Hunter Biden's defense attorney, Abby Lowell, weaponized his letters to Congress to try to smear my name Mr. Chairman Mr. Chairman.
hard facts in an attempt to save his powerfully connected client and his father. I challenge
Mr. Lowell to make those claims on national television so he can be held accountable for
his lies.
That was Tony Bobulinski yesterday at the hearing, the impeachment preparations against
Joe Biden, the man who was the CEO of the companies that the Bidens used to funnel money
from foreign interests through 21 shell companies to the Biden family.
And he very rightly accused individuals like Congressman Raskin and Goldman of lying about him, of smearing him in public.
And good for him.
Good for him.
I think he got under their skin because this is what Congressman Raskin reacted on CNN.

Well, you know, it seems to be a matter of habit and second nature now for people in Megaworld to call other people liars.
There used to be something of a public convention or taboo about that.
But in any event, I don't mind if he would just specify what the lie is.
But he never stated what he said I was lying about.
Let's talk about Russia collusion.
Let's talk about President Trump.

But where do we go from here?
Eight months left.
Are we going to have an impeachment of Joe Biden?
Is he going to be removed?
Is the Senate going to see him as the albatross they have to remove?
We don't have the votes, the two-thirds votes needed in the Senate, but maybe this is the way to get rid of him for the Democrats so they can slide somebody else in.
Well, Jesse Waters, one of the few good guys left at Fox, he summed it all up rather well because impeachment is an unusual animal.
It's not a judicial process, really.
Yes, they talk about conviction, but it's not.
It's a political function.
Listen to what Jesse says about the next eight months and the Biden family.
Cut five.
The Democrats say there's no evidence, the media reports there's no evidence, and the four-year cover-up continues.
So looking at the calendar, I don't see the committee moving towards an official impeachment this year.
I just don't.
Personally, I believe there was sufficient evidence to start impeachment last year, but that's just me.
Now the committee's up against a political clock.
Summer recess, conventions, and the politicians, they have to campaign for re-elections, so they're not going to be in Washington for impeachment hearings.
And an impeachment in October could be silly with weeks before an election.
So the committee is going to keep grinding.
We're still expecting credit card records from multiple banks and the offshore accounts, which the IRS whistleblowers confirm exist, are being protected by the DOJ.
But if Trump wins and finds Biden's offshore accounts, I don't care what Robert Hurst says, you're going to see a sympathetic elderly man with a hazy memory on trial.
If Biden wins re-election and the Republicans keep the House, then they'll have time for impeachment.
This year, though, it's more about what the American people believe and how it impacts their vote.
Everyone knows Biden's corrupt.
We just have to vote him out.
Excellent summary.
The real trial Won't be in a court, won't be in the lower house, won't be in the Senate.
The real trial of Joe Biden will be on November 5th.
The question I have is how powerful is cognitive dissonance?
How many tens of millions of people out there, and you know, many of these individuals, and you could have an influence on them.
How many people out there know he's corrupt?
Know that his son is corrupt.
Know that there's no reason on God's green earth for a political family, especially a political family, to have 21 shell companies.
The estimated wealth of Joe Biden today is between 30 and 40 million dollars.
How is that possible?
You can't accrue 40 million dollars by being a public servant.
How did he do that?
And if it was because of things that were acquired and invoiced by his son, And then wired through those shell companies into Joe Biden's private account.
Well, then that just raises another question.
What was Hunter Biden invoicing for?
He wasn't selling goods.
He didn't have real estate or products to sell.
So what intangible was he providing?
He's not a very good lawyer.
He was kicked out of the Navy for being a drug addict.

The question is how many people will allow that truth to actually shape their decision on November the 5th?

That was Peter Navarro just a couple of days ago standing outside the federal prison where he reported for his sentence.
A man held in contempt of Congress on a misdemeanor charge is now in prison.
Unlike, of course, Hunter Biden.
Why is the GOP not talking up?
Why aren't they making this a national issue?
Let's talk to our friend who knows everything about the swamp because he is the Washington Bureau Chief for the powerhouse that is Breitbart.com, Matt Boyle.

