The Impeachment That Will 'Go Down in History' | Guests: Nick Di Paolo & Daniel Horowitz | 12/18/19

Glenn Beck, Nick Di Paolo, and Daniel Horowitz dissect the 2019 impeachment as a political sham driven by Nancy Pelosi's alleged religious fervor and a desire to help Joe Biden win. They argue Democrats abuse power using the DOJ and FBI to smear Trump while pushing an omnibus bill containing 2,500 pages of "low-tax socialism," including amnesty provisions that could fuel MS-13. Beck mocks Speaker Pelosi as "Pope 2" and claims Republicans will unanimously acquit, suggesting the real threat is bad legislation passing unnoticed during this theatrical distraction from judicial appointments. Ultimately, the hosts conclude the process achieves nothing but validates their view of a corrupt system. [Automatically generated summary]

Historic Day of Mourning 00:12:31
Anybody else in Christmas mode?
Anybody else just in like, you know, meh? Don't really care what happens.
I'm just getting ready for the holidays.
Absolutely not.
It's a historic day.
This day.
I've been praying with the founding fathers today with that beautiful document, the Constitution, which we will honor heartfelt, sorrowful.
I just don't care about any of this impeachment stuff, and I don't feel like it's a historic day.
I think this is a total sham.
This makes me want to vote for Donald Trump even more.
i've never seen anything quite like this uh they're getting ready to uh nancy Nancy is about to take the stage.
I'm sorry, take the gavel.
And she's going to give us this heartfelt speech here in just a few minutes.
And I can't wait because it's so historic and so sincere and so full of bullcrap.
I just can't take it.
Oh, I can't believe you would say that.
After all the praying she's done.
All the praying.
She's almost too Catholic for the Pope.
The Pope is like, slow down.
You don't have to pray that much.
Okay?
Impeachment Day.
We'll talk about it coming up.
The fusion of entertainment and enlightenment.
Man.
Man, Nancy, slow down.
Slow down.
I'm afraid she might lose her head.
She might lose her teeth today.
We don't know.
But she has just come back from the nunnery.
Back from the convent where she has been sequestered and taken her vow of silence so she could pray to the Lord in the heavens above and read those sacred documents, the Constitution, because this is a historic day.
And Nancy, who has been in seclusion, meeting with some of the greatest spiritual leaders of our day, Moses, Jesus, Gandhi, Fusion GPS, all of them have been there to counsel her.
And today she's going to lead us, really, in a day of mourning as they take the stage, otherwise known as the House Chamber, and impeach, for only the third time in American history, impeach a sitting president.
You shall remember where you were today I mean, I hope I I mean, unless I have, you know Some sort of brain disorder or something You know, I'll remember sure I think I was in, I don't know, Dallas.
I know I was in America that day, but I don't think this is the historic day.
They keep using that word.
I do not think it means what they think it means.
More in one minute.
This is the Glenbeck program.
Remember the time when you found out that you had inherited millions of dollars from some Nigerian prince you didn't even know you were related to?
All you needed to do was just give them some bank information.
You just needed to send them some money, give them some bank information so they could wire transfer all of those millions.
You know, it's just, and they needed that money just to, you know, just for the processing fees.
And you received your riches.
Remember that?
Oh, those were the days.
They don't come back.
The good old days of cybercrime.
We were like, I'm related to a Nigerian prince.
It was a little simpler back then, and so were we.
It's important to understand how cybercrime now is affecting our lives.
Identity threats are a serious issue.
Somebody's identity is stolen every two seconds, and it's not usually by a Nigerian prince.
LifeLock detects a wide range of identity threats, things like your social security number being on sale on the dark web.
Now, nobody can prevent all identity theft or monitor all transactions at all businesses, but damn it, if Nancy Pelosi is just too busy, I mean, usually they're on it.
Usually the Democrats are, they're on it.
They're on it.
Damn it.
If it wasn't for this impeachment, oh, this sacred constitution, I slept with it last night.
I mean, in a platonic sort of way.
Well, they're not capable of doing it because they have to take care of the business of impeaching this president.
It's the people's will.
So we have to let somebody like Lifelock look at the threats that you might miss on your own.

Oh.
Nancy Pelosi, we understand, was weeping last night for what she felt she just must do.
She argued back and forth with the Lord.
This, according to the Pope, who is quoted as saying, geez, Nancy, I mean, you don't have to pray that much.
I mean, slow down.
It's like a religion to you.
I mean, I know, I got it.
You're Catholic.
So am I. Calm down.
But she was sequestered last night in her house chambers, and she wept all night for the Constitution.
She said that she was visited by George Washington and Ben Franklin and Thomas Jefferson, and she wept with them.
They wept even.
And she said, This document, I love this document so much.
And she went to the National Archives and she said, Please take the glass away so I could just kiss it myself.
And today, she is filled with sorrow.
Oh, alas, I must say a fond farewell to this president of the United States.
No, no, I shan't do it.
Oh, I must, I must, I shan't do it.
I must, I must.
Oh, oh, the agony.
She cried out in her chambers last night.
So today, she's going to take us through all of those heart-wrenching moments she has had to endure because of this president.
Damn it.
It's so transparent.
You've hit on like my ultimate hot button on this.
Oh, I can't tell you.
Because they are sitting there and trying to convince us that they are taking this seriously, that they actually think it's solemn.
And then please do not cheapen this moment, Stu.
I will not sit here with you cheapening this moment.
And then Nancy Pelosi has the utter gull to sit there and utilize God for this argument at a pace that would embarrass the Pope, that would embarrass Mother Teresa.
Why?
That would embarrass every pastor in the United States.
Why?
For just you're just overdoing it with this God thing, Nancy.
Why must you go here, Stu, and cheapen?
Now, God, now you're taking on God and Nancy Pelosi's love of God.
She is the most Catholic Catholic I've ever seen in all of Catholicom.
Oh my no one believes.
No one, including her.
Don't you use that word hate?
Don't you use that word hate?
She's a Catholic.
Is she?
Sure, she is.
I'm sure that's vital, vitally important.
And she can't use at any point that it politically benefits her.
And you never hear one word about it at any other time.
But whenever she needs to pass a giant spending bill or she needs to impeach a president, oh my gosh, she's a freaking pastor.
She's up there with like this.
The Bible's stapled to her shirt.
She is constantly out there doing things that the left always criticizes.
That you should not bring religion into the public sphere.
All she says is that just the only motivating factor for her is her Catholicism.
I mean, it is embarrassing, and it seems to go further than that, doesn't it?
I feel like there's using things in public.
Yes, I'm going to say it.
I'm going to say it.
Yes, it does go farther than that.
Last night, and I wasn't going to say it.
I didn't feel it was necessary.
I didn't feel it was my place to say something like this because it is so sacred.
What happened to her last night while she was standing trying to make out with the Constitution?
Not make out.
I mean, just like you kiss your mother on returning home to her in heaven.
Oh, mother.
With deep, deep, profound respect.
Then, standing there in the National Archives in the middle of the night, only Nancy Pelosi, George Washington, Ben Franklin, and the spirit of Thomas Jefferson, all wailing and weeping, there, right there, just above the Declaration of Independence, an apparition appeared.
And Nancy stood there and think, Why me, I'm just a poor peasant girl.
What is this apparition I see?
And there it is.
There it is.
Mother Hillary.
There.
Appearing, the mother of all of the world.
Appearing over the Declaration and Constitution, there in the National Archives, in her beautiful blue robes and rays of light and a whiteness more pure than anything I have ever seen before.
And Nancy looked up and said, Yes, Mother Hillary, what must I do?
And Hillary said, Russia.
Russia, my child.
Oh, the world will come to no good if you cannot turn the hearts of the Russians.
And Nancy said, Oh my gosh, this is almost like those peasant kids in that other country with the water and the stuff when Mother Mary came to them.
She said, Yes, yes, they misunderstood.
It was me, Mother Hillary.
And Nancy, you must tell the world now.
It's Russia.
And Donald Trump is the Antichrist.
And I know you don't want to do it.
She says, I shan't, I shan't.
I can't.
I can't.
You must pick up your staff.
You must be the woman that only I could be, as I am the mother of all of the world.
And Nancy said, I shall do it.
Actually, her words were, me too.
And so today, the blessed Saint Nancy will come to us in just a few minutes.
And I dare say she shan't tell us about the apparition or even hanging out with the founding fathers or how much she loves.
Well, she'll definitely tell us how much she loves the Constitution and God and prayer.
But I want you to know, Stu, how dare you, how dare you mock this religious, spiritual, deeply sad, profoundly significant and dare I say it, act of God today.
Mocking the Act of God 00:09:48
I actually heard one of them last night say, you know, you should get history straight, all right?
History tells us exactly what we must do.
History and our founders and our Constitution.
And I'm like, this is the first time you guys have ever cared about any of those things.
You have destroyed our history.
You have destroyed our traditions.
You have destroyed our Constitution, our Declaration of Independence.
You call our founding fathers nothing but racist slave owners and genocidal maniacs.
You expect me, oh, by the way, you mock God by rejecting him, not once, not twice, but thrice.
You reject him at your own convention, and now you tell me all of a sudden about God while you're trying to chase him out of everything and replace him with big, some big fat trans person in a library?
I don't think so.
I don't think I'm buying it today.
How could anyone buy it?
How?
And they keep going on television and acting as if these congresspeople mean this stuff.
We all know they don't mean it.
I think they're just saying things they know aren't true.
No one is looking at this as a solemn thing.
They're all looking at it as a political piece of ammunition.
Can I ask you?
Can I ask you this question in all seriousness?
What are they saying that Trump did?
Honestly, what are they saying that Trump did?
What's the big thing?
He utilized his power for personal gain.
What is the personal gain?
To win the election against Joe Biden.
Right.
To destroy Joe Biden, to besmirch Joe Biden, to make people question Joe Biden, right?
What?
Now, I was going to use a naughty word there.
I could feel that one coming right there.
And I'm not going to use that naughty word because I had an apparition myself last night.
No, I shan't.
I'm not going to use that naughty word, but what is Congress and the Democrats doing right now besides abusing their office, abusing their power, using every bit of power that they have to disqualify and besmirch the integrity of their opponent?
They're doing everything.
That's what drives me crazy.
Everything that they said Donald Trump did in Russia, they did in Ukraine.
Everything they're saying he's doing now, they're doing to him.
Right.
They're saying, you know, you can't investigate your political opponent.
What are they doing?
They're doing it now.
They're investigating their political opponent.
Right.
Why?
Because they think there's that, like in theory, they believe that there's something wrong here and it's important for the country.
Isn't that what Donald Trump's argument is when it comes to Ukraine?
He believed there was something wrong going on.
