Flagrant - Andrew Schulz & Akaash Singh - Game Of Thrones: S08E05 - Westerbros Aired: 2019-05-13 Duration: 01:06:43 === The 9-11 of Westeros (14:18) === [00:00:02] What's up everybody? [00:00:03] Welcome to another episode of West of Bros. [00:00:05] It is what is it 11 o'clock tonight? [00:00:08] 11 o'clock Sunday. [00:00:10] We just finished watching Game of Thrones season eight episode five the penultimate episode Andy's favorite increase in the vocab. [00:00:23] I'm gonna have a take right now that I might regret. [00:00:29] I might regret, but I'm positive will be disagreed with. [00:00:33] But loved the episode. [00:00:37] Loved the episode. [00:00:39] And I'll tell you why. [00:00:41] I know it will not be a popular take, but I love the episode because I have been so disappointed this season because everything was so predictable that I was pleasantly surprised by unpredictable endings for characters, even if they weren't the endings that were the most creative or the ones I wanted. [00:01:06] I was like, thank God. [00:01:08] Okay, so Jamie and Cersei die by some bricks. [00:01:13] Fine. [00:01:14] I'm okay with it. [00:01:15] I'm like, and I understand we want to see Arya jump in with someone's mask, and that would have been a really cool ending if Arya was the one hugging Cersei in that moment and keep me and my baby safe. [00:01:27] And all of a sudden, you just saw a stab go right into it. [00:01:30] Or the neck would have been set. [00:01:31] Like, that would have been cooler, don't get me wrong. [00:01:33] But at least it was, there's a little part of me that was like, yeah, that's right. [00:01:36] Like, Cersei didn't go down from anybody else. [00:01:40] You know what I mean? [00:01:40] Like, it was bricks that had to take Cersei out. [00:01:42] It was nobody's hands. [00:01:43] You know, it was just an unpredictable ending. [00:01:46] And I feel like this season so far have been so predictable. [00:01:49] I was finally happy to see. [00:01:52] Like, I didn't predict the hound double death. [00:01:54] I know some of you guys might have seen that. [00:01:56] The Clagain takeout? [00:01:58] Yeah, I think I saw that coming. [00:01:59] Some people did. [00:02:00] The Clagain was coming out alive. [00:02:02] Yeah. [00:02:02] I had a feeling that he was going to die maybe saving someone else, but I like the idea that he wanted to murder his brother so much that he was willing to kill himself for it. [00:02:14] And well, you said that only like you don't want to be like me, only revenge drives me. [00:02:18] Right. [00:02:19] So it didn't matter if he died. [00:02:20] He just, he had to get his revenge. [00:02:22] And I think there's a cool moment in the episode where like all of a sudden Arya gets in touch with her humanity again, right? [00:02:30] Her one singular focus was this list and she was this parallel universe of the hound in a weird way. [00:02:35] He is this strong, disgusting person and she's like this innocent, you know, adorable little thing and they both have the same objective. [00:02:42] And then in that moment, I guess she sees what she's becoming. [00:02:46] She's becoming, but also she's like, oh, vengeance just leads to destruction. [00:02:49] Like, look at Danny. [00:02:50] Yeah. [00:02:51] Danny has torn down this whole city and it's because she's drawn by this singular vengeance, right? [00:02:58] And then there's a white horse. [00:02:59] Why? [00:02:59] I don't know. [00:03:00] Does it have any kind of riding the white horse? [00:03:03] Ride the wild metaphor. [00:03:07] That's where her nose is bleeding. [00:03:09] Dude, she looked like Salvador Dali for the last 15 minutes of the episode. [00:03:13] That was basically like the 9-11 of Westeros, what just happened there. [00:03:17] And like 10 years from now, she's going to get King's Landing Cancer. [00:03:19] That's exactly. [00:03:21] She's just going to find out. [00:03:22] King's Landing Cancer. [00:03:23] So that horse doesn't have to be. [00:03:24] Who does she sue, Danny? [00:03:28] Not happening. [00:03:30] That horse isn't symbolic. [00:03:34] I was raping that bro. [00:03:35] I didn't know if that was like she had a hound horse or like, I didn't know if that horse belonged to someone. [00:03:39] And she was like, okay, I'll take over from here. [00:03:41] I had no idea. [00:03:42] That's how I'm asking. [00:03:43] No, I think it signified White Horse is pure and she was riding back to her. [00:03:46] Her