Great to be here.
Yeah, and isn't it just terrible what they're doing to Peter Navarro when we have Hunter Biden on film committing multiple felonies?
Like, it's just unbelievable.
So, somebody mentioned this to me yesterday and then I stopped and I thought, wow, that's so true.
With the odd exception, especially in conservative media, especially on radio, but there's definitely a dearth of anyone on Capitol Hill.
Why aren't Republican officials not saying that this is police state tactics and speaking out in defense of Peter Navarro?
I just think that the Republicans, for the most part, are... A lot of them, there are some that are bad, don't get me wrong, right?
Like, I'm not trying to defend them all.
But the vast majority of them, I just don't think they know how to fight, right?
Like, I was talking to Steve Bannon about this earlier on his show, earlier today we were talking about this, because he was asking me, like, why Why are we losing this impeachment inquiry stuff when we literally get the president's name on a check, right?
Why are we seeing more and more of these awful spending bills that they're trying to jam through?
And that they're going to, by the way.
They will get it passed by the end of the week.
Why are we seeing that?
It's because the vast majority of Republicans, I think, are just not They're good, decent, honest people.
They're doctors, lawyers, whatever, local officials, business owners who decided, farmers who decided to go run for office because they hate what's happening to their country, but they don't know how to fight.
So we need somebody to go in there and teach these House Republicans, this is how you fight.
That's not happening right now.
These guys don't get it.
You look at the Democrats, you look at their side, the AOCs of the world and whatnot, they fight like the country's on the line, because it is.
Our side just doesn't have that, right?
So why don't we have that mentality and the tactics that they're using?
The only explanation I can really come up with is while there are some of the Republicans who are really bad people, that are corrupt, that are bought off, that are on the other side, the vast majority of them, I don't think they know how.
We need to go have a training session for these Republicans.
But didn't four years of Trump teach them?
Because he fights.
Some of them learned, right?
Like, so you see some of the good ones fighting, right?
Like, I saw Byron Donalds yesterday during the hearing, and he was fantastic, right?
Did you see him walking through all the checks, right?
Like, he pulls up this check and that check, right?
And then he lays out the whole thing about how the Democrats, or how, literally lays out how the Chinese put money in Joe Biden's bank account.
Like, directly Joe Biden.
Not that you need to show that, by the way.
You can literally show that the family's been bought off.
That's a bribe in and of itself.
But the fact is that you can literally trace the money from the CEFC, which is controlled by the Chinese Communist Party, right into Joe Biden's bank account.
There's a check with his name on it from one of the entities that got the money from CEFC.
It's plain as day.
But the fact is, is that, um, you know, so there are good ones, right?
Like Byron Donalds is great.
Marjorie Taylor Greene, I saw her.
She was doing good, right?
Like during the hearing.
But the fact is, is that the vast majority of them, they just don't get it.
I just, it's sad.
It really is.
All right.
Let's talk about the other side.
He was desperate yesterday, begging for votes from Hispanic Americans.
This is the current incumbent in the White House.
Cut eight.
This election is not a referendum on me.
It's an election between me and a guy named Trump.
And this is a guy whose way he talks about the Latino community is, well, in 2016 he called Latinos criminal drug dealers and rapists when he came down that escalator.
Now he says immigrants are poisoning the blood of our country.
You're the reason why, in large part, I beat Donald Trump.
I need you.
I need you badly.
I need you?
I need you badly?
That doesn't sound like somebody who's very confident, Matt.
Yeah, by the way, this is one of the things I talked about with President Trump last week when we did our big interview, Alex and I, with him in Mar-a-Lago.
We spent 90 minutes with him.
We really zoned in on the demographic shifts that we're seeing towards President Trump among the black community, among women, and among the Hispanic community in particular.
And part of the reason why that's happening is because the Hispanic community understands that the Democrats are lying about immigration.
Right? Like, and frankly, Joe Biden spent his entire State of the Union trying to claim,
lying to America, saying that the Senate bill would have made things better. It wouldn't have,
it would have made things worse. And President Trump made that extremely clear in his interview
with us. He says that that Senate bill would have exacerbated the problem, called Biden on the lie.
So I think that, and I highly recommend people read those stories.
We've had several of them the last several days on Breitbart from President Trump.
So you can hear directly from him, you can see what he's saying, what he's thinking, and really drill down on these issues.
Because the fact is, is that Joe Biden's only hope is that he can lie his way back into the White House.
That's it.
That's the only pathway for him.
If the truth gets out, and everybody knows the truth, and we're talking only about facts and verifiable facts, Donald Trump wins 10 times out of 10 against Joe Biden.
The only pathway for Joe Biden back into the White House is through a campaign of misinformation, lies, and deceit.
How much credence do you give to these reports from the actual legacy-lying media that Biden, behind closed doors in the White House, is screaming at his aides about how bad his polling figures are?
I think it's a hundred times worse than the media outlets are making it sound, right?
So I think that I believe it.
A hundred percent, but I think it's a lot worse than that.
I saw this one story in Politico where they were talking about he was screaming at people in NBC.
I saw another one.
It took two months for these incidents to leak.
I think that it's happening every day.
I think that they're in full panic meltdown mode, and I don't think they've fully captured it yet.
I think it's a little CYA going on by the establishment media.
They're just trying to cover their bases so that If this goes the way we think it goes in November, they can say, see, we told you so.
We told you we were reporting it.
We were reporting it truthfully.
No, it's a million times worse than it's being reported in the White House right now.
They're in full meltdown panic mode.
And the nice thing is the State of the Union really locked him in, right?
There's no way they're getting rid of him now.
Yeah, well, that and he's also got the delegates, right?
So he has the majority of the delegates going into the Democrat convention.
So the only thing they could do is if he voluntarily stepped aside or had some major health incident or something, if he died, God forbid, I don't want that to happen to anybody, even though I don't like Joe Biden.
But the fact is, is that that's the only way they could do it.
And then they can maybe swap things out for Kamala with the delegates at the convention.
But they're stuck with him if he wants to be the candidate and he's there.
Superb.

Now, these hearings are good because they're exposing who these people really are, and that needs to be shown to the American people.
But impeaching him, impeaching Ruth Bader Biden, is walking right into the hands of the Democrats.
Why?
Just like Ruth Bader refused to retire, and it cost the Democrats.
That's what Biden's doing.
We have to leave him there.
As crippled as he is, he needs to stay there.
So, back to the Republicans not fighting.
Two names.
Tim Birchett, I think is his name, and then Steve Baker.
Tim Birchett said that there's Republicans who fight because they're on the Epstein list.
Many of them are.

They're more powerful than Nancy Pelosi is on the Hill and that they can force people to do things based on what they know is happening behind the scenes.
It's very interesting.
It'd be worth having him on.

They're the most powerful because they've got stuff on people.

