Get Off My Lawn - Gavin McInnes - S4E253 - SUB-ANARCHY Aired: 2023-05-15 Duration: 04:59 === Great Band, Great Problem (04:45) === [00:00:13] Live from New York, it's Get Off My Lawn with Gavin McInnes. [00:00:20] They never last too long, and when I think of things, they always turn out wrong. [00:00:24] Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh. [00:00:35] When they say something, nobody meets me. [00:00:38] When they trip by myself, everybody makes it up. [00:00:41] And when they say something, you always suck it up. [00:00:44] And when I try to help, it never is enough. [00:00:52] Great band. [00:00:54] Great band. [00:00:55] They could stand and make a lot of money. [00:00:58] There's few things more lucrative than the young girl dollar. [00:01:03] No one spends more money than young girls. [00:01:06] And I think what happened was there was some sort of like concert, battle of the band silly thing. [00:01:11] And they made this band out of paper mache and stuck some people together with band-aid tape. [00:01:20] What the fuck is band-aid tape? [00:01:22] And then it was so incredibly popular, they said, okay, let's actually make this a real band. [00:01:27] And so they started, you know, getting real drummers. [00:01:30] And the fact that there are so many Asians in it is just a coincidence. [00:01:33] Don't mean nothing. [00:01:35] They're all LA people. [00:01:37] How was your weekend, Ryan? [00:01:39] Oh, I. It was good. [00:01:41] Oh, I means yes. [00:01:42] Thanks for giving away the green screen. [00:01:44] That never happened, so I don't know what you mean. [00:01:46] Just taking a note for no reason. [00:01:48] What did you do? [00:01:49] Oh, me? [00:01:50] Well, I actually did do a good amount. [00:01:54] So I visited the in-laws yesterday. [00:01:57] Orange. [00:01:58] And then I went to, this was pretty nuts. [00:02:01] I can't really talk about much of this because it's like private people. [00:02:07] But I went to the friend that passed away's tribute. [00:02:11] So they had a memorial thing. [00:02:12] He's got a foundation for the disease he died of. [00:02:15] So it was a good event there. [00:02:17] Saw lots of people that I hadn't seen in years and years and years. [00:02:20] It's all a secret. [00:02:22] It's a secret what happened. [00:02:24] So there was a little bit of a. [00:02:26] I could skip to the part that's actually interesting. [00:02:28] So there was a disagreement about something. [00:02:33] One of the members in my friend's band, the drummer of my friend's band, he said, I heard about you. [00:02:42] I know what kind of guy you are. [00:02:44] Oh, you're a fascist. [00:02:45] I was like, oh, interesting. [00:02:46] Okay. [00:02:47] And this happened. [00:02:49] I tried to shake his hand. [00:02:50] I was like, hey, man, good set. [00:02:51] And I knew this guy for years, but I hadn't talked to him. [00:02:54] And I was like, bro, I knew you for years. [00:02:55] You're not going to shake my hand. [00:02:56] I went to go shake his hand. [00:02:57] He said, shit, I know about you. [00:02:59] And I was like, I've known you for years, dude. [00:03:01] He's like, we've jammed once. [00:03:03] And I was like, that's a good point. [00:03:05] You made me feel so stupid. [00:03:07] I was like, yeah, but that was years ago. [00:03:09] And technically, I'm shrinking. [00:03:11] And I was like, I know you for years, but whatever. [00:03:13] So I was like, okay, fine. [00:03:14] And he starts walking out to unload his shit to the car. [00:03:17] And I start following him. [00:03:18] I was like, you know what? [00:03:18] I had a couple beers in me, which is rare. [00:03:21] And I was like, you're a pussy, by the way. [00:03:23] I don't know if you knew that. [00:03:24] Did you know that? [00:03:25] And I'm just antagonizing him. [00:03:26] That's a good tactic. [00:03:27] The best defense is a good offense. [00:03:29] Yeah. [00:03:30] I was like, I don't think you really do know about me. [00:03:32] I'm actually a really nice guy, but I know for sure that you're a pussy because you wouldn't just shake my hand. [00:03:35] Perfect. [00:03:36] Yeah, and then I kept following him. [00:03:37] Fish kissed. [00:03:38] Now, fish kiss. [00:03:40] And now I'm at the car, my buddy's car, well, I'm friends with the bassist. [00:03:45] And then they're all standing around there, and I keep calling him a pussy. [00:03:50] And he's like, dude, you have an ego like ice. [00:03:52] And I was like, what? [00:03:54] What? [00:03:55] I don't know what that means. [00:03:56] That's the worst comeback in the history of comebacks. [00:04:00] And that sounds cool. [00:04:01] Yeah. [00:04:02] In fact, at my kids' baseball games, at my youngest baseball game, the reason I'm always red these days is because I'm watching kids baseball all weekend, so I'm just sunburnt. [00:04:11] But my wife was yelling out, he's got ice in his veins. [00:04:15] Like at a pitcher who was really good. [00:04:17] Yeah, that's good. [00:04:18] It's good to have ice and ego. [00:04:19] Those are all good things. [00:04:21] And ego is supposed to be dissolved for the most part. [00:04:25] You don't want an ego made of glass. [00:04:27] I mean, of steel. [00:04:28] Yeah, your ego is made of like balsa wood. [00:04:31] You're fragile. [00:04:32] Right. [00:04:33] Ice is also fragile, but I'm not saying that I have to. [00:04:35] It's not that fragile. [00:04:37] An iceberg is not that fragile. [00:04:38] It took down the Titanic. [00:04:39] Yeah, imagine it. [00:04:40] Ew. [00:04:40] Imagine if I came back and I was like, yeah, the iceberg that sunk the Titanic. [00:04:45] He'd be like, you're actually gay now, too. [00:04:47] We're both gay. [00:04:48] We should kiss. [00:04:48] So anyway, I'm like, hey, is there any if I call you? [00:04:52] And now my buddy's like, what's going on here? [00:04:54] I was like, I'm just calling your drummer a pussy because he wouldn't shake my hand. [00:04:57] He's like, I was like, unless you have a problem with me.
