[00:02:40] We're told the walls may be closing in. [00:02:43] There's some interesting news coming out about Sleepy Joe in the basement. [00:02:50] And the latest is actually kind of interesting. [00:02:54] The House Oversight and Judiciary Committees are investigating now they've expanded their impeachment inquiry to attempted influence, Biden's attempted influence or obstruction even of his son Hunter and the cooperation in the impeachment inquiry itself. [00:03:19] This is the latest. [00:03:20] In fact, we've got I've just sent them out so you can look at if you want to over on X at Mr. Justin Barkley. [00:03:27] Good morning, by the way. [00:03:28] I am Justin Barkley in for Glenn today on the Glenn Back program broadcasting live from the beautiful but a little chilly today, Michigan. [00:03:40] And in fact, I'm heard locally on a couple of different radio stations, 910 a.m. Super Station in Detroit, the brand new, 910 a.m. Detroit's News Talk Super Station, and the nearly 100-year-old News Radio Wood 1300 and 1069FM in West Michigan. [00:03:57] It is a pleasure to be here with you today. [00:03:59] So I've got the document sitting in front of me. [00:04:01] This is coming from the House Judiciary and the Oversight Committees. [00:04:06] They are talking about expanding their impeachment. [00:04:10] Now, I know what you're saying. [00:04:12] I know what you're thinking because I'm thinking the same too at times. [00:04:18] Okay. [00:04:19] And so they're expanding. [00:04:22] The walls are closing in. [00:04:23] You hear some saying, but yes, I get it because you're probably thinking, and so, so what? [00:04:29] What does any of that mean? [00:04:30] Is it really going to amount to anything? [00:04:32] Is it really going to go anywhere? [00:04:36] What is really going to happen here? [00:04:40] Probably not going to amount to the hill of me. [00:04:43] That's probably what you're thinking, and I get it. [00:04:49] But that is not necessarily always the case. [00:04:53] I think it's healthy to be have a bit of skepticism and exercise that. [00:05:00] But at the same time, I remain cautiously optimistic. [00:05:03] I see a little bit of movement, but, you know, this whole thing moves at a very slow pace in the timing of it. [00:05:10] The impeachment inquiry and what they're trying to line up with all the things that are happening when it comes to the election. [00:05:19] And make no mistake, there's a bit of the timing involved in this, too. [00:05:23] That's going to be a big part of this, but I get it because I understand your frustration. [00:05:31] We're all on the same boat here, folks. [00:05:35] This is Devin Nunez, by the way, over a truth. [00:05:41] He's speaking out and asked on OAN last night about this. [00:05:45] He says the wall's closing in. [00:05:47] Well, what I've said is that I just think it's highly unlikely Biden's going to be the nominee. [00:05:53] Now, you know this because you're in Washington, John, and I've, from my experience there, Tim Obama is the one that's been running the Biden White House. [00:06:02] There is no doubt about what he is saying right here. [00:06:06] There is somebody else behind the scenes. [00:06:09] There is somebody else, no doubt, pulling the strings. [00:06:13] There is somebody else that is orchestrating everything because Biden can't even orchestrate one foot in front of the other. [00:06:21] I've started calling him Joe Obama. [00:06:25] But Nuna says, you know, that has been the case so far. [00:06:30] And by the way, this is the reason why they wanted him in that position. [00:06:36] This is why the FBI sat on the laptop. [00:06:40] You remember, we were told this was fake news. [00:06:44] This was Russian collusion. [00:06:45] This was all they'll say, none of this is real. [00:06:48] This Biden laptop fact couldn't talk about it, couldn't tweet about it, couldn't even share about it in a private message on Twitter at the time. [00:06:55] And the government, no doubt, had a role. [00:06:57] And they had 50 some odd plus intelligence agency operatives, president or former that stepped out and said, no, no, no, that's not real. [00:07:05] That's Russian disinformation. [00:07:07] None of this is real. [00:07:09] And it turns out, guess what it was? [00:07:11] Just like everything else over the last few years. [00:07:14] All of it. [00:07:14] All of it real, all of it true. [00:07:15] And of course, you knew it. [00:07:16] I knew it. [00:07:17] We all knew it from the very get-go. [00:07:22] So the Biden laptop, which actually corroborates and illustrates, you know, they're very, they're big on this without evidence. [00:07:32] Well, there's a lot of evidence inside the laptop and since been discovered as well that appears to show there was some coordination and a high amount of it between Joe, Hunter, maybe even other members of the family like Uncle Jim. [00:07:51] And now we're starting to learn, Ashley Biden might get wrapped up into this too. [00:07:54] I mean, there's all kinds of people inside the family that could come down if this, all this information comes out. [00:08:01] So you see how dangerous this is. [00:08:03] But it was supposed to be sort of the dead man's switch. [00:08:07] That's the idea. [00:08:08] Supposed to be the thing that they could use, hold over his head to control him while he was in office. [00:08:17] That's why the FBI didn't really take any actual action on it. [00:08:20] They didn't really, they weren't really concerned. [00:08:22] They wanted to be able to use it, thus, to control him and have power. [00:08:30] They said they would never do that. [00:08:31] Well, okay, go back to Hoover. [00:08:35] This stuff is not. [00:08:36] Nothing I'm telling you is new. [00:08:39] Anybody with any sense of history or understanding of what this country has gone through and how we've operated over the last several you, you know this is par for the course. [00:08:54] None of this is tinfoil, hatwear and conspiracy theory that's so far-fetched and out there. [00:09:00] No, all of this is this very easy to understand, and I think more and more people, the more this goes on, are starting to wake up and understand it. [00:09:07] Now the question is, again, we go back to it. [00:09:10] Will any of this make a difference? [00:09:12] Will any of this amount to a hill of being? [00:09:15] You know this is again, 10 for the big guy. [00:09:19] This is the operation inside places like China China Ukraine, all of these different places where they were on the take, taking money to get things done inside a government, and it all flowed through Hunter and into Joe. [00:09:32] 10 all of it for big guy and, of course, the rest of the family. [00:09:37] That's how it all worked. [00:09:41] Now there are various folks on the left that are never going to wake up to this. [00:09:45] You and I get that. [00:09:46] We understand it, but Nunez says nevertheless, the walls are closing in. [00:09:51] Well, what? [00:09:51] What i've said is that I just think it's highly unlikely Biden's going to be the nominee. [00:09:56] Now, you know this because you're in Washington John, and I and i've from my experience there I agree, team Obama is the one that's been running the Biden White House. [00:10:06] I agree, and i've been saying for quite some time anybody with any sort of common sense or a couple of brain cells firing that you can look at Biden. [00:10:14] You say it's popularity rating Hymen is in the basement with the rest of his campaign. [00:10:22] Uh, I mean, the guy, the only person less popular than Joe Biden is Kamala Harris. [00:10:31] So they've got problems because the machine is what is what runs all of this, the media and everything else, all the talking heads and uh, you got to have somebody steering the ship behind the scenes right, but you've, you've got to have something to work with a pulse or a heartbeat. [00:10:49] By the way, somebody with less of a record or history here um, somebody less damaged as, so to speak, less negatives in the pr world let's just put it that way, less negative impressions uh, would be much better off, because what the American people want is uh, whether you like this or not, something you probably agree with us. [00:11:13] If you really examine it down to the core, you would say that what the American people want is something completely different. [00:11:20] They want somebody who's going to be a fresh face on the left and the right diamond. [00:11:30] I I I am not saying but, by the way, I love all of the things that president Trump has done for us. [00:11:38] I love president Trump. [00:11:39] I'm not making any case against him. [00:11:40] I'm just telling you what the if you look at. [00:11:42] You went and talked to the average You know, guy or guy on the street, and you ask them what they're looking for. [00:11:51] They just want something different. [00:11:52] Now, some of them believe Trump is that different still and can make that happen. [00:11:58] But there's some that this mainstream media machine has had all these years, right? [00:12:06] Since 2015 or so, to really start grinding him up and chewing him into a pulp. [00:12:12] And look, it's a Teflon Don. [00:12:13] He's lasted this long. [00:12:14] And I think he probably makes it through all this, too. [00:12:17] But that's a whole nother conversation, by the way, with the Supreme Court and the ballot issue and all of that. [00:12:23] Well, we'll talk more about that later. [00:12:25] But what the American people want is they want a fresh face on both sides. [00:12:30] They want all of this noise, all of this chaos, all of the insanity that we've been going through the last several years. [00:12:41] They just want it all to go away. [00:12:43] And the bad news is it's not going to. [00:12:48] No matter what you do, no matter whose fresh face you put in there. [00:12:53] And there are different groups of people that weigh in and fall in in different ways here. [00:12:57] And I'll explain who they are because they're not all never Trumpers, the people who say, I don't want Trump, I want somebody different. [00:13:02] There's some people that vote for Trump and would still vote for him again. [00:13:05] They voted in the past, but they just see things a little differently. [00:13:10] And I'll explain that coming up here in a little bit as well. [00:13:12] But Devin Nunez has an interesting theory on what's happening behind the scenes and how the walls are closing in. [00:13:22] I want to get more to this. [00:13:25] I got more from this clip from OAM and the interview he did the other day. [00:13:29] We'll do that coming up. [00:13:30] Got to take a quick break here. [00:13:31] It's Justin Barkley today filling in for Glenn on the Glenn Beck program. [00:14:48] So, Devin Nunez is out there saying, look, Obama's been running. === Obama Pulling Strings Behind Scenes (05:48) === [00:14:52] Let's be honest here. [00:14:54] Obama's been running things behind the scenes the last few years. [00:14:58] Biden in his basement with the earpiece on or whatever it is. [00:15:01] He's behind the scenes pulling the strings. [00:15:03] This is the third term he always wanted. [00:15:06] He's on record. [00:15:07] He's on tape saying, if I could be down in the basement with an earpiece on telling people what to say, then I will do a third term. [00:15:17] Well, it appears it's what he's got. [00:15:20] And whether he's really in the basement with an earpiece and all this other stuff and a microphone, you know, shouting things into the who knows? [00:15:28] But the truth is, there are enough of these Obama holdouts, these folks from his previous administration that are in place that are really running the day-to-day in the White House. [00:15:39] I've said it. [00:15:40] I mean, they're running the day-to-day. [00:15:41] Biden himself couldn't run if he wanted. [00:15:43] He's falling off his bike. [00:15:44] He could barely walk. [00:15:45] This, he's having to use the short steps on the Air Force One. [00:15:49] I mean, look, I'm not, I don't take any pleasure to watch this man's demise. [00:15:54] He is aging, and this is just how these things work. [00:15:58] And unfortunately, that job can age you. [00:16:03] We've seen it. [00:16:04] The only person I've ever seen who never really did the real damage to a guy came out looking better than he did when he went in was Trump. [00:16:13] Now, that's just wild to say, but it's kind of reality. [00:16:17] That was really much of any difference at all. [00:16:19] And if anybody could have broken anybody, it would have been him, right? [00:16:22] And yet it didn't. [00:16:24] So Devin Nunez is out there talking about how the walls are closing in. [00:16:30] He says Obama was the one kind of pulling the strings behind the scenes. [00:16:34] And now there's a bit of a, and I think it's probably Jill who's responsible for this. [00:16:40] He said, now there's a little bit of a apprehension to follow through with what the next move is, which is just step aside, Joe. [00:16:50] All you have to do is just gracefully step