You're talking to about three and a half million people right now.
Tell us your story.
Yeah, I still am a coach at the Mid-Vermont Christian School.
And at the end of our last season, we were kicked out of all state athletics by the state of Vermont because we felt at our school we had the right to choose whether we wanted to have our female athletes compete against male athletes.
So we had a playoff game that was scheduled against a team that had a male athlete on the team, and we declined to play that game.
And as a result of that, the state did not like our decision And they ended up kicking us out of the league.
I am curious because I saw the news when it happened, Chris.
What are the other schools you're competing with and the athletic associations and the referees?
When you see these hulking six foot three men pretending to be young girls and you say, hang on a second, that's cheating.
How come everybody else doesn't agree with you, Chris?
I would say that there's a really high percentage of individuals inside athletics all throughout the country and in the state of Vermont who agree with our position.
I think it's a relatively few.
They just happen to be inside the state in the state organization, the BPA, which runs state athletics.
They're the ones who are Fighting us on our decision.
So the support we've gotten from coaches all over the state, all over the country, athletic directors, I've talked to more than a few of them and they say, hey, you're fighting the good fight.
But the one thing that they do tell me is that they really don't have the ability to speak up like we do because they're fearful of losing their jobs and their coaching and their positions that they have.

Well, first off, we're representing Chris and the great individuals there at the school in federal court.
We filed a lawsuit in the federal court there in Vermont, and we're asking the court to allow the school, these great players, to be able to compete again in the state association.
We have a hearing coming up next month in April, and so we feel very confident in our arguments, and we're hoping that we can right a serious wrong here.
It's absolutely ridiculous what the state's doing.
What is your message, Ryan, to those who are listening right now who say, well, you know what?
I'm not a cake baker.
I'm not a basketball coach.
And, you know, that doesn't matter to me.
Well, I wish that this incident were a one-off.
Unfortunately, we see this going on across the U.S., not just the ridiculous situation of having to possibly put, you know, female athletes up against male athletes, but we see it in a number of different contexts.
And so, I think what's important here and why I'm so appreciative of Chris and the folks at Midvermont is just the fact that they're standing up.
We can't remain silent here because what the state's trying to do It's perched schools and people from the public square because they don't agree with the government here on a controversial issue where they're ignoring basic biology, safety, privacy, the importance of free speech and religious freedom.
It's vindictive and it's absolutely outrageous.

Well, our first choice would be to play, continue to play in the state of Vermont.
Last year that wasn't possible since they did not allow us to play, so we were able to find a New England Christian School League where we were traveling all over New England, Connecticut, New Hampshire, Massachusetts, so it was a lot more travel.
We had overnight, so there's definitely an added expense in that.
But we're happy we were able to have a season, but again, we're missing out on what we feel like is our right to be able to play in the state.
We shouldn't be expected to, well the state is basically forcing us
to force our girls to compete against male athletes.
And we just don't think that's right.
And what we want to do is just have the choice to say, you know what, we're going to pass on those games,
and we're going to have our girls play against girls.
It's pretty simple that way for us.
It's just so, so wrong.

We have no border.
We're the only nation in the, you know, developed world that has no border.
What does it mean?
And what's happening in Haiti?
And how does that tie into all of this?
Let's bring back our friend from the Center for Immigration Studies, Todd Bensman, the expert who can tell us the truth.
Todd, welcome back to America First.
I want to talk about Haiti in a second and what could be coming here from Haiti and what, you know, Governor DeSantis and others are trying to do in response.
But can you talk to us about this?
It's like we're in Bizarro World.
Supreme Court says something, then Texas can secure the border.
Then there's another judge that goes insane, says Texas can't secure the border.
What in God's name is going on?
Is there a state-level fix to this?
Could Texas be making a big difference?
What's the truth?
First of all, what's happening is just an argument over whether to Hold off on the law until the merits of it can be argued out legally in front of just the Supreme Court.
That's really what it is.
There's no merit hearing here.
It hasn't been, nobody's weighed in on the merits of the assertion that Texas is making that it has the right, the sovereign state right, to round up immigrants, detain them, charge them with state crimes of illegal entry, and then to leverage their self-deportations back.
We'll drop the charges if you self-deport.
That's basically what the law holds.
The problem is that this is an absolutely unprecedented law.
Never has anything like this been asserted before, but also never has the federal government And then this latest story that Mexico is refusing to take back her own citizens, that Texas is deporting.
Both sides are in completely untrammeled territory and it's going to have to be decided by the
Supreme Court.
They have no choice.
They have to weigh in on this one.
And then this latest story that Mexico is refusing to take back her own citizens, that
Texas is deporting.
How does that happen, Todd?
Well, first of all, they're not allowed to do that.
There's an agreement.
We have agreements with them.
It's bilateral relations.
It's been in place forever and ever.
Mexico takes back its own citizens.
So I'm not clear on what grounds they're claiming not to take back their citizens, but we do know that Mexico Dearly, desperately wants as many of its citizens in the United States earning and sending cash back.
I will say this, that there is an agreement right now that nobody ever talks about between Mexico and the Biden administration, which is Mexicans are allowed to apply for the CBP-1 cross the border for free app.
at the land bridges and get two-year work authorizations.
85,000 Mexicans have done that.
It's a full-on work program that was never approved by Congress.
They apply on the app, on their cell phone app, and say, I'm in humanitarian distress.
Can I come in and work for two years?
Renewable online for like 10 bucks, by the way.
That's a work program.
They put a work program together and didn't tell anybody about it and didn't ask Congress to do it.
There's a hearing right now in the House about CBP-1 where I'm really hoping that somebody asks the officials that are testifying.
These are administration political appointees.
They probably won't say anything good, but But anyway, it'll be interesting to see how they respond to, why are you letting 85,000 Mexicans have humanitarian parole into the United States with renewable work authorization that goes on forever?
Yeah.
Alright, let's talk about barbecue and the cannibal gang in Haiti.
How does this impact on a nation like ours that has no borders?
Right, it depends on how the administration decides to handle the first boat people.
There are boats that are flotillas of them that are forming on the shorelines there, and they're trying to, they're sailboats, so they're not like moving fast, moving through Bahama waters, Cuban waters, and Turk and Caicos waters.
And right now the administration appears to have cut a deal to make a blockade, a naval blockade, with British warships or ships, Bahamas vessels, and some Cubans, supposedly to turn them back.
But if the Biden administration lets them land in the Florida Keys, which is where they're all heading, you can expect a mass migration crisis at sea, is what I believe.
They must be turned back or you will have a mass migration at sea, a seaborne one.
But so far they are setting up Guantanamo Bay and they're messaging, you know, we're going to be turning you back to Haiti itself.
Fingers crossed on that one.
But there's no expectation that the Biden administration will do what needs to be done, is there?
Well, ordinarily not.
Ordinarily, the administration would let everybody land in Florida and process them all in, except this is an election year where that sort of optics are ranking as the top polling issue in this election.
So they're going to have to go Trumpian tough or lose the election is how they're probably thinking.
On that note, we've only got a minute or two left.
What credence do you give to these reports that the Biden administration have been negotiating with Mexico to slow the roll of the caravans until November because they're in trouble and then they can start sending the millions again if he wins in November?
Do you give credence to this incredibly cynical negotiation?
It's totally true.
I first reported this on January 17th in an elaborate report for CIS about how the Biden administration had cut some secret deal with Obrador.
He deployed 30,000 troops.
How does 30,000 troops get deployed down there to cut immigration off and nobody in the U.S.
reports about it?
I don't know.
Only now, two months later, and I've written about it since then, Big elaborate reports from Mexico where I interviewed the army troops down there and INM and the immigrants who are running and dodging and hiding this thing.
This thing cut the number of migrants crossing the border from 14,000 a day to like 4,000 or 5,000 a day.
It's like at 7,000 a day now for political optics.
They just don't want those Fox News drones over there showing all those thousands of people backed up on the riverbank.
That's really what it is.
But it is true.
Totally true.
I've been reporting it for two months now.

