And this is exactly what we're trying to do.
To start this project, we're calling it the Global Virome Project.
And a group of us are trying to get this agenda and see if it's actually fundable.
See if we can get countries to get behind it, get agencies to get behind it, the private sector to get behind it.
And finally, start to discover the total diversity of risky viruses on the planet.
A lot of them won't come to anything, but some of them, hopefully, will be the next HIV and will stop them before they happen.
alex jones
Fauci's right-hand man, Dr. Peter Daszak, sought DARPA's approval to release a deadly COVID virus into the wild.
The Fauci-controlled project sought to target humans with, quote, skin-piercing nanoparticles to deliver chimeric weapons.
peter daszak
And did surveillance of bats across southern China.
And we've now found, after, you know, six or seven years of doing this, over 100. New SARS-related coronaviruses, very close to SARS. Some of them get into human cells in the lab.
Some of them can cause SARS disease in humanized mouse models and are untreatable with therapeutic monoclonals.
And you can't vaccinate against them with the vaccine.
So these are a clear and present danger.
anthony fauci
There's always the potential for bioterror.
And we have a major biodefense research.
And development effort that spans agencies from the NIH to do the basic research to be able to develop better vaccines.
The worst bioterrorist is nature itself.
Nature is very good at evolving microbes to create problems, much smarter than any terrorist.
So what we've tried to do over the years is to use the expertise, the resources.
To allow us to respond better to a deliberate affront or attack on us with a microbe of any type, engineered or what have you, to use that knowledge to better prepare us for what we know will happen.
Instead of looking at it in two separate silos of biodefense for biological threats that are deliberate and countermeasures for naturally occurring, you should essentially pool the science so that you could...
Do both.
rick bright
There might be a need or even an urgent call for an entity of excitement out there that's completely disruptive, that's not beholden to bureaucratic strings and processes.
anthony fauci
So we really do have a problem of how the world perceives influenza and it's going to be very difficult to change that unless you do it from within and say, I don't care what your perception is.
We're going to address the problem in a disruptive way and in an iterative way, because you do need both.
rick bright
But it is not too crazy to think that an outbreak of a novel avian virus could occur in China somewhere.
We could get the RNA sequence from that, beam it to a number of regional centers, if not local, if not even in your home at some point.
alex jones
I have been told...
A lot of people that would have access to classified information, high-level people in the CIA say, no, we know it's really a global consortium.
It's a synthetic nanovirus.
And now the Pentagon and DARPA release the smoking gun on Fauci's ass that he had Daszak come to them and say, we want to create this and secretly release it in China.
And they said, are you crazy?
The Chinese will nuke us, you maniacs.
roger hodkinson
Global deaths.
Directly attributable to the vaccine, 20 million.
alex jones
We have conservatively 20 million people they just murdered.
roger hodkinson
2 billion serious adverse reactions of the type I described.
alex jones
And Fauci and Klaus Schwab and Peter Daszak and Bill Gates and Tedros, they're all still walking around.
We've already had a bunch of their top people defect over and say, hey, I'm not with them because they understand.
How many scientists and researchers have gone public and that they're not going to hide this?
And they knew the bigger agenda.
They were supposed to keep us in the lockdown and control forever and release more viruses.
It didn't go the way they wanted.
Their plan failed.
It backfired.

It will be known as the biggest crime ever committed on humanity.

Good morning, ladies and gentlemen.
Welcome to the American Journal.
I'm your host, Harrison Smith, coming to you live this Wednesday morning.
I gotta say, folks, it's too much.
It's too much at this point.
I mean, there's always a lot of news.
It's just a little ridiculous.
It's getting a little bit ridiculous these days.
We just have so much to get to.
The Trump administration is just firing on all cylinders.
And they're not letting up for even a single second.
So we just have so much to talk about in terms of what Trump is doing and the way that the left is seemingly, they seem to be sort of finding their feet in the resistance now.
They finally have the...
Establishment lies necessary to wake them out of their stupor, the stupid stupor, in order to actually try to stand up against Trump.
Ever since the election, they've basically just been punch drunk.
They've just been sort of wandering around like fentanyl zombies, not sure what to do with themselves.
And finally, with the new crazy lies about...
Like cutting off Medicare and Medicaid and SNAP benefits.
And we'll get into exactly what's going on there because I think there may be some pretty high-level sabotage happening.
But ever since then, they're sort of like, oh right, we're supposed to resist.
We're supposed to be the resistance.
We're supposed to stand up to stop this.
Of course, the problem that they're facing is that they've been utterly eviscerated in the...
They have absolutely no power to stop anything Trump is doing.
And so their rage is impotent.
So that's very funny.
But they are seemingly reinvigorating themselves for the fight ahead.
And on that topic, we will be tuning into the RFK Jr. confirmation hearing that's slated to start today.
I don't know if the crew wants to give me an exact time.
I'm not sure when exactly this is supposed to start.
9 a.m.
Central.
So in one hour, we will be tuning in to the RFK Jr. confirmation hearing and commenting on that.
It promises to be a contentious one.
And in fact, even before we get to the Daily Dispatch today, let's go ahead and go to this video by Nicole Shanahan.
She was, of course, RFK Jr.'s vice presidential candidate.
And she's on the warpath.
Basically sending a shot across the bow to any senator that's going to hold up this process and prevent RFK Jr. from being confirmed.
Let's go now to Nicole Shanahan, clip number five.
Here's a video she posted on X with the title, Dear U.S. Senators.
Let's watch.
Clip number five.
unidentified
Hi, everyone.
Tomorrow is a pivotal moment in our nation's history.
At 10 a.m.
Eastern Time, RFK will sit in front of the Senate Finance Committee for his confirmation hearing to be our nation's next Secretary of Health and Human Services.
I urge everyone to call their U.S. senators over the following days and demand they vote yes on Bobby's nomination.
He is more than qualified.
He's proven, principled, and prepared to lead.
I'll share a list below of key senators.
If they represent your state, they need to hear from you.
If they don't, please call your own senator and ask them to vote yes.
We need as many votes as we can get.
So this hasn't been widely reported, but in 2020, I cut large checks to Chuck Schumer to help Democrats flip two Senate seats in Georgia from red to blue.
The two candidates I helped elect, Senator Raphael Warnock and Senator John Ossoff, please know I will be watching your votes very closely.
I will make it my personal mission that you lose your seats in the Senate if you vote against the future health of America's children.
And more than that, I also want to say to Senators Mitch McConnell, Lindsey Graham, Lisa Markovsky, Susan Collins, Bill Cassidy, Tom Tillis, James Langford, Cory Booker, John Fetterman, Bernie Sanders, and Catherine Cortez Masto, this is a bipartisan message, and it comes directly from me.
While Bobby may be willing to play nice, I won't.
If you vote against him, I will personally fund challengers to primary you in your next election.
And I will enlist hundreds of thousands to join me.
Big Pharma and Big Ag have exploited us for far too long.
It ends now.
You're either on the side of transparency and accountability or you are standing in the way.
The choice is yours.
Please choose wisely.
Ooh.
harrison smith
She's gotta be the prettiest mob boss I've ever seen.
Yeah.
Pretty, pretty ballsy stuff.
I love it.
This is real democracy, folks.
This is democracy in action.
It really is.
Social media is finally sort of starting to serve its purpose as being the direct conduit between the people and those who represent us.
So I love seeing it.
You love seeing Nicole Shanahan flex the money she's already given and issue very real threats.
Against people to stand up against them.
I will personally fund challengers to primary you.
She seems so nice.
I just don't want to get on her bad side.
I just don't want to be on her bad side.
So I think that's great.
And we will be checking into the RFK junior confirmation.
This is a very important one.
And again, we covered it yesterday.
The story that was like, this week is really going to test Trump's influence on Congress.
No.
Congress is being tested as to whether they are fit for purpose anymore.
Can they even deliver on what the vast majority of Americans want in a bipartisan fashion?
Or are we just going full executive branch from now on?
Because this is another one of these things that the Democrats really have been on the forefront of and is now biting them in the ass.
That is the fact that they have systematically deprived Congress of power.
They've consolidated it in the executive branch because to them it's a lot easier to control the executive branch than it is to try to control a whole bunch of members of Congress.
So it's just more convenient for tyranny.
If you're going to implement tyranny, you're going to want to do it through the executive branch.
So they've consolidated a lot of power in the executive branch, and now that's our power.
So they maybe should have thought about that before they did it.
But yeah, this is a test of Congress, not a test of Trump.
And are even willing to do anything good for the American people or whether they just need to be consigned to the ash heap of history, as it were.
But Trump's absolutely on the warpath in like a million different ways.
It's incredible to see.
Let's just get right into it, shall we?
Here it is, your daily dispatch.
All right, here it is, folks, your daily dispatch for Wednesday, the 29th of January, 2025.
Trump administration to offer buyout option to federal employees not wanting to work in person.
The Trump administration is expected to send out the offer as early as Tuesday evening, which will allow employees.
To retain benefits and be paid through September if they hand in their resignation by February 6th.
President Donald Trump's administration is allegedly planning to send out a buyout option for most federal employees who do not want to return to work in person.
Multiple outlets reported Tuesday.
He signed an executive order last week that instructs all executive branch departments and agencies to terminate remote work arrangements by next month.
The order came after a House report found that vast numbers of federal employees telework from home or other locations wasting billions of taxpayer dollars spent on office space.
This whole scenario is kind of hilarious in a lot of ways.
First of all, apparently something like 6% of federal employees ever deigned to actually come into office and work.
Since announcing that they had to come into work, people have been monitoring the federal employee subreddit where federal employees post, most often during work hours, and it's all of them freaking out about like, now I have to find childcare.
It's like, well, so, wait, so you weren't really working.
You were just at home, not working, taking care of your kid.
Now you have to come to the office.
You're freaking out because you aren't going to be paid for being a stay-at-home mom anymore.
This is outrageous.
An interesting part of this, I mean, this is, it's like I said, I guess it was last week.
It's like we have a genie in the White House.
It's like we have a genie in the White House.
And even the most...
The seemingly outrageous desires of Trump supporters is being fulfilled.
I don't know how many times I saw people post something along the lines of, you know, Elon Musk went into Twitter, fired 90% of the engineers, and Twitter still runs fine.
They should just do that for the federal government.
And I was like, yeah, yeah, it's a pipe dream.
That'd be great.
Yeah, sure, that would be great.
A man can dream, but it's never actually going to happen.
Yeah, it is actually happening.
It is actually happening in exactly the same way that it happened at Twitter.
Apparently, the email that has been sent out that says, you know, the title was Fork in the Road, and you can choose to stay on and come into work, or we're offering you this very generous offer to step down.
Apparently, it's like word for word exactly the same email that Elon Musk sent out to his Twitter employees before.
Massively downsizing that workforce.
So it is happening.
It's happening.
It's amazing.
And again, we'll get into this.
The Democrats are freaking out about it.
Tim whatever.
You remember the guy?
He was a vice president candidate a couple months ago.
His name's Tam.
I can't remember his last name.
But he's freaking out and telling them, don't accept this.
Don't you dare accept this.
They're going to accept it.
It is a very, very good deal.
Again, we'll get back into that a little bit later.
Meanwhile, Pete Hegseth, to immediately pull Mark Milley's security detail, retired general may face demotion.
Pete Hegseth is set to announce that he will be immediately pulling the security detail of retired General Mark Milley in retirement.
Milley may be demoted in retirement if an inspector general finds evidence showing he took action to undermine the chain of command in the first Trump term.
So they have lost an investigation against Mark Milley.
I have the feeling that they are going to find that he undermined the chain of command because he actually testified to doing that in front of Congress.
So that's the evidence.
If you're looking for evidence that Mark Milley undermined the chain of command, find his Senate hearing where he says, for all intents and purposes, I undermined the chain of command and communicated with My Chinese counterpart, aka our enemy, in opposition to and in just complete betrayal of what the commander-in-chief told me to do.
So I wonder if they'll find evidence.
I wonder if they'll find evidence of the thing he confessed to on national TV. Meanwhile, Trump signs the order protecting children from chemical and surgical mutilation.
Yeah, that's right, folks.
On Tuesday, President Trump signed an executive order titled Protecting Children from Chemical and Surgical Mutilation, declaring that it is the policy of the United States that it will not fund, sponsor, promote, assist, support the so-called transition of a child from one sex to another and it will rigorously enforce all laws that prohibit or limit these destructive and life-altering procedures.
unidentified
Amazing.
harrison smith
Amazing.
alex jones
Thank you.
harrison smith
Again, we're just getting back to sanity.
We're all just waking up from this fever dream nonsense that we've been forced to endure for the last couple of decades.
People are freaking out about this.
They're saying the executive branch doesn't have a right to interfere in the medical decisions.
The executive branch is the law enforcement branch of our government.
Castrating children.
It's against the law.
Performing medical procedures that leave a person crippled for life as an elective surgery, that's against the law.
So we're just stripping away all of the rhetorical devices that are used to make this stuff seem reasonable.
And we're just getting to the facts of the matter, the reality of the situation, and that is that supposed doctors Are castrating and genitally mutilating children all across America, and we're putting a stop to that.
So amazing.
It's incredible to see.
And it was that easy.
It turns out it was that easy.
Turns out you don't have to let psychotic Munchausen syndrome by proxy moms castrate their little boys so that the other liberal We never did, it turns out.
It just took Trump being elected for things to actually happen.
Now, Trump's big federal freeze yesterday was very, very infuriating to the leftists.
Of course, their perspective of it was based on a Complete and utter misrepresentation, misunderstanding, or total fabrication about what the order actually entailed.
And we can expand on this in a little bit, but there has been some pushback.
Biden judge halts Trump federal grant funding freeze.
One day after the Trump administration suspended grants, loans, and other federal assistance while programs undergo a comprehensive review, a Biden-appointed judge temporarily blocked the pause.
U.S. District Judge Lauren L. Kilcon.
Kikon?
Kli-Kli-Kli-Kon?
Lauren L. Kliken?
Klik-Klik?
Was appointed by former President Joe Biden in 2022, issued an administration stay that lasts until Monday afternoon and only applies to existing programs, AP reports.
Administration officials says the decision to halt loans and grants, a financial lifeline for local governments, schools, and nonprofit organizations around the country, was necessary to ensure that spending complies with Trump's recent blitz of executive orders.
The Republican president wants to increase fossil fuel production, remove protections for transgender people, and end diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts.
Now, the actual order that went out did not tell all of these governmental organizations to just shut down completely.
We'll get into the details of this in just a second.
I'll read a breakdown of this to explain how this has been falsely interpreted on purpose in order to do another hoax.
It's the second official hoax of the Golden Age.
