[00:01:04] I might throw a Pfizer in there as well. [00:01:06] Why would you go Johnson Johnson second? [00:01:08] Because they're going to come back with a vengeance. [00:01:09] Oh, you think so? [00:01:10] Yeah, I heard her with a vengeance. [00:01:12] They really fixed that baby powder. [00:01:13] Wait, they didn't? [00:01:14] I've been using that shit to this day. [00:01:16] That's when my taint itches, bro. [00:01:18] I was in a fight with my girl. [00:01:19] I had to stop the fight to itch my ass. [00:01:22] Bro, that was the worst thing I've ever. [00:01:24] Because I'm sitting down and she's like, can we just sit down and talk about this? [00:01:27] I'm like, all right, yeah. [00:01:28] And I kept rubbing my butt into the seat, thinking it would scratch the ass, and it wouldn't scratch enough. [00:01:33] And I just had to get up at one point and dig my fingernails into my ass. [00:01:36] Fucking Talcum pattern from Johnson ⁇ Johnson. [00:01:38] It's Pfizer and AstraZeneca all the way. [00:01:42] Did you pause the argument? [00:01:43] Say what? [00:01:43] Did you pause the argument? [00:01:44] I didn't pause the argument. [00:01:46] Scratch, scratch. [00:01:46] She heard it. [00:01:47] I thought I did 20 seconds time out. [00:01:48] I thought it was the full. [00:01:50] I'm going to be the full. [00:01:51] What the fuck? [00:01:51] You're already. [00:01:52] I go, yo, 20 second timeout. [00:01:54] I'm getting my ass kicked in this argument. [00:01:58] I got to drop a new play. [00:01:59] I got to go back. [00:02:01] We need to start doing that during fights, bro. [00:02:03] If we lose in badges, man, water break. [00:02:07] You couldn't even do that with your dead arm this weekend. [00:02:11] My left arm completely motionless. [00:02:14] Yeah. [00:02:15] Could not move it. [00:02:15] My girl was getting away with all sorts of shit, bro. [00:02:18] Couldn't discipline her at all. [00:02:24] She was bossing me around and shit. [00:02:25] I was like, girl, what? [00:02:27] Whatever, bro. [00:02:27] Watch come Tuesday. [00:02:28] See what happened. [00:02:29] But I'm back. [00:02:30] Full mobility. [00:02:32] Sudden, we went to a movie this weekend, right? [00:02:37] And it just so happened, just so happens that my girl might have had a romantic liaison in the past with one of the actors from this movie. [00:02:52] Okay? [00:02:53] Yeah. [00:02:54] Okay. [00:02:55] I'm sitting in the theater, the eye pick, super comfy, but not so fucking comfy. [00:03:01] Okay. [00:03:02] And this is how jealous I am. [00:03:04] I'm not going to say which movie it was, but I'm watching this shit like that. [00:03:06] You better not, boy. [00:03:08] You better not. [00:03:10] Right now, just googling what movie theaters are playing in. [00:03:13] What this past weekend. [00:03:15] I'm watching this shit, and I'm like, if King Kong and Godzilla don't kill this motherfucker, die, bro. [00:03:23] Die. [00:03:24] You know how painful this shit was? [00:03:26] I'm watching this motherfucker save Earth and I can't even lift my arm to put it in to get some popcorn. [00:03:31] How pitiful I felt, bro. [00:03:33] She watching him save Earth like baby can't fix it. [00:03:37] Literally, at one point in time, motherfuckers saving the earth, right? [00:03:41] Fighting Godzilla. [00:03:42] Okay? [00:03:43] And I literally went like this. [00:03:45] And then I just switched arms to get popcorn out the bucket, bro. [00:03:51] Never again. [00:03:53] My girl wanted to talk to me. [00:03:54] She's like, I honestly didn't know that he had this big a role in the movie. [00:03:58] I was like, oh, did you not? [00:04:00] You thought it was just going to be all Godzilla and King Kong. [00:04:02] You come up with IMDB one time before the freaking movie? [00:04:05] Couldn't do one Google search? [00:04:07] How does that come up? [00:04:08] Say what? [00:04:09] How does that come up? [00:04:09] Like, how does what come up to yourself? [00:04:11] After the movie. [00:04:12] It's come up a few times. [00:04:13] Oh, okay. [00:04:15] Oh, okay. [00:04:16] I think you just got to do it. [00:04:17] No, I knew going in. [00:04:18] Got it. [00:04:18] I knew going in. [00:04:19] I knew about it, but I didn't know that person was in it. [00:04:23] You know what I mean? [00:04:24] That's why I don't like knowing any past. [00:04:26] I don't want to know any single past. [00:04:28] I don't want my girl to know any past about me. [00:04:30] You know what I mean? [00:04:31] She could be scrolling. [00:04:36] Whatever app got loser bitches, bro. [00:04:41] Is there an app for loser bitches? [00:04:48] But yeah. [00:04:52] Watching basketball wives. [00:04:53] Like, what? [00:04:53] What? [00:04:55] I ain't fucking know badzo lives. [00:04:56] Come on. [00:04:58] You can't fill that void. [00:04:59] Damn. [00:05:00] So did it ruin the movie for you? [00:05:02] Yeah, it ruined the movie for me. [00:05:03] Did you trash it? [00:05:04] Did you trash his performance? [00:05:05] Say what? [00:05:05] Trash his performance? [00:05:07] I had everything ready. [00:05:08] Did you melt him? [00:05:09] I thought my man was going to die. [00:05:11] You should have treated him. [00:05:12] Yo, he's melted. [00:05:15] Oh, God. [00:05:16] Godzilla squashed his boss. [00:05:18] He's melting off that. [00:05:20] He can't commentate this fight at all. [00:05:23] Godzilla versus Kong. [00:05:26] It's that same energy when you're talking to King Kong. [00:05:30] He was like, yo, Godzilla's so good. [00:05:32] Godzilla's a tool, bro. [00:05:33] Yeah, you out there telling how cool Godzilla looks, how spiky he is, and shit like that. [00:05:37] Now you go in the room with King Kong. [00:05:38] You're trying to feed bananas. [00:05:41] You got bushels of bananas for King Kong. [00:05:44] Nah, bro. [00:05:45] I was waiting for that motherfucker to die. [00:05:46] When he died, I was about to be like, see? [00:05:50] That's it. [00:05:52] See? [00:05:53] See, choose wisely. [00:05:55] Yeah? [00:05:56] Fuck, boy. [00:05:58] Stupid motherfucker. [00:05:59] Motherfucker was trying to say funny lines in the movie. [00:06:01] I'll just look at my girl. [00:06:02] I'm like, laugh at this shit. [00:06:03] I dare you. [00:06:05] I dare you like this motherfucker. [00:06:08] Did you heckle the movie? [00:06:09] Be honest. [00:06:09] I was so close, bro. [00:06:10] Hilarious. [00:06:13] You're the funny guy, man. [00:06:14] Everyone's laughing. [00:06:16] Look at this theater. [00:06:16] Oh, yeah. [00:06:17] You guys all laughing, right? [00:06:18] Man, you guys got jokes. [00:06:20] Do the fight, bro. [00:06:34] Yeah, I'm looking like, keep your fucking clothes on, bro. [00:06:37] Taking your fucking clothes off for what, bro? [00:06:39] Like, for what? [00:06:41] For what? [00:06:41] Drown. [00:06:42] Have y'all seen the movie at King Kong versus Godzilla? [00:06:45] Has he local? [00:06:45] No, don't see that. [00:06:46] I'm for sure going to watch it. [00:06:47] Don't see that. [00:06:48] Oh, yeah. [00:06:48] That shit is stupid. [00:06:49] Low-key is fire, but that shit is dumb. [00:06:52] You know what I mean? [00:06:54] More people got to die. [00:06:56] Yeah. [00:06:56] That's all I got to say about that. [00:06:58] How was your guys' weekend? [00:07:03] That's a crazy life, though, that you live. [00:07:05] What's that? [00:07:06] That, like, I don't know. [00:07:06] Like, I got to worry about going to Whole Foods and seeing some guy. [00:07:10] You know what I mean? [00:07:11] Like, I can't even see major motion pictures. [00:07:14] That's what I'm saying. [00:07:15] What you're saying is, I should have married a Catholic. [00:07:18] I think that's what you're saying. [00:07:19] Yes? [00:07:19] Fuck. [00:07:20] Are you ever worried about that? [00:07:22] How would I be? [00:07:22] What? [00:07:23] How would I be? [00:07:23] We're both virgins. [00:07:25] Oh, really? [00:07:25] Yeah. [00:07:26] You snatched that? [00:07:27] Yeah. [00:07:27] Yeah. [00:07:28] Yeah, dog. [00:07:28] Yo, you took that V card? [00:07:30] Yeah, bro. [00:07:31] Yeah, dog. [00:07:31] That's what I do, dog. [00:07:32] Really? [00:07:33] You only had sex with virgins, actually. [00:07:35] Now that I think about it, you know what I mean? [00:07:37] That's respect. [00:07:38] I don't know. [00:07:38] That kind of makes me feel weird, dude. [00:07:39] Wait, why? [00:07:40] Why? [00:07:40] I don't know. [00:07:41] That's a little kind of predatory, dude. [00:07:43] Yo, only virgins? [00:07:44] That's predatory. [00:07:46] I'm a predator. [00:07:46] I'm down to pick on him now, too. [00:07:49] Godzilla's weird too, bro. [00:07:51] I'm predatory. [00:07:52] So that's some liberal cup shit. [00:07:58] Akash is a liberal, dude. [00:07:59] Mark comes to me the other day. [00:08:01] He goes, listen, I found white people's N-word. [00:08:04] I go, I go, isn't that the word? [00:08:06] White people's N-word? [00:08:08] I thought that was the N-word. [00:08:09] He goes, no, no, no, no. [00:08:10] Like a word they're offended by, like the N-word. [00:08:14] I was like, what is it? [00:08:14] He goes, liberal cuck, bro. [00:08:17] If you just call a white person a liberal cuck, the more conservative they are, the more it infuriates them. [00:08:24] And Mark is telling me he went back to like his family reunion. [00:08:28] What was Easter or something? [00:08:29] I don't know what the fuck is. [00:08:31] Family reunion. [00:08:32] He was just going. [00:08:33] He was just going to his brothers and shit. [00:08:36] He's like, bro, have you been reading more hugging and posting like that lately? [00:08:40] I don't know. [00:08:41] You just see a little more liberal or whatever. [00:08:46] Under their skin and Akash is spinning right now. [00:08:49] Akash is furious because you were being very mean, bro. [00:08:53] I was being mean? [00:08:54] Akash said you bent over at the waist to tie your shoes. [00:08:57] He's like, what kind of liberal shit is that, bro? [00:09:01] Yo, come on. [00:09:02] You bend over at the waist to tie your shoes, bro. [00:09:05] I just don't see a more efficient way, you know? [00:09:07] So you get two for one? [00:09:08] Yeah, I get a nice little hammy stretch and I get to tie my shoes. [00:09:11] And you know what I mean? [00:09:12] People get to check out the goods. [00:09:13] I wish Mark would tie his shoes like that with that fucking bed. [00:09:17] Dude, there would be assaults every stage, bro. [00:09:20] Assault and battery. [00:09:21] See, this is the thing. [00:09:22] How would you look at your nails? [00:09:23] Huh? [00:09:24] How would you look at your nails? [00:09:25] I go like that. [00:09:28] Is that a liberal cuck way to do it? [00:09:31] I go like that. [00:09:32] Yeah, as far away as possible. [00:09:33] This is the most inefficient way to look at your nails when you think about it. [00:09:36] Like, why would you want it to be further away from your eyes? [00:09:39] I don't understand it. [00:09:39] How we look is good. [00:09:41] Yeah. [00:09:41] Everything we do is more efficient. [00:09:42] We're just a more efficient species. [00:09:44] Yeah, speak that shit. [00:09:44] Talk to me. [00:09:45] Because I got my shit out already. [00:09:47] Talk your shit. [00:09:48] Yeah, yeah, yeah. [00:09:49] Be passive aggressive like me. [00:09:52] How is your girl being inefficient, but don't say it, but say it? [00:09:56] I don't know every decision. [00:09:58] You know what I marvel at? [00:09:59] Anytime I give my girl an option for two things, one is cheaper, one is more expensive, she doesn't have to know prices. [00:10:05] She always somehow in the mood for the more expensive thing. [00:10:08] It blows my fucking head. [00:10:09] You know what I know? [00:10:09] This is Akash real through and through. [00:10:12] I was working out with Muscle Doc today. [00:10:14] Shout out to Jordan. [00:10:15] And Jordan said some shit to me. [00:10:16] Like, Akash be going through it, huh? [00:10:25] Akash lives his raps, bro. [00:10:27] I'm about that life. [00:10:28] Akash lives his rap. [00:10:29] I'm about that life, dog. [00:10:31] You know what I mean? [00:10:33] Oh, fuck. [00:10:35] Anyway, what about you guys? [00:10:36] How are you? [00:10:39] This cash, the fucking God deal, is so long. [00:10:41] I can't pick which guy. [00:10:43] Thank God. [00:10:44] Thank God. [00:10:46] Okay? [00:10:46] Thank God. [00:10:48] Move on. [00:10:48] I'm just giving Reddit shit to do. [00:10:51] Fucking Reddit gonna be Reddit gonna be non-stop. [00:10:54] You know what I mean? [00:10:54] It's gonna be so good. [00:10:56] I think you gave me a shit. [00:10:57] I might gotta check that motherfucker's Instagram to see if she's still following this motherfucker, bro. [00:11:14] Yeah, yeah, your boy a little saucy today. [00:11:16] I got vax, son. [00:11:17] Yeah, you've been acting a little tizzed out. [00:11:19] Have I? [00:11:19] I have bosoms now. [00:11:21] Oh, really? [00:11:22] Yeah, I have bosoms. [00:11:23] I think there's estrogen in it. [00:11:24] B-cup? [00:11:25] I'm B-cuck. [00:11:26] Really? [00:11:26] Yeah, for real. [00:11:27] Wait, when you mean tizzed out, what do you mean? [00:11:29] You mean like he's acting a little liberal? [00:11:31] No, no, I'm worse, bro. [00:11:33] What? [00:11:34] Worse than being a liberal. [00:11:36] He got tizzed out. [00:11:38] Autistic. [00:11:38] He's not. [00:11:38] Yeah, you have acted. [00:11:40] He's being incredibly insulting to people who have like a monkey disorder. [00:11:48] You know what I mean? [00:11:48] Godzilla Lee. [00:11:49] That was a little audio right there. [00:11:52] Was it a little bit? [00:11:53] Was it a little bit? [00:11:55] Why? [00:11:55] Why would we gotta feel bad with them? [00:11:56] Watched one of them save the fucking earth for two hours. [00:11:59] I just watched one of them save the earth. [00:12:02] You know what I mean? [00:12:05] What? [00:12:06] What? [00:12:12] That was an old man laugh. [00:12:16] That was a dominoes laugh. [00:12:38] I'm a pocket check. [00:12:40] Where's your rude bandana? [00:12:41] So basically. [00:12:44] So basically, we all, so basically, rude sends us all. [00:12:47] Rude sends us all merchandise. [00:12:49] All right. [00:12:49] This is all the nicest shit. [00:12:51] It's in his shirts. [00:12:52] It's in his shorts. [00:12:53] No, they didn't. [00:13:38] If he's sending it to me, it's going to come to my house. [00:13:41] Alex, I want to send you specifically some shit. [00:13:43] Yes, I'll open the DMs right now and show you. [00:13:45] Yo, you know what? [00:13:46] Cut that super wise shot. [00:13:48] Yeah, we got to cut that shit. [00:13:50] He's getting too much fancy shit and none of us getting nothing. [00:13:54] Okay? [00:13:55] So just bring the short shorts back. [00:13:56] I'm sure Victoria's shit. [00:13:57] Yo, yo, they bullied me, bro. [00:14:00] Because the comments bullied me out of wearing short shorts on the podcast, bro. [00:14:03] I know, dog. [00:14:04] What's going on, Andrew? [00:14:05] Do I have to come back with a vengeance? [00:14:07] Yeah, you got to go. [00:14:08] It's been over a month, son. [00:14:10] I got to come back with a vengeance. [00:14:11] Come back with that Johnson and Johnson, bro. [00:14:13] So, oh, it's going to be Johnson. [00:14:15] Bro, it's going to be Johnson. [00:14:17] I haven't had an erection since I got that fucking thing, dude. [00:14:20] That's interesting. [00:14:22] How often do you get erections as is? [00:14:25] I feel like you be saving your shit. [00:14:26] Like, budgeting. [00:14:27] I get on Thursday. [00:14:28] I get a fifth. [00:14:30] And then I get one erection on Thursday. [00:14:32] Do you get pissed if you get an erection when you're not ready for it? [00:14:34] Yeah. [00:14:34] Because then you're like, fuck, dude. [00:14:36] No, it's because you guys are also staying in the place and I'll be in the pool. [00:14:39] And I'll be like, all right, stand this shit till this shit goes down, bro. [00:14:42] Dude, babe, give me a towel. [00:14:44] You know, you guys never get that sneaky boner when you guys like hug in the pool and there's water all over? [00:14:49] Yeah. [00:14:49] That's that sneak. [00:14:51] Right? [00:14:52] It's fuck. [00:14:53] Whoa, dude. [00:14:55] Whoa, dude. [00:14:56] Come on, bro. [00:14:57] Dude, you're acting like a real conservative. [00:15:02] You see that red point hat, dog? [00:15:04] We know what that stands for. [00:15:06] We know what that stands for. === Pay-View Economics Explained (15:02) === [00:15:08] Red hat, white letters. [00:15:09] Whoa. [00:15:12] Whoa. [00:15:13] Make New York great again, huh? [00:15:14] Alright. [00:15:15] Hey. [00:15:17] Hey. [00:15:18] As I think of something to say. [00:15:22] What to say. [00:15:23] He's going to speak about the rude thing. [00:15:24] That's what it is. [00:15:25] So then to make that insult to injury, bro. [00:15:28] Literally, he gets all the rude shit. [00:15:30] He gives us one bandana like a tanky. [00:15:32] A single bandana. [00:15:33] That's how I'll be operating on the sneak. [00:15:36] You're a sneaky. [00:15:37] We got more. [00:15:37] You're lucky. [00:15:38] He's lucky. [00:15:39] I asked for the next day. [00:15:40] Al shows up. [00:15:42] The guy was like, yo, it's gonna be rude shorts. [00:15:45] Rude shirt. [00:15:45] Rude bandana. [00:15:46] He's wearing a full rude. [00:15:48] Yeah, super hype beast. [00:15:49] You were hyped out. [00:15:50] So, and he was hating. [00:15:52] You couldn't even get the same. [00:15:53] He was hating. [00:15:54] He wishes he could be. [00:15:55] Your body swallowed. [00:15:56] Wishes he could be hyped right now. [00:15:58] You got nothing, dog. [00:15:59] You already wore two pairs of shorts. [00:16:01] Iron your next one. [00:16:02] I will just. [00:16:03] I will not. [00:16:04] I see you got new shirts, but at least iron. [00:16:06] Yeah, but then I get, then that ruined the good fold of the new shirt. [00:16:09] Yeah. [00:16:09] The new shirt is super crisp. [00:16:12] Yeah. [00:16:12] That's kind of cool. [00:16:13] Yeah. [00:16:13] Shout out to. [00:16:14] We're not shouting out. [00:16:15] Yeah. [00:16:16] We're not doing no shout outs. [00:16:17] You know what? [00:16:19] Shout out to Rude. [00:16:20] You guys want to set any more stuff? [00:16:22] I fucks with you. [00:16:23] Oh, yeah. [00:16:23] Speaking of which, this is my new thing that I brought up is I'm doing my own flagrant ads on the side. [00:16:28] Okay, yeah, yeah, yeah. [00:16:29] So this is my new thing. [00:16:30] So basically, if you just Veno me like 100 bucks, I'll just bring up whatever the thing is that you want me to advertise randomly just in conversation. [00:16:35] I've been told the whole show. [00:16:36] Yeah. [00:16:36] Yeah. [00:16:37] So I'm running my little side. [00:16:38] I don't know why I'm supportive of this. [00:16:39] Yeah, like will happen. [00:16:44] In that moment, I made the decision that it was more entertaining to support it. [00:16:47] Yeah, And then once those Venmos start coming in, then I'll stop it immediately. [00:16:52] I really think we need to cut out that wide shot, dude. [00:16:54] The morning shot. [00:16:56] Mark's taking a dub seat. [00:17:00] You better have some sneakers to promote because this is about the only fucking thing you can see. [00:17:04] No, we're starting a music. [00:17:05] I guarantee you. [00:17:07] You guys are not like that shoe. [00:17:08] Say what? [00:17:09] Yeah, we see your shoe. [00:17:10] Oh, you don't like the shoe. [00:17:11] No, the shoe dubbed Creative Rex. [00:17:13] Radio. [00:17:14] Yeah, he's lost weight. [00:17:16] Honestly, he's lost weight. [00:17:18] Skin is unbelievable. [00:17:19] No, you're fantastic. [00:17:22] When he first came to Miami, you looked like a sweet potato tortellini. [00:17:24] Now, you are like, you took five years off. [00:17:29] Yeah. [00:17:30] Honestly, for real. [00:17:31] Hair is thicker. [00:17:33] Hair is thicker. [00:17:34] You are slimmer. [00:17:36] You fit your clothes way better. [00:17:37] You begin more erections. [00:17:38] I have noticed that. [00:17:39] What is that? [00:17:40] More erections. [00:17:40] Thank you, Blue. [00:17:41] More erections. [00:17:42] Shouts to the blue. [00:17:44] I'm saying, dude, it's really unbelievable. [00:17:46] You've transformed. [00:17:47] But I'll give everyone the secret soon. [00:17:49] Alex now hears about it. [00:17:50] No, yeah, yeah. [00:17:51] I'll be getting a secret. [00:17:53] There's one secret. [00:17:55] Future partners. [00:17:56] I won't Venmo. [00:17:57] It'll be for all of us. [00:17:59] Just us. [00:18:02] Here we go again, hal. [00:18:04] Here we go again. [00:18:06] Watch out, Weezy. [00:18:07] This is how WTF Media Studios. [00:18:09] Okay? [00:18:10] So it's going to be Media Studios. [00:18:12] You can let WTF happen to me. [00:18:17] All right. [00:18:17] Dude. [00:18:18] Let's talk about this weekend, shall we? [00:18:20] We have to. [00:18:21] No, no, no, no. [00:18:22] This is big. [00:18:23] Okay. [00:18:24] This is big. [00:18:25] The Jake Paul Askron. [00:18:26] Oh, I know. [00:18:26] The fight was big. [00:18:27] Everything else sucked. [00:18:28] Oh, no, no. [00:18:29] The Triller event was horrible. [00:18:31] That's my point. [00:18:32] It was absolutely horrible. [00:18:34] We can get into why it's horrible later. [00:18:36] Or we can just talk about it now. [00:18:38] It's too much music. [00:18:39] And the fights were boring before the Jake Paul one, and then too much music. [00:18:42] Like, I don't care about watching Saweetie lip sync. [00:18:45] Okay. [00:18:45] I don't care about Doja Cat. [00:18:46] I don't care about any of these things. [00:18:47] Fight fans are not Doja Cat fans. [00:18:50] They're not Sweetie fans. [00:18:51] Justin Bieber's performance I thought was good. [00:18:53] I could do one song. [00:18:55] Do one song. [00:18:56] Can you? [00:18:56] Shouts to C's. [00:18:57] Where's Daniel Caesar? [00:18:59] Bring out Daniel Caesar. [00:19:01] Okay, Justin Daniel, play the fucking peaches and then get to the fights. [00:19:05] All we need are the fights. [00:19:06] We don't care about the music component at all. [00:19:08] I'm going to give you a bit of a bunch of people. [00:19:10] I hated it. [00:19:11] I'm also not a fight fan, but this wasn't marketed to fight fans. [00:19:14] That was a good point. [00:19:15] This is marketed to young people who would be interested in Jake Paul fighting. [00:19:19] They fucked up. [00:19:21] My issue is the performances weren't good. [00:19:23] Like Sweetie wasn't. [00:19:24] What are you doing? [00:19:24] They can't be good. [00:19:26] Like, even Super Bowl performances, you're like, man, it's all right. [00:19:29] And that is the biggest performance ever. [00:19:30] You're watching a music video live, and music videos at home are okay. [00:19:35] Live, you're like, what the fuck are we doing? [00:19:37] Empty stadium. [00:19:38] Empty stadium is weird. [00:19:39] If you were in the room for a concert, I could see that as potentially being good. [00:19:43] But you're not. [00:19:44] You're watching at home. [00:19:45] So one song is kind of fun. [00:19:47] Bake it into the intro in some way, figure out something, but it was just too long. [00:19:50] Like it's one o'clock by the time the fucking fight comes. [00:19:53] Yeah. [00:19:54] So bad job. [00:19:55] But I think Triller will be able to adjust. [00:19:57] And they'll go, okay, people could not give a flying fuck about this much music. [00:20:01] Maybe we'll have a couple music acts because I'm looking at this like you wasted money. [00:20:04] You had to pay all these people. [00:20:06] You don't need to pay them. [00:20:06] You don't need Charlie D'Amelio and Dixie D'Amelio giving people fake belts. [00:20:11] Not necessary. [00:20:12] Yeah. [00:20:12] What people are invested in when it comes to a fight is literally the outcome of that fight. [00:20:16] That's all they do. [00:20:17] They don't need the theatrics around it. [00:20:19] They need none of that. [00:20:20] When we watch a street fight, you know who did this brilliantly? [00:20:22] Barstool. [00:20:23] When they did Rough and Rowdy, they knew that they weren't going to have famous people fight each other, but