Special Program Ready Today 00:03:21
The fusion of entertainment and enlightenment.
This is the Glenn Beck Program.
They've been caught again.
Busted once again.
And, you know, these things keep getting shorter and shorter in time span.
But it's just record.
I think this last one here, just yesterday, record time.
I mean, we're talking like minutes, maybe hours.
As far as the shortest hoax on record now, in the scheme of things.
Well, we'll talk about the unveil it and tell you what the truth is about the latest today and so much more.
Man, we have a special program ready for you today.
It's Justin Barkley in for Glenn today on the Christmas Eve edition of the Glenn Beck program.
We're back right after this.
The older I get, the more I think about trust.
I think about the people in my life who have my trust and earned my trust and the trust that I have placed in some people who I later learned abuse that trust.
I know we're alike in that way.
We don't trust a lot of people anymore.
It's like we're all Ronald Reagan trust, but always verify to make sure we're not making a mistake.
I find it a little exhausting, quite honestly, and that's why I started realestateagentsitrust.com.
I didn't have good experiences with buying and selling my homes.
So we built Real Estate Agents I Trust to introduce you to one of the thousands of agents all over the country that we work with that we have verified that they will help you have the most successful and good real estate transaction possible.
Our network agents share our sensibilities, have great track records, are good and decent people, and I trust them to help you with your real estate needs.
So whether you're moving across town or across the country, visit realestateagentsitrust.com.
name says it all.
Realestateagentsitrust.com.
This may have set a brand new world record.
Another day, another hoax.
And by the way, this may have been exactly what he was talking about when President Trump said, yeah, it's another hook.
Well, let me get into that.
First of all, welcome into the Glenn Beck program on a very Merry Christmas.
I've had the opportunity to, and the honor really to fill in for Glenn, particularly Christmas Eve.
I think it's every Christmas Eve since about 2019, and it holds a special place in my heart.
In fact, I'll tell you a little bit more about that as the show goes on.
Like I said, we have special guests lined up for this special appearance by the big man himself.
So I'll just leave it at that.
Coming up a little bit later on in the program, if you can make sure you hang with now, listen, I don't expect you to be here through the entire thing.
In fact, some of you miss.
Listen, Glenn, let me just turn this.
That's okay.
You do what you got to do today.
No, there's a lot going on.
But take us with you, if you will.
You know, you're cooking up in the kitchen, making things for later tonight and tomorrow, or maybe you're still trying to finish the last minute.
I think I've got one more thing that I want to get.
Bigfoot Hoax Explained 00:07:49
I'm just sort of stuck on that, and I'm trying to figure that all out.
But most of it, I think, I've got done.
And then the wrapping.
I think this might be a record for us at the Barkley household, but I think we've got it all worked out and all ready to go.
So no matter what you're doing today, we'd love to have you with you.
I'm Justin Barkley, and I do a show weekday mornings on News Radio Wood 1300 and 1069 FM in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
And as I said, it is an honor and a pleasure to be here with you on Christmas Eve.
That being said, I noted on the day after Thanksgiving on Black Friday, this is called Beck Friday, noted that, look, the news never stops.
And this is something that I have seen in the last several years, particularly ramping up even more so than ever before.
It used to be you could come in into the year, we'd do a show, we'd have some, hey, here's the best of the year.
Here's what happened in 2025.
And there's some predictions folks are looking forward to 2026, and this is what's coming up.
But you know, the news never stops.
And unfortunately, we found that out altogether too well on Black Friday, the horrific events where the two National Guard members were attacked, one of them killed in cold blood, and then the miracle that's happening right now, Christmas miracle, the recovery of the second.
That story, center stage that day.
And it's similar on a day like today.
Normally, you would, like I said, expect or hope there wouldn't be too much.
And we could focus on what matters most.
Now, we'll be doing some of that today, too.
But I wanted to get into the latest hoax that has collapsed because I think it's indication of where we're going, certainly where we are in the days ahead.
This latest is the Epstein files release.
Now, you know, this has been something president has been on about.
And I think a lot of folks had taken issue with some of it.
In fact, it was a big, well, it was a big reason many people voted for him.
It's not just Epstein in the case itself, but it is really, more than anything else, is the idea that we would finally get down to transparency.
We don't trust government.
Many of us never have.
Some of us have really been jolted awake, really, in the last four or five years by everything that we've seen.
And it's not just government.
It's like every area, every aspect, every institution, every bit of anything that we ever put our trust and our faith in.
And obviously, now we see that was a foolish thing to do, very unwise.
Nevertheless, we're awake and many more, I think, are people waking up every day.
So this piece, this story is bigger than just Jeffrey Epstein and the horrific things that he is accused of.
And it's not just Epstein, it's the people around him.
It's the system itself.
And I don't have to tell you, no, I'm preaching to the choir here.
That's why many people, again, want transparency.
Many people, again, want answers.
And in the find-out era that we're finally in, SmackDebs squarely sitting in, in the find-out era that we're in today, we want accountability.
They fooled around, and now we want these people to find out.
That's where we are.
And if you're feeling that way, I totally understand it.
In fact, I'm one of those people.
I want accountability.
Drain the swamp.
When are the arrests going to start?
Well, some of them already have.
In fact, we'll talk a little bit more about that throughout the program.
But some of that we've already started to see.
And I think those are good things.
But this Epstein story, this is one that just won't quit, it won't die.
And it was to the consternation of President Trump at one point where he made that point, well, it's a hoax.
Democrats and the media, but I repeat myself, took that and ran with it.
I think even some folks on the right who said, wait, wait a minute.
No, it's not.
We need answers on this.
And rightfully so, some folks.
But I think they misunderstood what he was saying.
What he was saying was, yeah, the story's real.
Jeffrey Epstein is a sicko.
And the people around him, the things they were doing, all of that, all of that needs to be, I think, completely and properly gone through.
But at the same time, what he was saying is the way the Democrats and the way the mainstream media are going to use it is a hoax.
In fact, just yesterday, the latest cache, the drop of details, like I said, the latest hoax in record time was completely, well, the smoke lifted and completely unveiled.
The FBI even had to come out.
The DOJ even had to come out.
And as I saw it, it's fact, it's still circulating on a lot of these websites right now.
I don't know how to tell some of these people that bring it up or maybe are commenting, chatting about it.
A lot of this is sort of a, I guess, a cognitive bias, really, that they're seeing this story and they go, see, I told you.
I told you Trump was in it.
I told you.
A lot of these people have TDS anyway.
You're not ever going to convince them.
Again, you know, we'll continue to try and do our best to wake people up.
Some of them, you just can't wake up.
At the end of the day, this is another one of those hoaxes.
And the FBI and the DOJ had to say, look, there's a lot of reasons why these stories haven't become public and the files haven't been public previously.
Now, some of it, I think, yeah, you're probably right.
I think to protect a lot of people that, you know, the kind of high muckety muck.
You were talking about the elite, the folks who've been a part of all this.
But also, there's a lot of, because of this story, and just like anything else, let me give you a good example of what this is, Bigfoot.
I don't know if you're into Bigfoot and you remember Art Bell?
You know, he's a guy that used to dig into Bigfoot and the UFOs and all of that.
It's interesting to listen to.
But you go too far down that rabbit hole, you can lose your mind.
And I think that's what's happening here with some people because everywhere they look, everywhere they turn is another Bigfoot.
Everywhere they look and everywhere they turn is another situation where they're seeing this thing pop up and again, a little bit more credibility than what it should be.
And not saying that these things didn't happen, not saying that some of these people are very guilty in response, but we still, some of us just don't know.
In fact, when you start to kind of pour through the documents and the details that have come out, turns out a lot of this stuff that's coming out now was completely bunk and baloney.
And this latest hoax is a good example of it.
So there's a letter, and I'll give you the details on this, but there is a letter that apparently, supposedly, Jeffrey Epstein wrote.
The Fake Epstein Letter 00:11:46
Now, when he wrote it and when it came out is essentially what was in it.
It really is where the sort of the sticky nature of all this comes out.
But I'll just tell you, the hoax, the way this played out is mainstream media and the Democrats both pushed this and have it yesterday, just in time for Christmas so that you and I could be talking about it.
But the good news is the hoax has collapsed on its own weight in record time.
I'm going to tell you exactly what was in the letter and why it's bunked so that when you sit together with your turkey, your ham, your roast, whatever it might be, your seafood feast, whatever it might be around the table for Christmas, you can actually speak on this and do it justice.
So coming up in just a moment, we'll give you a chance to be able to hear the details of this.
But first, a quick break, and we're back right after this.
Justin Barkley today filling in for Glenn on the Glenn Beck program.
Every so often, something happens that reminds us just how fragile our freedoms are.
And we can't afford to take our rights for granted.
We have to draw the line in the sand.
And the good people at Patriot Mobile have been doing that now for more than 12 years.
The truth is, there's only one provider that boldly stands in the gap for Americans who believe freedom is actually worth fighting for, and that's Patriot Mobile.
Not only are they leading the red economy, they're also outpacing the competition in technology.
Patriot Mobile is one of the only carriers now offering premium access to all three major U.S. networks, giving you nationwide coverage and service you can count on.
They also offer unlimited data plans, mobile hotspots, and international roaming, internet backup, and so much more.
Switching is easier than ever.
You can activate in minutes from your home or office, keep your number, keep your phone, or upgrade.
So what are you waiting for?
Make the simple choice to support Patriot Mobile and help them do good.
Take a stand today.
Go to patriotmobile.com slash Beck or call 972 Patriot and use the promo code Beck for a free month of service.
It's PatriotMobile.com slash Beck 972 Patriot and make the switch today.
All right.
So what was what was in this latest?
What was in the letter?
Apparently, again, the circumstances of this, Jeffrey Epstein sent a letter to Larry Nasser.