Second, official lying hoax from the Democrats.
So we'll get into this a little bit more, but I have a question.
If they're non-governmental organizations, but they receive all of their funding from the government, then what's actually going on here?
So it actually is a governmental organization.
It's just the American people have no oversight or control over it.
It's almost like a military aspect of our government.
If an NGO goes away without government funding, then it's a government organization.
And it shouldn't be given all of the ability to do what it does by being labeled an NGO. These aren't charities.
These aren't non-governmental organizations.
They are, in fact, governmental organizations.
And they just circumvent the requirement of actually justifying their existence by claiming that they're NGOs.
There is no law that says the American people have to waste their tax dollars funding private organizations that work completely against our morality, way of life.
Fundamental beliefs.
What are you talking about?
But apparently it's been paused.
We have to argue this.
Again, we'll get into it a little bit later, but just know everything you're reading in the mainstream media about it, it's pretty fake.
It's pretty fake and wrong and lies.
Meanwhile, Ukraine conflict could end in weeks, according to Vladimir Putin.
Volodymyr Zelensky is dependent on Western life support.
The Russian president has said the Ukraine conflict could end in just two months.
If Kiev is deprived of the money and ammunition, it depends on to continue fighting, according to Russian President Vladimir Putin.
Speaking to a reporter on Tuesday, Putin was asked about the possibility of a negotiated end to the Russian-Ukraine conflict.
They can't exist without their Western sponsors.
They won't last a month if the money and ammunition run out.
Everything can be over in a month.
And a half to two months, Ukraine practically has no sovereignty in that sense, the Russian president added.
We'll show you more clips from that as well, but yes, it's looking like Trump will succeed in bringing peace there, as well as everywhere else around the world.
And finally, we have this, RFK Jr. to face grilling from senators at first confirmation hearing.
RFK Jr. is set to face his first Senate confirmation hearing as President Donald Trump's nominee to become the next Secretary of Health and Human Services Wednesday when he's expected to be grilled about his views on vaccines and abortion as well as potential conflicts of interest he would face in the role.
While several of Trump's cabinet picks have generated controversy, few have provoked the level of outside opposition from both the right and the left that Kennedy, a former third-party presidential candidate, has drawn.
Which I think...
This is a story from NBC News.
I think they're writing this still under the false assumption that people would consider that a bad thing.
No, that's a mark of approval as far as we're concerned.
The Uniparty hates him?
Great.
No, that's why we like him, actually.
That's actually why we like him.
Now, they're running the same playbook that they ran against Pete Hegseth and every other candidate that they don't have legitimate complaints about.
And that is to dredge up decades old, never certified claims of impropriety and basically spread hit pieces that I'm sure he'll be questioned about later today.
It will be very annoying.
Just be ready for that part of the confirmation to be very annoying.
And hopefully RFK is prepared for that stuff.

Now, it's just my luck.
It's just my, it's just almost a daily thing at this point.
We do a morning show, and then the moment I get off, it's like news breaking.
Yesterday it was the press conference with this new press secretary.
Caroline Levitt.
And this woman.
I mean, my God.
Because you always get a little bit nervous.
She's only 27 years old.
She's eight years younger than me.
And she is handling this room with the poise and confidence.
It blew me away.
She always gets a little bit nervous.
This is that connection point between the White House and...
You know, the people, and it can be a very potent source of embarrassment, as we've seen for the last four years.
The last four years, where every day we got to tune in and just see Corrine Jean-Pierre or Jen Psaki before her, just flailing, just flailing and lying and running away half the time and being browbeaten by some dweeb from Fox News or whatever.
I was a little nervous going into it.
I admit I was a little bit nervous.
But man, she is amazing.
And the big takeaway from this, the big news that came out of this for the first time, was the fact that the drones over New Jersey, the White House knew about the entire time.
I'll show you that clip on the other side.
And a whole bunch more.
We have so many videos to get to because you got Stephen Miller and Tom Homan and Caroline Levitt.
And it's just...
We're firing on all cylinders.
Engaging at every level with the enemy.
And it's victory across the board.
It's too much.
It's honestly too much.
unidentified
Welcome back, ladies and gentlemen.
harrison smith
This is the American Journal.
Look, when I say it's too much, I'm not even kidding.
I'm not even kidding.
I prepared so much today because I want to get into what's happening in Europe.
I'm like, I've got stats from Italy, I've got stats from Denmark, I've got what's going on in the UK because it's insane there.
I mean, I want to track back not just to the Southport riots last year but sort of tracing Keir Starmer's The current prime minister, his career, and how it's aligned with the deliberate destruction of the UK. There's a lot to say to that.
I'm probably not even going to get to it.
I'm probably not even going to touch that today.
We'll have to save that for later.
I'd love to talk about that, but this is the American Journal after all.
We got all this stuff, all these videos to go to from Trump surrogates in the media, just demolishing the leftist narrative in real time.
It's amazing.
We've got...
Just everything they're doing.
Blowing expectations out of the water.
I mean, at this point, I think some of the leftist fear-mongering might be legitimate.
Like, I think there's a good reason they should be concerned.
He's doing things that I never expected.
He's doing things that if a leftist told me he would do them, I would have called them crazy.
It's unbelievable.
I mean, banning...
Child mutilation and gender transition surgery for people under 18. I mean, it's obvious.
It should have been done years ago.
Crazy that it even has to be done.
But it's happened.
One week into Trump's presidency, and he's just like, no, we're not cutting off kids' genitals anymore.
It's like, I never thought I'd see the day.
It's amazing.
It really is.
So I gotta say, I don't know what comes next.
I was laughing because there's a billboard somebody put up.
AF Post reported on this.
Make America Great Again billboard featuring Selma police facing down civil rights protesters goes up in Montgomery, Alabama.
So the picture of, you know, from the Selma, I think it's from the movie.
I don't think it's a real picture.
But it's, you know, white cops approaching well-dressed black men and says, make America great again.
Right, because that's what it means, right?
It's like, okay, well, we know what this is.
We know exactly what this is, obviously, right?
It's invoking this 60-year-old conflict and acting like this is from the Museum of Fine Arts.
Just sort of despicable propaganda in a lot of ways.
Maybe we'll go to a video here to dispel this whole notion.
But a few things about this.
First of all...
No civil rights protester from the 1960s was ever treated as badly as the January 6th.
I'll just lay that out right now.
If that sounds hyperbolic to you, let me say it again.
No civil rights protester in the 1960s was treated as badly as January 6th.
It would actually be an interesting prank to do to go to some, I don't know, Black Lives Matter type group.
And present them stories about the January Sixers, but claim that it's actually stories that were hidden from you about the civil rights era.
And I mean, they would be weeping, they would be crying, they would be decrying what a horrible thing this was.
And then you go, you know, actually, I'm lying.
That's what was done to Trump supporters by the modern American government.
That'd really be a shock because as far as I know.
I mean, there were, you know, they did tear gas.
Yeah, they did that on January 6th too.
There were dogs.
There were no dogs on January 6th.
I'll give you that.
There were people beaten to death though.
There were a lot of people beaten to death.
I'm not sure I've seen any, I mean, maybe firing like rubber bullets into the crowds happen.
I've never seen, I've never heard of a civil rights hero that was like peacefully protesting when, you know, some...
Alabama state trooper just went up and just shot him in the chest, point-blank range, in front of everybody.
I don't think that ever happened.
I don't think that ever happened.
It did happen on January 6, though.
I haven't heard any stories of civil rights leaders.
I don't think Martin Luther King Jr. was ever put in solitary confinement for years on end for his peaceful protesting activity.
So let's just get that.
You don't have to invoke 60-year-old struggles against the government and civil rights.
Worst things are happening right now.
So let's be clear on that in the first place.
It's funny, that headline, I hadn't seen it, said people are confused at the intent.
Who's confused at the intent?
The only people confused at the intent are so awash in liberal propaganda.
That they actually think that a Trump supporter would be like, yeah, we're going to segregate black people again.
If you believe that, you're an idiot.
It's obviously what the purpose of this is.
It's to misrepresent what to make America great again.
It's actually all about.
I didn't even think I was going to go to this video, but I think I put a video in.
We may have different skig.
Yeah, let's go ahead and go to clip 21 because I wasn't even going to go to this.
Today, but I did happen to drop it in.
So let's play this in response to the Montgomery Museum of Fine Arts, heinous blood libel propaganda about Make America Great Again.
Here's a black woman explaining it to you.
Let's watch.
unidentified
So I'm scrolling and I see a lot of black women making videos talking down to black men who voted for Trump.
And I just have to say, if you voted for Trump and you're a black man, thank you.
And I thank you because I know exactly why you voted for Trump.
You voted for secure borders so that us women and children can be safe.
You voted for a strong economy so that us women and children can be provided for.
You voted for our children to not be indoctrinated in this failed public school system.
You voted for my right to not have to use the bathroom with a biological man.
You also voted for our children not to be drafted into another endless, senseless war that only benefits the military industrial complex.
And also, you voted for the protection of our freedom of speech.
The same freedom of speech that these Evil, nasty, disgusting women are using to wish death upon you.
So as a Black woman, I just want to say thank you for voting for Trump.
I truly appreciate you, and I'm going to speak life into you.
I pray that God continues to protect you and guide you.
I pray that he gives you the success that you deserve.
I pray that he gives you the strength to lead your family and your communities.
And for anyone who wants to say in the comments that I'm going to pick me, Baby, I'm already chosen.
So what about you?
It's Trump 2024. You already know.
2024. Yeah, powerful stuff.
harrison smith
So let's just go ahead and abolish the entire leftist argument real quick right there before we move on.
But the reason I was bringing this up is because, I don't know, maybe Trump's going to come out with an executive order about water fountains today.
I don't know.
We're in uncharted territory at this point.
I thought all this stuff was insane liberal fear-mongering before, but it's all happening.
But it's all happening.
So who knows?
Who knows?
Maybe Trump will resegregate schools.
We don't know.
We don't know.
It's uncharted territory.
I'm going to provide water fountains exclusively for people of color.
It's high time.
They've had to share water fountains with white people too long.
Separate, but it's called separate but equal, people.
unidentified
Separate but equal.
harrison smith
Kidding, kidding, obviously, but no, the point is that Trump is, he literally is doing things that we never would have expected, never thought he was going to do.
It's amazing to see this happen.
The mainstream media is trying desperately to corrupt this and stop it.
But Trump has the people with him now serving as his proxies to devastate and dominate them at every pass.
So the first video we'll go to is, oh, you know what?
I said I would go to the video of Caroline Levitt.
Caroline Levitt is the new White House spokeswoman, and she is a dynamo.
She is absolutely poised and very capable of dealing with these.
Mainstream media scumbags.
I also like how she has the MyPillow, Mike Lindell style of cross-wearing, which I really appreciate and enjoy.
It's where you go out of your way to put your cross necklace on top of whatever else you're wearing.
And so it's like a shining beacon, the first thing that you see when you look at them.
I like it.
We need more of that.
So let's go to...
This video, which one am I looking for here?
23. Yes, after research and study.
So this is the big news that came out of the press conference yesterday.
We won't go to a lot of videos of it, even though we could.
This is the problem with having a show in the morning.
If I get off and suddenly, you know, suddenly Alex and Owen just get to watch this whole press conference all day, and it's fantastic.
So I'll revisit it a little bit, even though by this point it's old news.
By this point, nobody even cares.
But we'll watch.
Clip 23, after research and study, the drones that were flying over New Jersey were never mysterious at all, apparently.
Let's watch.
unidentified
I do have news directly from the President of the United States that was just shared with me in the Oval Office.
From President Trump directly, an update on the New Jersey drones.
After research and study, the drones that were flying over New Jersey in large numbers were authorized to be flown by the FAA for research and various other reasons.
Many of these drones were also hobbyists, recreational, and private individuals that enjoy flying drones.
In time, it got worse due to curiosity.
This was not the enemy.
harrison smith
This was not the enemy.
No, we told you that.
The entire time, like, we laughed every time.
They were like, it's Iran.
No, wait, I mean it's China.
No, wait, I mean it's aliens.
No, wait, I mean it doesn't exist.
Like, it does beg the question, why?
Why would they not just say this?
Remember, Trump kept saying that.
Trump kept going, they know what the drones are.
I don't know why they're not telling you.
And it's true.
It's like, why are they not?
And I think in general, it's just, you know, don't let a good crisis go to waste.
It's just, I guess, innocent drones flying around.
And the Biden administration is like, but hey, we could use it to get war with Iran.
We could use it to increase anxiety about China for the upcoming war with them.
Let's not let this go to waste.
Let's let the fear and the fright fester.
It's a distraction.
People are talking about that rather than about the insane pardons we're about to release.
So I think it was just useful to them to hijack this mass hysteria because they don't actually care about you or the truth.
Telling you anything that you need to know, what they prefer is keeping you in a state of continual anxiety and fright and fearfulness and manipulability.
They want to keep you malleable by keeping you fearful, and I think that's what they're doing.
By the way, we are keeping an eye on the Robert F. Kennedy confirmation hearing countdown clock.
We are 14 minutes away from that hearing, so if you...
Are worried about missing it?
Don't.
We are going to go to it just as soon as it starts.
Stay here for live coverage of that hearing just as soon as it begins.
But let's go to Stephen Miller on Jake Tapper because it was brutal.
It was brutal.
Poor, poor Jake Tapper having to go up against Stephen Miller.
If only they weren't such.
Outrageous scumbags, they wouldn't be receiving the treatment that they so rightly deserve.
Let's go first to clip number 32.
This is the big scandal about the firing that Trump did of the people that work in the executive branch.
Now I want to remind you.
jake tapper
This has to do with Trump on Friday to fire a number of inspectors general in various departments.
This afternoon, Senators Chuck Grassley, a Republican from Iowa, and Dick Durbin, Democrat of Illinois, the chair and ranking member of the Judiciary Committee, sent a letter to President Trump, and they're asking for an explanation why he fired these inspectors general from 18 offices without giving Congress...
The required, legally required 30-day notice.
These two senators, one of whom is a big ally here, says, quote, while IGs aren't immune from committing acts requiring their removal and they can be removed by the president, the law must be followed, unquote.
So why didn't President Trump, according to these senators, follow the law and give Congress the required notice?
stephen miller
Well, I mean, first of all, we love Chuck Grassley.
The president loves Chuck Grassley.
I love Chuck Grassley.
As far as I know, everyone in America loves Chuck Grassley.
So we fully embrace that relationship and are a close partner of his.
But the president's authority to fire any federal worker is plenary.
There's no lawful constraints that can be placed on the president to terminate a worker in the federal government who exercises discretionary policy.