And even though it was his political opponent, in this country, your political opponents don't get automatic immunity for their bad actions.
If I may quote, Mother Hillary, in this country, no one is above the law.
Am I being too sarcastic?
Because it's the only way I survive today.
Yes.
Only way I survived.
X-Chair.
Well, everyone's out panic shopping the last minute.
Either getting a combination golf club, fishing pole, combination foot warmer, Bluetooth speaker.
You know, the only classy member of the family got their shopping done in advance.
Yes.
That's not me.
But you can also keep it classy, San Diego, if you're thinking about an X-Chair.
Why not surprise that special someone with the gift of an X-Chair?
With its patented dynamic variable lumbar support in 10 different settings, the X-Chair is what you need for those around you for a comfortable workday.
It's also very, very, I mean, it's really easy to move.

It's just that high quality.

Could we hear any of the, right now they're on a motion to adjourn.
And could be extended.
Our Capitol Hill producer, Craig.
Great.
Okay, I think we've heard enough.
It's so riveting.
We just want to get you.
We want to get everything we possibly can.
I know that CNN was counting down the moments and the seconds.
14 minutes, 28 seconds, 27 seconds before Nancy calls the house to order.
Haven't seen Nancy yet.
That was about 40 minutes ago.
So kind of a letdown there.
Kind of a letdown.
I don't know.
When I don't see Nancy Pelosi, I do not consider it a letdown.
I consider that a wonderful afternoon.
But that's just me.
I just, I'm tired of like the disingenuous nature of this.
You know, you brought up the, you know, the solemn nature.
The historic thing is another thing.
I am not feeling at all, man.
So like, you're going to remember where you were on this day.
No, I want to forget it next week.
I mean, it's obviously.
I don't know where I am right now.
Right.
Wait.
It's obviously this partisan, you know, nonsense that just like it does, it just feels like another day.
So this is how they yell about Donald Trump every other day.
So this is historic in one way.
This is the day that will go down in the history books as possibly the day that finally jumped the shark and America could not return back to any kind of normalcy.
Maybe.
When America fully embraced its partisanship and corruption.
Yeah.
The day that finally the press got their way through lies and distortion.
Those things will go down as history, but that doesn't end well for America.
Just doesn't.
This is not a good thing for America.
I mean, and like, if they actually, they obviously don't care about any of this stuff.
If they actually care, let's just believe, let's just say for a second.
We need, excuse me, I think we must have Greta's how dare you on a hot button today.
Because I think he's going to thank you.
Stu's going to be saying a lot of things that that's the only response.
How dare you?
It is like, it's one of these things where they're just like, let's say you actually cared for a second.
Let's say you believed this, if you're a Democrat, it's going to be hard to put yourself in.
This is going to say, you're going to give me about 20 minutes to get there.
Right.
Let's say you believed that Donald Trump was, you know, going to manipulate this election.
You're going to steal this election.
What is the worst possible thing you could do to a person who you believed was going to do that?
Let me paint you a picture.
Okay.
Donald Trump, that's what he was doing.
He was calling up Ukraine.
He was trying to manipulate this investigation the entire time, and he was trying to manipulate the outcome of this election.
So now you're going to impeach him.
Okay.
Then he's going to get acquitted in the Senate.
You can't impeach him again before the election, right?
Now you have, he has a free pass basically to do whatever he wants because there's no increased penalty and you can give him and double jeopardy.
And yeah, right.
And you can't go back to the same stuff.
So he, who knows how many, he might be on the phone.
He might be doing conference calls.
You could hop on the party line and I'm going to be talking to all sorts of presidential from around the world just to manipulate elections.
Hey, Boris.
Boris Johnson.
Let's you and I get together.
We'll do some blow on the coffee table with the cameras rolling.
It might be trouble for you.
We might have to put a blue dot over your face, but I'm clear.
I'm clear.
And it's just infuriating.
It's like they had this.
I was listening to CNN.
You know, again, this is my fault for doing this, but I was listening to CNN and Donald Trump sent a stunning seven-page letter in which he described how upset he was about impeachment.
And he said it was a fraud.
And it goes through and they just kept saying stunning, stunning, stunning.
None of you are stunned by this.
If Donald Trump sent a letter filled with 18th century French poetry, that would be stunning.
But Donald Trump acting like Donald Trump in a letter where he complains about impeachment is not stunning.
It's exactly what you picture Donald Trump to do.
Donald Trump writing a letter while on the pot and then writing, oops, just dropped another one in the middle of the letter is not surprising.
None of you are stunned.
And you just keep saying these things over and over again.
Every day you escalate the language.
It's just like the climate stuff.
You brought up Greta.
It's just like the climate stuff.
Every day.
How dare you.
Every day you have yet another claim about how it's going to be worse and more horrible and how we can't dig a newspaper.
You're telling me we are not going to be extreme things.
You're telling me we're not going to be dead in eight years.
Justice Lost in America 00:15:44
Are you telling me?
I am telling.
Well, I don't know if I'll be dead in eight years.
Probably with the way my heating is.
I'm not going to explode.
But probably not from climate change.
I can say that.
None of this stuff is real.
How dare you?
Yeah, I know, Greta.
And none of it's real.
And they just keep attempting it anyway.
And now we're going to hear a whole day of Nancy Pelosi and her solemn voice, you know, where she looks like she's about to cry, but she has no gear ducks left.
I can't take it.
I can't take it.
Hopefully, Nancy Pelosi, when we return.
You're listening to Glenn Beck.
American Financing Corporation, NMLS, 182334, www.nmlsconsumeraccess.org.
You know, when it comes to buying that first home or even managing the mortgage you already have, navigating the waters can be tricky.
Aye, but that's why I'm here, to help you navigate them tricky waters.
Even in our present economy, which is still booming, it can be quite dicey out there.
If you're fiscally responsible, you might consider taking that leap of faith towards owning a home, but you have to be responsible.
Homeowners might benefit from refinancing their mortgage.
Are you a homeowner?
If so, I can't recommend strongly enough that you give the people at American Financing a call.
Yes, yes, they're colonists, but they've got something special going on.
Oh, I know what you're thinking.
Sounds complicated, but it's not.
And I'm saying it in an English accent so you know it to be true.
10 minutes is all you need.
Give American Financing a call today.
The future is about to get a lot brighter.
American Financing 800-906-2440 for refis or for your mortgage or just a consolidation loan.
The people to call AmericanFinancing.net.
Tonight on TV, we're going to go through all this annoying audio that you can possibly take.
Go to GlennTV, Blazetv.com.
Use the promo code GLEN20 off.
Oh, please stop with the happy Christmas music.
It is a solemn, solemn day.
If we just had to like here, maybe I can play a little requiem here because Pat Gray has joined us now.
Thank you for having me on this solemn, somber day.
It is a sacred day.
Sorry, I say it.
Sacred.
Sacred solemn.
Yeah.
I wept last night.
Oh, I but not for the president.
No, no, I wept for the Democrats who have to do this constitution.
And they don't want to.
No, this was prescribed by their adored founders.
That sacred, sacred constitution that they all keep in their pocket.
Whip it out anytime when they're thinking about spending bills.
They look, they pour over it.
Can we do this?
Should we do this?
Right.
Dare we do this.
I attended a candlelight vigil last night with Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer.
Yes.
My gosh, like we're standing in the grave.
Oh, that's nice.
You know, the impeachment vote is coming, and Nancy Pelosi will be wearing her black robes because she's in mourning.
She's in mourning on what people have to do.
Is there one person in this country that believes any of that?
Is there a single person I want to meet the person who believes that they can't be one?
No.
There cannot be one person who believes it.
And yet they all keep saying it, and then the media all keeps acting like it's real.
Oh, I heard CNN repeat the talking point the other day.
This is such a solemn, solemn, somber day for them.
As they told us.
Yeah, really?
You guys are really going to play that game that you buy into that?
The solemnity of this moment for Nancy Pelosi?
Come on.
Come on.
It was embarrassing.
It really was.
But that just shows they're the media wing now of the Democrat Party, even more so than MSNBC, which is hard to believe.
Quiet.
Quiet.
You can almost hear the weeping and gnashing of teeth.
Could we go 2,000 miles away?
Should we go now?
Yes, we must go to the House Chambers and listen to somebody saying something as they're getting ready to debate on the rules.
You could almost feel the inner tears.
Some people might think that's boredom, but it's 26, 2019.
It's solemnity you're hearing in her voice, right?
Notice she's wearing black.
Ha, there, I said it.
...the August 2019 whistleblower complaint.
Whereas on September 26, 2019, in his opening statement at a public hearing, Chairman Schiff engaged in a false retelling of the July 25, 2019 telephone conference...
Remember when they threw Amadeus Mozart into the grave with just a shovel full of lime?
This great man went down and they threw him in a pauper's grave.
That's what Donald Trump has done to our country.
And none of them want to stop it.
None of them want to be in this position.
None of them have been saying we should impeach him before he was even elected.
Not one.
They know.
They know.
That's what a solemn horrible day this is.
November 20th, request concerning certain subpoenas.
Okay, that's just enough.
That's enough.
I don't know if I could take any more of that.
Too painful.
Too painful.
Pat, will you remember this?
As long as I live.
Right.
Yes.
Where you were?
Yes.
I actually, I do think it is historic.
Well, it is.
I mean, this is number three, right, out of 45.
No, I would say this is number one.
I'd say this is number one.
The first one made a lot of sense.
The second one, you could argue that lying to the American people and using your position to lie to the American people about something like, you know, just something involving cigars might have been important.
But we decided no.
America said, no, lying doesn't matter.
So now we have Donald Trump, and all of a sudden, lying matters.
But that's not what this is about.
They're not getting him for lying about anything.
They're impeaching him because he wanted to hurt.
He used his office to hurt his opponent.
And so what do they do?
They use their office to hurt their opponent.
That's a first.
That's a first.
Yeah.
Yeah.
It's a pretty good description of it.
That's what it is.
They're only out on that one.
No, he wanted to involve foreign powers.
That's why it's okay.
That's our distinction from what they're doing, which is, you know, a minor.
This is all the only distinction, right?
I mean, they're just targeting their political opponent using their power.
And by the way, he didn't use the other country.
They didn't do anything for him.
No, they didn't do anything.
And so why are we even talking about this?
But he made a phone call.
He made a phone call.
These people have used the FBI, the State Department, the powers of the House, the powers of the DOJ for now almost four years.
They have spent millions of dollars.
He made a phone call.
They've spent millions of dollars and taken our country through hell for the last four years.
They have given us, gotten us to a place to where if you didn't think we believed the press four years ago, you still don't get it now.
You're never, ever going to get it.
We don't believe in Congress.
We don't believe in the DOJ.
We don't believe in the FBI.