aside and say you've got some health issue or, you know, you want to spend time with the family or whatever it might be. [00:17:02] We've got our plan B team, whether it's Gruesome Gavin Newsom, the governor of the People's Republic of Comifornia, yes, the American psycho, whether it's him out on the West or maybe closer to home where I'm at in Michigan, the Wolverine Queen, Gretchen Wimmer, whoever it is, it doesn't really matter. [00:17:20] That fresh face, as I mentioned earlier, they want to move this guy out of the way and with his little pomp and circumstance and fanfare, just move somebody new in. [00:17:33] That's the goal. [00:17:33] That's the idea. [00:17:36] But as we mentioned, now the wall's closing in. [00:17:38] Devin Nunez says the House Oversight and the House Judiciary Committee is now investigating whether Biden himself attempted to influence or obstruct his son, Hunter's cooperation with the impeachment inquiry. [00:17:49] Remember where he came? [00:17:50] Remember he came for that photo op the other day? [00:17:54] He stood in front of Congress. [00:17:55] He didn't go inside to have the conversation, though, to be deposed, but he stood outside and made a statement like a circus with the cameras. [00:18:04] And then he left. [00:18:05] And though they're saying, well, maybe Joe's been involved in this too, and they're digging deeper into it. [00:18:10] That's why Nunez says the wall's closing in. [00:18:12] And I think that the giveaway here is the night before Biden runs, Susan Rice, who's the domestic policy advisor, one of Obama's top lieutenants, she was running the White House. [00:18:22] She exits stage left in the middle of the night. [00:18:25] She's gone. [00:18:26] So that tells me that clearly she was not on board for another Biden administration. [00:18:32] I think what they were trying to do, cut a deal for the kid with that phony gun charge that they tried to do in Delaware, go to Biden and say, look, we got your kid off. [00:18:40] It's time for you to get the hell out. [00:18:42] He didn't. [00:18:42] And I think that's the problem here. [00:18:44] Obama can't control Biden and Biden's wife because at the end of the day, Biden controls that important title, the presidency. [00:18:52] And I think it's Jill. [00:18:54] If you look at all of the body language, you look at the pictures, but he just loves it. [00:18:58] Remember, Dr. Jill, she's a doctor after all. [00:19:04] Dr. Joe Biden. [00:19:06] I mean, she is running things in the White House. [00:19:13] You don't get this kind of power out of nowhere. [00:19:15] Everything they had to do, all the sacrificing they had to make. [00:19:18] She's not just going to let it go. [00:19:21] And she's not just going to let it just slip from her fingers just like that. [00:19:25] And of course, because Obama said so? [00:19:28] No, Oh, well. [00:19:30] She's going to hold on, and she's got a puppet who's, you know, half out of it anyway. [00:19:39] They're probably drugging him up to go out and make speeches. [00:19:43] And who knows what the cocktails they've got concocted to get him out there and make him sort of appear loose. [00:19:49] And look how bad he does appear when they got him out there. [00:19:52] It's bad news. [00:19:53] He's got a very small circle within the White House, and the walls are closing in around the Biden family. [00:20:00] This is going to be interesting to see. [00:20:02] Now, again, I'm going to come back to this. [00:20:05] I don't know. [00:20:08] Because I know you're probably going to say, is that sure? [00:20:10] The walls are closing in. [00:20:12] But I think they've got more of a threat from inside the Democrat Party. [00:20:16] And the infighting, because they're all struggling for power right now, we just sort of assume that this stuff takes place. [00:20:25] It's all figured out and somebody behind the shadowy figures behind the scenes. [00:20:29] But you notice Hillary Clinton is out there now. [00:20:33] Hillary Clinton is out there making speeches. [00:20:35] She's getting hassled at all these appearances. [00:20:38] She's getting heckled by protesters. === Hillary Clinton Tests The Waters (02:39) === [00:20:40] She doesn't need that. [00:20:44] She can just ride off into the sunset too. [00:20:46] But you know what Hillary's doing? [00:20:48] She's out there testing the waters, dipping her gnarled toe in to figure out whether or not it's warm enough for her. [00:20:56] She's flying the Chinese test spy balloons all over, trying to figure out whether or not she's got a chance and maybe she can bust through that glass ceiling again. [00:21:07] There's nothing more she'd like than a rematch. [00:21:09] That's just ego. [00:21:10] That's just all that is. [00:21:12] That's just her thirst for power. [00:21:17] And I'm just telling you, there's a lot, a few different people in this race right now, in this running, trying to make these things happen. [00:21:24] Who knows what happens behind the scenes? [00:21:26] I get it. [00:21:26] I'm just as frustrated with you. [00:21:28] I'd like to see some real accountability. [00:21:30] We'll talk about some of that, maybe how some of those things could shake out, plus Trump at the Supreme Court more. [00:21:35] On the way, Justin Barkley in for Glenn today on the Glenn Beck program. [00:21:39] Back after this. [00:21:42] The Glenn Beck program. [00:23:56] We did the Black Swan events and, by the way you know, I I did some of these yesterday, I think i'll. [00:24:02] I think i'll open up the phone lines a little bit later on today too, and i'd love to hear from you again uh, predictions for 2024. [00:24:08] I was just going to do this on friday originally, but ever since the talk of the Black Swan event yesterday, I thought, you know, let me, let me let's, let's try this again today, and I just want to hear from you, what do you think is coming in 2024? [00:24:29] Why do I, why do I think this is so important? [00:24:31] Well, you know you, you tend to have your ear to the ground, you know your finger on the pulse, you did. [00:24:39] The folks who listen to this program, um, they are more plugged in to anything that i've ever ever witnessed. [00:24:56] I mean, they are informed, they are well read they, they have their finger on the pulp like nobody else, because you, you just you're rooted in common sense and truth, and I think that's why I enjoy doing this program more than than any than any other, because there's something magic that happens. [00:25:24] Ah, and i'm not just blowing smoke, I mean it, I really do. [00:25:27] Um, it's an honor to be here, so that's why I thought well, let's open the lines and hear from you. [00:25:32] What do you think is coming in 2024? [00:25:35] Now, we had some good ones yesterday. [00:25:38] We had some really good ones yesterday, in fact. [00:25:40] One of those was, they didn't think that Biden was gonna make it. [00:25:45] You just heard Devin Nunez explain that he believes the walls are closing in on Biden. [00:25:53] The other was, he thinks Trump. [00:25:54] The guy said we think Trump was going to be taken out. [00:25:57] Now, whether that's legally or through some other means, God forbid, this is just what he thought was coming. [00:26:05] Now, part of that effort has been the lawfare that has been ongoing now. [00:26:11] And yesterday we got the news that Michigan Supreme Court was not going to hear the appeal by this crazy left-wing activist who wanted to get Trump off the ballot, the primary ballot, here in Michigan. [00:26:30] Now, the Supreme Court, and this is good to know, so you get some context here in Michigan. [00:26:36] I just recently swung Democrat left-leaning. [00:26:43] Okay, so they have a 4-3 Democrat majority of the Michigan Supreme Court. [00:26:50] And yet, this ruling yesterday ruled 6-1, 6-1 to keep Trump on the ballot. [00:27:02] In other words, they said, we're not going to weigh in on this right now. [00:27:06] They're begging for the Supreme Court essentially really to weigh in and make their thoughts known on this whole thing. [00:27:19] Now, Mark Brewer, he is one of the folks leading the charge on all this. [00:27:27] He is a former head of the Democratic Party here in Michigan, former Democrat Party chair. [00:27:40] Here's what he said on X or Twitter: a very disappointing but extremely narrow decision allowing Trump to be on the primary ballot, even though he's an ineligible insurrectionist. [00:27:59] These people. [00:28:01] Somebody made a really good point to me the other day and sent me a message to say, how could Trump be guilty of insurrection, insurrection against the government? [00:28:12] He was the government when all this was going on. [00:28:14] I thought, yo, that's a solid point. [00:28:18] How can you be an insurrectionist against the government when you were anyway? [00:28:27] Mark Brewer going on to say, if he is the GOP nominee, we will challenge his appearance on the general election ballot. [00:28:36] So they're done with this. [00:28:39] And the folks in the Michigan Supreme Court, they've gone on to say that this narrow ruling, so to speak, only applies to the primary. [00:28:51] So you see, if you get this, you understand what is happening here. [00:28:58] This is all about leaving the door open. [00:29:03] They want him in the primary. [00:29:06] And Democrats, I would say those folks like Brewer and some of the other people that are sort of high up, see, they see a world where Biden steps down and Whitmer here from Michigan. [00:29:20] Why do you think they move the primary up for the Democrats in Michigan? [00:29:26] See, they're all jacking for power right now, but they see a world where one of their guys gets in and now they've got access to all that. [00:29:35] That's what this is all about. [00:29:37] Power, control. [00:29:38] That's what it's all about for them. [00:29:43] So that's the key here. [00:29:46] And Colorado and the Mission, or the Colorado GOP have now asked, because of obviously Supreme Court there has said that Trump can't be on the ballot unless the Supreme Court of the United States weighs in. [00:30:02] And now the Republicans in Colorado have said, please, you've got to hear this case, and I believe they will. [00:30:10] I just don't know what's going to come of it. [00:30:14] Colorado Republican Party asking the U.S. Supreme Court to overturn the ruling that's set to boot President Trump off the state's 2024 ballot by the Colorado Supreme Court. [00:30:24] The filing Wednesday came hours after the Michigan Supreme Court rejected a similar 14th Amendment lawsuit, keeping Trump on the ballot there. [00:30:31] You've got to understand that no matter what happens. [00:30:36] And this is from CNN, by the way. [00:30:37] They say, the dueling outcomes further raise the stakes for the Colorado appeal to the U.S. Supreme Court, which is uniquely positioned to provide nationwide guidance on the novel constitutional matter. [00:30:48] They don't, I'm sure they'd like to see him booted, right? [00:30:52] They'd like to see this all be taken off all these ballots and he couldn't run. [00:30:56] And that'd be great. [00:30:57] And sure, there'd be a bit of them that would be very excited about that. [00:31:01] But at the end of the day, you know, it really doesn't matter whether he's booted or not because this is further meant to muddy the waters, damage his credibility. [00:31:12] And what it actually accomplishes is twofold. [00:31:16] It solidifies and unites the base around Trump in the primary and then muddies the waters for the folks who they believe would be making the decision in the general. [00:31:29] Those would be like independents. [00:31:30] Those would be all your suburban soccer moms. [00:31:33] I just don't know. [00:31:34] I don't like the way he talks. [00:31:37] Well, do you like four or five dollar gallon gas, Missy? [00:31:44] What do you care more about? [00:31:45] Do you like the fact that our country's being overrun at the southern border? [00:31:50] We got people coming in terrorists. [00:31:52] We don't know what's going on. [00:31:53] Did you like the fact that we've got crime at all time levels we've never seen the kind of crime? [00:31:59] And we're just taking these criminals and we're not locking them, barely bringing them in for maybe a coke and a smile, and then sending them right out the revolving door there at the jail, right back out on the street. [00:32:11] Matter of fact, one of the stories, this guy, this crazy guy who attacked two teenage girls, New York City at Grand Central Station. [00:32:18] I had the story. [00:32:19] We'll do this later, but boy, the latest of what's come out about him, who he was and his record. [00:32:26] Oh my gosh, there's no way this guy should have been out on the street. [00:32:31] It's story after story of these people, by the way. [00:32:34] These are the Soros DAs that let these people out. [00:32:36] This is the planned chaos. [00:32:39] This is what they want, chaos at all levels, because then they can bring you a solution. [00:32:45] See, the chaos, the