I know two things to be true.
And I want to take you through my thinking on what got me to these two things that are true.
And I have not heard this anywhere else, but I think if it's true, if it's right, it's the most important thing that you need to hear.
Because the two things that I think are true is this is about regime change.
Just not the way everyone thinks.
I'll explain that.
And in 1940, FDR said, we are building the great arsenal of democracy.
He said that after France fell.
I have a feeling, without stating that, we're in 1940.
Donald Trump is building the great arsenal of democracy.
And I'll explain both of those.
And believe me, if they're true, this is the most important thing you can understand and spend time on today.
We'll do that in 60 seconds.

Now, let me, I said to you yesterday a couple of things.
This is about oil, but it's not, Venezuela is not about us and our oil corporations.
What this is about is China and starving China of energy.
If you starve China of energy and especially oil, and we went through all the facts and figures yesterday, if you missed it, just look for it.
I think it's trending today on X. Listen to that monologue and you'll understand it.
I also said this wasn't about regime change because they left the regime in place.
We have more on that.
Hopefully I'll be able to get to that later today.
Let me clarify because I have a new understanding of things.
Now, I want to say up front that this is a theory.
I don't have any insider information.
I just have this gut that this is probably right.
And I may be giving the Trump administration too much credit for this.
I will tell you, I don't know who his advisors are.
I mean, I know who's around him, but this is some of the most brilliant stuff.
If I'm right on this, this is some of the most brilliant things I've ever seen.
Because as I said yesterday, you know the old phrase, kill two birds with one stone.
He's killed, I said yesterday, like 40 birds.
I think we're up to about 1,000 birds that I can find.
With one stone, Venezuela, he is knocking all of these birds out.
And it is putting us into a position of A, regime change, and B, the great arsenal of democracy.
Let me explain.
Start with regime change.
He's not changing a regime.
He's changing the global regime.
Who runs the global regime?
There's two things.
One, China.
China, Russia, Iran.
They're running what I would call the Axis powers.
You have to start thinking, as I told you last year, we're in World War III.
You just don't know it yet.
We're in a Cold War.
Hope to God it never becomes a hot war.
But what Donald Trump is building is this arsenal so it doesn't go into a hot war.
FDR waited too long.
At the pace that Donald Trump is running, it may not be too late.
But what is the regime?
One, China.
There are only three choices of where this all ends.
Because everybody's economy is falling apart.
The whole system is falling apart.
It doesn't work anymore.
Okay.
One, China, Russia, Iran.
Two, the WEF.
The WEF is the Great Reset.
That is a global government run by oligarchs and businesses and banks.
The ones that are doing it, WEF, read my book, The Great Reset, and all of the oligarchs and the banking system, who's the big foe of the United States right now in Europe.
It's certainly not, you know, France.
It's Christine Lagarde, the central banker of Europe, the European central bank.
She's the one that is coordinating all of the currencies, everything that's going on to bring them into this fascistic WEF world.
So those are your two choices.
Donald Trump has come up with another choice, and that is America first, which is bucking the entire system.
It's saying we're not going to go with the WEF.
We're not going to be run by corporations and a bunch of faceless people and all these oligarchs.
No.
And we're not going to be run by the Chinese, and we're not going to go that road.
We believe in America and the American system.
That's the regime change.
He's overthrowing what the Western world was doing, the WEF, the Great Reset.
We were all in on that.
All that global warming, all of that red tape, he's throwing all of that out.
We're not doing any of that.
We're going here.
I believe Donald Trump has given up on Europe.
It's over.
They can go their own way.
They're going the wrong direction.
They're never going to change.
It's over.
He has written the Far East off as communist communist China run.
And the Middle East, he's negotiating with everybody.
He's negotiating in some places where I'm like, I don't like that.
I don't like what you're doing.
Why are you negotiating with these people at the table?
Because he's trying to build the arsenal of the West.
He's taking our foes and trying to make them as much of allies, kind of like what we did with Stalin.
Bring them in enough so they don't fall on the other side.
Okay?
Now, let me tell you how I got here.
Marco Rubio said the other day, we're going after the cartels and the oligarchs.
And how I heard that was, we're going after the cartels.
I'm like, oh.
And I didn't even pay attention to the second half of that sentence.
I paid attention to the cartels.
Okay.
If I'm a cartel, and this is the way our American president and the whole global system has always played this.
Let's just start.
What is a cartel?
How does a cartel work?
You have a mob boss, if you will, and they are going to sell something that is illegal, be that people or drugs.
They're going to do illegal things.
So what does the cartel boss need?
The cartel boss needs mules to move product, needs enforcers to keep people in line, and they need the workers, the chemists and everybody else, to actually procure and make the product, right?
That's where you start.
To keep that going, however, as you grow, you also need the cops, the judges, and the politicians.
You got to have them in your pocket.
Otherwise, they'll shut you down.
If you have those things, this is where all presidents and everybody else stops.
Where are we doing?
We're going into Venezuela.
We're going to get the kingpin of the cartel.
We're going to go in and we're going to get Maduro.
He's the kingpin of the cartel.
True.
Absolutely true.
And we're going to send a message to the other politicians and the judges and the cops and the other cartels.
We're watching you.
But what happens?
Once America stops watching it, it just grows again, right?
Over and over again.
We've been talking about this system forever.
Let me go back to the cartel.
What is a cartel?
Because there's one part we never ever talk about.
We never talk about it.
What is the other thing a cartel must have to be successful?
The banks.
They must have the banks.
Remember, they have the politician.
Let's think of this as Epstein.
Epstein, in his last couple of years, moved $13 billion, $13 billion.
Somebody check on that.
$13 billion.
He moved it.
There were like 70, what are called yellow tickets.
Whenever the banks spot money being moved into offshore accounts, et cetera, et cetera, and they are like, something illegal is going on here, it automatically generates a yellow ticket.
You move $10,000 out of your bank and you do it every Friday, a yellow ticket is going to come up with the bank and it will go right to the treasury.
And the treasury then says, officers, go look into this.
Something funny is going on.
Well, he had like 70 yellow tickets.
You can't move that much money into offshore accounts without the bank knowing.

The treasury knew, but for some reason, neither the bank nor the treasury did anything about those yellow tickets.
So is the problem just Epstein?