We don't believe in justice anymore in this country.
And I thought it was bad during the Obama administration, but what they've done is just absolutely obscene.
Oh, I mean, I heard a report from Jim Acosta last night on this, and he's talking about the letter, which they're all so stunned about, that Donald Trump would use language like a president of the United States.
Did he say this is how he talks?
You know it.
Did he use the word fart on it?
I don't think he used the word fart.
He did spell out at one point.
That's not shocking.
No, not at all.
And, you know, they're talking about it.
And he ended his report with, and he sent a letter, and this letter contains so many lies and misrepresentations and outright falsehoods that it would take forever.
We don't even have time to go through them.
No, don't go through one.
No, no.
Show me one lie.
Can you go through one?
Could you go through one lie?
Could you go through two?
You don't have time for all of them.
I understand because it's seven whole pages.
Well, if you have time to go through one of them, I think they're still working on the 17 lies in the IG report.
They haven't been able to report that yet.
So they've got a lot of lies backing up.
They need some colon blow to be able to get through those lies and all of a sudden it's just like blow out their butt.
Yeah.
And then Jim Acosta, who is just, I mean, you want to talk about someone whose only desire in the world is people to look at him.
That's all he wants in the entire world is people to pay attention to Jim Acosta.
That's not true.
Is true.
It is not true.
What is your evidence?
When he just stands up and goes, me, me, which is what he was doing yesterday.
So he goes, he has a press conference, and Trump is there and they're asking questions.
Um, and he, and he, uh, he wants to have follow-up questions.
And the way he phrased it was so weird.
I didn't, I couldn't even understand what he was saying.
He goes, he goes, and despite the president's fury, he allowed his aides to yell over our follow-up questions.
Now, wait a minute.
What does that even mean?
Like, so if someone isn't furious, that's normally when they allow their aides to yell over their follow-up questions.
Like, the sentence structure doesn't even make any sense.
And beyond that, it was just a setup to number one in a news report say that he's furious, right?
Like, what do you mean?
I mean, of course, he's angry about impeachment, but like, you're just applying this adjective to him inside of his mind, the fury he's apparently, you know, espousing.
And then you just want to play your dumb video of you yelling a question that the guy can't even hear or doesn't answer, right?
Like, you just want to show yourself and other CNN reporters on camera doing the journalist thing because it's all about him.
And it's all about all of these people, right?
They're just on television constantly trying to make this name for themselves.
And this is why they're calling it historic because now they can say they're in the middle of this big historic thing.
It's not historic.
It's a dumb partisan piece of nonsense, which is not the word, the first word that came to mind as I was saying that sentence.
Really?
Yeah.
Did it evolve something that comes out the back ass of a bone?
Yeah, okay.
I just, I, you come back to the same thing.
No one believes the things that they are saying.
And at some point, no.
No.
No, I must correct you.
You do.
You keep correcting me.
How dare you?
Thank you.
I must correct you again.
Yes.
Nancy Pelosi, it has just been reported that Nancy Pelosi has instructed the Democrats, quote, not to gloat.
Now, wow.
How many funerals, how many solemn occasions have you been to where it was sacred and the person had to stand up and say, no, gloat, no gloating at this funeral?
Don't gloat.
I know he got ran over by a dump truck, but don't gloat about it.
Don't gloat about it.
It's that solemn.
It is that solemn.
Breaking news.
Trump poised to be the third president impeached in history, and the House is nearing that historic vote.
We will be here all day.
We will be here night, day, throughout all time, if must be, to cover this or until the end of the program.
And we're only going to take commercial breaks, you know, and then we'll just piss off and do something else and not really pay attention.
But we will come back here and pretend we are really, really, really impressed by the way this majestic system of ours is working.
Thank you, Pat.
Pat Gray, Pat Gray on Leashed.
You can find that podcast wherever podcasts are heard, I guess.
That's accurate, yes.
That's where you can find it.
All right.
So let me tell you about our sponsor this half-hour.
It's the USCCA.
They've been giving away money like crazy, like madmen.
They're crazy.
Everything must go now.
They've got their last $19,000.
I mean, it's not their last $19,000, it's the last $19,000 that they're giving away.
And they're giving away, and it all ends.
You will remember Friday where you were when it all end.
When it all ended, and the USCCA stopped giving away thousands and thousands of dollars.
This is the last chance for you to be part of this majestic, historic, religious moment.
All you have to do is text the word Beck to 87222.
The USCCA, by the way, is the audience feeling the same way we are today?
If you are as somber and as saddened, not for the president, but what Nancy Pelosi and the Democrats must do, the weight of the Constitution and all of history upon them.
I'd like to hear from you.
If you have it in you to even dial the phone, that back pocket where your phone resides most of the time may be too much of a walk for you to get today.
Beck 87222 is what you text if you want to win the $1,000 and you get 19 chances to win.
And this is it from the USCCA.
Text the word Beck to 87222.
Final chance to win, $1,000, 100% secure.
Confirmation text is going to be sent.
Standard message and data rates do apply for rules.
You can go to protectandefend.com.
You send the USCCA the word Beck, B-E-C-K, to the number 87222, and you could be a wiener.
This is the Glenn Beck Program.
Final Chance to Win Beck 00:15:29
I want you to know we're taking this impeachment vote and its place in history very, very seriously today.
We've sent our...
We've sent our executive producer, Stu Bergeard, down to the floor of the house.
And are you there?
Hi, Glenn, yes.
Hi.
Hi, I'm down here right now on the floor.
I don't see you.
Where are you?
Here, I'll wave to you.
Just look at.
Oh, I see you.
They're up there in the corner right by the desk.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Yeah, okay.
So you can see that?
Yeah, I can see you.
Okay.
Yeah, right by the lady with the red shot.
Hold on, I'll turn on my cell phone flashlight.
Just so you can see it.
Okay.
I got it.
I'm waving it.
Do you see me?
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
Turn it off, but don't turn it off too quickly.
It could cause like an epileptic seizure to somebody who might be watching C-SPAN.
I'll be very careful.
Okay, all right.
It seems like there's a lot of people with a lot of health problems down here.
They're all about 114 years old.
Yeah, yeah, I know.
It's crazy.
It's crazy.
So they're now on the motion to table.
They're voting now.
On the motion to table.
To table what?
They're looking to.
The motion is, of course, to table the impeachment.
But they're thinking about what you would do here is you'd take the impeachment and you'd table it to the motion.
But that is the motion to table.
And you're saying it's the impeachment vote, but the Democrats are voting 189 yay, and Republicans are saying no, 166.
So that would seem to not make sense.
Oh, yeah, you're right.
It's the opposite of what I said.
And so that's why I'm here to make sure I can give you the play-by-play on this very important, historic, prayerful, solemn day.
Have you seen Nancy Pelosi yet?
Has she arrived in the chamber?
Nancy is not here.
They tried to get her here for the hearing.
However, she was praying too loudly and could not hear their knocking.
Oh, my goodness.
I will say those prayers were solemn.
They were solemn.
They were solemn in nature.
But they were laughed.
But they were loud.
They were very loud.
They were very loud.
It was a combination of loudness and solemnness.
So is it possible that the Lord in the skies and the heavens above, he is old.
Is it possible he's hard of hearing?
It is possible.
However, when you say old, I believe Nancy is older.
Oh, really?
Yes.
So before the Big Bang, there was Nancy.
Yeah.
Okay.
That's the way that worked, I believe.
I'm not a scientist.
Okay.
All right.
Well, we're not here for science.
No, no.
Even though this show is award-winning, many, many science awards.
But you are not the one that brings us that science news.
You're the one who brings us things right from the floor in Capitol, on Capitol Hill, right from the floor of the House.
Yes, I want to give you one more piece of information.
If you see the way there's a little bit of a decline as you walk down towards the center of the room is not steep enough for a slinky.
I was trying it about five minutes ago.
Really?
And it will not actually maintain the momentum needed for Slinky.
Is this the evidence that we have heard from so many Democrats that the founders couldn't see the future?
So they didn't see the Slinky.
They didn't see stadium seating for a really good movie in that chamber.
That's why the Constitution is a piece of crap and we should light it on fire like we're doing today.
Because they couldn't see things like Donald Trump coming and they couldn't see the Slinky coming.
But wait, wait, wait.
No, I think the other way around.
The other way around.
The other way around than from what I just said.
And that's why I'm here, Glenn to give you the perspective you need.
Right.
Thank you so much.
Stu, there on the house floor.
You're listening to Glenn Beck.
I was shocked by- My 31-year-old daughter, my 28-year-old daughter, they had never seen Die Hard.
We watched it for Christmas, you know, the day after Thanksgiving.
We're like, we're watching Christmas movies, Die Hard.
And they were like, what?
It's good.
And it still actually holds up.
It's still pretty good.
Thank you so much, Hillary.
Let me tell you a little bit about America's home for home loans, and that is American Financing.
American Financing, I swear to you, I don't know how these people make money.
Because Stu called them and then they were like, hey, and he said, well, I found a place that will really do something sketchy.
I mean, I had to sign the paperwork in the trunk of their car.
It was a big Cadillac.
And they were like, well, if you want to deal with those, you can go ahead and deal with that.
Sarah just started to take out a home loan.
And because she's having a builder build the house, they recommended, they said, no, ask the builder for these kinds of things for a home loan because they'll pressure to get a better loan because they just want to get rid of the house.
I mean, how do they make money?
I don't know.
It's like Macy's and Gimbals.
If they can't find it, they'll find the best loan and tell you where to go get it.
It's fantastic.
It's American, AmericanFinancing.net, AmericanFinancing.net.
Good at that.
The fusion of entertainment and enlightenment.
Oh my goodness.
This is.
This is a historic day.
And we have all of the biggest heavyweights on the planet weighing in.
Everyone who has a shred of credibility on politics and history and what this means.
What this means to not only us today, but future generations of Americans, tomorrow, what it means.
People like people joining us like And also Nick DiPaolo.
And he'll be here to tell us what all of this means in one minute.
This is the Glenbeck program.

It's simplysafebeck.com.
Yes.
Yes, I must be just a wee bit solemn now.
Because this is a day of history.
This is a day we will all remember where we were.
Now, this is according to CNN, and they're right about everything.
And I know the guy who can put this into perspective for us is Nick DiPaulo, a grand historian of his own right.
Hello, Nick.
Hi, Glenn.
How are you?
And I can put it into perspective, especially CNN, because I dated Don Lemon for two years.
Really?
Really?
Oh, my goodness.
Yeah, he's a special, special guy.
I couldn't believe.
Did you see the thing from him?
What was it last week where he was acting?
In fact, do we have the acting clip?
We need this.
Any tool.
I was merely acting.
Yes, it was merely a tool.
