Stu and Jeff Fisher fill in for sick Glenn Beck, criticizing Omicron mask mandates and Biden's economic failures while predicting Republican midterm losses. They highlight Trump's upcoming Mar-a-Lago interview focusing on future challenges rather than January 6th, contrasting his relatable business style with Biden's incompetence. The hosts detail alarming 2021 societal shifts, including gender identity trends and TikTok bans, arguing these crises validate the need for conservative leadership to restore order and economic stability. Glenn is out sick today, so we got some good stuff for you today.
Like day two or three.
I know.
He's already out sick.
It's been a long year.
Okay.
It's 2022 now, by the way.
It is time to get rid of some things.
Glenn could be one of them, but you should probably also start thinking about getting rid of all those old pairs of sweatpants and underwear that are like grimy and full of holes and they look like you went through a world war with them.
They are comfortable though.
And I understand why you might not want to get rid of that old stuff.
But if you want to go and get something different, something new, something awesome, you're going to want Tommy Johns.
They've got you covered, literally.
Their underwear has breathable, lightweight, moisture-wicking fabric with four times the stretch of competing brands.
And you'll feel the same level of comfort layering their luxurious soft loungewear right on top.
I got to tell you, man, that loungewear, I never want to get out of it.
The Tommy John stuff I have, I love it.
You will love it too.

Glenn Beck's Two-Day Absence00:06:51
Well, there you go.
Stand up.
It's 2022 and Glenn decided not to stand up out of bed today.
He's sick.
He made it one day.
One day.
About two, right?
Well, two days.
That's true.
Two days.
He made two days.
It's day three.
And that's it.
No, he'll be back hopefully tomorrow.
He's got a big Donald Trump interview.
Luckily, he pre-taped it because that would have been an issue today.
We'll get into everything that's going on.
There is a lot to go through today.
It's Stu in for Glenn with Jeff Fisher from his fabulous podcast, Chewing the Fat.
You should check that out as well.
We'll start the show here in about 60 seconds.
So, what a great taste.
17 grams of protein, 130 calories, 4 grams of sugar, 4 net carbs.
What do they all have in common?
Usually, I don't know, it's like bite one of something that tastes good or some terrible diet product that does not have the great taste.
Well, usually healthy food isn't supposed to taste great.
That's what we've all learned throughout our entire lives.
But if you have New Year's resolutions that are going on right now to eat healthier, I mean, or if your wife's New Year's resolution for you is to eat healthier, this is the way to do it because you can kind of, this is a little bit of a scam of the system, Jeffy, where with Built Bars, you can kind of go around the system.
You can eat healthy and basically be eating candy bars.
So, I mean, I've already beat that game.
Yeah.
Yeah, because Bilt Bar and myself have been friends for a while now.
It's a nice relationship you have.
It's difficult to eat just one.
That is the issue.
You're supposed to eat one at a time.
But you know what?
Built Bar is going to hook you up with as many as you need.
Built is proving that, of course, the rules about snacks have changed.
And now you don't have to have a protein bar that tastes like junk.
You can have something that tastes really good.
It actually doesn't suck.

Glenn is out today, and he is sick.
We got the call this morning.
We don't know if it's the Quran or not.
Oh, no.
Could it be the Quran?
We don't know.
Oh, everyone on earth right now has Omicron.
Yeah, if you're sick, you've got Omicron.
Even if you're not sick, I'm pretty sure you have Omicron.
Everyone on earth right now, no matter where you're listening to me, you're thinking to yourself, I don't have Omicron.
Yes, you do.
You might not know it yet.
But everyone on earth has Omicron.
That does feel like the situation right now.
I had a bunch of people, friends of mine, relatives of mine that got it over the holidays.
We came in here yesterday.
It looked like a war zone had gone on.
Everyone seemed like they were sick.
Why am I in this room?
No, I know.
This is the COVID room.
This is where we keep all the people we want to kill.
Jeffy, welcome to the program.
Thank you.
Happy to be here.
Wait, I'm in here too.
This is not a good idea.
But it really does seem that way.
So many weird things are happening right now.
You know, my kids love a little Panda Express.
Now, I know you would never go.
You're not a fast food guy.
You're not an unhealthy food guy.
I like to slave over the stove.
Yeah.
My kids love authentic Chinese food from Panda Express.
Thank you.
You know, the orange chicken.
This is lovely.
This is the length of it.
You might as well get something for yourself.
Right.
Occasionally, I'll dabble in a little Panda Express.
It can be quite delicious.
However, around us right now, it's not delicious because it's not open.
And I thought to myself, Panda Express, it's got an adorable Panda on the sign.
It's got delicious, authentic Chinese food that goes back millennia.
Of course, it couldn't have gone out of business, right?
Panda Express locations can't possibly go out of business.
And they have not gone out of business.
They have just closed because they don't have any employees.
What?
They can't staff the restaurant.
Not even two guys?
I mean, two people?
One person running the register and one person at the window?
We don't even have that.
Does someone have to cook the food in your scenario?
I think somebody does.
I thought that was already pre-made.
No.
It's authentic.
It goes back millennium.
But it's interesting.
So three.
They have a sign-up that says temporarily closed due to staffing issues.
So they can't even open the restaurant.
I went to a sports bar.
This is going back a couple of months.
A sports bar.
Now, what is a sports bar for?
Usually you go there, you drink beer, you watch sports.
You may order some wings or nachos or whatever, right?
Those are evening activities, right?
They are.
Right?
Like the games come on at seven or eight o'clock at night.
Well, I thought we were supposed to have a problem if you were at a bar at noon.
Right.
Apparently not.
But the sports bar closed at 9 p.m. because they couldn't get employees to work two shifts.
So they were all working from like the beginning of lunch till whatever, 10 o'clock at night, you know, and they just.
Nobody wanted to work the night's show.
They didn't have enough people to open the restaurant.
That is happening.
There's a Chick-fil-A location near us that has only the drive-through open because they don't have enough people to open up the inside of the restaurant.
It's not COVID-related.
It's not like everyone's necessarily sick, although that is part of it.
Part of it is the economy where they can't get people to come in and take jobs that we used to always be able to fill.
I thought it was still kind of COVID-related for the lobbies.
There's a Chick-fil-A that I pass by from time to time.
And I mean, they bring it out to you and it's a drive-thru.
So, I mean, I feel like those are the same people that would be waiting on you in the lobby, right?
If you were if you, if they opened up the local businesses.
Well, there's more.
Right.
Opening up the lobby, though, you've got people who need to clean.
You've got, you know, tables need to be washed down.
There's other, you know, garbages need to be cleaned out.
There's more responsibility there.
And I think that they're so lightly staffed, they don't want to take it on.
And of course, places have been pretty innovative with this stuff, which is kind of cool.
But it does kind of go to this like bottom line here where you have this weird intersection of literally every person on earth being sick right now and nobody wanting to work.
Personal Responsibility in Pandemic00:11:04
And they said November was the highest number in history, in U.S. history for people quitting their jobs.
And some of that is good if you happen to be out in the job market right now and you're looking for a job.
I have a friend who, you know, he was working at a place.
He quit his job over the mask mandate they had at his job.
He was like, I am not wearing a mask anymore.
I'm sick of this.
I've been doing it for too long.
Screw you.
I don't know how you do it.
I don't know how some of the people do it in those places where they wear it all day long.
All day long?
I don't know.
I don't know that I could do that.
And as you see, the people who get to wear the masks all day long are the peons that Nancy Pelosi walks by without a mask.
Whoever's at the fancy dinner party, they get to have no mask on while all the people serving them the expensive food.
They're all wearing the masks, which makes complete and total sense.
I did see, and I don't know if this is true.
The internet occasionally gives us some misleading pictures, but I saw a picture of one of these.
It looked like it was true.
It came from a college football game over the holidays, and it was a band, and they're playing all their wind instruments blowing into their saxophones with masks on with a hole in the mask so that they could blow into the saxophone.
I did see several pictures like that.
How is that on the internet?
How on earth could anyone think that's sane?
We live in insane times.
Well, that's no question.
We live in insane times.
We most definitely do.
And it does seem like putting a hole in the mask to blow your wind instrument is counterproductive.
It does seem that way, but let me make the argument for it here.
Because putting a mask on outdoors has no science behind it whatsoever.
The New York Times.
You wouldn't know that to look around.
Yeah, no, it's true because you go, depending on where you live, if you live in a blue state somewhere, you probably walk around and see people outside all the time with masks on.
Now, the New York Times has written this, and it's the typical place I quote it, but there's no disagreement with this.
There has never, ever in the entire history of the pandemic been a recorded case of outdoor transmission outside of close conversation.
None.
Not one since the beginning of the pandemic.
This is not.
Yeah, but are you counting everything?
Everything.
I mean, everything.
Since day one.
Since they started welding people into apartments in Wuhan.
Right.
No outdoor cases of transmission since the beginning of the pandemic outside of, you know, I mean, I guess you make out with a bunch of people at a party that's outdoors.
You could probably pass it.
But close conversation is the only exception to that.
So if you're out, you know, at a, even at a sporting event, there doesn't seem to be any record of some super spreader event that has occurred in that scenario.
Now, as you may know, you go to a sporting event.
What do you do afterward?
A lot of times you go into bars nearby that are indoors and that stuff.
We've had lots of spread indoors, but outdoors seems to be a nice, it's a safe space.
It is a safe space.
It's supposed to be.
Now, yet that does not stop blue city after blue city and blue state after blue state from mandating masks outdoors, from stopping people from, there was a, one country's stopping people from walking their dogs overnight.
From 10 to 6, you're not allowed to walk your dog.
Can't go out, can't do anything.
Which the one time you'd want people out is the time when people aren't, when it's not going to be crowded, right?
If there was a chance of transmission outdoors, which by the way, let me say again, there is not.
But if there was a chance, then you'd want people to spread out and go out at three in the morning and walk their dogs.
It's amazing to me that this is still happening.
It is.
I mean, we're two years into this now.
Yeah.
Two years deep.
This is year three of the 15 days to stop the spread.
And we are, I mean, we had people in places in the beginning that were having curfews and lockdowns.
And we had, you know, you see the guy, I remember, I remember my favorite guy in France during the curfew and he couldn't walk is you, they were allowing people to go out and walk their animals.
They were allowing you out during the day to walk your animals for like 15 minutes or something like that.
Then you had to get back in.
And the guy was out walking his fish.
You know, he was out walking his fish.
So he was saying, I got to get outside.
And the police were giving him a hard time.
I remember seeing them, you know, giving him a hard time because they were saying that you're not walking.
Fish need their exercise.
I agree.
I agree.
I just did a story this morning on Pat Unleashed during my Chewing the Fat segment where scientists in Israel have now taught goldfish to drive.
I mean, it's fast.
I mean, why you want to do that?
I don't know.
Money, maybe?
That's it.
But I don't know what good goldfish driving does for the world.
It is the beginning of a sci-fi movie where the goldfish take over.
I'll tell you that.
That's scene one in that film.
But again, that was during the beginning of when we didn't know anything.
Right.
This is what's so frustrating.
I think, you know, we're seeing now Omicron, and we're going to go through some of this here in a minute.
We have the studies from South Africa and the UK.
We'll go through some of the details here.
But we're seeing Omicron break through, not just vaccine immunity, but natural immunity.
I mean, it's going through everything.
It's busting through everything.
It's definitely going through your cloth mask.
That is something like the masks have always been an ineffective tool.
There are some studies where you can find slight benefits in certain circumstances from masks.
Cloth masks, not really much.
The experts have pretty much admitted that.
Yeah, with the water mask.
They've wiped out.
With Omicron, they're saying, okay.
Yet if you watch.
You watch the news.
They say, well, we know what we have to do.
We just got to, we got to wash our hands.
We got to mask up and get vaccinated.
It's like, all right, well, the vaccine is, we can go through the details of that.
That's there in the study.
We'll get to that in a second.
But hand washing, we know that is not how this is transmitted.
Now, should you wash your hands?
Sure.
Because if you don't, you're gross.
Okay.