We got some of the bad guys, but we didn't get the bad guys that made it all possible.
We didn't go after the bank.
We didn't go after the treasury.
What the hell happened here?

Let me tie this back now to the cartels and to we're going after the cartels and the oligarchs.
Maybe I'm giving them too much credit, but I hope this is true.

And this is the part I hope is true.
So who are the oligarchs?
Who are the people that actually run the world?
The billionaires.
The oligarch, oligarch, oligarchy is a system run by the few.
Who are the few?
The powerful.
How do you become powerful?
Money.
Lots and lots of money.
Oligarchs, we always look at Russian oligarchs.
They're billionaires, right?
Well, the billionaires, they have to have the banks.
And many times those billionaires are in league with the banks.
And when you look at the WEF, all of those giant corporations, they're being told what to do by the banks.
That's the whole great reset.
The bank will tell you what to do.
Okay, so you have the banks.
And when I talk bank, I'm talking about the international banks.
I'm talking about the central banks.
I told you, biggest foe of Trump and freedom is the central bank of Europe.
One of the biggest foes for our economy, according to Donald Trump, is the Fed.
And the Fed controls everything.
They're the banking system.
They're the ones that keep getting the bailouts.
They're the ones that are moving all of the money for the Somalians.
Nobody in the bank wanted to question how millions of dollars were leaving the banks in Minnesota to be transferred over to Somalia.
There was no yellow ticket that nothing, really?
Because if I were sending millions of dollars over to Somalia, I would imagine my bank would call and go, hey, can I ask you what's going on with you in Somalia?
There's nothing?
Nothing.
Wow, that's really hard to believe.
And if that is what happened, their banks had no idea.
Well, then we have to really think about our banks.
Okay, the Fed is Donald Trump's one of his biggest foes, at least on the economy.
Where most likely is the money for the cartels?
The cartel's money most likely is in the Cayman Islands, okay?
Offshore accounts in the Cayman Islands, it's all secret.
But who set that up?
That's the London banking system.
Who was the head?
This is where my head goes.
And I'm sorry, this could all just be crazy dots put together.
But who used to be the head of the Central Bank of London?
Who ran that?
I'll give you a hint.
He's now the Premier of Canada.
He's the Prime Minister of Canada, Mark Carney.
He was never a politician.
He was the head of the Central Bank of London.
And then he moves over to Canada and he becomes the Prime Minister of Canada.

I'm not sure if that has anything to do with anything, but I was brought to Carney because something else was said in the last couple of days by Trump and by Marco Rubio.
We're going after these drug cartels and all of these evildoers, if you will, in South America.
And let's not forget about Canada because Canada plays a big role in all of this.

He also said, this is Trump, Canada, Panama, and Greenland should be protectorates of the United States.
I heard that and I went, that's Trump being Trump.
And then I thought, no, wait a minute.

And that knocks that out, that out, that out.

There is a regime change coming, but it is a third way.
It's America as the leader.
Again, put into place again that I believe we are in World War III.

But we also are fighting the communists in China.

Let me take you back to what Donald Trump said yesterday.
Canada, Panama, and Greenland, maybe they should be protectorates.

Now, I don't know how comfortable I am with all of this that I'm going to be telling you next, but I'm pretty sure this is true.
I mean, at a scale of 1 to 10 on Glenn, what do you think?
My only hesitation is I haven't prayed on this enough.
This happened last night.
It started coming to me last night.
So I haven't prayed on this enough.
But I'm pretty sure, coming from me, I'm at a nine on the 10 scale.
You know, one to 10, 10 being odd positive.
I think I'm at a nine.
But again, this is coming from me.
Canada.
Again, think of one stone, a thousand birds.
Canada is a pain in Donald Trump's ass.
Okay.
Donald Trump is a pain in the Canadian ass.
I love Canada.
I don't want problems with Canada.
I think most Americans are like, I love Canada.
I don't want anything to do with Canada.
And I certainly don't want them to be the 51st state.
We don't need that.
They don't want it.
And we shouldn't want it.
They're a great country.
This started, this whole theory started when I read something from a Canadian press yesterday.
And it said, it talked about how Canada needs, it was from Canadians and an economic paper.
And it was how Canada needs to be very concerned about what just happened in Venezuela because it could collapse, listen to me carefully, could collapse the Canadian economy.
Why?
Much of the Canadian economy is geared on oil and gas.
They built a pipeline south to us.
Now, we're not using that pipeline, but we get a lot of oil and they would like to sell us more.
And I'd like to have more Canadian oil, quite honestly.
I think that's great.
But if they don't sell it to us, because Donald Trump, again, we're not taking the Venezuelan oil that I know of.
We're using it to cripple China.
We're saying we control the oil.
Listen carefully.
We control the oil in this hemisphere.
It is not going to our enemies.
That's what he just said to Venezuela.
You're not selling it to China.
We now have a chip that Canada doesn't like.
That is, yeah, we have access to all this oil from Venezuela.
So we don't really need Canadian oil.
You want to sell it to us?
You can sell it to us.
Hey, we need you to do a couple of things for us.
Otherwise, we're not going to buy your Canadian oil.
That's really bad for Canada.
That's a big chip.
What would Canada's response be?
Well, just sell it to somebody else.
Okay.
They have an east-west pipeline, but I think it's small and it has problems because of progressives up there.
But it would take him 10 years, five to ten years to build a real pipeline to the west coast into British Columbia where you have access to the port and easy access to China.
But remember, the Moreau doctrine being taken seriously now.
No, we control the hemisphere.
You're not going to have any foreign, no foreign enemy is going to have a foothold in this hemisphere.
The United States will not tolerate Canada selling oil to China.
Where do they sell their oil?
The obvious answer is to us and South America.
Keep it in this hemisphere.
But we're going to need you to take care of your border for us.
We're going to need you to take care of some of the money that is flowing in and out of the country that is coming from communist China.
How do these were next hour?
I think it's next hour, some point today, we're going to talk about the Chinese money that is funding all of this, all of these protests in the streets.
How's all that money getting here?
It's, again, not coming in Samsonite luggage.
It's going through a bank.
If we don't take care of the banks, you can't take care of anything.
You're just eating around the corners.
That's all you're doing, is nibbling at the edges.
The center is the banking system.
Donald Trump is making sure the West has all of the assets it needs to fight and win a war with China.
He is getting all of the oil, all of the energy.
He is getting all the rare earth minerals.
That's why I said yesterday he said we don't need Greenland.
I was wrong on that.
We do, apparently.
And he's still going after Greenland.
Why?
Western hemisphere and those rare earth minerals are needed to win the AI war against China.
They cannot go anyplace else other than this hemisphere.
So he has because he has followed through on his promises.
Hey, Iran, you're going to do this.
Otherwise, I'm just going to take out your nuclear power plants.
And he did.
Hey, Venezuela, you're going to turn yourself in or we're coming to get you.
And he did.
Because he did those things.
The people who want to dismiss Donald Trump and are against the United States are now taking him seriously.
Notice there's been, I think, 50 arrests in Iran.
No, no, I'm sorry, there's been 19 deaths in Iran of protesters.
There were, I had it written down here, the last time there were 500 deaths and 20,000 people jailed.
That's not happening this time.
Why?
Because Donald Trump said, hey, you're not going to touch your protesters.
If you do, we're locked and loaded.
And they're taking him seriously.
But he has so much of that capital now in his bag and he's not afraid to use it because, as I said yesterday, he's playing to win.
You may not like it.
I may not like what some of the things he's doing or how he's doing it.
I'm not even sure if any of this is true.
I'm not sure how I feel about some of this.
Part of a big part of me is like, finally, finally, we're playing to win.
We're not playing to go, okay, well, we're going to go back and we're going to hobble it together and we're going to be our own little.
No, he's playing it to say, we are going to dominate because when America is really strong, the rest of the world can be free.
He's playing it so America has a completely new century ahead, like the 1900s.
In the 20th century, that was the American century.
He's saying this century, the 21st century, can be a new American century.
And I'm playing it to win it.
Never seen anybody do it.
And he's doing it by building the arsenal of democracy.
What was that?
FDR.
We're going to build tanks.
We're going to build guns.
We're going to build ships.
We're going to build the things that we need for war.
What is today's arsenal?
Oil, power, tech, rare earth minerals.
We're going to build the arsenal so this hemisphere does not have to worry and depend on Europe or China because they're, I really think he's written them off.
They're lost.
We're going to make sure this hemisphere stands.
That's what's really happening.