purity. [00:03:47] Yeah. [00:03:48] Okay. [00:03:49] Okay, okay. [00:03:50] Maybe it was dumb, but it was, at least it was for me unpredictable for her character. [00:03:55] And again, I'm sure you guys will have alternative viewpoints and want to trash so many of these things. [00:04:00] But let me see if there's one other thing that was unpredictable that I really liked. [00:04:05] I knew Varys was going to die, but I loved the death. [00:04:10] I thought it was visually really cool how they finally used darkness and dragons right. [00:04:18] Right? [00:04:19] Like you would use darkness and dragons so they could show the actual dragon instead of like, oh, what just killed him? [00:04:24] Yeah, yeah. [00:04:25] Exactly. [00:04:25] And it was a powerful scene. [00:04:28] And I liked how, like, I thought it was a cool acting choice of Danny to just go Drakaris. [00:04:34] Yeah, most screaming. [00:04:36] She was in full craz. [00:04:38] She was a full crazy movie. [00:04:39] Full crazy. [00:04:39] They did that close-up and her hair was like kind of phenomenal. [00:04:42] She was phenomenal. [00:04:44] She was really good. [00:04:46] But like that subtle Dracaris, like nothing. [00:04:49] Like your life means nothing. [00:04:51] It was over. [00:04:52] And I thought that was really cool. [00:04:54] And I liked Varys' reaction. [00:04:57] Like, you could tell in that moment, Varys was like, man, I've lasted this long. [00:05:03] Yeah. [00:05:03] This is pretty. [00:05:04] There was also some foreshadowing, like the last season, Milisandre told him that he was going to die on that island. [00:05:10] Oh, fuck. [00:05:11] I forgot about that. [00:05:13] Oh, shit. [00:05:14] Okay. [00:05:15] I didn't do that at all. [00:05:15] Yeah, that's okay. [00:05:17] Did you notice this was the first time they showed Danny with no makeup? [00:05:20] Well, they did it. [00:05:21] I thought the last scene of last episode, when Milisandra got killed, she was, yeah, she was like walking back, and I distinctly recall her not having anything. [00:05:32] She looked different this time. [00:05:33] She looked a little crazy. [00:05:35] Not like she had like she was new to the crackhead game. [00:05:38] Like not full packet. [00:05:39] That was having a 48-hour weekend. [00:05:41] Like, you know, like when you see one's like, oh, you were good-looking. [00:05:45] Leonardo Capital basketball diary. [00:05:49] Wait, Yep. [00:05:52] Okay. [00:05:52] This is a week away from just it being completely shot to hell. [00:05:55] So those were the unpredictable moments for me to appreciate it. [00:05:59] And that's why. [00:06:00] And outside, that's just like storyline. [00:06:02] Yeah. [00:06:02] I thought this battle was way more pleasing. [00:06:06] First of all, light in daylight. [00:06:08] Thank you. [00:06:08] Thank you. [00:06:09] As soon as it came out, who would have thought? [00:06:10] Cut to daylight. [00:06:11] My eyes were burning. [00:06:12] I was like, I was like, there's daylight. [00:06:16] Everybody had to adjust their TV again. [00:06:20] So it was like, it was a cool dynamic, right? [00:06:23] Because you had two different battles happening at the same time, and one was greatly affected by the other, right? [00:06:29] You had the hand-to-hand combat. [00:06:31] You don't know who's the good guy, who's the bad guy anymore, because the good guys have gone bad and they're seeking vengeance, right? [00:06:39] And then while they're fighting, you got bricks dropping. [00:06:44] It was like the, remember that show, the aggro crag? [00:06:47] Yeah. [00:06:47] Well, guts. [00:06:49] Guts. [00:06:49] Yeah, remember? [00:06:50] Yeah, it was like that. [00:06:51] You got a maze to go through and you got cracked. [00:06:54] You know what I mean? [00:06:55] It was like the King's Landing Aggro Crack. [00:06:59] Wow, Aggro Crack. [00:07:00] It was a cool dynamic. [00:07:02] Way more 9-11 than Aggro Crag. [00:07:04] 9-11 meets Aggro Crack. [00:07:06] So I thought it was a sick. [00:07:08] I just thought it was a really sick way of showing a battle. [00:07:13] And I love the episode, man. [00:07:16] All right. [00:07:16] You guys destroy it. [00:07:17] Why do you feel that that's against popular? [00:07:21] Well, because it's almost become they were texting, like, like, you guys were really upset. [00:07:25] I feel like their opinion of it. [00:07:27] I'm going to let you guys go because I think you're going to hear why they hated it. [00:07:30] I became a cynic of the last like been driving me crazy