The term the Clinton body count has become a fairly common saying in today's pop culture.
It is based on the fact that scores of the Clintons' critics, opponents, associates, and criminal witnesses have died in mysterious ways.
Far too many to reasonably be discarded as mere coincidence.
The saying first appeared when a young Bill Clinton was the governor of Arkansas.
And at least 20 people connected to the young governor were murdered or died mysteriously, mostly surrounding the CIA's illegal activities at MENA Intermountain Municipal Airport, which was part of the Iran-Contra affair, wherein the U.S. government was smuggling drugs and guns through MENA, Arkansas to fund an illegal revolution in Nicaragua.
The Contras were a, you know, former Somoza supporters, former Somoza military officers who had been kicked out of Nicaragua in 1979 and were trying to retake the country with the aid of the CIA.
And the one thing that's important, and a lot of people don't recall because this is ancient history, you know, it happened 15 years ago, was that the Contras were a creation of the CIA.
The Contras were dealing drugs in Los Angeles and elsewhere.
These drug traffickers were meeting with CIA agents.
The impact of it was that when you had all this cheap cocaine going into south central Los Angeles, right at the time people were figuring out how to take this powder cocaine and turn it into crack, you had sort of a collision of historical events in a very odd place.
It was bombshell news when it broke.
Several documentaries were made in the 1990s covering Clinton's involvement with Mina and the growing number of dead witnesses.
And even mainstream news covered the sensational story of CIA drug smuggling.
But it was only a flash.
After the story broke, the corporate media dutifully ran damage control and buried what would have been the scandal of the century.
And when the CIA finally admitted to these crimes, the news cycle was saturated with Monica Lewinsky, cigars, and oral sex in the Oval Office.
As far as the mainstream narrative goes, Mina never happened.
My immediate supervisor, who was lieutenant of the Sling County Criminal Investigation Division, took me for a ride that lasted approximately one hour.
During this ride to literally nowhere, it appeared the whole purpose was to tell me to leave the case alone.
He said things like, there's not anything to this.
This could have been an accident.
It's going to bring you a lot of grief if you continue on and do this.
And in the end, he finally said, you know, John, you really need to leave this alone.
Unrelated to Mina, the first two names on the list are women, which is fitting for the man with more accusations of rape and sexual assault than any other politician in U.S. history.
There is very little information to be found on Suzanne Coleman or Susan Coleman, but the rumor is well established.
She was allegedly telling friends that she was pregnant with Bill Clinton's love child while Bill was the Attorney General of Arkansas.
And on February 15th, 1977, 26-year-old Coleman died of a gunshot to the back of the head, which was ruled a suicide.
A gunshot to the back of the head is a very unlikely suicide, which is a common theme throughout the Clinton body count list.
Next on the list is Judy Gibbs, who on January 3rd, 1986, died in a mysterious house fire while rumors were spreading that she had compromising pictures of her and then governor of Arkansas, Bill Clinton.
As a teenager, Judy Gibbs was lured into prostitution by her brother-in-law, Dale Bliss, who was married to her sister Sharon.
Judy later became a model and former penthouse pet.
At age 30, Gibbs left her modeling career and married Bill Putterbau.
According to his son Randy, Putterbau liked to rub shoulders with politicians in Arkansas and claimed that his father was prostituting his young, beautiful wife to Governor Bill Clinton to gain political favor.
According to Judy's sister Martha, Governor Clinton would fly Judy from the small airport opposite Putterbau's house into Little Rock, where he would meet her at a hotel room for sex.
This routine was abruptly ended when Judy's brother-in-law, Dale Bliss, was caught molesting an eight-year-old boy.
When the police raided Dale's home, they allegedly found a hidden window where he was taking pictures of girls having sex with the state's most powerful men.
Word quickly spread that a photo was discovered of Governor Clinton having sex with Judy Gibbs.
Shortly thereafter, a massive fire broke out in their home, and Judy Gibbs, age 32, died of smoke inhalation, along with 57-year-old Bill Putterbau.
No cause for the fire was found, and Judy's body was found on the floor near a door that would have allowed her escape.
Both Judy's sister Martha and Putterbau's son Randy believe that Bill Clinton was somehow responsible for the death of Judy Gibbs.
Reports of Sandinista troops moving from Nicaragua against Contra bases in Honduras.
They seem to be going for what we've been calling a killer blow, an effort to crush the freedom fighters while Congress is refusing to give them any aid and they can't be resupplied.