He went out with his video camera and he just showed you these are empty places.
And I think that's when people connected.
Wait a minute, my tax dollars to go help children are just being sucked off and sent into a foreign country or making these people rich.
And it's starting to spread.

It's been a crazy past week or so.
I bet it has.
I bet it has.
You are now getting death threats.
How much has your life changed?
Yeah, it's changed drastically because you wouldn't think by exposing fraud, you would really get a lot of people that come after you.
You'd think, like, for instance, you'd think the mainstream media would be happy.
You think other government officials would be happy.
But then you see them all just turn it around and make it act like you're some sort of villain, which then enrages a bunch of crazies to want to kill you.
And why do you suppose that is?
Why are they reacting the way they are?
Well, obviously, people don't like when millions of dollars are going to be exposed, especially if they're receiving some of that money.
And then, two, now it's been painted as a race issue when it's really not a race issue.
It's just about money being stolen.
And so now you're being called anti-migrant, anti-Islam, all this sort of stuff when you just did a video about fraud.
You had nothing to do with the race or the religion.
It just happens to be that 89% of the Somalian population is committing the fraud in Minnesota.
What did you do differently that made your story stand out where, you know, Chris Ruffo and as I said, Walter Kern, they've been talking about this for a long time and it connected, but it connected in the mind.
What did you do different?
Were you A, surprised that it connected the way it did?
And why do you think it did?
Yeah, I think it did because you'd always heard about the fraud.
Like when Elon was doing Doge, you heard about the fraud, but you could never physically see it with your eyes.
You heard about the contracts, but you never actually saw that the money was going there.
You never saw the effects of it or whose hands it was going into and just how blatant the fraud was.
Because this is happening all across the country.
And here in Minnesota, the fraud's so obvious that you literally just go knock on the door of the daycare and one, no one answers.
Two, if they do answer, there's no kids.
And three, if they answer, they can't even give you a brochure to enroll a child.
You know, I'm amazed at how this has happened and people don't see that the government, and quite honestly, I think the banks do, had to be involved.
The banks at least knew about it.
They just turned a blind eye.
The government, especially in Minnesota, they were absolutely part of this, were they not?
Well, you just saw Tim Waltz step down from re-election.
Yeah, hold on just a second.
Let's just take a moment and just celebrate this.
This is what he said yesterday.
Let's celebrate.
We've got conspiracy theorist right-wing YouTubers breaking into our daycares, demanding access to our children.
We've got the president of the United States demonizing our Somali neighbors and wrongfully confiscating funds that Minnesotans rely on.
It's disgusting and it's dangerous.
Okay.
So he said, I'm not going to run anymore.
I think he was talking about you, Nick.
I'm pretty sure.
Pretty sure he was.
Pretty sure he was.
Conspiracy theory.
First of all, you weren't breaking into the daycare center and asking to see our kids.
You were asking, are there any children here?
Correct?
Correct.
And how did you find these places?
Yeah, well, if you just drive around Minneapolis, they're literally nearly every single block there's a daycare.
And this man, David, he had all the information.
He had all the data.
And we just started going to some of the daycares that were around him in the neighborhood.
And they say open 7 a.m. to 10 p.m., yet there's no children.
The windows are all blacked out.
And they're receiving millions of dollars.
In that video right there, you're seeing a green building that has two daycares inside the same address receiving upwards of $5 million.
The Kash Patel came out and said the FBI is aware of recent social media reports.
Again, I think they're talking about you in Minnesota.
However, even before the public conversation escalated online, the FBI had surged personnel and investigative resources to Minnesota to dismantle large-scale fraud schemes exploiting federal programs.
They had, but they just announced, I think it was yesterday, they're going to send another 2,000 investigators and federal officials, which is fantastic.
I've never seen anything like that.
Have you been working?
Are you in contact with the FBI at all?
No, I have not.
I messaged, I put a thing out when I was on Patrick Beck David and the FBI called me.
The thing was, I was in the Uber with the, when they called me, I saw that they called me.
And so I was like, well, I'm not going to answer with the Uber guy in the car.
And so I just let it ring through.
And then by the time I got out of the Uber, so many people had called me between then and the phone call and so many messages that I couldn't figure out what phone it was, what phone number it was.
Oh, geez.
I lost the contact of the FBI.
Yeah, that's probably not the best thing.
They'll get a hold of you.
If they need to talk to you, believe me, they'll get a hold of you.
There is nothing freakier than when you look down at your phone and it's either the White House calling you or the FBI.
You're kind of like, I'm not sure I want to take this phone call right now.
Anyway, you said with Patrick Bett David, you found it surprising that they didn't have all this information already.
Yeah, because I mean, it was so obvious.
And just like, how come it was my video that surged even 2,000 more?
If millions, quite literally billions of dollars is being given to these daycare centers.
How come the government doesn't know that the money is being spent here?
And so I thought what was great about this is the HHS then went and froze all daycare payments or all child care payments until these businesses prove they're legit.
And so far, no business has been able to send an information saying they're a legit business.
It's in, I think I saw you in Ohio exposing this more in Ohio or is that not you?
No, not yet.
Not yet.
I did go back to Minnesota for part two.
Okay.
But this is all over the country.
And they just announced today the UN ambassador of Somalia is involved in all of this.
He knows about this and is involved in some of this.
They're all in on it.
Like, yeah, everyone knows.
And you talk to the Somalis and they're like, are we the only people who commit fraud?
They'll literally say, are we the only people who commit fraud?
No, and I'd like to find, do you have tips on others?
You should ask them.
Do you have tips on others?
Because we'll go after them too.