OK, let me share with you a little peek behind the curtain, a little bit of inside baseball.
Earlier today I did a television interview for the National News Agency of Lithuania, which was kind of personal for me because my parents may have escaped Hungary.
When it was a communist nation, but way back when my ancestors were Lithuanian They were from the kingdom of Lithuania and Poland.
They got in some trouble with the authorities there as you know pro-democracy anti-royalists in the 1840s and so they ended up in Hungary and so yeah my ancestors I'll talk to journalists from there and And they sent me a series of questions that I'm going to share with you.
Hopefully I'll get the video of my interview.
I think the guy was a good guy.
And this tells you the power of what Chris Plant calls information dominance.
Here are the questions they asked me today.
Many in my country and region fear that the blocking of military aid to Ukraine shows the approach of President Trump towards the war, cutting off all the aid so Russia can overrun it.
What is your response?
Another fear, second question, is that under President Trump, United States will leave NATO.
And on it goes.
The next question.
A lot of people are afraid that President Trump will see Europe as a space for cutting deals with Russia as he gives in to authoritarian agents.
And then on and on that isolationism will return to America if President Trump wins.
So, to put it bluntly, Lithuania, one of the Baltic states that's right up there, knows what being dominated by the Kremlin was like.
Their existence was denied through the Cold War.
They're afraid of President Trump coming back.
And I behaved myself this time.
I didn't get angry.
I didn't get aggressive.
Because, you know, this is my kith and kin.
And I asked them a very simple question.
Were you alive when my boss was the president?
Because, you know, anybody above the age of 10 can remember when President Trump was actually in the White House.
Did he leave NATO?
Was he an isolationist?
And did he make cynical geopolitical bargains with Russia?
No, no, no.
In fact, we killed 300 Russian mercenaries in Syria.
And Putin didn't say boo.
When his client state Assad's murderous regime in Damascus was about to use chemical weapons, we didn't say, oh we're isolationists, we don't care!
We dropped 52 cruise missiles on that base and turned it into a sheet of glass.
Oh, and how about this?
This is like, this is what I don't understand, the misperception.
When was Ukraine invaded for the first time?
When they stole Crimea.
Aha, when Obama was president.
Then when did they invade a second time?
When Biden was president!