on Texas. [00:07:34] Yeah, sorry. [00:07:35] And I was always like the eternal optimist about the show, but I really felt like it was going in a direction that I did not agree with. [00:07:42] You thought it jumped the shark. [00:07:43] Jumped the shark. [00:07:44] Right. [00:07:45] Specifically during the Winterfell Battle for Winterfell Night King battle. [00:07:48] But I had this moment right before. [00:07:51] I was watching my buddy Daniel, who I watched the first episode with when it aired live for season one. [00:07:56] And we both looked at each other. [00:07:56] We're like, yo, we just got to like kind of just give in. [00:08:00] Good. [00:08:00] We can't control it. [00:08:01] It's never going to be what we think it's going to be. [00:08:03] The theories are whatever. [00:08:04] Let's just give in. [00:08:05] And once I did that, I actually enjoyed the fuck out of it. [00:08:08] Yeah. [00:08:09] Looking back on it now, like the fact that basically going into the last episode, everybody is where they were at the beginning of the show. [00:08:16] We don't know where Sans is, but like character arc-wise, everybody reverted back to their original selves. [00:08:21] Give me examples. [00:08:22] So Jamie is with Cersei, right? [00:08:24] Arya becomes human again. [00:08:26] She's not going for revenge. [00:08:27] John is, we think, doing being John, not actually. [00:08:31] John has always been noble, even from the jump. [00:08:33] Yes. [00:08:34] And he's not like giving into whatever his love instincts are for Daenerys, which I thought he was going to actually turn and start fighting for her. [00:08:40] And I was like, please don't do this. [00:08:41] Okay. [00:08:41] Okay. [00:08:43] Who else? [00:08:44] Well, Danny is the mad queen, which is what everybody assumed from the beginning. [00:08:47] Robert Brathey was right. [00:08:48] When he was like, kill Danny, he was right. [00:08:50] Like, one thing that he was right about. [00:08:54] What else? [00:08:55] I mean, everybody's kind of like reverted back to Tyrion's, I guess, the only one who's in a weird spot. [00:09:01] Yes. [00:09:02] Fucking loser. [00:09:03] I'm just saying. [00:09:04] So no, no, Tyrion's. [00:09:06] I want to lose it. [00:09:08] She's talking about brutality. [00:09:11] No, poignant observations about the show. [00:09:14] I thought it was a really good fucking movie. [00:09:16] Trash in the guy, fucking the poor guy. [00:09:18] So, okay, I think, yeah, great point. [00:09:21] There's like a little restart right there. [00:09:23] The predictions by the past kings were right. [00:09:26] And you know what? [00:09:26] Maybe we should have listened to them. [00:09:27] They ended up being king. [00:09:28] History repeats itself, right? [00:09:30] This is the same exact thing that happened last time. [00:09:31] It's just you're replacing who was it in the original rebellion against Daenerys' dad, the Magician. [00:09:37] Right, Aegon, was it? [00:09:38] Or Rhaegar? [00:09:40] Rhaegar Targaryen? [00:09:42] But who was leading the rebellion? [00:09:44] Tywin. [00:09:44] Tywin came in with Robert and Ned. [00:09:51] Correct. [00:09:51] Okay. [00:09:51] So it's basically the same thing. [00:09:52] You're just replacing Tywin with who? [00:09:55] John? [00:09:56] With John. [00:09:57] Yeah. [00:09:57] Yeah. [00:09:58] Okay. [00:09:58] Thoughts? [00:10:00] Haney? [00:10:01] I was like 50-50 on the episode. [00:10:03] Okay. [00:10:03] There was a lot of stuff I really liked. [00:10:06] It was the anti-episode three. [00:10:09] The complete opposite. [00:10:10] The web. [00:10:11] So you hated the complete opposite of that. [00:10:13] So I could see why you really, really like it just off that. [00:10:16] So I like how it went about it. [00:10:18] I like that it was daylight. [00:10:20] This battle scene was actually cool to watch. [00:10:22] Yeah. [00:10:22] All the trick camera tricks they're trying to do worked here. [00:10:24] Did some wonders where they were like following people on the ground or something? [00:10:27] Character stuff, like the endings to some, like I thought the clagain shit, I thought that shit was dope. [00:10:32] It was hyped up. [00:10:33] It lived up to expectations. [00:10:35] To Cersei Jamie going out like that, I thought was just dumb and trash. [00:10:40] And the most fitting thing would have been at that moment. [00:10:43] I didn't think about the loser. [00:10:44] At that moment, if he just killed her for love, like we're going to die, like