Hodgetwins - Black TikToker Says stop Using the N-word Aired: 2022-10-16 Duration: 05:13 === Why Black People Use That Word (03:32) === [00:00:00] Yeah, I got a new show for y'all. [00:00:01] We got a damn good show. [00:00:03] I'm about to show you this message. [00:00:05] It's a beautiful message, man. [00:00:07] It's a beautiful message. [00:00:08] And I think, I mean, I say it, but when I say it, we're joking, but we shouldn't say it either. [00:00:13] Yeah, an N-word. [00:00:14] Yeah, I've been sitting here in the last couple of videos because it just sounds funny. [00:00:19] But I really shouldn't be using that word. [00:00:22] Yeah, in my opinion, and I've always said there's no black guy. [00:00:26] Yeah. [00:00:26] Nobody should use that word. [00:00:28] Right? [00:00:29] But for some reason, the black community thinks they've taken that name and turned it into a term of endearment, which is crazy as hell. [00:00:37] Because I know white people, when white people like crazy as hell, these niggas calling each other niggas. [00:00:46] I know white people's like, man, this is just bizarre. [00:00:49] It is. [00:00:50] I said that wrong. [00:00:51] What? [00:00:52] Maybe a racist white man would say these niggas calling each other niggas. [00:00:56] White people look back. [00:00:58] Wow, black people calling each other the n-word. [00:01:01] That's how I should have said it. [00:01:03] That's like an oxymoron when I said, wow, these niggas calling each other. [00:01:10] You know what the racist white people are thinking? [00:01:12] I taught these niggas good. [00:01:16] Right, right. [00:01:17] What do you call that? [00:01:18] Stockholm synchro? [00:01:19] It's something like that. [00:01:20] Something like that. [00:01:21] But I'm going to show you the video. [00:01:22] And no, check it out. [00:01:24] Check out the video. [00:01:25] Story. [00:01:25] Just yesterday, a young black guy on my job, around 27 years old. [00:01:30] He called me the N-word. [00:01:31] And I got upset. [00:01:31] And I told him, I want him, don't call me the N-word. [00:01:33] So he didn't quite understand why I was upset about him calling me the N-word. [00:01:37] And I said, let me tell you a little story. [00:01:39] I said, back in the early 1980s, my parents moved us to an all-white town in North Carolina. [00:01:44] I was around 12 years old. [00:01:45] Okay. [00:01:46] And with them days that moved to this town, we saw Ku Kuck Klan newsletters and all kind of crap in our front yard every day. [00:01:53] Okay. [00:01:54] So my brother, my younger brother and I, we were like, why would our parents move us to an all-white town like this? [00:01:58] We didn't understand. [00:02:00] So, but in the midst of all that, you know, I met two cool little white dudes and they told me where I can go ride my BMX bike and skateboard and all this kind of stuff. [00:02:07] Anyway, I went there, had a good time, and I left. [00:02:10] And when I left there, I was by myself riding my bike back home. [00:02:15] I was riding. [00:02:16] All of a sudden, a car jumped the curve. [00:02:17] It was two older white men took out the car and said, where you going, N-word? [00:02:23] I looked and they said, take your ass back where you come from, you little N-word. [00:02:28] And the taller one, he took and looked at. [00:02:30] You better not call it. [00:02:32] I don't care if you black, Puerto Rican. [00:02:34] I don't care if you black as the ace of spades. [00:02:36] You call me to whoop your ass. [00:02:38] He can whoop your ass. [00:02:39] What happened to him when he was 12 with them white people? [00:02:41] He's going to take it all. [00:02:42] Your black ass. [00:02:45] But that's a lot of wisdom in what he's saying. [00:02:47] There's a lot of wisdom, man. [00:02:48] It's a beautiful message. [00:02:49] Nobody should be saying that. [00:02:51] Even black people. [00:02:52] And black people, everybody needs to hear this message. [00:02:55] I understand why white supremacists use that term, but I never understand why black people use that as a term of endearment. [00:03:03] It just boggles my mind. [00:03:05] You know what? [00:03:06] He grew up in North Carolina. [00:03:07] We grew up like maybe an hour from North Carolina. [00:03:10] And we grew up in Marnsville, Virginia. [00:03:11] And he brought up the Klan. [00:03:13] Every year, annually, the Klan would walk down the main street in our city. [00:03:18] The Ku Klux Klan. [00:03:20] Yeah. [00:03:20] And I'm sure he's seen it too because he's, oh no, he might be a little bit older than us. [00:03:24] It looks like we're about the same age. [00:03:26] Around 50. [00:03:27] But anyway, and I ain't 50. [00:03:28] What the hell are you talking about? [00:03:29] I'm 35. [00:03:30] I'm 37. [00:03:31] No, we're 35. [00:03:32] Yeah, yeah. === Growing Up With White Supremacy (01:40) === [00:03:33] What the hell you talking about? [00:03:34] I'm 35. [00:03:34] I ain't 50. [00:03:35] But anyway, and so I know exactly what he went through. [00:03:39] I mean, we grew up in the south, too, Virginia, and I got called that a lot by way that happened. [00:03:43] I walked up the street. [00:03:45] I was going to go play with my friend G.B. Hopkins. [00:03:48] And I was walking by this house. [00:03:49] And there was a rebel flag front out front. [00:03:52] There's a bunch of rednecks out there drinking with mullets, drinking Paps Blue Ribbon Beer. [00:03:57] One of them had this big ass great day. [00:03:59] I thought he was gonna stick that big ass dog on me. [00:04:01] That dog look like a damn deer. [00:04:02] It was huge, right? [00:04:04] And they looked at me. [00:04:04] I was scared. [00:04:05] He said, you know what that white man told me? [00:04:08] You know what he told me? [00:04:09] What did he tell you, man? [00:04:10] Because he knew who I was. [00:04:12] He knew I was going to go play with his. [00:04:14] Well, he knew of GB. [00:04:16] He didn't really know. [00:04:17] But anyway, he knew who I was. [00:04:19] He said, get your green-eyed spear-chucking ass up the street. [00:04:27] Shit, crazy, right? [00:04:29] It's a crazy world, man. [00:04:31] And then GB Hopkins, underneath him, he had this big fat white girl that went to school with me. [00:04:35] Well, she was old. [00:04:36] She was in high school. [00:04:37] And she wanted to molest me. [00:04:42] I grew up in a crazy white side of town. [00:04:44] Instead of growing with the poor black side of town, I grew up in the poor white side of town, which is 100 times better. [00:04:55] Hey, what did GB do, man? [00:04:56] Did he stand up for you? [00:04:58] I went to his house. [00:04:58] He wasn't even home. [00:05:00] It was next door. [00:05:01] Man, you a dumbass nigga. [00:05:03] Could have lost your life. [00:05:07] Stupid. [00:05:07] Did you just. [00:05:08] The whole point of this video is to stop saying the word. [00:05:12] You don't sense the sarcasm?