Now, I'm in Michigan, so I'm very familiar with this case, the Larry Nasser case.
And horrific, this guy.
You talk about a piece of work, and he was a guy that was involved with Michigan State University and the athletic, also the, I think, Olympics.
Anywhere.
Anyway, he was somebody that had abused athletes and just sick things that the guy did.
So when you see this, obviously the clickbaity sort of headlines around it all, no doubt, this one was one that was going to pick up steam, and I'm sure it did exactly what it was intended to do.
So again, the circumstances are, supposedly, Jeffrey Epstein sends a letter to Larry Nasser.
Again, this is the circumstances.
I'm going to read to you what it says.
And again, it sounds sick, but I also hear things inside of it I think that are kind of interesting as well.
But he says things in it that I think it'll become obvious why it's been such a story.
Dear L.N., as you know, and it's a handwritten note, by the way.
As you know, man, or now, I'm not sure.
Maybe it's as you know by now.
I have taken the short route, quote unquote, home.
Good luck, exclamation point.
We shared one thing, dot, dot, dot, our love and caring for young ladies and the hope they'd reach their full potential.
That's just sick.
Our president also shares our love of young nubile girls.
When a young beauty walked by, he loved to, I won't say this, all of this, but quote unquote, grab, you know what.
Whereas we ended up snatching grub in the mess halls of the system.
Life is unfair.
Yours, Jay Epstein.
Now, where do we start?
On the surface of it.
And by the way, this is why I talked about this.
And Glenn has talked at length about it.
But last time I was here with you, we talked about this on Beck Friday, on Black Friday, the day after Thanksgiving.
I said to you, and this is exactly it, that there would come a time, you're not going to know the difference between lying and truth and all these things.
And AI and all of the different and more skillful ways they have of lying to us every day.
And memes and the clickbait, all of it.
In fact, part of this document dump release in the news relating to it, there was a video.
And I don't know for sure, because again, how do you know?
But from what I understand, there was a video that came out.
Supposedly, it was a video camera that was located in Epstein's cell, and it shows the last few minutes of him and trying to attempt to do himself in.
And this video is floating around in the air.
Apparently, folks have come out discredited and say that's not real.
Probably an AI recreation.
Very similar in this situation.
When we move further into the future, we're going to need discernment.
We're going to need wisdom.
We're going to need sort of a higher power.
And I'm not talking AI here, but I'm talking about a higher power, an intelligence, unlike anything artificial.
Let's just call it supernatural.
An intelligence that will be able to guide us to know what to believe and what not to believe.
Where do you put your trust, your hope, your faith, all of those things.
And the guy who wrote the Christmas movie, in fact, we'll talk a little bit later about this, that'll be showing on everyone's television here, let's 24 hours or so.
Gene Shepard used to have a saying, in God we trust, all others pay cash.
I absolutely, it's one of my favorite.
It's one of my favorite sayings.
I absolutely love it.
And it's true.
So how do you know what to believe and what not to believe?
Well, let me tell you what we know about the note specifically.
It was postmarked a few days after his death.
The DOJ now, the Department of Justice and the FBI both coming out saying that note was not real.
It was a fake.
In fact, it was so fake that at the time it all came out, they knew from the very beginning it was a fake.
wasn't real.
And of course, that's why I never saw the light of day.
But there are still mainstream and local TV stations and news sources putting this information out there as if they have no responsibility to tell you the truth about it.
It is damning.
It's a problem.
It is a real problem.
And again, and it's one that only you and I in the days ahead are going to be able to really lean in, I think, to discern and wisdom, be able to point these things out.
When you see a fake, you absolutely know what it is.
The good news is I think more and more people are on to it.
I think the Trump team's on to it.
I think folks like me and you are on to it.
The FBI now confirming this alleged letter to Jeffrey Epstein to Larry Nasser is fake.
Letter received by the jail and flagged for the FBI at the time.
So now you know the real story.
And maybe as Paul used to say, the rest of it anyway.
So it is important as you have these conversations around the table Christmas and no matter what day of the year it is, that you're armed with the truth, logic, and common sense.
And today we'll try and make sure that you'll get even more of it in the fight for faith, family, and freedom.
In fact, coming up, Christians in Nigeria, we're going to talk a little bit more about the persecution they face today.
Someone who just got back from Nigeria, been on the ground, give us the details about the latest that's happening there.
I don't know if you've seen TP USA and Nikki Minaj's story about how she's supporting President Trump.
What that does to folks in the pop culture.
Anyway, I just can't wait.
We got a jam-packed full show for you today.
Justin Barkley.
In for Glenn today on the Glenn Beck program.
I'd love to hear from you.
Email me, justin at JustinBarkley, B-A-R-C-L-A-Y dot com.

Back in minutes on Christmas Eve on the Glenn Beck Program.
This is Glenn Beck.
You probably heard Relief Factor commercials where somebody says to his spouse regarding his pain, you don't understand.
It's gone.
Well, Sharon told us that's exactly how she feels.
She wrote to me and she said, Glenn, Relief Factor has helped me so much.
I plan on taking it for the rest of my life.
I'm a walking testimonial.
For me, it was more like Tanya twisting my arm to give Relief Actor a try.
I heard about Relief Factor All Natural created by doctors, blah, blah, blah.
I really agreed to try it, not in thinking it would work.
I just wanted to get her to stop telling me to do something and prove her wrong.
Well, she was right, again, of course, and I got my life back.
Not only did I not have to live in pain, I could thrive again.
If pain has been holding you back, maybe it's time you found out why so many people, just like Sharon, just like me, make Relief Factor part of their daily routine.

Welcome in to the Glenn Beck program.
On a Merry Christmas Eve, Justin Barkley filling in for Glenn on the Glenn Beck program just days ago, in fact, at America Fest at TPUSA.
Probably saw some of the highlights, one of the big names showing up on the stage.
Christian Leaders Acknowledge Persecution 00:12:48
In fact, one of the big VIP sort of surprise guests, Nikki Minaj, Nikki Minaj on the stage coming out with Erica Kirk.
They had a great conversation.
One of the things that Nikki has found herself right in the middle of is kind of interesting.
It was essentially this conversation about where she is with her faith, Christians in Nigeria, the persecution that they're under right now, and her support for President Trump, which has been wild to watch in itself.
I never thought, if you would have said to me, you know, Nikki Minaj is going to come out and she's going to come full-fledged in support of President Trump.
You know, if you're not familiar who she is, she is a rapper with hits, songs I can't even, some of them I can't even name on the air.
Just amazing to see some people wake up.
So I say when they do, we welcome with open arms, by the way.
And that's what the folks at TPUSA have done as well, because she is very outspoken and very passionate about this cause in Nigeria.
And I had Pastor Brad Brandon on with across Nigeria and the folks fighting there for the people that are Christians.
And not just Christians, but the others who are being persecuted there as well.
Not long ago, we talked on Black Friday about that.
Joining us now, just fresh back from this trip to Nigeria.
Congressman Republican from Michigan, Congressman Bill Heisinger joining us now.
Appreciate it for doing this today.
Thank you so much and welcome back.
Merry Christmas, sir.
Well, it's good to be back home and celebrate Christmas here.
But I got to tell you, it was a very impactful, a quick, but very impactful trip to Nigeria to be with faith leaders there as well as we're going into this season.
I can imagine what's it like there right now on the ground.
Well, it's interesting, right?
I think that the Nigerian government writ large is starting to get a very clear message that they have got to change their attitude and change their actions when it comes to protecting,
as you had said, not just Christians, but we are seeing a clear targeting of Christians in the middle belt, kind of this stretch of territories and states across the middle of Nigeria, but also the rise of Boko Haram in the northeast corner, as well as other Fulani and they're often called the herdsmen.
They tend to be more nomadic.
They go across a whole series of countries in that Western Africa region.
But there's been a lot of targeting of the more strict Muslims, the radicalized Muslims against the local Muslims as well.
I mean, they've been killing Imams, that kind of thing, but they have definitely been sort of, I would say, arguing that there really hasn't been a significant problem based on religion.
And I think the facts just speak differently.
Congressman Bill Heisinger from Michigan with us right now, just back from a trip to Nigeria.
In fact, not too long ago, about a month or so back, and hearing you had to fight back tears talking about what's happening.
200 people were murdered, killed in a church.
Now, I want to ask this.
So, one question was: did things improve?
I think the answer is no on that.
Here's the question.
Proportionally, do we see Christians killing Muslims in Christian areas of Nigeria the way that we are seeing radicalized Islamists killing Christians in Muslim areas of Nigeria?
What I can tell you, Representative Haizenga, is that Christians are disproportionately targeted based on their population.
Exactly.
And by the way, for those that can't pick up with the microphones, there's audible yeses behind you.
Again, the people that are watching who are nodding their heads.
Why?
Because they have lived this.
Their families have lived this.
i went to school with kids from nigeria i've got neighbors who've been missionaries there who have family there who have friends there who know this is going on Yet we've got not just the mass media, we've got people within the Congress denying that this is happening, or certainly de-emphasizing it.
It ought to be outrageous that it is Christians, moderate Muslims, anyone being terrorized by these radicalized Islamists in Nigeria.
And we've got the Tanubu government sitting back and not doing enough.
Now, you have, fresh off this trip, been able to see like firsthand on the ground what it's like there.
You've been able to hear from these people, not just in hearings, but also in person.
What's their spirit like right now?
You know, I got to tell you, one of the most powerful things that we were able to do was on Sunday morning, we went to a church service.
And so the section of Christianity that I belong to, the Christian Reform Church in North America, is headquartered in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
It's an offshoot of the Dutch Reformed movement.
But Nigeria has been a mission field for our church for well over 100 years.
About 40% of all the practitioners are actually in Nigeria.
The other 60% are in the U.S. and Canada.