That's the basis of Article 2 and the Constitution and the idea of a single executive.
When you have anyone in the federal government...
Who exercises decision-making authority who can't be fired.
And that person is a king.
And then we don't have a democracy anymore.
jake tapper
The law says 30 days, Stephen.
The law says you have to give Congress 30 days.
stephen miller
And I'm telling you what the Constitution says with respect to the President's authority.
jake tapper
So you think the law is unconstitutional?
stephen miller
Absolutely it is.
I don't even think it is.
I know it is.
unidentified
All right.
jake tapper
Stephen Miller, thanks so much for your time.
Appreciate it.
harrison smith
You think the law is unconstitutional?
Stephen Miller's just like, yeah.
It is.
It's not about me thinking it.
It's about me recognizing it.
Yeah, it is.
But that wasn't the only absolute L that Jake Tapper took yesterday.
Again, it really was a beatdown.
Let's go down to clip number two.
This is Steve Miller on Jake Tapper.
And Jake Tapper tries to deploy the typical who's going to pick our crops argument when it comes to illegal immigrants.
And it just doesn't fly.
Let's watch.
jake tapper
One of the reasons that President Trump got elected, according to President Trump in an interview, I think it was with Kristen Welker of NBC, was because of grocery prices.
Not the only reason, but a reason.
High prices, inflation, especially at the grocery.
The Department of Agriculture says that between 2020 and 2022, 42% of crop workers were undocumented immigrants.
And in many cases, as you know, these migrants do jobs many Americans do not want to do.
How do you, how does President Trump make sure that the effort to deport people who are not in this country legally doesn't end up hurting Americans who want safe borders, absolutely, but also don't want to see even more higher prices in groceries?
stephen miller
Well, I'm sure it's not your position, Jake, you're just asking the question, that we should supply America's food with exploitative, illegal alien labor.
I obviously don't think that's what you're implying.
Only 1% of alien workers in the entire country work in agriculture.
The top destination for illegal aliens are large cities like New York, like Los Angeles, and small...
Industrial towns, of course, all across the heartland, as we've seen with the Biden floods.
None of those illegal aliens are doing farm work.
Those 30,000 illegal aliens that Joe Biden dumped into Springfield...
jake tapper
Yeah, I'm talking about the ones that are...
stephen miller
No, no, no, but I'm explaining this.
It's important to understand.
jake tapper
No, you're kind of changing the subject.
I mean, I'm talking about the ones...
stephen miller
I will go...
Give me 30 minutes, I'll go as deep as you wanted to.
I'm explaining to you and your audience...
jake tapper
I'm talking about the ones that work in the agriculture industry.
You can come back and we can talk about the ones in the cities, I swear.
stephen miller
I'll do the whole answer.
The illegal aliens that Joe Biden brought into our country are not full stop doing farm work.
They are not.
The illegal aliens he brought in...
From Venezuela, from Haiti, from Nicaragua, they are not doing farm work.
They are in our cities collecting welfare.
As for the farmers, there is a guest worker program that President Trump supports.
Over time as well, we will transition into automation, so we'll never have to have this conversation ever again.
But there's no universe in which this nation is going to allow...
The previous president to flood our nation with millions and millions of illegal aliens who just get to stay here.
And we are especially not going to allow a subset of those illegal aliens to rape and murder our citizens.
So we are going to unapologetically enforce our immigration laws.
And as I'm sure you will celebrate, we are going to unleash the power and might of the U.S. government to eradicate the presence of transnational threats on our soil.
So...
harrison smith
Stop, stop.
He's already dead.
Stop beating him.
Oof.
Yeah, oof to that.
And man, there's so many things to say about this.
It gets into the immigration.
It gets into the lies of the mainstream media.
But importantly, the argument is predicated on food prices.
Now, this is interesting because for the past couple of years, we keep being told that food prices are low and the economy is great.
So what happened there?
Gee, what's happening there?
Yeah, this is me watching Stephen Miller just brutalize the corpse of Jake Tapper in CNN. It ain't pretty, folks.
It feels good, though.
It feels good.
Sort of an Achilles Hector kind of situation.
It's like, all right, you already killed him.
Do you need to drag his body around the battlefield on your chariot for a couple days?
Is that really necessary, sir?
No, but it feels good.
No, but it is fun to do.
But this is the amazing thing.
AP News, a headline yesterday, pushed this out all over social media.
Egg prices are soaring.
Don't expect that to change anytime soon.
Here's the issue with that.
This is the first AP post, the first AP headline with the words egg prices since February 2023. They've spent the last two years downplaying and ignoring the price of eggs, telling you the price of eggs has nothing to do with governmental policy because that would reflect badly on Democrats.
To all of the sudden, it's a top story.
They care a hell of a lot about the price of eggs.
Now, of course, the price of eggs is actually so high because millions of birds have been culled because of the bird flu epidemic that they created in a lab and released on purpose, by the way.
So, I mean, that's all part of a big plan.
But now that it's able to be weaponized against Trump, suddenly they care about your economic outlook.
I mean, are you not insulted?
Should we not all be insulted at these people?
Willing to downplay and cover up economic strife when it's convenient, only to then batter you on the head with it the day Trump gets into office.
It's just so blatant at this point.
It's just so transparently manipulative.
I can't believe they're actually running with this.
And I actually have a video of a guy talking about this phenomenon in particular.
Clip number 13, the only people who don't understand this, Our Democrat supporter NPCs.
Let's watch.
unidentified
You wanna know why nobody believes the word Democrats say in the Trump era?
It's because during the election, they told us the economy was great.
Everybody's doing fine.
It's just a messaging problem.
You don't understand.
Now Trump's in office a week, and the Democrats are like, yo, when are you going to lower the price of groceries?
Nobody can afford anything.
The eggs are out of control.
And AOC's jumping in to say we can't deport murderers and rapists back to Colombia because that's going to jack up the price of coffee.
So what is it?
A week ago, the economy was doing great.
A week later, it's so bad, we'd rather take our chances with getting murdered than paying an extra 25 cents for a latte.
Yo, Democrats, you tell me the economy's bad, you can tell me the economy's good.
But if I've learned anything in the past week, it's that you can't tell me the truth.
Yeah, very, very good stuff.
harrison smith
Very, very powerful stuff.
And again, I just hope people are seeing through this.
I really hope they're seeing through it.
And I hope they're learning to develop the kind of x-ray vision that you need in this world right now.
For example.
There was a talk yesterday during the press conference about $50 million earmarked to give condoms to people in Gaza.
Insane, right?
Insane that our government is doing anything like this.
Now, that's just nothing compared to the stuff that we pay for.
It's truly outrageous, and if we had a 10-hour show, maybe I could get to half of it.
I haven't read this story.
I have not looked into this.
I just have supervision, and I can tell you right now, I know everything about this story from what I've already seen.
How condoms became a weapon against Israel.
Well, the condoms were a weapon against Gaza, so turnabout's fair play.
I can tell you right now, what actually happened is that $50 million was slated to some sort of education system about teaching Gazans the beauty of homosexuality and the...
There's a necessity of birth control, and I'm sure there was some sort of either NGO or governmental organization that was in charge of this, and it cost $50 million, and part of what they did was to distribute condoms.
Now, that gets translated into...
$50 million worth of condoms.
And then the MSM comes in and says, $50 million worth of condoms?
That's ridiculous.
That's too many condoms.
We would never pay for that many condoms.
This is another lie from the Trump, as if it doesn't get to the heart of the issue.
The heart of the issue is that we're wasting money on frivolous programs overseas that don't benefit anybody and cost us immense amount of money.
And so now, remote control condom bombs by Gaza stopped by the US government.
Okay.
unidentified
Okay.
harrison smith
Hilarious.
And if we go to this website, timesvisual.com, Andrew Miller, who served as Deputy Assistant Secretary for Israel-Palestinian Affairs under former President Joe Biden, called these claims outlandish, saying it's possible that $50 million is put aside for sexual health or something of that nature.
Oh, so I was right.
Oh, supervision.
That's how it works.
Ladies and gentlemen, second hour of American Journal is on and RFK Jr. is in the building.
RFK Jr. has now entered into the congressional building for his Senate hearing confirmation, his confirmation hearing with the U.S. Senate.
And it should begin momentarily.
We see there's some sort of ghoul there named Ron Wyden.
All of the various Halloween creatures that compose the Democratic Party are lining up to stab their fellow Democrat in the back, along with the corporate Republicans who are there to do the bidding of Big Pharma so they can poison us all to death and make millions of dollars while doing it.
RFK Jr. is an existential threat to their entire program, and they will be doing everything they can to put him in a position today to justify their vote against him.
The problem is they've got The whole of the American populace watching them.
And we all love RFK Jr. So they should think really carefully about the vote they make here.
And we'll go to this hearing live.
I don't know.
Do we want to go to the opening statements as well?
Or just wait until they get to the questioning?
We'll do the opening statements then.
So RFK Jr. is sitting down right now.
The press gaggle is getting their photos.
Again, I can't even list out to you the number of amazing things that have happened this week.
Hopefully the RFK Jr. confirmation will just be a cherry on top of this populist Sunday that we're all gorging on right now.
The left is, of course, and the Uniparty really is, of course, trying to stop this procedure at every...
Okay, Mr. Crapo is about to start.
I don't know.
That's his name.
Don't blame me.
Let's go and pull up the audio here.
The hearing of RFK Jr. The confirmation hearing is about to begin.
As far as I know, this could go on sort of as long as they need it.
But we know the Uniparty faces an existential threat with RFK Jr. I thank my colleagues and Mr. Kennedy for being here today.
unidentified
Mr. Kennedy, congratulations on your nomination.
Throughout this process, Mr. Kennedy, you have been accessible to members and staff on both sides of the aisle and have demonstrated strong commitment to fulfilling the responsibilities of this role.
The Department of Health and Human Services oversees our nation's largest health care programs, providing coverage for nearly two in every five Americans.
Improving Medicare, Medicaid, and CHIP, among other initiatives, presents challenges, especially in the face of a rapidly aging population, stubbornly high costs, and persistent barriers to access.
However, this also provides us an opportunity to deliver bold, transformative solutions.
As a committee, we share a commitment to advancing common sense, bipartisan policies that improve the delivery of health care in this country.
This committee has worked to realign incentives in the prescription drug supply chain, to enhance access in rural communities, to expand the availability of telehealth and improve the broken clinician payment structure.
Across these and other issues, I look forward to working with the administration to continue pursuing meaningful reforms that serve the American people more effectively and more efficiently.
Too often, patients encounter a health care system that is disjointed.
Bipartisan policies that improve the delivery of health care in this country.
This committee has worked to realign incentives in the prescription drug supply chain.
harrison smith
There's going to be a lot of this sort of normal, I don't know, governmental mishmash.
Here's what I, they're like, you know, improve telehealth connectivity, align doctors.
I get a little bit worried about that when they're like, this medical system is so disjointed.
It's like, yeah, well, it's private, it's companies independently operating, and they...
Collaborate and cooperate.
And it actually works fairly well.
When you hear them complaining about things being disjointed, what that means is they want to consolidate it so they can control it.
And I'm against that.
But of all the things he listed, I didn't hear removing fluoride from the water.
I didn't hear mercury in the vaccines and the rise of autism, the plague of diseases that confront us.
We'll be right back.
We're like the...
You know, citizens of Washington, D.C. that went out to watch the first battle of Bull Run in the Civil War.
We're observing from a high point the battle in this war for all of humanity.
And I want to point out something that Zero Foxtrot pointed out on X. And I saw a couple other places.
If we can bring up my computer screen, and we'll go back to the coverage in just a second.
It's opening statements where they say a bunch of platitudes and not much important.
But we'll go back to that just momentarily.
Just real quickly, I want to go to this video.
This is Trump delivering a message to the World Economic Forum.
Now, what do you notice about the symbolism here?
Do you notice anything wrong?
Do you notice anything different?
Do you notice anything out of place?
Look at the eagle behind Trump.
It, of course, is the American seal.
Do you notice anything different about it?
This is where...
It's like actually a piece of symbolism.
Often you'll see like, Donald Trump Jr. held his hands in a steepling pose.
That means he's a mason.
And it's like, okay, that type of symbolism is often not right.
This is real symbolism.
This is real symbolism used in the way that symbols are supposed to be used.
If the crew can look up the Venetian flag, the Venetian flag has a lion.
It's called the Lion of St. Mark.
And he's holding a book.
And if the crew can pull up the Venetian flag, yeah, I should have told him this during the break.
But you'll notice that on the Venetian flag, there's a Lion of St. Mark, and he's got a book, and you see the book is open, because that's the Book of Peace.
And in times of war, the Lion of St. Mark will have the book closed.
You close the Book of Peace in times of war.
So if we go back to the image of Trump delivering his statement to the World Economic Forum, you'll notice that the eagle in the U.S. seal...
Has his head turned to the right when in every other depiction it's turned to the left?
And what's in the talons of the eagle?
Well, on the left it's an olive branch representing peace, and in the right it's arrows representing war.
So Donald Trump delivered this message to the World Economic Forum in front of a big sign that says, I am at war with you.
And a big sign that says, in the...
Dichotomy between war and peace, we are on the side of war.
Okay, this is real symbolism.
This is actually symbolism being used to send a message to those with the eyes to see it.
Trump is on the war path, and what we're witnessing now in the Senate confirmation hearing of RFK Jr. is a crucial battle in this global conflict for the fate of the human race.
So let's go back to Senator Ron Wyden.
who is glowing like a space alien.
unidentified
So many of the basic issues that impact Americans daily lives.
In a gobsmacking statement of irresponsibility in November 2023, Mr. Kennedy said that he wanted to pause infectious disease research for eight years. . Mr. Kennedy said that he wanted to pause infectious disease Mr. Kennedy has indicated he's open to restricting access to the abortion medication Mifepristone, which remains a primary target of the Republican crusade against reproductive freedom.
I took this on back in 1990 when I chaired the first congressional hearing on the topic.
The science was clear then.
It's even clearer today.
Mifepristone is safe.
The only reason it's under question in 2025 is because people with a political agenda have been out lying about it.
Women deserve to know if Mr. Kennedy will abuse his power as our country's chief health officer to essentially implement a national abortion ban by restricting access to the safe and legal medication.
Meanwhile, as the Trump budget office threw the Medicaid program into chaos yesterday, Republicans in Congress are proposing deep cuts to the program that will rip away health care from millions of Americans.
harrison smith
That is a lie.
Medicare, Medicaid, all things that gave funds directly to Americans to support them in their life were specifically and explicitly excluded.
They are lying about this.
Now, there was problems with the Medicare and Medicaid systems.