The Nicaraguan communists took the House vote as a sign, all right.
They invaded the territory of Honduras with about 1,500 heavily armed troops, and then they lied about it.
President Ortega keeps warning that intervention by the United States is bound to lead to war.
On October 5th, 1986, a CIA airplane was shot down over Nicaragua by the Sandinista government, and its pilot, Eugene Hassenfuss, was captured.
At a press conference, Haasenfus stated that he was part of Operation Enterprise, an operation to supply the Contras with weapons supervised by the U.S. government.
Hassenfuss told the court a story he has already told the world in interviews.
He was out of work, brought to Miami by former Air America pilot William Cooper and assigned to fly weapons to two groups of rebels trying to overthrow the Managua government.
The objectives of our flights into Nicaragua were to resupply the FDN and the UNU teams of the Contras.
But under questioning by the prosecutor, Hassenfus did not repeat a charge that two Cuban Americans working with him were CIA operatives.
This led to a direct link to the Reagan White House, what became known as the Iran-Contra affair.
The operation was to supply the Nicaraguan Contras with untraceable weapons.
This operation was funded by illegal weapons sales to Iran and the distribution of large amounts of cocaine smuggled into the United States via the CIA-run airport in MENA, Arkansas.
The profits from the cocaine distribution was then laundered through various organizations such as the Arkansas Development Finance Authority, created by Webster Hubble and signed into law by Governor Bill Clinton.
During the hearings, Oliver North took the blame and loyally fell on his sword.
But Governor Clinton's involvement was evident and clearly the reason for running the operation through Arkansas.
Barry Seal was a drug smuggler and he tried to set it up in his home state of Louisiana, but they wouldn't let him.
He had to come to a state that had a sleazy governor hooked on cocaine and everybody knew it.
Yeah, Bill Clinton was hooked on cocaine.
Governor Bill Clinton was taken into the hospital, I believe it was the medical center, on at least one or two occasions for cocaine abuse and overdosage in which he actually had to be cared for at the hospital.
The young governor was keen on making his bones and playing for the deep state.
The next several victims are all related to the Iran-Contra affair and the CIA's illegal smuggling operation being run out of MENA, Arkansas.
In 1982, cocaine trafficker Barry Seale set up one of the largest drug smuggling operations in the United States in MENA, Arkansas, under the approving eye of Governor Bill Clinton.
As Oliver North's public battle over government secrets and the illegal supply of weapons to the Nicaraguan Contras is waged in Washington, congressional investigators in recent months have tried to learn if MENA, Arkansas was an illegal staging area for shipping guns to the U.S.-backed Confra rebels.
It all begins in 1982 when this man, Adler Berryman Seal, showed up in MENA, Arkansas.
He used to smuggle drugs, then he got caught and he became one of the government's most valuable informants in the war against cocaine.
But last night in Louisiana, Barry Seal's enemies caught up with him and killed him.
Airplane pilot Barry Seale, recently portrayed by Tom Cruise in the film American Maid, was a drug smuggler contracted by the CIA operating out of the MENA airport.
Seal was arrested and convicted to 10 years in prison, but made a deal with the DEA to work as an informant.
During sentencing, Barry Seal was forced to reside in a Salvation Army halfway house and was prohibited from having guns or bodyguards.
Three weeks later, on February 19, 1986, Barry Seale was gunned down by machine gun fire in the parking lot of the halfway house.
There was, in my opinion, more than enough evidence to prosecute a number of people for crimes regarding the Barry Seal case at MENA.
James Dewey Milam was a witness to the MENA drug operation.
On May 30th, 1987, Milam was murdered and decapitated.
His head was nowhere to be found.
Bill Clinton's state medical examiner, Fami Malik, ruled that Milam's death was caused by an ulcer.
According to Malik, Milam's missing head was eaten by the family dog.
But weeks later, Milam's missing head turned up a few blocks away in a garbage bin.
Malik's obvious lack of medical knowledge reached a pinnacle when he ruled that James Milam, who had been decapitated, had died of natural causes.
Yet Clinton, who had the power to remove Malik from office, insisted he stay.
Perhaps the biggest story of the MENA scandal is the story of Don Henry and Kevin Ives, who were found dead lying on railroad tracks on August 23rd, 1987.
Clinton had integrated a number of corrupt cops, judges, and politicians into high-level positions to ensure the continued success of the drug smuggling money laundering operations.