And I was able to go to a Christian Reformed church in Abuja, just outside of Abuja, and be able to worship with brothers and sisters.
And the head of the Christian Reform Church in Nigeria, Reverend Magaji is his name, was there.
And we had a bit of a surprise visitor.
The Minister of Defense, his name is Minister Musa.
He is a former general, just retired general, General Musa, who has been brought back in very recently by the Tanubu government to become the Minister of Defense.
He joined us.
He and his wife and his three adult kids were at the church service and worshiping with us.
And he gave an interview afterwards talking about these folks that some call bandits, he called terrorists, and that we need to go after them.
And that was a significant, significant, I think, moment in this trip because we saw Christian leaders in Nigeria finally seeing someone at a significant level within the government acknowledging what is going on.
And for Minister Musa to see And look people in the eye and tell them that this is not acceptable.
That was a big, big moment, even within Nigeria.
Now, we've got a long way to go.
And as I said in multiple, multiple interviews in Nigeria and now afterwards, the proof is in the pudding.
You know, actions speak louder than words.
And we have to see the Nigerian government step up in a very different way to help protect their citizens, especially the Christians in that middle belt who have been targeted by mostly Fulani Muslims.
Congressman Bill Heisinger with us right now from Michigan.
And the solution here, the answer.
Obviously, look, I know the Bible says we wrestle not against flesh and blood.
I think that's right.
This is something much bigger than what we're seeing play out even in front of our eyes.
But we have seen President Trump stand up and mention that he would take action.
What do you see as a solution here?
And obviously, you mentioned some very encouraging, hopeful news that folks there involved with it, high up in the government would be attending services and worshiping with some of those folks.
Well, you know, look, I think first and foremost, you have to admit that you have a problem.
They are close to doing that publicly.
They won't really quite do that.
There's factions within their own government that I witnessed in private meetings that were really fighting back against the whole narrative that President Trump and others have talked about.
I think the facts are undeniable with what has been going on.
We had a chance to meet with the governor of the state of the Plateau State.
It's where this massacre that happened at Christmastime two years ago, that's what I was talking about in the audio that you ran.
He came in and was very forceful about what has been happening in his home state of Plateau.
So is it encouraging?
Yes.
Have they come to a solution?
No.
I mean, that was another question I've been asked: you know, did they present the plan?
Well, no, they haven't.
But again, you first have to acknowledge that you have a problem, and they're getting there with that.
But what we heard consistently from people outside of government was keep the pressure up.
Keep the pressure up on the government because this is forcing a conversation within Nigeria and within the broader international world about what is happening in Nigeria and writ large, what's happening with groups like Boko Haram and in other areas of West Africa.
So it was a very, very quick trip.
We were on the ground for about 29 or maybe 30 hours total.
We packed in a lot.
We got to see some of the highest government officials, even at Christmastime.
And their capital, Abuja, is a lot like Washington, D.C., where everybody is there, except almost nobody is from there, right?
And so at the holidays, they all go back home too.
And what our timing of this trip also said something very powerfully to them, which is, and we heard this from people, you were willing to take time out at this holiday season to get all the way over to Nigeria to find out what was going on and to express your displeasure and hope to work with the Nigerian government.
That said a lot.
And I just want to thank my colleagues who also were on this trip because they delayed their family plans as well.
But we saw Nigerian government officials that either didn't leave or they even came back in some cases to make sure that we were having meetings Saturday night and all day on Sunday before we took a nearly a midnight flight out on Sunday.
So I think it was a successful stake in the ground, but we need to continue to reinforce that on a regular, regular basis.
Absolutely.
Well, glad that you're back.
You're home safe and sound and can celebrate Christmas with the family.
We wish you the best.
Congressman Bill Heisega from Michigan's 4th Congressional District, the Republican here with us this morning.
Thank you, sir.
Hey, good to be with you.
Blessings to you and blessings to all of our brothers and sisters around the world.
You got it.
Yeah, especially in a time like today.
You know, this is a Christian persecution, folks.
It's not far off from the actual story about the guy, obviously Jesus, but the guy that we celebrate, Santa Claus, St. Nicholas, went through much of that himself.
Santa Claus and Christian Persecution 00:09:20
In fact, in a little bit, we'll talk about that coming up on the program today.
No matter where you are, we appreciate you being here with us on the Glenn Beck program.
Justin Barkley in for Glenn today.
Back next.
Even got some good news on the way.
This is the Glenn Beck program.
Teach your kids right.
Shoot.
You know schools won't do it for you.
This is Glenn Beck.
I want you to meet Candace.
She's a young woman, unsure about the future of a life growing inside of her.
But after meeting her baby on an ultrasound provided by Pre-Born, she had a change of heart.
He's like this tiny little spectrum of hope.
And I saw his heart beating on the screen.
And I mean, that sonogram changed my life.
Ultrasounds save lives.
And Pre-Born currently has clinics that do not have any ultrasound machines.

It ties right into what we're just talking about, the persecution and the rise of Christian persecution, not just in Nigeria, but all over the world.
And a little bit of good news, in fact, the real story behind the big man in the red suit, not the big man with the red hat or the red tie.
We'll talk about him a little bit later on today.
But the big man of the red suit today, a real Christian named Nicholas, a fourth century pastor and bishop in Myra.
That's now Turkey.
And he wasn't a cartoon character.
In fact, he was a man known for quite the generosity.
Most famous story says he helped a broke family by giving money in secret so their daughters could have a future.
That give in secret, that's the instinct straight out of the playbook from the man who the holiday is all about.
Jesus.
But Nicholas didn't live in comfy times.
Christians faced crackdowns then too under the Roman Empire.
And tradition says Nicholas was imprisoned for his faith during those persecutions.
Punished simply for refusing to deny Christ.
Centuries later, his name and reputation traveled through Europe.
Sinterklaus in Dutch is what they call him.
Eventually, Santa Claus in America.
So the lesson and the good news here, even when the culture gets hostile, you know, you see it.
We're watching it in Nigeria and even on the streets of Washington, D.C., certainly Chirac.
But simple faithfulness still leaves a mark.
You can do good.
You can give.
With a smile, quietly.
Stand firm.
And boy, good conquers evil each and every time.
That's the good news and more of it on a Christmas Eve edition of the Glen Beck program.
Justin Barkley, In for Glenn.
I'm at Mr.Justin Barkley, all over social media.

This is Glenn Beck.
Gotta face the dog and embrace the fire.
The fusion of entertainment and enlightenment.
This is the Glenn Beck Program.
You've got to see it.
What the White House, the actual White House account is streaming live right now is it's going to have you rolling on the floor in stitches.
I'll share that coming up.
And just a month.
Chances are, Kess, it turns out Santa's not the only one with a list.
And I'll explain.
Coming up, Justin Barklay in for Glenn today on the Glen Beck program.
So much still yet to come on this Christmas Eve edition.
Stay with us.
Back next.
The older I get, the more I think about trust.
I think about the people in my life who have my trust and earned my trust and the trust that I have placed in some people who I later learned abused that trust.
This is streaming as we speak right now on the White House account over on X or formerly Twitter.
I think maybe they maybe even have this over on.
I've got to be careful how much if I play this because I'm not sure what, well, it just sounds like it's probably, you know, royalty-free stuff.
But Santa's not the only one with a list.
Apparently, it shows like a video of President Trump sitting at the White House, no doubt, or maybe Mar-a-Lago.
I'm not really sure.
There's a fire going, a roaring fire.
In the distance, you see the tree, the lights twinkling, and presents laid underneath with bows and a glass of milk and a plate full of what I can only assume are hot, fresh chocolate chip cookies sitting next to him on that table.
And in front of them, prominently displayed that list, the naughty list.
It's name after name of criminal illegal aliens.
I think these are real names.
I think these are real names.
The White House says breaking Santa's naughty list, the worst of the lurs.
Lo-fi edition.
No coal, just deportation.
So you can, you know, some people like, I like, I like to do the little fireplace in the background, you know, or put that on the television.
Little, little, sort of low music.
You can watch the, you know, fireplace go or whatnot and put a little jazz or something like that on and enjoy it.
This is perfect for relaxing.
President Trump's naughty list.
Well, from naughty the nice, let's get to our next guest who knows a thing or two about both, actually.
Dr. Quentin Schultz joins us right now and is the author of a book.
Came out last year.
It's fantastic.
And it really tells you the true story of the movie you're going to be watching over the next 24 hours or even longer.
That Christmas story written by Gene Shepard.
The Leg Lamp's Deeper Meaning 00:10:52
He had some time to sit down with Gene, who is kind of really a legend, not just in television now and movies, but initially radio throughout the years.
In fact, Dr. I just shared one of my favorite sayings of all time and I attribute to him, which is, in God we trust, all others pay cash.
Welcome in and Merry Christmas.
Oh, ho, ho, Justin.
Listen, I just had a conversation via text messaging with your wife, and she told me that I should not give you a leg lamp for Christmas.
So I'm sorry, buddy.
It's not coming this year.
I'm not a leg lamp kind of guy.
Although I will tell you, that movie in that scene may be one of the most classics of all time.
And I have noticed, now that I know what you say about that lamp and the truth about it, I've noticed it.
And it's kind of funny for me driving through some of the more interesting neighborhoods in some really big homes.
Some well-to-do folks prominently displayed some leg lamps in their front windows.
And I have to wonder about that.
Yeah, you do have to wonder what's going on here.
Gene Shepard, the storyteller, the screenwriter, told me when I taught with him at Calvin University, it was then Calvin College in Grand Rapids.
I invited him.
I wanted to learn storytelling from the best, and he was the best I could find.
And I invited him to come and teach storytelling with me.
And I learned how he tells stories, and I learned about the stories that are in a Christmas story.
Everything from the kid getting his tongue stuck on the flagpole to, of course, the leg lamp, the whole Red Rider BB gun thing.