And like I said, it just so happens that the fraud being committed in Minnesota, 89% of the population committing the fraud is Somalian.
So it's really not a race issue.
It's just a fact that people are stealing millions and billions of dollars from Americans.
With Tim Walsh leaving, I think probably a lot of pressure on that one.
He knew he was in trouble, hoping that if he just goes away, because what happens to these things, they always turn political.
And so they'll get the governor out or they'll get the senator out.
And then it just doesn't go anywhere.
Who besides the governor should our government be looking into?
I think just everyone involved over at the Capitol in Minnesota and the DHS who's cutting the checks and just anybody who had ties to cutting any of the checks or just knowing what was happening.
Elon Omar, she's outside of the coffee shops and the daycares where these daycares were being found.
She has photos of her outside of Quality Learing Center with the owner of the restaurant who also is in a video with the mayor of Minneapolis going to her next daycare.
They're all in on it.
And there's no way they could not have known because as you say, the Learing Center didn't have any children in it doing any learing.
The Omar guy who was running for mayor, he was also, he had a brother-in-law or some family member who was in charge of one of the daycares that had also been receiving $2 million.
And they actually had so many violations, they shut down the daycares.
And the next day they reopened.
And that guy was about to become mayor.
And so all these people are in on the fraud.
They all know it's happening.
And I need to use the word allegedly because I don't want to get sued, but allegedly, all these people know about the fraud.

They are saying now that, well, you just went on a day when the kids weren't there because we went back a couple of days later and their kids there.
Can you talk about that at all?

So these people, their claims are so stupid because one, originally they said, well, you went during winter break.
Well, I actually didn't.
I went on December 16th.
School is still in session.
And so then I go back and while they're still in winter break, After I've exposed it, then they start funneling children.
So their original claim was, well, you went during winter break.
Well, that's not true.
And now you're here during winter break and they're bringing in children.
This is so good.
It's so funny.
Their claims make absolutely no sense.
And then, well, obviously people are going to start bringing in children.
And either way, whether it's these places are licensed for 90 to 40 children.
And for instance, one of the daycare is called ABC.
They're licensed for 40 children.
They receive more than a million dollars.
The news goes there.
They tell them they're going and there's 12 kids in there.
Well, it's licensed for 40.
There's 12 kids.
So either way, that place is receiving upwards of $90,000 per kid.
Meanwhile, parents are spending $30,000 to $70,000 a year on daycare.
That's not right.
That's still fraud.
Are you surprised at all at the reaction of the average American?
I did a monologue on, what was it?
Is today only Tuesday?
Yesterday, I did a monologue on this, and I tried to explain, this is your money.
This is your, you work three months every year to pay your taxes and you're struggling every day and you want to help kids that don't have food, et cetera.
And they are taking this and enriching themselves or sending it over to a foreign country.
And I don't understand why every American, every American isn't like, that's got to stop.
That's just wrong.
I don't care who's involved, left, right, middle.
I don't care.
So they got to go to jail.
You surprised?
I mean, the average American, they're very supportive of what's going on.
It's just the crazy leftists that are freaking out because their fraud's being exposed and they're making this a race issue and making it a political issue.
And this should be literally the most common sense issue ever that stealing is bad.
And so most general, most Americans are all happy with me.
Like people are coming up to me and saying thank you.
But then you also get the crazies that are looking at you like they want to kill you inside the airport.
And so it's actually insane to think that some people will be mad that fraud's being exposed.

If you start to want it, get out.

If they're threatening your life, take them at their word.