All was going well until a fateful night in the fall of 1987.
On August 22nd, 1987, Kevin had spent the night with his friend Don Henry.
They left Don's home around 12.30 or quarter to one on the 23rd of August in early morning hours, and the next thing we knew, they had been run over by a train.
State medical examiner Fami Malik claimed the cause of death was passing out after smoking 20 marijuana cigarettes.
We disagreed with that ruling because we thought the evidence pointed to homicide.
The boys' bodies were exhumed eight months later, and autopsies were performed by outside medical examiners.
It was discovered that Don died from being stabbed in the back and Kevin died from a crushed skull.
Both boys were murdered prior to being placed on the railroad tracks.
Ultimately, it was proven that Don Henry had been stabbed in the back and Kevin Ives' skull had been crushed prior to the placement of their bodies on the railroad tracks.
However, Malik stood by his ruling that the boys had simply fallen asleep on the tracks.
Malik had been kept in office at the insistence of Governor Clinton for a number of years, despite vigorous public outcry to have him removed.
Malik also had completely dismantled Kevin's jawbones.
Burton stated he had performed thousands of autopsies and had never seen anything like it.
Was Malik trying to hide something?
Was there a stab?
The answer is no, they were not stabbed.
Were they dead beforehand?
Absolutely no, they were alive.
A former employee at the crime lab has said he discovered what appeared to be evidence of a stab wound during the original autopsy, but was told, quote, not to worry about it.
Malik has refused all comment.
When this news broke, Governor Clinton defended medical examiner Malik's errors by saying that Malik was tired and stressed out when he failed to notice the violent murder wounds.
17-year-old Kevin Ives and 16-year-old Don Henry were struck by a train.
The medical examiner has said that the boys were asleep and drugged with marijuana.
The parents, however, disputed that claim.
The boys were killed because they had stumbled upon a large shipment of drugs dropped from an airplane.
Tears in the fabric indicate that Don had been stabbed before he was run over by the train.
In light of this new evidence, the grand jury changed this ruling from probable homicide to definite homicide.
I'm scared of these people.
I'm very scared of them.
Head of Arkansas 7th District Drug Task Force, Gene Duffy, was told by a police informant and several witnesses that Henry and Ives had witnessed a drop site in the MENA drug operation, which resulted in their murder.
There seems to be a small airstrip in the area.
There have been sightings and reports of small airplanes flying very low with lights off in the area.
I believe they saw something they shouldn't have seen.
And as soon as her investigation began involving public officials Dan Harmon and Richard Garrett, the two men running the grand jury investigation into the murders of Don Henry and Kevin Ives, her investigation was shut down.
Gary Arnold came into my office, stood in front of my desk, looked me straight in the face, and said, Gene, you are not to use the drug task force to investigate any public official.
He turned on his heel and marched out.
Prosecuting attorney Dan Harmon, who was later convicted on drug, racketeering, and extortion charges, convinced a judge to subpoena the evidence obtained by Gene Duffy's task force.
This evidence included eyewitness testimony that actually placed prosecuting attorney Harmon at the crime scene during the time of death.
The people at the track that night, to my knowledge, were Dan Harmon, Keith McCaskill, Larry Rochelle.
I do know that the boys were watching the drop site.
June Duffy refused to turn over her evidence and fled the state when a warrant was issued for her arrest.
She claimed that she was concerned for the lives of her witnesses, which was completely reasonable, being that several witnesses had already died mysteriously.
Keith Coney had information on the deaths of Henry and Ives.
He died in a motorcycle accident in 1988 while being chased by a car.
It was ruled a traffic accident.
Keith McCaskill had information on the MENA drug operations and the deaths of Henry and Ives.
He was killed in 1988 after being stabbed 113 times.
I think that Mr. McCaskill was probably suffering from a lot of paranoia.
And right now, the indications are that nobody else is involved.
Might there have been a reason though for his paranoia?
I'm sure there was a reason for his paranoia.
Because he talked to the police or to prosecute?
I don't remember if that could be the reason.
What about the murder?
Is it connected at all with the grand jury investigation?
Not that we know of.
McCaskill was a witness in the Bryant train deaths investigation.
Although police haven't ascertained a motive for the murder, they say there's no connection.
Gregory Collins had information on the Henry Ives case.
He died in 1989 from a gunshot blast to the face.
It was declared a suicide.
Jeff Rhodes had information on the deaths of Henry and Ives, as well as information on murdered witness Keith McCaskill.
