The Glenn Beck Program - Glenn Beck’s Eye-Opening Message to Young Americans Aired: 2025-12-27 Duration: 23:44 === You Were Called For This Time (05:37) === [00:00:01] The woke left, the left ideology, is a religion. [00:00:06] Do you know who our real enemy is? [00:00:08] The big business all over the world, coupled with government, coupled with media. [00:00:16] The people are waking up. [00:00:18] The world is changing. [00:00:21] It's going to be amazing. [00:00:23] The technology that we have, the things that we can do and explore, the diseases that we can cure, life, human life, will never be the same. [00:00:34] You were called for this time. [00:00:37] You are here for a reason. [00:00:39] All of the eyes of the world are upon you. [00:00:45] Glenn Beck. [00:01:08] Hello, hello, hello. [00:01:10] I brought somebody in because I saw something that I just thought was so incredible, and it shouldn't be, but it was. [00:01:19] And so I called this young lady, it was the day after, and she was surprised to hear my voice. [00:01:26] And I said, I would like you to come as my guest to TPUSA. [00:01:30] You may have seen her around. [00:01:32] I know she was on the stage yesterday. [00:01:36] May I reintroduce you to Genie Beeman? [00:01:39] So we were backstage just a few minutes ago and and Genie said, I don't know what's happening. [00:02:08] The reaction has been what? [00:02:11] Overwhelming. [00:02:13] She said she didn't understand why everybody was asking her for a selfie. [00:02:18] Can you explain what you're curious about, what you don't understand? [00:02:23] Because I'm just a normal person. [00:02:32] And that is why you're here. [00:02:35] Okay. [00:02:36] This is, we were talking backstage, and I said, when I was young, when I was your age, when she was your age, there wouldn't have been somebody like this up on stage because it was the normal thing to do. [00:02:49] Now it's not. [00:02:51] And I wanted to thank you for being normal. [00:02:56] Thank you. [00:03:00] God bless you. [00:03:17] She told me that she has a lot in common. [00:03:24] She understands Erica. [00:03:25] She just, she lost her husband. [00:03:27] And she said there are days that she has to hold onto her chest because she feels like her heart's going to explode without her husband. [00:03:39] So that's why she is who she is. [00:03:42] She is a woman with great heart, great heart. [00:03:49] So I have a ton to share with you. [00:03:51] And honestly, I had a completely different speech that I was prepared to give you today until I started watching. [00:03:58] I last night started thinking about you and what you need to hear. [00:04:03] I wanted to talk to you about history. [00:04:04] I wanted to talk to you about the economy and what's coming. [00:04:08] I wanted to talk to you about what is coming for Western civilization and to warn you that today the times have changed and you are desperately needed, desperately needed. [00:04:22] But there's something else that I think is more important that you need to hear. [00:04:31] We must stop fighting with one another. [00:04:43] It is important to stand for the truth, but people are not your enemies. [00:04:49] Lies are your enemies. [00:04:53] We each have a responsibility to stop, to stop and point out lies, to stop lies. [00:05:00] But you can't stop lies. [00:05:03] You can't stop darkness with more darkness. [00:05:06] You can't stop hate with more hate. [00:05:09] You only dispel the darkness of lies with the light of truth. [00:05:17] A single candle will light up a room. [00:05:21] If everything is dark, one cell phone will be seen everywhere in this dark room. [00:05:29] You are that single candle. [00:05:33] You are that light. [00:05:35] And if you don't believe it, I understand. [00:05:37] I do. [00:05:38] I get it. === You Are The Light (11:01) === [00:05:39] I've spent a lot of time trying to think back to when I didn't have white hair, when I was your age, and what I thought and what I would be thinking if I were you. [00:05:51] If I were you, and I'm 25, I was one when the World Trade Center came down. [00:05:57] I would have no memory of that, and I certainly wouldn't have a memory of the United States before that. [00:06:02] You'd have no idea what it was like to get out of your car in front of an airport and walk directly to the gate. [00:06:10] You don't remember a time when you didn't have a cavity search just to go onto an airplane. [00:06:17] You don't know of a time when you didn't have to have your iris scanned. [00:06:21] Until if you were born in 2000, you don't know of a time