Let's talk about the shocking things you've uncovered.
Let's talk about what's happening in my county, Fairfax County, when it comes to history lessons.
This is a story from the Daily Wire.
I couldn't believe it when Katie showed it to me.
Tell me what's happening in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
Well, there's been a lot of controversy about whether parents should be able to opt kids out of controversial lessons.
People on the left generally say, no, you should not be able to do things like remove your child from LGBTQ lessons, transgender stuff.
They feel like it's important for everybody to get the social messages that they're pushing, and parents shouldn't have those rights.
But here in Fairfax County, which is the largest, one of the largest districts in the country, there was a startling reversal on that position.
Suddenly the left and the Fairfax County public schools are in favor of opting out When it comes to learning about the Holocaust, they had a Holocaust survivor coming in to share his experience, and this has got to be one of the last remaining survivors, God bless him, and he was coming in to tell the story firsthand.
Students could really understand the gravity of the Holocaust.
And the principal basically sent an email to all the parents advertising the ability to opt out.
And it said, we understand that all students have different experiences.
If you prefer to opt your child out from participating, Please email your child's history teacher.
So they weren't just allowing you to opt out, they were almost soliciting it and advertising it, which is again, totally different than you'd see with LGBT.
Certainly they're not allowing you to opt out of lessons on slavery and things like that.
So I have to ask, because this is just absolutely mind-boggling, that you're going to opt out of teaching the history of the biggest genocide, you know, in Western Europe in the 20th century.
Where does this originate?
Who's the first person who said, yeah, this is a good idea?
Well, you know, so FCPS basically talks a lot about diversity and equity, and they kind of say that in their original message to parents, that students have different experiences.
And, you know, one can imagine in the aftermath of the Hamas terrorist attack on Israel, there's been a lot of anti-Semitism and animus at Israel and Jews, especially coming from the left.
And so you can imagine that I think it's a pretty clear and reasonable reading of this to say students have different experiences.
It seems to me that they're talking about people who don't like Jews because they're from certain countries.
But when I asked them about that, they actually sent this very weird message.
It's one of these PR-speak things that barely even seems like it's written in English.
But it basically says, we did this to let the Jews be exempted from learning about the Holocaust because it might be too difficult for them.
They might be getting PTSD and things like that.
Yeah, I mean, first of all, these kids, they were not in the Holocaust themselves.
And second, it's supposed to be hard.
It's supposed to be uncomfortable.
It's supposed to be emotional.
Right, but we don't not teach about World War II because people died in World War II.
I mean, that's just garbage.
That's just, you know, the school's authority covering their backside.
Let's talk about the other story from Montgomery County where a teacher was framed.
I mean, this is even worse.
Yeah, so, you know, right across the Potomac River in Montgomery County, Maryland, there was a school where the principal, where the kids had a walkout, and the principal gave them excused absences to go protest against Israel.
And they were holding up these signs, like praising like violent struggle and things
like that.
And the signs came from the Freedom Road Socialist Organization.
And so it was kind of well publicized a few months back.
This is right after the October 7th attacks.
And so I did a FOIA request to learn about the principal support of this rally.
And it found that a Jewish teacher had reported to the principal that some of those Palestine
protesters had praised Hitler and called for the death of Jews.
And she heard that with her own ears as a teacher.
And so what they did is they decided to take the kid's side over the teacher, and they said, this didn't happen, you made it all up.
So I wrote that story a couple months ago, and just this week I did a follow-up.
It turns out that after my story came out in the Daily Wire, the principal blamed the Jewish teacher for leaking to the media, which was not true, and they knew it was not true, because I got it from a FOIA request, a Freedom of Information Act request, and the principal knew it.
It was actually from the principal's own emails that I knew that she had praised these protesters after she knew that they had allegedly praised Hitler.
And she actually refused to send an email condemning the Hitler-praising kids, and instead said they did a fantastic job.
And so the emails show that this principal knew that she was basically framing this Jewish teacher and imposing a disciplinary action for leaking to the media, when in fact it was the principal's own emails, through a public records request, that tipped me off to this story.
Well, as I've been saying for years here, that's why my wife ran for local office, and now she's running for the chair of the Fairfax County GOP.
Politics is truly local, and they can steal your country from you without the White House, without the Senate, if we let them take over the school boards, the county commissioners.
It's time to fight back.
It's time to get politically engaged.