reason the case, and don't make a mistake. [00:32:49] They're blaming all of this on, of course, Trump and anything they want to. [00:32:53] I got a story today coming up next hour. [00:32:58] This is going to be great. [00:32:59] We're going to talk with an expert in the field. [00:33:02] He's written multiple books on the climate cult, what their real aim is, and why we should be concerned. [00:33:09] But AOC is out there blaming the border invasion on climate right now. [00:33:13] That is, you see, they just figure out a way to make anything fly and they lie, lie, and deny. [00:33:20] That's their strategy from the very beginning, all the way down to the core of it. [00:33:24] So that is, they don't care. [00:33:27] They just don't care about any of this. [00:33:31] They'll blame everything on Trump. [00:33:33] And that's how Trump derangement syndrome works. [00:33:37] So again, you've got these people that are pushing that Trump would maybe make it on the ballot for the primary and then win become the nominee. [00:33:45] And then their strategy would be that they can damage him and even damage him further with convictions in these sham. [00:33:54] There's really no way other to put this in. [00:33:57] Banana Republic style injustice. [00:34:01] That's what it is. [00:34:02] It's all of it's all of it's just a sham. [00:34:06] There's nothing just about anything. [00:34:08] It's a banana report full on. [00:34:10] Let me hear you say it. [00:34:13] Bananas. [00:34:13] E-A-N-A-N-A-S. [00:34:15] It's bananas. [00:34:16] That's what we're talking about here. [00:34:20] But it doesn't matter. [00:34:21] Do you see? [00:34:21] You see, the law doesn't matter anymore. [00:34:26] I don't think it's the Supreme Court even matters. [00:34:29] Of course, we're going to find out how they weigh in on this and then what the outcome of it is. [00:34:36] See, then they can slide. [00:34:38] The idea is you slide Biden out And you slide, and it's it's not hard to do this because of the just the oil content in his hair, but you slide a gruesome Gavin Newsom right on in. [00:34:55] You see how easy that is. [00:34:57] And now you've got a fresh face versus the damage that the mainstream media thinks they believe they've been able to do and the machine, the damage they've been able to do against the Trump. [00:35:07] You check the polling against some of these people and see what that looks like. [00:35:11] That's their idea. [00:35:13] Now, I'm not saying that they'll be successful. [00:35:17] I'm just saying that that is part of what this is all about, part of what is at stake. [00:35:21] In fact, we'll dig into more of it coming up in just a moment. [00:35:24] We got to take a break here. [00:35:25] And if you'd like to weigh in, love to hear from you today. [00:35:29] If you want to tell me what you think is coming next in 2024, 888-727-BEC, 888-727-BECK. [00:35:36] That could be from politics to the economy to spirit. [00:35:40] It doesn't matter. [00:35:41] It could be anything. [00:35:42] We had one guy talk about UFOs yesterday. [00:35:45] I thought I'd back with Art Bell and George Norrie for a second. [00:35:48] I love it. [00:35:49] I love it. [00:35:50] I don't, that's the hard thing. [00:35:52] When you're looking at what's coming in the days ahead, all bets are off. [00:35:55] I don't know that you can, anybody tells you they can 100% call it. [00:35:59] I think you got a question. [00:36:00] I don't know that you can, but I'd love to hear from you today. [00:36:03] Triple 8-727-BEC, back after this, Justin Barkley today. [00:36:06] And for Glenn Beck on the Glenn Beck program. [00:36:11] The Glenn Beck Program. [00:36:13] Home is so much more than the place you live. [00:36:28] It's an investment tool as well. [00:36:30] And you can put that tool to use and access the equity that you have as cash to pay off those high interest credit cards. [00:36:37] Did you know the average credit card rate now is hovering around 25%? [00:36:40] Some people are paying in 30-plus every single month. [00:36:43] I mean, it's insane. [00:36:44] If you're not paying that debt off in full every month, those fees are adding up and you just can't let that happen, which is why you need to look at your spending, your financing, your debt. [00:36:54] Better yet, let American Financing do that for you. [00:36:56] This is a family-owned mortgage lender. [00:36:58] They're not a bank. [00:36:59] You're important to them. [00:37:00] There's no pressure, no upfront or hidden fees. [00:37:02] If you call them today, you might be able to close in as fast as 10 days and even delay two mortgage payments. [00:37:08] They're saving homeowners just like you an average of $826 a month. [00:37:12] That could be life-changing. [00:37:13] So call today, 800-906-2440, 800-906-2440. [00:37:18] AmericanFinancing.net. [00:37:20] American Financing, NMLS, 1-8-2-3-3-4. [00:37:22] www.nmlsconsumeraccess.org. [00:37:26] I got to clear some of this up. [00:37:36] So let me do some of that. [00:37:38] I want to get your phone calls, too. [00:37:40] 888-727-BEC. [00:37:42] That's 888-727-BECK. [00:37:45] Barklay in for Beck today on the Glenn Beck program. [00:37:49] Okay, so here's what I mean. === Analyzing Republican Sentiment (03:28) === [00:37:50] If you look at what is happening out there, there's a lot of sentiment that needs to be kind of walked through. [00:37:58] The way I see it, and I tend to sit back, I kind of hang out by the wall and watch things happening. [00:38:07] And this is what I see. [00:38:08] I see several groups in the in the in the right or the Republican Party right now. [00:38:18] I see a group of people who are all in for Trump. [00:38:21] Doesn't matter what he does. [00:38:23] And again, like he said, it shoots somebody in the middle of the road. [00:38:26] They're all in. [00:38:29] Those people are going to stick with him. [00:38:31] These are the heart of Magum. [00:38:34] They don't care. [00:38:38] They've seen what he can do. [00:38:41] They've seen what he's done and they know that he can do it again. [00:38:43] They are all in. [00:38:46] There is no amount of lawsuit or criminal charge. [00:38:56] There's nothing that's going to sway him or sway them from the base, from Trump. [00:39:02] Then you have another group of people. [00:39:04] These are people that voted for Trump. [00:39:07] They like Trump, yet they see the damage the mainstream media, the Democrat machine, has been able to inflict on him. [00:39:17] And they know the stakes are high at this next election. [00:39:20] Now, I know we say that all the time, but these people are serious. [00:39:24] They know the stakes are higher than ever before. [00:39:27] And they are saying, strictly for strategic reasons, maybe some of them have a bit of a never-Trumper and they've soured on him in some ways, right? [00:39:36] Policies or whatever. [00:39:39] COVID might be one of those things. [00:39:41] But they are saying, we've got to make a change. [00:39:43] We've got to get somebody in there who's electable. [00:39:45] That's what they'll say. [00:39:46] This is electability. [00:39:48] Now, the other side is never Trumpers. [00:39:51] And these folks, these are the varying degrees, at least the way I see it. [00:39:55] These folks never going to, maybe never voted for him again. [00:39:57] Maybe they voted for him once, but they would never vote for him again. [00:40:01] And they are all in. [00:40:03] And those are the three groups that I see, at least on the right. [00:40:09] Now, I'm going to get to your calls. [00:40:11] I promised I would do that. [00:40:12] We're going to open the phone lines, Tompa Next Hour. [00:40:14] You want to join us? [00:40:15] You can. [00:40:16] 888 727BECK. [00:40:20] 888-727-BEC. [00:40:22] Grab your phone calls coming up next. [00:40:28] The Glenn Beck Program. [00:41:00] You gotta stand together if the current survives. [00:41:12] It's a new day of time to rise. === Why Climate Drives Migration (02:34) === [00:41:18] What you are about to hear is the fusion of entertainment and enlightenment. [00:41:24] This is the Glenn Back Program. [00:41:29] Massive amounts of migrants have into this caravan, folks entering the country illegally. [00:41:38] AOC says she knows why. [00:41:40] It's the climate. [00:41:44] It's the weather. [00:41:44] That's what's sending people there. [00:41:46] It's the weather. [00:41:48] The weather's better here, apparently, in that heights. [00:41:52] And they're coming from all over, like places like China. [00:41:56] The truth behind the climate cultist, we'll get into that story and the guy that's written a book on it all. [00:42:03] In fact, warn you of what's coming next. [00:42:05] Plus, I want to hear from you. [00:42:08] What is coming next in 2024? [00:42:10] What do you see on the horizon? [00:42:11] Grab your calls after this on the Glenn Beck Program. [00:43:44] And I know that you have your ear to the ground. [00:43:48] You're watching, you're listening to the things that are happening, and that you're getting prepared. === Vulnerable Infrastructure and Black Swans (08:58) === [00:43:53] Yesterday, we had the story about the Black Swan event. [00:43:57] This was CBS Catherine Harridge. [00:44:01] She was over on DeFace the Nation on Sunday, and she brought it up. [00:44:05] She says, I just get this weird feeling. [00:44:08] Maybe you feel the same way these days. [00:44:09] Maybe you're feeling a little off. [00:44:12] She says that I have a feeling that there's a black swan event coming this year. [00:44:17] She said that 2024 may be the year of the black swan event. [00:44:22] Well, mine's a little dark. [00:44:23] I just feel a lot of concern that 2024 may be the year of a black swan event. [00:44:28] This is a national security event with high impact that's very hard to predict. [00:44:33] There are a number of concerns that I have that factor into that. [00:44:37] And not only this sort of enduring heightened threat level that we're facing, the wars in Israel, also Ukraine. [00:44:45] And we're so divided in this country in ways that we haven't seen before. [00:44:49] And I think that just creates fertile ground for our adversaries like North Korea, China, and Iran. [00:44:54] And that's what concerns me most. [00:44:57] He's right about that. [00:44:58] There's never been, I think, a more vulnerable time in the nation's history. [00:45:06] From all the border being open, and in fact, that story, we get more, that the caravan has had this massive caravan headed this way. [00:45:12] Border wide open, all the way down to the other major threats that we face on several different fronts throughout the world. [00:45:23] We've got a guy who's running apparently his finger on the trigger, the nuke, got the codes and everything, then doesn't even barely know his own name. [00:45:32] I mean, this is all of these things, very concerning crime. [00:45:38] You name it, the economy just hanging by a thread. [00:45:43] And so she said, I think this might, now, who knows what that black swan event might be? [00:45:47] That's why I thought yesterday, we thought originally I planned on doing these three days for Glenn. [00:45:52] I thought Friday would be a good day to talk to people and ask you what your predictions might be for the coming year. [00:46:02] It went so well yesterday, I thought, you know, let me continue to open the films. [00:46:05] We'll do it again today as well. [00:46:08] So I want to hear from you. [00:46:09] 888-727-BEC, 888-727-B E-C-K. [00:46:15] Let me know what you see coming in 2024. [00:46:23] Okay. [00:46:25] Let me go to Lee. [00:46:26] Is it Lee or Leah in Virginia? [00:46:31] Hello. [00:46:32] How are you? [00:46:33] Good. [00:46:33] You're on the Glenbeck program. [00:46:37] Okay, so the question about what do I see happening? [00:46:41] Well, right here in the Tidewater area on the election year, they are shutting down all our bridges or not shutting them down, but working on all our bridges and our tunnels all at the same time. [00:46:56] And during 9-11, we had terrorists checking out our bridges and tunnels, but nothing happened at that point to our bridges and tunnels. [00:47:06] And we all know how some of the terrorists will sit for years. [00:47:11] And, you know, we got our Navy around here. [00:47:14] It's almost like there will be another Pearl Harbor happening around here. [00:47:18] It's just, I just feel like that that's going to be happening in this area. [00:47:27] So let me ask you, do you think it's specifically bridge related? [00:47:32] Bridge tunnels, they're working on all of them at the same time. [00:47:37] It's really, really strange. [00:47:42] Like they're having to shut down systematically so that, and people are like waiting to cross the bridges, you know, getting caught up at the bridges. [00:47:54] And that's happening as of right now. [00:47:58] And anyway, it just is kind of a strange thing for, you know, they had all these years to work on these bridges and tunnels. [00:48:06] Why this year? [00:48:07] How come? [00:48:09] Yeah, great, great