what they could do is create rivalries. [00:20:29] So they had the city kid versus the country bumpkin, the gay dude versus the straight dude. [00:20:34] Right? [00:20:34] The this frat versus this frat, a firefighter versus a policeman. [00:20:38] They found built-in rivalries that already existed, and now we're emotionally connected to the outcome of that fight. [00:20:44] I want to see who wins, the older brother, the younger brother. [00:20:47] They had an older brother, younger brother fight each other once. [00:20:49] I just watched it on YouTube. [00:20:50] I'm like, why am I watching this? [00:20:51] I want to see if that younger brother can get him. [00:20:53] Right? [00:20:54] And it was brilliant because they understood the emotional driving point of a fight. [00:21:00] Jake Paul also understands that. [00:21:01] Yeah. [00:21:02] And that's why we tuned into that fight. [00:21:05] Yeah. [00:21:05] And Ben Askrin also understands it. [00:21:08] And that's why we tuned into that fight. [00:21:09] And I fucking love Ben. [00:21:12] I want to talk about Ben afterwards. [00:21:14] But I first want to give Jake some flowers. [00:21:17] Yeah. [00:21:18] Let's not even talk about the knockout just yet. [00:21:21] Jake Paul is the biggest fight in boxing right now. [00:21:27] Bigger than Canelo. [00:21:29] Yeah. [00:21:30] Bigger than Tyson Fury. [00:21:32] Bigger than Anthony Joshua. [00:21:35] He is right now the biggest fight in boxing. [00:21:38] I know you guys think I'm absolutely fucking retarded when I say this. [00:21:40] Yes. [00:21:41] I'm not joking. [00:21:42] 1.5 million pay-per-view buys. [00:21:44] 1.5 million. [00:21:45] Yeah, I'm not. [00:21:45] I don't think you're crazy. [00:21:46] I just need to hear numbers. [00:21:47] 1.5 million pay-per-view buys. [00:21:49] We can look at other past pay-per-views, but here's the thing you got to consider. [00:21:53] This one got 1.5 million pay-per-view buys. [00:21:56] Now that he knocked Askron out in the first round, people who don't like Jake Paul have just increased exponentially. [00:22:07] And Jake knows that. [00:22:08] And the MMA community that's infuriated with Jake Paul has increased exponentially. [00:22:14] Literally every fighter after their fight, Robert Whitaker said, I'd fight Jake Paul for less than $500,000. [00:22:21] Why are you mentioning that fight? [00:22:23] Why are you even bringing it up? [00:22:24] You just won a fight on the same night. [00:22:26] He is under everybody's skin. [00:22:27] And what do I always say on this podcast? [00:22:29] Haters and celebrators pay the same price of admission. [00:22:31] And this guy is going to take people hating on him and ride that shit to the fucking top. [00:22:37] Now, I keep hearing people say this all the fucking time. [00:22:40] They go, Why isn't he fighting a real boxer? [00:22:42] Why is he fighting a real boxer? [00:22:44] Why would he? [00:22:45] Why would he? [00:22:45] Why does he have to? [00:22:46] He's not trying to win the belt. [00:22:49] He's trying to win the boxer. [00:22:51] Yes. [00:22:51] Money, money, money. [00:22:52] And you cannot show me a boxer that wouldn't like to make millions of dollars in their first three fights. [00:22:57] You think that these boxers want to fight 20 times before they fight for a title and maybe touch a million dollars? [00:23:02] Yeah. [00:23:02] Fuck no. [00:23:03] Give me the money immediately. [00:23:04] If you're smart enough to not care about the fucking belt, which is it, which if you don't care about the sport, who gives a fuck about the belt? [00:23:13] Yeah. [00:23:13] Right. [00:23:14] If there was no money in boxing, Jake Paul's not going to be a boxer. [00:23:17] Right. [00:23:18] He knows it. [00:23:19] But that motherfucker, say what you want about. [00:23:21] I don't care if you like his personality or don't like his personality. [00:23:24] Remove personality from all this. [00:23:26] Just look at straight business. [00:23:28] The guy knows how to get under people's skin, get them invested, and get them wanting to beat his ass. [00:23:33] He's really smart. [00:23:35] The kid is fucking smart, dude. [00:23:37] He's really smart. [00:23:38] He understands business. [00:23:39] He might not communicate it well, but he knows what he's doing. [00:23:43] Bro, he knows what he's doing. [00:23:45] He knows how to get people to fucking hate him. [00:23:46] And in an intention economy, hate is the easiest form of attention. [00:23:50] We are so much quicker to hate things than we are love. [00:23:53] Hard is it for us to give something up? [00:23:55] Being hated takes less talent, but it takes one supreme talent, and that is you are you have to be willing to be hated, superpower, which most of us are not. [00:24:02] Superpower. [00:24:02] Again, I don't care if you're listening right now, you're like, I fucking hate that kid, Jake Paul. [00:24:05] I don't care. [00:24:06] Yeah, he's gonna make tens of millions of dollars doing this boxing thing because you hate him. [00:24:12] He probably already made tens of millions. [00:24:14] And just for number's sake, you said 1.5 media or million pay-per-view vibes. [00:24:18] If that's a true number, that would make it the 12th highest pay-per-view box ever, ever, ever. [00:24:24] And that's comparing to the Floyd Mayweather fights. [00:24:27] This is more than Tyson fights. [00:24:29] Like, this is number 12 in like with the efforts. [00:24:32] So, this is the biggest name in boxing right now, whether you like it or not. [00:24:36] And he's not even fighting the elite boxing guys. [00:24:38] If him and Connor square off, go, go. [00:24:41] I mean, that could be that could be the number one fight. [00:24:43] So, listen, if Connor beats Dustin Poiria, if Connor beats Dustin and doesn't fight Jake, he is wasting money. [00:24:53] All right, guys, we're going to take a break for a second because I need y'all to keep your hair. [00:24:58] And keeping your hair right now is a fucking choice. [00:25:00] And if you're losing your hair right now, you are choosing to go bald. [00:25:03] You do not have to make that choice. [00:25:06] You could keep that shit. [00:25:06] That's what I did, okay? [00:25:08] Over a decade ago, I decided not to lose my hair. [00:25:11] And let me tell you something: I've been on this shit, and here I am. [00:25:15] Maybe I need to comb it, but it's still on the top of my head to comb. [00:25:18] And you can also do that with Keeps. [00:25:54] I'm going to hop on it. [00:25:55] You got to hop on, bro. [00:25:56] I'm telling you. [00:25:57] Treatments can take four to six months to see results. [00:26:28] He's literally taking money, lighting it on fire because that is the biggest money fight he can get. [00:26:34] Whether Connor likes it or not, the biggest money fight he can get is against Jake Paul. [00:26:38] Yeah. [00:26:39] I mean, it is unbelievable what this kid has fucking done. [00:26:43] Yeah. [00:26:43] You might hate him and have a reason to. [00:26:46] He's already back starting beef. [00:26:47] He's already tweeting. [00:26:48] I think they released some footage of Mike Perry and him sparring. [00:26:52] Mike Perry, Platinum Mike Perry is a UFC fighter. [00:26:54] And he went in to give some work to Jake. [00:26:57] And then Jake, I guess, tweeted something or said something about how, like, you know, Mike Perry admitted that I kicked his ass or whatever. [00:27:02] Now Mike Perry's all upset. [00:27:04] Mike Perry's trying to get into it. [00:27:05] Are they upset or are they excited that he's throwing them in there? [00:27:09] Now they want to see if they can get their shot. [00:27:10] Maybe. [00:27:11] Either way. [00:27:11] Because it's a win for Mike Perry to get to fight Jake Paul. [00:27:14] Even if he loses. [00:27:15] And this is the, and I don't know if his team is doing this. [00:27:17] I don't know if he's doing it. [00:27:18] I always give credit to the person who takes the responsibility, but like maybe it's all them. [00:27:23] But what you do is you let them all compete. [00:27:25] Yeah. [00:27:26] Who can stir up the most shit? [00:27:29] Yeah. [00:27:29] And whoever stirs up the most shit, this is what the UFC does very well, right? [00:27:33] They have rankings. [00:27:34] But if you stir up a lot of shit, you get some fights. [00:27:37] Kevin Holland was stirring up shit. [00:27:39] Kevin got some fights now. [00:27:40] He lost him, but he was stirring it up and he gets rewarded. [00:27:43] So what you do is you throw names out there. [00:27:45] You throw an ATS out there. [00:27:46] You throw a Platinum Mike Perry out there. [00:27:48] You throw Tyson Fury's little brother. [00:27:51] I forget his name. [00:27:52] He's got another fury. [00:27:54] You throw his name out there. [00:27:55] You throw five, six, seven guys out there. [00:27:57] Connor, of course. [00:27:58] And you see who gets the most. [00:28:00] You see what the market dictates. [00:28:02] Not only the market, you see what they do with it. [00:28:05] Yeah, yeah, yeah. [00:28:06] So if the market doesn't want it, but you create the market. [00:28:09] Yeah, fair enough. [00:28:10] All of a sudden, now we're cooking. [00:28:12] Like when Logan and Mayweather were going to fight, the market wasn't that interested. [00:28:16] So they pulled it back and they're like, okay, we need to generate some interest. [00:28:19] Yeah. [00:28:19] This motherfucker Jake has generated interest. [00:28:22] Yeah, because he's willing. [00:28:23] And that's what he has. [00:28:24] Logan is great, but what he has that Logan doesn't have is Jake is willing to be hated and doesn't give a fuck. [00:28:30] Logan is Captain America. [00:28:31] Yeah, dude. [00:28:32] Logan is Captain America and he wants people to like him. [00:28:36] And I get that because he's likable. [00:28:37] Yeah. [00:28:38] And he plays a good, good guy. [00:28:40] He seems like he made one huge mistake. [00:28:41] And other than that, he seems like a pretty good kid. [00:28:43] Yeah. [00:28:43] And I actually don't mind having the brothers be one good guy, one heel. [00:28:50] That's how it should be. [00:28:52] It might be the way to do it. [00:28:54] Because if you're otherwise, if you're Jake, you are in your big brother's shadow your entire life. [00:28:58] You're just not him. [00:28:59] What's the only way to be different is he's the heel. [00:29:02] If he's Captain America, let me go all the way heel. [00:29:04] Especially if you're looking at Logan, you're like, he's really good at being likable. [00:29:08] He's really good at being likable. [00:29:10] And you're like, I don't know if I can do that. [00:29:11] But I can be different. [00:29:12] I can be weird. [00:29:13] I can't be antagonistic. [00:29:15] I can't troll. [00:29:16] And the motherfucker found a way within his third fight to make millions of dollars. [00:29:23] You show me another boxer table to do this. [00:29:24] You cannot. [00:29:25] Regardless if you like it or not, he is the biggest name in boxing in terms of money. [00:29:30] And you know who made belts worthless? [00:29:33] The fucking sanctioning bodies that threw out a million different belts for every single weight. [00:29:38] You made the belts worthless. [00:29:39] Don't be upset at Jake Paul. [00:29:40] Yeah. [00:29:40] Be upset at yourselves. [00:29:42] You took away all the value. [00:29:43] When you kept handing it out, it was like a fiat currency. [00:29:47] We don't care about no fiat currency over there. [00:29:49] Dogs get slaughtered. [00:29:50] You got to try to grab cash everywhere. [00:29:52] This belt, that belt, that. [00:29:54] Son, Isaac, as a guy who casually watches, I have no clue what any belt means. [00:29:58] Yeah. [00:29:58] I barely know the weight classes, and I know why those have to exist, but like multiple belts for a weight class, I'm out. [00:30:03] I don't give a fuck. [00:30:04] I'm out. [00:30:05] So regardless if you think that he can box or not, you cannot deny he has power. [00:30:09] Yes. === Boxing Belts Worthless Now (13:37) === [00:30:10] Ben Askrin has been hit incredibly hard by people who hit incredibly hard. [00:30:14] Yes. [00:30:14] And Jake Paul hit him and he was concussed while he was standing. [00:30:21] He was concussed. [00:30:22] He went down. [00:30:23] I mean, I assume it's concussion, right? [00:30:25] Anytime lights go out, right? [00:30:26] So, and don't get me wrong, Askrin, the tough motherfucker, got back up and said he was ready to go. [00:30:31] The referee stopped it. [00:30:31] I'm not mad at that stop. [00:30:33] But the point is, he hit him with one shot and put him down. [00:30:36] TKO is multiple shots. [00:30:39] Eventually, like, I can't take anymore. [00:30:40] One-shot lights out power is a natural thing. [00:30:44] Sometimes people have it. [00:30:45] Sometimes they don't have it. [00:30:46] There are professional boxers that we all love that don't have one-shot knockout power. [00:30:49] Yeah. [00:30:50] It's just what it is. [00:30:51] And they've been phenomenal fighters. [00:30:52] And there are guys that we might have never heard of that have incredible one punch concussive power. [00:30:58] Yeah. [00:30:58] Say what you want about Jake. [00:30:59] He has power. [00:31:00] Right. [00:31:00] Lights out. [00:31:01] Go. [00:31:01] You don't, you're not mad at the early stoppage? [00:31:04] No. [00:31:04] No. [00:31:04] Why? [00:31:05] Because this isn't a real fight. [00:31:08] Now, you could be mad as a consumer because you want blood, but in my mind, I think that he got hurt enough. [00:31:14] He was out on his feet. [00:31:16] The way that his body fell, it looked like he was out of his feet. [00:31:18] Now, Astron's tough as fucking nails. [00:31:20] He's going to get up. [00:31:22] I don't think you need to put him through that when, like, this is not his future. [00:31:25] This is not his career. [00:31:26] A short stoppage really affects a fighter who wants to keep fighting in their career because you stole a win from him. [00:31:32] Askron did this for money. [00:31:34] Right. [00:31:34] The guy was fucking brilliant in the lead up to this. [00:31:37] Like, not only was he generating all this interest in the fight, the guy was doing so many promos. [00:31:44] Yeah. [00:31:44] Like, I bet he maybe made just as much fighting as he did in promos. [00:31:48] A few minutes before the fight, he posted a video of him hitting this punching machine in his own locker room. [00:31:53] Yeah. [00:31:53] Cash the check. [00:31:55] So, like, for me, if I'm a ref in that situation, I'm going, this guy is doing this for fun and for a huge payday. [00:32:03] It's not worth him getting knocked down again and really doing damage because that's when the damage happens. [00:32:08] Yeah. [00:32:09] So I'm not upset at that. [00:32:10] I don't think people are like, oh, this was rigged. [00:32:12] This was rigged. [00:32:13] Look at the punch connect. [00:32:14] It's not rigged. [00:32:15] You know what? [00:32:15] And I don't know, you can tell me if the form was off or not, but before he landed a punch, he threw another overhand right that barely missed. [00:32:22] And that one, I was like, he almost knocked him the fuck out right. [00:32:25] Same combo. [00:32:26] And then got him 10 seconds later. [00:32:27] I guess same combo. [00:32:28] But I was like, oh, this kid has power. [00:32:31] When I saw that punch miss, I was like, fuck. [00:32:33] Say what you want about Jake. [00:32:34] He made an adjustment in the ring. [00:32:36] This is in the first round of fight. [00:32:38] Askron lands the first punch of the fight. [00:32:40] Yeah. [00:32:40] Jake kind of rushes in. [00:32:41] Askron dips and then hits him with an overhand right. [00:32:44] I don't think there was much on it, but Jake gets caught. [00:32:48] He's a little bit cautious. [00:32:50] And as Askron starts to plot forward, he made an adjustment, which was really fucking impressive. [00:32:56] He started throwing this hook as Askron came in. [00:33:01] So Askron comes in. [00:33:02] He's got his hands kind of in front of him a little bit more. [00:33:05] So Jake would throw this hook as he came in and he caught him a few times. [00:33:08] And that stopped Askron from coming in as bravely, for lack of a better word, because he knew that there was a cost for coming in. [00:33:17] And I'm telling you, to make an adjustment in real time like that, I've vlogged a lot of hours sparring. [00:33:24] Okay. [00:33:25] And when you're in the heat of the moment, you're not thinking, okay, what can I do different? [00:33:29] Like sometimes between rounds, you're like, I was getting caught with that. [00:33:31] How do I avoid that shit a little bit like that? [00:33:33] And as you do more, you maybe get a little more comfortable making those adjustments. [00:33:37] It was impressive. [00:33:39] I'm not saying the guy should go challenge for the fucking cruiserweight belt right now. [00:33:43] Yeah. [00:33:44] But three years in, it's impressive. [00:33:48] And the last thing he should do is fight some boxer that's really good that has no fucking clout. [00:33:53] He should go after MMA guys and he should stay in that world and people who are famous. [00:33:58] Stay in that world, cash the fucking checks. [00:34:01] Yeah. [00:34:02] Yeah, if he had 1.5 million buys on this one, to get from number 12 to number three, which is Khabib Connor, you need one more million views. [00:34:10] And you're talking someone like Connor, an international audience. [00:34:12] Can I tell you something? [00:34:13] You're so close to being number one. [00:34:15] The other ones. [00:34:16] Let me tell you something. [00:34:19] If Jake Paul fights Connor McGregor, you're going to think I'm crazy when I say this. [00:34:24] It's the biggest fight in history. [00:34:26] Bigger than Floyd and Connor. [00:34:29] The two biggest are the number one is 4.6 million, Pacquiao Mayweather. [00:34:34] Second biggest is Mayweather McGregor, 4.3 million. [00:34:39] I'll push back. [00:34:39] Then it goes down to 2.5 million, which was Khabib McGregor. [00:34:43] Let me take this back. [00:34:44] Let me take this back. [00:34:45] I take that back. [00:34:45] I apologize. [00:34:47] I don't think they hit Mayweather, Pacquiao, and I don't think they hit Mayweather McGregor. [00:34:52] I think they can beat the 2.5. [00:34:54] Agreed. [00:34:54] Because you're adding Connor star power to it. [00:34:57] I mean, like, and Connor's got to win this fight against Poirier to make that happen. [00:35:03] But if he wins that fight against Poirier, he's going in there. [00:35:06] He could go in there with Jake and they could do 2.5 easy. [00:35:11] Easy. [00:35:13] If Connor loses, what happens? [00:35:15] He loses a lot of money. [00:35:17] He loses a lot of money. [00:35:20] We were calling sports bars this weekend. [00:35:22] They wouldn't even pay for the pay-per-view. [00:35:24] Like, this was really driven, I think, by the attention of Jake Paul, his audience, a younger market, Triller fans. [00:35:31] You bring in, you know, these bars buying these licenses for the... [00:35:36] I don't think it was Triller fans. [00:35:37] I literally think it was Fife fans wanting to see Jake Paul get knocked out. [00:35:40] Because, I mean, like. [00:35:42] Yeah, I think that was the only community that was really hyped about this fight. [00:35:45] I was in New York this past weekend and not a single person was talking about it. [00:35:48] Interesting. [00:35:48] Like, I didn't even watch it because no one was watching it. [00:35:51] It's it, but numbers don't lie. [00:35:52] Yeah. [00:35:52] No, no, I know. [00:35:53] So it's like there is an audience that is interested about this. [00:35:57] But, like, for example, I don't think the black community really cared about this. [00:36:01] Like, they didn't even hear about it, really. [00:36:02] And I think that's probably. [00:36:03] Well, this is the biggest, the biggest winner in this was the black community because they were so embarrassed when Nate Robinson. [00:36:09] Now they're like, hey, you know what? [00:36:12] Isn't that kind of nice? [00:36:13] Yeah, that's good. [00:36:14] But yeah, I think that's why they did the music plays and some of the picks for the performers to try to gain more. [00:36:21] The music thing, just so you know, was there this waste of monumental waste of money. [00:36:25] But look, it wasn't to like supplement the boxing side. [00:36:29] Triller is launching a high-end live events business. [00:36:33] So someone, look, it's a smart play. [00:36:35] You're saying, let's see if we can impress people with both boxing and music at the same time. [00:36:39] And production-wise, they fucked up on the music side. [00:36:42] I guarantee the production will look completely different the next time. [00:36:46] I will say that. [00:36:46] But they shouldn't give up. [00:36:48] I mean, they would. [00:36:48] Having the calm, like fun, loose commentating booth, like having them high and joking around and having like the professional commentator. [00:36:59] I think Al Bernstein was his name. [00:37:00] The guy's probably done fights for 40 fucking years and they're hot boxing. [00:37:03] They're blowing smoke in his face. [00:37:05] Dude, having crime faces there, shouts of crime faces. [00:37:07] You know, crime faces. [00:37:09] Yeah. [00:37:09] Dude, so it's just like. [00:37:10] I didn't until the fight, but he was so funny. [00:37:12] Oh, dude. [00:37:13] He's great. [00:37:13] You know him. [00:37:14] You actually know him from his Instagram. [00:37:16] Oh, okay. [00:37:17] What good is this? [00:37:18] Okay, got you. [00:37:19] So he said, what do you say? [00:37:22] Jake Paul has been training in an Equinox for the past two years. [00:37:26] But yeah, they made it like a fight companion. [00:37:28] Bro, yeah. [00:37:29] When Rogan would do the fight companion is like, yo, watch the fight and listen to us talk about it. [00:37:32] Yeah. [00:37:33] Listen to some stiff, you know, like announcer or whatever. [00:37:36] Yeah. [00:37:36] Just make it loose. [00:37:37] It felt like you were hanging with your homies. [00:37:38] It felt like a podcast was happening. [00:37:39] And then Oscar De Laoya came on, coked out of his fucking mind, dude. [00:37:42] Full eight ball to the dome. [00:37:44] Just started Botox out of his mind, full eight ball in his nostrils, started talking shit about the fighters that were fighting. [00:37:52] He came on when Steve Cunningham, his name is USS, Steve USS Cunningham, because there's a boat and he was, I think, in the Navy or something like that. [00:38:01] So they call him the USS Cunningham. [00:38:03] Yeah. [00:38:04] At one point, he goes, he was fighting against Frank Muir. [00:38:08] He goes, it's the USSR versus Frank Muir, right? [00:38:11] The USSR, this is a completely different country that we were at war with, the Cold War, forever, right? [00:38:16] Then he starts going, I'm sorry, not USSR, USSA. [00:38:20] He was calling him USSA. [00:38:22] He didn't even know USA. [00:38:25] He was like, Steve, USSA. [00:38:26] He was saying he had no chin. [00:38:28] That's why he got knocked out. [00:38:29] He was saying the other guy's out of shape. [00:38:31] I mean, he kept talking crazy, crazy, crazy shit. [00:38:34] And it was so fucking entertaining. [00:38:36] Yeah. [00:38:36] Just to see this like drunk high person spout off. [00:38:39] I was, he saved the night. [00:38:41] He fucking saved the night. [00:38:43] He said he wants to fight again. [00:38:44] Yeah, he's like, I want to fight and I'm going to fight the top. [00:38:47] He was saying something super uncomfortable. [00:38:49] But I don't want to see that happen at all. [00:38:51] But I love him being just drunk and coked out of his mind at every single fight. [00:38:54] Just let him go loose. [00:38:56] Who cares? [00:38:56] Who cares? [00:38:57] It's not real. [00:38:58] I mean, it is real boxing in terms of like people get fucking hurt, but it's not like for the title or anything like that. [00:39:04] Like, there's no need to be professional. [00:39:06] Yeah. [00:39:06] Right. [00:39:07] Way less like broadcast sanctions and stuff like that. [00:39:09] Like say whatever you want. [00:39:10] Do