So you're going to educate millions of people now across the country from California to the swamp about things like TikTok and what on earth they have to do with the survival of Western civilization, America, and just not giving away your precious biometric information and your geolocation to countries that don't really like us.
So Kara, why is there legislation?
Let's start with a simple thing.
Why is there legislation about a social media app on Capitol Hill, an app that teenagers love, allegedly?
Well, here's the thing.
It's a wolf in sheep's clothing.
It is a true national security threat.
And I've talked about this as a slam dunk when it comes to national security because of three simple things.
And that is, number one, this deep, deep relationship to the Chinese Communist Party.
TikTok's parent company, ByteDance, is incorporated in China.
It is subject to the laws and the policies of the People's Republic of China, which foremost among them, I would say, there's a 2017 national intelligence law which effectively renders any private company in China a ward of the state.
They have to contribute to, quote, state intelligence work.
So there are no private companies in China. They must work on behalf of the Chinese
government. Number two, we know through a Department of Justice document that the CCP, the
Chinese Communist Party, has an internal committee on ByteDance, TikTok's parent
company, that influences the activities of the app. So you have CCP pulling the
strings.
They're like puppeteers within ByteDance, the parent company of TikTok.
And then lastly, we know that a card-carrying member of the Chinese Communist Party, an actual CCP official, has one of three domestics in ByteDance's main domestic subsidiary, a board seat there.
there. So you have China exercising direct control over TikTok's parent company ByteDance,
and they've accessed Americans' data in China before.
Although TikTok has said, no, no, no, we really haven't. It always comes out after
TikTok makes a proclamation like that.
No, the platform, they've later been caught in a, I'll call it a lie, or an equivocation.
And Chinese engineers, China-based engineers do access and have accessed Americans' user data.
The last thing I'll say, which is really important, is people say, oh, this is not a surveillance app, yet ByteDance has admitted that they've used TikTok deliberately as a surveillance app.
There was a project called Project Raven, internal to ByteDance, that tried to find and suss out the exact physical locations of American journalists to try to detect whistleblowers and leakers.
So they've used TikTok as a surveillance app.
Simple as that.
All right, so you've done your usual here.
It reminds me of when you were on four years ago.
I just look like an hour's worth of data dump in four minutes.
So we're going to slow roll this and Cara is going to unpack this for us.
Let's treat me like, you know, a child.
Why do we care about data on an app which is about cute kittens and young girls dancing?
So let's break it down.
Let's start from the beginning.
I don't have a TikTok account.
I went on the app once and it was truly as you think you've said you know fenton digital fentanyl because you see one 60 second video and then you you tap and you go to another one and it pulls you down this tunnel but really these are innocuous stupid videos why should we care
Not at all.
And we can talk about the content, but the reason why we should care is because of what China has said it wants to do with our data, what they're attempting to do with our data.
Think about if everyone can go all the way back to 2014, 2015, there was a thing called the OPM hack.
And everyone who listens to the program... I was one of the big teams of the OPM hack as I worked in the Defense Department.
Yes, myself as well.
Government employees and people who even are employed by the government in other states, not necessarily in the South.
It's okay, they offered me like one month free of, what was it, personal identity, digital insurance.
Yeah, you're squared away.
Yeah, an easy day.
No, not at all.
And so, that was the Office of Personnel Management hack, so they can get your addresses, they can get social security numbers.
China was linked to this hack.
Now, another hack China was linked to, the Marriott hack.
Where do DOD personnel stay when they go across the country?
They stay in Marriott.
How do people travel?
Travel patterns.
That's an interesting thing for a hostile foreign adversary to grab up.
Equifax.
Okay, what is this?
Insurance data?
Interesting.
Chinese state actors were linked to that hack as well.
The Anthem hack.
Healthcare information.
China was linked to that as well.
Then you look at TikTok.
TikTok is a veritable treasure trove of this data.
It's like all of this data that they've gone through such lengths to hack, but right there for the taking.
It's like that on steroids.
It gives approximate locations if you use TikTok.
There is a point where if you had an Android device, what TikTok was collecting was the unique device identifier of your phone.
So that's like the digital fingerprint for your phone.
Exactly.
And I've been told that even if you delete the app, you're still susceptible.
Is that correct?
And that's the whole point, is when you tie the use of your app to a hard equipment number
or unique identifier, then even if you delete the app and you had an Android phone when
it was collecting this information, they've got you dead to rights.
So they've got your physical handsets.
They've got your location.
They've got your your actual face They've got all sorts of your keystroke rhythms how you actually type into your phone This is insane the level of granularity of information that they're able to collapse Let's go to the other side, let's red team it.
Why would China want to know how Americans are inputting personal data onto their own personal phones?
What utility is that to the biggest communist nation in the world?
Oh, well, there's a reason why I had that long prelude of thinking back to 2014-2015 timeframe, and you look at these seemingly disparate datasets, we come to a little thing called artificial intelligence.
Because we are able to use these emerging technologies to parse through what we call big data, you can integrate those datasets, and you could have a comprehensive dossier on Any American that has been subject to these data exploitation and collection practices.
They've got you completely.
This is, as a former intelligence officer, this would be my dream.
And to have that comprehensive data profile, how you behave online, your digital behavioral profile too, along with your immutable physical characteristics, What can't you do with that?
The potential is absolutely limitless.
And then when you look at China, when you look at the bellicosity that's coming out
of the party state right now when it comes to our allies in Taiwan, if we, if American
service members are in a hot war with China, then they've got exactly where they stayed,
where they have stayed, their travel patterns, what they look like, who they're connected
to, the potentials for compromise, for blackmail, for espionage, for actual physical harm are,
it's limitless.

OK, I'm going to do something a little bit different here with regards to how you've painted the picture of TikTok, which is tied in inextricably with the Communist Party, the Central Committee of Communist China.
And just kind of red team it, because you've painted an incredibly depressing picture, a frightening picture of millions of Americans having their data Kind of willingly, just taken from them by this app.
We've been told for the longest time, the conventional wisdom carter is that, you know, even the Japanese or the Chinese, they can imitate our products, whether it's cars or something else, but they don't have the innovation that we do.
That's why only one nation has gone to the moon, America.
Why have we not created something like this to deal with enemy populations?
How did they come up?
How did China, which 40 years ago was a developing nation at best, come up with the number one social media app for children, which is in fact a spying tool?
Do you understand the genesis?
How did that come about?
Are they that good?
Well, China's always been at the bleeding edge of using technology and digital surveillance to shape behavior.
You look at what they do in the Xinjiang region against the Uyghur minorities.
I mean, they've been using all sorts of technology, you know, a combination of Human intelligence, signals intelligence, all sorts of what we call ints in the intelligence community.
So not just data, not just technology, but they have been using their people as guinea pigs for this type of work for so long that I would say maybe they haven't perfected it, but they're doing a really, really good job of using digital technologies for behavioral influence, again, to shape behavior, to try to make their populations either say what they want them to say, think how they want them to think, and behave how they want them to behave.
It's for, in a lot of ways, I would say it started as internal control.
You know they were doing this in Xinjiang as a counterterrorism mechanism and that's how they justify it from Chinese
official standpoints. But they have things like data doors. You go through a specific door if
you want to travel anywhere around Xinjiang and it pulls all of your device information. They have
those sorts of license plate detectors and they integrate all of this data. They even get so granular
as to have people sitting in homes saying, oh you use too much electricity today.
Are you harboring potential terrorists?
Are you harboring too many people?
Oh, you used too much toilet paper today.
This is according to some of the Human Rights Watch reporting.
And then they have a thing called the Integrated Joint Operations Platform, the IJOP, where they integrate all of this data and they flag potential dissidents or people for additional scrutiny.
Is this beyond the social credit system or is this part and parcel of the social credit system?
This is beyond the social credit system because they have that extensive crackdown in that region in particular.
You took the words out of my mouth when it came to the social credit system.
That genesis was originally from financial companies like Sesame and it ballooned into beyond pilot programs in certain provinces where now it's sort of looking at the entire nation saying Oh, if you jaywalked, we're gonna throw your visage up on a screen and publicly shame you.
Which is totally Orwellian.
Exactly.
If you behave the wrong way, you pay a penalty.
Oh yeah, and not just you pay a penalty, but you're unable to be a real citizen with the privileges of regular citizens.
Like traveling.
Like traveling.
Like getting a government loan.
Like getting specific types of jobs.
They had a series of red lists, black lists, gray lists, and whatnot, and that's how they built out this system using technology, cameras, AI-driven facial recognition systems, all integrated to do this.
Not perfect, but they have had so many years to perfect these types of technologies and use them against their own people.
Of course they're exporting this.
Of course they're using the Belt and Road Initiative to bring these technologies to other companies.
And yes, TikTok in particular, the 4U algorithm, as I've always said since as early as 2019,
this is their secret sauce.
Yes, we have innovative companies in America that are attempting to figure out, you know,
what is special about that algorithm, potentially replicate it or build their own.
But for now, because China has had their guinea pigs, their population to work when it comes to using technology
for behavioral shaping, they've got a head start.
4U is the name of the algorithm that drives TikTok.
TikTok's algorithm.
So they have this captured totalitarian society.
Therefore, millions of people, hundreds of millions of people can be the guinea pigs to perfect what they deploy in TikTok on us.
And by the way, TikTok isn't allowed in China.
And that should tell you something.

