I reached out to the other city council members for comment, but they referred me to a statement the city put out.
They emphasized that this happened on the mayor's personal time outside of Burbank and acknowledged the public's concerns.
They also reaffirmed their commitment to an inclusive, respectful, and professional environment in all official city matters.