I mean, there's so much in there.
It's a number of stories.
And every one of those stories is aimed at getting to a point, a message about life.
And that's why I wrote the book, You'll Shoot Your Eye Out, Life Lessons from the Movie A Christmas Story, because it's not just comedy.
It's all of these incredible messages, some of which are political that people have no idea Gene was getting at.
But that was one of the great times in my life before he died in 99 to get to know him.
So any question you have, although you've read the book, you have some idea what's behind the scenes in the book.
It's just so much fun.
You know, the interesting thing, and I wonder about this, but he sort of communicated through this movie in ways that we kind of take for granted because we think it's just some Christmas movie that we sort of sapple.
You know, look, we love it because it's nostalgic on all the rest of it.
There's something much deeper happening.
And it's like he was telling these stories through parables, just the way that Jesus used to talk and teach.
Yeah, Gene learned that growing up in Chicago, following some of the Chicago journalists who wrote in the newspapers then, and they used parables.
And they didn't want to mention the real names of the politicians who were doing nasty things in Chicago way back then, as they still do.
But so they would change names and so on and change a few aspects of the story.
And that's what Gene did.
So you look at everything going on in that movie, and it's all there for a purpose.
And the purposes have to do with what Gene believed about life, especially about the differences between males and females.
That's right.
I'm asserting there's a difference between male and female because that's what Gene believed.
And he believed that men are incurably romantic and are impractical.
And women are practical and rational and bail men out from the problems that men get into because of this romantic urge.
Now, the romantic urge can be directed at women.
Okay.
So that's sort of the basic view.
But then Gene says to me, he says, hey, hey, Quentin, he says, you know, really what's going on here with the leg lamp is that the light lamp, you know, that's a trophy wife.
I said, Gene, the leg lamp is a trophy wife?
What the heck are you talking about?
He said, you got to pay attention, man.
You're supposed to be a communication professor and you don't get it.
He said, what happens?
They pull that crate in, and the crate was too big, by the way.
They couldn't get it through the door.
So they had to cut part of it off.
And it says his end up rather than this end up.
And then, of course, he starts opening it and he sees fragile on the side.
And he mispronounces that fragile.
And he gets this thing and he starts pulling it out like an archaeologist with a treasure.
And it's this goofy, tawdry, awful looking leg lamp.
And he holds it up his major award.
And then he says, and here's the key, this male versus female thing.
He says to his wife, mom, at that point, he says, I know exactly where to put this.
And then he heads over to that front window.
And mom is looking at this saying, oh, no, another thing.
Why do males do this?
If it's a car, if it's a piece of machinery, whatever it is, men get romantically involved in these things that cause trouble.
And now he's got this trophy wife, and the trophy wife is the dog-gone lamp.
And mom knows at that point, if you look at the film carefully, she's going to have to destroy that.
In other words, she's going to have to undo the affair that the old man has created because he's fallen in love with a leg lamp, which he turns on in the front window, but then he says he's going to display it in the front window to turn on the neighborhood.
See, you get all of this stuff going on.
And Gene believed that about guys.
They just go crazy, especially over technology.
And so he's got quite a bit.
As I talk about in the book, he said, you got to try to tackle technology.
You're never going to completely overcome it, but you've got to try to tackle it.
So he's always battling the car, and the car freezes up in the winter, even in the waiter.
The furnace, yeah.
The furnace is a huge problem.
Gene said to me one time about that when the furnace goes the first time, and he's got to run downstairs to fix it.
You know, clinker!
And he runs downstairs and trips over a couple toys and all.
And he gets down there, and Gene said, he says, Quantin, he said, you know, that doggone old man, he's going down to the fifth level of Dante's Inferno, close to the depths of hell, and he's going to battle that demon of the furnace, and he's going to lose.
That's how he saw it.
What would Gene think today about AI?
He would say AI is a scam.
Okay.
And the reason he would say that is, as I have in one of the chapters of the book, Don't Trust the Media.
Okay.
He was in the media.
He knew a lot of media people.
He served on Hollywood Guilds with some well-known people.
And he would always say to me, he would say, wow, you know, Professor Schultz, you can't really trust these media people.
And he just had a dismal, dismal view of media.
The only thing he really liked in media was watching football.
And he was a big Chicago Bears fan.
But I think he would look at this and say, it's another media scam.
It's all hyped up.
And at some point, it's going to come crashing down because there is no way that computers are going to actually be as smart as human beings, especially on the creative side.
You know, it really is interesting.
I think about that.
These thoughts, the technology had a lot, it really does has a way to really enhance our lives, but it can tear us down at the same time.
And it really is about who's using it, right?
And whose hands it's in.
Right.
But you can't take the person out of that picture.
Otherwise, things don't work out.
It never can.
No, never can.
And it's never going to be perfect.
The business won't be perfect.
His car won't.
What did he see in everyday American life?
What did he see about us that we miss the most?
Yes.
That's a great question because here's a Christmas story set in about 1939.
And one of the things about the movie, he insisted, was to put all these little bits of Americana.
So whether it's the radio show that's on, you know, with the Ovalteen commercial, or whether it's the type of detergent on the shelf in the kitchen, whatever it is, it's the little stuff of everyday life that we live in that's most interesting.
In fact, here's the thing.
I went out to, you live in the Grand Rapids, Michigan area, and I have lived in West Michigan too.
And Gene was with me, and we went out to a diner, and the diner had a radio station doing a live remote.
And Gene looked at that, and he went over and he talked to the guys.
He didn't say who he was, but he talked to the guys who were sitting there doing this live remote in the morning, and they were giving away some cheap plastic cups that had the call letters of the station on them.
And he went over, he said, listen, I really like one of those.
He said, you know, there will be a time, maybe it's two, three hundred years from now, when archaeologists will be digging up the remains of North American culture.
And those cups will say an awful lot about what our culture was like.
And so it's all the little stuff, all the little stuff.
And that's what got Jerry Seinfeld interested in Shepard.
And Seinfeld says that he learned his entire comedic sensibility from Gene Shepard, the writer of the movie, A Christmas Story.
You say, how can that be?
Well, you look at Seinfeld as a TV show.
It's all about everyday life.
Yeah.
Right?
And that's the way Gene was.
He wanted us to remember that what's important in life is the everyday stuff that we're doing, the people we're meeting, the crazy things that are happening, the flat tires, this and that.
And it's not all this high-falutin stuff that's in the literature that you read in college.
But he wanted to get it everyday life, and Seinfeld did too.
Seinfeld said to me that he learned his entire comedic sensibility from Shepard.
Life Lessons from A Christmas Story 00:05:26
I want to talk a little bit more about this.
Dr. Quentin Schultz with us right now.
He's written the book.
In fact, I definitely recommend picking it up.
But you'll see the movie all over in the next 24 hours again and again and again if you haven't ever seen it.
Definitely a piece of history.
I recommend going to check it out.
But when I come back, I want to ask you if you can hang with us for a bit here, Doc, just to ask you about a little bit more about the dad in the movie or that character, who he is.
Like, is that guy a hero?
Is he maybe, I don't want to say villain, but a warning to us, as you just mentioned, sort of this trophy wife narrative and some other questions about the movie that you've seen maybe over and over again, but you just never noticed.
We'll do that when we come back with Dr. Quentin Schultz talking about the book, You'll Shoot Your Eye Out, back after this on the Glenn Beck program.

The man who wrote it, Dr. Quent Schultz is with us right now, and he's written the book on all of this.
And it's called You'll Shoot Your Eye Out.
So I got to ask the, we only have a couple of minutes here left, but the dad, a couple of questions here.
But first, the dad, hero or villain, or is it a little bit more mixed there?
Where do you land on that?
Yeah, it's mixed.
Gene just felt that guys had a problem where they would try to tackle more than they could, and that would get him into trouble.
And so, and he gets in trouble with all the electrical cords.
He's got fuses blowing all over, and he could replace fuses faster than a jackrabbit on a date, as the old man says.
So he's a down deep, he's a lovable guy, and he does want to love his family.
He wants to care for his family, but he's always got challenges going on.
I think most men can identify it with that.
You've got challenges going on.
I see a lot, yeah, especially as I get older in some of those pieces from the movie.
Why do you think this movie has stood the test of time?
Why do you think it's lasted so long?
What is it, like the magic in it that really just makes it stick?
Yeah, what Gene wanted to do for the magic was to say that what are the kinds of situations that we get into in life, in this case, around Christmas.
His other movies had to do with other holidays.
He's got one on the 4th of July, and he's got one on Thanksgiving and so on.
The kinds of situations that we can all identify with, even though we may be from a different social class or a different part of the country.
To some extent, the film is not done real well in other parts of the world.
Even in Canada, it's not that popular.
But really, in terms of Americana, what is it?
What's it like?
What's the magic about opening gifts, let's say, in this case on Christmas morning, or the magic of a kid really wanting, desiring deeply a particular gift and trying to figure out how to get parents or the teacher to give him the Red Rider BB rifle.
And, of course, the only one that he does not ask for it is the old man.
That's his father, is the one who gives it to him.
And so the old man comes through in the end.
And that scene where the old man and mom are watching Ralphie unpack that rifle is a fantastic scene because there you really catch the love that the old man has for Ralphie.
And even mom, looking at the old man while the old man is watching Ralphie unpack it, you see how pleased she is.
Even though she didn't want to give a rifle because he would shoot his eye out to Ralphie, she sees that the old man loves him.
But in general, the heroes in Gene Shepard's stories and the hero in this movie, too, is mom.
Mom is the hero.
She's more playful.
She's more persuasive.
The scene where she gets Randy to eat the meatloaf and mashed potatoes, fantastic.
Dr. Quentin Schultz, more in the book.
You'll want to pick it up.
You'll shoot your eye out.

Back with more of the Glenn Beck program after this.
This is Glenn Beck.