It's got nothing to do with Omicron.
I just find you personally repulsive if you don't do it.
20 seconds, man.
You should just do it.
Okay.
You know, I just got an Apple Watch and they actually have a feature on there that's turned on by default for hand washing.
Well, that's good.
And it tells you how long you're supposed to be washing your hands as if as adults we can't figure this out.
You didn't wash your hands long enough.
Yes.
So, by the way, I turned that feature off.
I can figure that one out on my own.
I know how to sing happy birthday twice.
But like, we know that is not how transmission happens.
We know all the obsessive cleaning around gyms and movie theaters.
This is not how transmission happens.
We know that cloth masks are not effective, especially against Omicron.
I mean, if you wanted to make the case back in the day, well, you know, when we didn't know a lot against Omicron, come on.
We all know this is breaking through every level of defense.
So a lot of the media now are starting to spread their cloth mask along with the medical mask.
Right.
Now, you want to do an N95 mask?
I don't think even the medical mask is going to do much against Omicron, but maybe.
You want to do the N95?
I think you can get some protection out of that.
Some protection, sure.
But you know what?
That's you protecting you.
You don't have to worry about us yokels that aren't wearing masks.
If you happen to be in a blue city and you're thinking to yourself, I just can't believe these Fox News and talk radio viewers who will not put on their bandanas to protect me.
You can protect yourself with a good mask.
Buy the N95 mask, slap the thing on your face.
I won't mind not talking to you for the entire time.
Go through your little grocery store.
Don't talk to anyone because that can help spread droplets.
Just walk through and leave everybody else alone.
Yelling at the people that aren't wearing masks is a good way to spread the virus, by the way.
So go wear a mask that protects you.
Stop worrying about what everybody else does.
That's where we are in the pandemic.
We're beyond the level where any of this is sane.
There are lots of treatments.
There are lots of things you can do.
You can choose to do them.
You can choose not to do them.
At this point, that is on you.
And that's how America was built, right?
People taking responsibility for their own actions.
And this is not a collectivist society.
You're not going to get everyone to agree with you on what steps you're going to take.
So take the steps you believe are the right ones to take in your life to protect.
That's something we've been preaching from the beginning of time and the pandemic.
Yeah.
Period.
It fits for a lot of things, doesn't it?
It's not just Omicron related.
It's everything related.
I'm going to take a quick break and come back with more on this.
If you're like me, there's not much that you see that the left is willing to do that surprises you.
It's also not surprising that there are a lot of big businesses out there that support them because, you know, we know that.
This is where these businesses seem to gravitate.
They always gravitate to the crazy left-wing cause.
If you're getting your cell phone coverage through one of the big mobile companies, you're probably paying too much for it, first of all.
But more importantly, it's really possible that some of the money you're paying goes to leftist causes like Planned Parenthood.
If you like that, okay.
And that's not, you know, it's your decision.
But it's also your decision to switch to Patriot Mobile because Patriot Mobile is the only company in America.

10 seconds station id all right glenn beck is out We don't know, by the way, if he has the Omicron.
We have no evidence that he has the Omicron.
So he could just be sick.
Just Being Sick Is Back00:03:33
I will say that's returned now.
Just being sick?
Just being sick is a thing again.
Okay.
You know, some people have allergies.
Some people get colds.
Some people get the flu.
The flu is back, which is interesting because there was kind of a debate as to what made the flu go away.
And I was interested to see how this flu season would play out because there's one side of the argument that said, hey, look, the reason the flu went away is because none of us were near each other for a year.
We cut down the amount of people we interacted with by, I don't know, 80% for a year and it dropped through the floor.
And while a more contagious virus like COVID still survived through that, the flu didn't.
And so it kind of went away for a year.
The other side of this was, hey, there's something called viral competition where a couple of viruses, I mean, you know this, Jeffy, is in your body.
There's a bunch of viruses constantly fighting out.
A bunch of sexually transmitted diseases.
He's been bambling for a long time.
I am aware of that.
There's a long stalemate going on inside of Jeffy's body.
You know, various drugs, various viruses, bacteria, all sorts of things.
And Jeffy only stays alive because they fought to a stalemate.
So eventually, if one of them wins, he's in big trouble.
But, you know, you have that competition where a virus like COVID pushes the flu out.
Now, obviously, COVID is still very active and we are seeing the flu rise back up.
And we've had a huge change in behavior over the past year.
We complain about this a lot, rightfully so.
But we have seen a huge change in the way people act, right?
People have, they're going out more.
They're doing more things.
We see a lot of people who are insane on the internet who are not.
But I mean, generally speaking, like I was in Florida.
Now, this is Florida.
But I stayed at a hotel that a year ago in Florida was closed, literally closed for New Year's a year ago.
I stayed there this past year.
You know, we, I went last year's trip to Florida, they had no fans inside the stadiums.
The Super Bowl only had 11,000 fans in Florida.
And Ron DeSantis is Florida, only 11,000 fans.
Last Super Bowl, this one's going to be packed in California.
I mean, things have changed and they've, they've, you know, people are more aggressive with going out and doing things, which is great.
I think the market is solving this problem.
You know, you get people on TV telling you to wear a mask and never go outside, but even liberals are sick of it.
They want to have, they want to go to restaurants.
They want to go to bar.
They want to go to sporting events.
They want to go to movies.
We'll have more on the details of these studies from South Africa and the UK coming up in just a second.
The Glenn Bach program.
All right, so it's the new year, and this is the one, right?
The year we're all going to stick to whatever we promised ourselves we're going to do.
This is it.
Yeah.
This is the year.
I'm going to super model quality for me coming very soon.
I mean, you want to talk about, I'm going to be perfect shape.
That's all coming right around the corner.

Tonight is Glenn's big interview with Donald Trump.
You don't want to miss that.
Tonight, blazetv.com slash Glenn.
Welcome to January 6th Eve.
Have you put your January 6th tree up yet?
Because we've got a new national holiday in this country, at least for half of it, January 6th.
The left loves it, loves talking about it, thinks it's the most important thing since the Civil War.
It is the day democracy almost died.
No, didn't die.
They finished everything up that same day.
It was a look.
I am not going to make any excuses for what happened on January 6th.
I think it sucked.
And the people who were beating police officers over the head with polls should be in prison.
I have no problem with that.
However, what the left has decided to do with this and turn it into this ridiculous national holiday of celebration where they get to say that they've never done anything wrong.
There's never been, certainly they've never shot up a baseball field full of Republicans.
That's never occurred.
Ever.
Yeah.
Look, insane people in every movement exist.
And there were some people who went into the, even went into the Capitol that were just, you know, people who maybe made mistakes, maybe, you know, got caught up in a moment.
And then there were some people who were, you know, really bad there.
And we've seen some of that.
You know, so you can see, look, hitting, you know, I don't care about politics when it comes to beating a police officer over the head.
I've had police officers in my family, and you know, you think that's an appropriate action to take?
You know, screw you.
I have no sympathy for someone who's done that.
That being said, what the left has tried to do with this is what has been frustrating over the past year.
We'll have, I think the president is giving, you know, the day the democracy almost died speech, and we're going to do it's going to be, you can quote me on that.
It's interesting, too, the timing of Glenn's interview with Donald Trump and the release of it.
Now, this is something he recorded right before the holidays.
And he was in at Mar-a-Lago.
They did the interview.
And it was, you know, a lot of interesting stuff.
And we've played a couple clips right before the holidays, but the interview comes out tonight, 9 p.m. P.M. Eastern, blazetv.com slash Glenn.
If you go there tonight, you'll see this.
And I want to just give you, I hate to, you don't want to ruin an interview by giving out too much information.
You don't want to, you don't want to give the end to a movie before people get to go see it.
Some people.
But I will.
You don't want to do that.
Right.
Well, you do.
Glenn definitely does.
Glenn loves to ruin movies.
But let me give you this one little spoiler here.
He doesn't ask him about January 6th.
What?
And I know the media is going to get all fired up about that.
They're going to say how they had the president of the United States on that's airing in the week of January 6th, and they didn't even ask about it.
No mention about the insurrection.
And that was a very intentional choice by Glenn because he said this on the air before the interview even started.
He wants it to be about the future, not the past.
And we can go back and rehash every little scandal or back and forth that happened with the media during Trump's presidency.
We can do all that.
We can talk about, you know, it wouldn't have been crazy for him to ask about January 6th, but everyone is talking about that all the time.
And I believe the president, former president, is going to be making some sort of statement as well about January 6th.
Yeah, I think he was, and he was supposed to, there was some event that he canceled, actually.
So I don't, I mean, obviously he'll probably make a statement.
I'm sure.
He likes making them.
So you may, and you've heard Donald Trump talk about that a hundred times.
What about the issues that are facing us now?
You know, it's great.
It's a great little window for the left right now to be able to talk about something like January 6th because they don't have to talk about all the days that have occurred since January 20th, which is President Biden running the country into the ground.
And, you know, it's hard.
We're going to get into the election stuff here in a little bit as well.
Kind of a little look ahead to the midterms.
It's hard to win midterm elections when you have a president who isn't incoherent.
Like when you have a good president, it's hard to win midterm elections for your party.
What has happened with Biden from everything from Afghanistan to the economy to inflation to I'm going to crush this virus.
I'm going to end the virus.
Nobody with 220,000 deaths on their toll should be allowed to be president.
That's crazy.
Now he's got 420,000 deaths on his register by that logic.
He shouldn't be president a couple of times, I guess, when it comes to.
Which I'm okay with, by the way.
This is a rule I'm willing to implement right now, at least.
So all of this is adding up to a real disaster for them in the midterms.
And I was reminded that he also, just another thing that he promised that hasn't happened yet, is he promised to cure cancer.
And I want that.
I want that done.
I'm going to go ahead and demand that.
Is it cured yet?
Can we check?
Make a phone call.
It's funny you mentioned that.
I'm actually working on something related to that.
We have to get into that maybe a little bit later.
But I want to make sure you know about this.
9 p.m. Eastern, blazetv.com slash Glenn, the January 6th distraction.
Glenn and former President Trump discuss overcoming America's real challenges, those things that we were talking about, inflation, the economy, how we're going forward, what is the correct message the American people need to hear right now.
It's all going to be on with Glenn and former President Trump tonight on Blaze TV.
So we were talking a little bit about the cron, the Omicron, Omicron, and everything that is going on.
It seems like everybody on earth is sick right now.
Yes.
Glenn is out.
We don't think it's the Quran, but I don't know if he's been tested yet.
And we're going to find him.
I guess we'll know that maybe soon.
But I know I've had relatives.
I've seen businesses closing.
And we hit a million cases in a day, which is an all-time high, not only for the United States, but in theory, the world.
Now, that is a ridiculous statistic.
Very misleading.
It's totally misleading because of, like, look, India is not testing at the levels that would allow them to beat that record, right?
A place like India with so many more people, surely during their terrible Delta outbreak, had way more cases than that.
But, you know, officially, we know China as well.
Absolutely.
The peak of it, China was still saying, yeah, well, we had one today.
Yeah.
Oh, okay.
One case.
One case.
So we know it's not a real record, and we know that number is obviously an undercount as well, as far as lots of people are now taking home tests and not reporting them.
You can get them.
They're a little hard to get.
Yeah, but people are doing that more than they used to.
As well as there's a lot of asymptomatic cases that people don't even know they have.
And that's been something that's gone on since the beginning of the pandemic.
But officially, the statistic is the highest ever.
And it does seem like Omicron is living up to the billing as incredibly easy to pass.
Yes.
That does seem to be real.
We've had a lot of hype over these variants.
You know, if you remember, the Epsilon variant didn't do anything.
No, it didn't.
Delta lived up to that hype a little bit in one way.
And Omicron is living up to the hype in this sort of outbreak right now.
I do expect over the next couple of weeks, we're going to have ridiculously high case totals.
We're going to have probably hospitalizations and deaths rise, but not nearly to the level.
If you look at the charts that are happening, New York was one of the first places where we saw an Omicron outbreak.
The line for cases is through the roof.
The line for hospitalizations is up slightly.
