Journalist DROPS More BAD NEWS on Karmelo Anthony After Watching STABBING Video!

Journalist Rich McHugh reports on Carmelo Anthony's indictment for first-degree murder following the stabbing death of 17-year-old Austin Metcalf at a track meet. While Anthony claims self-defense, video evidence showing no prior altercation leads hosts to question his sanity and condemn his family for raising $500,000 yet failing to secure a public defender. The segment concludes by suggesting the legal outcome will likely involve serious charges, exposing a situation defined by deception and moral failure rather than genuine tragedy. Deadly Track Meet Stabbing 00:08:00
Texas grand jury indicted 17-year-old Carmelo Anthony just last week for a deadly altercation that happened at a Texas track meet in April.
And now News Nation has viewed a critical piece of video evidence.
17 year old Austin Metcalf was killed.
Anthony admits he stabbed Metcalf while both took cover under a team tent during a rain.
I hate to stop the video.
This kid looks like a dumbass.
Yeah.
But Anthony says he was acting in self-defense.
News Nation's Rich McHugh has been tracking this case.
And Rich, you are one of the reporters who got to view this important piece of evidence.
Yeah, Nicole, they allowed me to view this video under strict conditions.
I couldn't record anything.
I couldn't take pictures.
I can take notes, but that's about it.
They would play it one time and they wouldn't even rewind it or play it again, even the moment in question.
So what I saw in the video was ultimately, it's from the press box across the field on the 45-yard line.
You can view a yellow tent across the field.
That's where this incident happened.
There's no sound on the video.
It's raining.
And you can see about 30 to 40 people around the different, the field.
It's a track meet that morning, so they're preparing for this track meet.
The incident in question happens at 9.44 a.m.
It's really calm up until that point.
And then chaos ensues.
And you can't really make up anybody.
You can't make out individuals.
You can see people and colors and what they're wearing, but you can't make out identities.
But again.
That testimony was quick and over with.
So I think the whole commotion was because of the actual stabbing.
There wasn't like fighting.
And then he was in self-defense mode and he stabbed him.
No, the whole commotion was just him stabbing him.
Right, right.
And you can totally tell that by his mugshot.
Doesn't have a scratch on him.
Yeah, got me show for y'all.
But before we get today's video, don't forget we got a new giveaway.
Cummins Turbo Diesel Ram and $10,000 in cold hard cash.
But in case you missed it, we've got another giveaway.
It's a F-250 King Ranch in Camper.
It's our biggest giveaway.
Shut up.
This is our biggest giveaway.
Tell him.
Tell him if you shut up.
That's over a quarter million dollars in giveaway.
That's a whole lot of white privilege.
That's a quarter million dollars of white privilege.

Now, this journalist, we've done seen other journalists like give their account of the video, but this guy, he sounds sharp.
He explains everything in detail.
He sounds critical.
Yeah.
Again, at 9.44, chaos ensues.
What I did not see was any obvious physical altercation leading up to the stabbing.
Now, I went inside.
It's self-defense.
I mean, we all knew it wasn't.
It's not self-defense.
Yeah, it's no.
They was getting jumped, beating the crap out of him.
They were on the top of them.
Beating them up like that.
Yeah.
And he's running away and they keep grabbing him.
Yeah.
Yeah.
No, that dude just stabbed that kid.
Yeah.
He was the entire commotion.
Inside the stadium earlier this morning to try and give our viewers a better vantage point of where this all happened.
Take a look.
Across the field, you can see where the cameras, the press box cameras captured everything.
We're on the 45-yard line here.
This is where it ultimately happened.
There's a tent right up here.
The kind of the sports tent where everybody was huddled at 9.44.
Whatever went down happened right here.
Everybody kind of took off.
Now, according to police reports, Austin Metcalf and Carmelo Anthony were here at this track meet.
Austin Metcalf told Anthony he needed to move out from under their team's tent when Anthony grabbed his bag, reached inside, and told Austin, quote, touch me and see what happens.
Yeah, I was protecting myself.
He put his hands on me.
I told him not to.
No, that's not what happened.
No.
You said, put your hands on me and find out what happens.
Yeah.
He's got a small brain.
He can't help it, Kay.
That's what he thinks he said.
I've seen his parents.
His parents say, the apple doesn't fall too far away from the tree.
His parents are idiots.
You totally bushed that.
You joined the hell out of that.
No, the apple doesn't fall too far from the tree.
That's what I'm saying.
You threw in like three extra words.
I said, the apple doesn't fall too far from the tree.
No, you threw an extra word there.
I could tell this dude's a dust because of how far his eyes are apart.
The police report states Metcalf grabbed Anthony to tell him to move.
Anthony pulled out a knife, stabbed Metcalf once in the chest, and ran.
