Jim Bakker Show - Prophecies Are Unfolding in the Middle East Aired: 2015-07-16 Duration: 03:10 === Nile's Drying Up Crisis (02:23) === [00:00:00] So Isaiah 19 is a prophecy which has several components. [00:00:04] It's an oracle of Isaiah against Egypt. [00:00:07] It begins with a civil war. [00:00:09] Egypt is in the middle of a civil war. [00:00:11] It's beginning right now. [00:00:12] It talks about the Nile drying up. [00:00:14] These things are beginning right now. [00:00:15] I could lay out all the details of what's leading to that. [00:00:20] I keep hearing about that, about the Nile. [00:00:22] Well, you've had, of course... [00:00:24] Is that really going to happen? [00:00:25] You've got the Aswan Dam back in the 70s, which depleted the Nile by about 20%. [00:00:30] It's caused the greatest ecological failure of modern history. [00:00:34] Ethiopia now is building a second dam called the Grand Ethiopian Renaissance Dam. [00:00:39] Saudi Arabia is running out of water. [00:00:41] They're buying up all of this land down in Ethiopia, all the marshlands, which is the basin of the Nile. [00:00:46] Ethiopia runs out of water. [00:00:48] That's a desert. [00:00:49] They need a lot of water. [00:00:50] They pump it out of the ground. [00:00:52] They have a massive fossil reservoir of water. [00:00:54] They're pumping out of the ground, rapidly running out. [00:00:57] They're not just running out of oil, they're running out of water. [00:00:59] Then they just hose down the desert and it's gone. [00:01:03] Egypt is the largest, most populous Arab nation in the world, about 83 million people. [00:01:08] And when that river is depleted, it's a human catastrophe. [00:01:12] Okay? [00:01:12] So it speaks of that. [00:01:13] It's not quite yet, but we can see everything lining up to where just in the next decade, this is going to become a critical issue, the Nile River. [00:01:21] No, it says that right here in chapter 19. [00:01:25] Yeah, it takes up a big part of the chapter. [00:01:27] The river Nile will dry up. [00:01:30] Period. [00:01:30] That's what it says right there. [00:01:32] And it desolates the economy. [00:01:34] And it goes on. [00:01:35] It talks about being invaded by a cruel master. [00:01:38] This is the conflict between the king of the north and the king of the south that's spoken of in Daniel 11. [00:01:44] Of course, two years ago, Egypt was great friends with, whether it was Turkey or Syria or Iraq, they were great friends with them all. [00:01:50] Now, President Erdogan in Turkey is openly calling President Sisi a dictator. [00:01:55] Sisi's calling Erdogan a dictator. [00:01:57] There is an incredible tension that has arisen now. [00:02:00] That's not going away anytime soon. [00:02:02] So it's speaking of the eventual invasion of Egypt. [00:02:06] You can see all of these things lining up. === Cry Rising Up Out Of Egypt (01:01) === [00:02:08] You can see the landscape taking shape. [00:02:10] We're not quite there yet. [00:02:12] But then when it gets to the most important part, and this is the glorious part, not all biblical prophecy is bad, is it speaks of a prayer movement in Egypt, a cry rising up out of Egypt. [00:02:23] Egypt today has one of the most amazing prayer movements of any church in the world. [00:02:29] In 2013, I went and I visited. [00:02:32] In 2011, they had a prayer meeting. [00:02:34] They had roughly 60,000 people gathered all night long. [00:02:38] And this is in a nation where the Christians are only 10%. [00:02:40] My goodness. [00:02:41] They're way less than us. [00:02:42] And they had a 60,000 people prayer meeting, worshiped and prayed from 6 at night to 6 in the morning. [00:02:48] You've got video footage of it in the DVD. [00:02:51] And we went, we went to an all-night prayer meeting when we were there, and the church of Egypt is crying out, and they're having revival. [00:02:57] They're beginning to experience a revival. [00:03:00] And when you go on, Isaiah 19 actually describes a great revival throughout the entire Middle East. [00:03:06] So listen, what's happening in the Middle East? [00:03:08] Satan has a plan.