So, there were reports, I'm sure you verified them, or you can tell us that they're not true, that when this bill was before the House last week, because of a prompt That every TikTok user in America was forced to watch when they went on to their phone that said, call your congressman now!
Stop them from killing TikTok!
There were kids, there were teenagers calling Congress saying, don't ban my app or I'll commit suicide.
This happened, right, Cara?
Yes, according to Matthew Foley's amazing reporting.
And that, I didn't even get into this yet.
So we haven't even really scratched the surface of how bad this is, especially when it comes to potential influence campaigns.
We know in the 2022 midterms, TikTok served divisive information to its U.S.
users.
And in a lot of ways, they promoted Democrat candidates over Republican candidates, too.
We have reporting on that.
So they also attempted, they actually told the Chinese linked entity, media entity, actually
asked TikTok way back when if they can start serving influence to U.S. users.
And TikTok said, no, no, we didn't do it.
But there's so much in the ensuing two years that we saw behind the scenes that the CCP
looks like this information is very favorable to them and they want to sow discord.
They want to actually stoke division.
Something that people complained about in 2016, remember of the, um, uh,
There was the scandal and Facebook and Cambridge Analytica and whatever came in that.
No, this is actually happening.
This is what the Chinese Communist Party is doing.
And crickets, right?
Crickets in the lefty media, in the legacy media.
So that to me is one thing.
Again, we haven't even scratched the surface.
That's sort of a political content thing.
What it's doing in terms of suicidal ideation, like you mentioned, kids threatening to kill themselves.
Well, and the transgender movement.
And the transgender movement.
I mean, I think the primary driver of that is TikTok.
Oh, precisely.
Yeah, as Abigail Schreier has said before, you know, social media in general lights a fire under these social contagions.
And TikTok, they've partnered with trans activists.
They encourage people to put their pronouns in their bios.
All of which would be banned in China.
Oh, it is banned in China!
It doesn't even exist in Douyin, the version in China.
Yeah, as other people have reported on, Tristan Harris is really good about this, saying it's sort of like spinach and healthy and, you know, STEM and educational videos, whereas here, no, it's depression, it's suicidal ideation, again, it's eating disorder content, it's the trans nonsense that they're pushing and pushing and pushing on these platforms.
And a good experiment, I won't interrupt you, I know you want to say something, but I think
this is worth propagating to your audience.
There was a 13 and 14-year-old, there are journalists who registered as 13 to 14-year-olds
in the West, in UK, and they found no less than eight minutes after registering as 13
and 14-year-old girls, they were served torrents of that suicidal content, depression content,
eating disorder content.
So if you were a hostile foreign adversary, this is the perfect weapon to really target
the youth of the next generation of citizens of your enemy nation.
Now, given what you've said, it sounds like it should be banned, it should be shredded
and set alight and buried.
But this bill doesn't do that.
It says this has to be sold to a US entity, and also gives the current president almost
plenary function or power to deem other social media platforms a threat to national security
and then to have their ownership changed.
What is your response to those who say this bill doesn't go far enough because it could be sold to another woke company, Zuckerberg if you will, and also gives too much power to the executive to censor other platforms?
Well, the last characterization I disagree with, I don't think it gives too much power to the executive.
And I do want to say, especially to your listeners and your viewers, you know, no one is more sensitive to the weaponization of government than myself.
Worked in the intelligence community for a long time, worked at Facebook, and found that a lot of these tools are now being turned inward upon conservatives like myself.
And so we at the Heritage Foundation have been banging the drum on this weaponization for so long, so very, very sensitive to these But there is that line about the president in the bill.
Yep.
So, but.
And we helped work on this bill, on some of the content and whatnot, saw a lot of the drafts, were very, very cautious of this and talked to a lot of the authors of this bill.
And what we found is all of this is written in statute, right?
So, if the president wants to designate anything a national security threat, It can't be a fake national security threat like DHS said
back in February of 2022 spreading COVID misinformation as a national security threat.
No, not at all.
This does not allow for that.
What it does, it has four hostile nations written out in statute, Title 10 of the U.S.
Code.
North Korea, Iran, Russia, China.
Any company that can be designated a national security threat has to be controlled by one of these four nations.
So it can't even just be domiciled there or incorporated there.
It has to be controlled like TikTok.
And the other general criticism that you could sell it to a US company and they could be woke?
Okay, so this is on the other side.
So, the bill is very narrow, and when people are saying this is overly broad, the contention with the bill is that it is too narrow, and that's exactly the data point that I think you rightfully bring up.
Then we'll have to contend with that if it gets sold to a meta down the road.
So that does concern you.
Again, the Heritage Foundation has been so bullish against Big Tech.
But it's a separate question.
This is a very specific, narrow, national security-focused bill.
Then we can work on the Big Tech platforms later.
I'm very, very concerned about that.
That's what gets me up in the morning every day, frankly.