drug. [00:39:11] You know what I mean? [00:39:12] Like it's not as uptight as if ESPN's doing it or whatever. [00:39:15] I mean, it felt great. [00:39:16] It just felt fucking. [00:39:18] I love that aspect of it. [00:39:19] I would love if they just basically did a live podcast while we watched some other fights go on, kind of talked about it, kind of did it. [00:39:25] Like have a fun group of people there, enjoy it. [00:39:28] And then when the main fight comes on, boom, start talking about it or don't talk about it. [00:39:33] The commentary is never driving the fight for us anyway. [00:39:35] Right. [00:39:36] I love that model. [00:39:37] They actually did a pretty good idea. [00:39:37] Get rid of the music. [00:39:38] Because the early fights, like you said, they were boring. [00:39:40] Yeah. [00:39:40] And that's when they were like just Google. [00:39:41] Talking to each other. [00:39:42] Talking shit. [00:39:43] And then once the real fight happened, I think they like either. [00:39:45] I don't even lock it. [00:39:46] They said, yeah, because we're locked in. [00:39:48] We're just paying attention. [00:39:49] And, you know, Snoop is just being so fucking entertaining and charismatic. [00:39:52] Said he bet $2 million on Jake Paul. [00:39:54] Say, yeah, yeah, yeah. [00:39:55] Where's my money, Dana? [00:39:56] He kept doing this. [00:39:57] He goes, I know Dana's a man of his word. [00:39:58] He's going to pay his debts. [00:40:00] I love that shit. [00:40:00] Compliment the motherfucker that owes you money. [00:40:02] Oh, yeah. [00:40:02] But he's a part owner and triller. [00:40:04] Who is? [00:40:05] Snoop. [00:40:05] Is he? [00:40:06] Angel. [00:40:06] Get it. [00:40:07] They better get Jake some of that money, too. [00:40:10] They better get Jake building this shit. [00:40:12] Yeah. [00:40:13] Anyway. [00:40:14] One question. [00:40:15] Did Ben Askron train at all? [00:40:17] Yes. [00:40:17] Yes. [00:40:18] Yeah. [00:40:18] The guy came in built like me. [00:40:20] I just didn't understand what was happening. [00:40:21] He's always been built like you. [00:40:23] I've been talking to him a bit, and like, he was like, he's in shape. [00:40:26] He got fucking caught. [00:40:27] And it is what it is. [00:40:28] But he's never had a great bod. [00:40:32] He just looked at that way and he just looked like a smile on his face. [00:40:35] He just looked like he was like, he's the machine. [00:40:39] He's the machine. [00:40:40] He should be on a fucking Russian train somewhere. [00:40:44] But the dude was ready. [00:40:46] He said he came back. [00:40:47] He felt good. [00:40:47] He felt he was good in camp. [00:40:48] And the motherfucker got caught. [00:40:49] And he said it earlier. [00:40:51] He's like, if Jake Paul can box, he'll beat me. [00:40:53] Yeah. [00:40:54] I didn't think he'd be that fast. [00:40:55] Neither did I. [00:40:56] I don't think he thought that either. [00:40:57] Yeah. [00:40:57] Yeah. [00:40:58] I said this even before, but I really felt like a Ben Askran queuing on support. [00:41:01] Oh, yeah. [00:41:01] This is hilarious. [00:41:02] Yeah, I mean, like, the whole time I was like, oh, you know, he's got to trust the plan. [00:41:05] You know, Ben Astron's like putting out all these shitty videos. [00:41:07] I'm like, yeah, no, you got to trust the plane. [00:41:09] He's got a plan. [00:41:10] Yeah. [00:41:10] And he gets in the ring and he starts getting cue dropped, bro. [00:41:12] That's what I was. [00:41:15] But yeah, I hear it feel the same way because I was like, you know, I like him as a person a lot. [00:41:20] So funny. [00:41:21] Yeah. [00:41:22] So I wanted him to win because I fucking like him as a person. [00:41:25] Yeah. [00:41:26] And I just don't know Jake that well. [00:41:28] Right. [00:41:29] So it's like I was bummed in that regard, but you got to give credit where credit's due. [00:41:35] Yeah. [00:41:36] Fucking Jake. [00:41:37] Jake did it. [00:41:37] Yeah. [00:41:38] And I love the fact that like Ben didn't want, doesn't want to be famous. [00:41:43] He doesn't want to fight anymore after this. [00:41:44] Like he's like, I just want to coach wrestling. [00:41:46] Like I have a wrestling academy. [00:41:47] He's not worried about his kids. [00:41:48] Yeah. [00:41:48] This is a family guy. [00:41:49] Friends. [00:41:50] Yeah. [00:41:50] Yeah. [00:41:50] Great guy. [00:41:51] Yeah. [00:41:51] He's a fucking great guy. [00:41:52] So it's like, it makes you feel a little bit better that you're like, oh, he got the bag. [00:41:55] He made more money in that fight than he ever made in a fight in his whole fucking career. [00:41:59] Yeah. [00:41:59] And he gets to walk away and he's okay. [00:42:01] He's happy. [00:42:02] Family's good. [00:42:02] It sucks when you really love a fighter and then they lose in devastating fashion and you know their career is affected. [00:42:07] Yeah, but like he's not a boxer. [00:42:09] Exactly. [00:42:10] He's done. [00:42:11] Like he's retired from whatever. [00:42:13] We got to get Ben on the pot. [00:42:14] We got to get Ben on the pot. [00:42:15] He's great. [00:42:15] But it's interesting to see what's going to happen in boxing, man. [00:42:20] I'm very excited to see what's next for Jake. [00:42:22] Jake, change boxing. [00:42:23] Like if you're a young boxer, do you look at this differently? [00:42:26] Like, oh, let me keep being nice at boxing, get famous, doing other shit. [00:42:29] And then when I box, now I'm going to draw automatically. [00:42:34] I would say a young boxer is probably going to lean more into calling people out, trolling. [00:42:40] Like we, it's nice to be like friendly and like everybody's like having fun and like handshakes and shit. [00:42:47] Yeah. [00:42:47] But that doesn't drive interest. [00:42:49] Right. [00:42:49] You know? [00:42:49] You got to be a character, Khan. [00:42:51] You kind of got to be a character. [00:42:52] And like beef is really good for that. [00:42:55] Yeah. [00:42:55] And like anytime there's a fight, just think about it. [00:42:58] You hear two people yelling outside of a store. [00:43:00] All of a sudden, you're like, wait, what's going on? [00:43:02] Yeah. [00:43:02] Right? [00:43:03] Like, immediately, you're just like, I want to see what's happening here. [00:43:05] What is going on? [00:43:06] We are drawn to it. [00:43:07] You want people to come over. [00:43:08] The easiest way to do it is create some fucking beef, some drama. [00:43:11] Especially in fighting because you know there's going to be a payoff. [00:43:13] You know what I mean? [00:43:14] Like other things, like it's like, all right, what are you going to really do? [00:43:17] Yeah. [00:43:18] You're just going to talk mad shit and then nothing's going to happen. [00:43:19] But in fighting, it's like, oh, no, they could actually fight. [00:43:21] Yeah. [00:43:22] This is what they do. [00:43:23] Yeah. [00:43:23] There was a funny moment where Jorge Mazudal was talking shit to Ben Askren. [00:43:28] And Ben, I think, said, like, on the ponium or something, he was just like, we're going to fight in a cage to date. [00:43:36] Where you can do anything. [00:43:38] There's no rules. [00:43:39] We'll be able to do that. [00:43:40] Like, if I see you in the halls, I'm going to beat you up. [00:43:43] Just wait two days and we'll do it for money. === Manscaped Promo Break (03:10) === [00:43:47] Right. [00:43:48] Like, that is kind of funny when boxers say they're going to fuck people up like outside of the fight. [00:43:52] Yeah. [00:43:52] It's just like, why would you do that? [00:43:54] Yeah, you could film it. [00:43:56] Yeah, it's like a porn star fucking without the cameras. [00:44:00] Do you know what I mean? [00:44:01] You want to come over and fuck? [00:44:02] Like, are we filming? [00:44:03] Like, this is what we do for you. [00:44:05] From the table. [00:44:06] We have shooting 36 hours. [00:44:08] This girl's swallowing cum for nothing? [00:44:11] What an idiot. [00:44:12] Like, their porn stars swallow and come for free. [00:44:15] Yeah. [00:44:15] That's the ultimate compliment. [00:44:16] You get a porn star, just swallow your nut for nothing. [00:44:19] Yeah. [00:44:19] Yo. [00:44:20] Wow. [00:44:21] That's like you doing a set for a girl. [00:44:23] Yeah. [00:44:24] I mean, like, been there. [00:44:28] So, yeah, so we'll see what happens. [00:44:29] But very exciting time for fight sports. [00:44:31] Very exciting time for fight sports. [00:44:34] What else we got? [00:44:35] We'll take a little break for a second. [00:44:37] All right, guys, we're going to take a break for a second because it's getting hot out there, man. [00:44:41] Them balls are getting sweaty. [00:44:43] Okay. [00:44:43] You got some sweaty balls. [00:44:45] That gooch dripping. [00:44:47] Just dripping. [00:46:54] I had to take a little peek break, but we are back. === Lockdown Madness Returns (11:07) === [00:46:58] All right, we got to talk about the number one country song in the world right now. [00:47:01] Bruh. [00:47:02] We got to talk about the nut. [00:47:03] It's number one somewhere. [00:47:04] I don't know. [00:47:05] It's number one on some list. [00:47:07] It's number one on our list. [00:47:08] Country is back. [00:47:09] Country is back. [00:47:10] This is the number one country song for Flagrant 2 fans in America right now. [00:47:13] Facts, bro. [00:47:14] Not even close. [00:47:15] Yeah. [00:47:15] I mean, there might be some close ones. [00:47:18] But, but, no, no bullshit. [00:47:20] Thank you guys so much for watching the video, sharing the video, streaming it. [00:47:23] Like, we did over a million views in the first week, which was unbelievable. [00:47:27] And that's just on the video platforms. [00:47:29] And then also the fucking streams are crazy. [00:47:31] So we were actually top 200 country song in the world. [00:47:35] That's we were 182 at one point. [00:47:38] We might have even gone higher, but yeah, we just want to say thank you so much. [00:47:42] Open her up is fucking doing it. [00:47:44] I got a video of this dude. [00:47:46] I forget his handle, but he was playing it. [00:47:48] He's a DJ and he was playing it. [00:47:50] And the crowd was just looking absolutely clueless. [00:47:53] And it was so fucking funny. [00:47:55] But yo, DJs, keep playing that shit. [00:47:57] Asshole army. [00:47:57] Gonna figure it out. [00:47:58] Son, they're gonna figure it out. [00:47:59] This goes as far as y'all want it to go. [00:48:01] So if y'all wanted to be the summer banger, then bang that shit as much as you possibly can. [00:48:07] First time they played Michael Jackson, people didn't know what it was. [00:48:09] That's a fact. [00:48:10] Right? [00:48:10] Well, yeah, I mean, Jackson 5, they're like, what is it? [00:48:14] First time they played Jackson 5, people don't know what it was. [00:48:16] Exactly. [00:48:17] Why are these kids singing? [00:48:18] Yeah. [00:48:18] That's what they were thinking. [00:48:19] That's what they were thinking about us. [00:48:20] Why are these kids singing? [00:48:22] Y'all. [00:48:22] Well, bro, I don't know. [00:48:24] I'm just very proud. [00:48:25] That was my goal for the views. [00:48:27] And now my next goal is number one country song in the world. [00:48:30] So we got to open her up. [00:48:31] And that's just what it is. [00:48:33] So we're going to have to do it. [00:48:35] And I think the place that needs to spearhead this movement is Ontario, Canada. [00:48:41] Oh, yeah. [00:48:42] Yeah, a few Canadians hit me. [00:48:44] My family's there. [00:48:45] They are miserable. [00:48:46] What's going on? [00:48:47] Son, they are, it is unbelievable what's happening right now. [00:48:51] It's unbelievable what's happening right now in Canada. [00:48:54] They are locked down yet again. [00:48:56] I guess they can't get vaccines, right? [00:48:58] Keep that shit. [00:48:59] Keep that same energy with your healthcare talks. [00:49:01] Keep your same energy with your fucking healthcare talks next time around. [00:49:04] All right. [00:49:05] We're going to remind you this whole shit. [00:49:06] I think they can't get it because we aren't sending them. [00:49:09] Yeah, some shit like that. [00:49:10] Miles are trying to explain it. [00:49:11] Yeah, like we snatched a bunch of them. [00:49:12] We were like, oh, whoa, whoa, we actually need them shits. [00:49:14] Yeah. [00:49:14] Yeah. [00:49:14] We call dibs, I think. [00:49:16] When you make the shit, you get to call dibs. [00:49:18] Yeah, we say shotguns. [00:49:19] And what the fuck is Bernie Sanders talking all this shit in Canada? [00:49:21] Blah, They don't need those drugs. [00:49:23] They need the vaccine and they don't got them now. [00:49:25] Bernie's quiet right now about how cheap drugs are in Canada. [00:49:28] How much a vaccine goes for? [00:49:30] How much of Johnson Johnson? [00:49:31] We're about to send you to Johnson Johnson's. [00:49:33] Is that the one that's fucked up? [00:49:34] Yeah, yeah. [00:49:35] We're about to send you them Johnson Johnson's. [00:49:36] That's what you're going to get, Canada. [00:49:38] Have you all looking like, hey, you guys? [00:49:40] We're going to have you looking like, hey, you guys out there. [00:49:43] Okay? [00:49:44] Anyway, point is, Ontario is locked the fuck down, and I think you need to open her up. [00:49:49] Full lockdown. [00:49:50] Yo, it's on some like Nazi shit almost. [00:49:54] They basically have given cops the authority to just stop cars and like ask them for proof that they have permission to leave the house. [00:50:01] Because you're out past like eight o'clock. [00:50:02] You have to have a valid reason. [00:50:04] You could get fined like five grand. [00:50:05] Immediate fine right there. [00:50:06] It's unbelievable what they're doing to these people. [00:50:09] And this is the conversation that we got to start to have, right? [00:50:11] Is that you have places like Texas, Florida, fully open, people going to sporting events, and numbers are going down. [00:50:17] Yeah. [00:50:18] At what point does the lockdown become anti-science? [00:50:24] Their argument this whole time is: we trust the science, we trust the science. [00:50:28] Motherfuckers is out there, no lockdown, no masks. [00:50:32] My girl did a Barry's boot camp this morning. [00:50:34] No masks in the class. [00:50:37] Who's science is right? [00:50:39] Say what? [00:50:39] You couldn't go because you're on. [00:50:40] Yeah, man. [00:50:41] I'm not going to be picking up the heavies. [00:50:43] No, I can't pick up the heavies, bro. [00:50:44] I got to do double tread. [00:50:47] I can't switch and do them weights, dog. [00:50:50] So at what point does it become anti-science? [00:50:53] I think there might be something to places with warm weather have less cases of corona, period. [00:50:58] But if that's the case, you got to look at why. [00:51:00] Is it just vitamin D? [00:51:01] I bet. [00:51:02] Everybody take fucking supplements for a month or whatever, and then we just live and open it up. [00:51:05] Like, figure out, you can't just look at one aspect of the science and be like, all right, well, we got to lock down. [00:51:10] Yeah. [00:51:10] Look at the whole picture. [00:51:11] It's not doesn't seem that hard to me. [00:51:13] Yeah. [00:51:13] Yeah. [00:51:14] I mean, it's just mind-boggling to me, man, especially with Canada. [00:51:17] And I don't know if we were talking about this on Patreon, but like these motherfuckers get three weeks of sunshine, dog. [00:51:22] Yeah. [00:51:22] Like, that's literally what they get. [00:51:23] Like, summer is short in Canada. [00:51:25] Like, very short. [00:51:26] I mean, I'm being sarcastic, but I'm actually not. [00:51:28] We're talking about two months where it's like legit summer and then it's back. [00:51:32] And even at the end of summer, it starts to get a little cool. [00:51:35] So they need summer. [00:51:36] Yeah. [00:51:37] These people have been locked down for a year. [00:51:38] They're going to go fucking crazy. [00:51:40] I don't feel the same way about like Texas or Florida. [00:51:42] If you want to lock them down, these people have like houses with pools and shit. [00:51:45] This doesn't really feel like lockdown. [00:51:47] In Canada, you live in Ontario. [00:51:49] You are in an apartment building for a fucking year, 13 months, 14 months, 15 months. [00:51:54] If they come back to next fall, next winter, people are going to kill themselves out there, yo. [00:51:58] You're going to have more deaths from suicide, alcohol, depression than you will from coronavirus. [00:52:02] I mean, we're already seeing how crazy shit is after lockdown in America. [00:52:06] Shit is nuts. [00:52:07] Well, you mean like partying? [00:52:08] Partying. [00:52:09] Fucking everybody's out there wild. [00:52:11] The whirring 20s, that's what they call it. [00:52:12] Fucking the whore. [00:52:14] I think it's backfiring a little bit in Canada because they've been in lockdown so long. [00:52:19] They're having a lot of house parties. [00:52:21] Like I see a lot of people. [00:52:22] Which makes it even worse. [00:52:23] You got to also think about that. [00:52:24] Because people are in close quarters. [00:52:26] It can't just be one solution. [00:52:28] Oh, cases are up. [00:52:29] Lock everything down. [00:52:30] You can't do the same shit four times in a row if it hasn't worked. [00:52:33] You know what I mean? [00:52:34] It didn't work the first time. [00:52:34] It didn't work the second time. [00:52:35] Hey, let's keep doing it. [00:52:36] The science. [00:52:37] No, science says if a fucking experiment fails, you try something else. [00:52:40] You tweak it somehow. [00:52:42] That's the science. [00:52:43] So you can't just get, hey, the science. [00:52:45] Let's go back to the first thing that fucked up. [00:52:47] I guess they did tweak it, though. [00:52:48] They made it harder. [00:52:49] They made the lockdown more restrictive. [00:52:50] Like they pushed up the curfew time. [00:52:52] Yeah. [00:52:53] To your point, they did tweak it where they were like, all right, it didn't work last time. [00:52:56] Let's make it more strict. [00:52:57] Yeah. [00:52:58] And it is crazy to see a place like Canada. [00:53:01] And I'm not trying to insult them as liberal cucks, but like. [00:53:05] Government overreach, bro. [00:53:07] It is interesting, though, because they are a far more compliant culture than Americans are. [00:53:14] Like, Americans, you tell us to do anything. [00:53:16] We say, fuck you. [00:53:16] We grab a gun and then we go to the state house. [00:53:18] Country is legit born in rebellion, this country. [00:53:20] Yes. [00:53:21] It's in our blood, in our DNA. [00:53:22] And the people that come here rebelled from their countries. [00:53:24] That's all we are. [00:53:25] It's a bunch of fucking rebels. [00:53:26] So if you try to get us to do anything, we're going to lose our fucking mind. [00:53:30] Okay. [00:53:31] Canada, not the same. [00:53:34] Right? [00:53:34] Like, I've said this plenty of times before, but they still got the queen on their money. [00:53:38] Like, they're really not giving much pushback, right? [00:53:40] Like, you got the queen on your money. [00:53:42] Like, push back on that bare minimum. [00:53:44] Yeah. [00:53:45] Bare minimum. [00:53:46] So the fact that they're reaching their breaking point, the fact that I got people in the fucking DMs non-stop going, yo, it's crazy what's happening right here right now. [00:53:54] And I'm talking about liberal concern. [00:53:55] It doesn't matter. [00:53:55] We're not talking about like the oil parts of Canada. [00:53:58] It's getting into like the scary zone where people are like, yeah, it's like, I didn't think that our government would do this to us. [00:54:03] And that was the trust that they had in their government. [00:54:05] And what's really interesting is like, how did they get out of this? [00:54:08] Because the trust they had in their government was, I'm going to trust, it's like a babysitter. [00:54:12] I'm going to trust you with my kids. [00:54:13] Don't molest them. [00:54:14] Yeah. [00:54:15] The second the babysitter touches the kids, you don't trust no babysitters anymore ever. [00:54:19] Yeah. [00:54:19] Right? [00:54:20] You broke the trust. [00:54:21] And that's what they had with their government. [00:54:23] They're like, hey, we'll do anything you say because we trust that you have our best interests at heart. [00:54:28] And to be fair to Canada, for the most part, they did throughout history, right? [00:54:32] Yeah. [00:54:32] At least for their country. [00:54:33] I can't look at these like, and of course, how they treat Native Americans and I'm sure how they treated people of color has been fucked up. [00:54:39] I'm not talking about that. [00:54:40] I'm talking about like, give us your tax money and we'll make sure schools are affordable. [00:54:43] Give us your tax money. [00:54:44] We'll make sure you have health care. [00:54:45] Like they had a pretty good symbiotic relationship. [00:54:48] This is egregious. [00:54:50] And I don't know if you could rebound from this. [00:54:52] I think you just created some rebels, bro. [00:54:55] I think you just created, you have, you have family there, right? [00:54:57] A whole majority in Toronto. [00:54:59] And they're with Trudeau right now, who's a liberal. [00:55:02] Before they were with Harper, it doesn't matter what side you're on. [00:55:05] You still supported the system of like Canada, healthcare, for the most part, and just everything that was going on. [00:55:12] Not anymore. [00:55:13] Not anymore. [00:55:14] I'm telling you. [00:55:15] Mark, you're Canadian. [00:55:19] That's the thing. [00:55:20] Wow, you're Canadian, huh? [00:55:21] Yeah, I'm fucking liberal, dude. [00:55:24] My dad's Canadian. [00:55:25] I'm a liberal cuck, dude. [00:55:26] I'm fucked up. [00:55:27] No, but it's like, I'm assuming that all of the measures are actually enforced. [00:55:30] Like, even being in New York, we had like curfews and stuff like that. [00:55:34] People will call me being like, man, it must be crazy, right? [00:55:36] Yeah. [00:55:36] Mean, like the rule is you can't go out, but like you can go out. [00:55:40] Yeah, it's like jaywalking. [00:55:41] Yeah, I'm walking up the street, you know. [00:55:42] I mean, like, it wasn't actually really enforced, so I'm assuming that in Canada, it actually is enforced. [00:55:47] Like, the things we're hearing about are as bad as they actually are. [00:55:50] But, like, that's one thing that I'm like, I need to be sure on. [00:55:53] But I don't know, it just seems like it's those types of lockdowns that people were like, nah, it's not going to get bad until it's bad. [00:56:00] And it was like, this is part of the conversation, like, we were having here is like it gets bad, and then people are locked in their houses getting fined for going outside, assuming that's what's actually happening. [00:56:08] Yeah, yeah, I don't know. [00:56:09] It's frustrating. [00:56:10] Like, it's a good example of how things can creep up and like how people can actually be restricted by governments going crazy with power. [00:56:17] Yeah. [00:56:18] What is interesting, though, is India's on a full lot. [00:56:20] Under the guise of safety, by the way, that's the trickiest thing. [00:56:23] Yeah. [00:56:24] And it is safe. [00:56:25] It's always under the guise of safety. [00:56:26] We're doing this to protect you. [00:56:27] We're doing this to protect you. [00:56:28] Well, I don't necessarily think they have nefarious intentions, but I do think it's. [00:56:32] They might not. [00:56:32] They just look at a thing one way and they're like, all right, all right. [00:56:35] Well, that didn't work the first time. [00:56:37] Let's do more of it. [00:56:37] And it's like, bro, you should be more creative thinkers. [00:56:40] A year later, they have to be having a different answer. [00:56:42] Let's say, like, okay, let's just lock up the vulnerable. [00:56:46] Yeah. [00:56:46] You're out. [00:56:46] And that's what at least you should be to a point. [00:56:50] They won't say it. [00:56:50] They don't want to say it. [00:56:51] It might not be nefarious. [00:56:52] I don't