We are only a few weeks into winter and already brutal cold, huge snowstorms, and of course, power outages.
Think about this.
If the power goes out when it's really cold, do you have a way to keep yourself and your family warm?
Winter power outages can even be life-threatening.
We learned this in Texas not too long ago.
That's why so many Americans are getting a Vesta off-grid heater from my Patriot supply.
It's a space heater.
It doesn't use electricity or propane.
It runs on something called canned heat, and it's an indoor safe fuel.
With Vesta, if you have it stashed in your closet, you know you can keep warm, keep your kids warm no matter what.
And it even doubles as a stove to cook your food in case you have an electric cooktop.
The best part is right now, you can get the Vesta and a bunch more preparedness gear as free gifts when you order the winter survival kit from my Patriot Supply.
Go to mypatriotsupply.com/slash Glenn, see everything that's included.

New website, a new app, a new way to understand the world we're living in.
Launching January 5th at Glenbeck.com.
Okay, I never thought I'd say this, but have you seen Hunter Biden?
Well, he's making headlines for a whole new reason.
Hey, it's Justin Barkley in for Glenn today on the Glenn Beck program, Christmas Eve edition.
Justin atjustinBarkley.com, B-A-R-C-L-A-Y, Justin atjustinBarkley.com.
You can email me.
Love to hear from you as we're on the air.
Questions, comments, concerns, complaints, take a number.
You can get to me there.
And also on the program, 888737BECK.
But listen, this Hunter Biden stuff that's coming out is all from an interview, by the way.
He sounds like he's going to be speaking at the next TPUSA.
He did an interview with a guy the chance to meet, Sean Ryan.
You're probably familiar with Sean.
He's got a massive show, mostly on YouTube and I'm sure Spotify a couple of different places.
But, you know, Sean's interviewed all kinds of people, very interesting topics, from military politics to UFOs.
I mean, you name it.
The guy, very, very entertaining, very interesting show.
And at first, when I saw this, Sean, I have to admit, I said, very nice guy, by the way.
And as I said, I really enjoy the show, but I said, wait a minute, why is he talking to Hunter Biden?
Why is he giving that guy the time of day?
And I thought about it.
Well, you had Hannity talked to Gavin Newsom, right?
I guess.
I guess I'd be willing to talk.
But you got it.
And I haven't seen the whole interview, so I don't know how Sean handled it, but I think it would have a hard time, you know, staying neutral in an interview like that.
And there are a couple of reasons why, but in fact, maybe I can play some of that a little bit later on.
But I just plan this clip just so you, because it's news, and I want you to be able to hear what he has to say here.
But Hunter Biden sounding like he's going to be the next big guest at America Festival.
Immigration.
But we don't want immigrants that are coming here illegally draining us of resources.
What?
And also being prioritized above people that are actual literal heroes that are coming home that are still recovering from 20 years of endless war.
Did this guy, was he around?
Was he conscious when his dad was president?
That's all President Biden did was open the gates wide open.
This is like the most epic, in some ways, it's like rewriting history.
Oh, no, we never did that.
One of the biggest problems we face today, and President Trump's been able to handle it, close the borders, and now it's really how do you get these people?
How do you get them out?
Vibrant immigration.
But we don't want immigrants that are coming here illegally, draining us of resources and also being prioritized above people that are actual literal heroes.
Anyway, I recommend, I like Sean, I like the show, so I recommend you go watch it.
I'm going to have to go watch the whole thing to see how it was handled.
But I think to myself, Hunter Biden?
Of all people, Hunter Biden, how do you square that?
How do you have that interview without saying, well, come on, come on.
And I will say this.
He seems sober.
And I give people the benefit of the doubt.
You know, you get a second chances or 20-second chances or whatever it might be for Hunter.
I get it.
But at the end of the day, I know we like to see that.
It's a good thing.
People pulling their lives back together.
Wouldn't wish bad things on anyone.
But look at all of the dirt, all of the things that we've seen, and particularly through the course of the last several years and the things that come out about Hunter and the family and everything else.
And the way he kind of gaslights us and, well, I don't know, sort of defends his dad is a real.
Now, I understand that's a natural thing.
You want to defend your dad.
You're going to say everything you can to make that happen.
But also, some of this is really a stretch.
It's rewriting history.
And I understand that the media does that on a daily basis, so it shouldn't be any surprise to any of us, but it is happening.
Well, how about some good news?
The CNN has forced even CNN, forced to admit it at this point.
Apparently, what Trump is doing, they said it wouldn't.
They said it wouldn't work.
But now they're saying what Trump is doing is, well, it's working begrudgingly, they have to admit it.
The U.S. economy much better than expected.
GDP growing the fastest rate in two years.
Americans seeing prices ease at the grocery store.
Oh, yeah.
And let's not even forget about the gas pump.
A new report shows the U.S.
She sounds a little drunk, doesn't she?
Speed her back up.
Let's get her back.
This economy was much stronger than expected in the third quarter.
GDP grew at the fastest rate in two years.
This is incredible.
I just can't imagine.
Americans are also seeing some prices ease at the grocery store.
The cost of eggs, milk, chicken, and tomatoes are all down as you see here on the screen.
Whoa, who want to funk it?
Now, some of the things that are up, by the way, coffee, and that's not because of tariffs or anything else.
And beef, you know, there's another one that's, again, there are multiple circumstances for that, but it has nothing to do with tariffs.
And by the way, the eggs, that was a big one.
And the reason the eggs were so expensive at the time were because they were killing all the chickens.
You know, the bird flu and whatnot.
I'm not saying you don't take that seriously.
That's not what I'm getting at.
But at the end of the day, look, it might be important that we don't just willy-nilly go in and off all the chickens.
Because let's say you end up with $10 a dozen eggs.
It just obviously to anybody who's paying attention, to anybody who's got a couple of brain cells clicking together there, you get it.
You understand.
And gas prices, again, another big one.
By the way, this is something that has to be done.
The president did this a couple of days back.
I have been making this because you've heard affordability.
That's the latest hoax.
But previous to the Epstein thing yesterday.
But this, you have to do this.
And what he has done and what they must continue to do, I'll make a case for this coming back here in just a minute, but I will tell you, has to be putting this stuff, and that is the news, good news, front and center.
The other day he swerved.
He swerved the media like they've never seen, but they thought he was going to announce a war with Venezuela.
He just came out and talked about how great the economy is.
How great everything's going.
They're never going to say it.
In fact, you'll get in arguments with people on social media, these people that just will not admit it.
I put gas in my tank in Michigan for $2.41 a gallon the other day.
$241 a gallon.
CNN even admitting record holiday travel meeting lower prices at the pump right now.
If you look across the country, there's 10 states where the average is below $2.50 a gallon, right?
Including Louisiana, Texas, Wisconsin, Iowa, Colorado.
Oklahoma has the cheapest gas price in the country at $2.29 a gallon.
And this trend could continue at least for a bit.
A gas buddy is projecting that the national average on Christmas Day will be just $279 a gallon.
That would take out the low from last year, which was previously the lowest since 2020.
And GasBuddy says this will save drivers about a half a billion dollars over what they spent last year.
Not each, collectively.
Not each, collectively.
Yuck it up.
But it's a huge number.
Half a billion dollars.
It's going to save everybody.
Just think about how much money you're saving.
I mean, where we were last year at this time was over, I think it was $320 something.
And if they're not paying $240, that's almost a dollar difference.
Now, who knows?
Because Michigan's all over the map.
It'll go up and down every day.
They have a way here, especially in West Michigan, kind of like moving things up and down for various different reasons.
But I'm just telling you, this is the kind of thing they've got to continue to do.
I'm going to talk more about that here in a minute, because that should be moving into the new year front and center.
I believe it is one of the core pieces of their strategy.
Because 2026 and the midterms, we've heard all kinds of people talk about the problems or the issues or what they've got to be careful about and what's happening.
You have to understand, President Trump has already made this massive amount of shift and change in just a few months, right?
I mean, we're talking less than a year.
Imagine what he can get done in four.
None of it gets done in the next several years if the Democrats take control back of the House again in 2026 and put a stop to all of it.
It's just, we're going to be, again, we're going to be sitting in deadlock.
That's how important 2026 is.
And in order to make sure that these folks get elected, yes, we've got to actually see good things happening.
Why 2026 Elections Matter 00:02:58
But once they happen, you got to tell people they happen.
Because the media is not going to do it.
And Democrats certainly, certainly will.
They flat out lie to your face every day.
All right, back with more in minutes.
In fact, I got more good news on the Christmas Eve edition, Justin Barkley in for Glenn Today on the Glenn Beck program.
Back next.
The wise man once said, trust in God and always keep watch on the gate.
I don't know about you, but that sounds like a solid plan to me.
This is Glenn Beck.
Meet Bob.
He's 63 years old.
He spent 40 years as a body man and car painter.
Bob heard me talk about Relief Factor and decided, give it a shot.
Bob wrote in, he said, Glenn, I could barely walk.
I couldn't make it up the stairs.
Day four or five, I began to feel the change.
But after just eight days on Relief Factor, I'm 75% better.
I'm comfortable, and I'm thoroughly impressed.
These are the kinds of transformations that are common with Relief Factory.
In fact, two out of the three people who try it go on to order more month after month.
And I'm one of those people.
I wasn't banging on cars all day like Bob, but my pain was in my hands and it was debilitating nonetheless.
I couldn't paint.
I couldn't write.
I was quickly losing hope.
And I feared the rest of my life, I just have to live with the pain.
So if you're living with daily aches and pains, Relief Factor might be the real deal for you.
Try the three-week quick start today.
It's only $19.95.
See how it works for you.
Visit relieffactor.com or call 800, the number four, relief.

Love.