That, I believe, was deliberate sabotage by the Democrats to give them the talking point that he's now repeating on the Senate floor.
Back to Wyden.
unidentified
We've made a fortune delaying and denying care.
Mr. Kennedy has virtually no knowledge or experience in handling these issues.
B.S. He literally wrote the book on the topic.
Like the nation witnessed yesterday when the Trump Budget Office shut down the federal Medicaid payment portal.
harrison smith
Wow, saying that same lie over and over, huh?
unidentified
And the careful review of Robert F. Kennedy Jr.'s statements, actions...
harrison smith
They're too early in the second Trump administration.
They don't have a lot of lies to throw out.
They just have the one so far.
So they got to keep deploying that card.
So it's totally untrue.
Trump didn't shut down the Medicare.
Trump didn't shut down the Medicaid.
It was explicitly excluded.
Somebody within that organization committed sabotage behind the scenes and gave them the talking point.
But they did cause trouble and they did cause pain.
And I'm looking forward to seeing some further developments of that today.
I imagine the Trump administration will come out.
Probably have been investigating this all night as to who did that behind the scenes because it was completely illegal and an act of sabotage from the deep state stowaways.
unidentified
Keep watching.
At every single turn, people feel like they're rolling a load of dice, loaded dice, when they try to get health care.
Americans are justifiably angry, fed up, and tired of the system that puts profits over patients.
Instead of debating meaningful ways to improve Americans' health care, now the committee is being forced to relitigate settled science about vaccines.
harrison smith
My God, settled signs.
We need a bingo card here.
Are they going to bring up all of the dumbass talking point phrases?
Now, I want you to know something.
In most confirmation hearings, it's an even split.
The Democrats are going to be...
Jackasses to the Republicans.
Republicans are going to be jackasses to the Democrats, and it's just that's the way it goes, and it's infuriating and petulant, but that's our governmental system.
Unique situation here.
You've got Democrats and Republicans going after RFK Jr., which should tell you that he's the real deal, which is why this is so important and why we're watching it live.
unidentified
Thank you, Ranking Member Wyden.
Mr. Kennedy, in a few moments you will be given the opportunity to make your opening statement and respond to these attacks and other questions that the members of this committee have.
I would say that with regard to the attack on Medicaid that we just heard, that was a false attack.
It's been proven false overnight.
The Medicaid portal is operating efficiently today.
And was never intended to be shut down.
Would gentlemen yield since he's mentioned my name?
harrison smith
Oh my God, he didn't mention it.
unidentified
There was a significant amount of time yesterday where there was bedlam across the country over the status of the Medicaid portals.
I hope it's being corrected, but there were problems all through the day.
There certainly were attacks yesterday.
The problem has been clarified and the Medicaid portal is fully operational as we speak.
harrison smith
It was never shut down by Trump.
unidentified
I would like to give you a brief introduction.
The son of Senator Robert F. Kennedy and nephew of President John F. Kennedy, Robert Kennedy Jr., has been an advocate for consumers since 1985. After graduating from Harvard University, Mr. Kennedy studied at the London School of Economics and received his law degree.
From the University of Virginia Law School and a master's degree in environmental law from Pace University.
He has founded two advocacy groups and has spent the last 40 years working to restore and protect children's health.
He was a former independent candidate in the 2024 presidential election.
And President Trump nominated him this year to be the, or in November of 2024, to be the HHS secretary.
Thank you.
In announcing his nomination, President Trump stated, Mr. Kennedy will restore these agencies to the traditions of gold standard scientific research and beacons of transparency and end the chronic disease epidemic and make America great and healthy.
Again.
Before you give your opening statement, Mr. Kennedy, I have four obligatory questions that we ask all nominees before this committee.
First, is there anything that you are aware of in your background that might present a conflict of interest with the duties of the office to which you have been nominated?
harrison smith
Yeah, my dad was killed by the CIA. No, Mr. Chairman.
unidentified
Thank you.
Do you know of any reason, personal or otherwise, that would in any way prevent you from fully and honorably discharging the responsibilities of the office to which you have been nominated?
harrison smith
The LCA might kill me.
unidentified
Do you agree without reservation to respond to any reasonable summons to appear and testify before any duly constituted Committee of Congress if you are confirmed?
Yes, I do.
harrison smith
I see Megyn Kelly sitting behind RFK Jr. It looks like Huma Appadine is over his left shoulder.
I don't know if that's her or not, but it does look strikingly like her.
It's a who's who in D.C. Here's RFK Jr.'s opening statement now.
robert f kennedy-jr
My daughter, Kit Kennedy.
My son, Bobby Kennedy.
His wife, Amaryllis Fox Kennedy.
And my nephew, Jackson Hines, is here, too.
unidentified
We welcome you all.
Thank you.
You may proceed with your statement.
robert f kennedy-jr
Thank you, Mr. Chairman.
Chairman Crapo, Ranking Member Wyden, and members of this distinguished committee, I'm humbled to be sitting here today as President Trump's nominee, oversee the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.
I want to thank President Trump for entrusting me to deliver on his promise to make America healthy again.
I also want to thank Cheryl and Kick and Bobby and all of my other children who are here today and all the many members of my large extended family for the love that they have so generously shared.
Ours has always been a family that has been involved in public service.
And I look forward to continuing that tradition.
My journey into the issue of health began with my career as an environmental attorney, working with hunters and fishermen and mothers in the small town in the Hudson Valley and along the Hudson River.
I learned very early on that human health and environmental injuries are intertwined.
The same chemicals that kill fish Make people sick also.
Today, Americans' overall health is in grievous condition.
Over 70% of adults and a third of children are overweight or obese.
Diabetes is 10 times more prevalent than it was during the 1960s.
Cancer among young people is rising by 1 or 2% a year.
Autoimmune diseases, neurodevelopmental disorders, Alzheimer's, asthma, ADHD, depression, addiction, and a host of other physical and mental health conditions are all on the rise, some of them exponentially.
The United States has worse health than any other developed nation, yet we spend more on healthcare, at least double, and in some cases triple, as other countries.
Last year we spent $4.8 trillion, not counting the indirect costs of missed work.
That's almost a fifth of GDP. It's tantamount to a 20% tax on the entire economy.
No wonder America has trouble competing with countries that pay a third of what we do for health and have better outcomes and a healthier workforce.
But I don't want to make this too much about money.
It's the human tragedy that moves us to care.
President Trump has promised to restore America's global strength and to restore the American dream, but he understands that we can't be a strong nation when our people are so sick.
A healthy person has a thousand dreams.
A sick person has only one.
Over half of our countrymen and women are chronically ill.
When I met with President Trump last summer, I discovered that he has more than just concern for this tragic situation, but genuine care.
President Trump is committed to restoring the American dream, and 77 million Americans delivered a mandate to him to do just that, due in part to the embrace and elevation of the Make America Healthy Again movement.
This movement, led largely by Maha Moms from every state, you can see many of them behind us today, and in the hallways and in the lobbies, is one of the most transcendent and powerful movements I've ever seen.
I promise President Trump that if confirmed, I will do everything in my power to put the health of Americans back on track.
I've been greatly heartened to discover a deep level of care among members of this committee to both Democrats and Republicans.
I came away from our conversations confident that we can put aside our divisions for the sake of a healthier America.
For a long time, the nation has been locked in a divisive healthcare debate about who pays.
Well, when healthcare costs reach 20%, there are no good options, only bad ones.
Shifting the burden around between government and corporations and insurers and providers and families is like rearranging deck chairs on the Titanic.
Our country will sink beneath a sea of desperation and debt if we don't change the course and ask, why are healthcare costs so high in the first place?
The obvious answer is chronic disease.
The CDC says 90% of healthcare spending goes toward managing chronic disease, which hits lower-income Americans the hardest.
The President's pledge is not to make some Americans happy again, healthy again, but to make all of our people healthy again.
There is no single culprit in chronic disease, much as I have criticized certain industries and agencies.
President Trump and I understand that most of their scientists and experts genuinely care about American health.
Therefore, we will bring together all stakeholders in pursuit of this unifying goal.
Before I conclude, I want to make sure the committee is clear about a few things.
News reports have claimed that I'm anti-vaccine or anti-industry.
I am neither.
I am pro-safety.
harrison smith
Looks like we have a protester interrupting.
unidentified
We'll have an order.
harrison smith
I couldn't understand what they were saying.
unidentified
Please proceed, Mr. Kahn.
harrison smith
Could the crew hear what that was about?
As soon as he mentioned vaccines.
robert f kennedy-jr
And toxic chemicals in fish.
And nobody called me anti-fish.
And I believe that vaccines play a critical role in healthcare.
All of my kids are vaccinated.
I've written many books on vaccines.
My first book in 2014. The first line of it is, I am not anti-vaccine.
And the last line is, I am not anti-vaccine.
More am I the enemy of food producers.
American farms are the bedrock of our culture, of our politics, of our national security.
I was a 4-H kid, and I spent my summer working on ranches.
I want to work with our farmers and food producers to remove burdensome regulations and unleash American ingenuity.
Maha simply cannot succeed without a partnership, a full partnership.
Of American farmers.
In my advocacy, I've often disturbed the status quo by asking uncomfortable questions.
Well, I'm not going to apologize for that.
We have massive health problems in this country that we must face, honestly.
And the first thing I've done every morning for the past 20 years is to get on my knees and pray to God that he would put me in a position To end the chronic disease epidemic and to help America's children.
That's why I'm so grateful to President Trump for the opportunity to sit before you today and seek your support and partnership in this endeavor.
I will conclude with a promise.
The members of this committee, to the President, and to all the tens of billions of parents across America, especially the moms.
We'll have propelled this issue to center stage.
Should I be so privileged as to be confirmed, we will make sure our tax dollars support healthy foods.
We will scrutinize the chemical additives in our food supply.
We will remove financial conflicts of interest from our agencies.
We will create an honest, unbiased, gold-standard science at HHS, accountable to the President, to Congress.
And to the American people, we will reverse the chronic disease epidemic and put the nation back on the road to good health.
Thank you.
harrison smith
Wow, an absolute incredible opening statement from RFK Jr. I think the best quote in it, a healthy person has a thousand dreams, a sick person has only one.
And that gets right to the heart of what this is really all about.
There's a reason that they've allowed this to happen.
There's a reason they want you sick and tired and poor and uncomfortable and zonked out on mental illness drugs.
It's because then you're less capable, you're less effective, you're less able to stand up against them.
He just hit the nail on the head with chronic disease, vaccines, shout out to the Maha moms.
Of course, a lot of, you know, when it comes to healthcare discussion is about the drive to get us towards government-controlled healthcare.
We've seen how that has turned out in places like Canada, where one out of 20 Canadians are now killed by their own government.
One out of 20 deaths in Canada are the consequence of assisted suicide.
And something like...
300,000 people in Canada die as a result of having to wait too long and don't get the care they need because the lines are so long.
That's a non-starter.
Also, might I remind everybody that it was about three years ago that the left was trying to deny us healthcare because we refused to take the COVID shot.
If they think they're going to get a government-centralized socialist healthcare, it's over.
That's never happened.
We know who you people are and we know how you will wield.
The power of life and death.
It's never going to happen.
So this isn't about costs.
It's not about profit.
It's about using the healthcare system for its intended purpose, getting back to actually helping American healthcare, keeping American people healthy, not...
He also said, you know, I talked about mercury content in fish.
Nobody called me anti-fish.
I'm not anti-vaccine.
I'm anti-poisons in the vaccine.
That's a paraphrase, but that's what he meant.
Absolutely incredible stuff.
Talking about the entire, you know, entire forest of problems that we face with American healthcare.
It's not about you're just not getting the right medicine, right?
If you have a headache, it's not because you have a Tylenol deficiency.
And if you're depressed, It's not because you have a chemical imbalance in your brain.
All that science has been debunked at this point.
There is a systemic fundamental issue with American health right now, and that's what RFK is going to the heart to.
This appointment and that opening statement was a tactical nuke on the battlefield in this information war.
He's exposing not just the failure of the American health care system, but the point behind it and the...
The holistic way that we need to fix it.
It's about fixing our food.
It's about fixing our vaccines and the medical profiteering system that is in place.
It's about putting limitations on big pharma.
Let's go back to Mr. Kennedy here.
Just incredible.
All right, well, we got to go to commercial break.
Very quick commercial break.
Back on the other side, we'll be monitoring during the commercial break.
We'll bring you any information that you need to see in the meantime.
In the meantime, for your own health, go to thealexjonesstore.com, thealexjonesstore.com slash Harrison if you want to let them know who sent you.
I have been enjoying the Ultimate CMOS. I'm now using the capsules.
I was doing the gummies, but they have the capsules here in this studio, and they're just as effective, just as powerful, thealexjonesstore.com.
All right, folks, RFK Jr. is live on Capitol Hill right now.
It's getting a little spicy, folks.
We backed it up about two minutes.
We're going to show you some sparks flying there in the Senate chamber.
I will say there are people in the Senate chamber that are looking at the journalists that are there.
Cali Means on X shows that they have pre-written negative headlines like they already know how this is going to go.
So, yes, they've already preloaded their negative headlines about RFK Jr. ready for deployment just as soon as it's possible for them to release this.
So here's RFK Jr. potential next head of the HHS being grilled by somebody that looks like they died a year ago.
Ron Wyden.
unidentified
Thank you very much, Mr. Chairman.
Before I begin my questions, I'd like to start by entering into the record a letter of the committee received from Ambassador Carolyn Kennedy outlining what she believes is Mr. Kennedy's lack of personal fitness for the office.
Without objection.
harrison smith
This is the hit piece.
unidentified
Pushing conflicting stories about vaccines.
You say one thing, and then you say another.
In your testimony today under oath, you denied that you were anti-vaccine.
But during a podcast interview in July of 2023, you said, quote, no vaccine is safe and effective.
In your testimony today, in order to prove you're not anti-vax, you note that all your kids are vaccinated.
But in a podcast in 2020, you said, and I quote, you would do anything, pay anything, to go back in time and not vaccinate your kids.
harrison smith
Nothing conflicting about any of this.
unidentified
All of these things cannot be true.
harrison smith
They are absolutely true.
There's no conflict there.
unidentified
Are you lying to Congress today when you say you are pro-vaccine?
Or did you lie on all those podcasts?
We have all of this on tape, by the way.
robert f kennedy-jr
Yeah, Senator, as you know, because it's been repeatedly debunked, that statement that I made on the Lex Friedman podcast was a fragment of the statement.
He asked me, and anybody who actually goes and looks at that podcast and will see this, he asked me, are there vaccines that are safe and effective?
And I said to him, some of the live virus vaccines are.
And I said, there are no vaccines that are safe and effective.