And the other thing I saw was I watched this commercial.
There's an actual commercial for it.
You know what the nun doesn't talk about?

Never mentions the word Catholic.
She talks about spirituality and these vague conceptions.
But you know what?
She doesn't say Jesus.
And she's a nun.
She's a bride of Christ, right?
And yet... So I think this is so hypocritical.
Again... Isn't it worse than that?
I mean aren't you, I mean there's a phrase from the Cold War Useful Idiot, you've actually made yourself as a nun, the phrase is correct that you use, a bride of Christ, you've made yourself a tool of a regime that has Lao Gai prison camps.
Yep, that is committing genocide, as our government said when Trump was in power.
Committing genocide.
And you look at all of these ads, they are specifically geared toward people like us, believers, people of faith, conservatives.
They are veterans and whatnot.

And I see this as cheap ploys.

They're like, OK, we can try to turn the conservatives, because conservatives are traditionally China hawks.
We traditionally do not like communism.
But if they can get us on board, then they can take over.
That's a massive problem.
They've already got the commies with the left, right?
They just need to convince people of our cohort.
There is some interesting sort of background here.
Not purely vetted, but we've seen reports that a lot of these ads and whatnot are not in these companies, that veteran companies, disabled veterans, are not doing as well as they try to pretend they are on commercials, on networks, and things like that.
I think there's a lot more than meets the eye when it comes to TikTok and some of their advertising efforts, but clearly this is in the clutches of the Chinese Communist Party.
You look at the CEO, he was quaking in his boots.
He looked worried.
He looked scared that I'm going to have to talk about Muslims being persecuted in China.
What's going to happen to me when I go back to China?
All right, let's go even darker than Catholics being pawns of a communist regime.
I think I saw a clip of you in an upcoming movie.
Can you talk to us, not about the national security threat of social media and platforms like TikTok, but talk to us about how the biggest trafficking tool, especially for trafficking children for sexual purposes, is social media.
Is that correct?
Yeah, I would say it is.
And thus far, a lot of the research efforts have been focused on platforms like Instagram, where they have, according to state attorneys general, 43
are suing MEDA for some of these reasons.
They're exploiting children.
And they insist that these companies are actively targeting vulnerable kids
because they're saying, OK, they have a psychological profile that is going to make them more addicted to these
platforms, that is going to maximize our growth when it comes to this
demographic.
So, you know, there's that aspect of a psyche and then there's the physical targeting of children where... Well, this is my question.
Is it a case of, and you know it better as a former intelligence officer, is it a case of, you know, one-off perverts using a platform?
Or is the argument that these are trafficking organizations that are using these social media platforms?
Because that's much worse.
Yeah, I think both have been known to use a variety of these social media platforms.
And I saw something really, really interesting.
And I'm totally going to parrot this man, I think it was Sean Ryan, who basically said, when you give your kid a phone, you're not giving your kid access to the world, you're giving the world access to your kid.
And as a mom, a new mom, that hit me like a ton of bricks.
That's the truth.
And that's what these social media platforms are doing.
They allow bad actors, they help facilitate some of their bad actions.
And that's gonna happen in life, right?
Like you said, we're fallen, like we are infallible, we are fallible human beings, and yet, You know, these tools make it a lot easier to go to the darker places that you mentioned.
Well, or I'd go back to what Sean Ryan said.
It's not that I or my child wants to go to that darker place, but you've opened the door for the dark forces to access your child.
I mean, it's like, you know, there are certain things one doesn't do in life.
Because you're opening the door to the devil and in this case, it's you know, the real devil or it's the CCP or it's a evil human man or an organization.
I love that phrase.
I'm gonna I'm gonna you know, just feed it as well.
It's your child.
It's your grandchild.
Don't put something in their hand that you cannot control and which allows literally Anyone in the world to contact and access your child.
That's how you think about it.

Because you're former, what are you, like DIA?
I was with DIA.
Former Defense Intelligence Agency, worked with all the guys at Dam Neck, if you know what that means.
This is from Bloomberg.
Federal agencies warn of cyber attacks against water systems throughout the nation.
I don't want to scare anybody in the last two minutes, but If I look at the power generation system, if I look at the lack of Faraday secured systems across America, now it's supposed to be water.
Give us a grade for how naked and unprepared we are for a sustained professional nation-state sponsored cyber attack.
Give us a grade.
I would say D, maybe plus.
These hostile nation states have been probing our networks, saying, hey, we can get it, seeing what they can get away with, for years and years and years.
And from what I see, we've done nothing to stop them.
Where would it begin?
If we get the right person back in the White House, do you spend gobs of money with new feasibility studies, or are there some easy first fixes we can do?
Yeah, I think number one, you shore up your critical infrastructure.
So you do that, and what CISA is too busy focusing on Americans and policing their speech.
What's CISA?
This is the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency that is tasked with shoring up our cyber security.
With censoring conservatives.
Yeah, it appears that they've moved the aperture of their mission set, and that's what they're doing.

Yeah, let's start there and let's make sure that those are shored up when it comes to cybersecurity.
There's a lot of good Americans that are working on this behind the scenes right now, but guess what?
They're all Trump holdouts.
So they're all Trump people.
So if we can get conservatives in there, those guys should be given a very long leash to save the nation.
Well, it's up to you guys.
We're going to make sure that the right guys win.
President Trump and then his new team.
And maybe we could have somebody called Cara Frederick on that team as well.
