Hodgetwins - St. Louis Couple Uses 2nd Amendment To Defend Their Property Aired: 2020-06-29 Duration: 05:50 === Private Property vs Protesters (04:29) === [00:00:00] Get out, calm down. [00:00:04] Private property, get home down. [00:00:06] Everybody's talking about the St. Louis couple. [00:00:08] Yeah. [00:00:09] Hey, y'all do realize St. Louis in itself is like one of the most dangerous cities in the United States. [00:00:17] But this seems like a nice area. [00:00:19] Yeah. [00:00:20] Where they at? [00:00:21] What happened was these protesters, Black Lives Matter, defunct police, they was out doing some protests. [00:00:27] That's not protesters. [00:00:29] That looked like an angry mob to me. [00:00:31] Well, it's not protesting once you go on somebody's private property. [00:00:35] You broke through that fence. [00:00:36] Yeah. [00:00:37] And this couple, this St. Louis couple, comes out of the house holding weapons because I'm sure they look at the news just like everybody else do. [00:00:44] And y'all keep calling these people peaceful protesters. [00:00:47] 15 people has been murdered since these protests have started. [00:00:51] I've seen businesses burned down. [00:00:53] Yeah, I've seen people being attacked for simply just being white. [00:00:56] I saw a white homeless man get attacked. [00:00:59] I saw a man praying on his knees get attacked for no reason at all other than because he was white. [00:01:06] Yeah, so if you're coming on, if you're a protest on public streets, that's fine. [00:01:10] But you breaking through people's fences. [00:01:12] There's signs saying private property, do not enter. [00:01:15] You're trespassing. [00:01:16] You do it and you beating drums. [00:01:19] I would take that to be a bit aggressive. [00:01:24] Right? [00:01:24] And these people's house, I don't even know why people call this their house. [00:01:28] This is a museum. [00:01:29] This looks like a damn... [00:01:33] This is bigger than a castle. [00:01:34] This is bigger than the African American Museum in Washington, D.C. How the hell do y'all change the light bulbs in this damn house? [00:01:44] Man, that's what... [00:01:45] I mean, I wouldn't call that a house, man. [00:01:47] I live in a house. [00:01:50] That is a national treasure which you people are living in. [00:01:54] It's a mansion. [00:01:56] That is beautiful. [00:01:56] It's worth, I'm sure, in the millions. [00:01:59] And they've been in that mansion for decades and they've totally renovated. [00:02:04] Think about how much money went into that. [00:02:07] Yeah. [00:02:07] Time, money. [00:02:09] They have put in that home, restoring it, right? [00:02:13] Okay, now think at this place as your place. [00:02:16] Yeah. [00:02:16] And all the money and time you put into it. [00:02:18] And you see these people come onto your private property and break in on your property, break the gate. [00:02:24] Yeah, and you've seen the news, you see what these peaceful protesters have been doing. [00:02:29] Wouldn't you get a firearm? [00:02:31] Wouldn't you get at least a damn slingshot? [00:02:34] You would pull an arrow, a rock. [00:02:37] I would grab something. [00:02:38] Yeah, they came out protecting that property. [00:02:40] Now, if they really wanted to hurt someone, they could have baited y'all. [00:02:44] Yeah, they could have just been off in the window like a sniper or in the bushes just waiting for you to do something stupid. [00:02:50] No, they came out, made that sales known, showed y'all they ain't playing. [00:02:55] Yeah. [00:02:55] Don't play with me. [00:02:57] That's a very interesting point you made. [00:02:59] If they really wanted to hurt you, they could have just baited you guys. [00:03:02] They could have just simply came outside holding the all lives matter sign. [00:03:05] Say, hey, all lives matter. [00:03:07] All lives matter. [00:03:08] And just baited y'all until y'all came in the house and said, shoot him, Betsy. [00:03:12] It's coming right for us. [00:03:15] If he really wanted to hurt you. [00:03:16] But that's not what their intention was. [00:03:18] They was just letting y'all know they ain't playing. [00:03:21] And to the person, to the person who's telling these people to calm down. [00:03:26] They was telling the couple to calm down, right? [00:03:28] How you gonna tell the couple to calm down? [00:03:30] That's their property. [00:03:32] Shouldn't it be the other way around? [00:03:34] Shouldn't they be telling you to calm down? [00:03:36] Shouldn't they be telling you to get off their property? [00:03:39] What right do you have to tell them to calm down when you just broke through that fence? [00:03:43] Yeah. [00:03:43] Broke on their property and you make the rules? [00:03:46] Yeah. [00:03:48] The one guy was screaming, this is public property. [00:03:52] We're on the sidewalk. [00:03:53] No, you own private property. [00:03:55] Just because it's a sidewalk doesn't mean it's public. [00:03:58] You just don't know how to read. [00:04:00] If you knew how to read, you would know private property. [00:04:04] Just because you see a sidewalk doesn't make it different. [00:04:07] Yeah, I want to say this one thing. [00:04:09] They wasn't intending on, they wasn't going to the St. Louis couple's house. [00:04:14] Yeah. [00:04:14] That mansion, that damn museum, that national treasure, right? [00:04:18] They was going to the mayor's house. [00:04:20] I want to see what the mayor's house look like. [00:04:24] I mean, how do you afford that? [00:04:25] Or the mayor's salary? [00:04:27] Maybe it was a rich person. [00:04:29] You know what? === Who Owns The Sidewalk (01:20) === [00:04:30] I got all this money. [00:04:30] I got all this time on my hands. [00:04:32] I'm going to become damn mayor. [00:04:33] No, a lot of these politicians, man, they got more than one stream of revenue. [00:04:37] They start businesses and they want to serve their community. [00:04:41] That's true. [00:04:41] Yeah. [00:04:42] Do you know what? [00:04:42] These people are American heroes. [00:04:46] They're patriots. [00:04:47] Yeah, to the couple that was defending your property, you didn't do anything wrong. [00:04:52] You was well within your rights to protect yourself. [00:04:55] Yeah, and your property. [00:04:56] Man. [00:04:56] Matter of fact, when we come back to St. Louis, which is pretty tough, we're banned from the comedy club there.