The lines for deaths are flat or down.
Yeah.
So that's the hype on Omicron was it's really easy to pass and it's maybe a little bit less virulent, a little less awful than the previous variants.
That does seem to be holding up to be true.
And that's a really good thing.
But that doesn't mean because the numbers are so high, we'll probably still see a rise here over the next few weeks.
They believe this whole thing should be over by the end of the month or at least the end of next month at the latest.
And they're talking about new variants now, but again, these variants might fade out quickly.
And they're talking also about, well, I called it Fluvicron, but it's Flubicron, but it's actually Florona.
Flurona.
What is Flurona?
Flu plus coronavirus.
Getting it at the same time.
Or is it they've now like they're having a family?
It's a mixed family.
It is.
You know, the flu.
They met at a bar, the coronavirus and the flu.
Hey.
Had a hookup.
You're looking pretty good over there.
Yeah.
Ooh, Rona.
Why don't you come on over this way?
And then we had florona.
That's how it happens, boys and girls.
The birds and the bees in action.
So let me give you what we do know, at least the best, as close as we know for Omicron.
Now, this is, of course, we had earlier outbreaks in South Africa and the UK.
So there's been a lot of studies there.
Let me give you some of these quotes.
I would say all of this sounds like pretty good news overall.
That doesn't mean the next couple of weeks might be rough, but overall, this seems like good news to give you the summary.
An individual with Omicron is estimated to be between 31 and 45% less likely to attend A ⁇ E, which is the British emergency room ER, compared to Delta, and 50 to 70% less likely to be admitted to the hospital.
So good news.
Yes, absolutely.
When the reduced risk of hospitalization was combined with vaccine effectiveness against symptomatic disease, the vaccine effectiveness against hospitalization was estimated as, I'll give you all the different dose levels, 52% effective with one dose, 72% effective with two doses if it's recent, so two to 24 weeks old, right?
So it goes up to 72%.
If it's an older dose, like if you had it, you know, six months ago, it drops down to 52% effective if you've had the full with where we're at now, the way that the vaccines are, you know, waning as, you know, 50% still pretty good.
It's still something with if you're in a sixth to eight month window.
Yeah.
And like, look, there's a lot of, there's some people who, you know, don't want the vaccine, didn't take the vaccine, and that should be your choice.
We've talked about how bad these mandates are over and over and over again.
The overwhelming population of the country, now we're at over 80 some odd percent, has had at least one dose of this vaccine.
So I think a lot of people, even if they think Fauci's annoying and Biden's annoying, may have already previously had the vaccine.
We know President Trump, who's on with Glenn tonight, has had the vaccine and he's been boosted.
And I thought we were over.
I thought we were done with the pandemic of the unvaccinated, but I still trotting that out.
The president trotted it out the other day.
They're still trotting it out, which is like, by the way, if you with the booster, it's 88%.
So 52% one dose, 72% with two doses that are recent, 52% with two doses that might have been in the past, and then 88% on the booster.
So that's what the UK study is showing.
South Africa showed pretty similar things.
These results are consistent with Omicron displacing the Delta variant.
We're already seeing Omicron being the dominant variant here in the United States.
Because they were talking about many of the people that were still in the hospital were Delta.
Yeah.
You know, we're getting the big numbers increasing Omicron.
Yeah.
But the hospitalizations, while was being linked to Omicron, were still Delta.
Yeah, that does seem to be a lot of this.
And one of the questions was, it doesn't seem like a previous affection with the old school Wuhan strain or the beta virus or the Delta, any of those doesn't seem like it protected you against Omicron.
However, it looks like the reverse is true, which is really good.
If you get a mild Omicron infection, it seems to protect you against the other variants.
And that's what the South African study showed.
They said these results are consistent with Omicron displacing the Delta variant since it can elicit immunity, which neutralizes Delta, making reinfection with Delta less likely.
The team of scientists in Africa wrote, if Omicron displaces Delta and proves more mild than past variants, the incidence of COVID-19 severe disease would be reduced and the infection may shift to becoming less disruptive to individuals and society.
Now, look, we, I think as people on the right, look at this and say, we got to live our lives.
We've got to figure out how to get through this.
And, you know, you're going to have some risk and you can't eliminate all that risk.
You know, if you're a business owner, it's important to you that liberals also come back to your business, right?
You would think that.
Yeah.
You definitely would think so.
They might be annoying while they're in your business, but you'd need their money.
So that's funny.
The banks don't ask.
Did this come from a progressive?
No.
They just want their money.
And if you own a bar, you don't want it to be half-filled.
You want people to be in there.
And so you need everybody out back in society.
So this is good, even if this lesson doesn't necessarily matter to you.
The study found, this is the South African study again.
Study found that the vaccine from Pfizer and BioNTech provided just 33% protection against infection.
So it's not doing a great job anymore as protecting you from infection.
It's doing something.
33% is compared to someone who's unvaccinated.
That's the double, that's two shots of the Pfizer.
Yes.
I mean, fully vaccinated.
Fully vaccinated.
So you're getting some level of protection, though not great protection against the infection.
However, the vaccine offers 70% protection in this study being hospitalized with Omicron.
So if you put that together with the previous results, they're going to come out about the same because you get about 33% less chance of getting infected.
But if you get infected, you got about a 70% chance of going to the hospital.
The bottom line is, this is good.
Omicron is going to be rough over the next couple of weeks because it's so infectious and so many people are going to have it.
So a smaller percentage of a big number is still a big number.
But once this thing passes, it may give us the type of thing that we've talked about for a long time.
Enough immunity to push off the severe disease and enough of a positive change that we can get back to normal life.

The Glenn Beck Program.
So many people now getting hit by Omicron.
Glenn is out sick.
We don't think it's Omicron, but I don't know.
We don't know, Stu.
We don't know.
I know several people who had COVID previously who are back in the COVID world because of the cron.
People, it's going through a lot of people who are vaccinated.
Obviously, that's been kind of widely reported.
A lot of people who had Omicron previously with natural immunity, they're getting it.
People who didn't have it at all, they're getting it.
Everyone believe in health, Stu.
That's why I work out every day, eat healthy.
You haven't had, have you had it at all this entire time?
You're the least healthy person in the world.
How on earth are you the one person who's avoided this?
Oh, no.
I think your body has such immunity built up to everything at this point.
Good.
Thank you.
The one benefit of being Jeffy, you've had every illness so many times, nothing can penetrate.
All right, 888-727-BECK is the phone number.
Back with more in just a second.
Thank you, Hillary.
It is Stu and Jeffy in for Glen Beck, who is out sick today.
It seems like everybody in this office is out sick currently.
At least the important people.
We're still here, of course.
Thank you.
Thank you.
The worker bees.
The worker bees.
The minor.
The essential employees, Jeffy.
Thank you.
I think that's probably my main accomplishment in life from the beginning to the end is going to be I was an essential employee.
And I thought to myself, actually, like what I do is of incredibly low value.
Why would I be an essential employee?
You know, I mean, I used to think that guy's got all the keys.
So exactly.
So we came to work throughout the entire pandemic.
You were out for a middle.
Yeah, I had to stay home for a while.
I was mandated, mandated.
I will say, you are a you want to talk about vulnerable to COVID.
Like you are COVID's favorite person.
It's looking all over for you.
My friend.
I'm laughing in the face.
I got to be careful.
I know, don't.
Not now.
I know.
I'm in the Omicron room.
I know.
This is crazy right now, but everyone seems to have it.
And you already have, you have it right now.
Just admit it to yourself.
It's in there.
It's infested.
It's doing something in there.
We'll get into it.
We've got some election stuff coming up here in just a second.
forward to the midterms here on the Glenn Beck Program.
What you are about to hear is the fusion of entertainment and enlightenment.
This is the Glenn Beck program.
It's Stu and Jeff Fisher in for Glen Beck today.
Why?
He is out sick.
He made it through two full days of the new year.
I was impressed he made it today too, honestly.
He's got a big interview with Donald Trump, though, that's going to air on Blaze TV tonight.
We'll give you a clip of that coming up in a little bit.
Donald Trump asked about Anthony Fauci.
A very interesting answer.
We've got that.
And we've got what is the picture of the midterm election?
What is it looking like here as we start, really, this cycle begins this week as people start thinking, oh my gosh, this is happening.
What are we looking forward to here?
We'll have a picture for you on that one coming up, triple 8, 727, BECK.
starts in 60 seconds so you and i know all too well that the time for to prepare for bad times is typically during good times If you can get prepared during the good times, well, guess what?
The bad times aren't quite as bad.
We are in the middle of God only knows what.
I mean, you look at your grocery store shelves.
Sometimes they're empty because people don't show up to work.
Sometimes they're empty because they can't find people to work.
Sometimes they're empty because of the supply chain.
Sometimes they're empty because of a pandemic.
It seems like that is something we are dealing with more and more recently.
You should be prepared because even the next couple of weeks could be rough.
And it's important to make sure that you are always prepared for what might happen.
That's why my Patriot Supply is so important.
We've talked about preparedness on this program for such a long time.
Their food lasts for 25 years in storage.
So you do this once and you get it out of the way.
It also tastes great.
So you don't have to worry about, you know, shoveling sawdust down your throat in an emergency.
Wouldn't it be nice if you happen to be, I don't know, on I-95 over the past couple of days, wouldn't it be nice to have some actual food in your car?
Maybe, you know, you have a bag of some supplies in your car.
That wouldn't be great in that circumstance.
I think you're supposed to do that if you're prepared.
Right now, you can save $50 on a four-week emergency food kit, which is the most popular thing My Patriot Supply has.
It kind of knocks out all of the most basic emergencies, plus, you know, some of the really bad ones.
It's not going to stop the zombie apocalypse, but other than that, four weeks should cover you.
It's packed with over 2,000 calories a day, ensuring that you and your family will be able to maintain a healthy diet even when something disastrous goes down.
Every family in America should have some food set aside, and My Patriot Supply is the great place to go to get it.
So go to preparewithglenn.com, preparewithglenn.com, save 50 bucks on your four-week food kit.
Don't put it off.
Preparewithglenn.com.
It's preparewithglenn.com.
Tonight on Glenn TV, the far left and mainstream media believe this week's biggest story is the anniversary of the January 6th riot.
But there are far more important crises facing the everyday American.
Glenn sits down with President Trump in a one-on-one interview to discuss what's coming next from the economy.
When I left, it was $1.87 a gallon to COVID.
Can we turn this around?
Yeah.
Quickly.
The January 6th Distraction.
Glenn and President Trump on overcoming America's real challenges.
Tonight, 9 p.m. Eastern at Blazetv.com.
It's a big one.
Glenn interviewing President Trump Mar-a-Lago, the location for that one.
So it's going to be pretty interesting coming up tonight.
It's a big one.
And looking forward, it's not talking about January 6th.
Talk about going forward, looking forward, what's to come.
And we'll get into that because we're talking about going forward.
I mean, he just mentioned in that clip, gas was 187 when he left.
Maybe we should go back to that.
Going forward.
Yeah.
Wouldn't it be nice to go 187?
Remember those days?
I do.
I do remember those days.
That's incredible.
It sure is.
I mean, I remember the beginning of the pandemic was, I mean, so much deeper than that, obviously.
But I remember in the heat of the pandemic, driving by to come into the studios as an essential employee at the time, how low it was.
I mean, it was down into the 140s, I think, or 130s.
I just remember looking going, I got to fill up.
Where are you going to go?
Yeah, I don't know.
No place to go.
I will say, you know, a lot of people would say that Donald Trump did a terrible job through the pandemic.
You know, a lot of the, watch the media.
They tell you this all the time.
Thank you.
He did a terrible job.
And we needed a real adult to come in and take control and say what needs to be done to solve this problem.
We need someone who's going to not shut down the country.
We need someone who's going to shut down the virus.
Thank you.
That's what we needed.
And that's what we got in President Senile Joe Biden.
Wow.
Now, this is why we have a t-shirt at stewdoesmerch.com called Senility Now, because it would be great to have some senility back in the White House.