know. [00:56:53] I'm not saying that the government's trying to control their people and hurt them and all that. [00:56:57] They're legitimately trying to treat the problem. [00:56:59] But the solution is by restricting people's freedoms and not letting people go out. [00:57:02] And it is working probably. [00:57:03] Like, numbers are probably going down because people are trapped in their house for 16 hours. [00:57:06] Yeah, that's going to make numbers go down. [00:57:07] And it's going to affect a lot of other shit, but it's going to make numbers go down. [00:57:10] So if that's their only objective, then they're probably succeeding in that regard. [00:57:13] But to me, it's like an infringement on human liberties and what human beings are supposed to be doing. [00:57:17] Bro, at a certain point in time, you can't, you're going to break a human spirit, bro. [00:57:21] Especially when they're sick. [00:57:22] Because that's the thing. [00:57:22] It's like if everybody's locked down, we'd spoken about this earlier when it came to doing stand-up again, right? [00:57:27] Yeah. [00:57:28] Like we're sitting around, I think it was all of us, but we were just like, yo, do you guys like miss stand-up? [00:57:32] And we're like, yeah, I miss it, but like no one else is doing it. [00:57:36] So it's kind of okay. [00:57:37] Yeah. [00:57:38] You know, like it almost feels like Christmas. [00:57:40] Like when everybody's not working, I don't feel any pressure to work. [00:57:43] But if I'm just taking a random Thursday off, I'm like, whoa, is everybody out there getting it? [00:57:47] Yeah. [00:57:48] And I'm missing, you know? [00:57:49] So like, I feel like the fact that Texas is open as fuck, Florida is open. [00:57:55] Like you're seeing your sports team. [00:57:57] You're the Toronto Raptors. [00:57:58] You're seeing people at the stadium for your sports team. [00:58:03] And you can't even leave your house. === Summer Heat and Drama (15:20) === [00:58:05] That's when shit starts to drive you a little crazy. [00:58:07] And the daily death rate across the entire country, yesterday's 32 people. [00:58:13] This whole last two weeks, it's been under 100. [00:58:16] It's never. [00:58:16] But it's usually based on like hospitalization and when the hospital numbers get to a certain extent. [00:58:21] Yeah, like beds and all of that. [00:58:22] But there's still, you know, who's vulnerable. [00:58:24] You need to start focusing on protecting those. [00:58:27] Doug Ford, you need to call up fucking Texas Professor X. What's that motherfucker's name? [00:58:32] Oh, shit. [00:58:33] Abbott. [00:58:33] Greg. [00:58:34] Abbott. [00:58:34] You need to call up Abbott and you need to find out what the fuck he's doing over there. [00:58:38] And also, shout out to his daughter. [00:58:40] His daughter's kind of a pain. [00:58:42] Really? [00:58:44] Oh, it's kind of a bad thing. [00:58:46] Kind of about there. [00:58:46] She might not die on it. [00:58:50] Yeah, Nah, dude, she got a rig, bro. [00:58:54] Whoa. [00:58:55] Really? [00:58:56] I don't know. [00:58:57] She got the full rig? [00:58:58] Yeah, she got a rig, dude. [00:58:59] Jordan used that when we were working out, use that term. [00:59:01] And I guess I was like, ah, that's a cool term. [00:59:06] They got weird like slang. [00:59:07] Yeah, because all the slang has to do with like workout things. [00:59:11] Beauty, did he say that to you? [00:59:12] Beauty. [00:59:13] What? [00:59:13] He says that to me all the time. [00:59:14] Beauty. [00:59:15] I'm like, what's beauty? [00:59:16] Am I beauty? [00:59:17] Oh, like the move that you did was beautiful. [00:59:19] Yeah. [00:59:19] Yeah. [00:59:20] But he won't say beautiful. [00:59:20] He just say beauty. [00:59:21] Yo, did you just change the topic from tits to you working? [00:59:24] Yeah. [00:59:26] I was working out today. [00:59:27] Speaking of tits, mine ain't going nowhere. [00:59:29] What's the problem? [00:59:31] What is that? [00:59:33] So, yeah, crack that bitch open. [00:59:35] Yo, open her up. [00:59:36] Y'all should be playing that shit non-stop in Canada. [00:59:38] I want, instead of seven o'clock clapping out your window, I want you to be blasting open her up out your windows. [00:59:47] Yeah, clap something else. [00:59:49] Clap something else. [00:59:50] What is it? [00:59:50] Their hands. [00:59:51] Clap your hands. [00:59:53] Well, no, play open her up. [00:59:55] Sing that shit out your apartment windows, out your condos, out your houses, out whatever the fuck it is you got in Ontario. [01:00:01] Slap that shit. [01:00:02] That is your anthem right now. [01:00:03] Also, ours. [01:00:06] And yeah, man, it's just crazy. [01:00:08] It's just crazy to see Corona be so fucking done down here in Florida and like it starts to crack open in other places. [01:00:14] Like New York is kind of looking lit right now. [01:00:17] You were back there this weekend, right? [01:00:18] A little fire or what? [01:00:20] It's nice. [01:00:21] They still have the curfew. [01:00:22] I think they're extending it this week. [01:00:24] So it's good. [01:00:25] Like, I love that they're extending it, but it's also so insulting that like the chimp nipple sauce monkey governor can go, you can stay out to nine now. [01:00:35] I mean, they're still doing that here. [01:00:37] But that's my extended curfew here in Miami. [01:00:40] What do you mean? [01:00:41] They have a middle break. [01:00:41] This weekend. [01:00:42] It just got extended. [01:00:43] There's a curfew in Miami, bro. [01:00:45] Everything shuts down at midnight. [01:00:46] You can be out, but everything shuts down. [01:00:47] Yeah, but let's why they did it, right? [01:00:50] Spring break is done. [01:00:52] Oh, they did the curfew for spring break. [01:00:53] No, no, no. [01:00:54] They had it. [01:00:55] They had it to a certain point, but they weren't going to lift it during spring break. [01:01:00] What type of liberal car? [01:01:03] Florida. [01:01:04] Yeah. [01:01:05] Listen, listen. [01:01:06] Mark, you got an explanation? [01:01:07] There was no curfew. [01:01:08] There wasn't a curfew. [01:01:09] We're at Poppy Steak at two in the morning. [01:01:10] Two in the morning. [01:01:12] Stupid. [01:01:14] There's one of you. [01:01:15] Oh, there was a curfew. [01:01:16] I think South Beach had a curfew at like one or something. [01:01:19] No, when we were out in Wynwood, right? [01:01:20] When was spring break happened? [01:01:21] Dove and me went out and what? [01:01:22] 12 o'clock? [01:01:23] Everything shut down. [01:01:23] He just said that shit so he could go on a date. [01:01:25] He didn't want to hang out with you no more. [01:01:28] He'd be doing that to me, dog. [01:01:29] He was doing that to me. [01:01:30] I had round two. [01:01:31] He didn't meet. [01:01:32] He did. [01:01:32] Dove like the Dub out there. [01:01:41] Dub out there taking out one of the on a little date. [01:01:44] Whoa. [01:01:45] Really? [01:01:47] Yeah. [01:01:48] So come back, producer. [01:01:50] Oh, good fucking Scott. [01:01:53] I told you, Mark. [01:01:54] Yo, I saw him and I was like, I don't like it. [01:01:56] I said it to you. [01:01:57] He's out there in front of the what, Andrew? [01:02:00] What? [01:02:02] He was sitting there in front of her. [01:02:03] And I was like, I literally pointed to you. [01:02:05] I said, I don't like what you're doing right now. [01:02:06] I said that. [01:02:07] I said we were going to talk about it and then we never did. [01:02:09] Planting the seeds. [01:02:11] Yeah. [01:02:11] So he's been to find some seeds all right. [01:02:14] He's about to lay down the manure. [01:02:16] He walked up and went, treated like a clown's nose, bro. [01:02:21] No, have you, have you touched? [01:02:22] Have you touched that? [01:02:23] My man's about to do some horticulture. [01:02:26] Have you played? [01:02:28] I don't know. [01:02:30] He's playing as easy gardening, yo. [01:02:32] Oh, I thought you were like the whore and horticulture. [01:02:34] I was going through a whole different part. [01:02:36] But both work. [01:02:38] That was a triple entendre. [01:02:40] Okay, so have you touched that? [01:02:45] Dude, no comment from the Dove Its, dude? [01:02:48] Pleading the Fid, dog. [01:02:49] Yeah. [01:02:50] Wow. [01:02:50] What do you think she's going to plead? [01:02:54] For you to take your fucking hands off her because you've been pleading for that. [01:03:01] Three months ago. [01:03:02] Three months ago, you were talking to the whole flagrant army how I have this amazing game. [01:03:06] And now all of a sudden, I'm a Jewie producer or a dove. [01:03:10] That is a good point. [01:03:11] We did flip-flop on a flip-flop. [01:03:13] You know what we do on this show, David? [01:03:15] You were in the spin cycle right there. [01:03:17] There were five guys in there, dude. [01:03:18] I was nervous. [01:03:19] Also, we never denied you were a Jewy producer. [01:03:22] That's what you said. [01:03:23] We called you. [01:03:23] You said that with so much animosity, bro. [01:03:26] No, dude. [01:03:26] Dude, did you just negotiate a lease or something? [01:03:28] What's going on? [01:03:29] He's asked me three times, and I'm going to have to. [01:03:32] I gasped right there, bro. [01:03:34] I gossiped at the way you said that. [01:03:36] That was too strong. [01:03:37] I heard my bad. [01:03:38] Yeah, show the fuck up, dude. [01:03:40] What are you having right here? [01:03:41] Oh, it's a bad thing. [01:03:42] Oh, you've been having some red tan shit? [01:03:44] Oh, shit. [01:03:47] Yo, yo, shout out to my boy, real quick, before we get back to Dove having sex with his talent. [01:03:56] Before we get back, which he has not done, okay? [01:03:58] And he may or may not be attempting to do, okay? [01:04:01] But shouts to him. [01:04:03] What? [01:04:04] What? [01:04:04] They're just going on business meetings. [01:04:06] Okay? [01:04:07] They are. [01:04:08] You've never, hey, have you been on the panel? [01:04:10] Hey, The beef jerky is amazing. [01:04:17] Yo, you like that beef jerky? [01:04:19] That's for my boy. [01:04:20] Work. [01:04:20] Yeah. [01:04:21] That's for my boy. [01:04:21] Snitch on yourself. [01:04:22] Have you ever. [01:04:25] Have you met my boy snitch on yourself? [01:04:27] He is lit. [01:04:28] He's fat, man. [01:04:29] He's fucking crazy. [01:04:31] So, um. [01:04:32] I'm getting evidence right now. [01:04:35] I was still in the jerk. [01:04:36] Making sure everything. [01:04:37] Shading on me first, bro. [01:04:41] Paper trailer is clean. [01:04:42] Leave me alone. [01:04:43] Okay. [01:04:43] I'm a sweet boy. [01:04:44] That's my boy. [01:04:45] That's my boy, Duddits, bro. [01:04:47] A shooter. [01:04:48] Motherfucker is a shooter. [01:04:50] Bagel bite over there. [01:04:51] Damn. [01:04:52] Bagel bite. [01:04:53] Damn, that sounds a little hateful, too, bro. [01:04:56] You okay, boy? [01:04:58] Are you okay? [01:04:58] I'm also negotiating at least. [01:05:01] Yo. [01:05:02] Guys, I got to protect my Jews. [01:05:04] He's a snag. [01:05:05] Say what? [01:05:06] He's a snag. [01:05:06] Oh, he's a snack. [01:05:07] He's a bagel bite. [01:05:08] He's a little bagel bite. [01:05:09] How do you feel on the racist meter out? [01:05:12] It was more gay than races to me. [01:05:15] Dude, is gay Trump racism? [01:05:17] Yeah. [01:05:17] Always, right? [01:05:19] Like, if a racist was looking at a gay, like a super gay black guy, what do you think the first thing he would comment on? [01:05:26] That's a good thing. [01:05:27] A homophobic racist. [01:05:28] That's a real selfie's choice of racism. [01:05:30] Yeah. [01:05:30] Homophobic racist is sees like Montero. [01:05:33] What's his name? [01:05:34] Lil Nasak. [01:05:35] Lil Nas X. [01:05:35] A homophobic racist sees the Lil Nas X video. [01:05:38] First thing he comments on. [01:05:41] I think it's F. [01:05:42] I think it's pretty F precedes the N. Really? [01:05:46] So it goes reverse alphabetical. [01:05:50] Yeah, that's just like vowels, bro. [01:05:51] F before N and except after C. Really? [01:05:58] Yeah. [01:05:59] I think so. [01:06:00] I can see it, though, because even like a super race is too seized. [01:06:02] What? [01:06:03] Well, I can see it, though, because they're going out because I believe in God. [01:06:08] According to God, what? [01:06:12] According to what God said. [01:06:14] Yeah. [01:06:14] You didn't read what God said, bro? [01:06:16] I didn't. [01:06:16] Okay. [01:06:17] You should read up. [01:06:18] I missed that. [01:06:19] He wrote the shit down, bro. [01:06:20] Man shall not lay with another man. [01:06:25] He said, yo, your man's should not lay with your man's, bro. [01:06:30] What if God spoke like that? [01:06:31] What if God spoke about that? [01:06:33] Yo, Bronx God would be so fired, dog. [01:06:35] Bronx Jesus? [01:06:36] Fam, don't covet thy neighbors. [01:06:39] Bitch. [01:06:39] Yes. [01:06:41] I was trying to go somewhere else, bitch, but that was good. [01:06:44] That just hit. [01:06:45] What are some other ones? [01:06:46] What's the first one? [01:06:49] Honor the father and mother. [01:06:52] Yo. [01:06:52] Honor thy mother because yo, pops probably ain't around. [01:06:56] Man, motherfucker is just leaving his shit. [01:06:58] Come around every three weeks, try to leave off some Air Force Ones that he wore already. [01:07:03] That's a fast-ass young man. [01:07:05] That's a fast young man. [01:07:06] I can see how fast he is. [01:07:07] Fucking creases all over these Air Force Ones. [01:07:09] He's been running around town in these shits. [01:07:11] Yeah. [01:07:12] All right, this bit is losing steam. [01:07:13] So, listen, what were we about to go into? [01:07:17] Oh, I want to talk about something very important near and dear to my heart. [01:07:21] I want to talk about something very important, near and dear to my heart. [01:07:23] What's that? [01:07:24] Okay. [01:07:26] My boy started a beef jerky company. [01:07:28] Okay. [01:07:28] Well, a jerky company. [01:07:30] He doesn't just do beef jerky. [01:07:31] He does all jerky. [01:07:32] This is pinapple. [01:07:33] This is pinapple. [01:07:34] This is not this is not an advertisement. [01:07:36] He is not paying us or anything like this. [01:07:37] This is my boy as my brother. [01:07:39] He did Venmo me $50. [01:07:40] He did Venmo Mark $50. [01:07:41] I'll promote this to the end of time. [01:07:43] Yeah, so that's going to happen. [01:07:44] He gave me advisory shares. [01:07:45] He gave you advisory shares. [01:07:46] That's totally fine. [01:07:46] But in all seriousness, this is my brother, Laurent. [01:07:49] I've known Laurent since I was 13 years old. [01:07:51] We went to high school together. [01:07:52] We call him Twinkle Toes because out of nowhere, once we were just doing dance movies, that motherfucker brought out the Twinkle Toes. [01:07:57] Never did it again. [01:07:58] But he did the craziest dance in front of all of us. [01:08:01] We didn't even know he spoke English. [01:08:02] Like, he never really learned English, never really learned French. [01:08:05] He got done how to communicate, but he knows how to make jerky. [01:08:08] Okay. [01:08:08] If you were trying to get into a club in New York City in the last decade, he was probably the one that told you that you can't get in. [01:08:14] Okay. [01:08:15] And he decides to lead that life and then start a fucking jerky company. [01:08:18] I love this kid. [01:08:18] I mean this sincerely. [01:08:19] I love this. [01:08:20] My brother. [01:08:20] This is my brother. [01:08:21] And it gives me great pride to promote something that he's been working his fucking ass on for really for years, putting this whole thing together. [01:08:28] And he did, it's called JerkYourMeat, jerkyourmeat.com. [01:08:32] I'm telling you, the pineapple party jerky jerky meat is the best dried pineapple mango. [01:08:37] It doesn't matter. [01:08:38] Whole foods, go fuck yourself. [01:08:39] Trader Jones, go fuck yourself. [01:08:40] You're not even coming close. [01:08:42] This is the fucking truth. [01:08:44] The K-Town beef jerky, unfucking real, the Korean bean paste flavor is brilliant. [01:08:50] Who would have thought to fucking do it? [01:08:52] I'm telling you guys, go check this out right now. [01:08:54] Jerk Your Meat. [01:08:55] He said he gave you all 20% off of use the promo code Flagrant. [01:08:59] This is my brother. [01:09:00] I'm not promoting this for any other reason that I think that is the truth. [01:09:03] And I think he's a fucking amazing dude. [01:09:05] He supports the hell out of the flagrancy. [01:09:07] And yeah, I just love him. [01:09:08] Laurent, I fucking love you. [01:09:10] I wish you the best of luck with everything. [01:09:11] JerkyourMeat.com, promo code flagrant. [01:09:14] Go support him. [01:09:15] Let's blow his fucking shit up. [01:09:16] Okay, send us more to the studio because we're eating this shit all day. [01:09:21] All day. [01:09:21] Laurent, send us more. [01:09:22] Stop fucking around, yo. [01:09:24] So, from an Indian, Thunduri Chicken is nice. [01:09:26] Okay, we got the cosign. [01:09:29] So the official cosine. [01:09:30] I didn't want to put words in your mouth, but the fact that I knew it was Thunduri too, giving me my motherfucking props. [01:09:35] But that shit was good. [01:09:36] So anyway, Laurent, we love you. [01:09:37] We appreciate you. [01:09:38] And everybody, go check it out. [01:09:39] Support my man. [01:09:40] I'm telling you this, guys, is the truth. [01:09:42] And truly, one of the most genuine, kind, sweet individuals, and an honest friend. [01:09:46] Like, he will tell you if some shit ain't shit. [01:09:48] And he literally will to your face. [01:09:50] And I've always valued that about him. [01:09:52] I love you, Laurent. [01:09:52] I'm so proud of you, man. [01:09:53] So we're going to blow this up. [01:09:54] Asshole Army, get on that shit right now. [01:09:57] Yeah. [01:09:58] Another shout-out. [01:09:59] Yeah. [01:09:59] Shout out to Liquid Dead. [01:10:00] They filmed me 50 bucks. [01:10:02] Mark! [01:10:04] I'm hustling, bro. [01:10:05] I'm on the side. [01:10:06] Making cash. [01:10:07] They really are supporting us, I think. [01:10:10] I'm double up. [01:10:11] You're underselling us, Mark. [01:10:13] You just undersold us. [01:10:14] Yeah, but I'm doubling up. [01:10:15] No, you're not. [01:10:17] Okay. [01:10:19] Why was this thing got no fucking words on it? [01:10:22] So, what was it? [01:10:23] The other thing I was going to say. [01:10:24] Oh, another thing. [01:10:25] I got to do another shout-out. [01:10:26] I want to have a nice shout-out section for people who are just doing great shit. [01:10:29] We got to shout out Ping Trip. [01:10:30] I think that's how you pronounce it. [01:10:32] Oh, yeah. [01:10:33] P-I-N-G-T-R. [01:10:35] I think it's the letter one. [01:10:37] The letter one. [01:10:38] The number one. [01:10:40] I'm vaxx, bro. [01:10:40] I'm fully vaxxed. [01:10:42] I'm fully vaxxed. [01:10:43] Numbers of letters now. [01:10:44] It's crazy. [01:10:44] Son. [01:10:45] Ping trip. [01:10:48] Basically, I got this video from Ping Trip. [01:10:54] I've been a big fan of his work. [01:10:55] If any of you guys have seen it, I'm super honored that he did this with a Flagrant 2 episode. [01:10:59] He has been doing these like remixed versions of Rogan episodes where he basically creates a completely different conversation than the one that's going on with the episode. [01:11:12] And it's unbelievably brilliant. [01:11:14] He adds music, editing. [01:11:15] Like he literally goes through the whole episode and then scripts this interaction that is not there. [01:11:19] Yeah. [01:11:20] He creates something out of nothing just through editing, music, push-ins, and stuff like that. [01:11:23] And he did it with our episode with Alex Jones. [01:11:26] Yeah. [01:11:26] And it is so fucking funny. [01:11:28] I mean, it feels like a horror movie. [01:11:30] Yeah. [01:11:30] And I put it up on my Instagram. [01:11:32] It's up on his YouTube and Instagram as well. [01:11:34] And I'm telling you, the most random people have been hitting me up being like, yo, this is absolutely fucking hilarious. [01:11:39] Like Doug Stanhope out of No Regular. [01:11:41] I just saw a video that just fucking made me cry. [01:11:43] Bro, Katie Perry. [01:11:44] Katie Perry's coming. [01:11:45] I mean, it's just wild. [01:11:46] It's so funny and it's just so cool. [01:11:48] And I just love that this guy took the initiative to just create these things, create his own little world. [01:11:53] And yeah, I just wanted to give him a shout out and let him know that we're fucking honored. [01:11:57] Like I know he does it with the GOATS podcast. [01:11:58] So it's really cool that he decided to do it with an episode of ours. [01:12:02] And so go give him some love, man. [01:12:04] Shout him out. [01:12:04] Give him some love because he absolutely deserves it. [01:12:09] And yeah, let's take a little break and then we'll come back. [01:12:12] Yeah, shout out Traeger Grills for the cup. [01:12:14] Thank you guys. [01:12:16] What up, guys? [01:12:16] We're going to take a break for a second because we need to get your dicks right. [01:12:19] Simple as that. [01:12:20] We need to get them fucking dicks right. [01:12:22] My dick been right. [01:12:23] Okay. [01:12:23] Because I'm chewing it up. [01:12:25] I'm chewing it up and I'm chewing it out. [01:12:27] And it is that simple. [01:12:29] Blue chew. [01:12:29] We're going to bluechew.com, hardest dicks on the planet. [01:12:32] All right. [01:12:33] It's a no-brainer. [01:12:34] Your girl deserves it. [01:12:35] Your wife deserves it. [01:12:36] Your side chick deserves it. [01:12:38] The new girl you haven't slept with just yet, but you want to leave a great impression on, she deserves it too. [01:12:45] She really deserves it too. [01:12:46] And the way you're going to do it is you're going to get Blue Chew. [01:12:49] Same active ingredient that's inside C. Alice or Viagra, but this is the chew. [01:12:53] This is better. [01:13:20] Well, look, enough of all that. [01:13:21] Dove, we're assuming that everything you're doing is buy the book. === Bluechew Free Month Offer (05:15) === [01:13:26] Okay. [01:13:27] The Bible, that book. [01:13:28] The Bible. [01:13:29] Yeah. [01:13:29] Which one? [01:13:29] Not the game. [01:13:31] The real Bible, not the prequel that you guys got. [01:13:34] Oh, shit. [01:13:35] Take that. [01:13:35] Yeah, volume take. [01:13:37] What about the graphic novel you guys have? [01:13:41] That's a great point, bro. [01:13:42] That's just like fan fiction. [01:13:46] Get some fucking words, bro. [01:13:49] Oh, wait a minute. [01:13:50] That's why you know. [01:13:51] Oh, that was brilliant. [01:13:51] I thought you were talking about Kama Sutra. [01:13:53] Nah, nah, nah. [01:13:54] Nah, that's actually pretty fire. [01:13:57] Before there was Marvel. [01:13:58] There was. [01:13:59] Dove is going to make a movie about one of the series. [01:14:02] A series. [01:14:04] Too many gods to just be one movie, bro. [01:14:06] That's a good ass point. [01:14:08] Back to what we were saying, which I forgot what the fuck it was. [01:14:10] Oh, so the reason why we're in Florida is because we put our faith in the leadership down here to keep shit open so we can continue living our lives and conducting our business. [01:14:20] Yes. [01:14:20] And I thought that it'd be a good idea that we sit down and have a conversation with some of the leadership down here in Miami that is keeping this open so people can keep their jobs and continue to thrive and make the entire world come down to Miami during this crazy tough time. [01:14:37] So Dove was able to reach out and connect us with the mayor of fucking Miami. [01:14:43] So without further ado, let's talk to Mr. Mayor Suarez. [01:14:47] Guys, we're very excited. [01:14:49] We have an extremely special guest today. [01:14:51] We have the mayor of the free world. [01:14:55] That's what we're going to call you. [01:14:56] The mayor of the free world. [01:14:58] Far more handsome on Zoom. [01:15:01] I have to admit, eyebrows looking immaculate. [01:15:04] We have the mayor of the city of Miami, the greatest city