Hodgetwins - Wow! Victim from Cincinnati Jazz Festival Attack Tells Foxnews what happened that night! Aired: 2025-08-10 Duration: 12:14 === Attempted Murder and Racist Comments (11:25) === [00:00:04] Tricia Mackey is the Fox 19 reporter there and Devon strutted into court today for her first appearance and it almost looked as if she was trying to hide a smile. [00:00:15] She's 26 years old. [00:00:16] She's a Cincinnati native. [00:00:18] She has a six-year-old daughter that resides with her and relies on her for care. [00:00:22] That's what the court just said. [00:00:24] She says that she has a severe concussion and bruising all over her body and sometimes her pain level remains at nine. [00:00:32] Holly joins me tonight in a TV exclusive from an undisclosed location. [00:00:37] Holly, first of all, thank you so much for coming in to tell your story tonight. [00:00:42] Now, what started out for you, I understand, as a night celebrating your friend's birthday turned into this horrific beatdown. [00:00:51] I want to show everyone a picture of you from that night. [00:00:53] This was taken after you finally got away from your attackers. [00:00:58] I had not seen that picture until just now. [00:01:01] So my first question, Holly, is, how are you doing tonight? [00:01:07] You know what, Laura? [00:01:08] I am feeling hopeful. [00:01:11] So, you know, even though I'm in excruciating pain, I'm feeling hopeful for the future because I think some good is going to come out of this. [00:01:21] I think a lot of people have outpoured their cries and their need for help and justice system that has been failing them and running rampant through the country. [00:01:33] So I think now, you know, we're going to start getting some answers, not just for me, but for everyone else who also has been in a situation like this or a loved one. [00:01:47] And yeah, I think that we're going to be coming together as a nation and we're going to rise up together and get some answers from the justice system of, you know, why in every city a lot of crime has just been running rampant like this. [00:02:04] Holly, take us back to that night. [00:02:06] You know, what time it was. [00:02:08] You were out and you're enjoying yourself and what happened when you went outside to leave where you were. [00:02:13] Just give us some background on that. [00:02:18] So we were just leaving, waiting for our Uber. [00:02:21] You know, when we were leaving the club, nothing inside, there was no hate or anything bad that had happened. [00:02:27] So when we came outside, you know, it was pretty shocking when we were being surrounded and, you know, the people that I was with at the birthday party were being attacked. [00:02:40] And, you know, somebody being beat to an inch of their life in front of me. [00:02:46] I felt the need to step in and try and help. [00:02:50] Was there anything said? [00:02:51] There was no words exchanged between you, your friends, and the individuals, many of them, well, some of them already charged. [00:03:00] No words exchanged? [00:03:02] Not really. [00:03:03] No, I mean, when we came outside, there were some racist comments. [00:03:08] I guess some of the people that we were with were from the country of Russia. [00:03:12] And there were a bunch of Russian comments and some people saying that they wanted to beat up the Russians. [00:03:21] So I don't even know how they knew where they were from. [00:03:24] And then there were some comments about, you know, white people shouldn't be out here or we're going to go night night, you white bleepwords. [00:03:36] And so. [00:03:37] Yeah, got a new show for you. [00:03:39] Got a damn good show. [00:03:40] Before we finish this show, don't forget about our new giveaway, 4250 King Ranching Camp. [00:03:44] If you didn't win, just buy some on my site and you get automatic and it wins. [00:03:48] They pushing a nerve that they started calling other people the N-word and that's how everything which is stupid. [00:03:55] Yeah. [00:03:55] The N-word doesn't give you a license to like do what they did. [00:03:59] But you know what, that picture that they showed that nobody's seen before? [00:04:04] If the rules were reversed and she was a black woman, and there's a bunch of white people that did this, this whole country will