And I was going to continue for every person.
Every medicine has people who are sensitive to them, including vaccines.
He interrupted me at that point.
I've corrected it many times, including on national TV. You know about this, Senator Wyden.
So bringing this up right now is dishonest.
unidentified
Let's be clear.
about what you've actually done then since you want to deny your statements.
For example, you have a history of trying to take vaccines away from people.
In May of 2021, you petitioned the Food and Drug Administration to not only block Americans from having access to the COVID vaccine but to prevent any future access.
To the life-saving vaccine.
Are you denying that?
harrison smith
It's not a vaccine.
There's never a vaccine.
They changed the definition of the word vaccine.
robert f kennedy-jr
We brought that petition after CDC recommended a COVID vaccine without any scientific basis for six-year-old children.
Most experts agree today.
Even the people who did it back then.
COVID vaccines are inappropriate for six-year-old children who basically have a zero risk from COVID. That's why I brought that lawsuit.
I don't want to, I want to emphasize that.
harrison smith
- I don't, the facts. - The facts. - So there's the protest, another protest interrupting.
I can't see exactly what sign she had.
Tell you what, anybody with a mask should be kept out of this room.
Anybody still wearing a mask in 2025 has ulterior motives and should be kept out of the room.
unidentified
Comments from the audience are inappropriate and out of order.
harrison smith
I'm sure she'll be arrested and put in jail for, you know, overnight just like they did to Owen Troy when it happened to him, right?
So that's a pro-big pharma...
Protester.
That's what you just saw, believe it or not.
robert f kennedy-jr
Your recitation of what happened in Samoa is absolutely wrong.
unidentified
We'll get to that in a moment.
Right now we're talking about the petition that you filed to block Americans from having access to the vaccine and to prevent any future access to the vaccine.
Those facts are on the record.
harrison smith
COVID-19 is not a vaccine.
It is a gene therapy.
They changed the definition of vaccine.
unidentified
Mostly promoting junk science.
In 2021, in a book called The Measles Book, you wrote that parents had been, quote, misled into believing that measles is a deadly disease and that measles vaccines are necessary, safe, and effective.
The reality is measles are, in fact, deadly and highly contagious.
Something.
That you should have learned after your lives contributed to the deaths of 83 people, most of them children, in a measles outbreak in Samoa.
So my question here is- Measles?
harrison smith
RFK Jr. killed 83 children in Samoa because he said measles isn't that dangerous?
Okay.
robert f kennedy-jr
Historically in this country, in 1963, the year before the introduction of the vaccine, was one in 10,000.
Let me explain what happened in Samoa.
In Samoa, in 2017 or 2015, there were two kids who died following the MMR vaccine.
And the vaccination rates in Samoa dropped precipitously from about 63% to the mid-30s, so they've never been very high.
And in 2018, two more kids died following the MMR vaccine, and the government in Samoa banned the MMR vaccine.
I arrived a year later when vaccination rates were already below any previous level.
I went there, nothing to do with vaccines.
I went there to introduce a medical informatics system.
I would digitalize records in Samoa and make health delivery much more efficient.
harrison smith
Oh my God.
Okay, so do you realize what just happened?
Robert Kennedy Jr. showed up to the country of Samoa years after they ended the MMR vaccine because it kept killing children.
So they're putting out the MMR vaccine.
It's killing children.
RFK Jr. shows up for something totally different.
And then Ron Wyden then says, you killed 83 Samoan children, sir.
That's how far they're reaching.
That's how outrageous all this is.
Back to the hearing.
robert f kennedy-jr
If you let me finish, 83 people died.
When the tissue samples were sent to New Zealand, most of those people did not have measles.
We don't know what was killing them.
The same outbreak occurred in Tonga and Fiji, and no extra people died.
There were seven measles outbreaks in the 13 years prior to my arrival.
unidentified
I would like to get my time back.
harrison smith
Wow, destroyed.
Ron Wyden was just utterly eviscerated in that outrageous blood libel.
robert f kennedy-jr
libel.
harrison smith
He just tried to throw it RFK Jr.
Let's hear what else he has to say.
unidentified
...play down his role in Samoa.
That's not what the parents say.
That's not what Governor Green says.
It's time to make sure that we blow the whistle on actually what your views are.
At least we're starting.
harrison smith
Ridiculous lies.
Let's talk about polio.
Let's talk about Bill Gates' vaccine programs that have killed God knows how many people around the world.
unidentified
Anybody who believes that ought to look at the measles book you wrote saying parents have been misled.
They have.
harrison smith
They're still being misled.
We talked about it yesterday.
They're being misled to this day because they're not telling you that the measles outbreaks in America that are happening right now are all from illegal immigrant populations.
They're telling you it's because of anti-vaxxers.
They're the liars, and they wonder why people don't trust them.
chuck grassley
Points to you.
I got about seven I want to quickly get done.
And then...
At the end, I'm going to ask if you disagree with anything I say.
harrison smith
Hold on.
Can we pause it real quick?
Because I want to hear what Chuck Grassley has to say.
But I've got to go over what Ron Wyden just tried to do right there.
First of all, he says, you say you're not anti-vax, but then you say that no vaccine is safe.
That's a contradiction.
That's not a contradiction at all.
I'm not anti-car, but no car is perfectly safe.
Did I contradict myself there?
Absolutely not.
There has been no safety.
There's studies for a vast number.
Pretty much there's never been a vaccine with a fully inclusive years-long safety study.
It doesn't exist.
They get exemptions.
They never have to do these things.
There's no way to say that these are safe.
They have never done the study.
So how could you say that they're safe?
Just because you say, hey, this isn't safe, doesn't mean you are anti that thing.
To say all of my children are vaccinated.
But if I could go back in time, I wouldn't have vaccinated.
What's the contradiction there?
He says, these are contradictions.
Are you lying then or lying now?
Where's the lie?
My kids are vaccinated.
If I could go back in time, I wouldn't have vaccinated them.
What he's saying when he says that is, I had no preconceived notions about vaccines.
I used to trust vaccines.
I gave them to my own children.
My position now is not derived from an anti-vaccine position that I then try to bring in other information to justify.
I was pro-vaccine.
I learned things.
Now I don't trust them as much, and I want there to be safety studies.
None of that's a contradiction.
None of that is a lie.
All of that is perfectly reasonable.
But Ron Rodden is trying to tell you otherwise.
He keeps saying, oh, you're trying to keep the vaccine away from people.
The mRNA injection is not a vaccine.
It never was.
It doesn't function like a vaccine.
It doesn't affect your immune system like a vaccine.
They changed the definition of the word vaccine.
To try to claim that you're an anti-vaxxer if you don't want to try this experimental gene-altering technology that's been deployed worldwide under the guise of a global pandemic that was a lab-created virus released on purpose.
All right, just so we're clear about all of that.
And then he goes on to try to blame RFK Jr. for killing 83 children in Samoa despite the fact that they removed themselves from the MMR vaccines because people kept dying after they were taking it.
I'd love to see him talk to Bill Gates about what he's been up to in places like Indonesia and India.
Ron Wyden, shark-eyed bug person, would know all of this if he had read RFK Jr.'s book where he elucidates all of this in excruciating detail and the true satanic impulse that seems to propel the pharmaceutical companies to inject people with poison regardless of the efficacy of the supposed vaccines they're distributing.
Incredible stuff by RFK Jr. and incredible petulance by Ron Wyden shows you what an important- Move this is by the Trump administration.
Here's Chuck Grassley, American hero.
chuck grassley
Oversight.
Oversight allows us to hold bureaucrats accountable to the rule of law, and it helps keep faith with taxpayers.
I expect HHS to provide timely and complete responses to congressional oversight.
Number two, PBMs.
Something you and I discussed in our office.
I've been working to hold pharmacy benefit managers accountable in order to lower prescription drug prices.
I expect you to work with us to hold PBMs accountable, and that may even ask in your support for legislation that's before the Congress.
Drug pricing.
Senator Durbin and I have, for a while, Been trying to get a bill passed that requires price disclosures on TV ads for prescription drugs.
Knowing what something costs before buying it is just common sense.
President Trump tried to do this by regulation in his first term.
Vice President Vance co-sponsored our bill last Congress.
I ask you to support this bill.
Or if you can do it by regulation, to do it by regulation.
On rural health care, the previous administration dragged its feet in opening up slots for rural community hospital demonstration programs.
It also ignored concerns from rural pharmacies when implementing changes to Medicare Part D and ignored rural needs when it comes to distributing physician residency slots.
I expect you to prioritize rural Americans' health care needs on agriculture.
In our meeting earlier this month, we talked at length about agriculture.
You prefaced the conversation by saying you will not have jurisdiction over these issues.
I expect you to leave agricultural practice regulations to the proper agencies, and for the most part, that's USDA and EPA. On dietary guidelines, I've sent letters to the Secretaries of Agriculture, HHS, requesting that they provide information regarding conflicts of interest on the Dietary Guideline Advisory Committee to increase transparency.
I expect you to provide Congress with confidential financial disclosures from the Advisory Committee before finalizing.
Dietary guidelines, so we know that nobody has a vested interest in it, is having undue influence.
Lastly, HHS, Office of Refugee Resettlement Oversight.
Last year I expanded my investigation into HHS's Office of Refugee Resettlement.
I wrote two dozen contractors and grantees whose job it is to place unaccompanied children with sponsors.
In many cases, children have been placed with improper vented sponsors, placing them at risk of trafficking.
harrison smith
This is interesting because when Alejandro Mayorkas, DHS head, was asked about the missing kids, he blamed HHS. So this is interesting that Grassley's bringing this up right now.
chuck grassley
To not respond to my inquiry.
This is obstruction by the executive branch.
I expect you to produce to me the records and data I've requested and instruct HHS contractors to fully cooperate with my investigation.
I also expect HHS to not retaliate against any whistleblowers, including those who identify OOR's failures in vetting sponsors of unaccompanied.
You got 45 seconds to respond if you want to.
robert f kennedy-jr
I agree with all of those provisions, Senator.
My approach to administration, HHS, will be radical transparency.
If members of this committee or other members of Congress want information, the doors are open.
I've spent many years litigating against NIH and its sub-agencies.
I mean, it's HHS and its sub-agencies, NIH, CDC, FDA, on FOIA issues, trying to get information that we, the taxpayers, paid for and oftentimes getting back redacted copies after a year or two years of litigation.
That should not be the case.
And if Congress asks me for information, you will get it immediately.
chuck grassley
Thank you.
unidentified
Thank you.
Senator Cantwell is next.
But until she returns, I will move on to down the list, and that would be Senator Cornyn.
Mr. Kennedy, welcome to you and your family, and congratulations.
I appreciate Senator Grassley raising the issue of the Office of Refugee Resettlement within the auspices of Health and Human Services.
harrison smith
I hope he brings up how they bring in diseases.
unidentified
But that's actually the responsibility of HHS, the Office of Resettlement Relocation.
Under the previous administration, as Senator Grassley alluded, there were roughly 500,000 children, unaccompanied minors, that were placed with sponsors in the interior of the United States.
The previous administration took the position that it was not the federal government's responsibility once these children were placed with these sponsors.
But the New York Times and a series of investigative stories pointed out that tens of thousands of these children when they tried to follow up and find out how they were doing, whether they were going to school, whether they were being trafficked or abused, there was no answer and they took the position.
It was not their responsibility.
So I look forward to working with you to find those children and to make sure that they're not being abused.
Millions of Americans are experiencing mild to moderate mental health and substance abuse issues, yet many struggle with timely and effective access.
primary care physicians are most likely to be seeing these individuals as opposed to a specialist.
And it makes it important that these individuals, primary care physicians, be trained in patient-centered care, which would strengthen the integration of behavioral health care with primary care services.
Is this something that you are concerned about, something you'd be willing to work with us on in order to implement?
robert f kennedy-jr
Yes, Senator.
Let me just reassure you that President Trump has personally spoken to me about locating those 300,000 children who disappeared over the last four years.
unidentified
I don't think anybody has a fully accurate number, but it's hundreds of thousands, I agree.
robert f kennedy-jr
And many of them we know have been sex trafficked.
And childhood slavery, and it is a blight on America's moral authority, and we need to find those kids.
harrison smith
This is amazing.
robert f kennedy-jr
In terms of addiction services and substance abuse services, this is a priority for me.
It was a priority for me when I was running for president during my campaign.
I was a heroin addict for 14 years.
I've been 42 years in recovery.
I go to 12-step meetings every day, so I hear the stories every day.
And I hear the many stories about the barriers to access to care.
And we need to improve that.
In answer specifically to your question, I think we can do that through GMA, which is a program that is funded by HHS. That is the largest funder for medical school students.
And that's one of the things for primary care physicians should understand addiction care.
Addicts almost always go through a cycle where there is a moment where they hit periodic bottoms where they're ready to go into treatment.
But it's fleeting and it's momentary.
And we have that opportunity to save their lives.
harrison smith
Well, so RFK Jr. was addicted to heroin for 14 years.
I mean, the fact that he overcame it speaks to incredible willpower in and of himself.
But who better to help design programs to get people off drugs than somebody who has gone through it himself and can actually understand it from the inside?
Again, this is the type of thing that it says a lot that Democrats are not...
On RFK Jr.'s side.
This is the type of thing that you would expect liberals and Democrats to be celebrating.
The fact that they're not means that they're mind-controlled.
I mean, it literally means they're mind-controlled.
Now, when it comes to conservatives, everything RFK Jr. has been talking about so far, sounds like he watched the Alex Jones show yesterday.
I mean, we're talking about atrazine, talking about poison in the food and water, mercury in the vaccines, 300,000 missing kids.
I mean, this is, we've taken over.
We have won.
The battle continues.
Let's go back.
unidentified
2.8 million babies were born without HIV. That was something that would not have happened but for the PEPFAR program.
So it has simply been one of the most successful public health programs in the world and saved approximately 26 million lives.
Failure to continue this program, in my view, would risk ceding that leadership to adversaries like China.
And I'd like to know whether you support the objectives and goals of PEPFAR, and would you work with me and my colleagues to make sure that this program continues to provide life-saving antiviral drugs to people who are most in need?
robert f kennedy-jr
I absolutely support PEPFAR, and I will happily work with you to strengthen the program.
unidentified
Thank you.
harrison smith
He just stole a Democratic talking point right out of their hands.
They've been pushing this Peptar thing for a while.
He wants children to die of AIDS. Well, throw that out.
He just defeated that whole talking point.
unidentified
And this committee is being asked to fulfill a really important responsibility, which is to decide whether to confirm Mr. Kennedy to one of the most important health care jobs in America.
