Hodgetwins - This needs to be said.. Aired: 2023-02-12 Duration: 12:09 === Defending the Blue at All Costs (02:12) === [00:00:00] Yeah, got a new show for y'all. [00:00:02] Got a damn good show. [00:00:04] I support the blue. [00:00:05] Defend the blue at all cost. [00:00:07] Well, sometimes there's some very good cops out there, man, but they don't get enough credit, man. [00:00:13] But only time you hear about it is when they do something bad. [00:00:16] And unfortunately, in this video, we're pointing out something that the cops did bad. [00:00:20] Well, we talk about the good and the bad. [00:00:22] Yeah. [00:00:23] You know, some people, they just talk about the good. [00:00:25] They don't show the bad. [00:00:27] Yeah, they can definitely point out that the cops make a mistake, too. [00:00:30] Yeah, yeah. [00:00:30] But people have this perception that when cops do things wrong, it's because of racism. [00:00:40] It's no, no, I wasn't going to say that. [00:00:41] What was he going to say then? [00:00:42] Well, let me say it. [00:00:43] Well, say it. [00:00:45] People have this impression that when they see something like happen in Memphis here over the last couple of weeks, they think that's a rare thing. [00:00:54] But this stuff happens a lot more times than you realize. [00:00:56] And I'm going to show it to you. [00:00:58] Yeah, it happens. [00:00:59] It happens. [00:01:00] Let me say something. [00:01:00] Let me do some talking. [00:01:01] You're hogging the damn air. [00:01:03] Look, it happens, but statistically, it's very minimal compared to the grand scheme of things. [00:01:09] Cops come in people hundreds of thousands of times, you know? [00:01:13] Yeah, but I guess. [00:01:13] It's a law of large numbers. [00:01:15] Yeah, but I just let me finish talking. [00:01:18] Like, you could go out, it could be 10,000 incidences, right? [00:01:23] And all of them are good. [00:01:24] Right. [00:01:25] Be that one incidence that gets all the airtime. [00:01:28] Well, we shouldn't even do this video then. [00:01:30] No, but some people got to see this. [00:01:31] They think cops are perfect. [00:01:34] Got to point out, hey, man, there is some incompetent cops out there. [00:01:37] Okay, so let me put this out there. [00:01:38] This is what happened. [00:01:39] This is up in New Jersey. [00:01:41] It's late at night. [00:01:41] I think it's two or three in the morning. [00:01:43] And cops showed up to this residence to break up a party. [00:01:47] It's three o'clock in the morning. [00:01:48] It's like a house party. [00:01:49] You watered it down, man. [00:01:50] It's a bunch of Negroes three o'clock in the morning having a house party. [00:01:56] I wasn't trying to downplay what were they in the hood. [00:01:58] This is an urban area. [00:02:00] It's a bunch of black people walking around causing the scene. [00:02:04] Got their radios turned up. [00:02:06] Three o'clock in the morning having a house party like they ain't got no neighbors. [00:02:09] But well, that's what's going on. [00:02:11] They're being inconsiderate. === Late Night Party Shootout in NJ (07:12) === [00:02:12] But what does black have to do with it? [00:02:14] That's everything to do to it. [00:02:15] It's the facts. [00:02:20] I'm just, it don't have nothing to do with it. [00:02:22] But it was robbing me. [00:02:24] I would say there was white. [00:02:25] I'm just identifying the perpetrators. [00:02:26] That's all I'm doing. [00:02:27] I'm just laying down some facts. [00:02:30] Okay, so the cops come to break up the party. [00:02:33] Yeah, it's a disturbance, right? [00:02:34] Now, this is where the video, yeah. [00:02:36] Yeah, out in the streets, two o'clock in the morning, people, the neighbors. [00:02:38] They're being inconsiderate. [00:02:39] How you gonna be walking them down the street? [00:02:41] That's why I can't be no cop, man. [00:02:43] Three o'clock in the morning in a bad neighborhood? [00:02:44] Bunch of Negroes outside? [00:02:51] I mean, who goes out, walks up down the street three o'clock in the morning. [00:02:57] Only people out at that time is pimps, prostitutes, drug dealers, and people that's trying to rob you, man. [00:03:03] And inconsiderate people. [00:03:05] Yep. [00:03:06] But it ain't got nothing to do with your race, your color, your ethnicity. [00:03:09] It has nothing to do with your religion. [00:03:11] It doesn't matter. [00:03:11] Yeah, clean it up. [00:03:12] Clean it up. [00:03:13] All right, let's go to the video. [00:03:16] Where are you? [00:03:16] Where's the gun? [00:03:19] All right, Scott. [00:03:20] I'm with a weapon right now. [00:03:21] In front of the colour, where are you, bro? [00:03:24] Amiciano got him in custody. [00:03:26] No, but where is he? [00:03:28] Everything's good? [00:03:29] Yeah, I got the weapon right here. [00:03:32] Yo, shots fired. [00:03:34] Shots fired. [00:03:37] Guys, shots fired. [00:03:38] Shots fired. [00:03:39] On the Marion. [00:03:58] Stop the cop! [00:04:04] Get down! [00:04:07] I don't got no gun! [00:04:08] Put your hand! [00:04:09] I don't got no gun! [00:04:13] Damn, I'm