when this country wasn't at war or the world wasn't on the verge of global war. [00:06:33] That is a frightening place to live. [00:06:37] When you were eight years old, the financial crash happened, and maybe your parents lost everything. [00:06:44] But the big guys in New York, the big guys at the banks, they didn't lose everything. [00:06:50] Nobody went to jail. [00:06:52] And you and your family paid the price that none of them had to pay. [00:06:58] Then, 2008, 2009, the cell phone comes out, social media comes out, it's supposed to connect us so we can talk to our friends, and it does just the opposite. [00:07:08] It divides us, it changes us. [00:07:11] Then 2020 hits, COVID happens. [00:07:14] If your parents survived 2008, now they face COVID. [00:07:19] And if they happen to own, let's say, an ACE hardware store, a local hardware store, what happened? [00:07:25] They were shut down because their local hardware store was killing grandparents. [00:07:31] But Home Depot was fine. [00:07:34] Once again, you saw the entire system turned upside down and the little guy gets screwed. [00:07:43] Then, with nobody going to jail, you're also in school taught all kinds of things. [00:07:50] Men can be women, and women cannot be defined unless you're a scientist, I guess. [00:07:56] You are also told, just study hard. [00:08:00] Just keep your nose clean, just do the right thing, study hard, go to college, get a degree, keep your grades up, and you'll get a good job. [00:08:09] Well, you did all of those things, and there are no jobs for you. [00:08:14] Everything, everything, if I'm 25 years old, I would think absolutely everything is a lie. [00:08:21] I get it. [00:08:23] So let me start with this. [00:08:25] You are not crazy. [00:08:27] You are not lazy. [00:08:30] You are not imagining things. [00:08:33] The truth is, the rules have changed. [00:08:36] Promises have been broken. [00:08:39] Institutions have failed. [00:08:41] Banks were rescued while families like yours weren't. [00:08:45] And you were told to follow a path that would guarantee security, and it provides none of that. [00:08:52] But the most dangerous lie that you have been told wasn't that the system failed you. [00:08:59] The biggest lie that you were told is that you don't matter. [00:09:06] Here's the thing: I want you to understand: a broken system does not erase human agency, it reveals who still has agency. [00:09:22] Every single generation since the beginning of time has inherited a mess, but only the great generations turn that mess into a mission, and that's your calling. [00:09:37] America, America was never built for comfort. [00:09:43] It was built for people who believed they could shape their own destiny. [00:09:48] Previous generations had it different, but they didn't have it easier. [00:09:52] They had world wars, they had depression, they had drafts, they had the plague, they had no safety nets, they had no guarantees. [00:10:01] But what they had that you don't have is belief. [00:10:06] Belief, belief in God, belief in responsibility, a belief that there is a brighter tomorrow just over the horizon. [00:10:14] They had that, you need that. [00:10:17] Belief is what creates prosperity, not the other way around. [00:10:24] And you have been fed lies to keep you powerless. [00:10:28] And so many of your generation are following the natural path of somebody who believes they are powerless. [00:10:38] You look to others to lead. [00:10:41] You look for a leader. [00:10:44] May I propose one? [00:10:48] You. [00:10:49] You are the leader. [00:10:55] As I was watching speeches yesterday, I thought to myself, What do any of us clowns who are up here have that you don't have? [00:11:05] What is it that we have that you don't have? [00:11:08] A platform? [00:11:10] Build one. [00:11:11] Charlie did. [00:11:12] Build a platform. [00:11:14] You don't have an understanding of history or God or economics or politics. [00:11:21] Learn it. [00:11:22] You have the world's library in your pocket. [00:11:26] Learn it. [00:11:28] The only thing that I have that maybe you don't have is white hair. [00:11:35] That's the only thing that I have. [00:11:37] And that comes from a long life of watching things play out over and over and over again. [00:11:44] So the only thing that I have that you don't have is I've seen the pattern. [00:11:49] You're in the first phase of your life, so you're seeing the pattern for the first time. [00:11:54] But believe me, all of this crap will happen again and again and again. [00:11:59] And when you have the white hair, you start to