He was merely acting.
i think it was on friday night he read a tweet from donald trump and it was that uh the tweet where the video where he was uh what's his name from the superhero superhero movies and he was going to you guys everybody's looking at me Yeah, Thanos.
Did you guys see this?
And then Don Lemon comes on and he's.
What is that?
I don't even know.
I don't recognize us anymore.
I mean, it was as bad as any William Shatner Star Trek episode.
It was that bad.
I put him right up there with Larry Staunch from F-Troop.
That guy could hit it out of the box.
I was just laughing at you saying that you were with your daughters watching Die Hard for a Christmas movie.
Come on, that's a Christmas movie.
What are you going to do on Easter?
Scarface?
That is a Christmas movie.
You don't think so?
We had a big debate around here, and it is absolutely a Christmas movie.
Yeah, I guess so because it's set there at Christmas, but there's a lot of blood and gore, machine guns, and terrorists.
You know, not exactly a feel-good, not exactly it's a wonderful life.
All right, so it's, you know, Christmas in Baltimore.
I thought they outlawed that.
Well, they've outlawed a lot of stuff in Baltimore.
It doesn't seem to help.
Doesn't seem to help.
So, Nick, what are your thoughts today on this historic moment?
CNN and the news, they all keep saying two things.
One, the House members, the Democrats, are under a lot of pressure today, and history and the Constitution is weighing them down.
Okay.
So I love when they.
Yeah, go ahead.
You know, I was going to say, so first, comment on that.
Go ahead.
Well, I love when the Democrats bring up the Constitution.
That is just hilarious.
You know, it changes from minute to minute with them.
They don't believe in it for a second.
They're trying to, you know, rebuild our society from the ground up.
But this is all hilarious.
I like it.
I'm proud of Trump.
He should be proud.
Look, he came in as an outsider.
He flipped over the apple cart.
He said he was going to drain the swamp.
So a guy like that should be getting impeached.
It shows that he's going against the grain.
That's how I feel.
He's a hero.
I always like the bad guys.
You know what I mean?
Wait a minute, wait a minute.
He's a hero.
Quote, I always like the bad guys.
Well, yes, like Tony Soprano was a, there's a phrase for it in Hollywood.
I should, I should know, but I'm never going to act.
It's an anti-hero.
Anti-hero.
Yes.
Don't you think?
I mean, for a guy who said he's going to go in there and flip out the way, you know, turn over everything in D.C. and how it works, it's natural that he would step on toes and get impeached.
I think he should wear it as a badge of honor.
I'm very proud of him.
And it wasn't for a simple, you know, he didn't have an intern playing with his president.
Yeah, right.
This is a real impeachment.
Right.
We're talking to Nick DiPaulo.
You can find him at nickdip.com, comedian extraordinaire who has never stopped being politically incorrect.
You can watch his special at nickdip.com.
It's really, really funny.
A little harsh, but...
It's about to hit a million views.
Is it?
Like, was it...
By the weekend, I will hit a million views.
So have you ever put this out in May?
Have you ever approached or been approached by Netflix or Amazon or anybody?
Yes, they told me stop doing comedy.
okay yeah i mean it's are you kidding me i'd have to be a I'd have to be a transgender Native American with a hairlift riding a donkey to take a look at this.
There's no way they would ever do that.
No way.
Yeah, that's called, that's just plain out prejudice, discrimination, whatever you want to call it.
But yes, I was saying this stuff long before, Dave Chappelle, Billy Burr.
I love how these guys are the heroes now.
I am the real thing.
I am the Bo Diddley of comedy.
You know how Chuck Berry got all the commercial success, but Bo Diddley was the real.
I'm the Bo Diddley.
That's right.
I'm comparing myself to the 110-year-old black ass IP.
Then everybody's like, the who?
The what?
That's quite an accomplishment.
Quite an accomplishment.
So the other thing I wanted to ask you on this is, how do you feel about, you know, the press has been saying, you know, it's very, a very historic day and it's, you know, all this bullcrap.
And everyone, Nancy Pelosi has been saying, you know, about how she's just been praying and how this is just a very spiritual moment.
She never says what she, she says she's always praying for the president, but she never says what she's, you know, she's praying that he dies in a car accident or she's the most evil witch on the planet.
They are psychotic.
They're not even good at what they do for a living.
All the people on the left, the Chuck Schumas, the Nadlers, they were all nerds, these kids, but they were always book smart.
That's why they became lawyers and then politicians, but they're not even good at it.
They talk about how dumb Trump was when he's running for president.
He's made them look like an ass on, what, four occasions now?
And he's going to do it again.
Did you see the polls?
You see the polls?
He's surging in the polls.
It's already backfiring on these idiots.
So what do you think is going to happen when they finally vote?
And I don't think they're going to vote.
They're supposed to vote now, but the Republicans are just throwing tire irons at them.
And so they're going to vote tonight, probably.
What happens when it goes over to the Senate?
What should happen?
And what do you think will happen?
It's going to happen.
I think Mitch McConnell's handling it beautifully.
He's already put up a saying, you know, he's saying, look, and what's his name?
Schuma has the nerve to say they should call John Bolton and Mulvaney and what's his name?
The chinless Mitch McConnell with those giant owl eyes.
Well, I'm more impartial Jorah.
This is politics.
I love what he said.
He said, There's no way in hell.
He goes, We're not going to do that after the way you treated us in the whole process where we didn't get to call witnesses in the house and all that.
He goes, You're going to get it.
You're not going to get a totally partial handling in the Senate.
So I love what he's doing.
You know, McConnell, I have mixed failings.
Dirty Politics and Apparatus 00:05:06
I don't like career politicians, but this guy, I think he's underrated.
You cannot focus on him missing his chin.
Yeah, I mean, he looks more like a turtle than an owl, but we can argue that some other day.
Not one Republican is going to, it's going to be unanimous.
Not one Republican, they talk about, oh, there's a few of them on the fence.
No, no.
No, there's going to be a shutout.
There are a few.
I think in the Senate, there are a few.
I think I could see Mitt Romney.
Romney?
Yeah.
Susan Collins, Mitt Romney.
It's those Mormons.
Don't you hate those guys?
No, I don't.
I used to like Mitt Romney told Trump ran for president.
I saw what a two-faced backstabber he is.
But I thought Romney was a decent guy.
I watched that documentary.
I go, this guy's just a good guy.
Yeah, I thought so too.
That really changed me.
I don't like that.
He's very smart and, you know, part of the corporate vulture.
But, yeah, he disappointed me.
And who else?
I don't know the other people.
I know Mulbaney or whatever his name is.
So do you think this is good that?
I mean, how do we?
I was seeing it today.
They're impeaching Trump because he was, they say, using his office to hurt his political rival.
Well, they have used the entire government.
They've used the DOJ, the State Department, the FBI.
They've used the House.
They've used all of the apparatus of government to do nothing but smear this guy for the last four years.
So when do we impeach them?
When does and I don't even I'm not looking for, you know, gotcha.
I'm looking to teach people a lesson in Washington.
You can't do this.
Yeah, I don't understand.
The beauty of this, it's all coming on the, you know, the Horowitz report coming out.
That's the backdrop of this.
And they have the nerve to look into the camera and say that stuff about Trump.
On the, you know, with the Horowitz report, proving the FBI lied to the Pfizer courts, all this.
And like you said, they used the whole apparatus to help Hillary, you know, to get rid of Trump.
And they have the nerve to look into the camera and say that Trump's a danger to our democracy.
I don't know if they're just crazy or it's willful ignorant.
I don't know what it is.
But like I said, it's showing in the polls.
Trump's creeping up, actually leading everybody but Biden, which is hilarious.
This guy's getting jello in a nursing home, and he's still in the front.
But no, you're right.
They use the whole apparatus, and then they have the nerve to say this.
So, is there just as because I think a lot of Americans are just so beaten down because they're like the bad guys, they always get away with it.
I can't get away with anything.
There is no real justice in Washington.
You know, if I was involved in any of this, we'd be nailed.
They're not for any of these.
They're not for equal rights.
They're not for equal justice.
They're not for any of this stuff.
And they continue to get away with it.
And I think the average American is like, you know what?
I can't take much more of this.
I mean, is there ever going to be a reckoning, a day of reckoning for this?
Well, that's a great question because they keep saying now, like after the FISA came out, their comment about the FBI lying to them and stuff.
Oh, we're looking.
Now the take is, well, we hope these procedures are corrected so this doesn't happen in the future.
No, somebody has to go to jail.
I agree.
I love when Chris Wallace was interviewing Comey and he goes, you're acting like you were a third party looking in on this.
You know, he goes, you were the head of the FBI when this was going down.
Well, what do the Republicans have bad lawyers?
It seems like Devin Nunez is the only guy that knows what he's doing.
But I don't understand.
That is a great question.
Why the Hillary Clintons and even Obama?
I can't believe how his name doesn't even come up in all this.
Like he didn't know about this.
Why do they not, why aren't they held accountable?
What's his name?
Is Rotting in Jail, Manifesto, and Stone?
And why?
I don't understand.
Do we have bad lawyers?
No, I think we have.
I think this is my honest opinion, Nick.
Maybe I'm wrong.
I just think that people like McConnell are dirty.
I don't think they're going to go after him because they're involved in the same kind of stuff, just on their side.
So I don't think anybody wants any of this stuff to come out.
Good take.
When I think skeletons in the closet, I think Giuliani.
Oh, yeah.
I don't know how he's out there shooting his mouth off.
I love, again, I like guys that just, you know, they're, you know, he's a wild card.
He's out there shooting his mouth off.
But I never pictured McConnell as dirty.
But again, for a guy, what's he been in politics since 1280?
Yeah, yeah, no, he's very dirty.
He and his wife are in all.
No, seriously, it's very, very dirty.
Skeletons in the Closet 00:02:13
He's a transportation.
What?
Isn't his wife like the head of transportation?
What's her name?
Cambi Asian woman?
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
She's the head of transportation.
And you know nothing.
I've never met a dirty Asian woman in my life.
Outside a couple of massage policies.
I'm not going to get.
Okay, we're not just going to stop it there.
We're just going to stop it there.

Oh, wait a minute.
Breaking News on Gabbard 00:03:25
Hang on.
We're breaking for some breaking news here.
as the house debates guidelines for trump impeachment uh we are here in the newsroom uh and our our teletypes are now just uh spitting out that we have some really important news as i seem to be getting i guess i'm too close to the teletypes now uh So let me just walk back over here.
Okay.
Apparently, absolutely nothing has happened as of yet in the House and don't expect anything to happen for quite some time.
And there we have it, our news update.
That's powerful.
We'll continue to bring you all of the important news updates.