Metcalf died in his twin brother's arms.
That's crazy.
They just want you to leave.
So before you leave, you stab him and then you take off running.
If you had a real right, he said someone told him he could sit there because it's raining.
You should have gone to that person who gave you authority to sit there.
You shouldn't say, put your hands on me and see what happens.
Yeah, but I think that's all propaganda.
It's probably BS.
It's all BS.
Yeah.
Now, as of last week, Carmelo Anthony indicted for first-degree murder.
Nicole, I think they should get him for indictment for first and second degree.
Well, that will be available to the jurors because if you get that first-degree murder, that's it.
Well, they can, they're probably going to try him on first, second, and manslaughter.
And then the jury will pick which one they think is reasonable.
Well, an indictment is only first degree.
Well, probably because they got a real strong case.
Yeah.
He's probably witnessed that touch me and see what happens.
That proves premeditation.
And you had to crack me with a knife.
So that's why you said what you said.
So, yeah.
I mean, think about it.
At that age, some kid tells me, touch me and see what happens.
I'm going to touch him.
You're going to touch him.
Yeah.
If I get in a verbal occasion at that age, we had a lot of test touch on.
We didn't take no crap from anybody.
If some kid says, put your hands on me and see what happens, I'll put my hands all over that dude.
Well, because you, yeah, yeah.
Because he's challenging you.
Yeah.
When you challenge a male in school, that challenge is going to get answered every time.
Right.
Yeah.
So, Rich, how might this affect court?
Well, it's a good question.
Court date has not yet been set.
His first appearance is set, I believe, for July 17th.
This video, from what I saw, the question I have is, will they be able to enhance it and to view it, to zoom in?
Because what I saw was happening very quickly, and there was no obvious altercation just before.
So it could be a case where both sides will see what they want to see.
But the question remains, how much can they kind of alter or zoom in on this video, Nicole?
All right.
Yeah, he made that point again.
The entire incident was the stabbing.
It was nothing before that incident.
Maybe there was words exchanged.
But self-defense, you got to be getting pummeled in order for you to use that knife in that particular thing.
At that age, if I'm getting my butt whipped, I'm getting pummeled.
I'm trying to flee.
And then finally, I pull a knife.
I'm not going to flee the scene because I'm going to be like, it was self-defense.
My conscience is telling me that was self-defense.
He's got a conscience.
He knows what he did was wrong.
That's why he took off running.
That's why they never recovered the murder weapon.
You know what a good example is this?
To explain what you just said.
You know, like we're watching NFL football and the player gets tackled and the ball comes out.
It's a fumble depending on how the guy that was running with the ball.
If he's going after the ball, you know it's a fumble.
Right, right.
That's why he took off running.
He knew he did wrong.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah, that's a great analogy.
Yeah.
I hope that kid roasts in hell.
Public Defender Reality Check 00:02:13
Yeah, I'm thinking he'd get about bare minimum, he's gonna get 10, 15 years, but they're gonna have to make an example out of him.
You took a knife to a track meet and stabbed someone.
No, if I got in a fight at a track meet in high school, Kevin, think back when it was 17 because Will's on the track team, right?
Think about it.
Let's say you got into altercation to fight.
Dude, would you expect somebody to pull a knife and stab you?
That's like the last thing I would think of.
It would just be punches, punching.
That was it.
You just think it's gonna be who the hell's gonna pull out a knife at a track meet, a high school track meet, and stab you in the chat.
Who does that?
That clean self-defense.
You gotta be brain dead to do something like that, or even to believe that under that scenario, not only gotta be brain dead.
Not only gotta be brain dead.
Are you somewhat, you are somewhat of a vegetable?
You don't have a good capacity to handle anything.
Not only that, the people that's donating to you to help support you because they believe your story that you was fighting for your life there was self-defense.
You gotta be, you gotta be even more stupider because you're an adult.
Yeah, and then now the family's asking for a public defender because they're broke.
They don't qualify.
They don't qualify for a public defender because they've raised over $500,000.
To qualify for a public defender, you gotta be dead broke.
You can't have a job.
Yeah.
Even if they say they don't have enough money, I still will charge you a good, healthy, you know, sum of money because I know you got it in assets.
But they totally don't qualify for a public defender.
They got like $500,000 in their gift single and they're trying to raise up to $1.4 million.
Family sucks, the kids suck.
Yeah.
Everybody sucks.
They try to pull a scam.
They think they're going to keep all that money.
Yeah.
And then go get an attorney and you don't have to pay them nothing.
Yeah, but I mean, the stupidity around this whole incident is just crazy.
Even if he gets off, worst case scenario, that family is still entitled to sue your family.
Yeah.
You'll never see a drop of that money.
Yeah, it's just sorry people.
Yep.
Just horrible people.