And the reason I think it's so important is for many of the reasons you said in your opening statement, which is that we live in the richest country in the world and we have some of the worst health outcomes of any industrialized country in the world.
We live in the richest country in the world and we have some of the lowest life expectancy rates of anybody in the industrialized world.
I was a school superintendent before I was in this job, Mr. Chairman, and I can tell you that Mr. Kennedy's right, you know, that when I look at the kids in the Denver Public Schools, if we don't change the way we eat in this country, 40% of them are going to suffer adult diabetes as a result of their diet.
And we're, as I said, spending more than any other country in the world And our families, every single person's constituents in this Senate are facing chronic shortages when it comes to health care.
My friend from Texas, Senator Cornyn, has been a champion on mental health care.
We have an epidemic, as he knows.
harrison smith
We're going to go to commercial break in about one minute.
We're going to continue to keep an eye on this and keep showing you highlights from this RFK confirmation hearing.
We are going to be joined by Jeffrey Jackson in the 10 o'clock hour.
Can actually talk to a lot of what is happening with RFK Jr. But it's worth it to just think about what the liberal so-called solutions to these problems are so far, especially when you talk about something like addiction.
Look at Portland, Oregon, or Seattle, Washington, or any of the other Democrat-controlled metropolises in America.
They are dens of addiction.
In Austin, Texas, you can't go downtown without seeing somebody just absolutely cracked out on fentanyl, eyes, unfocused, leaned over so far you think they're about to fall, just living in a state of living death in just perpetual misery.
Their solution is to give them more drugs.
Their solution is to provide them with more needles and a safe place to inject themselves.
They're not interested in helping America cure its health problems.
They're interested in making money off of it and facilitating it, actually, when you get right down to it.
So of course they're going to talk about socialized medicine.
We spend more and we have bad outcomes.
The bad outcomes are largely because of the decisions our people make.
And by the way, California alone spends something like $10 billion a year on illegal health alone.
That's the biggest cost when you get right down to it.
Welcome back.
Ladies and gentlemen, this is the American Journal.
I'm your host, Harrison Smith.
The RFK Jr. hearing still is ongoing, and we will get back to that in just a second, and we are collecting clips, and we'll bring you any sparks that fly, any fireworks that go off.
Don't worry.
Stay here and you will not miss them.
I do want to bring on my guest, Jeffrey Jackson.
He is a researcher, investigative journalist, writer, and voice of health freedom on the front lines of society's shift towards higher consciousness.
His new docu-series, Jeffrey Jackson Investigates, is available on High Wire Plus.
And in episode one, Polio, the Founding Myth of Modern Medicine, part one.
Jeffrey tells untold truths about the polio epidemic, unearthing facts, science, and history most of the public has not heard before.
You can find him on X at Jeffrey Jackson, and that's J-A-X-E-N. The series is Jeffrey Jackson Investigates.
You can find his substack at jeffreyjackson.substack.com.
Yeah, let's go ahead and watch this trailer.
This is the trailer for the new series.
That docuseries, again, is Jeffrey Jackson Investigates, and we'll talk to you, Jeffrey, on the other side.

Polio is a highly, highly effective vaccine.
unidentified
And historic victory over a dread disease.
You meet people today, in their 80s, who were limping from childhood polio.
It's good that we don't have that, and vaccines played a major role in that.
I'm grateful that we have the opportunity to have a polio vaccine, but I also want the truth.
We're doing a deeper dive into the historic story of polio.
Polio is a virus.
It's something that's always been in human intestines.
dr suzanne humphries
No matter how remote you go out into the countryside or to remote Indian villages, it's been there.
unidentified
What was this childhood disease?
Where did it come from?
And how can it be treated?
Rockefeller Labs was studying polio.
There's documented gain of function that was going on at Rockefeller Labs.
At this point, we have the rise of the chemist class.
They figured out a new pesticide called lead arsenic.
They're spraying everything with DDT. There was zero concern at the time for toxicity.
What we thought was polio sounds like it was actually an environmental toxin.
Parents lived in fear of polio's sudden attack.
Thousands upon thousands of children and adults fell prey to the crippler.
Would you say this disease had the best PR campaign to date of any disease known a man?
Mass media never existed before this disease reached its peak.
And it would be the March of Dimes.
Give every dime and dollar that you can spare to the 1954 March of Dimes.
The entire nation was mobilized against polio.
The medical system has It has this great invention, and it's an iron lung.
There's that picture that you see with all the iron lungs in the gymnasium.
That was actually a movie set.
They now start looking for a vaccine.
It was so daunting creating a vaccine for a virus they couldn't even see.
There was something called the Cutter Incident.
They weren't careful about their manufacturing standards.
They weren't careful about the testing.
The fact that they were making vaccines with monkey kidney cells, they discovered the presence of SV40, which is a mutation that can cause Polio was caused by both the injected and the oral polio vaccine.
And if you think that they stopped polio, you should realize that the total cases from the year 2000 to 2017 of acute plastic paralysis in India is 653,000.
Polio will exist, whether we like it or not, forever.
Failed regulatory oversight, contaminated vaccines, causing massive harm and even death.
Imagine if the American people were told the truth.
Would we have had better regulatory guardrails going into the COVID response?
Everybody will say, well, what about polio?
And even parents that don't want to vaccinate their kids.
The one vaccine they gave, polio.
So, let's talk about polio.
harrison smith
Jeffrey Jackson Investigates series premiered in December.
It's exclusively on High Wire Plus.
Jeffrey Jackson joins me now.
Jeffrey, thank you for coming on.
Very good timing, RFK Jr. being grilled about these topics in particular.
Have you been able to watch any of it?
unidentified
Harrison, thank you so much for having me on right now.
I'm actually sitting in the Heritage Foundation right down the road from the...
From the hearing, we're in the overflow spots here with the parents.
People lined up, obviously, we saw early in the morning to get into those hearings, parents and people to support RFK Jr. This is a flashpoint, and you can see it just like it was a flashpoint here in D.C. when Trump was inaugurated and everyone rushed.
I mean, there was lines out the door the night before, like a concert.
So, yeah, RFK Jr., I mean, this is clearly the story of the day right now, and moving forward, Tulsi Gabbard on Thursday, and RFK Jr. It's very exciting stuff.
harrison smith
I'm sorry to interrupt.
We've got to take a 60-second commercial break.
We'll be back in one minute, folks.
Don't go anywhere.
Welcome back, folks.
This is the American Journal.
I'm your host, Harrison Smith.
Jeffrey Jackson is my guest.
He's a researcher, investigative journalist, writer, and voice for health freedom.
His new docuseries is available on High Wire Plus.
Episode 1 is about polio.
Of course, polio.
When you think polio, you think polio vaccine.
And, of course, that is very pertinent now with RFK Jr. being grilled by Congress.
Strangely enough, Democrats in what was his own party at one point.
You know, calling him an anti-vaxxer.
Pro-vaccine protesters actually interrupting the proceedings.
Jeffrey Jackson can be found on X at Jeffrey Jackson.
That's J-A-X-E-N and JeffreyJackson.substack.com.
You've been watching the RFK hearing.
How do you think it's going so far?
I mean, it seems like they're really getting to the heart of the healthcare issues in this country.
The fact that they're talking about mRNA, so-called vaccines that aren't vaccines at all, but getting to the, you know, real root of the problem with...
Chronic diseases being an outcome of the lifestyle and the corporate poisoning of our food supply.
I mean, what would you grade RFK Jr. so far on in just the first few minutes of this hearing for confirmation?
unidentified
I would give him a really high grade because here's the thing.
These conversations have been so gatekept.
The conversations around vaccine safety, the conversations around food, conflicts of interest in regulatory agencies.
So really, the more he can speak, the more he's educating the public.
So it's a win.
And that's what he's been doing.
He leveraged the podcasters and the content creators to put him in a position, as did Trump, put him in a position where they're populist, this populist movement.
And these are basic ideas.
These are things that should not be obviously partisan.
Wanting better safety studies for medications and vaccines.
Wanting people to have better choices for food.
Wanting to look at how to keep people healthy before they get diseases instead of just bringing them into this disease.
This paradigm, this combine, this medical-industrial complex.
So I think he's doing good, and I think the more he can speak, the better.
And this, you know, for people out there watching, this is the Senate Committee on Finance.
So they're going to be talking mostly about, like, the Medicare, the Medicaid, the money.
How are we going to finance these things?
Obviously, they're taking jabs at him.
But tomorrow is the Senate Health, Education, Labor, and Pension Committee.
That's over the CDC, HHS, NIH. So you're going to see probably some really deep shots at that committee as well.
And obviously, it kicks out to the Senate for that simple majority vote.
It does have a Republican majority of 53 seats to the 47 Democrats.
So this is going to be something that, you know, if it's party line, it should be good.
But Kennedy and Gabbert, you know, these are the two really big steps.
These are the thrusters.
When I saw Trump, Trump is like the rocket that went up.
And then when these thrusters go away, the next thrusting boost is Gabbert and RFK Jr. And that can bring really, if we're talking about a golden age.
This is where it heads in America.
And so I think he's doing great.
And the public support is unlike anything I've ever seen.
So the people that are really trying to give him a hard time in this, purposely with what they call misinformation, because they're hoping the public is stupid and not doing their own research, they're going to have a hard time moving forward as far as keeping their seats.
I really do think this, because the public is done with this.
This is an idea whose time...
harrison smith
And there's so much that has contributed to that.
Obviously, COVID was a giant wake-up call for a lot of people.
The failures of the COVID vaccine now basically admitted not only doesn't stop you from getting the virus, actually makes you more likely to get the virus and makes it more severe once you get it.
I mean, this is acknowledged now in mainstream publications.
They just usually leave that out when they're trying to call RFK Jr. an anti-vaxxer.
But this really is an existential...
Crisis for the powers that be, right?
I mean, you can't have RFK Jr. going in there and talking about these chronic diseases, including mental illnesses.
I mean, what they want is, you know, enforced vaccinations, government-run healthcare where they can cut you off if you don't obey them.
I mean, we've seen the outcome in places like Canada and the UK where they prioritize immigrants and the natives are, you know, often left to die on, you know, waiting in line before ever being seen by a doctor.
Why is this an existential threat for the system?
And what does the system rely on that's a threat right now?
Vaccines, but what else?
Can you elaborate a little on that?
unidentified
Yeah, I mean, it's simply America has lived under really a command and control medical system.
And anybody that's been through the ringer of a medical system has went through the hospital, has received the bills for the hospital.
You know, if you don't have an advocate there, you're getting a lot of people were vaccinated against their will, especially during COVID. So you have this command and control system, and it's built on not...
The people, it's built by the people.
It's built on big money, corporate interests, and pharmaceutical company interests, and those are primary.
People are secondary, and people's health are actually prioritizing their health before they get into this disease cycle with better food, with choice, with their medicines.
They want to put their body, bodily autonomy.
This is not...
Something that America has prioritized.
And we saw the lengths it went during COVID. So COVID was kind of a test run.
Can we have vaccine passports?
Can we gatekeep people due to their medical status, vaccination status, whatever status?
In the UK, we're seeing Ozempic being tested out on unemployed people that are overweight.
There's actually a test running right now from their health minister, and he's greenlighting that, saying this is great.
So you're seeing this next step.
If a drug comes out and the government can save money by forcing it or mandating it on people, they will do that with the excuse of, well, this is going to save us money.
It's for the greater good.
And we saw that.
Unfortunately, there's so many parents and mothers and fathers that have been the recipient of the greater good conversation with their vaccine-injured kids.
And that is really—I've been tracking this conversation, reporting on it for a decade.
Kennedy has been a big part of that.
That's all he's been— We need better safety testing.
We need to actually acknowledge these parents instead of gaslighting them and neutralizing them in the media.
And now that media does not have the gatekeepers it used to, now that it's kind of wide open, you and I can talk about these things and get more views than CNN would ever dream to and open more minds than CNN would want to close.
This is also the big problem.
If RFK gets in the position he wants to get in and does simple things that he's talking about, very simple Common sense things, which a lot of the medical community does support.
This is going to revolutionize the entire world.
And like he said, people that are sick have only one dream, which is to get better.
People that are healthy have a thousand dreams.
So think about the possibilities there.
harrison smith
Absolutely.
And that was actually the last question I was going to ask you.
A lot of people boil this down to money.
Obviously, money is a big driver of it.
It's a big component of all of this, but it's about more than money, isn't it?
I mean, obviously, they do things in order to make money.
The pharmaceutical companies go out of their way to make as much money as possible.
Nobody's denying that.
The insurance companies are involved in it as well.
But that quote struck me as well, because when you have somebody who's unhealthy, who just wants to get better, they're not out there protesting.
They're not making a change.
They're not getting involved in their community.
They're just...
Trying to survive.
And it's almost like that would be the ideal situation for the powers that be if all of America was just was like on an iron lung.
Like they want them alive but just not capable of doing anything.
Talk a little bit about just the real purpose behind some of these scams like vaccines and some of the medical interventions that are being pushed these days.
Is it all about money or is there a wider and larger and more all-encompassing agenda at play here?
unidentified
I think it has to do with individually, where people are ready to assimilate this information.
So for some people, they look and say, well, look at all the profit they're making.
Clearly, they're choosing profits over people.
But then when you go a little deeper, it depends on really how far you want to dig, how far people can accept.
It's really about controlling public consciousness and controlling the consciousness of the individual.
So how do you do that?
Well, the monetary system is a great way to do that.
You tax them, keep people working on a job that they feel like they have to do and they can't expand their creativity.
But the medical system is a great way to do that.
There's a lot of other ways to do that.
You put things in food.
I mean, it can't be a coincidence that fluoride is actually a neurotoxin that lowers children's IQ.
It just so happens to do that.
You have the BPA with fertility.
There's a lot of coincidences.
And, I mean, even now we have NextGen.
We're talking psychotronic weaponry.
We're talking electromagnetic frequencies.
I mean, this whole thing, artificial intelligence.
I'm doing some research.
They just figured out a way, these Korean scientists have just figured out a way how to control the brains of mice remotely using magnetogenetics.
So what they're doing is they're not able to touch them.
They can control.
There's social ability.
They can control their nurturing with their pups.
They can control a lot of different things.
So this is all next-generation stuff.
The FDA, there's a bill that's right now going through.
It doesn't look like it may pass, but the FDA wants to bring AI in so it can make decisions for you as your doctor.
So Kennedy, in my opinion, needs to be in this position because...
What's coming down the line?
We know it has happened, or a lot of people are waking up to that.
But what's coming down the line?
You're going to need leadership in there that's not just going to rubber stamp these things.
We're talking, again, about the public consciousness.