By the way, if you're thinking about timelines today, it appears that we will not have a vote until at least probably 5.30 Eastern, probably a lot later than that, more like 7 or 8 Eastern.
Right when we're live.
What?
Well, at 5 o'clock.
I mean, we'll be Eastern time.
We'll be live, so we'll be able to.
Yeah, probably.
It's probably going to be after that, though, I would say.
Right when we're not live.
Right.
That's probably the better way of stating it.
Although, I don't know why you'd bother stating it if that was the way to state it.
We know that there are 220 votes now on record for impeachment, which is enough to get it through.
So it's pretty exciting.
I'm sitting on the edge of my seat.
I am not sure what's going to happen.
They already have the pre-vote of 220, which is, I believe, four more than they need.
And so it's quite tense here.
It's very tense because there's other people who haven't said what they're going to do yet, but it won't matter.
It won't change the outcome in any way.
I mean, there are probably two interesting people left.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
When it comes down to it, who are they?
One is Ron Kind in Wisconsin, who is in a district where Trump won by four points, and he's the only one really in a competitive district that has not announced his vote yet.
What about Peter Bogdanovich?
A great Hollywood actor and a great Hollywood director.
I'm sure he's on the list here.
Really?
Yeah.
Because that's somebody that I would be interested.
What is Peter Bogdanovich?
What is he going to do?
What is he going to vote today?
Even though he's not in the house.
I'm not sure at this time.
Whereas here's one you might actually be interested in.
One I'm actually interested in.
Tulsi Gabbard.
Tulsi Gabbard.
What is she going to do?
We don't know.
That's why I said she's undecided or unclear.
Right.
She is saying she's going to figure out today what she's going to do as far as the vote goes.
That one's interesting because I think some people on the right have kind of looked to Tulsi Gabbard as the one mildly sane, partial candidate.
The Democratic side.
I think she is.
On the Democratic side.
I don't think any of her policies are what I would call sane.
No.
But she.
But I actually really like her.
She seems, yeah, she seems like a serious person.
She's obviously served the country.
She's done a lot of good things.
In the next season of the Glenn Beck podcast, Glenn adopts a little Asian foreign kid.
And you never know what will happen.
Also, special guest star, Tulsi Gabbard, on the next season of the Glenn Beck podcast.
Sane Policies for Democrats 00:15:29
I'm not sure what's happening.
One of those is true.
One of those issues.
One of them is true.
One of them is true.
Tulsi is actually, I've talked to Tulsi about being on the podcast.
And while I don't agree with anything she says policy-wise, I think she actually does love the country and cares.
I am interested to see how she votes on impeachment this time because she is cut from the same cloth as many Americans of thinking that the Democrats are just and the whole system is just corrupt and grotesque.
Listening to Glenn Beck.

Ladies and gentlemen, as Doug Henning would say, it is magical.
It is a magical day.
And always, as always said with magic, watch the other hand.
And we're going to get to that here in a second.
Right now, Michael Burgess, who is, he's mine.
He's my congressman from my great state of Texas.
This guy I vote for.
He's actually making some really good points.
Congratulatory call between President Trump.
Where he was saying, look, this is ridiculous.
We couldn't even get our own records.
We couldn't get anything in time to actually read any of this to be able to make a reasonable judgment on impeachment.
This is a total and complete sham.
Good job, Michael.
Let me go to Daniel Horowitz because Daniel has the facts on what's going on in the other hand.
Doug Henning, illusions and magic.
What they're doing this week in Congress is obscene.
In fact, it's exactly what we should have done as Republicans.
And Donald Trump was the red herring.
Donald Trump was the one.
Watch over here.
Watch Donald Trump.
While we passed stuff.
The House has passed just an abomination of a bill.
Just what, yesterday or the day before, and Daniel Horowitz is here.
It's the omnibus bill.
Hey, Daniel.
Hey, great to be with you.
Don't you like the WWE show?
I mean, this is great.
This is crazy.
This is crazy.
It's a very solemn day, Daniel, as you know, and very sacred.
And those Democrats, the pressure they're under, you know, the weight of the Constitution is on their shoulders today.
So I'll have none of this, none of this fast talking from you, Daniel Horowitz.
Well, look, you know what, Glenn?
I got to give the Democrats credit.
If you think about what they're accomplishing, on the same day they are impeaching the president, they are getting Republican leadership in both houses, as well as evidently the president, to support a year's worth of their budget and policy priorities.
So, I mean, this is what I don't understand.
If the Democrats are so terrible and it's so terrible what they're doing, wouldn't the best way for Trump to get back at them be to impeach their bill and veto their bill or just tell Mitch McConnell he doesn't support it.
He won't bring it to the Senate floor.
Do another clean CR.
And could you imagine the theatrics?
The president would be amazing at this.
Come with, you know, a 5,000-pound stack of papers, pick up a few sections and show the random insane stuff in it, make fun out of how no one read it, and say, look, at its core, this is what people elected me to do, not just talk about changing the swamp, but actually do it.
Go back, do your homework, pass a clean CR, and let's study, debate, and even discover the provisions of this and start building a narrative for border security against sanctuary cities, 70, 30, 80, 20 winning issues.
My problem, Glenn, is, and you know, I've been pretty harsh on our movement.
The Democrats care about policy outcomes and results.
Our side seems to care about nothing more than talking points.
I agree.
I agree.
They actually believe in something and they're doing it.
Even this impeachment is tearing down our faith in the system, which helps the far left of the Democratic Party.
They believe in something.
They're doing it.
I don't know what we're doing.
Please explain the omnibus bill for Anybody who doesn't know what an omnibus is and what they've snuck in, what the Democrats have put into this thing.
It's a monster.
Sure.
So obviously there's the spending and then there's the policies.
So they don't legislate anymore.
I mean, they do nothing all year.
And again, this is a great talking point that the president can make fun of them with.
So what they do is this has become an annual ritual where they wait right before Christmas and then suddenly it's a hellfire rush to get a budget bill passed, even though they were operating on a stopgap for months and they could continue that while we discover their agreement.
But no, once they get the backdoor agreement, they put in 2,500 pages worth of stuff all into one bill.
So both the spending priorities of all 12 departments, but also any number of policy changes.
For example, do you know that they raise the tobacco age from 18 to 21?
Now, I don't smoke.
I hate smoking.
It's not my thing, but that's a big policy.
Incredible.
Nobody in the country knows about that.
You would think we would have a separate legislative debate over it.
That was stuck in by Mitch McConnell.
I mean, yeah.
And by the way, that has tax revenue.
That has revenues attached to it.
So anything that you're spending, you're now making your spending even worse because you're cutting out all the tax revenue.
So not only is it should be something that we talk about and we debate back and forth.
And again, I'm with you.
I don't like smoking.
I hate it.
Blah, blah, blah.
But, you know, wait a minute.
We're just going to jam this into a bill in the middle of the night and nobody even knows about it?
Exactly.
And God knows what else is in there.
By the way, parallel to this, they passed a 3,400-page defense authorization bill.
And we found like stuff on banning the federal government from looking into criminal history of federal employees.
I mean, that's a very contentious issue that's been debated for many years.
That's in there.
I mean, that's going to be signed by the president tonight.
Oh, my God.
God knows what else is in there.
But let's talk about the spending.
So remember the Tea Party.
I mean, you know, Glenn, obviously you remember that like it was yesterday.
The first year of President Trump, President Obama, it shocked the consciousness of a nation.
We never saw spending like that, right?
I went back and looked to see what the spending levels were for the first two months of Obama's first full fiscal year.
That's FY 2010.
It was $471 billion.
The first two months of this fiscal year, and this is before this bill, we spent $814 billion.
So no matter what, I don't have an inflation calculator in front of me now, but no matter how you slice that, that's insane.
And that was when we had 10% unemployment.
To be fair, a lot of people were on food stamps, unemployment.
Revenue was in the toilet.
Now we have 3.5% unemployment, record revenue.
What in the world are we conserving?
But that's not enough.
This bill will set the trajectory for $320 billion more in spending, but that doesn't include the tax expenditures they put in three hours before the bill.
So I haven't even looked at that yet.
And then obviously, it has a lot of terrible provisions in it, but let me give you one.
We call it the MS-13 recruitment provision.
So what they do is they prospectively invite illegal aliens to self-traffic their family.
through the cartels and be brought here and be considered unaccompanied alien children who are then reunited with them and resettled at taxpayer expense.
And in return for that, they get amnesty.
ICE is not allowed to put into removal proceedings anyone who is a sponsor.
Wait.
Wait.
I can't even get my arms around this yet.
This is in the bill.
It does what?
This is in the bill.
It's, gosh, it's, it's, um, there's two omnibus bills.
This is in the 580-page bill with DHS.
It's around page 460.
And what it basically does is it invites those who are doing the trafficking.
Those that are brief.
When you see these unaccompanied alien children, they're not random children that are captured by cartels and brought here against their will.
I mean, I think we would all want to treat them as refugees.
No.
They are self-trafficked by, let's say, agricultural workers, illegal alien parents who have already snuck into the country.
Now they want to be reunited with their kids.
So they bring them in.
Oh, but they're unaccompanied.
So they have to be treated like refugees.
They come and show up and say, hey, we're sponsoring them.
And it's their family member.
And in return for that deed, that trafficking operation, ICE cannot deport any one of those sponsors.
Now, law enforcement throughout the country has said that this is the single biggest recruitment for the resurgence of MS-13 that you're seeing in Long Island, in Virginia, in California, several other places, because this is replenishing their ranks with 16 to 18-year-old young males from Central America that either are already a part of it or certainly are prone to get involved in it.
And they also have to show their moxie and have to be particularly violent as new members to break in.
I mean, this is the type of stuff, Glenn, that we have no movement to monitor, to advocate for, to focus on.
This is the type of amnesty bill that we would have died under Hillary Clinton, that it was our worst nightmare, this would come to fruition.
They get this overnight without firing a shot.
Jeez.
It's incredible.
Tanya, there's no hope for us.
Really, there is no hope for us.
There's no hope for America if this is what we're going to tolerate.
God forbid we could have an illegal alien 9-11 tomorrow, and we will not have a movement to act on a single legislative strategy, executive strategy, a single issue.
It was Mueller the first two years, then impeachment.
The second term, if Trump wins a second term, it will be the next thing.
And here's the deal.
The left doesn't get paralyzed by impeachment.
They are out in the courts, in the states.
They might have their grifters and talking point people, but they got their serious legal and policy people.
I mean, you look at the Democrats in New York and New Jersey, the civilization battles that they're accomplishing.
Yeo-Confederate laws against immigration enforcement.
Literally just violating federal law, shielding, harboring illegal aliens, 1324-8USC, having felons vote.
But they're doing it in red states too.
