Newsom’s Wife Just Torched His 2028 Chances… Here’s Why”

Hodgetwins hosts clash over Gavin Newsom's wife, debating her parenting tactics like swapping book protagonists and a trip to Alabama. One speaker aggressively refutes gender role fluidity, citing biological determinism and the film 300, while accusing the other of Southern-centric racism. The argument escalates with homophobic remarks regarding same-sex couples and claims that "males are evil," culminating in the assertion that progressive women cause national dysfunction. Ultimately, this heated exchange highlights deep cultural fractures over gender roles, race, and family values within California politics. [Automatically generated summary]

Gender Roles Are Anomalies 00:09:36
So, this is Gavin Newsom's wife.
And there's a lot of videos coming out, and this woman is nuts.
I don't know if she's campaigning for Gavin Newsom or she's trying to destroy his campaign.
Check this out.
I've given our boys dolls, even if they tear the head off.
I've given them dolls to learn that care and caregiving is not just an activity that's reserved for women, but that it's also an activity that is a responsibility of men.
What I've done with both my daughters and my sons is if I'm reading a book and the protagonist is a male, I just change the he to a she.
And it just normalizes for my sons in particular.
I don't even just do it for my girls.
I do it for my sons because I want them to see that women can be the center of a story, that women matter, that women are interesting.
At the end of the day, we're all kind of like in this place in history, maybe, where we're recognizing.
What it is to ultimately deconstruct all these gender roles and ultimately be human.
And that's exciting to me.
So, you know, I'll just continue to kind of do my work and try and deconstruct all of these like limiting narratives about ultimately what it means to be human.
You took your fork.
Man, you're crazy as hell.
You just can't remove and put whatever your gender role you want implicated in that story or that movie.
Like, take the movie 300, replace all of them with women.
Does it make sense?
Nope.
Gender roles is not something that's been constructed socially here in like the last 10, 50, 100 years.
Right.
Since the beginning of time, there's differences between men and women.
Yeah.
And based on those differences between men and women, that's how these roles have been established.
Right.
And you're trying to change them because you're so smart.
Now I know why Gavin Newsom sat down with his legs crossed like this.
I tell you what, if y'all were to be equal, Let's stop recruiting all these men in the military.
Numbered women going there.
It's majority male.
What you're saying, y'all want to flip that, make it majority female.
Because I'm all for it.
Put a bunch of females on the front line.
Because gender roles is what?
A social construct.
That's what she's saying.
Yeah.
Yep, woman is nuts.
It gets worse.
Check this out.
Ultimately, what it means to be human.
You took your four kids.
Okay, let me preface this first.
Gavin Newsom and her took her kids to red states down in the South so they could learn about racism.
What?
In the South, that is probably the nicest people you ever want to come in contact with.
People in the South are the nicest people on earth.
Yeah, like there's no racism in California or up in New York.
You know how many times I've been called in California?
And it's by Mexicans.
Or Latinos, whatever they may be, they're Hispanics.
You want to see some rude people?
Go to New York City.
Yeah, why don't you just, you should have just taken them to California or New York City.
Check out this.
Check this out.
You took your four kids on this trip.
You're here in Alabama now.
Why was it important to you to take them on this trip to red states and learn about the history in our country?
That's a great question.
Well, I don't think, or I know for a fact that we don't get all of this history.
in our schools.
And it's part of enlivening them, building their curiosity, expanding their hearts, their empathy, so that they themselves can be the change they wish to see in the world and recognize that we have work to do and that we have healing to do.
And so that they can use their voices to stand up and speak out when they see pain and suffering and bullying and racism and misogyny around them.
And you want them to see it so that they know.
I do.
I'm the truth seeker.
They need to know the truth.
There's so much to learn.
That is crazy.
Only racism is in the South.
Only bad things come from men.
Women can't be toxic.
Yeah, women, there should be no general.
Males are evil.
That's pretty much what she's saying when she's switching them to females.
Yeah.
Yeah, evil comes in all genders, even females.
Racism is found in all states.
Right.
That shows me you have no idea what the South is like.
I grew up in the South.
Yeah, nicest people.
A little racist, but they're nice as hell.
I mean, I ran into racist people, but I ran into racist people all over the United States.
But to label the South as being racist and rude is just not true.
Yeah, just her response to that question was like a word salad.
Yeah.