And, you know, I will say really quick, when you mentioned COVID, COVID was that beta test.
In that aspect, because you had the UK using literally their army psyops to scare the public.
And they said, whoops, we scared the public a little too much.
I mean, people died because of what they did, because of the psychological operation.
So similar things clearly were happening in the US with the media combine on board with that.
But when I looked at COVID, I looked back in the history books and went, wait a minute, polio was the same response.
It was literally the same.
In response, they had the same PR. They had the same race for the vaccine.
There was two vaccines.
The difference was very small.
A year ago, I embarked on this documentary to show the founding myth of modern medicine, as it was said by Forrest Moretti, who's in there.
This is really where people have to go, because after COVID, like you said, people are waking up, but the conversation I keep hearing is, okay, yeah, that was a disaster, but what about polio?
You're not going to tell me the polio vaccine didn't save the world and reinvent medicine.
harrison smith
That's the thing.
That's the thing about this.
I mean, this is one of those rabbit holes where you start going down and you've got hundreds of years of information to catch up on.
It truly is astonishing.
And, you know, it is one of the biggest open doors for people to come over to our side.
I'd say, like, when you talk to people, the two things I hear the most are, like, Hollywood stuff.
Like, people start seeing symbolism in movies and rap songs.
And that sort of leads them to go, well, what's all this about?
And then they realize, you know, the hidden secrets going on.
But even more than that is people learning about what's in their food, learning about the platform.
The plastics in the food and water.
This has become exponential over the last few years.
Glad to see people are waking up to this, and now it's even being discussed during a confirmation hearing on the Senate floor.
This is monumental, revolutionary advancements in the information war, and you're there on the forefront of it.
Jeffrey Jackson, thank you so much for joining us on X at Jeffrey Jackson, substack, jeffreyjackson.substack.com, and Jackson is spelled J-A-X-E-N. The docu-series, I encourage everybody to watch, is called Jeffrey Jackson Investigates.
It's on High Wire Plus.
In episode one, you get into that.
Polio, the founding myth of modern medicine.
Very powerful stuff.
Thank you so much for joining us today, sir.
unidentified
Thank you, Harrison.
harrison smith
My pleasure.
And we've been monitoring the entire time.
The crew has been on the ball and clipping things out of the RFK junior hearing right now.
So we're going to continue to monitor this live hearing for...
RFK Jr., who has been nominated as the HHS secretary.
So far, the discussion's gotten into vaccines.
It's gotten into healthcare overall.
It's also gotten into the missing 300,000 children.
After all, it was DHS head Alejandro Mayorkas, who, when asked about the missing children, said, that's not my problem.
I gave that to HHS. RFK Jr., one of the most powerful statements so far in this hearing has been he is all about full transparency.
He is going to bring a culture of transparency to HHS because they get away with stuff because they do it all behind closed doors.
He, of course, literally wrote the book on NIH and HHS and the manipulations of Anthony Fauci.
The book, The Real Anthony Fauci, is a must-read for anybody interested in this topic.
Let's go back to RFK Jr. here in the...
I do want to remind you, by the way, before we do that, you've got to be taking care of your own health.
We always have a dual approach to this topic in particular with InfoWars.
Yes, we want to see people like RFK Jr. get confirmed and make major systemic changes in the way that our healthcare system works in the United States.
At that same time, and not in a mutually exclusive way, you need to be taking care of your own health.
You need to be taking personal, individual, and...
Lower-level interventions of your own to avoid the poisoning, avoid the toxic chemicals in your food and water, whether that's filtering water, filtering air, and especially making up for the denuded nutrients in our soil and our foods by supplementing.
Get the incredible supplements on sale right now at thealexjonesstore.com.
Things like the incredible Irish Sea Moss that is so jam-packed with just everything you could possibly need, vitamins and minerals.
The list hardly even fits on the label.
That's Ultimate CMOS, the capsules, or the gummies now available at thealexjonesstore.com.
It keeps us in the air and in the fight.
And of course, this is in a way a major triumph for Alex Jones and Infowars as we have been on the forefront and compelling this conversation for decades at this point.
And finally, we're seeing major change and we're seeing the...
All of this, all of our outrage come to fruition with the appointment of RFK Jr., who promises to be a champion of the people against the entrenched interests that are poisoning and killing us in a variety of different ways.
Here's RFK Jr. being questioned right now.
unidentified
Thank you.
It's good to see you again.
We had some great visits in my office.
We've done some follow-up calls to be able to go through.
You and I have talked about.
A hundred different issues and backgrounds and things.
You've been able to address a lot of them today and just different questions to be able to clear up social media rumors and the things that are out there on it.
So I do appreciate that.
We've talked about pharmacy benefit managers.
We've talked about the nursing home rule the Biden administration put down.
We've talked about your views on agriculture and commercial and row crop agriculture.
We've talked about food issues, and you've made it very, very clear you're not going to tell Americans what to eat, but you do want Americans to know what they're eating.
And I think that's a pretty fair perspective on that.
I do want to talk to you about some areas that you and I have talked about as well.
We have some disagreements, you and I, on the issue of life.
And when life begins on that, you've been very outspoken on that.
And we've had some good opportunities to be able to talk about that.
Title X is specifically in the HHS area.
This has been an area that has been interpreted for a long time.
And President Trump in the first administration interpreted that rule to say that his administration will prohibit the performance, referral for, or promotion of abortion as a part of the Title X. The Biden administration not only reversed that, that and only rescinded that rule, but they went one step the other direction.
In my state in Oklahoma, as you and I have talked about, the Biden administration cut off funding to the state of Oklahoma for AIDS testing, for breast cancer screening and for other areas of poverty, health care, because my state didn't promote abortion.
It wouldn't provide.
If my state wouldn't promote abortion in the state, we got cut off for federal funds.
For AIDS testing and for other things.
My simple question to you is, how are you going to handle Title 10 on that?
I saw how President Biden handled that in the punitive measures that came on my state for those that are in rural health care.
How are you going to handle Title 10?
robert f kennedy-jr
I'm going to support President Trump's policies on Title 10. I agree with President Trump that every abortion is a tragedy.
I agree with him that we cannot be a moral nation if we have 1.2 million abortions a year.
I agree with him that the states should control abortion.
President Trump has told me that he wants to end late-term abortions, that he wants to protect conscience exemptions, and that he wants to end...
Federal funding for abortions here abroad.
That's Title X. I serve at the pleasure of the president.
I'm going to implement his policies.
unidentified
Thank you for that.
james lankford
President Biden, when he came in, immediately closed down the Office of Civil Rights and Conscience Protections within HHS. There's a statement that's come out recently that he's going to reopen that office again to be able to protect the civil rights of Americans.
unidentified
One of the things that Javier Becerra did immediately when he came into HHS was conscience protections.
For medical professionals that were being compelled against their conscience to perform medical procedures that violated their conscience, Javier Becerra stepped in immediately into HHS and withdrew that and said, no, the federal government will tell you what you believe about these issues.
You don't have conscience protections anymore and refuse to protect those folks.
Will you step in and say that healthcare individuals have the right of conscience again, as the federal law allows?
robert f kennedy-jr
Yeah, I mean, the first thing that occurs to me when you ask that The question is what patient would want somebody doing a surgery on them that believes that the surgery is against their conscience, being forced to perform that.
I don't know anybody who would want to have a doctor performing a surgery that the doctor is morally opposed to.
Listen, I came from a family that was split on life and choice.
I have cousins today who believe that abortion at any stage is equivalent to homicide.
Now, there are other people who believe the opposite.
But the good thing in my family that I really loved is that we were able to have those conversations and respect each other.
And I wish that we could do that nationally.
And if forcing somebody to participate in a medical procedure as a provider that they believe is murder does not make any sense to me.
We need to welcome diversity in this country.
We need to respect diversity and we need to respect each other.
harrison smith
You like diversity so much, then why don't you let some Catholics run things every once in a while?
unidentified
Thank you for that.
harrison smith
That's very powerful stuff.
It's amazing the number of other topics that intersect with healthcare.
We're talking about abortion.
We've talked about COVID, obviously, and the lockdown procedures.
When it gets to the question of conscience, I mean, what's happening in the medical community today?
And I hope they get to this at some point in this hearing or the confirmation hearing that we'll extend into tomorrow.
I hope they talk about the fact that DEI is still prevalent in American hospitals and medical schools.
They are actually messing with the application of medicine and the ability of doctors to treat people on the basis of DEI paradigms.
As to the fact that I was refused medicine for COVID because I was white.
And they told me that in no uncertain terms.
And I filmed them do it.
And eventually it led to a law passing in Oregon.
But they're still doing this all over the country.
We have to, you know.
Equity in healthcare, because white people are just too healthy, so we need to put more resources towards non-white people and deny white people healthcare, because they're privileged already, and they don't need life-saving care.
We've seen this implemented in places like the UK, where people who live in the UK, UK citizens, are put second, and priority is given to migrants who don't live there.
When you talk about controlling the medical system, it's already being controlled to a great degree.
It's already having these interference programs run on it to prevent doctors from being able to simply do what they're supposed to do, which is the most simple and necessary thing in the world.
And we've had the Hippocratic Oath since like 1000 BC that tells us what the morality is that should guide our medical care system, our healthcare system throughout.
The last couple of decades, that's all been inverted and disrupted and destroyed to the point where now medical interventions- Are being limited because you didn't take the vaccine or because you're not the right skin color or not the right gender.
Meanwhile, they're expediting and funding with millions of dollars elective surgeries to castrate children and leave them permanently disabled because they've been indoctrinated into a mental illness via their elementary school.
I mean, the problems with the healthcare system are so massive and overwhelming at this point.
And it's destroying something that is...
The actual arbiter of life and death, like when you have DEI or AI algorithms that are being programmed to make decisions, when these things are being implemented in the justice system, the military, the healthcare system, this is no longer just, oh, liberal purple-haired activists are saying crazy things on college campus.
No, this is a matter of life and death.
This is a matter of whether you live or die, whether you get the medicine you need or are excluded from treatment.
This needs to come up in this hearing or the next because that's the real biggest threat to the medical system right now.
But it gets into what goes into our food and water and what the purpose of the programs now being implemented truly are.
Do you think the people that are setting up safe injection sites for homeless people, do they really care about the homeless people?
Do the doctors delivering artificially or assisted suicide in Canada, are they really doing it for the health and well-being of their citizens?
It's turning into a death cult, and we have to reverse that.
Welcome back, ladies and gentlemen.
This is the American Journal.
RFK Jr. is going toe-to-toe with the system as we speak, delivering massive blows in a variety of different topics so far, abortion and chronic diseases and mental illness, ADHD, rising depression rates, addiction, so much.
You know, meets at this intersection of health and government.
And let me just show you a few articles here before we go back to the hearing that's going on right now.
Just to give you some context for some of the stuff I've been saying during all of this.
Free health care for illegal immigrants could cost California billions per year.
Newly elected state law providing free health care for illegal immigrants residing in California could cost taxpayers between $3 billion and $6 billion per year.
According to recent estimates, of course, we've seen entire hospitals go bankrupt in places like Denver because of the influx of immigrants who we have to pay for their health care.
Get rid of the immigrants.
Suddenly, you know, the money that we're spending on health care gets massively downsized and we can actually get some good results.
Meanwhile, the Democrats are hyper focused on, you know, trying to get government in control of health care.
Here's what happens when that takes place.
Inside the priority NIH. NHS Services for Migrants is in the UK who, you know, the NHS is their pride and joy.
And he talks about how it's not an unusual sight in Britain.
Official NHS figures reveal at least one in four people had to wait more than four hours to be seen at an ER in November.
More than 45,000 patients were delayed longer than 12 hours.
So if you...
Don't like having to wait 12 hours to be seen during an emergency.
Maybe don't give up your rights to health care to your government.
Meanwhile, you can get assessed in 15 minutes if you are an undocumented migrant or a homeless drug addict.
So if you're a homeless drug addict, you get seen right away.
If you're an undocumented migrant from God knows where, you get seen in 15 minutes.
If you're a UK citizen, if you're a person whose family's been there for 10,000 years, you have to wait 12 hours and you might die.
Meanwhile, assisted dying now accounts for 1 in 20 deaths in Canada.
1 in 20 deaths in Canada are of people who are murdered by the hospital because it's cheaper.
For things like being too poor or being sad.
And they're even trying to get that to, I forget how they phrase it, something like mature minors because they really want to kill children who are...
You know, depressed at the fact that they're constantly bombarded with insane nonsense that literally drives them crazy.
So let's go back to this hearing.
But again, when you talk about health care, you're not just talking about, you know, your typical thing you think of with doctors' offices and vaccines, that it's really when you get down to what's happening in our country and the way that the powers that be are trying to control people, health care is at the center of all of it.
Let's go back to the hearing now.
maggie hassan
I am extremely concerned that as secretary, you would be able to halt critical vaccine research and to exploit parents' natural worries by advising them not to vaccinate their children.
This will lead to more children getting sick.
harrison smith
They don't do the research to vaccines, and the fear factor is used exclusively to compel parents to get vaccines.
maggie hassan
That's obvious.
This is too much of a risk for our country, and there is no reason that any of us should believe that you have reversed the anti-vaccine views that you have promoted for 25 years.
For example, you have previously falsely suggested that the polio vaccine killed many, many, many, many more people than polio ever did by causing fatal cancers, while rigorous safety studies show that to be completely false.
harrison smith
It's absolutely true.
Tainted vaccines were sold off to third-world countries by Bill Gates.
You've got to read his book, real Anthony Fauci.
He lays it out there, all the proof you need.
They've never read this.
They're lying.
maggie hassan
In your own words, it's not the government's place to tell people what to do with their bodies.
You said that, correct?
harrison smith
My body, my choice, lady.
maggie hassan
Mr. Kennedy, in 2023, you came to New Hampshire and said, quote, I'm pro-choice.
I don't think the government has any business telling people what they can or cannot do with their body.
So you said that, right?
unidentified
Yeah, okay.
maggie hassan
But you also said we need to trust the women to make that choice because I don't trust government to make any choices.
You said that too, right?
robert f kennedy-jr
Yes.
maggie hassan
It is remarkable that you have such a long record of fighting for women's reproductive freedom, and really great that my Republican colleagues are so open to voting for a pro-choice HHS secretary.
So, Mr. Kennedy, I'm confused.
You have clearly stated in the past that bodily autonomy is one of your core values.
The question is, do you stand for that value or not?
