[00:00:06]  Yesterday, RFK Jr. addressed the public about a measles outbreak, saying that there are 642 confirmed cases across 22 states.
[00:00:17]  He said that in early March, he deployed a CDC team to bolster capacity for response and to supply pharmacies and clinics with needed MMR vaccines and other medicines and medical supplies.
[00:00:32]  He concluded by stating that the most effective way to prevent the spread of measles is the MMR vaccine.
[00:00:40]  I've spoken to Governor Abbott and I've offered HHS's continued support.
[00:00:45]  At his request, we have redeployed CDC teams to Texas.
[00:00:49]  We will continue to follow Texas's lead and to offer similar resources to other affected jurisdictions.
[00:00:56]  The power of rhetoric is that it seems to work without fail in every election.
[00:01:02]  And so many are surprised to see this complete reversal to what he was saying before the 2024 election.
[00:01:10]  If your kids were young now, would you give them the measles the mumps vaccine?
[00:01:16]  No.
[00:01:17]  I got measles, mumps, when I was a kid, it was.
[00:01:20]  Lots of people die from, used to die from those diseases.
[00:01:23]  Well, you know what?
[00:01:24]  They died in the 1900s or early 1900s.
[00:01:27]  There were about 10,000 Americans a year.
[00:01:31]  In 1964, there was about 300 or 400 who died, and they were almost all severely malnourished kids, mainly from the Mississippi Delta.
[00:01:42]  This was before the poverty program, so there was a lot of starving children in our country.
[00:01:46]  It's very, very hard to kill a healthy child with any infectious disease, but particularly with measles.
[00:01:54]  And the World Health Organization now says vitamin A is an absolute cure for measles, which we didn't know about back then.
[00:02:01]  Back then, you know, we were treated with chicken soup and it was, you know, a week at home watching Leave It to Beaver and every kid caught it.
[00:02:10]  Every single kid got it.
[00:02:12]  And I had 11 brothers and sisters and we all got it and we were all fine.
[00:02:16]  And there are lots and lots of studies out there now that show that kids who get measles as a child are much healthier when they grow up, that they're much more resistant to cancers, to atopic diseases, to allergies, and to heart disease.
[00:02:32]  Nobody died in Samoa from measles.
[00:02:35]  They were dying from a bad vaccine.
[00:02:37]  And the vaccine was imported from Australia and given to people who had measles, which is not recommended.
[00:02:46]  The same measles outbreak hit Tonga, which is a neighboring island, and nobody died because they didn't get the vaccine.
[00:02:54]  RFK Jr. admitted to being on Jeffrey Epstein's plane three times.
[00:03:00]  You weren't ever on Jeffrey Epstein's jet, were you?
[00:03:04]  I was on Jeffrey Hutstein's jet two times.
[00:03:07]  I was on it in 1993 and I was on it and I went to Florida with my wife and two children to visit my mom over Easter.