It's good to get away from DC Swamp.
We're back in the action now, but having a great break.
Boy, it's been a busy few days with the president.
It never really slows down with him.
No, I want to talk.
He likes it that way.
It keeps things exciting.
I know.
He's good at that.
I want to talk to you a little bit about the Constitution because I think the president was careful on this.
It wasn't regime change.
It was a DOJ arrest.
It wasn't war.
Did the president violate or do anything that was uncomfortable for the founders on this action?
Look, Operation Absolute Resolve was one of the most successful executions of a high-profile international arrest in U.S. history.
And this is the kind of mission that U.S. joint forces are uniquely skilled at carrying out.
Not a single U.S. operator was killed.
No U.S. equipment was lost.
U.S. joint forces waited for the right moment for the operation and executed the arrest flawlessly.
And this is why I got a phone call at 3 a.m. the night this happened from Secretary Rubio.
And he said, look, Mike, I know you follow these things carefully.
I know you always have concerns that we go by the book as far as the Constitution is concerned.
I wanted to let you know how this went down.
And he said the U.S. military involvement, the kinetic action on the ground, was there for one purpose and one purpose alone, which was to protect the U.S. personnel who are executing this arrest warrant from an actual or imminent attack to make sure that they were safe.
They went in, they went out, and he said, we don't contemplate any further military action there.
So in light of those circumstances, this was an execution of a duly authorized arrest warrant based on U.S. criminal charges.
And he's now going to face those charges.
Under those circumstances, this is not war.
This is not war.
Now, remember that the President of the United States and Congress have authority that sometimes intersects, sometimes overlaps a little bit, and sometimes there's ambiguity as to where one begins and the other ends.
The president has authority under Article 2 as the Commander-in-Chief to, among other things, repel an actual imminent attack on the United States and its personnel.
Congress, for its part, has the power to declare war.
President Trump is not attempting to go to war with Venezuela.
That is not the intent here.
That is not the effect.
And to my knowledge, there's no plan for ongoing military action there.
This was an execution of a U.S. arrest warrant.
That's what they did.
Have we ever done it before?
There are examples we can point to, including Manuel de Loriega.
I believe that was back in 1990.
He was arrested on U.S. criminal charges.
There are different circumstances, obviously, in every case, but they went in there, they executed the arrest warrant, and they got out.
And that's what happened here.
So, Mike, I'm going to send you something I did in hour number one today because I think the president is reshaping the globe.
And this Venezuela thing, it's not like killing two birds with one stone.
He's knocked out about a thousand birds with one stone.
It's quite genius.
If I'm right, I may be giving him too much credit.
I don't think so.
If I'm right, he is reshaping the whole world.
And this was really a very important strategic play.
But he said yesterday, you know, maybe Canada and what did he say?
Canada, Panama, and Greenland should be a United States protectorate.
And I take him seriously at that, because I think I see a grander strategy.
I'm concerned because I don't know the Constitution like you know the Constitution.
Are you concerned?
Are you seeing anything?
What does it mean to become a protectorate of the United States?
I don't know.
And that's the thing.
Without knowing more details of what he's got in mind, it's difficult to say whether there are any constitutional ramifications there.
Obviously, if war is contemplated, we need authorization from Congress for that.
But there are lots of things short of war and lots of things within his power to work toward that don't involve war and wouldn't necessarily require an authorization for the use of military force.
But all that said, look, I tend to agree with you that there is an intersection of like 10 different interests that the United States has.
And this underscores the fact that I really appreciate President Trump's reprioritization of the Western hemisphere to keep Americans safe from our enemies, including from narco-terrorists, in our own hemisphere, and to make sure that China, Iran, Russia, you name it, any other foe that we have on the world stage doesn't gain much of a foothold within our own hemisphere.
The Monroe Doctrine is a great thing, and I think subsequent generations might well refer to it as the Trump-Monroe Doctrine or something along those lines, because he seems determined to reinvigorate that.
I think it's important, as we've been stretched too thin all over the globe, I think it's important to focus much more on the Western hemisphere than we have in the past.
So his idea is you're not going to sell any foreign oil to China.
What if Canada decides, you know, we're going to sell some foreign oil to China?
What would that mean?
I don't know.
And I don't know whether he plans on having that policy with regard to all nations in the Western Hemisphere or how he would go about enforcing it or whether he would go about enforcing it at all.
So that remains to be seen.
But particularly in the case of Venezuela, Venezuela, which has in the very recent past been far too comfortable interacting with a lot of our enemies on the world stage, it's understandable that he would express that preference.
Just a couple of other questions.
Did Marco Rubio call other senators or why did he call you?
I would imagine that he did.
I saw a post from Susan Collins indicating that she had spoken to him.
I'm sure he called others.
But look, Marco and I are good friends.
We've been friends for the last 16 years.
We were elected to the U.S. Senate at the same time in 2010.
He and I were born exactly seven days apart, and we have a lot of common interests.
And we talk all the time about all sorts of things, including the importance of following the Constitution when it comes to the war power.
I've talked to him about Venezuela in particular and our actions in that region.
So it was not surprising at all that he called me.
It is remarkable.
Last time I saw him, he was in the hallway in front of the Oval, and I said, Marco, you know, I've been a fan of yours for a long time, but what has happened to you?
Like, he's turned into like this, I don't know, almost like this superhero of liberty.
And he's like, it's like he is just knocking it out of the park, everything that he does.
And he said, no, no, no, it's not me, it's the president.
I don't think that's true.
I mean, I think it's true that he's marching to the tune of the president, but he's changed in a good way, don't you think?
Well, he has taken on a new set of responsibilities and seems to be adding to those all the time.
And I think that speaks well to how well Marco interacts with others, including and especially the president.
Anyone who knows him, who works with him closely, can't help but like and deeply respect him.
Marco is absolutely brilliant.
He's got an amazing mind.
He knows Latin America like the back of his hand.
He understands foreign relations and military affairs like few others that I've ever met.
And so it's not by accident or by sheer force of personality or coincidence that Marco Rubio, having been made Secretary of State, has continued to wield more influence and develop more of a following.
This is someone who, from the moment I met him, I knew was destined for greatness.
And I'm very happy for him.
Remember, just a few years ago, I believe the Venezuelan government, under Maduro's leadership, put a bounty on his head, tried to have him killed.
And so this is interesting to see all of this come to full fruition with him serving as Secretary of State and simultaneously as national security advisor to President Trump.
It's quite a remarkable turn of events, and I'm very happy for him.
With all the problems.