But I want to give you this because President Biden stepped in yesterday and he wanted to let you know he understands the cron is here.
Omicron is here.
The Fluorona is coming.
He's on top of this and he wants you to know how to solve this problem.
He's got a great idea and I want you to listen closely to it.
In the last two weeks, we've stood up federal testing sites all over the country.
We're adding more each and every day.
Google, quote, COVID test near me.
Go there.
Google COVID test near me on Google to find the nearest site where you can get a test most often and free.
Now, that is great.
Why couldn't Donald Trump just have said that in March 2020?
He just would have had the bravery and the mortal sort of turpitude to be able to step in and say, you know what?
Let me give you that again because you may have missed it.
Here we go.
In the last two you weeks, We've stood up federal testing sites.
Now, what does that mean exactly?
They've stood up.
They've stood them up.
I guess they were on the ground.
Maybe they blew over in a storm.
They stood them back up.
The federal testing sites are now stood up.
It used to be that if you stood up someone, you didn't show up.
That used to be, but that's not the case here.
He stood them up.
Now, all you have to do, ladies and gentlemen, is Google, quote, COVID tests near me.
Now, what's fascinating about that is he did the, he literally did the anchorman thing there, where he saw the quote on there.
Right.
And it just said on the prompter, it says, you know, COVID test near me.
And he saw the quote.
So he said the quotation mark.
Okay.
So Google, quote, COVID tests near me.
Go there, Google, excuse me, COVID, tests near me on Google to find the nearest site.
It seems a little wordy.
Where you can get a test most often.
So you get them like, it's like just going in four, five, six times a day.
Where can you get a test most often?
All you got to do is Google, excuse me, COVID tests near me on Google.
You know, it sounds like that's coming from someone that's never used Google in his life.
Because it doesn't seem like, I mean, that's that big a deal.
Just, I mean, I know that the generic, just Google it.
Right.
Google COVID test.
Let's Google.
Type in COVID test.
It'll come up.
Everyone who Google knows where you're at.
That's what they do.
Yeah, that is what they do.
But again, like everyone who would do that knows how to figure out information on the internet.
Google the thing that you want.
Thank you.
This is 2022.
Yes.
But can you, I want to take you back to 2020 in March.
If Donald Trump came up in front of the United States and said, hey, just Google, I don't know.
You want to find a test?
Google it.
Google COVID test.
No central place to find this information.
No fancy website.
I don't know.
Google things.
What do you want?
Google them.
Now, the media would have blasted him for that.
Absolutely.
Saying, oh, you want people to go Google where to find a test?
This is disgraceful.
We are two years into this.
The Biden administration has done a terrible job in providing data on COVID.
They've done a terrible job in getting testing going.
There were multiple stupid administration type of things, administrative things that they could have done as far as classification for tests to make them cheaper and more easily available.
Not Just a Meat Problem00:06:27
They didn't do those things.
They've waited far too long.
They said they were going to end the virus.
As we know, that has not occurred.
He said we were in the moment of independence back in July.
That has not occurred.
This has been a complete and total failure from the main promise this man made before coming in.
Now, he didn't promise he was going to destroy Afghanistan, too, but he pulled that one off.
Well, he threw that in.
He didn't promise he was going to ramp up inflation.
Another one.
He just throws that one in as a bonus.
Yesterday, he's talking about, you know what, meat prices are going through the roof.
We don't have that meat price quote by any chance.
I hope we do.
I mean, the guy, come on.
I was talking to a friend.
No, a friend, a friend of Jill's.
We do have it.
Okay, good.
Here it is.
Here's what Joe.
And I was just, I was telling my colleagues earlier in my office that I was sitting in my kitchen yesterday, and there's a sunroom off the kitchen.
And my wife was there with her sister and a good friend named Mary Ann.
And she was saying, do you realize it's over $5 for a pound of hamburger meat?
$5?
Well, this is partly, you know, the pound of beef today costs $5 compared to less than $4 before the pandemic.
Now, first of all, what an amazing storyteller.
I was on the edge of my seat listening to that story unfold.
It was almost M. Night Shyamalan-esque.
That incredible twist at the end where he didn't fall asleep.
I was expecting it the whole time, and it didn't happen.
So that's great.
And then, of course, the solution here is to blame big business, which is what they do on every issue and always have.
Big businesses, they suddenly get greedy when Democrats are presidents.
You know what I mean?
They suddenly decide they're going to exploit the people.
It's always blaming big business.
He had them in there, right?
He brought in big meat.
Right.
It's big meat, and big meat is the big problem.
And like this, not that there's obviously more competition is always better, but this is a typical Democratic response.
In addition to that, you have a situation where he is so disengaged with what is happening in the world.
He has no idea that this is not just meat.
This isn't just a meat problem.
That's part of the problem, but it's not a meat problem.
And we've been talking about this for how long now?
And he's just now getting around to it.
Hamburg, big beef.
And solely because he's realizing it's a political problem going into the election.
Now, of course, their solution is to spend yet another billion dollars on this problem to, I don't know, prop up other meat.
I don't know what he's even attempting here.
It's nonsense.
And of course, his solution to inflation is more spending.
Now, this is like saying your solution to a cocaine addiction is more cocaine.
I will say that Some people may have used that substance plan in the past.
How did it do long-term?
Was it a long-term solution?
Yes, it'll get you through the night, but it is a long-term solution.
It is not a long-term solution.
It is not.
Nor is spending your way out of inflation.
I want to come back and give you one of the reasons he's addressing this, and it's because he's got a calendar.
He's got pollsters.
He realizes they are in severe trouble heading into this election.
I want to give you this picture, along with a historic picture, of what he's up against here.
I mean, usually we're used to sharing bad news on elections here on this program because it just always feels like things go.
It sure does.
We can't have nice things.
But only the Republicans could blow this one this year.
If they blow this, they're the only group of people capable of blowing this election.
We will give you the details coming up in just a second.
Yesterday, we talked about Glenn's painting of Joe Lewis, and it's really cool.
If you got to go to his Instagram page and see it, I hate admitting this, but Glenn seems to be a very talented painter.
He's been practicing.
It's annoying, though.
I don't want him to be talented at anything.
He's already in the Radio Hall of Fame.
That's already gone to his head.
He's welcome.
Yeah, that was us.
That was our obviously.
We're really the people who made that happen.
Now, Glenn used to paint, and he was not all that good at it, partially because he couldn't do it for a long time.
He was in a lot of pain as he was trying to paint.
Relief Factor was created by doctors to help your body reduce inflammation, and he got his hands on this.
Mainly, Tanya told him to take it because she was tired of hearing her husband yapping all the time about, you know, Glenn's a whiner.
He's right now he's home.
He's like, honey, I've got a stuffy nose.
Please come rescue me.
Relief Factor is not going to cure your stuffy nose, but it can help you with your inflammation.
And it's helped Glenn quite a bit.
The three-week quick start they have going on.
It's developed for you only $19.95, a buck a day.
It's like a trial pack.
Hundreds of thousands of people have ordered Relief Factor, and about 70% of them go on to order more.
Says quite a bit.
Go to relieffactor.com or call them 800 for relief.
Get the 1995 three-week quick start developed for you right now, relieffactor.com or call them at 800, the number four, relief.
Relief Factor.
Feel the difference.
10 seconds station id it's stew oh of course on this radio program every single day but also host of stew does america It airs on Blaze TV at 8 p.m.
That's going to be right before Glenn's big interview with Donald Trump tonight.
That is 9 p.m. Eastern on blazetv.com slash Glenn.
Promo clip Glenn will save you 10 bucks.
And I'm here with Jeff Fisher.
He's the host of the podcast you can get every day for free called Chewing the Fat.
That's a very interesting name for a very in-shape individual.
Thank you.
Chewing the Fat with Jeff Fisher.
Make sure you listen to that one.
Every day, health.
Yeah, go and subscribe to all the podcasts.
We'd really appreciate it.
Shaming People for Getting COVID00:03:26
And it helps us push back the sort of big tech algorithm.
But even if you don't do all of them, I mean, do chewing the fat.
You could do that.
That is an option.
I will agree with you.
Let's talk about the midterms here.
If you are a good, competent, popular, successful president, it is hard to win midterm elections after you've just been elected.
That second year, man, is tough for anybody.
Right.
Because there's always a group of people who voted for you and then are disappointed.
It's almost impossible to keep everybody happy.
You have a president who always goes in to win an election with massive promises.
I'm going to end the virus.
And then is not able to actually achieve them.
So a lot of people say, gosh, you burned me.
I'm pissed off and I'm going the other direction.
I want to see what these guys can do.
So you see this happen over and over again.
That's if you're a good president.
What Joe Biden is doing, he's one of the most unpopular presidents in U.S. history at this time.
Just tanking every day.
We have a new poll out today about how unpopular he is, his economic polling.
It's now not just the border, which has been a catastrophe since the beginning.
It's not just Afghanistan.
The border is actually, it's funny to think about this.
All the stuff we talk about, his least popular issue is the border.
It's actually the issue he does most poorly on.
But now, even the economy.
I mean, he's driven through El Paso once in his life.
So he knows all about the border.
That is basically his level of knowledge on the border.
I know.
You know, he doesn't seem, he seems to honestly be if you were to design a policy strategy which was designed to make the border into the biggest disaster possible.
What would you change?
Yeah.
I mean, if you could say that about his entire presidency, Afghanistan.
If your goal was to empower terrorists and destroy the country of Afghanistan, punish the people who helped us, and take every gain that our troops worked for and destroy it, how would you change the policy of Joe Biden?
You would not change one iota of the policy.
COVID.
I mean, the results are so bad.
If you wanted to make it worse, what would you do?
Would you just buy crop dusters and fly it over populations and spray COVID on them?
What else would you do?
I mean, they haven't done that.
In some states, they've done that.
But I only see the state.
I've seen the chemtrails.
I mean, we have monoclonal antibodies that are pretty successful and have worked really well.
Now, there's a difference with Omicron, by the way.
There's three types of monoclonal antibodies.
Two of them, the main two that have been used, do not seem to be working on Omicron at all.
The third one, which is really rare, is the one that seems to be the only one working well against Omicron.
So that's been one of the complications with Omicron.
But he's made that impossible.
And that's early treatment as well with those antibodies.
But as you were saying, they've made it almost impossible to get.
Almost impossible to get.
As if they don't want to allow people to treat themselves.
Like it was a punishment.
It was a punishment.
You got COVID because you wouldn't wear your mask or something.
Why Early Treatment Failed00:14:50
So we're going to punish you.
And we're still shaming people for getting COVID.
It's incredible.
Now you're seeing it turn around a little bit, though, because Omicron is so infectious that even all the liberals are getting into it.
So now they have to say, oh, well, of course you're going to get it.
You know, of course, obviously, I mean, even the perfect person is going to get it.
But, you know, listen to us next time anyway.
I don't think that's going to happen.
The inflation situation is out of control.
They spent trillion.
I mean, this wasn't all during Biden, but they spent, what, $9 trillion on COVID.
They want to spend another 3.5 on this policy because of a couple of senators.
We're now down at $1.75 trillion and negotiating, though they continue to deny the negotiation is going on.
But eventually we're going to get more money spent, I believe, this year, unless we really luck out.
Oh, we need it.
We need it, Stu, to help the country.
The only thing stopping this, Jeffy, the only thing stopping more trillions and trillions of dollars from going out the door is the fact that right over the horizon is the election.
I know, these ventures.
And they realize there's a lot of, you know, people in purple districts that are terrified as to what will happen.
Lots of Democrats are retiring because they are thinking to themselves, this is, I'm not going to win anyway.
Why bother?
Why take the big L on my forehead when I don't have to?
I can just retire and go away now.
We'll get into the details coming up in just a second.
It's 888 727 back.
Stu and Jeffy in for Glenn on the Glenn Beck program.
The Glenn Beck program.
It is hard to take a look at your tax returns every year and not get angry about how much of your money the government is taking out.
For everybody, I think it gets harder and harder to look at the inflation going around all around us and realize that they're just taking that much more away by devaluing the U.S. dollar.