go, oh crap, this is a giant game. [00:12:03] I wish I would have known that a long time ago. [00:12:06] You need to know one thing. [00:12:09] You hold every card you need. [00:12:13] You have everything you need. [00:12:15] Everything and more. [00:12:18] You have your intellect. [00:12:20] Your intellect, so you can now think, you can reason, you can learn. [00:12:25] You're living in a country that today is still free enough to where you can ask questions and never stop asking questions, especially the uncomfortable questions. [00:12:39] There is no such thing as a wrong question or a dangerous question. [00:12:44] You ask those questions, but then you find the truth. [00:12:49] You don't have truth given to you. [00:12:52] No one is here. [00:12:53] Don't take anything I or anyone else on this stage say as gospel because I'm not Jesus. [00:12:59] None of us are. [00:13:00] You find the truth yourself. [00:13:03] You can hear something, but then you prove it to be true yourself. [00:13:14] Here's something else that you have that I think you dismiss. [00:13:18] You're here. [00:13:20] So if not you, who? [00:13:24] If not now, when? [00:13:27] The other thing you have that you dismiss is that you're alive. [00:13:32] And that to me means proves the fact God does not make excess people. [00:13:42] You have a reason to be here. [00:13:45] You have a purpose. [00:13:47] There is a reason for you to be alive. [00:13:51] God doesn't make excess people. [00:13:54] You're not excess. [00:13:56] You're the center of your life. [00:14:02] I will tell you that I believe I'm 61. [00:14:08] I believe two months ago I discovered the reason why I was born. [00:14:14] And I had planned on talking to you about that because it's really important. [00:14:21] But you need to hear something more important than any of that that I have to share with you. [00:14:28] You need to believe in yourself. [00:14:32] You need to recognize the power that you have. [00:14:37] You don't need permission to begin a meaningful life. [00:14:43] You have three levers of power that you don't understand that you have right in front of you every day. [00:14:49] You have one, internal power. [00:14:52] No one can control your work ethic, your honesty, your discipline, your faith, or like Genie, your response to others. [00:15:03] You own that. [00:15:04] Don't let others dictate how you respond. [00:15:12] You also have compounding power, the compounding power. [00:15:19] Small, consistent actions every day will beat institutions every time, because your skill compounds. [00:15:28] Every time I met with Charlie, he was a different and better person. [00:15:33] Every time, he was smarter. [00:15:36] He was deeper in with God. [00:15:38] He was more successful. [00:15:41] And towards the end of his life, it was compounding so rapidly that the changes were staggering. [00:15:48] But he's the one who did it. [00:15:51] He just chose to do it. [00:15:54] Reputation compounds. [00:15:56] Integrity compounds. [00:15:58] Intellect compounds. [00:16:00] Time is not on my side for compounding any of that anymore. [00:16:05] But you have all the time you need to be far greater than anyone else you're going to hear speak today. [00:16:12] The third thing you have is spiritual power. [00:16:16] Meaning is not given by governments or markets. [00:16:20] Purpose precedes prosperity. [00:16:24] God doesn't create excess people. [00:16:26] If you exist, it means you're needed. [00:16:29] You are not born too late. [00:16:31] You are born into this moment for a reason only you will find, and it requires courage to go out and find it and stand. === When The Lights Go Out (07:03) === [00:16:41] You are not a victim. [00:16:54] Spread the word. [00:16:58] History has never asked a victim to save it, nor does history ask comfortable people to save it. [00:17:07] History asks capable people to save it. [00:17:12] You will discover, if you shake off the lie of victimhood, you will discover the glory of responsibility. [00:17:22] When you take on responsibility, when you concentrate on responsibility, you will discover purpose. [00:17:30] When you have purpose, cynicism falls away and your life becomes a calling. [00:17:39] Concentrate on the first step: personal responsibility. [00:17:46] Let me leave you with a scenario. [00:17:53] We're sitting in here, and all of a sudden, the mic goes out, the lights go out. [00:17:59] What's the first thing you do? [00:18:02] First thing, we probably all gasp or laugh a little bit, gets a little uncomfortable, and then you probably will pull out your