be burning down right now with riots and protests. [00:04:14] Yeah. [00:04:15] Yeah. [00:04:16] And you know what? [00:04:17] The people that just arrested the last person that was involved. [00:04:21] It was several women involved. [00:04:23] Yeah, the women were more violent than the guys. [00:04:25] Yeah, I've been saying that. [00:04:26] In my culture, black culture, man, women are, I think, more violent than our men. [00:04:31] And they behave like men. [00:04:33] Look at the difference in between the two cultures of black and white. [00:04:36] That white man was getting beat down. [00:04:38] She tried to step in and offer him some aid. [00:04:40] Yeah, she wasn't trying to fight. [00:04:42] She wasn't trying to fight. [00:04:43] The black women were fighting like men. [00:04:45] And then they attacked her. [00:04:46] And then the black man attacked her. [00:04:51] You know, definitely it was a little scary. [00:04:54] And then when they started circling, yeah, there were, it was just an attack that should have never happened. [00:05:01] And there were a lot of people in the attack. [00:05:03] Now that some of the people have been arrested, they have rap sheets that go on for days. [00:05:09] And especially the man who punched me in the face, he had just got out of jail a few months before and had felonies on him. [00:05:21] And I just, I don't understand why he was running the streets. [00:05:25] And a lot of other people should have never even been out of jail to even do this to me or the others. [00:05:32] Now, what was happening in that moment that you decided as a woman to jump into this situation? [00:05:41] Well, everyone was standing around recording and egging it on and, you know, like cheering to them. [00:05:49] And I kept waiting for the police to show up and waiting and terrified, you know. [00:05:57] And when I realized the police weren't going to come, one of the, I could hear someone, the man that I jumped in front of, literally crying to God, please, God, somebody save me. [00:06:08] Somebody help me. [00:06:10] It was the third time he had been knocked down and kicked in his face over and over. [00:06:16] Somebody had told me 57 times. [00:06:18] They had counted through all the videos. [00:06:21] And I knew that if I didn't jump in, if he had fallen down one more time, he would not have made it out alive. [00:06:27] Did you know him? [00:06:29] Sorry to interrupt. [00:06:29] Did you know him? [00:06:30] No, I had no, I had just met him that night, just a few hours before he came to the birthday party. [00:06:37] And that's how I met him. [00:06:40] Wow. [00:06:40] So you decided to jump in. [00:06:42] Someone you just had met. [00:06:43] I mean, most people, frankly. [00:06:45] Well, she didn't jump in. [00:06:46] She was just trying to render aid. [00:06:47] Trying to calm him down. [00:06:48] Yeah. [00:06:50] But it takes a lot of courage to do that. [00:06:52] And over how long have we... [00:06:53] Especially in front of a pack of wild animals. [00:06:55] Yeah. [00:06:56] That's what they are. [00:06:58] These people, two of these guys, I think three of them, multiple felonies, violent felonies. [00:07:04] They shouldn't even, they should be incarcerated right now. [00:07:07] They should be doing life before this prior incident. [00:07:09] They had violent felonies on their record. [00:07:12] They need to bring back three strikes you're out. [00:07:15] Yeah. [00:07:15] I'm all for that. [00:07:17] What period of time did this transpire? [00:07:19] Was this seconds, minutes? [00:07:23] No, I want to say at least a solid 15, 20 minutes. [00:07:27] This was going on. [00:07:28] I mean, the videos that you see are little short blurps. [00:07:32] But this was going on for so long. [00:07:35] It was ridiculous. [00:07:37] And it was like one crowd would come in and start beating on them. [00:07:41] And then another crowd would come in and take their turn. [00:07:45] Like the chief police, what's she saying? [00:07:47] We got patrol cars down there. [00:07:49] We got. [00:07:52] She's obviously a DEI hire. [00:07:54] Yeah. [00:07:54] And she doesn't know how to run a police department. [00:07:56] And I've said this plenty of times. [00:07:57] They got cops, a couple cops in patrol cars, with that many people on the