Kentucky, the governor just reversed Medicaid reform and had 140,000 felons vote first week in there.
They accomplished.
They come, they see, they conquer.
Our side is happy to get on Fox News.
Is it true, too, that Danielle, in one of these bills, they have in there things that I would like in some ways, the Obamacare, some of these Obamacare taxes pulling them away.
But it's interesting in that, like, they made this big deal that Obamacare was paid for.
And it seems like the unions just keep coming in and saying, well, all the things that were paying for it now don't exist anymore, yet we keep the plan.
Is that stuck in there as well?
Do I have that right?
It's phenomenal.
And I actually oppose that.
And here's why.
So first, as a baseline, just consider there's the bigger omnibus and the smaller one.
That's in the bigger one.
Consider this.
You know how radical the Democrats are, okay, in this era.
All but seven Democrats voted for this bill.
All but seven out of what, 235 or something voted for it.
That includes Presley, Jay Paul, all these types.
So ask yourself this.
Well, suddenly they oppose Obamacare.
Here's the deal.
I call this low-tax socialism.
Here's what the Republican Party has done the last 10 years.
Here's the one issue they've conserved.
What they do is they give the corporations the one thing they want to save them from the Democrats, and that's lower taxes.
Then they turn around and serve as the enforcers of cultural Marxism, open borders, refugees, pro-criminal laws, but also fiscal liberalism, Obamacare, personal welfare, corporate welfare, everything except for lower taxes.
So what they've done is the worst mix of all.
They've repealed the funding mechanism of Obamacare, but they actually in this bill extended and expanded Medicaid and the subsidies, which is the heart and soul, and also banned some of Obama's regulatory reforms that were starting to help.
That's another thing in there.
So it's the worst mix of all.
Policy-wise, it's the worst, but also politically, because what it does is it gives the healthcare cartel the one thing that they wanted, and now they're going to turn around and enforce Obamacare and side with the Democrats.
This was the one point of leverage we had on them.
Now they're going to fully back it, which is why every single Democrats, including the most progressive ones, supported it.
Incredible.
Daniel Horowitz, senior editor of Conservative Review, part of the Blaze family.
And thank you so much, Daniel.
Worst Mix of Policy 00:02:27

Turning Point Convention Florida 00:02:25
Tomorrow I'm going to be broadcasting live from Florida.
I'm going to be at the Turning Point Convention, which Turning Point is this amazing operation that is just, what, four or five years old?
And started by millennials.
And it is, I think this, I think the Turning Point Convention is bigger now than CPAC.
And they're having it down in Florida.
And I'm going to be the keynote speaker.
And I think we have some interviews coming with, I think, tomorrow or the next day.
I hope to have Rudy Giuliani on and some other really good names that are going to be there that I'd like to share with you.
So I'll be there for the next couple of days.
Stu is going to be right here, right where he belongs, you know, away from people.
You in particular.
Yeah, no, it'll be a pretty big conference.
They have a lot of big names there, actually.
Yeah, like everybody.
Yeah, it seems like it's a big deal.
So I don't know why they invited you, but, you know, congratulations.
They have me opening up, so that should be.
People could show up late, though.
I mean, that's an easy way to avoid to be able to get the good parts of the conference without all that Glenn.
That doesn't sound very supportive.
No, it doesn't.
I apologize.
So Turning Point, really excited.
See you there tomorrow.
And I will not be bringing Stu.
Let the celebrations begin.

You know, after listening today's program and trying my best to keep a good attitude, I have to go back to the producer.
I've been looking for the scene with Zero Mostel and Gene Wilder, where Gene Wilder is like, no way out.
No way out.
I just want my blue blankie.
I just need my blue blanket.
Because that's exactly how I feel today.
Also, I thought we would take some phone calls from you as they debate impeachment.
I don't know if we have any independents or Democrats that are listening to us and are willing to call.
We have a lot, but are they willing to call in and have a dialogue?
Because I would like to know, is this working on you?
Is this, because the poll numbers show that it is falling apart for the Democrats.
Yeah, it's mixed.
The polling's mixed, I'd say.
Some polls do show that.
Some polls show very little movement.
No polls show it moving towards the Democrats, though, which is significant.
Right.
I mean, it does not, it did not work.
This was the whole point of this, right?
To move people in the middle who were gettable against the president.
Or was it just to harden people's positions?
I mean, I just don't.
There's no good motive in Washington, it seems, anymore.
So we'll talk to you about that coming up and so much more.
Oh, hello, America.
The House is voting on impeachment today.
I wonder what's going to happen.
It's so tense right now and so historic and so sacred.
Nancy Pelosi is wearing black today.
And she's, I'm not kidding.
And she's also told all of the Democrats not to gloat today.
I'm not kidding.
It's that sacred.
It's that the Democrats are feeling the weight of the Constitution on their shoulders today.
Sacred Day of Voting 00:03:21
Now, the press is saying, this a day that will live in infamy.
This a day like the moonshot.
You're going to remember where you were.
I don't think so.
I don't think so.
I think this is all bullcrap and the American people know it.
I'd love to hear your opinion.
888-727-BECK 888-727 Beck.
This is the Glenbeck program.
So I want to tell you about a great Christmas gift.
It's my pillow.
It's my pillow and the stuff that comes with my pillow.
Go to mypillow.com and you'll see what I'm talking about.
If you go there and you click on the new radio listener specials, you're going to find the pillows.
And if you're looking for a great pillow, I have to tell you, I would have never purchased this pillow.
And I would never say these things to you.
I mean, I'll tell you when I have a product that I think is really good, but I don't personally like or whatever, but a lot of people around me like it, or I don't use it.
I will never tell you.
I mean, one thing I learned, Immanuel Kant said something, you know, when I was trying to sober up.
There are many things that I believe that I shall never say, but I shall never say the things that I do not believe.
And I've tried to live by that.
And unfortunately, I've said too many things that I do believe that I shouldn't have said.
You needed another sentence on that one.
Yeah, I know, I do.
But I love my pillow.
I sleep with the My Pillow, which I would have never purchased, never purchased.
I was kind of forced to try it because Mike Lindell was coming down.
They're like, have you ever tried a MyPillow?
And I'm like, no.
Well, you should try one before Mike comes down.
And I had the wrong pillow because he makes two sizes, one for, you know, somebody whose head is two sizes too small and one who has an enormous nog and it's like Sputnik.
I was the Sputnik one.
And so he came in and he said, hey, have you ever tried my pillow?
And I'm like, yeah.
And he said, wow, you don't like it.
And I said, well.
And then he gave me the right pillow and I tried that one.
And I sleep with it every night.
And I think every night as I fluff it, I would never have picked this pillow as my pillow just because I like big down pillows and everything else.
This is so comfortable.
So if you know somebody that wants to get a great pillow or great sheets, Gaza sheets or Giza sheets are there.
They're the Gaza sheets.
Those explode.

Overhaul Damaging Politics 00:14:24
Hey, have you read this story?
The secretive federal court that approved the surveillance of former Trump campaign advisor Carter Page on Tuesday accused FBI agents of creating a misleading impression about their basis for requesting a warrant and ordered the Bureau to overhaul its process.
In a blistering order, a judge on the Foreign Intelligence Survey Court, FISA, accused the Bureau of providing false info, accused the Bureau of providing false information and withholding materials that would have undercut its four surveillance applications.
Quote, the FBI's handling of the Carter Page applications as portrayed in the OIG report was antithetical to the heightened duty of candor described above.
The judge gave the FBI until January 10 to provide the court a sworn statement detailing how it plans to overhaul its approach to future surveillance applications.
The order comes after the Justice Department, Office of Inspector General, released the port earlier this month, blah, The FBI said that it would take more than 40 corrective steps in response to the watchdog report.
Is that enough for you?
Is that enough?
Because it's not for me.
They have spent millions, millions of your dollars.
They have torn this country apart.
They have cast aspersions on this president and anyone around him.
They're all either foreign spies, Russian spies, or if you're not that, but you just say that he didn't do this, you're a Russian asset.
They have dragged people in the mud.
They have destroyed people's lives.
They have wasted our time and our money.
They have made us, they've gotten us to a point to where we don't believe in the rule of law anymore.
We don't believe there's justice in the Justice Department.
How do you believe the FBI?
How do you believe the Justice Department?
Oh, well, we're taking 40, correct?
I don't give a damn.
We're the people that are going to jail for it.
Give me the names and the people, and I don't want low-level people because there's no way this happened on the low-level.
This was all turn a blind eye at best from the top.
And my guess is it goes all the way back to the White House.
I'll bet you it goes all the way back to Barack Obama's White House.
And I want to know.
Because otherwise, I don't have any, I don't have any trust in any of this stuff.
The FISA report.
The FISA court has come out and condemned the FBI.
And I want to read it again, of quote, creating a misleading impression about their basis for requesting a warrant and ordered the Bureau to overhaul its process.
They accused, quoting, the Bureau of providing false information and withholding materials that would have undercut its four surveillance applications, end quote.
I haven't even heard that on the press.
Have you?
No.
How do you even hear that?
No.
How is it we're still having a debate on this impeachment when everything is in question now?
How can you possibly believe that anything that they are saying in Washington, if you are, if you take your sacred honor to the Constitution, if you have, I have a sacred honor to the Constitution.
I must obey the Constitution.
How can you stand in that chamber and actually debate anything when the FISA court blows up the entire Mueller report and says none of this should have happened?
The FBI lied to us.
Yeah, but that was a different case.
Oh, so they were completely on the up and up on this one, where we can't even talk to the witnesses.
We don't even know who they are.
This is insane.
And it's remarkable, and all this goes on, no one pays attention to it because they're talking about impeaching him over something else.
Their, you know, second or third or fourth or fifth idea as to what they're going to impeach the guy over.
Because they abused, listen to this, because he abused his power to destroy a political enemy.
That's what they say.
What's this?
What the hell is this?
What is this?
Exact same thing, except it really happened here.
I mean, this is now we've gone through the report.
Remember, we just learned about this call a few weeks ago.
They haven't even had the people who were involved in it testify.
You know, this is something that they've actually looked into for a long period of time, have proven it basically beyond a reasonable doubt, at least in my mind.
Is it possible?
Is it possible that this impeachment, the reason why they rushed to this impeachment, was not having anything to do with all of the corruption in Ukraine, but had everything to do with the corruption at the FBI that they were all part of on the Mueller report.
And layer on top of that, it's a nice distraction to pass a gigantic spending bill, some of the details we went through later.
They got every union giveaway they could have ever imagined out of this trade deal.
And the president is going to sign it tonight.
I mean, I'll say, look, you know, Trump is in the middle of being treated incredibly unfairly when it comes to this impeachment.
However, he himself said he would not sign another spending bill like this.