in the world right now, the most livable city in the world. [01:15:09] And I think the city that has the most potential in the entire world, Mayor Suarez, thank you so much for joining us. [01:15:17] Well, I couldn't agree with you more. [01:15:19] My eyebrows are real. [01:15:21] And I just want to be upfront and say that we believe that Miami is going to be the capital of capital. [01:15:28] We agree that. [01:15:29] Yeah, that's it. [01:15:31] We're going to be the place where the dreamers and the doers can do and dream in the future. [01:15:35] So it's an exciting time for us. [01:15:36] I love it. [01:15:37] Okay. [01:15:38] I'm Andrew, by the way. [01:15:39] This is Akash. [01:15:41] We also got Mark, the truffle, and Miles in the room. [01:15:43] But basically, my question for you, this, let's just start right here. [01:15:47] I moved five of my guys and their families from New York to Miami because I believed in the leadership in Miami. [01:15:56] Okay. [01:15:57] We want to get back to our business. [01:15:58] Obviously, we do podcasts. [01:16:00] We also do stand-up. [01:16:01] And I came down here for you. [01:16:04] I didn't know who you were, but I was like, somebody down there gets it. [01:16:07] Okay. [01:16:09] I really love what's going down here. [01:16:11] We fell in love with the city. [01:16:12] We're planning on moving back to New York in June. [01:16:16] Why should we not? [01:16:19] Wow. [01:16:19] There's so many reasons why you shouldn't. [01:16:21] But I'm going to start with the three most basic ones. [01:16:24] Okay. [01:16:24] The first is while cities like New York and a lot of cities in California are raising taxes and New York is on the precipice of passing a budget where they're going to raise taxes yet again, which is insane. [01:16:38] We in the city of Miami, who don't have an income tax, not at the state level, not at the city level, we're actually reducing taxes every year. [01:16:46] In fact, under my watch, we've reduced taxes to the second lowest level since the 1960s. [01:16:51] Secondly, while cities across America are defunding their police, we are increasing funding in our police. [01:16:58] We have the most police officers we've ever had in our history. [01:17:01] We reduced crime last year by 25%. [01:17:03] The year before that, we had the lowest homicide rate since 1954. [01:17:07] We have 555 homeless in the entire city. [01:17:10] Cities like New York and San Francisco and California have tens of thousands. [01:17:15] They've refused to prosecute what they consider petty crimes, which means that crime is rampant and the stickups, you know, people stealing things, breaking into cars, breaking into homes is through the roof. [01:17:30] And then I think the third reason why is probably the most important, which is I haven't found a person that can figure out a way to live yesterday again. [01:17:38] So that means you better be really confident that the place you're living in is the best place on the planet. [01:17:44] It's the best place, right? [01:17:47] So you better be pretty confident that the place you're living in is the best place on the planet. [01:17:52] And we feel pretty damn confident that that's what Miami is. [01:17:55] And we feel that way because we're investing in all of the things that people would want to experience. [01:18:00] We have incredible restaurants. [01:18:02] And you've experienced this already. [01:18:03] So you know this. [01:18:04] I'm telling you what you already know. [01:18:05] We have incredible restaurants. [01:18:06] We have incredible cultural facilities, art centers, science museums, art museums. [01:18:13] We have probably one of the best private art galleries in the world, best art festival in the world. [01:18:18] We have all the sports offerings. [01:18:20] We're about to get MLS, God willing, in Miami and Formula One. [01:18:23] We're the only city in the world that has all the major sports franchises, plus MLS and Formula One. [01:18:28] So it's just the real question is not why would you want to stay in Miami? [01:18:34] The real question is, how could you be crazy enough to leave? [01:18:39] I love it. [01:18:40] Okay. [01:18:40] All right, fair enough. === Miami Sports Boom (03:56) === [01:18:41] I do have a question, though. [01:18:42] And maybe this is an ignorant question, but hopefully you can explain it to me. [01:18:46] And maybe there's some other people out there who also feel it. [01:18:49] By the way, in the summers, I don't know if you're single or married or what your status is. [01:18:52] I'm married. [01:18:53] So I'm happily married 14 years. [01:18:55] But in the summers, there's this thing called the beach. [01:18:57] And it's a really cool place to go, particularly if you're single. [01:19:01] And you get to experience another part of Miami's beauty. [01:19:05] Ah, gotcha, gotcha. [01:19:07] The warm water, of course. [01:19:09] Yeah, yeah, yeah. [01:19:09] The not so nervous. [01:19:15] Okay, so we come here for the summer. [01:19:17] We check out that beauty. [01:19:18] Now, here's my question. [01:19:19] How is it that some cities need robust taxation to function and some cities or states don't? [01:19:28] Why can you guys function without all these taxes? [01:19:31] But in New York, I'm just getting screwed by taxes. [01:19:35] You know, they just have it wrong. [01:19:37] And I'll tell you this: we are blessed in a way because we were traumatized. [01:19:42] And what was our trauma? [01:19:43] Our trauma was that pretty much everybody here in Miami, or a lot of people here, were kicked out of a communist country. [01:19:49] And the communist experiment goes a little something like this. [01:19:53] Charismatic leader convinces everyone in the country that all they need to do is give all their property and all of their possessions and all of their businesses over to the government. [01:20:03] And the government will handle it all. [01:20:04] They'll make sure that everybody's equal and that everyone gets their fair share. [01:20:08] There's nobody rich. [01:20:09] There's nobody poor. [01:20:11] And that is one of the biggest frauds perpetuated on humanity. [01:20:15] And it's been perpetuated over and over and over again because it's very appealing. [01:20:19] If you're someone who grew up in a difficult neighborhood, if you're someone who is struggling to get by, it's really appealing when a leader comes to you and says, hey, I'm just going to take all the money away from the rich people and I'm going to spread it around the poor people and everybody's going to be equal and everything's going to be great. [01:20:34] Unfortunately, what's happened in the history of humanity is that every time it's been tried, the only equality that's produced is equal misery, right? [01:20:42] So Cuba, time capsule of the 1960s when capitalism went away. [01:20:47] Venezuela, second wealthiest country in the world. [01:20:50] Now 90% of the people live below the poverty level. [01:20:53] So communism is effective. [01:20:56] It's effective at destroying countries and destroying probably the single most important thing that we all have as human beings, which is hope. [01:21:04] Hope for the future. [01:21:05] I have one question though. [01:21:07] Isn't it true that communism creates some pretty smoking hot babes? [01:21:14] I don't know. [01:21:15] I mean, I guess in Miami, if you say that, you know, they need to. [01:21:18] That's Russia. [01:21:21] I'm just saying. [01:21:22] Cross-continental. [01:21:24] Wherever communism goes, cock chicks come. [01:21:26] So it's good for something. [01:21:29] They're not living there anymore. [01:21:30] They're living in Milan. [01:21:31] They're living in Miami. [01:21:33] Well, capitalism gets them out. [01:21:35] I mean, we're definitely going to find a way to extract all the resources from a resource-rich place. [01:21:42] 100%. [01:21:43] But communism has been good in just that regard. [01:21:46] But I hear you. [01:21:46] Maybe we should push back against communism. [01:21:48] Okay. [01:21:48] So it's selling a lie. [01:21:50] And right now, I guess you're saying like the people in New York, since we haven't experienced that, or a lot of our families haven't come from those places. [01:21:56] Like my mom comes from Scotland, right? [01:21:58] She didn't experience communism. [01:21:59] She doesn't know what to push back against. [01:22:01] So she's like, yeah, let's give a little bit more. [01:22:02] Let's give it a little bit more. [01:22:03] And eventually we give so much that there's misery is the only option. [01:22:06] That's what potentially people see. [01:22:08] Yeah, I mean, I think what happens is when you start getting to the point where you're paying 57%, 60%. [01:22:15] For every marginal dollar that you produce, you're only making 40 cents. [01:22:18] It's a huge disincentive to be productive, number one. [01:22:21] Number two, the people who are wealthy are like, I'm out of here. [01:22:24] They can go wherever they want. [01:22:25] The wealthy people can go wherever they want. [01:22:27] They can go to Puerto Rico. [01:22:28] They can go to Miami. [01:22:29] They can go to the Bahamas. [01:22:31] They can go to wherever they want. [01:22:32] Switzerland, right? [01:22:33] They can go anywhere. [01:22:34] So they're going to go to places where it's hospitable. === Tax Rates Drive Misery (14:52) === [01:22:38] And then the third thing is when you have cities like New York and other cities in California that are pushing out innovators, when Amazon created the HQ2 competition and they awarded one of the two HQ2s to New York, everybody's like, well, maybe New York's not dead after all. [01:22:55] And then all of a sudden they pushed out HQ2. [01:22:57] I was like, oh my God, this is insane. [01:22:59] How could you push out 50,000 high-paying jobs in a community? [01:23:03] That's just crazy. [01:23:05] And it's negligent. [01:23:06] You know what I mean? [01:23:07] In terms of those 50,000 people that would have had high-paying jobs, those families that would have benefited from it, all the downstream benefits to the restaurants and small businesses that benefit from a big company like that coming into a community. [01:23:22] You saw the same thing in San Francisco. [01:23:24] One of the councilwoman tweeted out, F. Elon Musk. [01:23:29] Message received and he took off and he's out of there. [01:23:32] Yeah, and AOC with the heavies was obviously doing that in New York and caused a little bit of a problem there. [01:23:39] Okay, so you've got us convinced, obviously, with the taxation. [01:23:43] I don't think anybody wants to pay more taxes. [01:23:45] I don't think that there'd be a single person on the planet like to give away more money. [01:23:48] And if they do want to give away their money, they want to decide where it's going. [01:23:52] 100% sure. [01:23:53] You said something interesting where you wanted to create a Bitcoin hub. [01:23:59] Yes, out of Miami. [01:24:00] We're crypto cowboys. [01:24:01] I don't know if you know that. [01:24:03] So when you said you wanted a crypto hub, I was all on board. [01:24:06] I also don't know what that means. [01:24:07] Yeah. [01:24:08] What does that mean? [01:24:08] A crypto hub. [01:24:09] Can I pay for lap dances at 11 with Bitcoin? [01:24:12] You don't do that. [01:24:13] Right now? [01:24:14] Pay with like right now? [01:24:17] I have to plead the fifth. [01:24:22] So what I will say is, you know, look, we want to be on the cutting edge of tomorrow's technology. [01:24:30] And, you know, when you, when you talk about tech, which is a bigger and bigger part of our world, of our life, right? [01:24:37] Everything that we have is tech-based. [01:24:38] Just the fact that we're doing this podcast right now using a variety of technologies just gets more and more tech focused. [01:24:46] Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies and blockchain are a huge component of the next generation of tech, in my opinion, my humble opinion. [01:24:52] I was on the blockchain task force and the blockchain foundation way before I tweeted out how can I help. [01:24:58] And so I've been following and tracking this technology for a long time. [01:25:02] And I just felt like it was a very easy win for Miami to come out and say, hey, we're going to be on the forefront of this new technology. [01:25:08] And we're going to invite people like yourselves to come here and feel welcome and be able to innovate in a city like ours. [01:25:14] And what better way to do that than in a space where there's a huge interest, where it's extremely positive, where people are very bullish and excited about it, and where it's trying to become mainstream. [01:25:24] So I wanted to be part of that wave and I wanted to be in early. [01:25:28] And that's why we did what we did. [01:25:32] We've seen a trend where the most successful modern cities have a combination of two things, tech and gays. [01:25:40] You got tech coming in. [01:25:42] How do we bring the gays? [01:25:45] Oh, Miami has a tremendously large population of diverse population of all kinds of people, not just, you know, people that are LGBTQ. [01:25:57] I said, not just us. [01:25:58] Just LGBTQ. [01:25:59] Yeah, not just I. [01:26:01] No, we have a, we have a very robust LGBTQ community. [01:26:03] It's part of who we are. [01:26:05] It's part of our identity. [01:26:07] And it's not just that. [01:26:08] We have a tremendous amount of diversity from Caribbean nations, African nations, Latin America, South America. [01:26:16] I mean, it's Europe. [01:26:18] It's really an incredibly cosmopolitan city. [01:26:21] Now, one question off of what you guys are just talking about, making this a tech hub, moving Silicon Valley to Miami. [01:26:27] Silicon Valley money is great. [01:26:28] Silicon Valley people, their culture is trash and they tend to ruin the cities they go to. [01:26:34] San Francisco sucks now. [01:26:35] Austin's going to get ruined. [01:26:37] How does Miami keep its culture while allowing in tech money, tech jobs, tech business? [01:26:43] Well, I think it's a variety of ways. [01:26:45] First is you hope that the people that are coming are kind of traumatized, like we were traumatized when we left Cuba, you know, in terms of you wouldn't want to perpetuate the same policies and the same quality of life issue that you left from, right? [01:26:55] The whole idea is if you left something, you don't want to replicate it where you're going, right? [01:27:00] You want to go to something better and different. [01:27:02] So we're hoping that as people come, like when they came from Cuba, that they wanted to create a more perfect city. [01:27:07] And that's what we've been focused on trying to do for decades. [01:27:10] I think the second part is we as a community have to reestablish our identity and talk about who we are and why it's important for them to know who we are and to integrate into Miami as we know it. [01:27:22] And so I think that's, and the beauty of Miami is 70% of the people from Miami were not born in Miami. [01:27:28] I'm one of the few that was actually born here. [01:27:29] I'm the first mayor of Miami in 125-year history of the city. [01:27:32] I was born in the city. [01:27:33] So, yes, sir. [01:27:35] So, you know, I mean, that's pretty cool. [01:27:37] But, but, but yeah, it's, it's, it is not unusual for us. [01:27:41] We're an immigrant sort of a city. [01:27:43] It's not unusual for us to have people from outside coming in. [01:27:47] It's not like a weird thing for us. [01:27:49] There's a, I've been speaking to people in Florida, right? [01:27:53] And people who work service jobs, people who worked the specific jobs that were, you know, not allowed to work in New York, for example. [01:28:02] And they spoke about the politicians in Florida with this amazing gratitude. [01:28:10] I've never heard people speak about politicians with gratitude ever in my life, but they were so grateful that they could go to work. [01:28:17] They were so grateful that they could literally serve food at a restaurant and be able to like feed their family, right? [01:28:23] And I'm curious about the decision that you guys made to keep things open. [01:28:28] That was risky. [01:28:30] I mean, you're kind of rolling the dice. [01:28:32] Was there any trepidation? [01:28:33] Were you ever like, if we get this wrong, it's it for us? [01:28:37] Yeah. [01:28:38] Well, first of all, it's a huge, humbling and honoring, honorable experience to be sitting at a restaurant and have one of the servers, waiters, waitresses come up to you and tell you, Mr. Mayor, thank you so much. [01:28:52] I'm here because of you. [01:28:53] I'm so grateful. [01:28:55] I'm able to provide for my family. [01:28:57] And I think part of the problem with the conversation on COVID was there was a variety of false scenarios. [01:29:02] One of the false narratives was you either care about protecting people's lives or you don't care about protecting people. [01:29:08] Yeah. [01:29:09] Right. [01:29:09] So you only had two choices. [01:29:11] You can only be put into one of two boxes. [01:29:13] You either cared about people's lives, in which case I'd do all these things, right? [01:29:16] Close all these things, do all these things, or you don't care about people's lives. [01:29:20] And that's not the way I looked at it. [01:29:21] And when I would be in these conversations with the epidemiologists, whether they be national or local, I would tell them, wait a second, here's the way I look at it. [01:29:27] There's human suffering on this end with COVID, and then there's human suffering on this end economically with the shutdowns and all these and all these things. [01:29:35] So you cannot create a false equivalency where this one is greater than this one. [01:29:40] No, no, no. [01:29:40] They're both equally bad, right? [01:29:43] There's no good choice. [01:29:44] So what we have to do is we have to protect as many people as we can without harming as many people as we can, right? [01:29:50] On this ledger. [01:29:51] And I think, you know, sometimes the doctors, the epidemiologists, and even the press didn't want to hear it because it didn't fit their preconceived narrative or they didn't want to, you know, they wanted to get into that box. [01:30:01] But, you know, that's what our job is. [01:30:03] Our job is to be a representative of the people, right? [01:30:06] It's to figure out what's best for everybody. [01:30:09] And that means sometimes making hard choices that maybe not seem popular or not well received by the press at a particular moment, but upon reflection end up being the right thing to do. [01:30:18] Yeah, it was baffling to me when I would see the numbers come in and the New York numbers and then Florida numbers were marginally different with extremely different policies. [01:30:29] And it was baffling that New York just wouldn't open it up. [01:30:34] Yeah, I mean, I don't know what to say about that. [01:30:36] I mean, they, you know, again, I think that wasn't just New York. [01:30:40] I mean, and part of the reason why people were coming, part of the reason was we're open, right? [01:30:44] A big part of it was because we were open. [01:30:46] So people were coming because we were open. [01:30:47] People were coming because of remote work. [01:30:49] So they could actually work from Miami and not suffer any sort of economic risk from leaving the place that they were at. [01:30:58] And part of it was just the taxation, the weather. [01:31:00] I mean, it was just everything. [01:31:01] The way I look at it is people ask me, well, what made this happen? [01:31:04] I said, well, look, it's a lot of things that made it happen. [01:31:07] Everything I saw that went on the camel's back that ultimately made this moment happen. [01:31:11] The real reason we're here is Andrew ate a meal in the cold in New York. [01:31:14] And dead serious, I don't know what he told you. [01:31:16] He flattered you, but he actually ate a meal and his hands got cold. [01:31:19] And he said, we're coming to Florida. [01:31:21] I can tell you the exact moment I was eating a meal and a gust of wind went up under my Northface jacket. [01:31:26] And in that moment, I sent a text to the group and I go, We're moving your families to Florida. [01:31:33] I'm done. [01:31:34] I love it. [01:31:35] I have a question based on what you're doing. [01:31:37] The cold can do that to you, man. [01:31:39] You wouldn't know. [01:31:40] You'd know nothing about the cold. [01:31:44] I don't want to know, my friend. [01:31:45] I want nothing to do with that. [01:31:47] Dude, we're taking you to New York. [01:31:49] You see back here? [01:31:50] This is not a virtual background. [01:31:52] Okay. [01:31:52] Oh, my goodness. [01:31:54] I'm on a flex. [01:31:55] Neither is this. [01:31:57] Okay. [01:31:59] I have a question based on what y'all were talking about. [01:32:01] New York mishandled the pandemic. [01:32:03] I think California completely mishandled the pandemic. [01:32:06] You're trying to take San Francisco's business. [01:32:08] You could also take Hollywood's business. [01:32:10] To me, there's no reason Miami can't be the next Hollywood. [01:32:13] You got good looking people. [01:32:14] You got great weather. [01:32:15] Everything LA has less taxes. [01:32:17] What would you be interested in bringing that here? [01:32:19] And what would you do for studios or whatever? [01:32:22] I would. [01:32:22] And I'm not a huge guy into subsidies, but I do think that there's a room for us to have film subsidies that are at least equivalent to, if not a little bit better than what the market is. [01:32:31] Because like you said, I think we are a natural destination, but no one is going to make a movie that's going to cost them an extra $10, $15 million somewhere else. [01:32:41] So what we've learned is we have to compete on that level. [01:32:45] And I'm not sure right now, our legislature wants to do that. [01:32:48] But if they did, I would be 100% supportive of it. [01:32:51] We lost a lot to Georgia, a tremendous amount to Georgia in terms of filming. [01:32:56] And listen, I like Atlanta. [01:32:58] I like Keisha. [01:32:59] She's my friend. [01:33:00] But you can't compare Atlanta or Miami. [01:33:03] Let's go. [01:33:05] Let's go. [01:33:06] Well, listen, we know we don't have all your time. [01:33:08] So I want to do a little lightning round with you. [01:33:09] We always do. [01:33:10] Go. [01:33:11] What is that? [01:33:11] Some construction? [01:33:12] What are you building back there? [01:33:14] Weather. [01:33:14] That's all. [01:33:17] All right, ready? [01:33:18] Lightning round. [01:33:19] You are a hero in Miami. [01:33:21] Okay. [01:33:21] You won your election with 86% of the vote. [01:33:25] That is like Middle Eastern dictator levels right there. [01:33:29] Okay. [01:33:30] So my question to you is: can you get me a reservation at Carbone for four people on Monday? [01:33:35] Yes, no doubt. [01:33:37] We're staying, boys. [01:33:39] We're staying in Miami. [01:33:41] Okay. [01:33:41] Two. [01:33:42] When you were the commissioner of District 4, you want to be connected to the people. [01:33:48] You gave out your personal cell phone number to the citizens of that district so that they could contact you at any time. [01:33:55] Approximately, how many dick pic did you receive? [01:34:04] Is that the size of what you were getting or is that the number? [01:34:09] Actually, now that I think about it, District 4 stands for inches. [01:34:14] Okay. [01:34:15] You are a proud Cuban American. [01:34:18] Do you still live with your parents? [01:34:22] I'm married with two children. [01:34:24] If I live with my parents, I'd have some major issues. [01:34:26] No, I don't. [01:34:27] Okay. [01:34:27] Do you live with your wife's parents? [01:34:32] I'm not going to even go there. [01:34:34] No, I do not live with them, but I'm not going to go there. [01:34:38] Okay. [01:34:39] All right. [01:34:40] I'm very happy married. [01:34:41] 14 years. [01:34:43] Okay. [01:34:43] My last and final question. [01:34:46] Miami is truly amazing. [01:34:48] We absolutely love it here. [01:34:49] We extended the amount of time that we were going to be here