street. [00:08:02] You should have had a lot of police officers walking the beat, walking the streets, showing more of a presence. [00:08:09] Why would they do that when they letting convicted criminals out on the street with a slap on the road? [00:08:15] It wasn't going to stop. [00:08:16] It's not like one crowd came in and had their fun kicking them. [00:08:20] Then there would be more that would come join in. [00:08:23] And so I just. [00:08:26] Yeah, I just, I'm disgusted at the people who were recording and they didn't call 911. [00:08:32] The one person who did call 911 was a victim, one of the guys who had got curb stomped, and then he was able to sneak away and call 911. [00:08:42] And I just, that baffles me. [00:08:44] And I think that it should be illegal for people to sit there and record violent crimes without at least being, you know, a good Samaritan act or something of calling and then, you know, go and record. [00:09:00] How do I want to play a message from the police chief to her department about what happened that night? [00:09:08] Watch this. [00:09:09] You made this weekend, outside of this one incident, an amazing success for this city. [00:09:16] It is because of your hard work that we are able to have such large-scale events here in Cincinnati. [00:09:25] What a buffoon. [00:09:27] So that was a success, a group of people getting jumped? [00:09:31] That was a success. [00:09:33] Why would you hold a press conference, Kevin, with a picture of you in the background? [00:09:37] And then claiming that weekend was a success for your city. [00:09:41] Total moron. [00:09:43] Peppermint patty here. [00:09:46] She called this an incident. [00:09:49] And there were a lot of activities going on, big events in Cincinnati and the surrounding area that weekend for sure. [00:09:55] But did it feel like an incident to you and the other victims? [00:10:02] It definitely didn't seem like an incident. [00:10:04] It seemed like a beatdown attack. [00:10:09] I look at it as attempted murder. [00:10:11] I mean, there's no other way to describe it. [00:10:14] So I think an incident is insulting, to be honest. [00:10:19] And I have yet to receive a phone call from her or the mayor just apologizing for what happened and for letting these thugs and criminals run the streets when they should have been in jail to begin with. [00:10:33] Don't hold your breath. [00:10:35] Yeah. [00:10:37] Man, these Democrats, these woke, woke liberal white Democrats are like, yeah. [00:10:43] Disgusting. [00:10:43] Man, could you imagine if this lady was a black lady? [00:10:48] Yeah, I know. [00:10:49] There's a bunch of white guys. [00:10:50] What would this country look like right now? [00:10:52] Be George Floyd all over again. [00:10:55] It'd be rots everywhere. [00:10:59] It would be rot. [00:11:00] It would be mayhem. [00:11:01] This happened because of the inept, incompetent leadership of Cincinnati. [00:11:09] Yeah. [00:11:09] And why are they incompetent? [00:11:10] They're woke. [00:11:11] Yeah. [00:11:12] And why we call them woke? [00:11:13] Because these people that attacked this woman and that man should have been locked up. [00:11:17] This should have never happened. [00:11:19] If that city, if the government officials, they're elected and appointed for their positions, if they would have did their job, these people wouldn't have the opportunity to attack that couple. [00:11:29] But they didn't. === Critical Race Theory and Woke Leadership (00:44) === [00:11:30] Yeah, they got DEI for criminals. [00:11:33] If you're black, oh man, you know what? [00:11:37] That's horrible what you did, but I'm going to let you out. [00:11:39] I'm going to give you a chance. [00:11:41] Because of all the historic and systemic racism in this country. [00:11:46] Yeah. [00:11:47] Yeah. [00:11:48] What they call it? [00:11:49] Critical race theory? [00:11:50] We see it. [00:11:51] That is exactly what's going in Cincinnati. [00:11:54] Critical race theory. [00:11:55] You got a woke white police chief. [00:11:58] Then you got all these crazy black maniac criminals on the street. [00:12:02] That's critical race theory. [00:12:04] Yeah, don't forget that sheriff. [00:12:06] That female sheriff. [00:12:08] Oh, how about that pastor? [00:12:12] Woke city. [00:12:13] Wicked people.