He was killed in 1989 from a gunshot wound to the head.
His hands and feet were partially sawn off, and his body was burned.
Richard Winters, a suspect in the Henry Ives investigation, was killed in 1989 by a shotgun blast to the face during a home invasion.
This was shortly after he offered to cooperate with corrupt prosecutor Dan Harmon.
Jordan Kettleson had information on the deaths of Henry and Ives.
He was shot to death in the front seat of his pickup truck in 1990.
Colonel James Sabo was allegedly about to blow the whistle on cocaine being smuggled into El Toro Marine Corps Air Station from MENA Airport.
But in 1991, he was found dead with a shotgun wound to his head.
The Navy ruled it a suicide, but later forensic analysis submitted to U.S. Congress showed that he was shot by someone else after he already died from a blow to the back of the head.
His brother, Dr. John David Sabo, says that he was murdered because he knew too much.
Arkansas State Police Investigator Russell Welch was investigating the drug running and money laundering going on in MENA, Arkansas.
In 1983, I was made aware that Sheriff Hadaway and one of his auxiliary deputies, Terry K. Park, were investigating a smuggling operation going on at the MENA Airport.
In 1991, he was mysteriously infected with military-grade anthrax.
Danny Casolaro was a journalist working on a project called The Octopus.
The story was about a network of government operatives all linked together by the vast wealth acquired from the selling of CIA-supplied cocaine.
He was writing a book about it, but was later found dead in a hotel bathtub in 1991.
His wrists were slashed so deeply that the pathologist declared it impossible for him to have done it himself.
Despite this, the official verdict was suicide.
In 1992, while Bill Clinton was running for the U.S. presidency, Gary Johnson barely escaped murder when he was beaten and left for dead by three men who invaded his home.
Jennifer Flowers, in a tabloid interview for which she was paid, says she carried on a long-term affair with Governor Clinton from the late 1970s through the end of 1989.
Gary Johnson was Jennifer Flower's neighbor, a woman who was rumored to be having an affair with presidential candidate Bill Clinton.
Gary Johnson had a security camera that captured Jennifer Flower's front door, and it was rumored that there was video of Bill Clinton regularly entering Jennifer's condominium.
These security camera tapes were all taken during the home invasion.
C. Victor Razor II, along with his son Montgomery and five others, died in a small private plane when it crashed in Alaska in 1992.
Razor was the National Finance Co-Chairman for the Clinton for President campaign.
The plane crashed one day before Razor's scheduled interview with NBC's John Hillier, who was working on an investigation of a drug smuggling operation in MENA, Arkansas.
The crash was blamed on the surviving pilot.
DNC director and strategist Paul Tulley moved to Arkansas to help Governor Bill Clinton win the presidential race.
He was shortly thereafter found dead in a hotel room in Little Rock in 1992.
His death was due to unknown causes and no autopsy was allowed.
In 1992, Governor Clinton's speech interpreter for the deaf, Paula Grober, died in a one-car accident with no witnesses.
Her body was found 33 feet from the car.
Jim Wilhite of Arkansas Natural Gas Company, ARCLA Incorporated, involved in the Clintons Whitewater scandal, died alone in a skiing accident in 1992.
20 mysterious deaths, all victims related to scandals that would have destroyed the political career of Bill Clinton, and all before he became President of the United States.
There is a good reason that the phrase the Clinton body count has taken hold in pop culture.
One cannot deny the phenomenon.
The MENA case died along with all the witnesses and investigators and gave birth to the term Arkansas, the favored method of getting rid of political enemies in the state of Arkansas.
With an infamous reputation as a liar, a drug addict, and a rapist, Governor Bill Clinton went on to become President of the United States.
And they say that crime does not pay.
Sir, the Republicans are trying to blame you for the existence of a small air base at MENA, Arkansas.
This base was set up by George Bush and Oliver North and the CIA to help the Iran Contras.
And they brought in plane load after plane load of cocaine there for sale in the United States.
And then they took the money and bought weapons and took them back to the Contras, all of which was illegal, as you know, under the Bowling Act.
Tell me, did they tell you that this had to be in existence because of national security?
Well, let me answer the question.
No, they didn't tell me anything about it.
They didn't say anything to me about it.
The airport in question and all the events in question were the subject of state and federal inquiries.
It was primarily a matter for federal jurisdiction.
The state really had next to nothing to do with it.