question. [00:48:10] Liam, thank you very much. [00:48:11] I appreciate that phone call. [00:48:12] We'll mark that one down. [00:48:14] God forbid something does along those lines. [00:48:17] But I know we're vulnerable. [00:48:18] I know we got 170, almost 200 on the terrorist watch list coming across the border that have been caught. [00:48:25] Those are the ones we know of. [00:48:26] So these are vulnerable points. [00:48:28] These are issues. [00:48:29] I think I'm not to discredit what you're saying, but I think there's a lot of construction and there is a lot of infrastructure upgrading happening right now. [00:48:40] There's a couple of different reasons for that. [00:48:42] That's part of all the money that they've printed Biden is out spending and throwing around. [00:48:48] I thought it's funny. [00:48:49] During COVID here in Michigan, they didn't hardly do any. [00:48:53] They already did no work whatsoever on bridges or roads. [00:48:59] And I mean, we've had some of the worst roads here. [00:49:01] They could have done it all when nobody was on the road. [00:49:04] Yet that you wait till election year, and that's probably what you're seeing too, Leah. [00:49:07] Well, we're taking care of business this election year. [00:49:10] You know, they're making your tax dollars work for you. [00:49:14] That might be part of what you're seeing, too. [00:49:18] But who knows? [00:49:20] Who knows? [00:49:21] Randall in Kentucky is up next. [00:49:23] What do you see coming in 2024? [00:49:26] What is your prediction? [00:49:28] 888 727BECK. [00:49:30] Randall, how are you? [00:49:32] Yeah, good morning. [00:49:33] This is Randall. [00:49:35] I was wanting to talk about the devaluation of the dollar. [00:49:39] You know, I know several families in my church and around my community, and including myself, where I live in Kentucky, it's a lower cost of living. [00:49:51] But me and my wife together, we make over $100,000 a year, but we're making more money than we ever had in our lifetime. [00:50:02] And it's just becoming more harder to keep up. [00:50:06] And I don't understand how people with a regular job is maintained. [00:50:12] You know, this is a very good point. [00:50:16] Your money is worth less than ever before. [00:50:20] And a lot of that has to do of that's currency of Bidenflation and all the money printing that's going on. [00:50:27] But Randall, you're not the only one. [00:50:28] I've heard so many people talk about this, specifically people who are living paycheck to paycheck to making six figures. [00:50:34] And even in a place like, I'm assuming where you're at, what part of Kentucky are you in? [00:50:39] They're south of Lexington, you know, like South Central, which is, you know, it's a really low cost of living. [00:50:47] You know, and I've seen an article just like yesterday or the day before on The Blaze about Russia and Iran officially addition the U.S. dollar to trade between, I guess, one another. [00:50:59] And that was something I was like, well, I mean, there's just another, you know, they just see, you just see a continuation of our dollar being devaluated. [00:51:10] And I mean, you, you know, you don't see anybody in D.C. trying to make moves to prevent it anymore. [00:51:20] I mean, I didn't vote for Trump his first term. [00:51:26] And I did his second term because, you know, I've seen he did a good job. [00:51:31] And that's something that, you know, I'm not always a die-hard Republican. [00:51:37] I'll vote for the better man. [00:51:39] And I don't see how anybody really at this point could be, you know, supporting the other side. [00:51:45] I have a father-in-law that's like, you know, a die-hard Democrat. [00:51:49] And, you know, I tell him all the time, I'm always trying to red pill him. [00:51:54] You know, I'm trying to, you know, like, hey, we'll get an understanding like, you know, where he's wired, you know, to think that they're doing a better job. [00:52:05] But I don't know if that's where like the boomer generation, because I guess I would be a millennial. [00:52:10] I'm in my late 30s. [00:52:13] So, you know, I'm trying to understand where, you know, he's wired different to where he thinks like the Democrats are doing a good job. [00:52:24] You know, it's interesting to hear. [00:52:26] I've got some family members that are in the same boat. [00:52:30] And it's hard to, when you start talking about Democrat versus Republican, people tend to get a little more like defensive. [00:52:39] But if you just talk simple gas, they're like, how do you like that gas? [00:52:43] $4 a gallon or whatever it might be. [00:52:46] Now, the gas is going down right now. [00:52:48] You know why? [00:52:49] Because they're producing more than they ever have. [00:52:50] It's also an election year. === Simple Gas Prices Over Politics (02:59) === [00:52:51] I'm sure that's just a coincidence. [00:52:54] But these are the things, the kitchen table issues. [00:52:57] Now, some of the folks who are, you know, like you just said, diehard. [00:53:01] Some of these folks that are fully embedded, entrenched in the cult, they're not going to move and they don't care. [00:53:07] Well, Biden's done a good job. [00:53:09] But, you know, gosh, I tell you what, if Trump was in there, it'd be a lot worse. [00:53:14] That's how they feel on things. [00:53:15] So you got to keep having the conversations. [00:53:18] But Randall, I think you're right. [00:53:20] We are going to this idea in the economy, particularly the dollar being worth less, the attack on the dollar, BRICS nations. [00:53:28] This is Brazil, Russia, India, China, Saudi Arabia, and more and more. [00:53:33] They're adding more and more every year to this conglomeration of folks who want to start trading oil with different currency and get rid of the U.S. dollar. [00:53:41] The attack is on. [00:53:42] And I don't know that lawmakers are paying close enough attention to it. [00:53:47] I know you are. [00:53:48] And I'm sure Glenn will continue to talk about it into the new year. [00:53:51] Want to hear from you too. [00:53:52] You can talk about anything that you've got, any subject that you think 2024 is going to be big on the radar. [00:54:00] These are predictions. [00:54:01] These are what you see. [00:54:02] Get out the crystal ball, the Magic Again Ball, whatever, right? [00:54:05] Just pull that thing out and tell me what you see coming. [00:54:09] I want to hear from you. [00:54:10] Give you a chance to sound off. [00:54:11] We'll do this again tomorrow, too, if you can't make it to today. [00:54:13] But 888-727 back. [00:55:49] Full speed ahead. === Glenn Beck on Martial Law (08:10) === [00:55:51] For me, I want to hear the predictions. [00:55:53] I want to hear from the people. [00:55:54] 888-727B, 888-727BECK, loaded up and ready to talk in Florida. [00:56:03] Don is hanging on the line. [00:56:05] Don, you're in the Glenbank program. [00:56:08] Hey, Justin, thank you for taking the call. [00:56:11] Merry Christmas. [00:56:12] Great term to use. [00:56:13] And I hope you have a happy new year as well. [00:56:16] Absolutely. [00:56:16] You know, Justin, predicting what's going to come is a matter of probabilities. [00:56:23] You know, what's going toward X, what's going toward Y, what's going toward Z. [00:56:28] But, you know, the absolute worst thing that could happen would be if Biden is re-elected or a Democrat gets into office. [00:56:38] I mean, everything else besides that would get obviously much worse. [00:56:45] You know, with the amount of monies we're paying every day for eggs and gas and whatnot. [00:56:57] But if we don't stop the horde, you know, another thing that could very easily happen, even short of that, even before the election, is, you know, of course, we got this thing with all the problems that Mr. Trump is seeing. [00:57:12] But if the horde coming across our southern border is not somehow curtailed, we could easily run into martial law for any number of reasons. [00:57:23] For environmental reasons, I mean, they could be poisoning our waters. [00:57:28] They could be blowing up our electrical plants. [00:57:31] They could be poisoning our food. [00:57:34] And it goes on. [00:57:37] We could have a nuclear war somewhere, you know, brought on by these idiots and their lousy foreign relations. [00:57:47] They're laughing at Biden. [00:57:49] They're laughing at us Americans, and it's really sad. [00:57:52] So there's, I mean, the list goes on and on. [00:58:00] Because I feel the same frustrations and I feel the same Sense of anxiety at times over these things, if I think about all of them. [00:58:12] And I know it's tough because you're looking at all the possibilities and they are endless. [00:58:18] Is there anything you see for sure happening next year? [00:58:23] You know, my fear, the immigration issue, inflation is bad, yeah, but we could almost live with inflation, but you can't live with a population that hates you. [00:58:40] And martial law is, I think, you know, like I said, short of Biden getting re-elected, which, oh, my God, you know, I'd rather hit myself in the head with a brick. [00:58:56] But martial law is, you know, they've already done it with COVID. [00:59:00] I mean, they've already proven they can put us all at home and you're going to like it whether you want it or not. [00:59:08] And that's, you know, for so many reasons, who's going to feed all these people? [00:59:16] What are these people going to do when they get hungry and their money runs out when Biden's bucks run out? [00:59:24] Yeah. [00:59:26] Hey, Don. [00:59:28] I think we lost him. [00:59:30] Don, I appreciate the phone call. [00:59:31] Thank you so much. [00:59:36] Your frustration, your feeling, your anxiety is you're not alone on those things. [00:59:42] You're not alone. [00:59:44] You know, it just occurred to me, too, as I'm taking your phone call. [00:59:47] Does anybody have any good, because we started talking about the Black Swan event, does anybody have any good news or predictions? [00:59:58] Let's go to Dennis in Maine, I think it is. [01:00:01] Dennis, you're on the Glenbank program. [01:00:04] Good morning, Justin. [01:00:05] How are you? [01:00:06] Great. [01:00:06] You got any good predictions for us? [01:00:09] I don't know if it's good, but I believe that China will drop communism. [01:00:15] I think that would be great. [01:00:17] What do you think is going to happen? [01:00:20] Well, I think they're going to realize that that label is really throws in some ideas off to them. [01:00:27] But if we look at what China is doing right now, they're buying businesses left and right in the United States. [01:00:33] They're buying farmland, they're buying everything up, and they're realizing that they could get their goals just by buying things. [01:00:41] And if they drop that label, there'd be so many countries that'd be like, oh, look, look, they're one of us. [01:00:46] So you think they'll drop the label, but will they actually drop the practice? [01:00:50] Because, you know, the Chinese Communist Party is linked in all of those businesses that they're buying. [01:00:56] They're essentially, there is no difference between the government and those businesses. [01:01:02] Right. [01:01:02] I do think it'll be more of an undercover fascism, if anything. [01:01:07] I don't, but I don't think they'll have that public label communism because they know. [01:01:11] A rebranding, you're saying. [01:01:13] A rebranding of China. [01:01:15] And really, it's past its use for them. [01:01:21] Yeah. [01:01:22] Lots to consider there. [01:01:23] Dennis, thank you for the call. [01:01:25] We'll do some more of these throughout the show. [01:01:27] If you can hang on with us, 888-727-BEC, that's 888-727-BECK. [01:01:32] Coming up next, he's talking climate, the cult, and what's really at the center of all of this nonsense. [01:01:39] It's another C-word, control. [01:01:41] We'll dig in with that conversation coming up in just moments on the Glenn Beck program. [01:01:46] One more, one more. [01:01:48] Let me go to Troy in Florida. [01:01:50] Troy, you got 30. [01:01:52] Oh, we don't have time. [01:01:53] Don't have time, Troy. [01:01:54] I'm sorry. [01:01:55] Hang on. [01:01:55] We'll get back to you. [01:01:57] Stand by. [01:01:58] I promise you we'll get to as many of these phone calls as we can today. [01:02:01] It's important. [01:02:02] We want to hear from you, the people. [01:02:04] Let you sound off. [01:03:31] more glenn beck in a moment we are going to be taking more of your calls coming up in the in the program if [01:03:59] If you're on the line, hang out if you can. === The Age of Climatism (15:44) === [01:04:01] If not, that's okay. [01:04:03] You can come back next hour if you want to. [01:04:05] Want to hear from you or even continue the predictions for 2024 throughout the program? [01:04:13] 88-8727-BEC, B-E-C-K. [01:04:16] That's 888-727-BEC. [01:04:19] I do want to hear from you because I think, look, it is interesting to me to see what other people see, particularly this