That is a hidden tax.
It's not one you think about all the time, but it is there.
If you've been thinking about how to protect yourself from rising inflation and the devaluation of the U.S. dollar, it is time to give Goldline a call.
You can do it today.
Gold and silver are the time-tested hedge against inflation and the sort of economic insanity we've been seeing constantly right now.
And as everybody knows, we're going to face more of this craziness going forward.
If that's not enough of a reason to get moving, Goldmine has an extremely small quantity of their holiday silver rounds and their special mind-your-business silver bars left from their Christmas promotion.
Call my SAP, find out how to qualify for the free silver.
What a cool thing.
Call 866Goldmine.
It's 866Goldmine.
Or you can go to goldline.com, protect yourself from everything coming forward when it comes to inflation.
Goldline.com or 866Goldline.
Check out Glenn's interview with Donald Trump tonight on blazetv.com/slash Glenn.
Use the promo code Glenn and save 10 bucks.
It is Stu from, of course, this radio program and Stu Does America.
Make sure to subscribe to the podcast and check out the show.
It's coming up 8 p.m. tonight on Blaze TV.
Right after that is Glenn's TV show.
Now, this one, he is out today because he's sick, but he pre-taped this interview, as he told you before the holidays.
So this is the first time anyone's going to be seeing it.
It's tonight, airs tonight.
It's Donald Trump talking about the future with Glenn Beck from Mar-a-Lago.
We'll give you some cool behind-the-scenes stuff on that here in a little bit.
I'm excited for it.
It's going to be really great.
I'm here with Jeff Fisher, who's helping me out today.
He's, of course, from Chew in the Fat, the podcast available everywhere.
You get your podcast or buy your podcasts.
And in fact, it's a federal mandate.
You have to subscribe to it.
Wow, I didn't know that.
That's straight from Fauci.
So make sure you do that, of course, today.
I want to, if Glenn is home, sometimes he'll tune into the show and see what we're talking about.
And because he's not feeling well today, we don't think it's the coronavirus.
We don't think it's COVID, but we don't, I don't know.
I haven't seen his test results.
And if he's looking for a way to solve this, I want to give him this once again from our president.
How do you solve the situation you're in?
If you happen to be one of the millions of people who have the Rona, that have the Flu Rona, that have the Flumicron, that have the Omicron, whatever you happen to have, here's how you deal with that.
Joe Biden.
We've stood up federal testing sites all over the country.
Right.
We're adding more each and every day.
Perfect.
That's excellent.
Google, quote, COVID test near me.
Go there.
Google, excuse me, COVID test near me on Google to find the nearest site where you can get a test most often and free.
I like to test as often as possible.
About 42 times a day, I will test.
Yeah, I just stop by.
Yeah.
I think it's a bad idea for the American people right now to get out of line.
So what I do is I pull in in my car, I get tested, I just pull right around, come right back in again.
Yeah.
I get that they're setting up new sites.
And so, you know, there's going to be different sites around that you might not know of.
But if you are a person that uses, I don't know, search engines, Google, you know how to Google something.
But I will tell you, in the last two weeks, we have stood up federal testing sites.
Just Google, quote, COVID test near me.
Go there.
Google, excuse me, COVID tests near me on Google to find the nearest site.
That sounds a little bit long.
Yeah, it sounds a little bit, and also not English.
It doesn't sound like he's using English.
Okay, so we've talked about this a little bit here in the previous break.
You start out with bad expectations going into a midterm election.
No matter who's president.
No matter who's president.
How good you've been, times are good, times are bad.
I mean, if times are good, it's still tough.
It's still tough.
Well, times aren't good.
And Joe Biden has not done a good job.
His popularity is through the floor.
This is just out.
CNBC and Change Research poll, 1,895 respondents between December 17th and December 20th showed 56% disapproval rate of the president on the economy.
56%.
Now, he tried to come out yesterday and say, oh, we added more jobs than any president ever in his first year, which is so insulting.
So intellectually insulting.
Do you think people didn't remember we had a pandemic going on?
We were at the very base of the economy a year previous.
And he's like, well, we're bouncing back.
I mean, it's just ridiculous.
Like, Donald Trump could say the same thing, right?
Like, he had millions and millions and millions of jobs added from March 2020.
Well, that was a once-in-a-lifetime situation.
So it's insane to act as if this economy is in good shape.
It isn't.
Everybody knows it isn't.
Everybody realizes we are having all sorts of trouble.
So factor that in.
Factor in Afghanistan.
Factor in the inflation.
Factor in the border.
Factor in the failure of the agenda of the president, the things that he promised.
Factor in the fact that he has not shut down the virus.
Factor all of this stuff in.
He's not competent.
He's not competent.
He can't speak.
He falls asleep in the middle of sentences.
He sees squirrels running by in front of him that aren't there.
All of these things factor into a very poor outlook for the president and his party.
So if you go back in history, you see, and we'll go back to 1946 here.
This is every midterm election since 1946.
1946.
Times are looking up a little bit in 46.
Democratic president in 1946, they lost 53 seats.
1950, Democratic president lost 27 seats.
1954, Republican president lost 16 seats.
1958, Republican president lost 47 seats.
1962, Democratic president lost four seats.
Now, by the way, four would be enough to swing the House, I believe.
Is it four or five?
It's right there.
So they would have to just that, which is by far the best result we've gone through so far, would be enough to give the Republicans the House.
1966, Democratic president, 47 seats lost.
1970, Republican president, nine seats lost.
74, Republican president, minus 43 seats.
1978, Democratic president, minus 11 seats.
This is not partisan.
So far, every single result I've given you.
Only minus 11, though.
Minus 11 is Carter.
Right.
Then you have 1982, Reagan president, minus 27 seats.
And remember, this is a successful presidency.
1986.
Now, this is the peak Reagan revolution.
We've had morning in America.
Everything's going fantastic.
They still lost five seats.
Reagan, a good president in the best of times, minus five.
Yeah, I mean, was that, I mean, that was the election he won by a landslide two years before then.
Yeah, in 84.
Yeah.
I mean, that was the Morning in America election, a complete landslide.
1990, Republican president, minus nine.
So far, pretty much every single one of these would be enough to turn it to the Republicans in 2022.
1994, of course, this is the Gingrich contract with America year.
Democratic president Bill Clinton minus 52 seats.
Now, here's the hope.
Bill was busy.
Yeah.
Here's the hope for Democrats.
1998, Bill Clinton, of course, wins re-election in 96, thanks to kind of a three-party split.
He comes in in 1998 and gains five seats.
Wow.
Now, there's a couple things there.
Five seats is the best result we've seen so far, but also comes off one of the worst results we've seen.
So you lose 52 seats the previous midterm.
Gaining four.
Gaining a few back is not that big of a deal, but it is, at least it's better than most elections go.
Then 2002, there, Republican president, George W. Bush, they gain six seats.
That's post-9-11, though.
So you have a country at war.
White and blue, America.
Exactly.
I mean, this is, if you remember, of course, after 9-11, George W. Bush hits 93% approval rating at one point.
It had come down a little bit by that election, but the Democrats had no chance in that election.
Then 2006, Bush still president, minus 30.
2010, Barack Obama comes in.
And while he comes in on the most uniting, wonderful president of all time, the greatest speaker of all time.
Now, he was not a historically popular president throughout his presidency.
However, he's more popular than we've seen since.
I mean, both Trump and Biden have far lower approval ratings than Obama did at this time.
2010 comes in.
It's the Tea Party wave, minus 63, the biggest wave election in a century.
Minus 63 seats.
2014, after he gets reelected, he loses another 13 seats.
And then Donald Trump gets elected in 2016 as a Republican president and goes on in 2018 to lose 40 seats.
Now, some of these presidents were popular.
Some of them were not.
But with the exception of the middle of the dot-com boom and with Clinton, after following a massive loss in the previous midterm, they gained a few seats and the post-9-11 election.
Every single midterm election since 1946 has been enough, if they just replicate it, to turn the House to the Republicans.
It is almost impossible to fail here.
Only the Republican Party could dream of a scheme to blow this.
You have a historically unpopular president.
You have a historic election where you're coming off of COVID.
These are historic times.
These are historic times.
The devastation, really, that has happened since President Biden has taken office has been incredible.
Yes.
I don't know how you, honestly, I don't know how he fights back from that.
And clearly, look, January 6th would be a thing that the Democrats would try to exploit no matter when it happened.
You're talking about the day democracy almost died?
Yes.
I'm talking about that day, which, by the way, prepare for the annoyance.
Tomorrow's the anniversary.
It's going to be torture.
It's overwhelming.
But like, they would have tried to use that anyway, of course.
But they are looking at this as their only chance to salvage a bad loss.
Like, they are expecting the loss is coming anyway.
They know the loss is coming.
They realize they are in massive trouble here going into November.
Can the Republicans blow it?
Yes, they can.
Can there be a crazy series of events?
You know, you never know if there's a, God forbid, a terrorist attack or something terrible that changes the entire vibe of the country.
Absolutely possible.
But you see, even with all of the historic events we've seen, very rarely has that even happened.
The 9-11 attacks only change it to five or six seats for George W. Bush.
And when you go back and you talk about, well, wait a minute, you say, you know, Biden is unpopular.
Is that true?
He's less popular than Harry Truman at this point.
He's less popular than Dwight Eisenhower at this point.
He's less popular than John F. Kennedy.
He's less popular than Lyndon Johnson.
He's less popular than Richard Nixon.
He's less popular than Gerald Ford.
He's less popular than Jimmy Carter.
He's less popular than Ronald Reagan.
He's less popular than George H.W. Bush.
He's less popular than Bill Clinton.
He's less popular than George H.W. Bush and George W. Bush.
He's less popular than Barack Obama.
The only person, the only president in history that he's slightly above in approval rating is Donald Trump.
Biden's Unpopularity Compared to Presidents00:16:00
Wow.
And that is, you know, I don't know, four points.
Now, Trump, of course.
He can get there.
What's that?
He can get there.
He can drop a little bit.
Oh, yeah.
He's chasing Trump.
Now, Trump had a lower approval rating.
He's obviously a divisive figure.
We all know that.
He had a lower approval rating, but a very consistent approval rating in the low 40s, pretty much throughout his entire presidency.
Didn't drop or rise very much at all.
And Biden is just on this roller coaster ride down.
And it's not looking good.
So combine history with how bad the president is doing and compared to other presidents.
We will be looking at a massive wave election if and only if the Republicans don't blow it.
Well, let's turn this thing around then.
Let's don't blow it.
I mean, it's just that simple.
It will be.
Don't blow it.
They're good at politics.
All you have to do is Google exclusively.
Thank you, Jeffy.
All you have to do to solve the problem.
And this is, you know, the last two weeks, they have stood up these federal testing sites.
All you have to do is Google, quote, COVID test near me.
Go there.
Google.
Excuse me, COVID test near me on Google to find the nearest site where you can get a test most often.
And it's just that simple.
Back in a second.
This is just, it's honestly comical.
All right.
So Glenn Beck is out today.
Maybe he's starting a new company.
You know, he's started companies before.
Blaze, it was obviously there for that.
Mercury Radio Arts, the parent company of this particular program, and Real Estate Agents I Trust.
RealEstate AgentsITrust.com is a website that Glenn created many years ago now because he thought, hey, I've noticed that I get really crappy real estate agents all the time, and I would like to get a good one occasionally.
And it's funny because we really, you're talking about the most important financial transaction you'll probably ever make in your life, buying or selling a home.
They're huge investments.
And the market is going crazy right now.
And people don't spend any time trying to figure out if one real estate agent is better than the other.
A lot of people just pick whatever agent happens to be representing the house they're looking at.
Maybe look at an ad on a bench.
You know, this is not the way to pick someone to manage the most important transaction of your financial life.
Realestateagentsitrust.com.
They go through the screening process for you to find the best agent in your area.
Name kind of says it all.
Realestateagentsitrust.com.
Go there now, check it out.
Realestateagentsitrust.com.
This is the Glenn Beck program.