Love to hear from you on the email on this Christmas Eve edition of the Glenn Beck program, whether you're preparing things in the kitchen or putting the last minute sort of additions, wrapping things up, whatever it is, or still going to or fro over the river and through the woods.
We're glad that you're here with us today.
Second time around the block delayed.
Third quarter numbers.
We're looking for 3.3 Zoom, Zoom, Zoom.
4.3%.
4.3%.
That is a nice jump.
And I know many may question data gathering, but on the surface, this would be the strongest quarter going back to the third quarter of 2023 when it was 4.7.
This is strong.
3.5 on consumption blows away the 2.7 we were expecting.
Strong Q3 Numbers, Higher Prices 00:17:41
That would be the best since the last quarter of 24 on the price index.
Here's some not good news.
This is 3.8% on the price index.
That's much higher than 2.7 we were looking for.
So any, this is this is, I think, part of that conversation we just mentioned.
We're seeing grocery prices going down.
CNN even had to admit it.
You're seeing the gas prices, which is massive.
Let's be honest.
And this never would have happened under Biden, particularly never would have happened under Kamala.
It just never would have been a thing.
They were still in this wind, solar, and unicorn green pipe dream scam.
That's the world they lived in.
They were never coming out of it.
How dare you?
Now, the reason for that, and anybody that wants to argue, presidents don't control the price of oil.
Oh, they don't?
The policies don't?
It did nothing for the price when Biden emptied the reserves and never refilled them.
You're telling me the minute that Trump got elected, the prices started inching down, that nothing happened.
Oh, and there is a guess.
I'll give you this.
There is a bit of an OPEC angle to this as well that does play into it as well.
But part of that is the relationship Trump has had with the Saudis and with OPEC.
And it's a completely different world.
So you've got it.
These are common sense.
A lot of these things appear, at least to me anyway, to be self-evident.
However, there are people that have Trump Derrange syndrome and the rest that just will never admit.
They're never going to give him credit.
That's why the Trump administration, president himself, and the various other folks like me and Glenn and the rest of folks that are on radio and television, podcasts, et cetera, writers, these people that if you're a bit, I mean, even a bit, they would just call you common sense.
If you believe a man's a man's a woman's woman, that type of thing.
Just tell the truth and get these stories out there because the mainstream media will not.
They will bury it.
They continue, again, to sell now that all of the issues that we've faced over the past four years are somehow Trump's fault and that Trump is starting to have dementia-like symptoms just the way Biden did.
They didn't mind.
It's just crazy.
They're trying to sell that.
They do it each and every day.
So the strategy has to be, if you want any success in 2026, is to continue.
I mean, the only way to get this to people is constant repetition.
Tell the story and tell it over and over again.
Just do the work.
You got to do the work.
President Trump does a lot of this.
You see, heads down, there are so many things happening.
They're getting so much done.
But I got to continue to make sure that everyone hears these stories and the good news over and over and over again.
Because we're inundated with so much of the bad over the last four years, it's hard to take it all in.
We'll do just that coming up in minutes as we got more on the Glenn Beck program just around the corner.
Justin Barkley in for today.
Merry Christmas.
This is Glenn Beck.
This is the Glenn Beck Program.
A Merry Christmas Eve to you.
It's Justin Barkley filling in for Glenn today on the Glenn Beck program.
And boy, oh boy, then we have a treat for you coming up in the last hour of the program here.
The big guy.
The big guy joins us coming up in just a moment.
Well, who is that?
No, no, I'm not talking about 10% for the big guy.
I'll explain coming up here in just a moment something you will not want to miss.
Plus, the secret and the real story of Christmas.
You won't want to miss.
All on the way, as we dig in, whether you're on a tour from, you're gathering goodies for a celebration you're headed to or taking it easy on a day that we get ready to celebrate.
We appreciate you being here with us.
Back after this on the Glenbeck program.
You probably heard Relief Factor commercials where somebody says to his spouse regarding his pain, you don't understand.
It's gone.
Well, Sharon told us that's exactly how she feels.
She wrote to me.
She said, Glenn, Relief Factor has helped me so much.
Well, she was right again, of course, and I got my life back.
Not only did I not have to live in pain, I could thrive again.
If pain has been holding you back, maybe it's time you found out why so many people, just like Sharon, just like me, make Relief Factor part of their daily routine.
Two out of three people who try it go on to order more month after month.
I'm one of them.
Try the three-week quick start today.
See how it works for you.
Visit relieffactor.com, 800, the number four relief.
That's 800, the number four, relief.
800-4-RELIEF I told you we had the big guy, standing by, ready to go.
I've been enjoying, I've been enjoying thoroughly the latest, I think, that are soon to be Christmas classics.
Tis the season to deport them.
Fa la We love ice and we support them.
Fa la Send them on one-way vacations.
Fa la Ramp up those mess deportations.
Fa la There's a second verse you're going to need to hear too coming up.
But first, let's welcome to the show, Sean Farrish, who's got his own show uncovered on the Rumble Channel LFA TV Weekdays today.
And thank you so much for being here with us, Sean.
I think I wanted to have you on because I think I absolutely love you.
I think the first time I saw you ever do something like this was, guys, I don't know, maybe it was TikTok, Instagram, something like that.
And I think you may have been going through drive-throughs making orders of burgers or something at McDonald's or something like that as the president.
And it just cracked me up.
And it has ever since.
So welcome in and Merry Christmas.
Hey, thank you so much, Justin.
Merry Christmas to you too.
And yeah, a lot of the videos that started going viral at first were it was kind of like our own version of Impractical Jokers, you know, the TV show.
Like, I go to the drive-thru and order this like Donald Trump.
And I was like, yeah, might as well.
You know, what's the worst that can happen?
Someone's going to spit in the food.
So, you know, I first started ordering like my friend's food and then started ordering mine.
And then people were like, hey, we got to do this.
You know, come upstate New York and do a drive-thru up here, too.
And I went to Arby's and it was the whole thing.
So, but it's a lot of fun.
And I appreciate the fact that you like it.
And this is the fifth year in a row that I've been doing Christmas-themed stuff around this time.
I'll be dropping the night before Christmas.
I do it every year tonight.
But apparently, the tis the season to deport them was well received by even the administration.
They wound up using it.
They wound up using it in a couple of videos.
They took the song and they put it behind a video of illegals getting handcuffed.
So I was thrilled to see it.
You know what?
This is great.
Let's get a couple of laughs.
And it's worked out pretty well.
You kind of sound like the president a little bit.
We're talking to Sean Farrish, who is, like I said, you kind of have that little bit of that sound.
I mean, where did this, how did you figure out you could do him?
Yeah, one of my favorite questions ever.
The origin story, right?
So, well, first of all, I'm from New York.
I grew up in New York.
So that kind of helps me.
I'm from Long Island.
So I grew up there.
He was obviously Donald Trump from Queens.
So, you know, similar kind of accent, similar thought process, personality.
I pride myself on not really having a filter either.
So, you know, he ran for president in 2016.
I was selling direct TV, you know, satellite television.
And I was on Long Island doing that.
And I would get a lot of questions because Long Island, you know, New York State, Long Island is a primarily red area, right?
It's more Republicans than Democrats there.
And that's gotten, that's become, you know, the case even more so after COVID.
But I was selling direct TV and I would have people, you know, ask me, hey, if I switch, like, am I going to be able to keep Fox News?
You know, it was the middle of an election year.
So I would look at them and I was like, well, we're never going to take that.
I would never make you watch the fake news.
We would never do that.
And right face to face with these customers and like, what was that?
And I was like, you know, so they would buy from me, right?
Because they're having a good time.
It was like a very unorthodox sales pitch.
But what was hard is when I would get a liberal and they'd be like, yeah, MSNBC is one of my favorite channels.
And I was like, hmm, great.
You know, wonderful.
Yo, you'll keep that.
You know, whatever.
I had to kind of bite my tongue.
But yeah, I figured out I could do that when I was selling because I was just having fun selling.
I left that and went into paint because it turns out paint is easier to sell.
Everyone needs paint.
Not everyone needs satellite television.
But my contractors on Long Island were big Trump guys, a lot of them.
These are blue-collar guys.
They're running painting companies and they would come in and all of a sudden I would tell them, well, you're looking at it.
The paint puts itself on the wall.
You don't even have to do it.
All you have to do is open the can.
It puts itself on the wall.
It's the greatest paint the world has ever seen.
It's so great.
And they would laugh and all that.
So eventually through this movement that I had started on Long Island called the Loud Majority, and a friend of mine, Kevin Smith, now does that, co-founded it with me on Long Island.
A friend of ours, when I was out knocking doors for a New York City council candidate trying to get her on the ballot in the primary, she wound up winning the election.
And she currently serves on the New York City Council.
A friend of mine was like, hey, you got to do that Trump impersonation on TikTok.
And I said to him, Jimmy, I get along well with China, but I don't want to put the app.
I don't want to do China.
He goes, no, you have to do China.
You got to go on that app and you have to do it.
And so I started doing that.
And that's where it took off.
People eventually traced the name Captain Deplorable, which was my TikTok username to me on X.
And now, now that's where most of my content is.
But we're having fun this holiday season, that's for sure.
What is it about some of these words?
The China you just mentioned, that's a big one.
I love to do that too.
I'm not a Trump impersonator.
I'm not skilled like you are, but I like to say China.
I think it's fun.
I love to hear him say it.
And I love to play, like, I'll play him.
How dare you?
Well, no, that's great.
Here he is.
No, that's Python.
Hang on.
Let me get China.
There you go.
But you know, I've noticed, I've noticed that he's got a new word that's really kind of, and I think when he's trying to make a point, he does this.
But have you noticed him do the China thing with Somalia now?
Yeah, Somalia.
He does that all the time.
It's great.
I love it.
He was doing this in his speech.
He was like, and then they're from Somalia.
And I'm like, ah, yes.
Another country that he says funny.
