00:02:52]  Wow.
[00:02:52]  And then he said, now, I only shared this with a few close friends because this can get out of hand, but he told me that the New England Patriots were going to win the Super Bowl that year.
[00:03:04]  Now, this was early in the football season.
[00:03:06]  He said, the Patriots are going to win, and it's going to be a sign to you that patriotism is going to win again.
[00:03:12]  Woo!
[00:03:12]  Yay!
[00:03:15]  And I thought I was a false prophet until the last play of the game.
[00:03:19]  You know, when they intercepted the pass, but they did win, and I've never forgotten that, but I've also never forgotten we need a fighter.
[00:03:27]  But I think we need that in the church, too.
[00:03:29]  We need the warriors to rise up.
[00:03:31]  All of God's people.
[00:03:34]  We're growing up into the king of kings.
[00:03:36]  And over and over in scripture, the Lord is called a warrior.
[00:03:42]  And we're growing up into his nature.
[00:03:45]  And, you know, it's a warrior that will get engaged when they could stay out of it.
[00:03:50]  A warrior runs to the sound of battle, not away from it.
[00:03:54]  You know, it's their nature.
[00:03:57]  And if we're growing up into his likeness, and look up all the times, it talks about him being a warrior and being called a warrior.
[00:04:05]  Lord of hosts.
[00:04:06]  Lord of armies, that's his title.