When was it that you decided to sell out the values you've had your whole life in order to be given power by President Trump?
robert f kennedy-jr
Senator, I agree with President Trump that every abortion is a tragedy, that we can't be a moral authority in this country.
maggie hassan
But that isn't what you said back in New Hampshire in 2023. My question is exactly when did you decide to sell out your life's work and values to get this position?
robert f kennedy-jr
Senator, I agree with President Trump that every abortion is a tragedy.
maggie hassan
So what you're telling us, just to be clear, because my time is limited.
harrison smith
This used to be the boilerplate Democratic belief.
maggie hassan
Regardless of what values you have.
harrison smith
Safe and rare is what they used to always say.
maggie hassan
If President Trump tells you to do something, you're going to do it.
You said just now the discussion about Mifepristone.
Oh, he's asked me to study the safety of it.
Here are the safety studies that tell us Mifepristone is safe and effective.
And I asked Mr. Chair that these about 40 studies be admitted to the record by unanimous consent.
unidentified
Without objection.
maggie hassan
So the studies are there.
The safety is proved.
The science is there.
But what you're telling us is if President Trump orders you to take action to make it harder for women to get direly needed health care, you'll follow his order.
As he did yesterday, orders a halt on Medicaid payments that are essential.
harrison smith
Didn't happen, man.
All they have are lies.
The Democrats are absolutely flailing right now.
They have absolutely nothing on this guy.
maggie hassan
You're going to follow that order because you are willing to sacrifice your values, your knowledge, if President Trump tells you to do that.
That, to me, is unacceptable in a Secretary of Health and Human Services.
harrison smith
What are they talking about?
robert f kennedy-jr
As I explained before, the White House.
has issued a statement saying that that policy will not deprive any American benefits.
maggie hassan
The problem is the White House issued that statement only after we pointed out the damage it would do and it became politically uncomfortable for them.
You know what else that freeze on federal funding did?
It halted funds for critical research that could cure pediatric cancer.
harrison smith
Oh, my God.
Oh, my God.
They stopped the cure for cancer coming out.
They have nothing.
They're, like, flailing and, like, trying to be righteous.
But it's like, you said you like bodily autonomy, but you also say that about abortion.
It's like, yeah, that's totally consistent.
What are they even pretending to be mad about?
They have literally nothing.
This is going very poorly for them.
I love to see it.
unidentified
And your belief.
And you've spent years really talking about the issues that matter to you.
And I appreciate that.
Let me ask you a couple of questions, though I just need some clarification.
Right now there's a 40-year-old law that requires hospital ERs accepting payment from Medicare to actually provide emergency care to patients.
So let's say a woman experiencing a life-threatening condition like a heart attack goes to the ER. As a lawyer, you would agree that that federal law protects her right to emergency care, correct?
robert f kennedy-jr
Yes.
unidentified
So now, a pregnant woman with life-threatening bleeding from an incomplete miscarriage goes to the ER. Let me rephrase that so you can hear.
A pregnant woman with a life-threatening bleeding from an incomplete miscarriage goes to the ER. And her doctor also determines that she needs an emergency abortion.
But she's in a state where abortion is banned.
You would agree also as an attorney that federal law protects the right to that emergency care, correct?
robert f kennedy-jr
I don't know.
I mean, the answer to that is I don't know.
unidentified
Well, let me ask you this as an attorney.
Doesn't federal law preempt state law?
robert f kennedy-jr
The federal constitution does.
Sometimes not every federal law.
Preempt state laws.
It could be unconstitutional.
unidentified
I'm not trying to be evasive, Senator.
robert f kennedy-jr
I'm just telling you I don't answer that question.
unidentified
I appreciate that.
But what authority do you have over this as the director of HHS? What authority do I have?
Yeah, to enforce the law.
robert f kennedy-jr
In what regards?
unidentified
To make sure that a hospital that receives payment from Medicare is ensuring that they're...
They have a duty to render care.
harrison smith
That's always a thing.
They're coming up with hypotheticals that have never existed.
robert f kennedy-jr
I have budgetary power and it's pretty much limited to that.
But if you tell me I have another authority, I don't even think that.
unidentified
Well, let me tell you, you do.
robert f kennedy-jr
We have a law enforcement branch at HHS. Actually, you do.
unidentified
And that's CMS. CMS actually investigates complaints of Intala violations, as well as the Health and Human Services Inspector General, who, by the way, was just recently fired by Donald Trump.
So you will be enforcing Intala laws.
And it's important that you understand their impact and don't play politics with the patient presenting at the ER based on a position that this administration has taken.
Let me ask you another question.
When we met in my office, you said about lowering drug prices that when big pharma price gouges, the American people suffer.
I think we both agree on that.
And I think you're sincere in your belief that you want to reduce prices for Americans, correct?
robert f kennedy-jr
Yes.
unidentified
Yeah.
The Inflation Reduction Act empowered Medicare to negotiate prescription drug prices.
It penalizes drug companies for price hikes above inflation.
And it caps seniors' out-of-pocket drug costs, along with reducing insulin prices to $35 per month.
But your future boss, Donald Trump, On his first day in office, revoked President Biden's executive order that actually directed the health secretary to examine ways to reduce drug prices and improve access to innovative therapies for the American people.
And, unfortunately, Republicans in Congress want to repeal the Inflation Reduction Act.
Which means reversing all of those things that we worked on to lower prices for Americans.
So my question to you is, what do you do?
Why are you there?
Are you there to be a rubber stamp to this administration and cave into all of these positions that they're taking, even though you know they're in disagreement with your positions on lowering drug prices and that they could harm Americans?
How do you handle that as HHS director?
robert f kennedy-jr
Senator, my understanding is that the White House issued an executive order, I believe today, supporting the drug negotiations under the IRA. President Trump was very aggressive during his first term about negotiating drug prices.
He has instructed me, and I've met with him repeatedly, as though we need lower prices than seniors in this country.
unidentified
So let me ask you this, because I only have so much time.
harrison smith
Well, that didn't work, so let me do something else.
unidentified
We've already negotiated lowering prices for 10 drugs.
harrison smith
Well, I got destroyed in that exchange, so let me try something else here.
unidentified
They have not only are asking for a pause, they have filed lawsuits, but we've already negotiated the first 10 drugs.
And we want to expand it to the next 10 to 15 that the Biden administration has put forward.
Would you agree and continue that path of...
of really mandating that Big Pharma come to the table and negotiate.
Drug prices for Medicare so we can lower those prices for Americans?
robert f kennedy-jr
My understanding is that the executive order that was issued today, which I haven't seen, but I've read a summary of- Well, let me ask you this then, because you keep citing the Trump administration and you're just gonna follow what they say.
harrison smith
Is that what you're doing?
unidentified
You're just a rubber stamp for them in this position?
harrison smith
And by the way, what a joke it is for these people to act like they care about big pharma profits.
As if they weren't the ones who wanted us dying if we didn't take the newest vaccine eight times every two months for the rest of our lives.
As if they aren't the ones who are allowing the gender mutilation of children that puts them in a lifelong constant cycle of needing medical intervention.
As if these people aren't serving the pharmaceutical industry with everything they do in every possible way.
This is such a gigantic joke.
And by the way, he's a Democrat.
His position has always been more- You know, towards the Democrat than the Republican one in the traditional paradigm.
He is the one setting the agenda for Trump's health care.
He is the one advising Trump as to what position to take.
They're acting like he's a lackey.
It is the complete inversion.
These people are operating on a game we're not playing anymore.
They're still playing Monopoly.
We've moved on.
We're on Settlers of Catan.
We're having a lot more fun.
These people are still acting like It's 1990 or something, and the person they're arguing against is some big pharma shill that Trump put in place because he's greedy.
It's RFK Jr. He's the pharmaceutical company's worst nightmare.
What are you talking about?
Let's go back to RFK Jr. He's just eviscerating them over and over.
robert f kennedy-jr
...the highest chronic disease burden of any country in the world.
We had, during COVID... We had 16% of the COVID deaths in a country.
We only have 4.2% of the world's population.
We had a higher death count than any country in the world.
And when CDC was asked why, they said it's because Americans are the sickest people on earth.
The average person who died from COVID, American, had 3.8 chronic diseases.
This is an existential threat economically to our military, to our health, to our sense of well-being.
And it is a priority for President Trump.
And that's why he asked me to run the agency.
And if I'm privileged to be confirmed, that's exactly what I'll do.
harrison smith
Whoa, an applause break.
RFK Jr. just got an applause break during your confirmation hearing.
I've never seen that before.
unidentified
Prior to today's hearing to talk about a lot of the important issues affecting health care in my home state of Wyoming as well as the nation.
I appreciate your willingness to serve our country.
During our meeting, we discussed the challenges that healthcare providers and patients are facing in rural America.
Financial obstacles facing rural hospitals, workforce shortages, issues of OBGYN, and then new regulations that are painful that have come out of the Biden administration, hurting our ability to provide nursing home staffing.
So let me start, if I could, with rural hospitals and the closures of hospitals like that.
There are a lot of challenges facing hospitals in rural communities and frontier areas.
Hospitals in Wyoming, 26 are really located in various locations, often hard to get to.
Weather impacts them.
Six of the hospitals are at risk of closing.
Two are at immediate risk of closing in the next two years.
Ten have had to cut available services.
And this is a concern of rural hospitals in both Republican and Democrat states.
Either way, bipartisan.
Critical that the workforce challenges, financial challenges that we're facing are addressed.
Can you commit to working with us on a plan to address the critical nationwide issue of rural health care?
robert f kennedy-jr
Yes, Senator.
And I would say that during my visits, I visited almost 60 senators so far.
And the most common...
The unifying, I would say, issue among both Democrats and Republicans, there were two.
One was BBM reform, and the other is rural hospitals.
And, you know, our nation made a commitment over 100 years ago to put a hospital within 30 miles of every American.
We generally succeeded in doing that.
It's absolutely critical.
It's lifesaving.
And rural hospitals are closing at an extraordinary rate right now.
They not only provide important healthcare for the localities, but also they're economic drivers for localities all over this country.
President Trump is determined to end the hemorrhage of rural hospitals, and he's asked me to do that.
Through the use of AI, through telemedicine, which these are innovations that I saw the other day.
Cleveland Clinic has developed an AI nurse that you cannot distinguish from a human being that has diagnostics as good as any doctor.
And we can develop, we can provide.
Concierge care to every American in this country, even the remote parts of Wyoming, Montana, Alaska, etc.
We also have opportunities at HRSA and at the GME to finally live up to GME's mission of providing personnel to rural hospitals.
And I intend to use all of my power because I've seen the The priority that is given by both Democrats and Republicans on this committee, I intend to make that a priority if I'm privileged to be confirmed.
unidentified
Well, I appreciate it, because often with financial strains on a local hospital, one of the common services to be cut.
In rural hospitals and maternity services.
So now we have women in Wyoming having to drive over 100 miles to access care.
13 counties in Wyoming don't have access to OB. And we're talking counties larger than the states of Vermont, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, Connecticut, New Jersey, Delaware.
harrison smith
As Democrats in a lot of ways.
But like, how does nobody see?
When it comes to the Democrats, they're just, they're lying.
They're bringing up stuff that doesn't matter.
Talking about shutdown of Medicaid that never actually happened.
When RFK tries to answer, they cut him off.
They're just trying to score points.
They're just trying to get some sort of talking point, some sort of clip that CNN can play to go, Mr. Kennedy really struggled here.
They don't actually care.
And then it gets to the Republicans.
They're like, how are we going to deal with this?
How are we going to deal with this?
We've got these rural problems.
They actually seem like they care.
Even though...
RFK Jr. is a Democrat.
Even though he's pro-abortion, even though we disagree on these things, the Republicans actually care about solving these problems.
Democrats just genuinely don't.
They genuinely do not care about the American people, and that much is obvious.
What they care about is subjecting the American people to different levels of control so they can manipulate them through their health care.
They want everybody on government health care so they can cut you off if you misbehave, so they can have your social credit score, determine how long you wait at the ER.
And so they can have their own private hospitals where they can access with their millions of dollars.
But the average person will be stuck with the hospital experience equivalent to going to the DMV, completely failing everywhere.
This has been absolutely incredible.
By the way, meanwhile, the private industry of health care is absolutely exploding and doing incredibly well.
I mean, the growth of urgent care clinics in cities around this country, they didn't exist when I was a kid.
Now there's one every two blocks.
I don't live near a hospital, but I probably live within a mile of five urgent care clinics that have...
Most of the capabilities of any hospital.
I mean, the healthcare system in private hands has shown the ability to adapt, to change, to scale down for different, you know, uses.
It can be planted within, you know, a Walgreens or a CVS can have a little, you know, clinic right there.
You don't need to build an entire hospital for it.
There are solutions to this available.
They don't come from the government.
They come from private industry.
By the way, places in San Francisco, places in California are now not just food deserts because anybody selling food there gets robbed and the insurance goes up and they can't afford it and have to leave and then everybody cries about how there's no food.
Now there are health care deserts because they shut down all the Walgreens because they let everybody shoplift from them and they don't exist anymore.
So if we talk about access to health care in rural communities, that's an issue.
But in cities around the country, it's becoming less available because of leftist policies driving them out of business.
So this is an issue of of governmental regulation, of leftist intervention, creating and then exacerbating these problems that private industry can actually and will actually solve if they just get out of the way and stop allowing people to abuse it and stop paying for the illegal immigrants.
And because Denver's got a hospital that's shutting down, needs massive injections of federal funds by the billions of dollars because there are tens of thousands of illegal migrants with, by the way, diseases that were eradicated in America, bringing them in, reintroducing tuberculosis, reintroducing measles, reintroducing all of these We have to do
something about this.
We have to do something about these freaking people who are literally killing people, whose policies are killing people and are setting up more people to die.
The more they talk, and then they get a chance to actually get somebody in charge who's not at the behest of the pharmaceutical industry, that's not out there trying to kill people and make the most money doing it, and all they're doing is spreading lies and contradicting and scamming him.
And he's getting more applause breaks.
So let's go back to this.
I've never seen applause breaks in confirmation hearings, but Kennedy's knocking it out of the house.
ron johnson
Can we do it?
Aren't you getting tired of this?
I'm getting tired of this.
So again, Mr. Kennedy, I need to enter in the record.
These are just 11 letters of support signed by 63,000 people, thousands of doctors.
From the Association of American Physicians and Surgeons, Independent Medical Alliance, the North Carolina Physicians and Freedom Group, Governor Jeff Landry from Louisiana.
These are Americans, nonpartisan.
A lot of these people, I know because I've advocated with you, a lot of them are Democrats.
They put their political differences aside.
So, Mr. Chairman, I'd like to...
harrison smith
This is a truly bipartisan effort.
It is a true act of unity with RFK Jr., the scion of a...
Family that represents Democrats in their actual good form as they once were.
And it's the Democrats themselves that are trying to destroy it.