Yeah, him in various garbage, Venezuelan ceremonial clothing, wondering what his new title will be.
You know, when I saw Maduro coming in, I was like, oh, this is a great move.
And then I saw these going to the Southern District of New York, and I'm like, wait, wait, that thing is riddled with problems.
How confident are you?
Have you read the evidence against him?
And how confident are you that this is a solid case?
Well, look, they wouldn't have brought it if they didn't feel confident about the evidence that they've got against him.
And I've got full confidence in our Department of Justice personnel.
Jay Clinton of the U.S. Attorney's Office in the U.S. District in the Southern District of New York.
They're going to do great work there.
Some have expressed concerns regarding the jury pool there and whether or not we'll face a potential jury nullification problem there.
I am confident that they're going to do their very best to do this.
Now, prosecutors in the indictment allege that Maduro and his wife and their son and their accomplices engaged in cocaine trafficking and they partnered with cartels designated as terrorist groups.
And they said that Maduro abused his position of public trust and corrupted once legitimate institutions to import tons of cocaine into the United States.
And so even though one can wonder what the jury pool there will look like, there are means by which in the jury selection process they can help to minimize those risks.
As far as the strategic calculation of why to pursue the charges there, that's an answer.
That's a question I don't have an answer at this point.
I wish it did.
Because you would have saved gas money if you would have dropped them off in Texas.
I would have had a better feeling than the southern district of New York, but it's just me.
You know, fuel efficiency matters.

I mean, where are we trying?

Well, I'm excited to have you.
I watched your video as things were happening in Iran over the weekend, and I'm watching Iran, I mean, not probably as much as you are, with real hope and anticipation of possible good things to come.
Can you tell us what's going on in Iran right now and if it's different than what we've seen in the past?
So what's happening in Iran right now is that people are rising up to overthrow the shackles of Islamic oppression that has held them hostage for the last 47 years.
And a lot of people in Western media or a lot of the apologists for the Islamic Republic, you know, the pro-Islamists, they are claiming that, you know, this is just about the economy and people.
They're just upset.
Well, if this was about the economy, why are Iranians now, like this is the 10th day and things have escalated.
They're continuing to escalate.
It's the 10th day.
Iranians are going out of the streets en masse.
They are chanting death to the dictator, Maghbad Diktator.
They're chanting Javit Shah, which means long live the king.
And then they're saying this is the final battle.
Pahlavi will return.
Pahlavi, of course, is His Royal Highness.
Yeah, they're saying, which means it's the final battle.
Pahlavi will return.
Why?
Because there's only one person that Iranians trust to transition the country from a brutal totalitarian dictatorship into a functioning, secular, democratic country.
And that's His Royal Highness, the Crown Prince of Iran, who's in exile.
So do you believe, I've heard people say, well, he's not really a player because he's only been speaking out, but he hasn't really been active in anything significant in Iran.
Is that true?
Does he have widespread support?
Yeah, so what they're saying about him is 100% false.
He has been active in Iran and working to free Iran his entire life, like since Iran was taken over.
So he has dedicated the last 47 years to freeing Iran.
And what we are seeing today, literally over 70 cities, over 70 cities have risen up.
That was just yesterday's data.
I still have to catch up with today.
But pretty much every single corner of the country is out there and they're chanting, this is the final battle.
Pahlavi will return.
The reason that there are some people who are attacking him right now at the most critical times is because they know that the only person who can free Iran is the crown prince in exile.
And so that's where he's being attacked.
But Iranians in occupied Iran, they don't care.
They are literally out there right now.
They are risking their lives.
It's all out civil war, Glenn.
The Islamic Republic, they have imported their proxy terrorist groups from Iraq, from like Yemen, Lebanon, Gaza, right?
They've imported all of their terrorist proxy groups, and those people are heavily armed, and they're out there attacking Iranians right now.
And yet for Iranians, it's basically now or never.
They are putting their lives on the line.
And, you know, one thing that gave Iranians a lot of hope is President Trump's statement, where he said, if the Islamic Republic continues to shoot at innocent Iranians, then President Trump is going to do something about it.
You know, the United States is locked and loaded.
That actually gave Iranians so much hope.
I guarantee you right now, President Trump is more popular in Iran than he is in the United States.
Well, he'd have a hard time walking down the street in Venezuela today as well, being mobbed with fans.
Exactly.
See, this has happened twice before, but it happened with Biden and then it happened with Obama, and neither of them voiced their support.
And I was saying at the time, that's the thing that Ronald Reagan did.
You know, when the Berlin Wall came down, when you had the collapse of the Soviet Union, he was vocally supporting the people.
And I thought that was the missing piece.
But the other part that at least Obama did was send money to the regime.
You know, you say this isn't about economics, and I think partially true, but economics may have played the role to get the people out, the businesses out into the street and saying something.
You know, I did a calculation today on the real, and it is 1.47 million reals to $1, which makes bread right now in Iran is between 100 and 500,000 rials.
That means if it's at the high side, that means America, you could walk in and buy a loaf of bread for 34 cents.
That's incredible.
And inflation has gone through the roof for them.
It's up to, I think, 52 or 56% just this last year.
How much of a role did that play?
And did Donald Trump cutting off money help with that economic pressure?
Absolutely.
So like I said, the economic crisis, the collapse of the real, the increasing inflation, that has played a role in sparking the movement, right?
So the economy has played a role in sparking the demonstrations.
But people out there right now, they're not protesting because of the collapse of the real.
But the collapse of the real is just one other symptom of the exact same thing.
Exactly.
Because, you know, it's about human rights.
It's about torture.
It's about the fact that people have been brutally oppressed by Islamic dictatorship.
It's the fact that people don't want Sharia law.
They don't want, like, Iranians are sick and tired of their name and their country being associated with terrorism because we're not terrorists.
And prior to 1979, Iran was one of the biggest allies of the United States.
In fact, I think...
The Persian people are amazing.
Amazing.

Tell me, you know, it's been a long time since that has happened and a lot.
I mean, you've had generations now raised under this.
When the Shah left and you had the Ayatollah Khomeini come in, most people don't know that was the Islamists and the Marxist socialists that were supporting that.
And as soon as the Ayatollah got in, I think 20,000 Marxists kind of were disappeared or thrown into jail or killed.
And it wasn't exactly a smooth transition.
It still had a lot going on.
If this happens and they fall and the new prince comes back, how bad would a purge be?
I mean, would that be part of this, do you think?
That there'd be a lot of people that have to go to jail?
How would this happen?
So His Royal Highness, the Crown Prince, has said that he wants to establish something similar to the Nuremberg trials.
So no violence, no purge, nothing like that.
He wants there to, you know, basically a court of law.
And anyone who has, you know, anyone who is guilty of oppression or is part of the Islamic dictatorship will have to face that court of law.
And then, you know, based on based on what the verdict is, you know, they either go to jail or not.
But he has never advocated for violence.
He has never advocated for anything like that.
And even now, even now in his messages to the Iranian people, when he's encouraging, because also like one of the reasons these demonstrations are growing is because the Crown Prince, he is urging Iranians to go out in the streets and demonstrate.
But he's never called for violence.
These demonstrations from the side of the Iranians have been peaceful.
But when the Islamic dictatorship opens fire on Iranians, of course, they're going to fire back.
They're going to defend themselves, even though Iranians are not armed.
Although we've now heard reports that in certain parts of the country, someone has started to arm Iranians.
And so in many places, they're fighting back.
But there's not going to be any sort of violent purge.
I mean, we're not Islamists.
Prior to 1979, we were a modern Western secularizing society.
And anything and everything that happens will go right.
It'll be based on the fundamental laws and courts of justice.
How does, I mean, the IRGC is pretty intense.
Hezbollah is there.