It's Stu and Jeffy in for Glenn Beck here on the Glenn Beck program.
He's sick.
Hopefully he'll be back tomorrow.
He will be here for his big interview with Donald Trump, luckily, because he pre-taped it.
So it's going to be on tonight.
Don't miss it.
Blazetv.com slash Glenn promo code is Glenn.
We're going to have clips of that and some behind the scenes stuff coming up here in just a minute.
I want to talk about a little bit about what happened on I-95 over the last couple of days.
Scary.
Scary.
And it's unbelievable that this can happen in civilization in 2022.
But basically, a lot of snow came down.
Roads got icy and no one could move.
Right.
An Amtrak train got stranded in Virginia for 40 hours without food.
Of course, they went through and they raided the snack bar and that lasted like a day.
Oh, yeah.
Toilets overflowing, really nasty.
Oh, no, baby.
Senator Tim Kaine finally got to D.C. Took him 27 hours to drive there.
They basically said they tried to, they couldn't pretreat the roads because it was raining and that would wash everything away.
So they didn't do that.
And then the roads got terrible.
People couldn't move.
People started abandoning their cars.
So then no one could move because the cars cars are blocking the way.
Right.
It gets out of control.
Took him 27 hours to get there.
Some of the fun things that happen, though, happen on social media.
Now, if you're freezing in your car, you didn't appreciate this maybe as much as I did.
But first of all, Kamala Harris, she tweeted this.
Because of bipartisan infrastructure law, America is moving again.
That's what infrastructure is all about, getting people moving in the middle of this crisis.
Now, I'm sure it was like a pre-planned tweet.
Still, though.
But she's just, she is face into wall.
She just walks.
Every time.
It's unbelievable how bad she is at this.
She continually just walks into wall, wall after wall after wall.
And I love this one as well.
The social media went crazy and said, look at this.
This is what happens in Virginia.
This is what happens when you elect Glenn Young.
He doesn't actually become governor until January 15th.
I don't think you can blame Youngkin, although they tried.
They're going to.
They tried.
He should have done something.
All right.
Clips of Donald Trump talking about Anthony Fauci.
That's coming up in just a minute.
This is the Glenn Back Program.
Thank you so much, Hillary.
Appreciate it.
888727 back is our phone number.
Glenn is out sick today.
We hope he's back tomorrow, unless he's sick.
And then I don't want him back tomorrow because I get nothing out of you showing up when you're sick.
Stop acting like you're brave.
I don't want to get sick too.
I feel like that's changed.
Back in the day, I think you used to fight yourself and struggle and feel proud about yourself going in when you were sick.
I could struggle through it.
I've come in here every day.
Yeah, I think that really was.
I think you were actually the first person, the first person I could remember going, stay home.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Get away.
Now, that might have been just because it was me.
It was partially that.
Now that I think about it, so never mind.
No, but I do think I was early on this part of the COVID thing.
Oh, I will say this.
There's a bunch of the COVID stuff that I like.
Six feet away from each other.
I don't need to get six feet close to anybody, except maybe my wife.
And she's not really into that.
I'm into it.
She's not.
You know, shaking hands.
I don't really need to shake your hand.
You know what?
I don't want to bump your fist or your elbow either.
I'll just say the daily hug, though.
I don't want to talk.
I've never wanted to.
You are pretty huggable, though.
Jeffy is pretty huggable.
All right, we're going to come back here.
We've got some behind the scenes stuff on the Trump interview, as well as Donald Trump on Anthony Fauci with Glenn here in a second.
What you are about to hear is the fusion of entertainment and enlightenment.
This is the Glenn Back Program.
It is Stu Bergier of the Glenn Beck Program, as well as Stu Does America here today with Jeff Fisher from Chewing the Fat with Jeff Fisher, the podcast.
Make sure you subscribe to both on whatever podcast platform you listen to.
Glenn is out sick today.
We don't know if it's the Fluorona or the Flu.
What is it?
Flumicron?
Flumicron.
Flumicron.
Don't know which one it is, but we will hopefully have him back tomorrow.
Big interview tonight, though.
Glenn Beck talking to Donald Trump at Mar-a-Lago.
He taped it right before the holidays.
That's going to air tonight on Blaze TV, blazetv.com slash Glenn.
Promo code is Glenn.
It'll save you 10 bucks.
It's coming up at 9 p.m. Eastern.
We're going to give you a preview of that and some behind the scenes in just a second.
So what are the things in life that you love doing but can't do anymore because of pain?
Playing maybe a few rounds of golf, maybe playing with your kids or grandkids, opening up a jar, lots of things.
Bending over, very difficult to do.
Bending over to tie your shoes.
Who wants to do that anymore?
No one.
No one.
That's why I got the slip on shoes, baby.
I don't care if I look a thousand years old.
I'm not bending down to tie those things anymore.
That's why you got a wife.
Ah, there you go.
The wife tie your shoes.
Really?
Lucky you.
Lucky you and lucky her.
Let me tell you about Relief Factor.
It was created by doctors to help your body reduce inflammation, the major source of most pain.
It's got four key ingredients that each work together with your body as it fights against the effects of aging, exercise, and everyday living.
Glenn is a big Relief Factor fan, and it's helped change his life.
The three-week quick start they have is developed for you, only $19.95, $1 a day.
It's like a trial pack.
Hundreds of thousands of people have ordered Relief Factor, and about 70% of them go on to order more.
Says quite a bit.
ReliefFactor.com is the place to go to get it.
Or call 800 for relief.
800 for relief.
Get the 1995 three-week quick start developed for you.
Again, it's relieffactor.com or call 800, the number four relief.
Relief Factor.
Feel the difference.
Well, Donald Trump, former president, and Melania Trump, the former first lady, got a terrible Christmas present this past December as Glenn Beck came to town.
And no one wants that to happen.
Thank you.
A terrible punishment for both Donald and Melania.
But they were very gracious hosts.
And we're going to get into what it was like behind the scenes here in just a second.
But I want to give you this clip.
This is from the interview tonight.
Airs at 9 p.m. Eastern on Blaze TV, blazetv.com slash Glenn, right after a brand new Stew Does America.
Don't miss it.
9 p.m. Eastern is the interview.
It's going to be, they go through really everything.
And Glenn was very specific about this interview and what he wanted to do with it.
You know, Donald Trump talks to a lot of people, and, you know, he has, he's only done a couple of interviews with Glenn.
Glenn, I believe, interviewed him long before he was into politics back in the day.
Of course, Glenn has been doing radio since 1744, so he's had an opportunity to do that.
But since he was president, obviously they didn't agree a lot early on in the presidency.
And there weren't any interviews there.
We talked to Don Jr. a bunch of times, but this was his second interview with Donald Trump since he's really anchored back into politics.
We had him on the phone once, and they had talked behind the scenes several times over the years.
But this was really kind of an opportunity to look into the future.
Every interview that the mainstream media wants to do with Donald Trump is going to be about January 6th.
The day democracy almost died.
Thank you.
I like how you have the title built in.
This is what they want.
They want a national holiday.
Honestly, I feel, I don't even like calling it January 6th.
The day democracy almost died.
I don't like doing that because it gives them what they want.
They want it to be January 6th.
The day democracy almost died.
You want to call it the QAnon riots?
You want to come up with another name for it?
I'd much rather like that a lot more than calling it the date because what they want it to be is September 11th, where everyone talks about it every year like it's this big morbid anniversary.
I don't think that's a great idea to call it January 6th.
The day democracy almost died.
The drama really is lost with the word almost, isn't it?
I mean, they were like, the day the plane almost hit the building.
It's near miss.
It's just not the same.
Okay, here is Donald Trump and Glenn Beck talking.
And one of the questions Glenn did want to ask him about how we should go forward in the future is what do you do with Anthony Fauci?
We know he's going to do 472 interviews per day.
We know that's going to occur.
But what else would you do with Anthony Fauci and what was the relationship like?
Here is Glenn talking to former President Trump.
I think when this was coming out of China, it was perfectly reasonable to shut everything down because we didn't know.
They were welding people into their homes in China.
We had no idea, and they weren't being open.
And by the way, they weld them in and they never opened them.
That was the end of them.
Fauci, I want to give everybody the benefit of the doubt in those early days.
We have done a ton of research.
I did one of the biggest chalkboards I think I've ever done.
They were using federal government money to do Wuhan.
Yeah, and Wuhan.
I stopped it.
I was the one that stopped.
You did, but I don't think Fauci cared about that.
Fauci's now claiming he's science.
Did you ever would he still be working for you today?
No, not now, but he's a great promoter.
He's not a great doctor, but he's a great promoter.
But you have to understand everything he wanted, I didn't do.
As an example, he wanted to keep it open to China.
He ultimately was wrong about that and admitted it and admitted that I saved tens of thousands of lives.
He wanted to keep it open.
I saw what was happening in Italy and France and Spain, and I closed it to Europe very early.
You know, in China, it was January I closed it.
And in Europe, it was shortly thereafter.
We saved thousands and thousands of lives.
He wanted to do that.
And then his big one of them all is the masks are useless.
They don't mean anything.
And then all of a sudden, he wants you to wear 10 masks.
Wear as many as you can, put them all over, cover your ears, do everything.
So I didn't really do much of what he said.
And he wasn't a big factor for me in a sense because of that.
This is, I mean, look, I miss him.
First of all, very funny.
I miss him.
Cover your ears with 10 masks.
I miss him.
Now, it's a little bit of a maybe I'll show you a little bit of a different picture here.
Do we have the clip of Joe Biden talking about Google?
Because this is what a real president sounds like.
In the last two weeks, we've stood up federal testing sites all over the country.
We're adding more each and every day.
That's good to hear.
Google.
Google.
Quote, COVID, test near me.
Go there.
Google.
Google.
Go.
Google.
COVID test near me.
Google.
Where do I go?
To find the nearest site where you can get a test most often and free.
Yeah, but get them most often and free.
I mean, you want to talk about, wow, the confidence level is incredibly high.
So he's talking about Fauci, and I think it's interesting.
His answer on Fauci seems to basically be Fauci was liked by the media.
He had his value, but we didn't really listen to him behind the scenes.
So he gets into that a little bit more tonight.
He gets into talking about Russia, Vladimir Putin, inflation, all the big topics that you want to think about as we go into a midterm election.
Glenn talks to the president about and looks forward, not back, not talking about January 6th like everybody else in democracy.
Now I'm not going to be able to hear that date without your stupid subtitle.
We bring in Jason Buttrell, who was on this trip with Glenn.
Inside Mar-a-Lago with the President00:08:34
He was in the room for much of this.
He got on the plane.
He went to Mar-a-Lago, met everybody there.
It's got to be a wild experience to go to Mar-a-Lago and after he's been president of the United States to meet Donald, Melania, the family.
What a bizarre experience.
It's not what you would think it would be.
It's not exactly what I thought it was going to be.
Like if you think you would go to like the Obama's house or whatever, like Martha's Vineyard.
Yeah, right.
Like what would that be like?
You would think that it would just be a bunch of people, you know, sniffing their own farts and just telling each other how awesome they are, which I still think that's how it would be if you go to the Obamas.
There'd be this air of I'm better than you or something like that.
And I feel like nobody's there, right?
It's just at the Obama's house, you've got Barack, you got Michelle, maybe a couple people, but like it's not a, there's not a ton of people around.
I feel like they're going to that place to isolate, basically.
That's not what Trump is doing.
No, not at all.
Not at all.
Like I said, I kind of thought Mar-a-Lago was a hotel.
It's not a hotel.
I guess it's more like a club.
There's only like a handful of guest rooms there.
So it really is like, you know, President Trump's house slash office and a few influential people or friends will come by and there's members of the club or whatever.
But I mean, I remember straight off the bat, we went into this like very like beautiful ballroom to do the interview in and we're setting up and all of a sudden Don Jr. just walks in the room.
And I'm like, what?
Like, exactly.
It was like that.
He's like, hey, what's up, guys?
You know, dude.
He didn't say dudes, but that's kind of how it felt.
Yeah, yeah.