hit! [00:04:15] Why did you run from me? [00:04:17] I was scared. [00:04:18] I don't got no gun down. [00:04:20] So turns out this guy didn't have a gun. [00:04:22] He heard the gunshots, he takes off running. [00:04:25] Run by the cops, the cops like, Are you running? [00:04:29] This has got to be the guy that's shooting. [00:04:31] Yeah. [00:04:32] So the cops shoot him in the back. [00:04:33] The cop thinks he has a gun. [00:04:35] He doesn't have no gun. [00:04:36] Yeah. [00:04:36] Shoots him in the back. [00:04:37] The guy's paralyzed. [00:04:39] Yeah. [00:04:41] So apparently, if like you heard these gunshots and 10 Negroes came running down the street, I guarantee this dude would light them all up. [00:04:50] Didn't dawn on him that they're running from gunshots. [00:04:55] This is crazy as hell. [00:04:56] They're running. [00:04:57] I mean, what are you going to do? [00:04:58] You're... [00:05:05] I'm fucking rolling down that street. [00:05:11] But the cop don't see it that way. [00:05:12] He doesn't see a man running for his life. [00:05:15] He sees another Negro shooting guns. [00:05:17] He imagined that this man had a gun, shot him twice, the dude's paralyzed. [00:05:22] So he probably has a bias towards black people. [00:05:25] No, he just, I don't think he's biased. [00:05:27] He's just incompetent. [00:05:28] Yeah, incompetent. [00:05:30] I mean, that's the two possibilities. [00:05:32] I mean, it's easy for us to be play money morning quarterback, but you know, that's just common sense. [00:05:37] You hear gunshots, you go running, you see people running. [00:05:40] Hmm, they're running towards the cops. [00:05:43] They're hoping that you're going to save them. [00:05:45] No, this cop chases him, shoots him in the back 12 times. [00:05:48] And you made a very valid point. [00:05:51] When he heard those gunshots, if he'd have saw 10 black men running, he'd have shot every last one of them. [00:05:55] If he'd have saw 10 white people running with white person, he'd have let that. [00:05:59] I would think. [00:06:00] I can't be in the cop's mind, but yeah. [00:06:04] He said he said, drop the gun, drop the gun. [00:06:06] All he's running with is his black hands. [00:06:08] I guess black hands like a gun, huh? [00:06:11] He didn't have no gun. [00:06:12] Yeah. [00:06:12] Yeah. [00:06:13] And now this guy's paralyzed. [00:06:14] So this happened like back in June of last year. [00:06:17] So it took the eight months to file charges against a man who's running from gunshots and shoots him in the back twice. [00:06:24] It took him eight months to figure out they was going to charge him. [00:06:27] I mean, it's all on body cam. [00:06:28] It took y'all that long to figure this shit out? [00:06:30] Yeah. [00:06:30] It took us what? [00:06:31] How long? [00:06:32] Man, I saw the 15 minutes. [00:06:35] Took them eight months to bring charges. [00:06:38] Because when I first saw a video, I see the guy running. [00:06:41] I mean, I'm a cop. [00:06:42] He can see you. [00:06:43] If I really, if I'm shooting a gun, I'm not going to run towards the cops. [00:06:48] Maybe I will run towards the cops because I think my life is in danger and I'm running from gunshots. [00:06:53] So this is what happened. [00:06:53] Somebody was pissed off. [00:06:54] The cops came up, came down that and broke up the party. [00:06:58] I didn't show all the video. [00:06:59] He walked by a lot of people just out in the street. [00:07:01] Yeah. [00:07:02] Right? [00:07:02] So that's the direction he came from where the gunshots came from. [00:07:05] So somebody had a gun that was at the party. [00:07:07] You heard him on the body cam. [00:07:08] He found another gun there. [00:07:10] So there's a bunch of hooligans out here. [00:07:11] So another hooligan was up the street. [00:07:13] Yeah. [00:07:14] Wanted to scare the cops or get the cops to check it. [00:07:16] So he fired his gun up in the air probably two times. [00:07:19] The other guy saw that and got scared and took off running. [00:07:21] Yeah, and he ended up getting one of his own people shot in the back. [00:07:24] The guy whoever shot the gun in the arrow. [00:07:26] Yeah, just trying to be an idiot. [00:07:28] Yeah. [00:07:28] But the cop, they wasn't charged with attempted murder because I guess he thought he had a gun. [00:07:34] He was charged with aggravated assault and something else like that. [00:07:43] No attempted murder because I guess he thought he had a gun. [00:07:45] Well, if you shoot somebody, you're trying to kill them, right? [00:07:48] Yeah, if I'm shooting your ass, I'm trying to kill your ass. [00:07:50] Yeah. [00:07:50] If I'm tasing you, I'm not trying to kill you. [00:07:52] Even though it's a deadly weapon, you could die from it. [00:07:55] But if I shoot two rounds in your back and they're nine millimeter slugs and they're, no, I'm trying, I'm trying to kill you. [00:08:03] That's not, that is attempted murder. [00:08:06] Yeah, but it was reckless for him to shoot a guy. [00:08:08] I mean, I've never seen a scenario where it's okay to shoot somebody running from