Others who are really bad intent are there.
How does that happen peacefully?
Because I know that they're already talking about an escape plan for the regime.
So the mullahs and everybody can get out.
But you will have the IRGC left.
Are they just going to lay down their guns, do you think?
I don't know.
I mean, I think the ones who are Iranian might very well do so.
But I think the ones who are not Iran, like the Hezbollah and like the Palestinians and Iraqis and like, I don't know, Afghanis, whoever else are there, because they're not Iranian, they have nothing left to lose.
They're actually some of the most vicious, vicious Islamic terrorists.
So I unfortunately don't see them laying down their guns.
So what we really need is for the military to step up and for the military to defect and take the side of the people.
I mean, or possibly for President Trump to do something or Israel to do something because no revolution has ever been successful without outside interference.
And in fact, the only reason the 1979 Islamic coup d'état was successful is because of Jimmy Carter and the Democratic administration that supported the Ayatollah.
So what a surprise.

And I want to just ask you, what are the signs that you're looking for that it looks inevitable, that it's getting bigger and stronger?
What should we as Westerners be looking for to happen?

Absolutely.
I think they are, and I think they should be, because President Trump is someone who is a man of his word.
And one of the reasons that we are seeing, I mean, we're still seeing a lot of violence by the Islamic dictatorship, but we're not seeing the same level of coordination that we have in past demonstrations.
And I think part of that is because they are afraid to communicate with their foes.
Because if you recall during the 12-day war between Israel and the Islamic Republic, one of the ways that Israel was targeting the IRGC commanders was through their phones.
And so that one time where they basically exterminated 30 of those terrorists all at once, it's because they were all on their phones and Israel was able to find them.
So just a quick shout out to Israel for that.
Thank you.
But yes, they are terrified because I think they know that if they start using their phones a lot, they're going to be targeted.
And so you're seeing a lot less coordination.
Now, the forces are still brutal.
They're still savage.
But even now, we're in the 10th day.
It's the largest uprising that I have seen since the Islamic regime took over 47 years ago.
It's pretty much all out civil war.
And yet the crowds are getting bigger.
The masses are getting bigger.
The forces, the Islamic regime forces are not as coordinated.
They're smaller in number.
They're still vicious, but they're smaller in number.
And one other thing is that it's day 10, and the internet still has not been shut off.
That is huge.
That is huge because usually what happens is by the third or fourth day, the Islamic dictatorship, they shut down the internet to prevent Iranians from communicating with each other, from communicating with the outside world.
And during that internet blackout, they go ahead and they slaughter thousands and thousands of people.
They've done it before.
But this time around, the internet is still up.
I think there's, you know, I think that there's someone or someone's working behind the scenes to make sure that internet stays up.
I mean, that could be Masad providing internet.
It could be Iran providing.
Because I know for a fact that in the last year, there have been many Iranians who have been working to smuggle Starlink into the country.
So that could be a part of it.
But I think there is someone on the outside who's working to make sure internet is not cut off in the country.
I only have about 90 seconds.
What are the things that we should look for that say this is going, it's getting better?
It's going to happen.
That's a tough one.
I mean, it's just keep an eye.
So keep an eye on the internet.
Keep an eye on the crowds.
Keep an eye on the masses.
Keep an eye on whether or not the uprisings are continuing or not.
But I think the fact that President Trump has already said, and he's commented twice now, that he's supporting the Iranian people, this is huge.
But we need to make sure that all eyes are on Iran and that there's pressure on the Ayatollahs.
And just pray for the Iranian people so they can have their freedom.