audience, to hear what you're hearing. [01:04:28] And I'm just curious, especially with the prediction yesterday or the Sunday from Catherine Harrison, The Face the Nation, where she said she sees a black swan event coming. [01:04:41] Now, a black swan event could be any number of things. [01:04:45] In fact, one of those things is happening now. [01:04:50] I think the overwhelming of the border completely left wide open. [01:04:57] We are hearing story after story about this. [01:05:01] And in fact, Trump's got a new ad out. [01:05:03] President Trump has a new ad. [01:05:05] This is very powerful. [01:05:06] I just put it up on X, formerly Twitter, at Mr.Justin Barklay. [01:05:11] And I'll put all this stuff as I do every day and things we talked about in the stack at JustinBarklay.com. [01:05:16] But here it is, really leans into that open border. [01:05:20] While the world burns, Joe Biden has created a violent threat in our own backyard. [01:05:26] Biden's open border has opened the floodgates to record numbers, including terrorists, fentanyl traffickers, and raises the possibility of a Hamas attack. [01:05:36] President Trump had our border secured, and he'll do it again by building even more wall and stopping people from terrorist countries from ever entering. [01:05:46] I'm Donald J. Trump, and I approve this message. [01:05:49] It's a solid, especially the visuals on this, a solid message, particularly about what's happening at the border. [01:05:56] Now, if you ask questions about that, you know that you are racist, you're misogynist, you're homophobic. [01:06:03] They'll call you all the yists in the book. [01:06:05] In fact, AOC is now saying you're all those things. [01:06:09] And you know, you've got to realize why the people are coming here. [01:06:12] There's a reason for all of this. [01:06:14] It's because of climate change. [01:06:16] So often people want to say, why are you talking about the border crisis? [01:06:19] Or why aren't you talking about it in this way? [01:06:22] Well, we're talking about it. [01:06:23] They just don't like how we're talking about it because it's not a border crisis. [01:06:27] It's an imperialism crisis. [01:06:28] It's a climate crisis. [01:06:29] It's a trade crisis. [01:06:30] This is not a surge. [01:06:32] Oh, yeah. [01:06:32] These are children. [01:06:35] The ones I'm seeing coming from places like China, fully grown, fighting age, as they might describe it, military age. [01:06:45] And there are kids, but the kids are being used in a lot of ways and shields, trafficked across the board. [01:06:50] They are very vulnerable. [01:06:53] But some of those kids are being brought here beyond their will. [01:06:59] This is not what they would want. [01:07:01] In fact, the fate that they face is even worse. [01:07:04] But she said climate change is the problem. [01:07:06] And they are not insurgents, and we are not being invaded, which, by the way, is a white supremacist idea philosophy. [01:07:17] How awesome. [01:07:18] The truth is truth is racist. [01:07:21] It's crazy. [01:07:22] But this is the world that we live in. [01:07:24] They don't want to face the facts, the reality of the truth. [01:07:26] The fantasy world that some of these cultists live in is absolutely, if it weren't so serious, it'd be more laughable. [01:07:36] Steve Gorin joins us right now. [01:07:38] He's actually written the book, several, actually, on all of this, climate cult fiasco and Steve with us right now to talk a little bit about that. [01:07:52] I just find it very laughable. [01:07:55] Like I said, it shouldn't be because of the serious nature of it all. [01:07:59] But they've found a way to blame everything on their cause du jour. [01:08:06] It might be climate change, but I want to get down to what exactly is behind all of this. [01:08:12] Steve, the executive director of the Climate Science Coalition of America, author of four books on energy, climate change, and sustainable development with over 100,000 copies in print. [01:08:22] Steve's new book, Green Breakdown, the Coming Renewable Energy Failure, came out August 1st. [01:08:27] Steve, welcome in. [01:08:28] Hey, Justin, great to join you today. [01:08:31] So now AOC is a border issue, and we know this is what they've wanted, this plan, this open borders. [01:08:38] Again, it's a climate. [01:08:41] They figured out a way to blame everything on climate and whatever they want to at the moment. [01:08:48] That's true. [01:08:51] We're in the age of climatism, if you will. [01:08:54] Yeah, that's exactly. [01:08:55] By the way, that's a term that a couple presidential candidates, Mr. Trump and Mr. Ramaswamy, are using. [01:09:00] Climatism is the fear of human-caused global warming. [01:09:04] It is an ideology, and it has captured the leaders of the world. [01:09:08] We have many things blamed on that. [01:09:11] There have been headlines about couples or people in Florida will cheat on their spouses because of global warming. [01:09:19] I mean, there's just an endless amount of things that you name it, it's caused by man-made warming. [01:09:24] Yeah, crime is another issue. [01:09:27] That's being, you know, people on the streets and the way they're acting, the violence, the things that we're seeing. [01:09:32] But that's all because of climate change. [01:09:36] Well, we're in a tremendous grip of this fear of man-made warming. [01:09:41] The world is spending about a trillion dollars a year, and they're trying to change all of our energy sources. [01:09:47] They're trying to change agriculture. [01:09:48] They're trying to take away your gas stoves, take away your gasoline cars. [01:09:54] If you can imagine it, and people are serious about this. [01:09:58] This is, it would be funny if it isn't going to tragically impact so many people, and it is already impacting people around the world. [01:10:07] You know, I saw the other day speaking of around the world, this is a crazy, I don't know how they figured out this and the hoops they have to jump through, but Reuters, Muslims killed 160 Christians on Christmas Day, Reuters blaming climate change. [01:10:23] Another one of those stories that, again, they found the way to sort of shoehorn into their climate-cause du jour. [01:10:31] Okay, so let me ask you this, Steve. [01:10:34] You know, we got all these things, the politics and the, you know, the messaging of it all sort of floating around. [01:10:40] So let's get real. [01:10:41] Is the climate, is the climate changing? [01:10:45] And has it always been changing? [01:10:47] And does it have anything to do with the fact that you and I, or any of us, drive an SUV and eat steaks? [01:10:55] Well, the climate has always been changing throughout all of history. [01:10:58] We've had long-term cycles, which have created the ice age. [01:11:01] I'm in Chicago here today, and about 20,000 years ago, there was a mile of ice on top of this area. [01:11:08] And we've had warmer periods than we've had today. [01:11:12] About 1,500, about 1,000 years ago, the Vikings settled southwest Greenland and formed colonies there. [01:11:19] At that time, they had trees growing 20 feet high. [01:11:23] Today, there are no trees. [01:11:24] There's nothing but scrub grasses. [01:11:26] It was warmer 1,000 years ago than it is today. [01:11:30] So we have these thousand-year cycles as well. [01:11:32] And then we have short-term cycles like the El NiƱo Southern Oscillation. [01:11:37] And we have temperature cycles in the Pacific and the Atlantic and the Indian Ocean, the Arctic Ocean. [01:11:42] Temperatures have been changing all the time throughout all of Earth's history. [01:11:48] And the amount that your neighbor's SUV is contributing really is a small factor relative to natural factors that determine what happens with the climate. [01:11:59] You know, I see the headlines, and I'm reminded of all of the hysteria that surrounds all of these things. [01:12:07] We just have somehow lost a pretty natural grasp on this. [01:12:12] It's common sense. [01:12:12] It's not common anymore. [01:12:14] The things that you just described, I know because I was taught in school that all these things happen. [01:12:20] And where I'm at in Michigan, we had the same glaciers. [01:12:23] Things are always changing, constantly changing. [01:12:24] The cause of that, a number of reasons for it. [01:12:27] The sun is a big part. [01:12:29] Last time I checked, you and I can't control the sun. [01:12:31] Now, I know Bill Gates wants to. [01:12:33] I know he wants to shut it off. [01:12:36] But last time I checked, we can't control them. [01:12:39] We just had a big solar event the last week or so, didn't we? [01:12:45] Yeah, about 98 or 99% of the energy that the Earth receives comes from the sun. [01:12:51] And what humans do is is relatively small. [01:12:58] So the world spending all this money is not going to have a measurable effect on global temperatures, but unfortunately it is going to impact people's everyday lives and in a negative fashion. [01:13:12] The good news, if you will, is that this is all going to break down. [01:13:17] In my latest book, The Green Breakdown, The Coming Renewable Energy Failure, I talk about this proposed energy transition that all of the world leaders are pushing, and it's just not going to happen. [01:13:30] We're going to get back, we're going to have, instead, we're going to have higher energy prices, we're going to have electricity blackouts, less freedom because they want to take away your cars and your gas stoves. [01:13:40] We're going to have transnational energy shocks like Europe suffered in the last two years. [01:13:44] And people are going to say enough of this. [01:13:46] They're going to demand a return to low-cost reliable energy. [01:13:50] And we're already seeing a little bit of symptoms of a green breakdown. [01:13:53] So we'll see how this goes. [01:13:56] Now, what is all of this about? [01:13:57] Because, see, I know we talked the climate, the cult, but totally, for some reason, I think there's another C involved here, which is control. [01:14:07] Is this all of this about being able to say, well, look, the world's burning, so we've got to tell you that you can't eat meat and that you must eat zip bugs and be happy? [01:14:18] How dare you? [01:14:19] I mean, what is all this about? [01:14:22] Nice clip by Greta Twinberg there, yeah. [01:14:26] Well, I do think that people believe mistakenly that the earth is in danger, and so they're pushing all this fear. [01:14:34] But there's no doubt that the theory of man-made warming and climatism is used for a whole bunch of, to get a whole bunch of policies across. [01:14:42] One example is the United Nations. [01:14:46] For several decades now, the United Nations has wanted to be an environmental leader, and they've used the theory of man-made warming to push that end. [01:14:55] They've also wanted some things like a world government. [01:14:59] Jacques Chirac, the former president of France, commented that the United Nations climate conferences were the first example of world government. [01:15:09] The UN has also wanted to redistribute the world's wealth from the wealthy nations, United States, and Europe to developing nations. [01:15:18] And we've just finished up a climate conference, COP28, in the Middle East. [01:15:28] And they hope to transfer trillions of dollars from the wealthy nations to the developing nations in the name of climate change. [01:15:39] So yeah, climate can be used to further all sorts of ends, just as government leaders have used fears of various things for centuries now. [01:15:51] Look, we joke about some of this, and obviously, Greta, you know, kind of laugh at people gluing themselves to the road and shutting down, you know, airports and roads and things like that. [01:16:03] We kind of joke about, because some of it's so hysterical. [01:16:08] You can't help but kind of laugh at the absurdity of it all. [01:16:11] However, as you just mentioned, COP28, this is where they decide, sort of the policy, how it's going to they sort of dream about it, their green pipe dream. [01:16:19] Then they come home places like where I'm at in Michigan, and the governor goes through and puts his policy into effect that would drastically, dramatically have an impact here. [01:16:29] I mean, you're talking about people who are in danger. [01:16:33] We've seen in Texas what happens when they get a cold day and they're relying too much on wind, solar, and unicorn farts. [01:16:40] People die. [01:16:41] So I've got to ask you, and Steve Gorham's with us right now. [01:16:44] We've got to take a quick break, but what can we do? [01:16:46] What can be done in the fight back to grab control here back and shake common sense into some folks? [01:16:56] How can we fight back against all of this nonsense? [01:17:00] Got to get some solutions when we come back. [01:17:02] Steve Gorham with us. [01:17:03] Back in just a moment. [01:17:04] Justin Barkley in for Glenn today on the Glenn Beck program. [01:17:08] Join the conversation. [01:17:10] 