because we love it so much. [01:34:53] But why is South Beach the worst place on earth? [01:35:00] Because we had all of America's tourists at the same moment. [01:35:05] You can just say New Yorkers. [01:35:06] It's fine. [01:35:08] Yeah, yeah, yeah. [01:35:08] It was insane. [01:35:12] Everybody that all the things that you saw, we had $50 flights, $50 hotels. [01:35:16] It was the only place open in America, and everybody had the week off. [01:35:20] Yeah. [01:35:22] It was a recipe for disaster. [01:35:24] So, what you say is we need a stagger out spring break. [01:35:27] And thankfully, I'm not the mayor of Miami Beach. [01:35:31] That's right. [01:35:33] Yet. [01:35:34] Okay? [01:35:35] We're working on it. [01:35:36] We're going to try to get you up to New York, to be honest with you. [01:35:38] With those dictator numbers, you know, I can run for anything. [01:35:43] Francis, thank you so much. [01:35:44] We appreciate you. [01:35:45] Before you go, we've enjoyed our time here. [01:35:47] How can we help you? [01:35:49] We have a pretty big platform. [01:35:51] We want to know what we can do to help you because you've done an amazing job with your city. [01:35:56] Well, thank you. [01:35:57] First of all, keep telling the Miami story. [01:35:59] That's the most important thing. [01:36:00] If you don't tell your story, somebody else is going to tell it. [01:36:02] You're not going to like their version. [01:36:03] Please boost my social media at Francis Suarez on Twitter, at mayor of Miami, and at Miami Mayor, depending on whether it's Instagram or Twitter. [01:36:12] So check me out. [01:36:13] Follow me on those because that gives me a broader platform and a broader voice to be able to express what I think is this incredible, incredible generational moment, this tectonic shift in the way that our world is going to work and the way people are going to live and where they're going to choose to live. [01:36:29] And I think we're going to come out on top of that, of that discussion. [01:36:32] Well, we're excited. [01:36:33] We support you. [01:36:34] And yeah, man, I look forward to the rest of your career. [01:36:37] If there's anything you need help with, you let us know. [01:36:39] All right, my man. [01:36:40] Yep. [01:36:40] Thank you. [01:36:41] A lot of fun. [01:36:42] Thank you so much. [01:36:42] Thank you. [01:36:42] God bless. [01:36:43] All right, guys. [01:36:44] That was Mayor Suarez. [01:36:45] Yo, go shout him out on Twitter. [01:36:48] Shout him out on Instagram. [01:36:49] Show him a lot of love. [01:36:50] If you appreciate that he's kept Miami open and you appreciate that he's made it so these doors have been open to us and we've come down here. [01:36:58] Go shout him out, man. [01:37:00] Because it does take balls to do what he's doing. [01:37:03] So there's a lot of politicians that are airing on a decide of caution and they just shut everything down because they're worried about their political careers. [01:37:10] And these motherfuckers took a risk and it is paying the hell off. [01:37:13] So we appreciate it. [01:37:14] So go give them a shout out right now. [01:37:15] What is his social rate? [01:37:16] He's a Mayor Suarez or something like that. [01:37:18] No, he goes under the government accounts of mayor of Miami. [01:37:22] So go on Instagram. [01:37:23] He's great on Instagram. [01:37:24] You'll see. [01:37:25] He really is a man of the people. [01:37:27] Is that all these events and definitely isn't the mayor of South Beach. === Mayor Yang Controversy (06:03) === [01:37:30] So yeah, he don't fuck with Speaker. [01:37:31] He got out of the house. [01:37:32] He did say go to the beach, though. [01:37:33] Yeah, yeah. [01:37:38] I love the heavies reference. [01:37:40] Throw it in there. [01:37:41] Throw it in there. [01:37:42] Well done. [01:37:43] Anyway, yo, so thank you so much to the mayor. [01:37:44] We really appreciate it. [01:37:46] Appreciate it. [01:37:46] Appreciate it. [01:37:48] And yeah, we're ready for him to become governor and then president one day. [01:37:50] And then that's our guy. [01:37:52] You know why he's my guy? [01:37:53] Remember when he was just like, why is God be one or the other? [01:37:54] Why you got to shut down or not care about human lives? [01:37:57] Yeah. [01:37:57] That was when I was like, this guy's great. [01:37:59] Exactly. [01:37:59] He agreed that AOC had the heavies. [01:38:01] And he did agree, right? [01:38:02] He did agree. [01:38:03] And he's a crypto cow. [01:38:04] I don't know if he agreed. [01:38:05] I don't even know if he knew what the heavies were. [01:38:07] No, but he knew. [01:38:08] But do you think he did? [01:38:10] He knew. [01:38:10] Dove doesn't think he did. [01:38:11] He's trying to maintain a relationship. [01:38:12] Good job, Duff. [01:38:13] Trying to get invited to the White House. [01:38:15] Hey, guys. [01:38:17] Did you see what the mayor of New York has been up to recently? [01:38:20] No. [01:38:20] Yo, you see that thing of Yang when the dude asked him, he's like, can you choke a bitch with your Tim's during sex? [01:38:26] Wait, what? [01:38:27] Wait, you haven't seen this video? [01:38:28] No, no. [01:38:29] I saw him get kicked out of that rally. [01:38:30] He was at a Black Lives Matter rally and they moved him. [01:38:33] Bro, I'm tired of these motherfuckers. [01:38:36] Yo, why? [01:38:37] Because he wouldn't let them get their fifth house, this motherfucker. [01:38:40] Wait a minute. [01:38:41] Hold up. [01:38:41] There's so many things going on. [01:38:43] Andrew Yang, first of all, get this video up. [01:38:46] It's this dude is asking him. [01:38:48] I think Charlotte posted on his Instagram. [01:38:50] But the dude asked him, Yo, is it okay to keep your Tim's on when you're like choking a bitch during sex or something like that? [01:38:56] And he answered the question super diplomatically. [01:38:59] I think it was brilliant. [01:39:00] Like he goes, I think that's between you and the girl. [01:39:04] I think that if she's cool with it, that's fine. [01:39:06] And then the guy kept on going and he laughed. [01:39:09] And of course, the people who do not want Andrew Yang to be mayor latched onto that shit. [01:39:13] They're like, mayoral candidate Andrew Yang is laughing at misogynistic humor. [01:39:19] Oh, hey, bro. [01:39:21] Some people make a living doing that. [01:39:23] And there's nothing wrong with it, and it can provide a nice lifestyle. [01:39:26] Do you have that video about? [01:39:28] All right, here it is. [01:39:30] The realest question that's ever been asked to a mayoral candidate of New York. [01:39:34] Can a man keep his Tim though? [01:39:38] He's fucking boosted because he can't keep his Tim's on. [01:39:40] Oh, my. [01:39:40] I mean, I really. [01:39:41] Oh, Lord. [01:39:44] I'm in disbelief. [01:39:45] I think it's purely up to your partner, right? [01:39:47] I mean, if your partner is saying, I love Andrew Yang. [01:39:52] You told bitches wrong. [01:40:00] Can a man. [01:40:01] All right. [01:40:02] Did he hit him with the he goes? [01:40:06] He goes, Can a man keep his Tim's on while he's? [01:40:08] And I think, and then Andrew Yang diplomatically goes, I, and first of all, I'm annoyed with Andrew Yang because him and his publicists refuse to come on Flagrant 2 podcasts. [01:40:18] They're not as brave as we've been Yang Gang out. [01:40:21] We were Yang Gang. [01:40:22] Be loyal, yo. [01:40:24] Actually, I've never been Yang Gang. [01:40:25] I'm Yang Gang, bro. [01:40:26] I don't believe in that. [01:40:27] Give people money and then they vote for your shit. [01:40:30] Give me money. [01:40:31] I ain't voting otherwise. [01:40:32] Say again. [01:40:33] I ain't voting otherwise. [01:40:34] You might as well pay me. [01:40:35] All right, fair. [01:40:35] No, he's coming on. [01:40:36] So we were trying to get him on, but he's been ducking, and there's no way he's going to do a flagrant interview after this shit. [01:40:41] That's fucking done. [01:40:42] So the guy goes, well, you guys heard it. [01:40:45] What do you guys think? [01:40:46] I thought he handled it brilliantly. [01:40:47] It's purely up to your partner. [01:40:48] That's perfect. [01:40:48] Alliteration. [01:40:49] The next one is when he goes, you choke bitches? [01:40:51] He goes, you choke bitches? [01:40:52] And he just starts laughing and moving away. [01:40:53] How do you not laugh at that? [01:40:54] That's a hysterical thing to ask a future fucking mayor potentially. [01:40:58] What is he supposed to do? [01:41:00] Hey, yo, I don't think that's an appropriate question. [01:41:02] Fuck you if you do that. [01:41:03] Yeah. [01:41:04] Then fuck him. [01:41:04] No, if I'm him, I would just say I wouldn't use that word. [01:41:07] I don't call women the B-word or something if I'm him. [01:41:10] Right? [01:41:10] Like, that's, I think, where people are getting pissed. [01:41:12] Well, it depends who you're choking, bro. [01:41:14] Maybe his wife. [01:41:15] I don't know how that girl identifies. [01:41:16] No, it's not. [01:41:17] She sees herself as a bitch. [01:41:19] That's my point. [01:41:20] What is it? [01:41:21] Like, if the issue I think people are taking with this, they're like, oh, a mayor can't be talking about bitches. [01:41:27] So he just has to say, yeah, you can choke whoever if they're consensual, blah, blah, blah. [01:41:30] Just I wouldn't use that word. [01:41:32] That's all I got to say, right? [01:41:33] You sound like a liberal cuck. [01:41:36] It's one thing if he came to the mayor's mansion. [01:41:38] No, he's going into the streets with people. [01:41:40] There's going to be different people talking about different things. [01:41:43] And he went on this guy's street. [01:41:45] This is a young comic of African-American. [01:41:47] Gosh, me, how do I cast? [01:41:51] He was on his block. [01:41:53] This guy's trying to make a living, yo. [01:41:54] Fucking bagel bite, dude. [01:41:56] And he was on this gentleman's. [01:41:57] My deli is right behind there. [01:41:59] This gentleman's street. [01:42:00] He was on this gentleman's street, which we own all the buildings. [01:42:02] And charge an exorbitant amount of rent. [01:42:06] Quite frankly, he can't afford it. [01:42:07] He had a place to do it. [01:42:08] Yeah, he's on the street for now until people move in and kick him out. [01:42:10] But, you know. [01:42:12] I don't know. [01:42:13] I think it's just so corny to like smear Yang based on this. [01:42:16] I think that's whack. [01:42:18] Why are they trying to get Yang so hard? [01:42:19] Why do liberals hate Yang? [01:42:21] Ooh. [01:42:22] Maybe because Yang represents, and I never thought about this. [01:42:26] I never thought of him as this before, but maybe because Yang represents the kind of Bernie clan in a way. [01:42:32] Like he's like, yeah, let's give universal basic income. [01:42:34] Let's just give fucking money away. [01:42:36] And maybe the Democrats that are kind of like fake Democrats, like the Biden Democrats, they're not really Democrats, like socially Democrat about some shit, but they're like, let's just go to war. [01:42:45] Those Democrats, the Kamalas and stuff, like, maybe they're like, yo, yo, we don't need the AOC stuff. [01:42:52] We don't need any of that, like what they view as democratic socialism creeping in. [01:42:57] I've also seen the other side on Twitter criticizing him. [01:43:00] He made that video on a bodega, and everybody's like, you don't even, that's not even a real bodega. [01:43:04] He doesn't know what a bodega is. [01:43:06] Shut the fuck up, dude. [01:43:08] You fucking loser. [01:43:09] He's trying to say support independent business. [01:43:11] And then he had a tweet series saying, like, I don't want unlicensed vendors in New York City selling stuff on the streets. [01:43:17] Want to try to help them get licenses, and then the same super far-elect people were like, He's trying to cut off people trying to make a living, income, blah, blah, blah. [01:43:24] It's like, Doug, he's you didn't even read the second tweet. [01:43:26] He's not liberal with universal basic income because he's saying it from the point of view as a pragmatist. [01:43:31] He's a he worked in technology. === Bodega Politics Debate (05:54) === [01:43:33] That's it. [01:43:33] So, everyone else is like, No, it's a socialist idea, a redistribution of wealth, all of this. [01:43:38] He's just like, This is how you plug the leak. [01:43:40] This is how we can get back and make things more fair. [01:43:43] But I think just as a pragmatist, let's not analyze him as anyone that is standing behind a super set of liberal items. [01:43:50] That's why I love him. [01:43:50] He's a robot, dog. [01:43:52] Yeah, and he knows robots are going to take our jobs. [01:43:53] And he's like, You got to do something in the meantime. [01:43:55] Here's a little money to hold us over. [01:43:56] This is what it's going to be. [01:43:57] Al I'm for Ray McGuire. [01:44:01] You like Ray? [01:44:02] He literally just looked up the black guy's name. [01:44:04] He's not here. [01:44:05] That's Eric Adams. [01:44:06] Eric Adams is the black guy. [01:44:07] Ray McGuire, you're not voting for the black guy out. [01:44:09] Do you want to know what he did? [01:44:10] You want to know what he did, Google? [01:44:12] Yo, Eric Adams or Ray McGuire? [01:44:14] Right? [01:44:14] He Googled Jay-Z endorsement of New York. [01:44:19] I couldn't remember his name, but I know Jay-Z endorse. [01:48:54] It wasn't a lot of competition when they put that book out. [01:48:56] I'll tell you that much. [01:48:57] That shit is long, B. [01:48:59] But, but yeah, so that was really cool. [01:49:33] What do you like about Ray McGuire? [01:49:34] Jay-Z supporting him. [01:49:35] Why do you think Jay's supporting him? [01:49:37] I don't know. [01:49:38] We've been out of New York so long, I don't know what's going on. [01:49:40] He's not in New York no more. [01:49:41] I'm not paying attention. [01:49:42] Second place is Eric Adams, and these are the Democratic primaries. [01:49:46] And whoever wins the primary in June is going to win. [01:49:49] I love Eric Adams, though. [01:49:51] Yeah. [01:49:51] I love that man. [01:49:52] Wait, why do you love him? [01:49:53] Because he's strong. [01:49:54] Yeah. [01:49:55] He's strict. [01:49:56] He wears his Tim's? [01:49:57] Nah. [01:49:59] He doesn't believe in Tim's. [01:50:00] Wait, really? [01:50:01] He won't even let his kids have Tim's, bro. [01:50:03] He showed you how to go around your kids' room and find if they got Tim's. [01:50:06] That's really crazy. [01:50:07] He's not getting elected. [01:50:08] You don't think he's getting elected? [01:50:09] I got to go on to the top, and we're going to make it happen. [01:50:11] If he doesn't support Tim's, I don't know if he can. [01:50:13] If you don't support this podcast, you can't be mayor of New York. [01:50:15] So let's hit up Ray. [01:50:17] I'll hit up Ray. [01:50:18] I'll hit up Eric. [01:50:20] Yo, like I said, my vote could be $1,000 a day, motherfucker's name again. [01:50:24] Andrew Yang? [01:50:25] Yeah. [01:50:25] $1,000 a day. [01:50:27] Whatever his name is. [01:50:28] Give the money, bro. [01:50:29] He's treating us all like we're starving kids in Africa, bro. [01:50:31] What is this? [01:50:33] Why is he doing that to us? [01:50:35] Yeah. [01:50:36] Like, why? [01:50:36] Don't treat us like that, bro. [01:50:38] Is that who we are to you? [01:50:39] In the hearts of an ancient. [01:50:39] $1,000 a day sounds pretty nice. [01:50:41] That's kind of lit. [01:50:43] That's kind of lit. [01:50:44] I mean, if he read on that, that's a good policy. [01:50:47] Yeah, I switched that up. [01:50:48] But I don't want $1,000 a day if everybody else got that. [01:50:51] I wanted just me so I could stunt. [01:50:54] Right? [01:50:54] How am I supposed to stunt if everybody got the same shit? [01:50:57] That's a good point. [01:50:57] Then they're going to go all to all the restaurants. [01:50:59] Oh, fuck. [01:51:00] Then I can't. [01:51:01] Damn. [01:51:02] What? [01:51:03] Let me tell you, sounds coming back, baby. [01:51:04] By the way, no, I'm ready for New York. [01:51:06] And I do feel New York's going to be back. [01:51:07] And Miami's starting to get hot. [01:51:10] And I almost, I caught a heat stroke. [01:51:12] I was working outside. [01:51:13] I was working out outside. [01:51:15] I almost caught a heat stroke, bro. [01:51:17] Y'all ever had heat stroke? [01:51:18] It's crazy. [01:51:19] I was no, dude. [01:51:20] I almost caught a heat stroke. [01:51:22] Which one is the Jewish person here? [01:51:23] I almost got a heat stroke, bro. [01:51:25] I literally was, I was working out, and that fucking strokey heat caught me, bro. [01:51:28] You start getting strokes? [01:51:30] Done. [01:51:30] I literally almost got a heat stroke, bro. [01:51:33] I was doing the pads, and then I literally took one hand. [01:51:36] I went, oh, I put my pad up on my forehead like that. [01:51:40] And the heat stroke got me, dude. [01:51:42] While the Jewish guy was inside in the AC, that's how you know he's pleasant. [01:51:46] Yeah, I was out there, dog. [01:51:47] I was out there hitting them pads, bro. [01:51:49] Because someone needs to check Jake. [01:51:52] Someone needs it. [01:51:52] It ain't gonna be me, but someone needs to check Jake. [01:51:55] I think you could do it. [01:51:56] Nah, Jake, Jake, Jake. [01:51:57] I get knocked out for Jake, but for 50 million. [01:52:00] Yo, 50 million? [01:52:01] Sir? [01:52:01] Guaranteed? [01:52:03] Let's go. [01:52:03] We're dancing. [01:52:05] We dancing. [01:52:07] That would be a fun. [01:52:08] Trading to the gym, put on low weight. [01:52:09] You could take this. [01:52:10] Training for 17 years. [01:52:11] This is. [01:52:12] My ankles don't even work no more, bro. [01:52:13] Nah, you can take it. [01:52:14] Now, Jake, a big boy. [01:52:15] When we saw him, I was like, this motherfucker is big. [01:52:17] Logan is bigger. [01:52:19] Yeah. [01:52:20] Logan is like taller, but Jake, I was like, oh, he, for his height, is a big dude. [01:52:24] Yeah. [01:52:25] So, are you over Miami or what? [01:52:27] No. [01:52:27] You're getting a heat stroke down. [01:52:28] I time this perfectly, right? [01:52:30] I started getting heat stroke end of April. [01:52:32] Yeah. [01:52:33] If we left May 1st and went back, I'd be like, man, I still miss Miami. [01:52:38] Yeah, you want a little stroke. [01:52:39] I want to be ready to go back. [01:52:41] I want it to be like mid-May. [01:52:42] We're like, nah, we're ready for New York. [01:52:44] Boom. [01:52:45] Yeah. [01:52:46] Yes. [01:52:46] You see, me? [02:00:00] You're our vision. [02:00:00] That's our North Star. [02:00:02] Bitches in the Waldorf. [02:00:05] It's Let's Waldorf. [02:00:09] Bitches in the Waldorf. [02:00:11] I keep telling people, people, like, yo, what y'all doing tonight? [02:00:14] What are we doing tonight, Al? [02:00:17] What's going down tonight, Al? [02:00:19] I think we might have some bitches in the Waldo. [02:00:21] Now, you know, you got to hit it. [02:00:22] So why you say it's so mean? [02:00:23] Yo, yo, strength. [02:00:24] RIP, Black Rob, how would Black Rob say it for Mexico? [02:00:27] Give me the DMs. [02:00:28] Yeah, How does he talk? [02:00:32] Yeah. [02:00:32] I'll be that Rob Marciano. [02:00:34] Yeah, yeah. [02:00:36] I got bitches in the Waldorf. [02:00:38] Bitches in the Waldorf. [02:00:41] I felt that in my loins. [02:00:43] Riding on the tall horse. [02:00:45] Oh, the Trojan. [02:00:46] Yeah. [02:00:47] Uh-huh. [02:00:48] Uh. [02:00:50] Lead sperm on abdomens. [02:00:52] Only chicks and no guys. [02:00:54] Never guys. [02:00:55] Yeah, that's great. [02:00:55] Not even maybe one time we made a mistake, but it's fine. [02:00:59] Yeah, only girls and straight porn. [02:01:03] What about this rap, bro? === Champions League Money Talk (16:12) === [02:01:04] I want to talk about some soccer bullshit, right? [02:01:06] This is the biggest story in the world. [02:01:09] Take it away. [02:01:10] Biggest story in the world. [02:01:14] We're coming in with bitches in the wall. [02:01:16] That's just the fuck up, bro. [02:01:18] Yo, son. [02:01:19] You can't say that that bar don't hit you. [02:01:22] That needs to hit, yo. [02:01:23] That's a bar. [02:01:24] I wish he chose a different hotel, to be honest. [02:01:27] Nah, because Waldorf hits, it hits. [02:01:30] It's just going well rhymes with it. [02:01:31] And now you can say, we're bringing Ronaldo and Neymar and Messi to the Waldorf. [02:01:37] Waldorf. [02:01:38] Nah, keep them pretty motherfucking Waldorf. [02:01:41] Keep them away from our bitches at the Waldorf. [02:01:42] They don't have a Waldorf in Miami yet, I don't think. [02:01:44] Fuck. [02:01:45] Nah, they're building one, though. [02:01:46] I know this. [02:01:48] Yo, this pineapple shit is so cool. [02:01:49] Can I have some? [02:01:50] Yeah, how come you're the only one that's light up behind me? [02:01:52] All right. [02:01:52] Soccer. [02:01:54] All right. [02:01:55] Hold on. [02:01:56] We have to recenter ourselves here. [02:01:57] Yeah. [02:01:58] Something's happening in soccer. [02:02:00] You know what we fucking care about. [02:02:02] Any soccer fans right now are about to be so pissed at this conversation. [02:02:06] Shut the fuck up, soccer fans. [02:02:08] Mark came through dressed for the occasion. [02:02:10] Motherfucker is so ready to talk about soccer. [02:02:13] This is my shit rule. [02:02:14] Mark, break down what's happening in soccer, and we're going to act like we care. [02:02:19] Let's call it football for the rest. [02:02:20] No, no, no. [02:02:22] I like those energies. [02:02:22] We're about to call it football. [02:02:24] Only real sports are football. [02:02:25] Go. [02:02:25] All right. [02:02:26] Only real sports are football. [02:02:30] Only real sports are football. [02:02:32] It's only that one. [02:02:33] That's it. [02:02:34] Yo, bitches in the wall, dog. [02:02:36] Playing football. [02:02:37] Yo, that changed the whole energy of this podcast. [02:02:39] It really did. [02:02:40] Wow. [02:02:40] All right. [02:02:41] So basically, in Europe, you got, I mean, just how long do you think Ian Roseman? [02:02:46] I mean, I don't even care. [02:02:48] Stop listening. [02:02:49] Go, go, go. [02:02:50] Number one story in the world, dude. [02:02:51] Number one story. [02:02:52] Dude, get to it. [02:02:52] All right. [02:02:53] So basically, you have in Europe, you have the national leagues where they play. [02:02:56] That's like Premier League, La Liga, Syria, that kind of thing. [02:03:00] You have Spain, you have England, you have France, you have Italy. [02:03:03] It has their own league. [02:03:04] And then you have a continental tournament or a continental league. [02:03:07] It's called the Champions League. [02:03:08] And basically, all the best teams in every league, the top four teams from every league, will all play each other in a cross-national showdown. [02:03:15] It's called the Champions League. [02:03:18] And it's like the greatest, arguably the greatest sporting leagues, like sporting event outside of the World Cup in the whole world. [02:03:24] Better than any other, any other sport. [02:03:26] Every year? [02:03:27] Every year. [02:03:28] More than any other sport. [02:03:28] More people watch than any sport ever. [02:03:30] I don't believe that. [02:03:31] That's true. [02:03:31] Religion. [02:03:32] The best. [02:03:33] Formula One is more. [02:03:34] More people watch Jake Paul in there. [02:03:38] Champions League got to get Triller, I think. [02:03:40] But basically, what happened is all the teams that were making the most money. [02:03:44] So it's like Liverpool, Tottenham in England, Arsenal, another team in England, Manchester United, Barcelona, Madrid, and then in Italy is Juventus, Inter Milan, AC Milan. [02:03:57] Basically, all of them were like, yo, we're going to form a super league. [02:03:59] Fuck the Champions League. [02:04:00] We're going to make our own money. [02:04:01] We're going to stream our own. [02:04:03] What about Germany? [02:04:04] None of the Germans. [02:04:05] None of the French teams went with it. [02:04:06] That's the