Listen, I love the way you teed it up.
I don't agree, obviously, with everything that President Trump does.
For example, some of his stances on immigration, like ending TPS were 600,000 Venezuelans that applied to this legally, I don't agree with.
But what he just did with the Maduro capture, I 100% back.
And most Venezuelans feel the way that I do.
Why?
This is a tyrant who ran our country into the ground.
Glenn, provoked the biggest refugee crisis in our hemisphere.
So if you just look at it from just even an American standpoint, 8 million people leaving a country, including me and my family, that's going to wreak havoc on neighboring countries, including the United States, regardless.
He pretty much ran our oil company into the ground as well.
Wait, before you go on, Damore, let me just say it also, it destroys Venezuela because you have a brain drain.
You have 8 million people.
Absolutely.
My sister's out of the country.
My brother, who's an oil expert, by the way, that, you know, he dreamed of being able to work in our oil industry back home, is now working at an energy company in Canada.
I mean, there's generations lost here because they've tried to impose the Cuban communist model in Venezuela, which means pretty much eliminate high-quality education and everybody must be loyal to Maduro and to the regime.
And that has been happening for 25 years.
We have tried to get this regime out democratic ways.
There's been several failed coups.
And at this point, Trump coming in and saying, you know what, this person is actually running a drug trafficking ring, is not the legitimate president, and is charged with tons of human rights abuses is absolutely a person that we should get rid of and he should face American justice.
Of course, we're going to welcome that.
And just to give you some perspective about what's happening on the ground, you know, the regime is Maduro was just the face.
This is 25 years in the making here, and there are power brokers down there who control the oil and the military.
And I understand the president's decision to not remove the entire machinery immediately, because I think that would have wrecked havoc in the system anyway.
But there is a lot of fear on the ground.
They even published sort of this official decree down there that anyone who dares celebrate what the did or is chatting about it on their phones can be detained.
So a lot of fear amongst my friends and family down there.
Okay, so nobody's going to go return to home until that is solved.
And I've really been, I applaud the president for not a regime change and throwing it into chaos.
And I think his plan is to watch that closely and make sure that there is a fair election.
But he said that the woman who couldn't run and her stand-in won by, what, 35% and then was rejected by Maduro.
The president said he doesn't think she has real support in the country.
Does she?
I think he misspoke.
She has real support because this was a woman that was the only one that was able to give us hope and to actually conduct an election when there was no hope to be had last year.
So it's not that she doesn't have support.
She's seen like almost like a saint down there and people absolutely love her.
What he meant, I think, to say was that she doesn't hold the reins of the country in terms of what you need for such a complex country to be able to run right now in a power vacuum.
So i.e. the military, the guns, the oil, aka the money, all of the institutions.
You also have to think about this, Glenn.
That makes sense.
The Cubans really infiltrated Venezuela with Chavez, right?
Cuba was doing horribly when Chavez got elected, and Fidel said, this is my lifeline here because we're not getting any more, like as much money from Russia as we used to get.
So Cubans down there control security, they control the oil, they control anything from like real estate, the ballot box.
There's a reason why after Maruto was captured, there was an immediate communique from Cuba and the president of Cuba said, we have lost like 30 of our people today because they were the ones that were guaranteeing his security.
So dismantling all of that is going to take some time.
And again, I commend what President Trump did.
It is historic.
I, as a Venezuelan, also, and I wrote a sub-sec newsletter about that today.
I don't even mind, and I'm not even outraged at Trump saying that they're going, that the American oil companies are going to come in and take our oil because frankly, our oil has been used to buy support from Russia, China, Iran, Cuba.
I'd much rather give it to the United States and have them fix this industry that was run into the ground.
But I do think that we have to keep an eye on reprisals and this climate of fear and these armed urban militias going out and pretty much terrorizing the population because there's a reason why all of the images you see of Venezuelans celebrating are from abroad.
Down there, everyone is terrified.
Everyone wants to celebrate, but nobody can speak freely.
What an amazing insight that I have not heard elsewhere.
The mainstream media has just so wrong.
I mean, it's incredible how wrong they are on this.
And they've been wrong about Chavez and Maduro the whole time.
But Why is it they still just can't get it?
And I think that this is a region that also has been ignored by the U.S. for a long time.
And there's a reason why then China and Russia swooped in and sort of took hold of that vacuum.
For years as a correspondent, I tried to get stories on Venezuela on the air.
And it was hard because you didn't have, like you do now, a Secretary of State that is very intricately tied and interested in this part of the world.
And I do think that the United States needs to pay attention as the superpower in our hemisphere to what is happening in our hemisphere, especially when you have a country also, Glenn, that has, and that has been proven, Hezbollah presence, Iran presence.
Like if you go to the airport in Venezuela, it's crazy.
If you see the names of a lot of the people that are in charge in the cabinet, in the National Assembly, many of them are Arabic names.
And that's not a coincidence.
So I think there's been a lack of interest for a long time that has contributed to the media then not really being focused in this part of the world.
And then it's also, which sucks, you know, taken, you know, through this lens of polarization that we're living in in the U.S., where, you know, I did a couple of hits over the weekend, as you mentioned, and right before coming on, they would show like the anti, you know, the people that don't agree with the Maluro capture.
And there was not a single Venezuelan being interviewed or a single Venezuelan in these anti-Maluro capture protests.
I'm like, these people don't really speak for us.
They're just against whatever the administration is doing.
Mariana, let me ask, if freedom is actually restored and this works to come back to a capitalist system.
I mean, I just had a Persian woman on just a minute ago from Iran.
And, you know, the Persian people are not what everybody thinks of in Iran.
They are an amazing, amazing culture and amazing people.
Same thing with Venezuela.
Will the Venezuelan people come back and leave from their, you know, their emigration out?
Will they come back to Venezuela?
I think so, Glenn, because this was a country that was so prosperous.
We welcomed so many immigrants.
My own grandparents fled Europe after World War II, came to Venezuela.
You know, there's a big Italian Venezuelan community, Jewish Venezuelan community, Spanish Venezuelan community.
And I think that if you just give the country a chance and restore its institutions, I think in the long run, a leader like Maria Corina Machal can do it.
This is a country that is so vastly rich, strategically located in terms of geography, with people that are creative, hardworking, well-prepared.
I do think a lot of people will want to go back.
To be quite honest with you, I think that life has become pretty hard and expensive in other parts of the world.
So this is a country I always used to hear from my father.
You start a business there, it flourishes within seconds.
And the returns were pretty great back in the day.
Mariana, we're witnessing an absolutely incredible time.
We don't know how it's going to turn out, but I've had more hope for at least the Western hemisphere and the Western civilization and our culture in the Western hemisphere than I think I've ever had.

I, as a Venezuelan, and I think a lot of Venezuelans feel that way, I am sick and tired.
Even going back to 9-11, where I was coincidentally in New York, I don't want to be on the wrong side of history here.
I think we desperately want to come back to the fold of Western democratic nations.
You know, we don't want to be a pariah state anymore.
We don't want to be isolated from the rest of the world.
We love the United States.
We were very much aligned with the United States for years, and we want to desperately come back to the right side of history.
Well, you are, and a lot of Venezuelans that have been suffering under this are on the right side of history.
And it's exciting to watch.
And our hopes and our prayers are with you.

It's time for another edition of Charts on Radio.
Yes, everyone loves it.
Okay, so give me the chart.
Here we go.
These are two lines.
One is red.
The red one is Venezuela and their GDP.
And you see, if you're looking at the chart, and I'll describe it to you, it rises above the blue line on the chart, which is Poland.
Significantly.
So essentially showing you that Venezuela is much wealthier than Poland.
That starts to change when communism falls in the early 90s.
And all of a sudden, Poland's line goes straight up like a rocket ship.
Like crazy.
Venezuela remains pretty much flat until Hugo Chavez takes over and then it tanks.
And now Poland is much, much, much wealthier and better off than Venezuela.
I wonder what the lesson could be there.
So let me just do a chart that is in my head on radio.