888-727B. [01:17:13] The Glenn Beck Program. [01:17:25] Your home is so much more than the place you live. [01:17:28] It's an investment tool as well. [01:17:30] And you can put that tool to use and access the equity that you have as cash to pay off those high-interest credit cards. [01:17:37] Did you know the average credit card rate now is hovering around 25%? [01:17:40] Some people are paying in 30-plus every single month. [01:17:43] I mean, it's insane. [01:17:44] If you're not paying that debt off in full every month, those fees are adding up and you just can't let that happen, which is why you need to look at your spending, your financing, your debt. [01:17:54] Better yet, let American Financing do that for you. [01:17:56] This is a family-owned mortgage lender. [01:17:58] They're not a bank. [01:17:59] You're important to them. [01:18:00] There's no pressure, no upfront or hidden fees. [01:18:02] If you call them today, you might be able to close in as fast as 10 days and even delay two mortgage payments. [01:18:08] They're saving homeowners just like you an average of $826 a month. [01:18:12] That could be life-changing. [01:18:13] So call today, 800-906-2440, 800-906-2440, AmericanFinancing.net. [01:18:20] American Financing, NMLS, 1-8-2-3-3-4. [01:18:22] www.nmlsconsumeraccess.org. [01:18:34] Not a lot of time here, but I want to make sure we get to the solutions. [01:18:37] Steve Gorham, our guest here, talking about the climate, cold, and all the control that really is at stake. [01:18:44] Steve, what are the solutions? [01:18:45] Do you see anything, ways that folks can fight back? [01:18:49] Yeah, I do. [01:18:49] First, they ought to educate themselves and their family members. [01:18:52] And the best way to do that is first to get a copy of my new book, Green Breakdown. [01:18:57] They can get these from my website, Steve Gorham, G-O-R-E-H-A-M.com. [01:19:03] And I'll send them a signed copy. [01:19:06] And another one for their family members, their kids and their grandkids, the mad, mad, mad world of climatism. [01:19:12] They should get that one to counter what's being taught in schools. [01:19:15] But then they ought to push back. [01:19:17] People want to build a wind turbine installation on the next hill, they should oppose that, or a solar farm next door, or build a carbon dioxide capture pipeline through their, by their town, they should be opposing those and voting for leaders. [01:19:32] Or if they want to take away their gas stoves and their gasoline cars, these things are not going to do anything to affect global temperatures. [01:19:38] It's not going to be measurable. [01:19:40] So people need to get active and get out and push for leaders that are going to get back to energy common sense. === Fighting Back Against the Narrative (04:34) === [01:19:46] Best way for folks to get in contact with you, Steve? [01:19:50] Yeah, my website, SteveGorham.com. [01:19:52] And on all my books, there's an email on the back of the title page. [01:19:56] So I'll be happy to respond to them. [01:19:58] I appreciate that. [01:19:59] Thank you very much, Steve Gorham. [01:20:02] This is the key, though. [01:20:04] I mean, it's not enough that we recognize it, we talk about it. [01:20:07] That's only part of it. [01:20:08] The next part is to take action. [01:20:10] And I've seen it. [01:20:11] I've seen it happen where people literally in their own town, in their own little township area, have decided to push back on a lot of this nonsense. [01:20:21] You know, the biggest difference you can make often isn't far away in places like the capital in your state or in Washington, D.C. in a swamp, but it's right in your own backyard, in fact, in your home. [01:20:35] And those are the things that, boy, I tell you, when you really start to see a difference, they add up. [01:20:42] Yeah, they do. [01:20:44] Stand up. [01:20:46] Fight back. [01:20:47] We'll continue to fight. [01:20:48] And of course, coming up next hour, more of your phone calls. [01:20:50] What do you see coming up? [01:20:51] Predictions for 2024. [01:20:52] We'll get into those as well. [01:20:53] You can join the program. [01:20:54] Triple-8727-BEC. [01:20:56] Justin Barkley in for Glenn today on the Glenn Beck program. [01:20:59] back after this. [01:21:05] This is... [01:21:42] Stand up straight and hold the line. [01:21:47] It's a new day I'm tandering what you are about to hear is the fusion of entertainment and enlightenment. [01:21:59] This is the Glen Beck program This one is an interesting story an attack on free speech from aside an angle that we really haven't necessarily seen yet before You're saying something that goes against the narrative. [01:22:21] Are you spreading the dangerous truths? [01:22:26] Well you could soon fix fines for that. [01:22:30] We'll tell you how and why all coming up plus we're grabbing your calls to hear about predictions for 2024 and beyond what do you see coming in the next year? [01:22:40] It's all coming up this hour. [01:22:43] Justin Barkley in for Glenn Today on the Glen Beck program. [01:22:46] We're back after this. [01:23:58] You know, I really do cherish the opportunity to have conversations with each other and about the stories, the things that matter the most. [01:24:10] I, I... [01:24:11] I got to tell you, I don't know how long we'll be able to do just that. [01:24:18] Look, you really don't have to look much further. === Spam Crackdown on Digital Currency (16:02) === [01:24:20] What we've seen over the last few years and how intense the fight has been. [01:24:31] Everything from election interference, the government telling social media companies what they can and can't allow to take out any criticism or any alternative Practices or ways to deal with certain viruses and things of that nature. [01:24:54] This whole era really gave sort of birth to this new sort of censorship that, look, you just can't deny it. [01:25:04] And by the way, that's what the Blaze and this program is all about. [01:25:09] It's about fighting back against. [01:25:11] It's about the truth and being able to have the conversations that matter most. [01:25:18] So I saw this latest story and it's starting to bubble up. [01:25:22] Well, here we go again. [01:25:24] I don't know how much of this verifiable in the terms of what is actually going to happen, but I just want you to know it's being discussed. [01:25:38] This is coming from various individuals who have sort of ring the alarm on this. [01:25:45] But beginning in January, T-Mobile will be updating their terms of service and issuing fines, they say, to any vendor, business, or person, according to this report, who uses their commercial SMS services and sends what they deem as, quote, hate speech. [01:26:07] Now, that's just a part of it. [01:26:10] Really, it's aimed at what they're calling spam and some of the other major issues. [01:26:17] Now, they're being cracked down also by the federal government as well. [01:26:21] There's some changes. [01:26:22] I have a text line that we're able to send things out on and have conversations with people back and forth. [01:26:31] This has been another way to reach people that I've used in my bank because you just never know whether social media, you post something online, whether or not it's actually going to get out to people. [01:26:43] At any different time, and right now we don't seem to be as throttled as we have in the past. [01:26:49] I'm sure, because we're quickly approaching an election year. [01:26:55] I'm sure that will all that will change here shortly. [01:26:59] But on social media, a place like Facebook or you name it, you know, we constantly, every time I try to post something or share something or do a live video or whatever it might be, it barely reaches, it barely reaches out to the people. [01:27:15] Now, there's like, you know, a decent number of people on this page, and it very, like, sort of maybe a fraction of those people are actually seeing. [01:27:28] And I will get people to come to say, I didn't know you were, I didn't know you were still doing your stuff. [01:27:36] Stream it every day on Facebook and you know EX and Rumble and and a number of these different places, and I get people it's particularly on Facebook they came in and were watching it and during the height of this stuff, the 2020, when I was really talking about stories and sharing things that people weren't hearing very in in Michigan particularly very uh, I think they were drawn to that. [01:28:03] But you know, now I get a lot of people who come to, I didn't know you were still on. [01:28:08] I haven't seen your posts in ages. [01:28:11] And they'll just somehow stumble back or find me and be reminded. [01:28:15] So this is nothing new. [01:28:16] And I'm not complaining about it. [01:28:18] I know it's just a fact of life. [01:28:21] I know it's just something that we have to deal with. [01:28:26] I am not naive here. [01:28:29] Okay. [01:28:30] So just making that point clear. [01:28:35] But now, what appears to be happening is that they're going so far now as to crack down because get the social media through AI and algorithms and things like that worked out. [01:28:47] Now they're working on the peer-to-peer. [01:28:49] So that would be you possibly even personally being able to send messages to friends and family, loved ones that you care about and with certain messages in it. [01:29:07] Certain stories, certain content that they deem or they may deem is off limits. [01:29:18] Now, here's an article from Cordcutter News. [01:29:20] T-Mobile will send soon fine you $2,000 fines for sending spam or illegal content on some accounts. [01:29:28] They go on to say spam is a massive problem through text messages of the last few years. [01:29:32] Now T-Mobile, by the way, tell Nikki Haley to stop texting me. [01:29:36] I don't know why. [01:29:37] Nikki, I get a text message every day. [01:29:40] I don't know how much she's spending on text messaging, but I thank you, Nikki. [01:29:43] I appreciate it. [01:29:47] I don't need another text message. [01:29:50] But this is, by the way, that's the kind of, that's the kind of text messages I'd like to see stop. [01:29:57] Things like that. [01:29:58] Unsolicited. [01:29:59] I don't know how I ended up on your list. [01:30:01] I never opted in. [01:30:03] So this may be, in fact, called spam. [01:30:06] And I haven't yet. [01:30:07] See, I'm also like, I don't know about you, but I'm kind of apprehensive about texting back stop because I don't want to confirm this is a phone number because anybody text back stop. [01:30:18] Try to opt out. [01:30:19] And then they go, oh, we got a hot one here. [01:30:22] Somebody will respond. [01:30:25] So I'm kind of on the line. [01:30:27] I was just sort of teeter-tottering back and forth on that. [01:30:30] They say spam has been a massive problem through text messages over the last few years. [01:30:34] Now T-Mobile has changed its terms of services to add fines. [01:30:39] Now, I don't know how they're going to find, I don't know how this is going to actually work. [01:30:46] You fine me, I'm not paying a fine, especially if I don't have T-Mobile service. [01:30:50] How does this work? [01:30:53] Apparently, they would be adding fines. [01:30:54] This article says to business accounts that send spam social engineering messages, whatever that might be, or illegal content over the T-Mobile network. [01:31:05] The new fines will take effect January 1st. [01:31:08] The good news is the regular accounts not affected by the new rule. [01:31:11] Business accounts will face fines and termination. [01:31:16] So there you have it. [01:31:18] Now, this has been, a lot of this has been furthered by some to say, well, they're going to come after you for things that you or they deem hate. [01:31:30] So, first of all, who gets a say in what hate speech, what it actually means or what it is? [01:31:38] Who gets to decide what is on limits and off limits? [01:31:43] What is okay and what is not? [01:31:49] Who gets to choose? [01:31:50] That's a great question. [01:31:51] But again, this is just one of the carriers. [01:31:55] And this is another one of these. [01:31:56] Really, we got to be very careful. [01:31:58] These are one of these lines that you walk that you don't know how far this thing is going to go. [01:32:05] One of them picks it up. [01:32:06] If they don't get enough pushback on this, customers saying, look, I don't like this. [01:32:15] You know, some dropping their accounts, whatever. [01:32:17] I don't have T-Mobile, so I don't know how that all works with them. [01:32:21] But illegal content refers to any content that is not legal in all 50 states federally. [01:32:29] So that would include anything that has to do with marijuana. [01:32:33] There's a lot of states now that are starting to, they have recreational, like we do here in Michigan. [01:32:39] No, I'm not on it this morning. [01:32:44] Contrary to what some of you might think, fraudulent or misleading messages. [01:32:49] Well, what that might that be? [01:32:50] If you sent a message