problem. [02:04:08] That's the rift. [02:04:08] That's part of the drama. [02:04:09] So basically, they said, look, we're going to make our own league because no one gives a fuck about these other smaller teams. [02:04:13] They're not paying to watch them play. [02:04:14] They're playing to watch us play. [02:04:15] So we're going to do our own league where we're going to make all of our own money. [02:04:18] We're going to stream our own games. [02:04:19] And instead of us playing each other every now and again, or maybe risking that we don't make it because we lose to some lower team and we lose out on $200 million to go to the championship. [02:04:28] We lose in the group stage to some random team. [02:04:30] That's what? [02:04:31] We can't risk it. [02:04:31] So we're going to start our own league, make our own money. [02:04:34] We're going to play our games wherever the fucking highest bidder is going to pay us. [02:04:37] And we're going to make all of our own shit. [02:04:38] A lot of these teams also, it's important to note in England are owned by American owners. [02:04:43] Oh, yeah. [02:04:43] Like LeBron owns one of them shits. [02:04:45] Yeah, he's like a part owner of Liverpool. [02:04:47] Or Liverpool. [02:04:47] And like, what is his name? [02:04:49] John Henry is the Red Sox owner, also owns Liverpool. [02:04:53] The vice chairman of the Super League is like Cronky, who owns like Dodgers. [02:04:57] Yeah, LA Royal. [02:04:58] So he's part of this new league. [02:04:59] It's like a Spanish chairman and then three Americans where you're like, too many Americans on this board. [02:05:05] And this dude knows. [02:05:07] The guy that owns the holding company that owns the Buccaneers owns Man United. [02:05:11] So it's like, basically, these billionaires are like, yo, fuck the league, fuck the tradition of soccer, fuck all that shit. [02:05:17] We're going to make our own money, stream our own games, and fuck the fans, whatever. [02:05:21] We're going to do it however we want to do it. [02:05:23] So it's kind of like basically like a mutiny or like taking over the whole tradition of European soccer by billionaires. [02:05:28] That's the short version. [02:05:29] You're the only real soccer fan here. [02:05:32] Tell me what's good about this, what's bad about it. [02:05:36] I mean, what's good about it from like the position of the clubs is that they're able to then control, because basically like soccer blows up in Korea, for example, because of Manchester United signs this Korean player and it blows up. [02:05:49] This is a few years ago, Park G Young or something. [02:05:52] Well, I mean, probably I can. [02:05:54] But basically. [02:05:55] That's the easiest park. [02:05:57] Yeah, yeah. [02:05:57] It blows up in Korea. [02:05:59] And Manchester United is like, that isn't it. [02:06:01] That's the first name. [02:06:02] Yeah. [02:06:03] He just said it. [02:06:04] He's like, oh, yeah. [02:06:05] So, for example, you said that shit like he didn't say it. [02:06:08] Parkinson's name. [02:06:10] He said it with the energy of, I'm correcting you. [02:06:12] Park, Park. [02:06:13] I accepted that. [02:06:14] Why did I accept that shit? [02:06:15] I was like, oh, excuse me. [02:06:15] Yeah, excuse me. [02:06:16] You're totally right. [02:06:17] Liberal cuckass. [02:06:18] Yeah, I know. [02:06:18] I'm fucked up. [02:06:19] My bad. [02:06:20] But basically, they're going to be able to control their own leagues. [02:06:23] They're going to be able to control their own games. [02:06:24] They're going to be able to make all the money from it. [02:06:26] And it's probably going to benefit the players of those teams in a way. [02:06:28] They might get a pay raise. [02:06:30] And the clubs will be able to make more money. [02:06:31] For the fans, they'll be able to watch these best teams that exist at the time playing each other more frequently. [02:06:37] That sort of thing. [02:06:38] It's like some of the plus sides to it. [02:06:40] There might be more residual opportunities that are good for the clubs. [02:06:45] But the negative size is like, one, it is like sort of like depleting the tradition of soccer in Europe. [02:06:52] So in Europe, a lot of teams aren't even necessarily making a ton of money. [02:06:55] Like the majority of teams in England aren't really making a ton of money. [02:06:58] And they just exist because it's the tradition of the town that the team is in. [02:07:02] So like in America, a lot of the teams will make money. [02:07:04] MLS, all those teams make money. [02:07:05] This is the thing that Zlatin actually brought up. [02:07:07] Like, yeah dude, like the MLS makes money, even though it's not that big, the level's not that good. [02:07:11] All these teams are making money in Europe. [02:07:12] They just do it for the tradition of the game, the love of what soccer is over there, and so doing this is basically going to create way more disproportionate advantage to those teams that are playing in the super league because, on top of that, they want to not, they want to take away the champions league, but they still want to play in their national like uh primary league serie. [02:07:29] They want to still play in, like their national English league, and then, instead of doing champions league, they do their super league. [02:07:34] Exactly, and they're going to make crazy money doing the super league, because they just don't have to share with as many teams and they don't have to share as many teams and it's all the biggest games, and so then they're. [02:07:42] Going to be able to go back to their national leagues with all this money and they're going to be able to trounce them even more. [02:07:46] Oh so these other random teams Fullham or whatever like that don't have the money that they do are going to. [02:07:52] That wealth gap is going to be even greater, and their argument is also like every year in Champions League that no name team has a chance for a cinderella story to come in or play a season in championship. [02:08:02] Yeah, less before they're relegated. [02:08:04] They won the whole champions league and it's like one of the most crazy, like craziest, like upsets in sports history. [02:08:08] Tortoise yeah yeah okay, so. [02:08:11] So it's like bachelor tradition. [02:08:12] It's like fucking up the local smaller teams. [02:08:14] Yeah, it's. [02:08:15] Why is this short-sighted? [02:08:17] It seems to me like this is short-sighted and it could have negative effects in the future. [02:08:20] I mean, you don't want a two disproportionately competitive league. [02:08:24] It's, it's. [02:08:24] It's. [02:08:25] It's directly non-competitive. [02:08:27] Yeah, it's creating basically a monopoly on soccer and making it not free market. [02:08:30] Well, soccer has relegation yes, but to be fair, within their individual leagues. [02:08:35] That's kind of where it already is like, for example, like REAL Madrid and Barcelona are gonna be the top two teams, no matter what, and then maybe another team will like sprout out for a little bit and then they'll just buy those fucking players. [02:08:45] So it's like when you watch La Liga, it's almost like formula one where like, the winners have been decided already. [02:08:53] I kind of I don't think that's true. [02:08:55] When, when in our existence have REAL Madrid, Barcelona or what Atletico Madrid not been the winners of La Liga. [02:09:05] I think Athletico, I think Athletico Madrid won like not that long I just said that when of one of those three, I think you're saying Athletico is not one of the big three. [02:09:14] Yeah, Athletico is not. [02:09:15] I don't think they're going to the super league like there's been, but still okay. [02:09:19] So with Formula One right, there's like 10 teams, two cars a team and you know who the top three fucking people are going to be and that's just what it is. [02:09:27] There's nothing you can do about it. [02:09:28] And that's kind of how things are in soccer leagues as well. [02:09:34] And Spain is more so, but like, England is less like that. [02:09:37] What about uh, France? [02:09:39] France is even less like that. [02:09:40] Obviously, PSG is like the epitome of like big money, oil and and sports. [02:09:45] And then what about Germany? [02:09:47] Germany, there's more fluctuation again, like there's always going to be, like the Lakers and right of the any league. [02:09:53] But yeah, it's much more equal. [02:09:54] It does seem like there's much less parody in European leagues. [02:09:58] Sports team, like the sports Formula One, parody parity is like um, like the Nfl, anybody can win the Super Bowl any given year. [02:10:05] Oh yeah, we're all kind of on equal ground. [02:10:07] Yeah, the Nfl is the most yeah, um. [02:10:09] And then it seems like Europeans, even though their government is much more about parody and not letting people have too much the sports they watch. [02:10:16] It's all just the haves and the have-nots. [02:10:18] Formula One, Soccer, whatever the fuck else they play, who cares? [02:10:22] So that's what makes Champions League interesting is that you have all the best teams where, like, for example, in La Liga, there might not be as much open market competition because these three teams win every year. [02:10:31] Same with like in Syria. [02:10:33] Like, Juventus is one of the last seven, you know, Syria tournaments. [02:10:36] So, like, they always win. [02:10:38] But in Champions League, it's way more equitable because it's all the best teams that are competing with each other. [02:10:42] So, I guess what I would ask is, like, how is this not a better version of Champions League? [02:10:48] Because, I mean, on the one hand, like, it is affecting all the lower teams in those leagues. [02:10:54] So, like, it's affecting the actual quality of the play in the other leagues, telling the other teams, like, go fuck themselves. [02:10:59] So, soccer fans. [02:11:00] Just so I understand, don't those teams already go fuck themselves because they can't make Champions League? [02:11:06] I thought Champions League. [02:11:07] But they could still go, they could still go into the Champions League because they haven't changed. [02:11:11] Oh, it's top four. [02:11:12] Yeah, yeah. [02:11:13] So, okay, it's top four. [02:11:14] So, then this new super league is basically like, let's just do top two. [02:11:18] They're basically just saying it's a closed group. [02:11:20] Oh, not even Facebook. [02:11:22] I understand it. [02:11:23] Yeah, yeah. [02:11:24] The richest team. [02:11:25] Got you, got you, got you, got you. [02:11:26] That makes way more sense to me and why it's frustrating. [02:11:29] Because what I was thinking was like, dude, the top two are already decided always anyway with these leagues, or at least the top few is all the same, right? [02:11:36] But there's a chance you get a sneaker that comes in there at four, and then they get the opportunity to play on a much bigger stage, make sure that they're in the middle of the city. [02:11:42] He was like this nobody team that comes through five years ago and wins the whole thing. [02:11:45] Have they been since? [02:11:46] They've been great. [02:11:48] They've been competing super. [02:11:49] That money like floated them. [02:11:50] Yeah, exactly. [02:11:51] And it changed the whole trajectory of the club. [02:11:52] And that's what happens with a lot of these clubs: that they'll do nothing, have this crazy showing, get all this money, and be able to buy players and grow the club. [02:11:58] And then the whole club flips. [02:11:59] That's okay. [02:11:59] Then I, for that reason, the fact that it's very difficult, but you can get there, I believe in the Champions League. [02:12:08] And I would believe in the super, whatever it is, if they had the ability to get in. [02:12:13] But the fact that you're like closing it off, it actually reduces competition amongst the end. [02:12:17] It's a monopoly. [02:12:18] It's directly non-competition. [02:12:19] And you take away hope. [02:12:20] But at the same time, what happens in UEFA and the Champions League when a big market team like Intermilan, for example, like they didn't make Champions League, but they know they're so much better than some other players from other leagues that are in that Champions. [02:12:33] They have to sit out for an entire year without those eyeballs, without those jerseys for that. [02:12:39] So for them, they're like, we're all. [02:12:41] So they don't want to. [02:12:43] On the global side, from a business perspective, I'm like, you get to keep eyeballs on. [02:12:48] I'm more willing to watch more of these crazy matchups between Real Madrid and Juventus than all of these other Champions League games. [02:12:57] This is really interesting. [02:12:58] So what they're trying to do is protect themselves from a random year where they get bumped out of the Champions League and they lose potentially hundreds of millions. [02:13:07] And the streaming rights are crazy. [02:13:08] Like if they go to the Champions League final, they could potentially make upwards of like $3 million, $4 million. [02:13:13] So I'm looking at this. [02:13:14] $400 million. [02:13:15] Yeah, I'm looking at this a little different. [02:13:16] I'm looking at this from this actually doesn't benefit Real Madrid or Barcelona. [02:13:22] This benefits the team that barely makes it. [02:13:25] What do you mean? [02:13:26] So let's say the top four teams that make it in the La Liga are Real Madrid, Barcelona, Atletico, and Valencia or something like that, right? [02:13:35] Like this kind of really benefits Valencia because they're like, oh, I'm locked in. [02:13:40] I'm guaranteed that Valencia might not be in it. [02:13:43] But like the teams that are locked in that might not make it some years. [02:13:46] Like you were talking about the Inter Milan, they could lose $200 million or they have a bad year. [02:13:49] Yeah. [02:13:50] But people might not want to watch the games because all the biggest players aren't in those leagues. [02:13:56] So like, okay, we're not going to, like, are we going to watch the Champions League because like random, you know, lower-level Syria teams are in? [02:14:02] Or do we want to watch those lower-level Syria teams play Real Madrid? [02:14:05] Like, it's those big money games that people want to watch. [02:14:07] And so by pulling all the money out, you basically just tell the leagues, like, yeah, no one's going to watch it anyway. [02:14:12] Because I get the Lakers, the Knicks, Celtics, and whatever other big three teams. [02:14:19] I'm talking about like if you don't qualify. [02:14:21] So, for example, he was saying like Inner Milan just didn't qualify one year. [02:14:24] And then the fact that they didn't qualify for champions one year, they lost out all that money throughout the year. [02:14:28] Exactly. [02:14:28] But if you knew you qualified every year, because these were the teams that were fixed and in there, now you don't have to worry about losing $200 million. [02:14:34] Yeah, exactly. [02:14:35] That's why they're making the Super League. [02:14:36] Yeah, now it's all starting to make sense. [02:14:38] At the expense of the other teams in the other leagues that all of a sudden, like, their big fish are out. [02:14:44] I looked at it like Barcelona and Real Madrid are just being greedy, when in reality, it's the team that might not make it sometimes. [02:14:50] It's the inner. [02:14:51] Juventus knows they're going to be in. [02:14:52] But Inner is like, no, this sounds like a great idea because they could be bounced out some years. [02:14:57] Potentially Juventus as well. [02:14:58] So they got Renoval. [02:15:00] That's why a lot of these English teams, a lot of the English teams, I think like right now there's like four or five that are in the conversation, but I think like five more, like, yeah, we would be in it if we could. [02:15:07] Like they're like putting in bids to be in it. [02:15:09] Especially if you always, if you have a big fan base, you want to say, you're saying, I want to serve that fan base year-round. [02:15:16] So we're locked in. [02:15:18] I'm not a fan of removing competition from sports. [02:15:20] But how do you stop this from happening? [02:15:24] A lot of people are trying to stop it. [02:15:25] Well, UEFA has sorry to interrupt. [02:15:28] This kind of already happens because they do these scrimmages. [02:15:32] Have you seen this? [02:15:33] Like, like Real Madrid will come here and play Barcelona in Giant Stadium. [02:15:37] Yeah, I went to one of those. [02:15:38] And they fucking make so much money. [02:15:39] And I'm sure that they're like, why don't we just always do this? [02:15:42] And that's the other piece of it is that they're going to start doing the games instead of doing Tottenham versus Manchester United or even like Liverpool, Manchester United. [02:15:49] It's a huge rivalry. [02:15:50] Instead of doing it in Manchester or in Liverpool, let's go do it in Saudi Arabia. [02:15:55] We're going to go do it in Bay. [02:15:56] Whatever they're going to pay. [02:15:57] We're going to do it to where the highest bidder is, which makes it feel almost more like a money grab that it's like. [02:16:02] Slutty. [02:16:02] You're not even doing it for the actual fans that adore the team. [02:16:04] You're not going to do it in the city that lives on, like Tottenham, for example, is like one of the poorest suburbs of London. [02:16:12] And so much of the town sort of lives on the revenue that those games bring in. [02:16:18] Like when Arsenal comes over to play Tottenhot's home stadium, like that stadium thrives. [02:16:23] The bars around it are going crazy. [02:16:26] And so when you remove that, it's like you're removing a lot of the sustenance, even just for local cities. [02:16:31] Okay, so there's crazy pushback, not only for the fans for the reasons of like here, they see that their teams will potentially be excommunicated from this bigger picture, but also because they rely on the business that comes from this. [02:16:44] Right. [02:16:45] Interesting. [02:16:46] So there's a lot of like football towns in the way that we have like university towns in America. [02:16:51] Yeah, it's a college town. [02:16:52] College town for that. [02:16:54] It's exactly that thing. [02:16:55] Wow. [02:16:56] Wow, wow, wow, for an American, I mean, they're looking at it probably like there's 300 million Americans we can still convince to love like super high-end soccer. [02:17:04] There's 2 billion Chinese people that are still fighting for who their teams are. [02:17:09] So yes. [02:17:10] They're in acquisition mode, dude. [02:17:12] That's really what. [02:17:12] Yeah, that's what I'm saying. [02:17:13] I don't see how you stop this. [02:17:14] There can be uproar. [02:17:16] There's going to be this. === American Soccer Confusion (11:26) === [02:17:17] Well, what's going to happen right now that they're saying is that they're going to try to UEFA's needed so much reform for so many years, but right now they're saying that they might come after the players. [02:17:27] Like if you get traded to another team, they're going to try to penalize people within Champions League. [02:17:31] Even now, but this doesn't, what I don't understand is like, what happens if like PSG and some of the big French teams and the big and Bayern don't go in there? [02:17:40] How does that, do you know? [02:17:41] So the thing with that, like one, the way that they're going to penalize them is, and again, UEFA is not perfect, but UEFA and FIFA are both corrupt in their own other ways, but, and which is arguably like why they're doing this because they weren't giving, like basically all these clubs were like, yo, give us a guaranteed qualifier spot in Champions League. [02:17:57] Like you're making us like gut it out in all these games. [02:17:59] Like just give us a guaranteed spot. [02:18:01] Like we're getting players injured. [02:18:03] Like it's affecting your bottom line because we can't have our stars playing. [02:18:05] Like just give us a guaranteed spot. [02:18:06] It doesn't seem corrupt, though. [02:18:07] Give us more money. [02:18:08] They're negotiating on that end, whatever. [02:18:10] But basically, they're saying to the players, hey, because FIFA is its own governing body, UEFA is its own governing body to say, hey, you play in these games, you can't play in the World Cup. [02:18:18] You can't play in the Euro. [02:18:20] And that is the biggest stage. [02:18:22] And so all these players are like, do I go play in Beijing with Real Madrid or do I go play for Spain in the World Cup? [02:18:29] And so now they're penalizing them in that way. [02:18:31] And the reason why the French teams and the German teams haven't jumped on is one, to my understanding, and I'm not positive about this, but the French teams have an invested interest in UEFA. [02:18:39] And that PSG is sort of like, in the way that these other billionaires are trying to corrupt soccer and make their own league, I think PSG is sort of like corrupted UEFA. [02:18:49] And UEFA, I think, is like a French governance already. [02:18:51] But they're sort of like in with UEFA being like, hey, help us out with this. [02:18:55] Give us a big deal. [02:18:56] And so PSG is like, no, like we're with UEFA. [02:19:00] And then I'm pretty sure the German teams have what they call the 50-plus-1 rule. [02:19:06] So my friend David was breaking this down for me. [02:19:08] He basically was like, they have the 50-plus one rule. [02:19:10] So basically, the German teams have what they call like fan trusts that have partial ownership of the team. [02:19:16] So because they have hackers. [02:19:17] Yeah, exactly. [02:19:18] So they have this fan trust. [02:19:19] And so basically the fans are like, this obviously disenfranchises the fans. [02:19:22] So the fans are like, no, we're not doing it. [02:19:25] So the fans are making the decision for the German clubs. [02:19:28] Right. [02:19:28] They don't have the autonomy. [02:19:29] Exactly. [02:19:30] So they're preserving the German tradition in Bundesliga to stay with their cities and stay in their league. [02:19:37] So, yeah. [02:19:37] Yeah, it's kind of wild. [02:19:39] I mean, I wonder if this, could something like this happen, you think, to American sports? [02:19:44] Kind of. [02:19:44] They don't have the intercontinental or like the international sporting games, though, like that. [02:19:50] You know what I mean? [02:19:51] But couldn't the NFL, I mean, they're the most greedy owners. [02:19:54] They're the most, I don't give a fuck, the six biggest teams in the NFL, be like, yo, we're just going to form our own league. [02:19:59] Well, that's what Jerry Jones did, right? [02:20:00] Didn't he say, I'm selling my own rights. [02:20:04] Yeah. [02:20:04] Didn't he start this? [02:20:06] Jerry Jones is like a big, you know, as shitty of a GM as he is with football. [02:20:10] He's a fucking brilliant money guy. [02:20:12] And apparently everybody thought he was crazy because they used to just go to CBS with the TV deals and be like, hey, you know, we'll just take whatever. [02:20:20] And Jerry was like, no, we're not doing that. [02:20:22] And he was like, fuck that, break the deal. [02:20:24] He was like pivotal in them saying, hey, who's the highest bidder? [02:20:27] You get NFL games. [02:20:28] And now that's changed the league money so much. [02:20:32] How much do these guys pay? [02:20:33] Like $2 billion a year is the most recent deal for ESPN is paying for like fucking Monday Night Football or something that we don't even care about. [02:20:39] And I think he went through and negotiated his own sponsorships for his stadiums with Pepsi, even if the NFL is with Coke or whatever. [02:20:45] Like he doesn't give a fuck. [02:20:47] So theoretically, they want the NFL to be a global game. [02:20:50] They want teams in London. [02:20:51] They want Jacksonville to go to London at some point. [02:20:54] There's a lot of people hoping that happens. [02:20:56] Couldn't they be like, hey, they already play a game in London every year. [02:20:59] What if Jerry was like, hey, we'll just go play every Cowboys home game wherever the highest bidder goes? [02:21:02] Well, you