And this is another spending bill like this.
Oh, this is worse.
I mean, this is this is as bad as it's ever gotten.
And that's only one of three that are going through right now.
The defense thing has all sorts of nonsense in it as well.
And the trade thing, which I know a lot of people are saying is a political victory for the president.
It is essentially NAFTA plus union giveaways.
That's what they got.
And they got some modernization in there.
They got some modernization in there, which was needed when it comes to new digital copyright stuff, but nobody cares about it.
Oh, some of the TTPs, TPP, almost all.
It's all in here.
All the stuff that the TPP got shot down for is in here.
Some of which I don't mind, honestly.
Some of it is not bad, but some of it is.
And then they had, because the Democrats got control of the House, they had to go beg Nancy Pelosi, please pass this.
What do you want to pass this?
So she came up with a laundry list of things that Democrats have wanted to get done for decades, and they stuck them in this bill.
So now all, you want to talk about, you know, we're talking about car prices going through the roof.
I mean, they're now, you know, because the unions have been on the downgrade or on the downside for a long time here in the United States.
So what do they do?
They need more people.
This bill assists the unions and Democrats in unionizing Mexico.
So they're going to raise a lot of the stuff still going to be made in Mexico.
They're going to raise the rates and unionize people in Mexico so the unions benefit from that with a massive new audience that they get lots and lots of cash from.
And your prices go up.
You get to pay for that.
And that's all in this bill, you know, which the Republicans got nothing out of.
Nothing.
Other than the ability to say we passed a trade bill.
And that's probably the best of the three bills going on right now outside of impeachment.
I mean, impeachment has, this is exactly the tactic that we talked about for a long time that the Republicans should have been utilizing.
I'm telling you.
Which is like, you know, when they're not focusing on your policy stuff, they're focusing on stuff like this.
You can get lots of stuff through.
And the Democrats are doing it.
Republicans aren't.
Pitchforks and torches are going to be a part of our future if we don't stop this madness now.
We have to stop this madness now.
Somebody in the House and the Senate has got to stand up and say, enough.
Enough.
We have trampled on the American people and their trust enough.
Because what is happening now is insane.
And everyone within the sound of my voice who takes a second and is honest and will say, yep, the Republicans suck at this.
The Democrats suck at this.
They both suck at this.
You know, you know we are that far off the track.
You know it.
Anyone who has a shred of credibility knows the whole thing sucks.
And Donald Trump has the chance to do it.
But for some reason, he's not.
For some reason, he's not saying, stick your omnibus bill where the sun don't shine.
But he won't do it.
I mean, he doesn't want to deal with the government shutdown.
And you understand the politics around that can be damaging.
No, but not for him.
He could get away with it.
He could do it.
He's got a bunch of sniveling Republican, spineless people around him.
Okay.
Back in just a second.
I want to talk to you.
And I really want to talk to people who maybe didn't vote for Trump last time.
How are you feeling today?
If you're a Democrat, if you're an Independent, how are you feeling today?
Has this one you over at all?
Yeah.
Any of this?
Has any of this won anybody over to the other side?
Because I don't think any of it has.
No, I think it's been I think it's done the opposite.
The only thing I think it's done is it's taken some people in the middle who may have considered impeachment in some circumstance and has said, OK, well, this isn't enough.
They're obviously throwing this together.
But if he's not willing to take this and clean out the swamp now, what good is he?
I mean, the good thing is here, he's been a landmine over and over and over again, and he's exposed all this stuff.
You've got to follow through on it now.
It's not enough to expose it.
It's worse to expose it and then just go, okay, everybody look the other way.
And that's all the damn attorneys.
All right.

John in Florida, welcome.
Hi, Glenn.
Listen to your show every day as I'm coming home from work.
And this morning when you were doing your Nancy Pelosi imitation, I was laughing so hard I had to pull off the side of the road.
All right.
Thank you.
I'm a gay man.
I'm an independent.
I've voted third party most of my life, voted third party in the last election, but I will now crawl over broken glass to vote for Donald Trump.
Okay, so what?
Have just destroyed their party.
Right?
And it's not even that you're, it's not even that some people, I think, are going to vote for Donald Trump as much as it is a vote against what's happening.
Exactly.
Thank you very much, John.
Thank you so much for listening.
All right, get a good night's sleep.
Let me go to Ben in Florida.
Hello, Ben.
Hi, Glenn.
I'm glad you made the...
Hello?
Yeah.
Yes, go ahead.
Yeah, I can.
I'm glad you made the pick for in the torch reference because I am angry, and this is what I feel like doing, because there's no such thing as we the people anymore.
This is a bunch of rat crap, and everybody knows it, and I'm so sick of Pobosi and doing a whole lot of them.
A whole lot of them.
And it's not just, I feel the same way about the Republicans.
There is no servant.
When they say, oh, he's been a lifelong public servant.
Shut up.
A servant doesn't make more than the person they're working for.
A servant doesn't tell the master what to do all the time.
They're not public servants.
They're pigs at the trough.
Maybe it's just me.
Iran and Benghazi from King Obama.
Did they forget about that?
Yeah.
Yeah, they have.
But I don't think the American people have.
Margaret in Michigan.
Hello, Margaret.
Whoops.
Hello.
That's right.
We taught Margaret a lesson.
I'll say that.
We lost her.
Ron.
Servants Are Pigs at Trough 00:04:37
Sorry, Mark.
Go ahead, Ron.
Pennsylvania?
Yes, Ron.
Are you there?
Yeah, how are you doing?
Yes.
I did not vote for Donald Trump the first time.
I am an independent.
But what's going on before then, we always wind up voting for the lesser of two evils.
Okay?
And I think if he gets back in right now, it's probably going to be the best thing to happen to our country because of what we have.
That's my feeling about it.
It's not going to be the best thing?
Well, the fact of the matter is that it will be.
Is the best that we have.
We don't know anything else.
All right, so you didn't vote for critic of Donald Trump, bigger volta than you.
The only thing I didn't have any cheese doodles.
I couldn't find any.
But seeing what he's done, I mean, think about it.
What better thing do we have?
Well, if the option is between this and socialism, there's no question.
There's absolutely no question.
But we.
100% correct.
I will choose this over socialism.
Thank you, Ron.
Appreciate it.
You're very welcome.
You know, the thing that's missing here is the media.
That used to be, up until Woodrow Wilson, the media used to believe that it was the voice of the people.
It was the one that protected the people, the interests back home.
They no longer believe that.
They believe they are above the people and they know what's right.
And so they won't search for the truth.
The truth is here.
It is so transparent.
We're on the rooftops shouting the truth.
But no one seems to care, at least those in power.
Let me go to Peggy in Ohio.
Hi, Peggy.
Hi, Glenn.
I agree wholeheartedly with you.
And we have to remember we have to keep praying.
We have to be diligent.
And I really feel, I would love to see when the vote takes place for every conservative independent in this country to just stop.
I'm 67.
This is the first time I have felt good about my vote.
I've waited for a man like this, and I don't care what he tweets or anything else.
He is a man of God and the first one.
I didn't plug my nose to vote for him.
I was for him right away.
And I never watched a thing on him before this.
Thank you so much, Peggy.
I appreciate it.
I think there's a lot of minds being changed towards Donald Trump because of the media and because of this unfair process.
I could be wrong, but I've had enough.
Back in a minute.
This is the Glenbeck program.
I want you to do something.
I want you to take out your phone.
And when I say go, I want you to remotely start up your grill from wherever you're at.
Go.
You can't do it, can you?
If you have a Rectec grill, you can.
If you have, the grill has Wi-Fi connectivity and your phone, wherever you are, you want to start heating it up.
You're coming back home and you need to get dinner ready.
You don't have to worry about starting the grill when you get there, make sure it's the right temperature.
You can start it from your phone or anywhere.
This is the techie part of this grill.
The rest of it is just rock solid, just rock-solid best grill you've ever seen.

No, I can't.
It's going to be fun.
This is not helpful, Stu.
You're not helping my mood.
I came in here.
If anybody listens to this program and you listen to the beginning of this program and you hear what a good mood I was in, I was in a great mood.
Oh, you're clearly on drugs.
Let's be honest.
I don't know what the mood was, but it was clearly caused by some of the children.
It was holiday cheer.
That's what it was.
Nothing was going to make me, nothing was going to get me down.
Nothing was going to stop me.
Nothing going to break my stride.
Is that Matthew Wilder?
How do I know that?
It's a sad thing that you do know that.
Anyway, I came in.
Are the kids calling this stuff Christmas Cheer now?
Is that what the street name is?
And now.
Hey, buddy.
Bloods of Christmas cheer.
And now I am just hopeless.
Hopeless.
I blame this mainly on Daniel Horowitz.
I blame this on you.
Although I did think it would be good for him to come on.
I blame this all on you.
You are the Grinch.
You didn't look like the Grinch wearing that stupid green sweater.
I don't.
Was the Grinch wearing a green sweater?
No, but he was just green.
He was green.
That's true.
Look, I am not the one who sets the world up.
I'm not the one that makes all these decisions.
Unfortunately, everything would be perfect if I did it.
You know what?
Maybe we do need a bigger government, but I need to lead it because that's what everybody apparently in Washington thinks.
You know, here's the thing about Donald Trump.
You know, he's going to be a dictator.
He's a dictator.
He has cut the bureaucracy almost in half.
You know, dictators, they add layers of bureaucracy.
They don't cut layers of bureaucracy.
And he's cut it almost in half.
All the regulations that he's got that makes us more free.
I mean, the problem is, of course, we've got thousands of pages of bills here that are adding more layers on top of what he cut.
I know, and I don't know why he's not going to stop talking to you.
No, it's been better than it would have been for sure.
Stopping talking to you.
And there have been a lot of really good changes as we've talked about.
I don't know why you keep a whole time.
Let me go to Judy in Pennsylvania because I'm done with Stu.
Hi, Judy.
Good morning, gentlemen.
First off, I want to offer my condolences to Margaret.
We lost her earlier in your life.
Yes, we did lose her.
And I understand services are going to be held Thursday for our Lady Queen of Martyrs.
Thank you very much.
Thank you very much.
I got your laugh.
All right, good, good.
See, that's why I'm talking to you and not to Stu.
Well, and I love you too, dear.
Anyway, Merry Christmas.
Thank you.
You're welcome.
With Mr. Horowitz, I liked what he said, impeach this bill.
I got on the phone and I called the White House comment line and I emailed the president and I said to him the following, impeach this omnibus bill that they passed in the middle of the night last night.
Use it as theater for yourself.
Use it to your advantage.
You're good at this.
Do it.
You know, I think you're exactly right, Judy.
He listens to his constituents, but not enough people know about what's in this omnibus bill.
