Jim Bakker Show - The Jubilee Man - Rabbi Jonathan Cahn Aired: 2017-01-19 Duration: 02:31 === Year of Restoration (02:18) === [00:00:00] This is, I want to have some of all different kinds. [00:00:02] You know, there's mysteries of history and mysteries of prophecy. [00:00:05] It's called the Jubilee Man. [00:00:06] This is going to have something in here that I didn't, you're going to notice something because I first shared something here, but there's more to it. [00:00:10] Okay, here it goes the disciples writing. [00:00:13] He was holding a small shofar, the sign and the sound of the Jubilee, he said, the year of restoration. [00:00:19] What do you remember of it? [00:00:21] He answers. [00:00:21] It was the year in which the land would return to its original owners. [00:00:24] I said, so if your family had lost its ancestral land, they would return home. [00:00:28] Yes, said the teacher. [00:00:29] Now think about it. [00:00:30] 2,000 years ago, the Jewish people lost their homeland and their holy city, Israel and Jerusalem, their ancestral possessions. [00:00:38] But it was prophesied that they would return. [00:00:40] In other words, it would be a prophetic Jubilee, a restoration to their ancient possession. [00:00:45] So could the Jubilee hold the key to the mystery of that restoration? [00:00:49] He placed the shofar in my hands. [00:00:51] In 1917, in the midst of the First World War, the British Empire issued the Balfour Declaration to give the land of Israel back to the Jewish people. [00:00:59] So the land would be restored to its original owners. [00:01:02] But still missing was the restoration of the holy city, Jerusalem. [00:01:05] The Jubilee comes every 50 years. [00:01:07] If we count to the 50th year from that first restoration, it brings us to 1967. [00:01:13] It was in 1967 that the holy city Jerusalem was restored to the Jewish people, to its original owners, the Jubilee. [00:01:21] And in the same moment that Israel was restored to its ancient city, the sign of the Jubilee was manifested. [00:01:27] The rabbi who accompanied the soldiers to the Temple Mount sounded the shofar. [00:01:31] And do you know what the Temple Mount was when Israel first obtained it 3,000 years before? [00:01:36] It was a threshing floor. [00:01:38] In Hebrew, the word is Goren. [00:01:41] The man who sounded the shofar in the day of the restoration was named Rabbi Goren, which means threshing floor. [00:01:47] I didn't even know that when I was here last time. [00:01:50] And do you know when he was born? [00:01:51] In 1917, the year of the first restoration, the first Jubilee. [00:01:55] So he who sounded the shofar of Israel's Jubilee, the 50th year was himself 50 years old, the living sign of the Jubilee. [00:02:01] It all happened in the exact place at the exact time. === Power of Jubilee (00:27) === [00:02:04] You see, God is the God of restoration. [00:02:07] And to those who are his, he will restore all things. [00:02:11] All that was lost will be found again in their Jerusalem and in their appointed time of Jubilee. [00:02:19] And the mission here is, if you belong to Messiah, you have the power of Jubilee, the power to restore the lost and the broken. [00:02:27] Today, live, speak, and use that power.