you unless there's a possible hostage negotiation. [00:08:16] He's got a knife, he's got a gun, and you look like he's going to take a look at him. [00:08:19] If he's running to a damn preschool or a high school and he just shot somebody now, he's running inside school. [00:08:24] Oh, cops can shoot him. [00:08:25] Oh, yeah. [00:08:25] I remember years ago when we lived in Santa Ana, California, this guy had a gun in Santa Ana, California, and he was running from the cops. [00:08:32] And he ran into, he was running into a McDonald's, right? [00:08:35] So the cops shot him in the back because he was going to turn that whole McDonald's into a hostage situation. [00:08:40] His kids, there's women. [00:08:41] So in situations, they can't shoot you in the back. [00:08:43] Yeah, there's a few exceptions, but it's got to be a hostage situation, possible hostage situation. [00:08:50] Yeah, the dude was 28 years old, Khalif Cooper. [00:08:52] Yeah, and he's going to get paid. [00:08:55] I would think so. [00:08:57] This happened June 11th. [00:08:59] He was paralyzed. [00:09:02] He was actually paralyzed in the video. [00:09:03] He couldn't even move his head. [00:09:04] You know what was very disturbing when I saw this video? [00:09:08] What? [00:09:09] He asked the guy, why would you running from me? [00:09:12] That was the most eye-opening thing about this video. [00:09:16] It's like, how, in a rational mind, if you're thinking clearly, how could you think that man was running from you? === Why Cops Shot Him in the Back (02:44) === [00:09:24] Yeah. [00:09:25] You know? [00:09:26] Because here are the gunshots. [00:09:27] That cop ran maybe, what, 20 yards? [00:09:30] Yeah. [00:09:31] Maybe, yeah. [00:09:32] But why would he think, I don't understand the cop's perspective. [00:09:36] How would you think that that man is running from you? [00:09:38] He's running towards you. [00:09:40] There's gunshots. [00:09:42] And automatically, when he runs by you, you think he's running from you? [00:09:45] If he's running from you, shouldn't he be running the other direction? [00:09:49] Yeah. [00:09:49] He's running away from it. [00:09:51] It's like, man, I don't think it's racism. [00:09:53] I don't think it's... [00:09:54] He might have a racial bias, but it's definitely he's incompetent. [00:09:58] Most of these cops that, I mean, a lot of, we have a lot of cops on the street that doesn't belong on the street. [00:10:03] Yeah. [00:10:04] The qualifications you must be able to show must be lifted. [00:10:10] Not just any Joe and I just looking for a pension and good benefits to be able to come in and become a cop. [00:10:15] This job for B should be for a select few. [00:10:18] Yeah. [00:10:18] And this dude sells like Rocky Bob Ball. [00:10:21] Charge fired, charge fire. [00:10:25] Yeah. [00:10:26] He should sell like Rocky Bob Ball before he fired. [00:10:29] Before he became a champion. [00:10:31] When he was getting all the bloody noses, his damn nose was on the side of his face. [00:10:36] It's like, we should, you know, do we need to reform police officers? [00:10:41] I think we do. [00:10:42] We need to pay them more and we need to select a slick few. [00:10:44] We should look at police officers like, damn, Spartans. [00:10:47] That's the quality. [00:10:48] And I don't think, shut up. [00:10:50] That's the exceptionalism you should strive for. [00:10:53] Just to fill a job opening or a job position. [00:10:56] No, you should be looking for Spartans. [00:10:58] Yeah, they should be trained better. [00:11:00] Oh, they trained DND and damn police account. [00:11:02] Follow them. [00:11:03] I don't think it's that long. [00:11:05] They should be training like all these scenarios. [00:11:07] Yeah, a bunch of different scenarios, like scenarios like this. [00:11:11] Yeah. [00:11:11] I seen a cop. [00:11:12] I didn't even talk about it. [00:11:13] This cop went to, somebody called a cop, said, somebody's in this dude's house, or the doors are open. [00:11:19] So the cops get there. [00:11:21] They don't go knock on the door and ask what's going on inside the house. [00:11:23] They sneak around the house, go up to somebody's window, see somebody in there, and pull a gun, and then shoot and kill them. [00:11:30] Turns out it was the person who lives there. [00:11:33] Yeah. [00:11:34] Turned out to be a black woman. [00:11:36] I think a lot of their training is not like an actual, they don't paint scenarios out. [00:11:40] They don't put them in, you know, hostresses. [00:11:42] They need to put them in. [00:11:43] To try to replicate what would happen out in the real world. [00:11:45] They're just reading the book. [00:11:46] They're looking at videos. [00:11:47] And That's not cutting it because if a man, if you see a man running from gunshots and you assume that he's running from you when he's running towards you, then how the hell did you get through the police academy? [00:11:59] It must not be a very difficult or it's not difficult at all. [00:12:03] There's no training. [00:12:04] These cops need to be trained better. [00:12:08] Damn, good shot.