This is great.
So, you know, he also does that.
He's got Russia too.
He's red.
Right?
It's like, it's the same thing.
So it was funny because I did like a years ago, one of my work trainings.
And I was doing this bunch of strangers across the country working for the same company.
You know, you go to a training thing.
And we were out to dinner.
And I just started doing that at the table.
And I was like, all right, everybody, it's time for Trump lessons.
We're going to talk about the three most commonly referred to countries by Donald Trump.
I said, Russia, China, and Mexico.
And we just started going through the whole thing at the table.
It was a table full of like 40 people, and they were just dying.
So, yeah, it's funny when he talks about other countries.
But yeah, Somalia is the one right now that he's kind of, he's got trademarking at.
It's kind of like China 2.0, the way he says it.
It's funny.
Sean Farrish with us right now.
Have you had a chance to meet the president and to do this for him?
Matter of fact, I did.
So in August of 2023, I went to a fundraiser at Bedminster in New Jersey.
So we flew up from Tennessee, went to Bedminster for a J6 Foundation Patriot Freedom Project.
And we didn't know if he was going to show up, but I supported January 6thers and getting justice for them for a while.
It's, you know, it was the right thing to do.
And I knew a bunch of people who were at J6.
I was at J6.
I didn't get any trouble.
I was nowhere near the breach, but I was in DC on January 6th.
So I went to this fundraiser.
Long story short, he did show up and he gave his speech.
And the founder and president of the Patriot Freedom Project stopped him as he was leaving the podium, which Secret Service wasn't necessarily thrilled with.
But she stopped him and she said, Mr. President, that young man right there has got something to say to you.
And it's pointed at me.
And I was like, okay, I guess it's time.
So I jumped up on the stage and he was, I don't know, about 10 feet to my right, if that.
And I just looked at him.
I said, Mr. President, we're going to help you win at a landslide worse than Chris Christie F. Taco Bell.
And he thought that was the funniest thing in the world.
You know, shook my hand.
He laughed.
The whole room went crazy.
So, yes, I did get a chance to meet him then.
And I met him again last year at the Bitcoin conference in Nashville, the crypto conference.
And then I haven't met him since or even really been near him since.
Obviously, he's pretty busy right now.
But in October, in October, we had the Schumer shutdown and the sombrero memes started going viral.
So I popped a sombrero on and I called it the Schumer Siesta instead of the shutdown and started speaking Spanish and doing all this.
So he actually wound up reposting that video.
It's just like, okay.
So, you know, this White House has a great sense of humor.
And, you know, mixed with the results that we're getting, I think it's great.
It's only been, you know, it's been less than a year.
It's almost been about a year.
I don't think we're ever going to have another president like him.
And definitely been enjoying it thus far.
Yeah, he is something else.
There is, that's the thing about him.
There is no other that's been quite like him.
I think they broke them all, at least in entertainment.
And I don't know, you know, clearly when you're looking at the accomplishments of the things that he's been able to get done and how fast he's been able to do them, I just, there's just no comparison.
And I think a lot of times people really need reminding of that, especially as we moved into 2026.
Now, look, I know it's not all just impersonations funny gangs.
You comment on this stuff, too.
So, you know, we were just talking about that, but I want to ask you, when we move into 2026 and all the good things that we just had, the GDP numbers, the gas prices are down, groceries, we see those numbers moving back down as well.
All the big things, obviously closing the border, trying to get some of these folks out that are here.
And all of these stories that we hear in a daily basis, you and I hear them because we're paying attention.
But how important is it to make sure that those continue to get amplified, the push doubt that the regular average everyday joes hear about them, too?
That's very important.
And the number one thing that I like to focus on is the border.
That's always been my number one issue.
You know, back all the way back to 2016.
Immigration Is My Number One Issue 00:03:15
And I was actually in a college class.
I minored in political science.
Well, in one of my college classes, I drove a bunch of liberals nuts in the back corner of the room because I raised my hand.
I knew I was going to 2012, right?
This is before Trump was running.
Romney was running.
And I asked my professor, who happened to be a conservative professor, and I just said to him, hey, do you think we could, you know, create jobs and solve immigration by building a wall on the southern border?
My idea, right?
So he stole it from me.
You're welcome, Mr. President.
My idea.
But I did that.
They went crazy.
You're a racist.
They went nuts in this college class.
And my professor knew I did that just to make them go nuts.
And he was like, did you do that to make them go crazy?
I was like, yeah.
He goes, okay, cool.
So, you know, there is no similarity.
I love to troll.
We call it, we do a little trolling, right?
But I love the border, the success that we've had on the border.
Immigration is my number one issue.
And, you know, they talk about affordability, affordability, affordability.
When you have 10, 20, 30, 40, potentially million illegal aliens in this country competing for, you know, competing for resources, housing, healthcare, transportation, you know, et cetera, you're going to driving the demand for that way up.
You're going to drive the cost of it way up.
And that's exactly what we're seeing.
So people are like, you know, how do we plan on addressing the affordability crisis?
I say, well, mass deportations.
And there are people who don't understand that both go hand in hand.
And that's part of the problem, right?
I think folks are starting to get it now a little bit because you say, hey, if you have 20 million or 30 million illegal aliens in the country and they all need a place to live, well, Americans and legal residents need a place to live too.
And so we're all competing for the same stuff.
It's going to drive the cost up.
So that's number one.
But there was a poll that came out by Harvard Harris.
It's no friend of the administration, right?
I mean, it's a left-leaning pollster.
And it's an illuminating, very, very important poll.
It said that 60% of voters across the country, 60%, want the Democrats to stop with the TDS.
In other words, the question was, do you think Democrats should take a wait and see attitude with Donald Trump's policies or should they just blindly oppose?
And 60%, almost two-thirds, said they would rather see Democrats take a wait and see.
So obviously Republicans, the majority, overwhelming majority of Republicans said, yeah, let's, you know, they should take a wait and see.
But independents did as well.
62% of independents said that Democrats should take a wait and see approach.
The Democrats were the only group in those splits that said that they support, the majority of them support blindly opposing Trump.
And so it sounds like the country is starting to get a little fed up with this, we're going to obstruct everything he does.
Remember, Donald Trump won the popular vote.
The majority of the country wanted to see if his ideas were going to work.
And the Democrats are standing in the way of that.
And I think people right now are getting a little fed up.
So going into 2026, I think that's an important thing to understand.
And we can hit on the sentiment here between independents and Republicans are, hey, you got to give our guy a chance.
He won with a mandate and he won convincingly and you're obstructing it.
You're obstructing the will of the people and that's not cool.
Obstructing The Will Of The People 00:06:21
So, you know, we got to hit that hard and I'm looking forward to doing that in the next year.
Sean Farrish does it on the show, by the way.
You can check him out over on Rumble.
And it's called Ungoverned on LFA TV there on Rumble.
And also all we're on X as Sean underscore Farrish, F-A-R-A-S-H.
And we appreciate you taking the time.
Sean, thank you, man.
We'll have to get together again.
Love the conversation and definitely love the Christmas carols.
Oh, well, thank you so much.
You have a Merry Christmas, a Happy New Year, and we will talk soon.
Thank you.
You got it.
Merry Christmas, Sean Farrish.
There you have it, folks.

The hoaxes revealed.
I got another piece of that I got to get to in just a moment, plus some good news.
What happens in a grocery store to hide the peak of insanity, the craziness of Christmas shopping, et cetera?
And all the cash registers go down.
Well, one grocery store, what happened may surprise you, but it just might warm your heart this holiday season.

Hannah, we've had a great show today.
Just enjoy being with you as always.
It's always an honor.
It's a pleasure.
Pleasure to be here with you and give you the truth, logic, and common sense.
And this, this is just a little taste of the latest from Democrats and the collusion with the mainstream media.
The folks at MRC put it together.
It is how you say, what does some people say?
Some people, that's the some people say hoax.
Listen to this.
Some people.
Dave, they're satisfied with the administration's answers on that September 2nd strike that some have called a war crime.
September 2nd double-tap strike.
Some say could be a war crime.
Some are calling the strike a war crime.
I mean, we have a Secretary of Defense or some who are accusing him of a war crime.
You know, that's so funny because you could say this about anything and anyone and not have to have any actual credible source about anything.
You know, some people.
Some people are using the phrase when they think the question of is this a war crime.
Some people think you're delusional.
Attack on a suspected drug boat that some are calling a war crime.
Some people think you ought to get some help for that TDS, felt so.
I'm just saying, some people think, actually, most people do.
Oh, just hilarious.
I'll put that up in my stack today.
Back with more news.
This is Glenn Beck.

Welcome back, Justin Barkley.
And today for Glenn on the Glenn Beck program and a very special Christmas Eve edition.
There's only really one left thing to do here today, and that's to share with you something very special.
The True Story of Christmas 00:09:12
The real true story of Christmas for a child will be born to us, a son will be given us, and the government will rest upon his shoulders.
His name will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Eternal Father, Prince of Peace.
There will be no end to the increase of his government or a peace on the throne of David and over his kingdom to establish it and uphold it with justice and righteousness from then on and forevermore.
The zeal of the Lord of hosts will accomplish this.
God sent the angel Gabriel to Nazareth, a village in Galilee, to a virgin named Mary.
She was engaged to be married to a man named Joseph, a descendant of King David.
Gabriel appeared to her and said, Greetings, favorite one.
The Lord is with you.
Confused and disturbed, Mary tried to think what it could mean.
Don't be frightened, Mary, the angel told her.
God has chosen to bless you.
You will become pregnant and have a son, and you are to name him Jesus.
He will be very great and be called son of the Most High.
But Mary asked the angel, how can I have a baby?
I'm a virgin.
And the angel replied, The Holy Spirit will come upon you.
The power of the Most High will overshadow you.
So the baby born to you will be holy, and he will be called the Son of God.
