Revelation's Coming Thief

| I do know this. | |
| God 200 times says, I'm sending some signs. | |
| We haven't been looking for the signs. | |
| You gave us Revelation, Mark, and it said, I'm coming for those who are looking, those who are watching. | |
| Is that right? | |
| That's totally correct. | |
| And one of the amazing things to kind of bring this full circle, Dave Wilkerson was my next door neighbor. | |
| What? | |
| I lived in Tyler, Texas. | |
| I was with a group called the Agape Force, and I would play ping pong with David Wilkerson, and he was one of my mentors. | |
| Oh, my God. | |
| In 1975. | |
| In 1975, 76. | |
| It's getting a little more. | |
| Whoa. | |
| And it's also amazing. | |
| You just keep blowing us away, Mark. | |
| Going back to the verse you said, the problem is, he says, concerning the times and the seasons, you are not ignorant. | |
| For that day will not overtake you as a thief in the night. | |
| Can you get that? | |
| Listen, if you want to show your ignorance, you keep telling people that he's coming as a thief in the night. | |
| If you're saying that, it means you're not born again. | |
| You're not saved. | |
| He's not coming for believers as a thief in the night. | |
| Read the whole chapter. | |
| The Bible says they will believe a lie in the last days. | |
| That's where we are. | |
| That's where the church is preaching money, money, money, money. | |
| It's a lie. | |
| The love of money is the root of all evil. | |
| Why do you change the word of God? | |
| People, this is going to catch us unaware. | |
| What does it say in Revelation? | |

| Somebody find it. | |
| In Revelation 3.1, it talks about the church of Sardis. | |
| And it's saying, wake up. | |
| It's saying, you are a dead church. | |
| If you don't wake up, I'm going to catch you unaware. | |
| He's coming unaware. | |
| He's coming as a surprise for the dead church. | |
| Or the sleeping church in Laodicea. | |
| Laodicea. | |
| Can I add something? | |
| A thought that came to me when all of this was coming to my heart was that right now the church is asleep by and far. | |
| And there's a verse that says, in such an hour as you think not, what hit me was, at such a time as you think it couldn't happen, it's going to happen. | |
| And this is that time. | |
| Well, let me add one more thing. | |
| Yes. | |
| That's why you're here. | |
| Concerning the times and the seasons, the feast days were appointed times. | |
| It was at Passover that Sodom and Gomorrah was destroyed in the spring. | |
| The Bible teaches the kings to write the word, to make it clear, and read it, and read it. | |
| Do you know how many churches in America have banned the book of Revelation? | |
| You say, oh no. | |
| Where's my stairs? | |
| So help me. | |
| You say, oh, we don't ban it. | |
| No, you just don't allow it to be preached. | |
| When I got out of prison, I went to church after church, and the pastor said to me, Jim, you can preach whatever you want. | |
| I could preach prosperity that you love money. | |
| I could preach anything. | |
| But they said, please don't preach revelation. | |
| It scares our people. | |
| And we don't want to scare our people. | |
| It's hard to get money unless we have happy church. | |
| So what do we have today? | |
| We're not teaching revelation, and the people aren't going to be ready. | |
| And these things are going to come on us unaware. | |
| And God spoke to me. | |
| He said, people are going to shake their fists in the hands of the preachers. | |
| And they're going to curse them and say, you didn't teach us truth. | |
| Why did you lie to us? | |
| You told us it was going to get better and better until we're raptured out in glory. | |
| It's okay. | |
| Glory and glory and glory and glory. | |
| But you can't live in that. | |
| You've got to live in the word of the living God. | |
| I bet you've never heard this verse. | |
| Obey. | |
| Change your hearts and lives. | |
| That's what he's saying to America. | |
| This is Revelation chapter 3. | |
| So you must wake up. | |
| Wake up. | |
| Or I will come like a thief. | |
| And you will not know when I come to you. | |
| What? | |
| He's saying you can know when he's coming. | |
| Yes. | |
| Yes. | |
| You can know. | |
| It's in his word. | |
| He's giving you. | |
| I mean, if you were a detective, my God, you would know. | |
| All the clues are right here called the Bible. | |
| So you must wake up or you will, or I, who's speaking? | |
| Jesus. | |
| This is the word. | |
| This is the revelation of Jesus. | |
| Not the revelation of John. | |
| It's the revelation to John. | |
| Jesus is saying, so you must wake up or I will come like a thief and you will not know when I will come to you. | |
| What does that mean? | |
| That you can know. | |
| Wake up. | |