could do that, but you need a certain number of games to sustain the league. [02:21:06] You know what I mean? [02:21:07] So if the NFL teams break off and only six of them are in it, it's going to be tricky. [02:21:12] How many games can you get out of six teams playing each other? [02:21:15] And so even in Premier League, they play 40 games, but then they play Champions League and all these other tournaments. [02:21:20] So they're able to do it because it's like an international league contest. [02:21:25] And then they still have their regular league sustaining them. [02:21:28] So it'd be the equivalent of like if there was a Canadian basketball team. [02:21:30] Well, there are international basketball leagues. [02:21:32] Do you think any of them are big enough? [02:21:34] Like, who's the big one? [02:21:36] FIBA? [02:21:36] Yeah. [02:21:37] Yeah. [02:21:37] And so if they were to even do like an NBA FIBA tournament, then it would be interesting. [02:21:43] But there's no real American equivalent to it, I guess. [02:21:46] So what do you think ends up happening? [02:21:48] I mean, it depends on how much pressure one governments like Boris Johnson is getting in on. [02:21:52] He's like, we're going to try to stop this. [02:21:53] We're going to do whatever we can to stop it. [02:21:55] So the people that are going to lose money are going to push back, and the people who are going to make money are obviously going to be for it. [02:22:00] And then it's just a matter of who has, I guess, like the bigger influence. [02:22:04] If you take away their ability to compete in the World Cup. [02:22:07] I think that's huge. [02:22:09] Yeah, they can't. [02:22:10] Yeah. [02:22:10] The World Cup or what's the other one? [02:22:12] The Euros? [02:22:12] The Euro, yeah. [02:22:13] It's like every two years, the Euro? [02:22:14] Yeah, every four years. [02:22:15] It's every four years, but it's two years after the World Cup. [02:22:17] It's 2-2. [02:22:19] There's no way. [02:22:20] I mean, and maybe the kids that are growing up now in the sport, right? [02:22:27] Right. [02:22:28] Maybe they grow up now and then they don't value the Euro and the World Cup as much because they've been indoctrinated with this new Super League thing and that's the most valuable thing. [02:22:39] Yeah. [02:22:40] But the generations prior who their entire lives have evolved around winning a World Cup or at least competing in a World Cup, there's no fucking way that players are going to play in this other tournament. [02:22:52] If the biggest stars, I don't know if they're still Messian Ronald or whoever, if they were all like, nah, I'm not doing it. [02:22:57] The Super League's not going to survive. [02:22:59] Yeah, there's no. [02:22:59] Also, that would really affect the World Cup because what if the big players weren't playing? [02:23:04] Yeah, exactly. [02:23:04] And now the World Cup is like, well, who ends up winning? [02:23:07] And can you really value that win when you know that some of the greatest talent on the planet isn't even in the competition? [02:23:13] Right. [02:23:13] The World Cup would be more sustainable without the stars than a Super Bowl league. [02:23:16] Super League would be. [02:23:17] It would because people are at the end of the day just so like they identify with their country so much, but the victory wouldn't be the same because you're like, did I really beat Portugal if Ronaldo wasn't playing? [02:23:27] Yeah. [02:23:27] Yeah, exactly. [02:23:28] Wow, man. [02:23:29] So it creates a really interesting, like, a really interesting dilemma. [02:23:32] And one thing that people suggest is like, oh, maybe they'll continue to retain their status in like the Champions League and retain their status in these national leagues, but they'll just play a different lineup. [02:23:42] So Juventus has Ronaldo and they'll put Ronaldo in the Super League and it'll be the Juventus Super League team. [02:23:49] And then they'll have their B team that plays in the regular league. [02:23:54] So the question is, does their brand equity draw enough people to want to watch both? [02:23:59] Yeah. [02:24:00] Do we want to see the Real Madrid B team play in La Liva? [02:24:03] Probably. [02:24:04] Maybe. [02:24:05] Probably, because people, when I was in Barcelona, there are Barcelona fans that didn't even know who the players on the team were. [02:24:10] Right, but you knew that it was the team. [02:24:12] Yeah, you knew it was the team. [02:24:14] And like watching the B team might be. [02:24:17] That's where it gets to me. [02:24:17] That's where it gets to. [02:24:18] Like, I'm not watching the G League Knicks. [02:24:22] No. [02:24:22] Right. [02:24:22] Even though you know it's the Knicks. [02:24:24] It's the Knicks. [02:24:24] It's not the Knicks. [02:24:25] But is it? [02:24:26] Yeah. [02:24:26] And if you know that. [02:24:27] And then the question is going to come down to like, can they sue and can they actually say that, no, you can't play in the World Cup? [02:24:33] Wow. [02:24:34] Do they have legal activities? [02:24:35] That's what I was wanting to say that. [02:24:37] Yeah, they probably don't have the ability to sue. [02:24:38] On what grounds can they say that? [02:24:40] We're going to see. [02:24:41] Yeah, they don't have any grounds to say it. [02:24:44] But then again, wait a minute. [02:24:46] If the World Cup is just a private tournament, they can decide what their rules are, right? [02:24:49] As long as it's not too discriminatory. [02:24:52] I feel like that wouldn't hold up in court. [02:24:53] Like if you sued and you're like, they're not letting me play. [02:24:57] They can't. [02:24:57] I don't know. [02:24:57] I feel like the players would win. [02:24:59] You can't punish a player. [02:25:00] Maybe there's a no-compete clause or something. [02:25:02] Who knows? [02:25:03] And apparently, the players aren't happy about it. [02:25:05] None of the players for any of these teams were really briefed on what was happening. [02:25:08] It's tough because it's international owners who don't understand the game just being like, why don't we fucking do this? [02:25:12] Yeah, exactly. [02:25:13] It's a lot of American owners. [02:25:14] They just don't understand the cultural two cases. [02:25:15] They just do Cronky's. [02:25:16] Like, why is there relegation? [02:25:18] Like, I bought a team. [02:25:20] I couldn't imagine the fact that I have this team in this league that could eventually go to a different level. [02:25:25] That's the greatest thing about soccer is relegation. [02:25:27] To them, I think from a business perspective, from a commercial perspective, it's just a nightmare. [02:25:30] Like, if you're an owner of a team, like owning the British team, and obviously, like, the odds of Manchester United getting relegated are like. [02:25:36] Explain relegated to everybody listening that doesn't know. [02:25:38] So basically, there's like within a country, they have a league, like the NBA. [02:25:42] Yeah. [02:25:43] And then there's a lower league. [02:25:44] So there's NBA two and there's NBA three. [02:25:46] Or G League. [02:25:47] And it's just like, imagine the Knicks lost so many games that the NBA just said, hey, dude, you can't even compete with the other NBA teams. [02:25:54] You've got to be in the G League. [02:25:55] And then the Knicks would be in the G League. [02:25:57] And then the team from the G League can come up. [02:25:59] If the G League team was playing so well. [02:26:01] Well, they always do. [02:26:01] So anytime a regulation goes down, someone comes up. [02:26:03] Right, right. [02:26:04] The best team. [02:26:05] So every season there's a team's coming in the league and out of the league. [02:26:07] Which is cool and exciting. [02:26:08] Yeah, again, is way more capitalistic to me than what we do in American sports, which is, oh, you're the worst team. [02:26:12] Here, you get the best player next year. [02:26:14] Yeah, you get rewarded. [02:26:15] Yeah. [02:26:15] Yeah. [02:26:16] God, that's so funny that, like, in this socialist environment, they have the most capitalistic business practices when it comes to their sports. [02:26:23] And we have the most capitalistic business practices when it comes to our sports. [02:26:26] And we have the most socialist policies when it comes to our players. [02:26:30] Yeah. [02:26:30] Right. [02:26:30] No, no, we have the most capitalistic attitude when it comes to business. [02:26:35] But when it comes to sports, it's so socialist. [02:26:36] There's a fucking salary cap that you can't spend more on. [02:26:39] Yeah. [02:26:40] More than. [02:26:40] And that's part of the reason why Lawton was saying the thing about the MLS. [02:26:43] Like, these teams are always making money. [02:26:45] It's a safe bet. [02:26:46] Like, this American sports model is like guaranteed money for the owners. [02:26:49] Yeah. [02:26:49] But it creates a worse product in that regard. [02:26:53] Yeah. [02:26:53] That, like, you know, these European teams, like, they're training these homegrown players, like, putting all their money into it. [02:26:58] Like, hey, we'll break even just to not get relegated. [02:27:01] Whatever it takes to not get go down and lead. [02:27:04] So it creates a really high level. [02:27:07] That's really interesting. [02:27:07] Al, what do you think? [02:27:09] You don't care. [02:27:13] So the question is. [02:27:14] I keep yawning because I keep looking at Al and Al is yawning. [02:27:18] It keeps getting me. [02:27:19] No, what's the question? [02:27:20] So if so, we see with basketball, obviously, America is the best basketball league. [02:27:24] Yeah. [02:27:24] If there was a relegation system in Europe, would it create better players in that league? [02:27:31] And if they had, I guess, like a European soccer mentality towards basketball, let's say there was a basketball culture there. [02:27:36] Yeah, the Knicks should have been relegated for years. [02:27:37] I really wish. [02:27:38] They deserved it. [02:27:39] I wish they were. [02:27:39] And would the ownership treat their players differently and would they treat how they drafted and everything differently if they knew they could get relegated? [02:27:45] There's no punishment for being bad. [02:27:47] Again, you almost get rewarded. [02:27:48] Yeah. [02:27:49] I mean, teams in the NBA try to be bad. [02:27:51] They try to get the highest pick, which is being having the worst record. [02:27:55] Right. [02:27:56] There's a lottery system, but whatever. [02:27:58] God damn, it's jerky. [02:27:59] Good. [02:28:02] I just think it's really interesting to see American influence in this European sport and with a complete lack of understanding of the culture that is soccer. [02:28:10] Yeah. [02:28:10] They might even understand. [02:28:11] They just don't care. [02:28:12] Well, they're just saying we have the NFL and the NBA. [02:28:15] We know what we're doing. [02:28:16] Having a closed system without relegation. [02:28:19] They do. [02:28:19] And it will make more money. [02:28:21] It will make more money and it will succeed. [02:28:23] I bet you. [02:28:24] But at what cost? [02:28:26] Yeah, you have to stop them because otherwise there's what has happened in the NBA and what has happened in the NFL, not as much in the NFL, but what's happened in the NBA is it's become a players league. [02:28:36] Yeah. [02:28:37] And not really at all in the NFL. [02:28:39] The owners cut that shit out. [02:28:40] But Players League and the fact that people are fans of players. === European Sport Inconsistencies (07:56) === [02:28:43] Yeah. [02:28:44] And they follow those players. [02:28:47] And sometimes those players supersede the team. [02:28:50] And I do not think that this is the case with European soccer. [02:28:54] No. [02:28:54] I think that you grow up in a city, you have your team. [02:28:57] Now, who's your La Ligo team? [02:28:59] If you're an English dude, you might have a La Liga team that you follow, and that's based on the players. [02:29:03] But the team that you love from your country, who the fuck you're from. [02:29:07] Yeah, your number one is because of the team, it's not because of the player. [02:29:10] This is interesting, man. [02:29:11] LeBron fans are LeBron fans. [02:29:13] They're Lakers fans now. [02:29:14] They were Caz fans three years ago, Heat's fans eight years ago. [02:29:17] This is one of those perfect examples of inconsistencies. [02:29:20] And I've actually seen this a lot with the police shootings as well. [02:29:26] Like, wait, what? [02:29:27] I know it's a weird change of topic, but like, I never understand this. [02:29:31] I'm so curious. [02:29:32] Yeah, you're going to thread this. [02:29:33] No, like, I never. [02:29:34] Okay, so like when it comes to European sports, right? [02:29:38] Yeah. [02:29:38] European is very socialist in its societal and cultural values, but very capitalistic in its sports. [02:29:46] Right. [02:29:46] Okay. [02:29:47] America, very capitalistic in its societal and cultural values, very socialist when it comes to sports. [02:29:54] Right. [02:29:55] Right. [02:29:57] You see this happen with police shootings, right? [02:30:01] Police shootings feel like the one thing that liberals and conservatives should agree on. [02:30:06] Right. [02:30:07] Right? [02:30:07] Like, conservatives, and I'm talking about the extreme ones, are all about fighting back against governmental abuse of power. [02:30:16] Yes. [02:30:17] This is abuse of power. [02:30:18] We were talking about earlier, right, with Canada. [02:30:20] This is the government abusing their power. [02:30:22] We have to stop the government from using our power. [02:30:24] We have guns just in case the government abuses their power. [02:30:27] Second police shooting happens, it's, well, what were they doing? [02:30:30] Yeah. [02:30:30] You know what I mean? [02:30:31] Why was he resisting? [02:30:32] What's going on? [02:30:33] There's not this immediate knee-jerk reaction to government use of it. [02:30:37] If the government goes, we'd like you to wear a mask. [02:30:39] What is this government abuse of power? [02:30:41] Yeah. [02:30:42] But then if a guy gets shooted for cops, then comply. [02:30:44] Just comply. [02:30:45] Why don't you comply? [02:30:45] Why don't you just go? [02:30:46] We need compliance. [02:30:47] Compliance is important. [02:30:48] Do what they tell you. [02:30:49] Yeah. [02:30:49] Right? [02:30:50] So you have this complete switch with conservative when it comes to that. [02:30:54] Liberals, right? [02:30:55] Yep. [02:30:56] Liberals are, we believe in big government, trust the government. [02:31:00] The government has your right intentions as long as they're the intentions we agree with. [02:31:04] We want the government to do the right thing, and we trust the government to do the right thing. [02:31:09] We need to build out government organizations, have the biggest possible government, and give the government as much power as possible to implement the rules we agree in. [02:31:16] How do you feel about the police? [02:31:18] Defund them. [02:31:20] Get rid of the police. [02:31:21] Make it smaller. [02:31:22] We want governments smaller. [02:31:23] We want less governmental influence. [02:31:25] We want less. [02:31:26] This is the one fucking topic both sides should be able to meet in the middle and go, we kind of both agree on what should happen here. [02:31:33] And neither of them will. [02:31:34] And they're both taking the opposing viewpoint of their general position when it comes to politics. [02:31:39] And I don't fucking get it. [02:31:42] I'm trying to understand why they both can't. [02:31:44] I'm talking about the extremes. [02:31:45] Obviously, not everybody's on the extremes. [02:31:46] There are people with nuance. [02:31:47] But I'm trying to understand why both sides can't just come to this simple thing, both extremists, and just go, yeah, we could change something here. [02:31:55] Yeah. [02:31:56] It's just, you don't want to give the other side a victory, I think. [02:32:01] Is that it? [02:32:02] I think so. [02:32:03] Yeah, I don't know. [02:32:04] How is that like the Super League? [02:32:07] Excuse me. [02:32:09] Their position about culture is completely different than their position about sport, right? [02:32:15] And the political position is completely different than their position about police shootings. [02:32:21] So both sides are essentially hypocritical in the way that they treat the police. [02:32:27] Maybe, yeah. [02:32:27] I don't know, though. [02:32:28] Because in Europe, like assuming that it's, and again, I'm not positive of like how socialist those countries are, but like they're more socialist than we are here. [02:32:34] But like they probably look at sports and they're like, yeah, they don't have to be fair. [02:32:37] Like we should have fairness and rules. [02:32:39] But like if a team gets relegated and their shit gets fucked all the time, like it doesn't matter because that's the nature of the game and they're in a sport and they're getting relegated. [02:32:48] So whatever. [02:32:48] But as far as our society, we should take care of people and blah, blah, blah. [02:32:52] It does make less sense in America to be fair, to be like. [02:32:54] But that's the argument I'm saying. [02:32:56] Sorry to interrupt. [02:32:56] But that's what I'm saying. [02:32:57] But I don't think it's hypocritical. [02:32:59] He thinks they don't look at sports as a part of like the rules for sports and the rules for life are supposed to be different. [02:33:06] They shouldn't have to be the same. [02:33:07] Regardless if they believe that or not, there's still an inconsistency. [02:33:11] It is an inconsistency. [02:33:12] I think to them, though, he's saying to them, it's like, yeah, but sports isn't life. [02:33:16] Who gives a fuck? [02:33:17] Yeah, if they're just taking the position like, yeah, we're hypocritical when it comes to sports. [02:33:21] I just don't think it's a, I don't think it's hypocrisy. [02:33:23] They don't see them as like an equal thing. [02:33:24] Caught up in the which word that we use for it. [02:33:27] I guess my point is like culturally there is an inconsistency. [02:33:31] Yeah. [02:33:31] And it's actually more interesting on our part. [02:33:34] Yeah. [02:33:34] Like we're these big capitalists and we're like, but you can't pay them too much. [02:33:37] Yeah. [02:33:37] What if they're worth that? [02:33:38] And we're like, no, no, no, it's not fair. [02:33:39] We're all through all through life. [02:33:41] Life's not fair, which I get. [02:33:42] But then sports, this isn't fair. [02:33:44] The players just get to choose wherever they want to go. [02:33:47] They just get richer. [02:33:48] The rich get richer. [02:33:48] The poor get poor. [02:33:50] This isn't fair. [02:33:50] This is why sports sucks. [02:33:52] We actually look more pussy than them. [02:33:54] They're pussies throughout everything, but then sports, they're like, yeah, who cares? [02:33:58] Oh, I don't give a fuck about anything. [02:33:59] And then sports, we're like, wait. [02:34:01] What's wrong? [02:34:02] This isn't fair. [02:34:03] It's like, yo, sports, dog. [02:34:05] Do salary caps benefit the owners? [02:34:07] Yes. [02:34:07] Of course. [02:34:07] And what would he put the salary on? [02:34:10] How much is LeBron worth a billion dollars a year? [02:34:11] How much do you have to pay him? [02:34:12] 30. [02:34:13] Yeah. [02:34:15] But that's the thing. [02:34:15] I don't even know what Jerry pushed for the salary cap. [02:34:17] Of course he did. [02:34:18] That's not even like a cultural inconsistency. [02:34:20] Like they're putting on these imposed regulations of rules on the league just to benefit the owners and to make as much money. [02:34:26] No, but the citizens are like, this is how it is. [02:34:29] Oh, yeah. [02:34:29] Yeah, the citizens are doing the bidding of the owners. [02:34:32] The citizens are like, well, why do you need to make more money? [02:34:34] Yeah, we should. [02:34:34] The citizens are like, competition should be fair. [02:34:37] Yeah. [02:34:37] And to be you can make the argument that like that benefits a citizen. [02:34:41] You can make the argument that like it's more interesting when there's parity. [02:34:45] Yeah. [02:34:45] As you said. [02:34:46] So there is a capitalist drive not for profit, but for enjoyment. [02:34:52] Right. [02:34:53] In the enjoyment matrix, yeah, I like football because every fucking year you don't even know who's going to win halfway through the season. [02:34:59] Yeah. [02:35:00] You don't even think Tampa Bay was going to win when the playoffs started. [02:35:03] Yeah. [02:35:04] Yeah. [02:35:04] No, that's true. [02:35:05] Yeah. [02:35:05] But that doesn't even seem inconsistent with society. [02:35:07] Like it seems like the cultural ethos of America is like work hard, make as much money as possible. [02:35:12] And then the league is like, yeah, we're going to put these rules on you so that we can make as much money as possible. [02:35:15] But why can't the people working hard make the money as much money as possible? [02:35:18] Because the owners are the ones. [02:35:20] Yeah, the league owners are always going to be capitalists. [02:35:23] Billionaires are consistent. [02:35:24] Right. [02:35:24] I don't think billionaires are hypocritical about billionaires are like, we can be capitalists, but not the people working for us. [02:35:29] Yeah, yeah, yeah. [02:35:30] Which to me is inconsistent. [02:35:31] Yeah. [02:35:32] Because billionaires will harp on like the fucking Koch brothers, whatever, will put out all these different YouTube and Twitter and Instagram videos about how important capitalism is and how it's going to drive this many people from the bottom to the top. [02:35:44] And it's taking this many people from destitute poverty into middle class. [02:35:48] And then second, someone's like, well, we would also like to be rich. [02:35:51] They're like, well, we didn't say rich. [02:35:53] We just said middle class. [02:35:55] You're not going to go all the way to rich now. [02:35:56] Let's be crazy here. [02:35:58] So I guess what I'm trying to say is like, in this regard, a lot of times we use capitalism as like a talking point, but we're really not about that life. [02:36:05] Yeah. [02:36:06] You know what I mean? [02:36:06] It's like, we don't want everybody to be capitalists. [02:36:08] We want our little cronies to be capitalists. [02:36:09] Yeah, free market for us. [02:36:10] Yeah. [02:36:11] I mean, that's how rules for me, but not for thee. [02:36:13] Yeah, exactly. [02:36:15] But yeah, the shooting, the shooting thing always strikes me as interesting. [02:36:19] Yeah. [02:36:20] I don't get that. [02:36:22] Why is that never a conversation? [02:36:24] I don't. [02:36:25] You see, libertarians make it. [02:36:28] And like the neocons of it. [02:36:29] Like the libertarians, like the conservatives that basically are like money conservatives, but not like money and more, but not like socially liberal, fiscally conservative. === Libertarian Wealth Goals (01:01) === [02:36:39] That's what I get. [02:36:41] Yeah. [02:36:41] And they make that argument. [02:36:42] They're like, yeah, we should do something with the police. [02:36:45] We have to adjust it. [02:36:45] It's fucked up. [02:36:46] It's abuse of power. [02:36:47] Yeah. [02:36:47] And like zero accountability. [02:36:49] Yeah. [02:36:49] But that doesn't mean I don't want to pay taxes. [02:36:52] That doesn't mean I want to not make money. [02:36:54] Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. [02:36:55] That's all you have to say. [02:36:55] You'd be like, all right, well, we're going to train them way better. [02:36:57] It's just going to cost more in taxes. [02:36:58] And they're like, well, you just try not to get shot. [02:37:02] What do you mean it's going to cost more in taxes? [02:37:04] Who knows? [02:37:05] How do we solve it? [02:37:06] We're not sure. [02:37:07] Guys, anything else before we get out of here? [02:37:09] Nope. [02:37:10] No? [02:37:12] Okay. [02:37:13] Guys, this has been an episode of Flagrant 2. [02:37:15] Thank you so much to Mayor Suarez for joining us.