While Mary was still a virgin, she became pregnant by the Holy Spirit.
And Joseph, her fiancé, decided to break the engagement quietly, so as not to disgrace her publicly.
As he considered this, he fell asleep.
And the angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream.
Joseph, son of David, the angel said, don't be afraid to go ahead with your marriage to Mary.
For the child in her has been conceived by the Holy Spirit.
She'll have a son, and you are to name him Jesus.
For he will save his people from their sin.
All of this happened to fulfill the Lord's message through this prophet.
Behold, the virgin will conceive a child.
She'll give birth to a son, and he will be called Emmanuel, meaning God with us.
This prophecy from Isaiah 7.14 was given 700 years before Jesus was born.
When Joseph woke up, he did what the angel the Lord commanded him.
He brought Mary home to be his wife, but she remained a virgin until her son was born.
At that time, the Roman Emperor Augustus decreed that a census should be taken throughout all the Roman Empire.
All returned home to their hometowns to register for the census.
Because Joseph was a descendant of King David, he had to go to Bethlehem in Judea, David's ancient home.
He traveled from the village of Nazareth in Galilee and took with him Mary, his wife, who was great with child.
And while they were there, they came time for the baby to be born.
She gave birth to her first child, a son, and wrapped him in swaddling clothes and laid him in the manger.
That night there were shepherds in the field outside the village guarding their flocks of sheep.
And suddenly, an angel of the Lord appeared among them and the radiance of the Lord's glory surrounded them.
They were terribly frightened.
But the angel reassured them, Do not be afraid, he said.
I bring you good news of great joy for everyone.
The Savior, yea, the Messiah, the Lord has been born tonight in the city of David.
And this is how you'll recognize him.
You'll find him, a baby, in a manger, wrapped in swaddling clothes.
Suddenly, the angel was joined by the vast host of heaven, the armies praising God and saying, Glory to God in the highest and on earth.
Peace, goodwill to men.
The angels left, and the shepherds said to each other, Come, let us go to Bethlehem and see this wonderful thing that has happened that the Lord has told us about.
So they ran to the village and found Mary and Joseph.
And there was the baby, lying in the manger.
The shepherds told everyone what had happened and what the angel had said about the child.
All who heard this story were astonished.
The shepherds went back to the fields and flocks, glorifying and praising the Lord.
Jesus was born in the town of Bethlehem in Judea during the reign of King Herod.
And at the same time came wise men from the east to Jerusalem asking, where is the newborn king of the Jews?
We've seen a star that arose and have come to worship him.
Herod was deeply disturbed by their question, as was all of Jerusalem.
He called a meeting of the leading priests and teachers of religious law.
Where do the prophets say the Messiah will be born? He asked.
In Bethlehem, they said, for this is what a prophet wrote, O Bethlehem of Judea, you're not just a lowly village of Judah, for a ruler will come to you who will be shepherd for my people, Israel.
This prophecy, found in Micah 5 and verse 2, and 2 Samuel 5 and verse 2, were both written 700 years before Jesus Christ was ever born.
So Herod sent a message to the wise men, asking them to come see him.
At this time in the meeting, he learned the exact time when they first saw the star, and he told them to go to Bethlehem, search diligently for the child, and when you find him, come tell me that I may worship him too.
After this meeting, the wise men went on their way, and once again, the star appeared to guide them to Bethlehem.
It went ahead of them and stopped over the place where the child was.
When they saw the star, they were filled with joy.
They entered the house where the child and his mother were, and they fell down and worshipped him.
They opened their treasure chests and gave him gifts of gold, frankincense, and myrrh.
But when it came time to leave, they went another way, because God had warned them in a dream not to return to Herod.
After the wise men were gone, the angel of the Lord appeared to Joseph in a dream.
Get up, flee to Egypt with the child and his mother, the angel said.
Stay there until I tell you to return, because Herod will try to kill the child.
That very night, Joseph left for Egypt with the child and marry his mother.
They stayed there until Herod's death.
This fulfilled what the Lord had spoken to the prophet, Out of Egypt I have called my son.
Herod was furious.
When he learned that the wise men had outwitted him, he sent soldiers to kill all the baby boys in and around Bethlehem who were two years old and under, because the wise men had told him that the star had first appeared to them about two years before.
Then later, when Herod died, God's angel appeared in a dream of Joseph in Egypt.
Get up, take the child and his mother and return to Israel.
All those who wished to murder the child are dead.
So Joseph obeyed.
He arose and took the child and his mother and re-entered Israel.
When he heard, though, that Herod's son had taken over as king in Judea, he was afraid to go there.
But then Joseph was directed in a dream to go to the hills of Galilee.
On arriving, he settled in the village of Nazareth, thus fulfilling the words of the prophet.
For he should be called a Nazarene.
For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
The Gift That Keeps On Giving 00:07:35
And this is the story.
The story of Christmas.
The true story.
Merry Christmas.
Justin Barkley in for Glenn today on the Glen Beck Prob.
Back right after this.
Here's a friendly tip.
Always drink upstream for the herd.
If you know, you know.
We are only a few weeks into winter and already brutal cold, huge snowstorms, and of course power outages.
Think about this.
If the power goes out when it's really cold, do you have a way to keep yourself and your family warm?
Winter power outages can even be life-threatening.
We learned this in Texas not too long ago.
That's why so many Americans are getting a Vesta off-grid heater from MyPatriot Supply.
The best part is right now, you can get the Vesta and a bunch more preparedness gear as free gifts when you order the winter survival kit from MyPatriot Supply.
Go to mypatriotsupply.com slash Glenn, see everything that's included.
The offer is not going to last long, so go to mypatriotsupply.com slash Glenn.

Oh, I got a couple of good news pieces before we get out of here.
A couple of more that I thought you'd like to know and see on a Christmas Eve edition of the Glen Beck program.
Justin Barkley in for Glenn today.
Love hearing from you.
Thank you for the emails that the folks have sent those through.
Justin at JustinBarklay, B-A-R-C-L-A-Y dot com.
You can connect with me there, by the way, and all over social media.
I'm at Mr. Justin Barklay, B-A-R-C-L-A-Y.
But an 85-year-old widow in North Carolina, a story I thought was just absolutely incredible, had to share the Christmas spirit.
She asked a tree removal company for firewood.
She couldn't pay for it.
The owner of the company, Paul Britton, not only delivered it, but he went above and beyond.
He did a couple other things for her as well.
Listen to this.
This is Nana Abernathy.
I was going to let you know that we're going to give you this load of wood for free.
I ain't coming back for no money.
You ain't going to.
I ain't going to charge you.
I'm going to let you have it for free.
They call her Nana Abernaffy.
Thank you.
I know you said that she was having a rough time, and that's what we try to do.
We try to help people out.
And I wanted to bless you before Christmas, and we're not coming back for no money.
That's a nice Christmas present.
It's all for you.
Got to get a hug.
Yeah.
I want to talk about the true meaning right there.
You know, this is in an area that been hit pretty hard by, obviously, Hurricane Helen and the Biden administration, FEMA, just completely dropping the ball.
But many don't know because the news never told you that Trump's FEMA administration went in and gave those people all the help they could get.
I think 90% up back and running to where they were supposed to be.
But people still having issues.
You know, that's part of the recovery process.
And even having issues in any day and time, an 85-year-old widow could always use a hand.
And that's just what Paul, the owner of this company, stepped in to do.
Merry Christmas.
I hope you have a great Christmas and a great holiday, and I hope the Lord blesses you.
Okay.
Okay.
You have a good day.
He just did.
They just did.
That's right.
Thank you.
Yep.
I'll get you took care of and we'll get this dumped out right here for you.
Okay.
Thank you.
You have a great, great.
It's a beautiful load of wood right there.
By the way, didn't just stop there.
You know what else they did?
They also fixed her car.
They fixed her roof and her heating and air conditioning, all at the same time, raising $20,000 for her for Christmas.
What would you do if you were in Burleson, Texas at an HEB trying to feverishly grab everything you could for Christmas and the lanes were shut down?
You couldn't check out.
It was like a mad scene.
The folks at the grocery store decided they were going to do something that's probably unheard of these days.
All right, guys.
ATV, we love having you as our customers.
Thank you for waiting with us.
Unfortunately, the computers are not coming back up right now.
So today, everything that you have, we are going to back you up.
And we hope every one of you have a very Merry Christmas and continue to shop with us.
So thank you so much.
I don't know if you caught that, but they said everything you got in your cart right now is free.
I would have reached over and grab maybe a few candies from the aisle.
Threw them in the cart.
No, no, no.
But this is an amazing story.
And one you rarely hear things like this from a big company that says we're just going to do the right thing, or at least the manager there who I'm sure will go viral for all the right reasons in a world of the time and the day and an age where people are going viral for some of the worst these days.
These stories deserve, they deserve the spotlight.
Thank you so much.
Be very patient with us.
We're going to do our best to get you in and out, okay?
Please stay where you are.
Can you imagine?
I just can't, and especially at a time when it probably came at the best time.
I'll put these stories, the stuff we talked about today, I put everything up every day up on the stack at justinbarkley.com, but love to share those with you.
I just love being here with you every time I get a chance, no matter what day it is.
Christmas Eve, or I'll be back coming up the week of New Year's with you.
But Christmas Eve particularly, it's an honor to be with this audience.
Glenn's audience is always the best.
Some of the best and the brightest.
And Christmas Eve for me, particularly special.
It was a Christmas Eve nearly 30 years ago, today, that I began my career as a young man in high school in radio.
Just playing Christmas music.
They had to have somebody to keep the station on the air at the time.
It's before computers.
I don't know if I would have got my start if I started today, but I'm grateful for it.
It's the gift that keeps on giving.
And I'm wishing you and yours today and every day.
Merry Christmas.
God bless.