saying, well, I believe that the election outcome was different than what the official narrative is, would that be fraudulent and misleading? [01:33:04] Depictions or endorsements of violence, inappropriate content, profanity, or hate speech. [01:33:09] Again, what is hate speech? [01:33:14] And if you're saying, I believe you're biologically born a male, well, then you're always going to be biologists. [01:33:19] It's in the genes. [01:33:20] You can't change that. [01:33:24] Well, that might be hate speech. [01:33:29] See, so again, This is a bit of an encroachment, a crackdown that I think folks see a slippery slope with. [01:33:38] You've already seen it on your social media, and a lot of conservatives, anyway, have sort of just, they've sort of just shrugged it off saying, well, you know, it's a private company and these social media companies, they could do what they want to do. [01:33:52] You know, I get that argument, but at the same time, they have never had the type of impact that they, or the ability to, that they have these days. [01:34:11] And the same could be same for when it comes to the social media. [01:34:15] I will tell you this, no matter what happens, people will, because this is just what resilient people do, particularly Americans. [01:34:23] They will find a way around it all. [01:34:27] But in the meantime, they may speak up and say, we don't want any part of this either. [01:34:31] But it's just one of those stories that's floating around out there that I thought maybe and several reached out to me on that thought it was an important story to discuss. [01:34:41] What do you think is coming in 2024? [01:34:44] Will it be more censorship? [01:34:47] More encroachment on your First Amendment rights, your freedom of speech, etc. [01:34:53] Will there be other things that happen? [01:34:55] I want to hear from you. [01:34:56] We're talking predictions today. [01:34:58] And obviously, the audience, I think you, the Glenn Beck program audience, has insight that no other does. [01:35:07] That's why I always love to hear from you. [01:35:09] You can join the program. [01:35:10] Tell us what you think's coming in 2024 at 888-727-BEC. [01:35:15] That's 888-727-BECK. [01:35:18] We're going to take some phone calls, read some emails, and grab yours right after this. [01:35:22] Back in just moments, Justin Barkley in for Glenn today on the Glenn Beck program. [01:35:28] Your home is so much more than the place you live. [01:35:31] It's an investment tool as well. [01:35:32] And you can put that tool to use and access the equity that you have as cash to pay off those high interest credit cards. [01:35:39] Did you know the average credit card rate now is hovering around 25%? [01:35:42] Some people are paying in 30-plus every single month. [01:35:45] I mean, it's insane. [01:35:46] If you're not paying that debt off in full every month, those fees are adding up and you just can't let that happen, which is why you need to look at your spending, your financing, your debt. [01:35:56] Better yet, let American Financing do that for you. [01:35:59] This is a family-owned mortgage lender. [01:36:00] They're not a bank. [01:36:01] You're important to them. [01:36:02] There's no pressure, no upfront or hidden fees. [01:36:04] If you call them today, you might be able to close in as fast as 10 days and even delay two mortgage payments. [01:36:10] They're saving homeowners just like you an average of $826 a month. [01:36:14] That could be life-changing. [01:36:16] So call today, 800-906-2440, 800-906-2440. [01:36:20] AmericanFinancing.net. [01:36:22] American Financing, NMLS, 1-8-2-3-3-4. [01:36:25] www.nmlsconsumeraccess.org Some of these predictions, I think, are really interesting. [01:36:43] I, well, look, we... [01:36:45] We've heard from a number of different people already over the last couple of days. [01:36:50] I want to hear from you. [01:36:51] 888 727BECK. [01:36:55] Bill has got one in an email here, justin at justinbarkley.com. [01:37:01] It's been mentioned sporadically here and there, but it amazes me that more conservatives aren't making it a main topic. [01:37:11] The topic of digital currency, the biggest threat to personal freedom and privacy that we have ever seen in modern times. [01:37:20] It's laughable to hear all the whining and gnashing of teeth about Trump being a Nazi, a fascist, a dictator, et cetera, considering what Obama's puppet has been doing. [01:37:28] Very good point, he says. [01:37:31] Big Brother O'Biden's minions have been working on this since day one and like to switch from the gold standard sometime before he loses in November. [01:37:37] He will throw that switch and declare that fiat currency is no longer legal tender and all the money will be converted to a government-issued card by a given date. [01:37:46] That card shall be issued for all monetary transactions. [01:37:51] The government will cite any number of reasons why this will lead to greater security, less crime, particularly drug crime, etc. [01:37:59] What they won't say, but will be realized immediately, is that all of an individual's purchases activities will be easily monitored by the government and ultimately controlled if in some bureaucrats' mind it becomes necessary. [01:38:15] Now, we just talked about this with the text messages on your phone. [01:38:22] This is you'll get a text or an email. [01:38:24] Mr. Smith, our records indicate you have far surpassed your allowed amount of fill-in-the-blank gas, alcohol, meat, travel, et cetera, for the month. [01:38:34] Your ability to purchase that commodity has been suspended for the remainder of this period. [01:38:38] Or as the system evolves, he says, and becomes more like China, if the left were to gain more power, the message could indicate that further violations would result in negative marks on your social credit score, which would mean the loss of your privileges. [01:38:55] See, the boy is a black mirror episode. [01:38:57] I only watched a couple of the black mirrors. [01:38:58] It's just too out there for me, but I did see the social co-oh, man, you talk about freaky. [01:39:04] And we're not far from that. [01:39:06] This may sound extreme, Bill writes, but look where leaving the gold standard has gotten this. [01:39:12] It should be talked about regularly so the American people can armor up against it and let their representatives know that it will be unacceptable long before it's slipped into the dead of night. [01:39:22] Oh man I, this is a uh I, I. [01:39:31] This is one of the things that I am uh concerned about too. [01:39:35] It not just a well, digital currency isn't, isn't uh, isn't my concern a digital currency. [01:39:46] If, if we can have uh decentralized digital currency, that I think might be kind of interesting. [01:39:59] But when you have centralized, in other words, government control, which is really what Bill is talking about a government controlled digital currency, central digital currency, that is the thing that I do see uh being a major issue because, as he said you could, that's complete, that's game over. === Centralized Control Is Game Over (02:06) === [01:40:23] So how do you fight against that? [01:40:24] There are a couple of different things, a couple of different ways that people have uh have taken steps to fight against the central digital currency and, and a lot of it has been the parallel economy. [01:40:40] You know this is coming together with your friends, your relatives, your loved ones, your neighbors and deciding that you're going to build your own sort of economy. [01:40:54] You know somebody that uh that that, that that raises uh cows and you need meat and and you've got uh I don't know uh your ability to work on cars tractors trucks, whatever it might be. [01:41:07] You can trade, maybe you produce some things that you can trade. [01:41:11] Those are, those are ways to do it. [01:41:12] Or maybe, for the time being you, you know, you get a little, I don't know precious metals gold silver, lead and you stock up and you have different things that you may trade uh, or you may be able to uh, you know, barter. [01:41:29] These are all different things. [01:41:31] Look, I know how crazy this sounds, but at the end of the day, I think we're actually getting more mainstream. [01:41:38] I I think that the folks who want to just uh, maybe go out the middle of the woods, a little cabin somewhere, you know uh, Maybe raise a couple of chickens or something. [01:41:48] I mean, I have that dream, and I got to tell you, I mean, I don't know how far off. [01:41:53] There's like if I can get an internet signal to be able to do my radio program, I guess I could do it. [01:41:58] But those chickens, there are more and more people with those chickens these days. [01:42:01] And I tell you, I think that's a smart thing. [01:42:05] We talked a little about that yesterday. [01:42:07] Prepping, preparing. [01:42:09] I like it all depends on you and praying like it all depends on God. [01:42:13] Prep hard, pray harder. [01:42:15] That idea, I think that's just smart these days. [01:42:19] Bill, I appreciate the email. [01:42:20] I got a bank full of phone calls, folks, lined up to weigh in and we'll take your predictions as well as we continue getting close to the end of the year, putting the wraps on it. === Predicting the 2024 Black Swan (02:05) === [01:42:29] Well, she said on CBS Deface the Nation the other day, Catherine Harris, you seen a black swan event the year of 2024. [01:42:39] What do you see? [01:42:39] Maybe even some good news you'd like to predict will get you on the record. [01:42:44] After this, Justin Barkley in today, triple-8-727-BAC. [01:42:48] That's 888-727-BECK. [01:42:51] Back on the Glenn Back program. [01:42:52] After this, the Glenn Back program. [01:42:59] How's your car working these days? [01:43:01] Let's just say you're driving a vehicle that's out of warranty and it breaks down. [01:43:05] Then what do you do? [01:43:06] Besides panic, auto repair costs are up 20% from last year. [01:44:01] Miss this show. [01:44:02] Listen anytime, anywhere podcasts are found. [01:44:06] Stick around. [01:44:06] more after the break uh your predictions for 2024 What's on your radar? === Can We Pull It Out? (10:11) === [01:44:34] What do you think is coming? [01:44:37] 888-727-BECK. [01:44:40] Those are the calls. [01:44:41] We're getting ready to take a bank full of them here in just a moment. [01:44:43] Want to hear from you. [01:44:44] First, Lisa, you know, this is going to be front and center. [01:44:47] Did you ever see, think it seemed like Democrats turning on each other the way they are? [01:44:52] Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson begging Biden for help with the illegals who've crossed the border now are in the windy city. [01:45:02] But we have reached a critical point in this mission that absent real significant intervention immediately. [01:45:13] Our local economies are not designed and built to respond to this type of crisis. [01:45:21] We are literally building a system as we go along. [01:45:24] I commend Mayor Johnston and Mayor. [01:45:26] These are sanctuary cities, by the way. [01:45:28] They said, bring us, bring us, everybody, and we'll take care of them. [01:45:35] Sing Kumbaya and all that other stuff. [01:45:37] Now they're switching their tune. [01:45:41] Wait a minute. [01:45:41] We can't handle all of this. [01:45:45] Of course, they're begging for help from the federal government, which means you and I essentially will have to bail them out. [01:45:53] Or if we make a different decision in 2024, we may end up sending some of these folks back. [01:46:01] I don't know how you even know where any of these people are now. [01:46:06] Supposedly they were given cell phones and supposedly they've got court dates and all that's going to help everybody keep track of it all. [01:46:13] And I don't know. [01:46:16] I don't know how you actually can physically do it all, but there you have it. [01:46:23] I'm sure that'll be front and center in 2024. [01:46:27] But what else? [01:46:29] What else is out there in 2024? [01:46:31] Let me go to the phone. [01:46:32] I maybe even get some good ones in here. [01:46:33] If you've got a good one, a lot of Dumbloom, the sky is falling. [01:46:38] Chicken Little. [01:46:39] I got that. [01:46:39] I got it. [01:46:40] I got it. [01:46:40] I understand. [01:46:41] I think we ought to be. [01:46:42] But is there any? [01:46:43] Can you see any good happening? [01:46:44] This has got to be some good on the horizon. [01:46:46] Michael in Oklahoma, we'll start with you on the Glenn Beck program. [01:46:52] Yes, sir. [01:46:53] What do you see coming in 24? [01:46:55] Trump's going to be president. [01:46:59] That would be fantastic. [01:47:03] You stopping with that. [01:47:04] Is there anything? [01:47:04] Do you have any caveats to it? [01:47:07] I mean, he's the only one that, only one that makes any sense in the crime age right now, anyway. [01:47:14] And honestly, he's still president in my eyes. [01:47:17] Does he turn things