Jim Bakker Show - Frightening Technology - Lt. Col. Robert Maginnis Aired: 2017-01-19 Duration: 04:27 === Pandemic Threats (04:27) === [00:00:00] Can you explain a little bit more the black swans? [00:00:03] The black swans, epidemics, pandemics. [00:00:07] We've got a taste of it in the Ebola in Liberia and West Africa and how it was devastating to those people. [00:00:14] Well, just imagine if one came to this country. [00:00:17] You know, we think our CDC is so good and they'll detect things. [00:00:21] But as you mentioned pastor with the immigration issue, we aren't vetting people that come across the border. [00:00:27] They're bringing all sorts of diseases. [00:00:29] And there's a chance. [00:00:31] I don't know how big or how small, but there's a chance we could face a pandemic. [00:00:37] We could easily see something like the European Union fall, the Euro fall. [00:00:42] That would cause the collapse of a major world currency which would have ripple effects across all markets and all financial institutions. [00:00:51] We could easily see something like a solar flare that could destroy all the electronics in the world. [00:00:58] Much like an EMP, an EMP is a real possibility here. [00:01:02] You mentioned the satellite going over above the United States. [00:01:06] Given what Iran, given what the Russians, frankly, are doing, there are things that are happening today that I go in here that you'd read a little about, but I go into a lot more detail. [00:01:18] These are real threats. [00:01:20] This isn't 20, 30 years ago. [00:01:23] What happened in the 1950s under Dwight Eisenhower? [00:01:27] General Eisenhower says, you know, as the new president of the United States, we're facing 172 Russian divisions in Western Europe. [00:01:37] They're going to invade. [00:01:38] They're going to take over the world. [00:01:40] Well, he said, we don't want to afford this to be able to fight against that. [00:01:44] We can't match them man for man. [00:01:46] So he started a nuclear arsenal. [00:01:48] And it took the Russians 20 years to catch up. [00:01:51] And that's what we call the offset one strategy. [00:01:54] The offset two strategy, we tried to overcome their nuclear arsenal with technology, cruise missiles, precision-guided things, stealth fighters, and so forth. [00:02:05] Well, they have just now started to catch up on all that. [00:02:09] We are starting the third offset strategy now. [00:02:11] And that blows my mind because these are the very things I talk about in future war. [00:02:17] You know, the cyborg soldiers, certainly the cyber network. [00:02:24] What are you saying? [00:02:24] Cyborgs? [00:02:25] Yeah. [00:02:26] Part human, part machine. [00:02:29] Wow. [00:02:29] Is that coming? [00:02:30] Yes. [00:02:31] Is that real? [00:02:31] Yes. [00:02:32] Are they working on that technology now? [00:02:34] Yes. [00:02:35] Not just us, but the Chinese and the Russians. [00:02:38] And it's a capability that started back, you know, and then we, General Paul Gorman went to an organization, a secret organization that is called DARPA at the Pentagon, and he said, we need soldiers that can, you know, are no longer weaklings or fearful on the battlefield. [00:02:56] So you start to mess with their bodies and you start to mess with their brains. [00:03:00] And you can either do it robotically through artificial intelligence or you can do it using the human and adding features to them. [00:03:08] An exoskeleton, you can have a climatic system. [00:03:13] You can give them automatic weapons that you think about and then they fire. [00:03:17] We are working on all sorts of technologies. [00:03:19] It's not just us, like I said. [00:03:21] And the difference between us and them, it was brought up by the vice chairman of the Joint Chiefs just a week ago. [00:03:27] And he said, you know, I am concerned about the use of artificial intelligence because I want a human in the decision loop on whether or not they're going to kill somebody or something. [00:03:37] And the Chinese and the Russians won't do that. [00:03:40] We want to do that, but we're all working on the same technologies. [00:03:45] So that technology is very real, and it is growing. [00:03:49] And I, you know, back, it looks like about a year and a half, we're going to come up with something called TALOS, which is the first generation of the cyborg, which we are already working with the Special Operations Command. [00:04:04] They're going to have some soldiers that will wear this outfit that will give them capabilities to lift larger weights and to run much faster. [00:04:12] And that's just the beginning because we're going to eventually have a ballistic capable, you know, taking a 50-caliber round in the chest and surviving. [00:04:21] It will let off all sorts of things into the bloodstream in case you're wounded to stop the hemorrhaging.