phone. [00:18:09] And there's the light. [00:18:12] And you will look at your phone, and somebody at some point will realize there are no bars anymore. [00:18:18] The lights go out, not for a minute. [00:18:20] Let's say it's not a glitch. [00:18:22] Let's say they go out and stay out. [00:18:25] At first, the phones come out, and somebody will say, Wow, this is weird. [00:18:30] Then your phones die. [00:18:31] Then the stores close. [00:18:33] Then the sirens start. [00:18:36] By tomorrow morning, if the lights went out right now and they stayed out and it was out everywhere, by tomorrow morning, there would be a change in most people's eyes. [00:18:48] And it would not be fear. [00:18:50] It would be confusion, which is worse. [00:18:56] When the system disappears, people don't ask the question, who's in charge? [00:19:04] When the lights go out and stay out, people begin to ask the question, who knows how to live without the system? [00:19:15] Some people will freeze. [00:19:17] Some people will wait. [00:19:19] Some people will demand answers. [00:19:21] I want answers. [00:19:22] Somebody's got to pay for this. [00:19:24] And they'll be demanding answers from institutions that no longer answer. [00:19:29] Others will just look around. [00:19:32] Others will begin to look around and then check on neighbors. [00:19:36] They'll begin to share food. [00:19:38] They will organize quietly. [00:19:41] They will not wait to ask for permission. [00:19:45] They don't have or need special authority. [00:19:48] They don't have official titles. [00:19:50] They have something else, personal responsibility. [00:19:54] And here's the part that matters. [00:19:56] When the lights go out, that's when everyone will discover who they really are. [00:20:04] No one will ask. [00:20:06] No one will ask, who did you vote for? [00:20:09] No one will ask, what did you post? [00:20:12] No one will ask, who were you angry at? [00:20:18] How angry did you get? [00:20:23] Whether you're prepared to stand or not, that's the moment. [00:20:27] And we're at this moment. [00:20:30] The lights are flickering. [00:20:32] I told you at the beginning, you're not crazy. [00:20:36] Things are not the way they should be. [00:20:38] The lights are flickering. [00:20:41] So now, what do you do when the lights go out? [00:20:49] You need to restore your confidence. [00:20:53] The lights are flickering not just in markets and politics, but in belief, in confidence, in belief. [00:21:00] You've been told the dangerous things over and over again: that when the system fails, you fail. [00:21:06] It's not true. [00:21:08] People matter more in those moments rather than less. [00:21:13] And every great generation in history, they were forged in a moment when something big broke. [00:21:22] Not when things were easy, not when things were guaranteed, but when people your age looked at one another, saw this giant mess they didn't create, and went, oh, crap. [00:21:34] We'll fix it. [00:21:36] I'll take responsibility. [00:21:38] That's not weakness. [00:21:40] That is the highest form of power. [00:21:43] Because power is not the ability to control others. [00:21:48] Power, real power, is the ability to control yourself when no one is watching. [00:21:54] Power is telling the truth when lies are rewarded. [00:21:59] Power is forgiving hatred when hatred is celebrated. [00:22:05] Power is building when everyone else is tearing down. [00:22:12] Hear my message to you. [00:22:17] You were not born too late. [00:22:19] You were born with everything you need. [00:22:22] All you really need is belief in yourself, and from there comes courage. [00:22:27] And courage is not loud. [00:22:30] Courage is just getting up when you've been beaten down. [00:22:33] Every time you fall down, you just get up again. [00:22:36] That's what courage is: getting up one more time after you fall. [00:22:41] That's it. [00:22:44] Courage is required now because civilizations are not saved by governments. [00:22:53] And people who understand their power, they fix things. [00:23:00] That person that will fix things is you. [00:23:04] So I urge you, please leave here this weekend, filled with one thing. [00:23:11] If you take one thing away, is that you matter, that you count, that the ultimate power is there and it channels down to you and you can accomplish anything. [00:23:26] So go out and do what Charlie did. [00:23:29] Live your life in a way that you are prepared for when the lights go out. [00:23:35] Do not curse the darkness. [00:23:38] Become the light that others will see by. [00:23:42] We're counting on you.