around? [01:47:19] Is he able to do it? [01:47:21] Everything he says he's going to do, he does. [01:47:23] I mean, no doubt about it. [01:47:25] Well, I know he has. [01:47:26] I'm just saying, do you think in 24, in your prediction of him becoming president again, do you think he'll be able to write the ship? [01:47:34] Oh, yeah. [01:47:35] Definitely. [01:47:39] I like it. [01:47:40] Michael, I like it. [01:47:41] That's a good way to start. [01:47:42] Thank you. [01:47:43] Appreciate it. [01:47:44] Do you think they'll let that happen? [01:47:47] DK in Minnesota. [01:47:49] We'll go to you. [01:47:51] You're on the Glenback Program, 2024 predictions. [01:47:54] Good morning, sir. [01:47:55] Thanks for having me on today. [01:47:57] Appreciate you taking over for Glenn. [01:47:59] My pleasure. [01:48:01] I got just a nasty feeling. [01:48:03] I hate to say it, but of all the people that live in this nation that are on the conservative side, it takes a lot to push conservatives over the edge, and I think we're just about there. [01:48:13] And unfortunately, I got a feeling that they're going to mess with this next year's election and everything having to do it. [01:48:19] They're doing it blatantly in front of our face as it is. [01:48:22] And I think we've had enough. [01:48:24] I mean, as far as all this woke ideology and everything that's been coming our way, we try and be nice and be tolerant and just ignore the stupidity and just the ridiculous hypocrisy with everything that they do. [01:48:38] I think, honestly, that we're looking at a civil war coming up because I don't think we can take anymore. [01:48:47] I hope not. [01:48:48] DK, what do you think that looks like? [01:48:52] Is it like just a split of the states? [01:48:58] What does that look like? [01:49:01] I guess if there was some way that we could do it, I know myself and many other people would be more than happy if you draw a line straight down the middle of this country and you take one side and take the other. [01:49:13] The only stipulation is that once you mess up your side of the country, you ain't coming back to ours. [01:49:19] You know, on the other hand, we are forgiving people as well. [01:49:22] But unfortunately, people still know how to get a hold of each other. [01:49:25] We're in the age of technology, and that's easily shut down. [01:49:29] But they did it years ago before everybody had telephones and ways to get a hold of each other, email and social media. [01:49:37] I just got a feeling it's going to come right down to it, and it's going to be icky, unfortunately. [01:49:44] DK, thank you, my friend. [01:49:45] Praying for this country, because I know every day we're being marched towards that. [01:49:49] There's nothing more that they would like than some sort of conflict between us. [01:49:56] You know, that's the truth. [01:49:57] I mean, every day, this divide and conquer strategy is designed to push us further apart. [01:50:05] And again, if we're divided, we can't face the real threat, which is these people that want complete and total control over you and me. [01:50:15] Sean in Florida, you've waited so long. [01:50:17] Thank you for being patient this morning. [01:50:19] Sean in Florida, you're on the Glenback Program. [01:50:21] Well, thanks for having me, and thanks for filling in for Glenn, like everybody says. [01:50:25] I think this little steeplechase starts off slow. [01:50:28] And I think you guys see at the national level, everything kind of slow down and back off as we get into 2024. [01:50:35] Things won't pick up on the left until after the elections. [01:50:38] And it goes one of two ways. [01:50:40] Either, you know, your previous caller said that, you know, Trump wins, and then they go, you know, bonkers and cities burn, which may trigger what your last caller said. [01:50:50] I don't know. [01:50:51] But I think at your state and local levels, that's where people really need to pay attention and at the corporate level, because you're starting to see a lot more infringement on our free speech, on our rights as far as the Second Amendment, your freedom of your privacy, your Fourth Amendment, from corporate entities as well as local and state governments. [01:51:11] And that's where we really need to focus because that's where the metal meets me. [01:51:16] Do you think it's salvageable? [01:51:19] Do you think we're able to fight back and win? [01:51:22] I mean, I always have a bit of an optimist, I guess, point of view when it comes to some of these things. [01:51:28] I am realistic in that what we're facing is unlike anything we've ever faced before, but I also don't rule out divine intervention. [01:51:37] Sean, do you think we can pull it out? [01:51:39] Well, you know, I hope divine intervention would be enough to work. [01:51:44] But sometimes, you know, you just got to pull yourself up by the bootstrap, even though AOC says you can't do that. [01:51:49] And, you know, just make it work. [01:51:51] But we get to. [01:51:53] She's a perfect example. [01:51:54] Wait a minute. [01:51:54] Wait a minute. [01:51:55] Sean, she's a perfect example. [01:51:56] She was a bartender. [01:51:58] Yeah. [01:51:59] Well, point it down and I'll look at her. [01:52:02] She's a perfect example of everything that's right and wrong at the same time in this country. [01:52:08] True. [01:52:09] True. [01:52:10] We have the capability, and I don't like a defeatist mentality. [01:52:13] You know, you probably have friends or people you've talked to that said, man, if we don't win this election, it's game over, man. [01:52:18] I've never said it's game over. [01:52:20] But if you're willing to give up your rights, if you're not willing to stand up, and that's what, that's what those rights are there for, when negotiation fails, you know, you still have options. [01:52:31] And until you give up completely, you know, spiritually, physically, morally, it's never open. [01:52:39] You know, I guess that's the proverbial fat lady singing right there. [01:52:43] Amen. [01:52:43] Sean, I appreciate it. [01:52:45] Thank you so much for weighing in this. [01:52:48] We've got some great folks listening to this program. [01:52:50] The audience, always with the ear turned to the ground, you've got touch with common sense and reality like none other. [01:52:57] That's why I love having these conversations. [01:52:59] I'm going to take some more. [01:53:00] We'll do a few others at 888-727-B-E-C-K 888-727-B-E-C-K. [01:53:08] I did read one. [01:53:09] I got one at Justin Barclay, Justin at JustinBarclay.com, if you want to email me. [01:53:14] And I did get one about a guy who said, basically, he thinks Trump's going to win, but that's when all the chaos is going to start. [01:53:24] Now, that is fascinating. [01:53:31] I hadn't really thought about that too much yet. [01:53:35] Now, I don't know what could be done or what would be done if they got serious about squashing some of it but imagine that we've got the border wide open you know you you've got thousands of people streaming where we don't know who they are 17200 however many that were caught that were on terrorist watch lists Those are the ones we know about again. [01:54:05] And then again, you've got radical leftists being indoctrinated in schools across the country, marching, gluing themselves to roads and causing mostly peaceful protests. [01:54:20] Remember the BLM riots of 2020? [01:54:23] Well, if he wins, the meltdowns that we saw when he won last time and Hillary lost, these folks in the fair, the images are iconic. [01:54:35] All of that may look like child's play if he does in fact. [01:54:40] Because remember, they've been told, they've been told that this guy is the devil incarnate. === The Radical Leftist Meltdown (06:53) === [01:54:46] He's Antichrist. [01:54:47] He's Hitler. [01:54:48] He's all the bad things you can think of. [01:54:50] But worse. [01:54:54] And so they see, and unfortunately, mental health is a big part of this. [01:54:59] They see the major existential threat to our country, to their way of life, to their happiness, to our freedoms, etc., if he is elected. [01:55:09] And no telling what may happen. [01:55:11] Hang on, we grab your phone calls too coming up after this. [01:55:14] It's Justin Barclay in for Glenn today on the Glenn Beck program. [01:56:58] One of the leftovers in the stack, probably for tomorrow, we'll have to get to it at some point. [01:57:03] I'm an ecosexual. [01:57:07] I've fallen in love with an oak tree. [01:57:09] How dare you? [01:57:11] Yep. [01:57:12] Nobody seen that one coming last year. [01:57:16] What are your predictions for 2024? [01:57:19] I predict more insane headlines just like that. [01:57:25] Just about 30 seconds. [01:57:27] I'm going to do a lightning round of folks coming through. [01:57:30] Ron in Massachusetts, you're on the Glenn Beck program. [01:57:33] What's your prediction for 24? [01:57:36] Hey, good morning. [01:57:37] Thanks for the privilege. [01:57:40] Thank you, brother. [01:57:41] You too. [01:57:43] So I'm calling from Magachusetts. [01:57:47] Yes. [01:57:47] And I guess, you know, with these black swans, a cataclysmic event could happen anytime, anywhere. [01:57:57] But I don't believe that these financial reports from the government, I don't believe them. [01:58:03] They've come out with the perfect numbers every single time on the employment. [01:58:09] But then they have to be revised and they're always revised down. [01:58:13] So I really don't believe any of the numbers that they feel like the economy is being propped up by welfare spending and also people maxing out their credit cards. [01:58:26] And basically, as far as like housing goes, I think the banks are going to be in trouble because they're paying out way more interest on deposits like certificates and deposits than what they are. [01:58:39] A majority of their mortgages are at 3%. [01:58:42] What do you think is going to happen, Ron? [01:58:44] I'd hate to push you, but we got to wrap up. [01:58:46] What do you think is going to happen? [01:58:48] Well, I do believe there's a big-time correction or a crash that will happen. [01:58:52] I know we've been talking about it for a few years, but the good news is that if you know about inverse ETFs, toward options and shorting, you can profit from that too as well. [01:59:04] Ron, I appreciate the phone call this morning. [01:59:06] You know, the bank situation is real. [01:59:07] That's why the Fed, I've heard, is bringing the interest rates down is because these banks all have these loans that are out there. [01:59:13] And if they don't bring it all down, by April, May, somewhere in there, they're going to go under. [01:59:19] I mean, we're going to have serious issues. [01:59:21] I only have 30 seconds left. [01:59:22] I hate to do it. [01:59:23] Josh, you're the last one in Pennsylvania. [01:59:26] What do you see coming for 24? [01:59:28] Yes, sir. [01:59:29] Hey, yeah, thank you. [01:59:31] So just to be clear, everything that I want to say comes from a biblical perspective, which I think is important. [01:59:42] And so briefly, 2016, God gives me a verse, Jeremiah 33, 3, call unto me and I'll answer you. [01:59:50] I'll show you hidden things. [01:59:51] I'll show you secret things that you didn't know. [01:59:54] And since then, he has. [01:59:57] he's shown me things. [01:59:58] And I, I really feel like things are just going to deteriorate more. [02:00:03] Um, I don't feel like they're going to allow Trump to win this presidency. [02:00:07] They can't afford to. [02:00:09] But I just think that, you know, one of the things that isn't on our radar is AI and artificial intelligence and that danger. [02:00:18] And I feel like transhumanism is going to be a big push in 2024. [02:00:24] I've already heard CEOs of major phone companies talking about integrating cellular technology into the human body. [02:00:31] So I think that's something that we need to look forward, or not look forward to, but keep an eye out for. [02:00:37] Jess, you know, we can do a whole show on this. [02:00:40] This is very important. [02:00:42] Glenn has dug into it in depth, and I appreciate you bringing it up. [02:00:46] AI, definitely a threat. [02:00:47] Who knows? [02:00:49] 24 and beyond how far it all goes. [02:00:52] But it could also be, it could be a tool. [02:00:53] It could also be used to do some things that would be very beneficial and miraculous in a lot of ways. [02:01:01] So it is, you know, that's the thing is we're humans. [02:01:05] So we're, unfortunately, we live in this fallen world. [02:01:08] We have this ability to really ruin everything if we get too far off the path provided. [02:01:18] So listen, I have enjoyed this thoroughly the last couple of days. [02:01:23] We got one more together tomorrow in for Glenn on the Glenn Beck program. [02:01:26] We'll do more of these predictions and I think wrap up the year in a way that you're going to want to be here for. [02:01:33] Justin Barkley in for Glenn Beck today, always a privilege and an honor. [02:01:39] God bless.