Just walked in very casual, just started, you know, like, you know, chewing the fat with all of us in there.
And I was just from that, I was like, that's kind of surreal, right?
I mean, just the president's son, who's also very, very out in the open, you know, in the public, just rolls in, just starts talking with everybody, chilling.
And Trump comes in to do the interview.
And it was kind of the same thing.
You know, there was some secret.
You knew movements were happening because of the Secret Service.
He just came in and started talking.
You know, it was like, whatever.
Very laid back.
Very laid back.
This is where he's most comfortable, right?
I mean, this is his environment.
It's not an act at all, which is like, you know, they teach you like in political science in college, you know, about the, you know, you got to hook those hands, you know, and pretend like you're one of the, he's literally like one of those guys, albeit with a little bit more money than the rest of those guys.
A tad.
But a little bit.
But he is one of those guys.
It is.
That's just the way he's gotten things done his whole life.
Yeah.
Being that guy.
Yeah.
He is the least likely to relate to the everyman.
Like if you would predict who would be the least likely to understand how normal people live, it would be Donald Trump, right?
The guy, his dad was wealthy.
He grew up incredibly wealthy.
His entire brand was, I live a life that you don't live.
And that was really his brand throughout the 80s and 90s and going into The Apprentice.
And as the apprentice, in the apprentice, he's the boss.
He's telling people that they're fired all the time.
That's not normally a path to the presidency.
But he has, there's something about Donald Trump that relates to the city.
I mean, he's the guy that you would expect, you know, even though he's been sitting in his gold chair up on the 116th floor.
He's going to come down to stand in the mud and shake your hands and talk to you about the day.
Right.
I mean, he definitely has the golden chair.
You know, he has all the luxuries and all that stuff.
But the problem is, so he doesn't, he doesn't see you as lesser because you're not also sitting in a golden chair.
And you think that, I mean, that's really the rise of him was just him listening.
And that's what we saw in that room before the interview.
He'll listen to you.
Like, I won't talk about the private conversations that we were having.
Of course.
But he was, you know, he would ask questions and he'd look like he cared about your response to he does.
And if you look, if you look back at his presidency and the people that he would argue with was the press.
It wasn't the American people.
When he was out on the road, he listened to the American people.
He didn't confront them.
As opposed to like a Joe Biden that's saying, I'll fight you for it.
Like a huge difference there.
Absolutely.
And the result was, you know, we finally had someone that talking about issues that people had, like the border.
Like no one even wanted to address the border.
I mean, he's probably not president if it wasn't for his strong stance on the border.
But he made it because he was talking to people.
He was listening.
The craziest thing, though, guys, was after the interview.
So we had heard this before that sometimes he'll invite people to come and eat dinner, you know, if they, if, you know, media comes and, you know, does an interview with him.
So he invited us all to stay there for dinner.
And I'm not talking about just Glenn, you know, or just his EP or whatever.
The crew and everybody.
He was like, hey, come on in.
Come, come eat.
And so he was like, hey, yeah, we're just walking up there now.
I think this happens every night there.
So you get this feeling that you're in his house, right?
Yeah.
And there is this like kind of courtyard in Mar-a-Lago.
It's, you know, it's, it's open air.
It's always beautiful and, you know, temperature's nice out there.
But everyone goes, everyone's sitting there.
It's not a restaurant.
So like they don't flip the tables and make room for somebody else after someone else eats.
Right.
It's set once.
You go there and eat and then you leave.
Right.
And like they don't prepare for anyone else again.
But he like, so he goes out.
We sit at our table.
We look over to the left, like a table and a half away.
The former president of the United States, his wife and a couple friends are just sitting right there.
Like within earshot.
You can hear everything they're saying.
I mean, literally like two, a table and a half away.
You look over.
It was the most surreal thing ever.
But that wasn't the most surreal thing.
Sit down, you pass me some pepper.
Yeah, it's literally, it was so that if you ever get a chance to do this, it's literally like if you're at a large family gathering, a large family gathering on Thanksgiving and dad or some, you know, grandpa sitting over there at the other table and he wants to get up and go like, oh, hey, I just thought of this thing.
I wanted to come tell you guys.
So he walks over to our table.
He was doing that all night.
Really?
He walked to our table like twice and was like, hey, guys, what's up?
Hey, I just thought of this one thing.
It was the most, and he, that's, if you are a people's president, that right there is the template.
It was like crazy cool.
And that's just how he is.
And he does that with people every night.
It's interesting.
Now, as a broadcaster, one of the things you want to do is relate to your audience and give them new information they can use.
So if you happen to ever be in the situation where you're dining with Donald and Melania Trump, you now know how to handle the situation thanks to Jason.
There you go.
Now you know.
I'm here for you.
What it's what it's like.
That's how you go.
We'll take a quick break, come back with more, because I want to ask you a little bit more about where they went in this interview and the types of The types of things we're going to hear from the media this week, which are going to be excruciating.
The interview airs tonight.
It's blazetv.com slash Glenn at 9 p.m. Eastern, right after a brand new Stew Does America.
Yeah.
All right.
If you have kids or grandkids, it's probably not lost on you that you have a finite amount of time, which you have basically to help shape them into an adult that's going to be a good person, useful to society.
The opposite of Jeffy, there's only so many, you only have a limited amount of time to make sure your kid doesn't grow up to be Jeffy.
And that's important.
If you want to make sure that they understand the principles of this country, a great place to go is the Tuttle Twins books.
I have these for my kids.
I got them the whole set.
These are books that will tell you, they teach your kids and have them understanding concepts about America, the foundations of America that we consider to be so important.
And it's why we show up here and talk every day.
And why do we want to do this again?
So they don't turn into Jeffy.
Oh, yeah, that's right.
Never mind.
I forget.
And these books, though, don't, they don't preach.
They don't talk down to your kids.
They give them interesting stories and entertaining stories that happen to also, you know, carry important messages and things they need to know.
They're fun and entertaining.
And simultaneously, they teach about freedom, economics, American history, a lot more.
So if you have kids, if you have grandkids, you need to help them because our country needs the help.
We need good people, non-Jeffies in the future.
The Tuttle Twins are having a great sale right now, 35% discount off their books.
Plus, they're giving away the activity workbooks at no additional cost.
It's a big discount off the normal price.
Go to tuttletwinsbeck.com, T-U-T-T-L-E, TuttleTwinsBeck.com and get the discount.
Keep your kids sane in a crazy socialist world.
Elite Steaks and National Debt00:04:40
it's tuttletwinsbeck.com 10 second station id welcome back It is Stu and Jeffy in for Glenn Beck.
He's out sick today.
Jason Buttrell joins us as well.
And I know that Jason was there for the Donald Trump interview that's airing tonight on Blaze TV, Glenn interviewing the former president, Donald Trump.
And we, of course, care about what the president said.
What do you have for dinner?
This is a great question.
What did you guys eat?
It's almost like I'm going to get in trouble for answering this.
I almost feel I'm going to get in trouble for answering this.
Was it human meat?
Is the president serving human flesh at Mar-a-Lago?
I knew it.
I've been watching MSNBC, and that's exactly what they said was happening.
I hope they're not listening right now because I'm totally going to get an email.
But so there was a ton of good stuff on the menu, right?
A lot of luxurious stuff.
So there wasn't a menu.
There was a menu.
Yeah.
No prices, but there was a menu and a ton of stuff.
Steaks, bunch of good looking stuff.
But the president personally stopped by the table again and was like, oh, you guys have got to have this something chop steak in the same style as some New York eatery, which apparently is very famous.
And he said a couple of other things.
Well, the president, and it's his house, like recommends something you pretty probably go for.
So I got it thinking it would, it said chop.
I think it said chop steak.
I got it not thinking about it.
It was literally like hamburger meat.
Yeah.
That's what that's what it is.
Yeah, that's what chopstick is.
That's not what I was expecting.
And then I was looking at the menu again.
And I was like, I got hamburger meat and then there was prime rib right next to it.
I know that's it.
That's hamburger meat with the white gravy and the mix, the chop from New York is probably what he, I mean, that's some.
I mean, it's good, but it's like, but I mean, it's hamburger meat, right?
It's just really, really, really, no.
You're just an elitist TV.
That's another thing.
He's not an elitist eater, right?
He just has like normal stuff.
Well, he famously brought in, you know, was it Clemson with the McDonald's?
Right, right, right, right.
And that's the thing I got kind of, one of the things I like about Trump, and I think why it's been relatable, why he's able to relate to the every guy, is that he, at some point, someone called him, you know, the elite, like Donald Trump.
And he said, yeah, like, I want to be elite.
Like, what's wrong with being elite?
Like, and I think that's what every single person on earth, of course, strives to.
Would you like to live the life of a billionaire?
Of course.
You don't necessarily get there.
You don't want to adopt the attitudes and the weirdness of some of these people.
But hey, we'd all like to achieve more.
And he's willing to kind of admit that that's where everybody wants to be.
Yeah.
And honestly, I will tell you, if I was a billionaire, I'd still be eating freaking french fries.
That's what I would be doing.
All right.
Wouldn't you?
I don't think I would be eating all fancy food all the time.
You're going to start eating S Cargo because you're rich?
Nope.
I'm staying with the healthy food I'm eating right now.
I don't think you're the person to give dietary advice to this country, Jeffy.
I don't think that's advisable.
It's 9 p.m. Eastern.
Don't miss this interview.

1-8-2-3-3-4.
The Federal Reserve recently mentioned that a few rate hikes could be coming later this year.
And one of the things that means is basically credit card debt is going to get a lot more expensive.
If you have credit card debt, I mean, it was already expensive.
If you're one of the people who stands to lose a ton of money because of this, you got to figure out how you're going to attack this problem.
How you're going to get out of that debt as soon as you can.
And while you're at it, you should be investigating all the ways you can spend less on interest in other areas, including your mortgage.
Nobody does a better job at helping you figure out the best way to do all of this than the mortgage consultants over at American Financing.
Just takes one call to America's Home for Home Loans.

The promo code is Glenn.
It'll save you $10.
It's Stu of Studios America and Jeffy of Chewing the Fat with Jeff Fisher in for Glenn Beck today.
He's out sick.
He's got his interview tonight, blazetv.com slash Glenn.
It is Donald Trump and Glenn Beck at Mar-a-Lago.
Going to be very interesting.
There's a column in the Federalists today.
13 happenings in 2021 that I never would have believed five years ago.
It's funny because these things happen so fast.
A lot of times we miss them.
My first reaction would be only 13.
Only 13.
It's got to be more than that.
Let me give you this list.
Tell me if these are surprising to you, Jeffy.
Would you have been able to believe these five years ago?
Five years ago.
Not that long ago.
I mean, you're going back 2017.
Okay.
Men as women.
This is the trend that would have most shocked my grandparents is transgenderism.
Men are now competing with women in women's sports, being housed with women in prison.
I will say that one does surprise me enough.
Now, we knew this stuff was coming in 2017, but the fact that like half the country is saying, yeah, that guy should be in the women's swimming.
Pretty amazing.
That's incredible.
Yes, it is.
And women's prison?
Like, how can you be putting it in the middle of the middle?
That's a genius move.
Let's be honest.
If you're going to prison.
Really?
Yes.
Oh, my gosh.
You just say you're.
If you're going to prison.
Yep.
I'm a woman.
Got to go there.
I mean, that's genius.
It's a lot better than what I've heard happens in the other side of the prison.
If you have the opportunity, you know, if you're going to prison and you're given the opportunity of going to the men's prison or going to the women's prison.
Sure, there are some, I guess, you know, the argument is going to be, well, there's transgenderism and they belong there for sure.
Okay.
Okay.
Not necessarily, the women aren't necessarily okay with it, but I know what you're saying.
But as a man that would be going to prison, in all seriousness, why wouldn't you say it?
Correct.
Why wouldn't you say, you know what?
Yes, I am a woman.
You got to put me in the women's side.
I belong over there.
Why wouldn't you say it?
I don't know.
You're already in prison.
No.
That's what I'm saying.
That's a genius move if they allow it.
And I will say this.