This is a nightmare.
This is every Christmas gift the Democrats have ever wanted, and he's supposed to sign it tonight.
And he should stop right now and reject it.
He said he would never sign another one of these things again, and he's going to.
And this is the worst we've ever seen.
And Judy, I think you did the right thing.
Everybody should tweet.
Mr. President, you're the only one.
You're the only one that stands in the way of corruption and Christmas for all of the socialists.
Veto and impeach this omnibus bill.
Don't sign it.
Everyone should tweet real Donald Trump that message right now.
This is a nightmare bill.
And they're doing it right now because, why?
Because everybody's distracted on impeachment.
Let's go to Stephanie.
Hello, Stephanie.
Welcome to the Glenbeck program.
Hi.
I just, you know, I think the Omnibus bill, and I also, is that connected to the HR 1111?
What is H.R. 1111?
Can you look that up?
The UN bill, you know, I know that it's connected to the new world power, the UN, and changing our ability to, just, I mean, it really is connected to changing the way we do politics in foreign countries.
Well, so is the omnibus bill, and so is the NAFTA bill.
The NAFTA bill has us answering because a lot of that TPP stuff is in the new NAFTA bill that everybody's celebrating that has all of those, you know, us answering to foreign countries and to foreign courts that we have nothing to do with, that we were all against with, you know, the TPP, Ched Cruz, everybody's standing up.
We can't do that.
Well, it's in the NAFTA bill.
Why are we doing it now?
If we couldn't do it then, why are we doing it now?
If it was so bad then, why is it so great today?
Such a downer.
I mean, I was in a good mood, and all you're doing is whining.
What is HR 1111?
Basically, I mean, the long and short of it, did not get into a whole new issue today, is it has a very small chance of passing at this point.
It's not going anywhere right now.
They haven't tucked it into the omnibus.
Not as far as we know.
Not as far as we know at this point, but it was just introduced.
It hasn't even passed out of committee or anything.
But it is something that we'll keep an eye on.
What is it?
It's the Department of Peace Building Act of 2019, Barbara Lee.
Oh, my gosh.
It's not going to be good.
You're not going to like it.
No more.
Ross in Florida.
You're on the Glenn Beck program.
Hi, Glenn.
You know, the one thing that the Democrats would like better than no Trump would be a Trump that they could control.
Yes.
You remember Arnold Schwarzenegger in California?
He came in like a lion.
Then he stood up to the teachers' unions and everybody else.
And the next thing you know, he was being led around by a caller.
And it looks to me on the eve of all this signing, you know, they're holding him.
And I wonder if this would break him, something like this.
No.
No, nothing I have heard.
Have you heard anything, any talk like that, Stu, that this is breaking him and he's acquiescing to the Democrats?
Well, I mean, these bills are not good bills.
They're not bills that Donald Trump would have run on.
Donald Trump doesn't read them.
No, no, and I think that's, I think he wants to avoid the problems associated with saying no to these things.
I think he sees the trade bill as something like he promised to get through and he had to take these, you know, these union giveaways to get the bill through.
And I understand, look, there's always calculation with this.
It's easy to kind of sit back and say, oh, these are easy decisions.
But in reality, we are talking about massive expenditures, massive increase in government size, massive increase in government regulations in three bills that are going through right now while everyone's talking impeachment.
Yeah, this is what we should have done as Republicans.
We could have passed any freedom thing, any freedom thing.
We could have passed it during all of this stuff with impeachment or the talk of impeachment when the Republicans had the control of the House.
We could have passed all of it.
He was such great distraction.
Well, hello.
They've just done that to us.
They have all this distraction going on.
And in the meantime, while they're talking this week before Christmas, when nobody's really paying attention, and if you are paying attention, you're only paying attention to impeachment.
They're getting every Christmas gift they have wanted for decades in these bills.
And they're passing, and the president's going to sign the omnibus tonight.
And Daniel Horbitz put it so well when he said, when Democrats are going and they're doing all this crazy stuff, they have enough people who continue to think about policy and legislation, and they continue to push those things through while everybody on the Republican side just wants to get on Fox News and talk about stuff.
And so we're...
We're pathetic.
The exception to this, I would say, would be judges, right?
Like what the Republicans have done with judges is what they should have been doing with all this other stuff.
And nobody knows about that.
And we do have to point that out.
With the judges, that's Mike Lee and Ted Cruz and others.
And they are.
And the president going to the president.
And the president and the president's society recommending.
It's been a very good process for Republicans.
Really good.
It's been, for some reason, the only place they've implemented it.
Yeah.
And I don't know why.
I don't know either.
Okay, let me go to Ryan in Florida.
Hello, Ryan.
You're on the Glenbick program.
Hey.
Hey, Glenn.
Hi.
Hey, so I was just curious.
There's a Trump rally tonight in Battle Creek, Michigan.
And I don't know if maybe you could encourage some of your listeners who may be going out to the event to maybe chant like no omnibus.
I think that would be really good.
Get a chant going.
Bring signs.
No omnibus, no omnibus.
I think what's tough here, though, is like, you know, he's going to be, they think he's likely going to be on stage when the impeachment actually occurs, which is going to be an amazing moment.
I mean, you know, it's impossible to run a White House with all this stuff going on.
And you have some sympathy for that.
I mean, but we don't need to be actively signing bad bills at the same time.
I can understand, you know, you might not be able to get everything you want to get done in this climate, but there's no reason to sign things you don't want.
If he was on stage while they did this and he was taking apart the omnibus bill and he was showing how horrible that thing is, and I'm sorry, you're not going to scare me away.
You're not going to get me to kowtow to all of your crazy socialist utopia deals.
No.
I told you once I'm not going to sign it.
I don't care what you do to me.
No.
Oh, my gosh.
It would rock the world.
Boris Johnson is doing this stuff.
Boris Johnson is.
He just went through hell just like Trump is going through hell.
And he called them on their bluff, and now he's dismantling them.
And I hope and I pray that Donald Trump will do the same thing.
Fighting Socialist Utopia Deals 00:02:06
Okay, let me tell you about LifeLock.
Do you remember when you inherited that million dollars from that Nigerian prince that you were related to?
You didn't even know it.
And then out of nowhere, he just sends an email to you, and you just needed to send him a couple hundred dollars because that's all he needed to be able to open up the accounts.
And then he needed your account number so you could just send it right to him.
Do you remember those good old days?
Boy, how things have changed.
Now we're talking about cyber criminals that are calling you where the ID on the phone, the caller ID, states this is who they are.
And it's not.
I mean, it's really sophisticated now.
And a lot of it's being run out of Russia and Ukraine and all of those old states, Soviet corruption.
So what are you going to do?
You're going to spend all your time worrying about it?
You're going to spend your time trying to fight it?
You're not going to be able to do that.
That's where LifeLock comes in.
LifeLock will see the things that you're going to miss on your own.
Lifelock, they can't stop all cybercrime.
They can't monitor all transactions at all businesses, stop all identity theft, but they're the best out there.
And they're going to get the things that you miss.
So right now, you can get 25% off your first year if you call 1-800-LifeLock or visit lifelock.com.
Use the promo code Beck, promo code Beck at lifelock.com.
Or you can just call them at 1-800-Lifelock, 1-800-Lifelock or Lifelock.com.
Promo code Beck.
You're listening to Glenn Beck.
We have, on this historic, sacred day of mourning, really, for the Democrats, we have some breaking news on what is happening.
Contest Between Political Parties 00:04:01
They have been now at it for about two and a half hours, and we have our own Steve Bregeer down on the floor of the house to tell us what's going on.
That's right, Glenn.
Hey, we got our traffic and weather coming up as well.
And I want to make sure you remember to get to that this hour.
You forgot it last hour.
It's traffic and weather on the twos on the fours and on the four and a halfs.
Plus, we then go to just traffic at the fives, and we're going to go with the weather only at the six, followed by lottery numbers and your horoscoops.
Okay, we've got all of that coming up next hour.
But first, tell us what's happening on the floor because we now have the House voting on the rules for the Trump impeachment.
I tell you, I'm right here on the House floor right now, and it's amazing to see this happen.
Right above us is a bunch of runners in white, and their numbers are kind of ticking up.
There seems to be a contest of some sort between two political parties, the Democratic Party and the Republican Party.
There's also one independent who apparently in this entire country only one person decided to be an independent, which is pretty amazing.
There's a big kind of scoreboard above our heads.
It's not actually above your head.
You're just watching C-SPAN.
I can hear the guy from C-SPAN behind you.
So anyway, I just want to say it looks like right now they're voting on the rules to figure out how they can talk about the thing they're going to vote on later, in which we all know the outcome.
This is an amazing process.
What an amazing experiment in democracy in a republic.
It's really working out.
I mean, I want to tell you, this is got to be much better than the Founding Fathers ever could have dreamed.
Now, I have heard that Nancy Pelosi, you know, she's not there.
She didn't.
She's not even there.
Do you know where she is?
Well, she's a little too solemn to be on camera right now.
She's a little too clever.
She did dress in black.
She did.
She dressed in black to show everyone.
All right.
But she was prayerful and solemn.
Right.
And you know, it's interesting.
She's dressed like she's at a funeral, and the country's about to die.
So this is really working out well.
All right, so, but she's not in the house.
Do you know where she is?
Chipotle.
She's at a Chipotle nearby.
Really?
Yes.
She's ordering a ball with the brisket thing or whatever that is.
So is she at a Chipotle because Chipotle kind of sounds like.
No, she's not a Chipotle.
She's at a Chipotle.
Chipotle.
She's not at a Chipotle.
Right.
She's at Chipotle.
Is she there?
Because it's kind of South American, which also Catholicism is South American.
And, you know, there are a lot of Catholics down there.
So she's very, very Catholic.
She's incredibly Catholic.
You want to talk about it.
She's basically, I would say she's Pope 2.
If right now, I'm pretty sure the Order of Succession right now, if the Pope were, God forbid to step down for any reason, Nancy Pelosi would step right in, and she would be the most Catholic Pope in history.
Number one Catholic.
She's overly Catholic, even to the current Pope.
And the only thing that she doesn't think too Catholic about is killing about 60 million babies.
That thing is, that's not really too, that's not the Catholic part that she likes.
Right.
The whole keeping babies alive thing is going to be kind of a secondary interest for her, but she's very, very prayerful about impeaching a president that's not going to get removed and it's going to do absolutely nothing.
But keep those babies dead.
Okay, there on the house floor is our very own Stubergear with a play-by-play.
Not the kind of coverage you're going to get everywhere, but that's what you pay us for.
You pay us to take it and take it, you know, just cut the heart right out of it and show it to you and say, this is your country.
And then watch the beating heart die.
We should have Merry Christmas.
No way out.