She's got a little Michelle Obama going.
She got some Kamala going.
She's a little woke.
Kevin Kamala.
Michelle Obama, all these women on the left, they all sound the same.
They all think the same.
They sound nuts.
Yeah.
Look, it gets worse.
She's talking about same sex couples, and we can learn from them.
How can we learn anything from a same sex couple?
We're the foundation of everything.
So we're going to learn from a same sex couple?
They come from us.
What?
Check out, man.
Give her a chat.
Give her a chat.
She looks nice.
She's very attractive, though.
Yeah, she is.
They need to know the truth.
There's so much to learn from same-sex couples who have learned to communicate and who also are like, well, look, you know, someone's got to do the care work in a same-sex male couple.
Someone's got to do that, so I'm just going to do it.
And this is like, and not be afraid or ashamed because it's part of being human.
We're all on a spectrum, right?
It's just how society kind of pushes us and pressures us into these limiting gender roles.
But again, the folks on the far right.
Hold up.
So, women want to be firefighters and cops.
I don't get it.
Women want to be nurses.
They want to be flight attendants.
They want to be teachers.
They want to be doctors.
They want to be secretaries.
They want to be CEOs when they get paid all the money.
I get that.
But we have gender roles for a reason.
Yeah, because if that role is like carries, you need to carry some physicality to it, men are going to dominate that role.
Yeah.
And rightfully so.
Yeah.
Men are stronger than women.
And those roles are going to resonate with men because of the physicality.
Yeah.
Sounds like to me, you want to put women in the ring with like professional male boxers.
Like Mike Tyson versus a female.
We the same.
No, we're not physically.
Yeah.
We're not.
Yeah.
Mentally, yeah.
But physically, no.
I don't even think mentally.
Yeah.
I was just being nice.
She's definitely crazy.
Women are, I mean, we have men that are crazy, then we have women that are crazy.
Women that are crazy, they're 10 times as crazy as men that are crazy.
I wouldn't call her crazy.
See, this is what happens when you use your heart to think instead of like you.
You got too much empathy.
Yeah.
It's okay to have empathy.
Yeah.
You know, some of the greatest thinkers are empathetic thinkers, but y'all are over sympathetic, empathetic towards people.
You're not thinking, you're using your heart right now.
Yeah, yeah.
I take that back.
You ain't crazy.
You're just a woman.
Yeah.
And the, the, the folks on the far right, they're, they're missing is, um, just this, they're, they're living in this silo, this evangelical conservative silo that ultimately, um, is, it's, it's just pulling us back as a country to a time and a place where, uh, we don't deserve to be and we're not going to be because honestly, young women and fathers of daughters are awake now and they're woke and they're not going to let us go back.
And so I have so much hope because of that.
And obviously California has a huge responsibility.
What are you talking about?
We're going to take away women.
She sounds like we're going to take away women's rights.
We need to.
Most definitely.
I'm just joking.
No, no, seriously, we need to take away their rights.
They shouldn't be voting.
Everything that's wrong with this country is because of women.
No, it's because of progressive women.
Yeah, oversympathetic women.
Conservative women are just fine.
Yeah, yeah, they're just fine, but it's like three to one.
You know, it's not that bad.
Oh, I think so.
I think the majority of women, the majority, overwhelmingly, a majority of the women are progressive.
They lean on it.
Oh, yeah, of course.
Yeah.
Conservative women, y'all are an anomaly.
Yeah, just like black Republicans are anomalies.
Yeah.
Ain't that crazy to say something like that?
To be sane is an anomaly.
Ain't that crazy?
It's an aberration to be sane in this country.
Yeah, I don't, I don't, this lady.
The problem with the people on the left is they try to, they try to, what's the word I'm looking for?
I already said it earlier.
They think with their heart.
Well, they're trying to reinvent the wheel.
The wheel is just fine.
Thinking With Your Heart 00:00:34
When you said we can learn something from gay couples, it's nothing I can learn from a gay couple.
You can learn about anal, buy a strap on, maybe, yeah.
But I ain't trying to get into that.
I mean, we are the foundation.
Without straight people, there's no LGBTQ.
We shouldn't be learning from you.
I mean, I have nothing to learn from you.
Absolutely nothing.
Well, you can learn how to take your AIDS medication from them.
That's a horrible joke, and I'm gonna end the video on that horrible joke