If you're in the right state, they basically cannot legally question it.
Right, because you've said it.
You've said it.
All you have to do to be a woman is say you're a woman.
Once you're on the women's side of the prison, I mean, I think, you know, a lot of people would go to the creepy elements of that, which there are many.
But also, you know, just to avoid the horror show that is the men's side of the prison with fights and worse.
And I know that, you know, look, prison, whether it's men or female, you know, prison ain't fun.
You can quote me on that.
Wow.
Jeffy ain't fun.
You're getting real wisdom from Jeffy today.
All right.
Number two on this list of the 13 things that would surprise anyone five years ago.
Blocking puberty.
Parents now enabling young children to change genders with dangerous surgeries and puberty blockers.
It's hard to believe that parents would go along with this.
It is.
Is it as prevalent as we think it is?
I mean, if it's making this list, but I don't think that it necessarily makes the list.
I don't know that we're.
Look, it's not a super, super common thing that's growing.
It's things that we never would have believed five years ago.
Yeah, okay.
I am surprised at how many Americans, even those on the left that are willing to deny their own children's gender and allow them to do terrible things to themselves.
That is surprising to me.
Now, it's not the majority, I don't think, of even the left, but it's a lot of people.
It's far too many.
Drafting women.
The United States narrowly avoided a draft for women, which was supported by many elected officials in even the conservative party.
I don't think that was ever going to happen, though, really, right?
And it didn't happen, so I guess we wouldn't.
That one, I don't know if I'd qualify for it.
I feel like it gets every, you know, I don't know, every few years it gets brought up again.
Yeah, but it is growing, and it seems, and it is, it's very strange to hear an argument that the side that is pro-women is the side to get women shot in combat, to get them drafted against their will to go to war.
You know, look, chivalry is mostly dead, but I did think we had a little strain of it left.
But, you know, if we're, if we choose, hey, if you've, you know, if you decided that you're going to go to prison and you were a man when you were sentenced, but you've decided to go to a women's prison, you know, okay, maybe you can go in the army too.
Go ahead, get out of here.
You can go fight.
There you go.
How about not prosecuting crime is the next one on the list?
Is that a surprising trend?
I think that one is surprising as well.
And what's interesting about at least these first four is I think there's a real movement against these things.
You know, there was the defund the police thing, but even Democratic cities are stepping up and saying, wait a minute, no, I don't want to do that.
They're already fighting back against that.
They've already decided, you know what?
No.
No.
This is not going to work.
We're seeing the results of it.
I don't want this.
You know, liberals want to go to restaurants.
Everybody wants to be able to pull into a 7-Eleven and get their Slurpee and get their gas and go home.
And not get shot.
Thank you.
Right.
And when you offend, you're offending not only the conservatives who don't like these ideas generally, but you're going so far in such an insane way that you're hurting tons of moderates and even liberals.
How about massive illegal immigration?
Would you believe that five years ago?
I may have believed that one.
I mean, the Democrats have been trying to do that for a long time, and it was happening anyway, even under Trump.
I mean, we had massive amounts of people crossing the border.
Obviously, Trump was trying to do something about it, which is unlike some other presidents, but that's been going on for a long time and is continuing and getting worse.
The catastrophe sort of situations on the border maybe are worse than you'd think.
But the amount of people crossing it is not incredibly shocking to me.
How about widespread censorship?
I mean, if you would have said five years ago, the president of the United States will be banned from all social media.
No way that could be.
I would not have believed that.
I would not have either.
I still kind of don't, actually.
What are you talking about?
Because, you know, it's one thing to ban, you know, Alex Jones, right?
And Alex Jones, we argued against Alex Jones being banned, even though I don't agree with most of his, you know, his theories.
But like, we, we agree he shouldn't be silenced.
That's dumb.
But like the the social media companies have a real out with public figures.
They haven't, they have an out from all responsibility because we should know what the president of the United States is thinking.
We should know what the former president of the United States is thinking.
The country needs to know that, even if what he's saying is completely wrong and irresponsible and racist or worse, no matter what it is.
Like I don't think, you know, world leaders of any sort should be banned from these social media apps, including people like, you know, from Iran.
Because I wouldn't say that they are.
And that's what's amazing.
They're not.
But the argument to me is not they should be banned too.
It should be people like the president, you know, congresswomen, all these people should not be banned.
I want to know what they're saying.
I want to know, shouldn't, why should that be hidden?
And, you know, honestly, like one of the things that I think the left really misunderstood when they did the Trump thing was that Trump caused a lot of problems for himself on Twitter.
Now, he also had a lot of positives, but a lot of even his most ardent supporters will say, oh, I love the guy, but I wish he'd stop doing that, right?
They've taken that away from him.
You know, all of the, whatever mistakes Trump may have made on Twitter over the past couple of years haven't occurred.
I know.
Which is interesting and probably really positive for Trump's reelection hopes.
It certainly is positive for people like me who see him talking to Glenn Beck and looking forward to his interview tonight with Glenn Beck on Glaze TV thinking, I miss him.
Man, do I miss him?
And I think there's tons of people in that same boat just saying, like, good.
I mean, look at Biden is like falling asleep in the middle of sentences.
At least Trump had energy.
A lot of people didn't like him, but it's hard to argue that Joe Biden has done a good job here.
I don't even think the left is attempting it.
They're not sitting here going like, actually, this has been great.
They'll say, actually, you know what's worse?
Donald Trump.
They'll say that, but they won't even defend him, Biden as doing a good job.
They can't.
I mean, they can't.
Number seven on this list of 13 happenings in 2021 that I would have never seen coming five years ago.
Parents labeled terrorists.
Parents were labeled domestic terrorists by the Biden Justice Department for showing up at school board meetings with complaints.
That's a pretty bad one.
That is a pretty bad one.
That's a pretty bad one.
And that's been proven that their parents were labeled that and ugly.
President's mental abilities doubted.
President Biden.
How we've been doing that.
I will say every president.
Yeah.
Really, every president that I can remember outside of Barack Obama and maybe Bill Clinton.
I mean, Democrats usually have a pass on this.
Maybe the proper wording of this is a Democrat's president's mental abilities guy.
Probably.
I mean, we were worried about Reagan, right?
Reagan, George W. Bush.
Oh, the guys.
Every time he flubbed a speech, they would make a story for two weeks.
And people writing entire books about how dumb George Bush was because he'd flub a word.
What happened to that?
Well, usually a Democrat has a complete pass.
They're smart.
They're the intelligent one.
With Biden, they don't even argue that.
Well, I mean, they can't.
We could play an hour off the top of our head clips we'd have to just ask for of Joe Biden screwing up.
Oh, my God.
There's you going, no.
We started a montage during the election of like, let's just get all of his flubs and just keep stringing them together.
And it'll be funny because it'll get longer and longer.
We just gave up.
It got so long.
We couldn't even play it on the air.
It was just, it was like 12 minutes long of just Joe Biden screwing things up.
And eventually you just run out of time on the show.
Next up on this list, 13 happenings in 2021 that I never saw happening five years ago.
Asking athletes for advice.
I like this one a lot.
I don't know that I wouldn't have seen that coming five years ago because it was brewing, but it's much, much worse now.
And the way I would identify this is something like Colin Kaepernick or LeBron James.
And it's one of the reasons why I know a lot of people in the audience have turned against sports, particularly last year, and boycotted them.
Of course, my team, Philadelphia Eagles, going to the playoffs, I cannot do such a thing.
They could all be members of ISIS and I would still watch them because I love them.
As a matter of fact, I think they are.
They are.
It's very possible.
However, what I will say is, this is one of the reasons why I don't boycott sports because I don't go to idiot athletes for their opinions on politics.
I don't care what Colin Kaepernick says because Colin Kaepernick is a buffoon.
He's an idiot.
I've defined athletics and people's day-to-day lives so much, it's agonizing.
Yeah.
I mean, every, no matter who they are, you know, George, what's his name on the coach of the Spurs is always coming out.
Oh, yeah.
What's his face?
Yepopovich, Kerr, these coaches, they're buffoons.
I mean, look, they can have all sorts of ridiculous left-wing ideologies.
Coach your team.
Yeah, let me why, but even if you come out every single day and say nonsensical, idiotic political opinions, the bottom line is I don't care about them and I don't have to listen to them.
And, you know, when there's one idiot taking a knee on a field with next to 52 other players who aren't, am I going to boycott something that I enjoy and punish all those other players that aren't taking a knee?
Maybe they have their hand over their heart looking at the flag.
You got people up in the stands, you know, working the stands.
That's their job.
I'm not going to boycott those people because one moron takes a knee.
That just doesn't have enough influence over me.
20 Years of Rough Greens00:02:20
So I like that one.
Anyway, that's a partial list, and you can check it out on the Federalist here.
And we'll give you maybe a couple more.
There's another great list about technology that is developing.
We'll have time for that here in just a second as well.
888727 Beck is the phone number.
It's Stu and Jeffy in for Glenn.
I'm a dog owner.
I love dogs.
Man's best friend.
Sure.
I'm for it.
Glenn has a dog, Uno, who's basically part of the family.
And I think we all have those relationships with our dog.
We love them.
I have President Miles who he, the reason we call him President Miles is he's 17 years old and he's a pug and he walks very slowly.
He does not get out of bed very early.
You know, he sleeps from like 8 p.m. to 2 p.m.
That's a good gig.
And then he wakes up, goes to the bathroom, eats, and goes back to bed.
Again, I repeat, that's a good gig.
And he's awake more than President Biden.
That's why we call him President Miles.
He's awesome.
But I will say he moves around a lot faster.
We were saying he's got the zoomies going on right now.
He's been moving around pretty quick lately.
And I think part of that is Rough Greens.
Rough Greens is fantastic.
It's a way it's a supplement you add to the food.
It'll help your dog get all the vitamins and nutrients that they need, not from like a dead dog food that's been on the shelf for six years, but something, all these nutrients are, you know, are there for your dog to make your dog feel better, give him more energy.
The folks at Rough Greens are so confident that your dog is going to love rough greens.
They have a special deal for you.

Promo code is Glenn.
It's an interview you don't want to miss.
So I was going through a list.
We just did the 13 happenings in 2021 that would never, you wouldn't have believed five years ago.
But it got me thinking about the list that the things that weren't around 20 years ago.
20 Years of Apps00:01:57
Okay.
So for the last 20 years, you've gotten used to using your iPhone, Facebook, YouTube, Instagram, Twitter, TikTok, Bitcoin, Tesla, Slack, Snapchat, LinkedIn, Pinterest.
Those are just some of the things.
Skype, Spotify, Uber.
Those are just some of the things on the list that have not been around for more than 20 years.
Jeez.
All those things now are either central parts of people's entertainment life or work life.
Right.
And I mean, it's just a, you think about Netflix, you know, Amazon Prime, those things.
I mean, those are big parts of people's lives.
Yeah.
And some of them, I think, are good.
A lot of them not.
Really?
You know, I think the TikTok thing is a good one, obviously, because I've been wanting to give the Chinese Communist Party as much information about myself as possible.
I know.
And when you go down and what happens with the app is just incredible.
And we've given up.
Yeah, it doesn't matter.
There was a push there at one point.
You know, we can't do it.
We can't do it.
And then the next thing, it is amazing because that was the push from President Trump.
Yeah.
You know, he talked about ban.
Now it's hard for a president to ban an app.
I mean, it was never, I don't know that we ever had a chance of doing it that way, but at least he had an attitude to say, hey, wait a minute, we should be alerted to this.
And now it's the number one app out there.
I don't care.
It's beaten Facebook and Instagram and everything.
And I watch it.
And every once in a while, I watch a TikTok video.
I'm not a member, but I do catch them from my wife mainly most of the time.
And I watch them and it's some woman dancing or lip-syncing.
And I think I'm now dumber than I was just seconds ago.
But you could be making those.
I could be making that.
Steve could be making those.
I could be doing that.
I will not be doing that, but I could be doing that.
We'll see you tomorrow.
Glenbeck program with Jeffy and Stu.
Check out the interview tonight with Donald Trump.