rather than bricks falling our head or get burnt by dragons, kills her, kills himself. [00:10:56] It kind of fulfills that fan. [00:10:58] How Shakespearean of you, Haney. [00:11:00] Right? [00:11:01] But like, we've all been waiting for Jamie to kill her out of anger. [00:11:05] But he kills her just out of like, we're giving up. [00:11:08] We're going to die together. [00:11:09] I don't think that that romance. [00:11:11] And that would have been cool because it would have fulfilled like the whole, your brother would have killed you. [00:11:15] Your brother should kill you. [00:11:16] Like that theory, but in a completely different angle on it. [00:11:19] So just them hugging and bricks flying on their head was really anticlimactic to me. [00:11:24] Do we know, and this is what Alex just said, do we know that the bricks fell on their head? [00:11:29] Yeah. [00:11:29] I mean, yeah, how are they going to do it? [00:11:31] If they're in the next episode, I'm turning the TV off. [00:11:34] Say again? [00:11:34] If they're in the next episode, I'm turning the TV off. [00:11:36] That's fair. [00:11:36] That's fair. [00:11:38] Okay. [00:11:38] Anything else? [00:11:40] I fucking hated Jamie vs. Baymartera. [00:11:43] Yo, I kind of like that. [00:11:44] He hated it so much. [00:11:45] I kind of like that at the end. [00:11:47] We last see of him. [00:11:48] He's laughing, saying, I killed Jamie on the episode. [00:11:49] I thought that was pretty cool. [00:11:50] I think that's the only thing that I'm saying. [00:11:51] I was like a delusional. [00:11:52] It just shows how delusionally last time we see he's legendary. [00:11:54] Well, not delusionally. [00:11:55] Like, it shows how he led his life, right? [00:11:58] Like, it was true to the character. [00:12:00] That would be a fine way for him to go out. [00:12:02] But I don't value life. [00:12:03] He's a bad character. [00:12:04] I know, I know, but like, he didn't value life. [00:12:06] Take him out on the boat. [00:12:07] He should have went out on the fucking door. [00:12:09] He jumped out. [00:12:10] He deserved to have the quick bang bang. [00:12:11] That's the thing. [00:12:12] Sure, sure. [00:12:15] Okay, fine. [00:12:16] That's fine. [00:12:16] Go on. [00:12:18] I didn't like it. [00:12:20] They certainly went in a direction that I don't think I would have gone in, but all week long I was getting more and more agitated because different things about the show would come out. [00:12:30] Like something came out where John and the dog didn't have a send-off at the end because of the CGI limitations. [00:12:37] And meanwhile, this guy just was dogfighting on a dragon for 45 minutes and he couldn't hug his fucking dog. [00:12:43] This dog had one ear. [00:12:44] You couldn't give the good boy a pat? [00:12:46] Yeah. [00:12:47] It just seems like it's been getting incredibly lazy. [00:12:50] All the good stuff, a lot of the good stuff dating back from season six was happening off-screen. [00:12:55] Like even the Arya Sansa Littlefinger death, that whole thing took place off scene. [00:13:00] John telling. [00:13:00] No, no, we saw it. [00:13:02] We saw him die, but their plan was just like a flip. [00:13:06] There was no real crafty way that they handled that. [00:13:11] Then there was also John telling his sisters they did that off-screen. [00:13:15] The big reveal. [00:13:16] He tells his sisters who he really is. [00:13:17] You don't really see what happens. [00:13:19] So I was annoyed leading up to it. [00:13:21] And then I enjoyed the first scene with Varys. [00:13:26] And he took the rings off. [00:13:28] He knew what was about to happen. [00:13:30] I liked how everything leaked, how Daenerys looked and kind of where her mental state was at. [00:13:39] This guy can't say a fucking name right. [00:13:42] You just don't even try. [00:13:43] Don't even try. [00:13:44] You've been watching this show 10 years. [00:13:46] You add three vowels to every single name. [00:13:48] They've got enough vowels. [00:13:50] Every name has seven vowels already, and you're adding a non-complimentary to the vowels. [00:13:56] So anyway, it's Daenerys. [00:14:01] It's Daenerys. [00:14:02] When we say it to you, what does it sound like? [00:14:04] What did I say, Daenerys? [00:14:04] Yeah. [00:14:05] Daenerys. [00:14:05] Yeah, you're acting. [00:14:06] You know what you said, because you've been saying it for eight years. [00:14:10] Don't act surprised. [00:14:11] In my head, I knew Daenerys. [00:14:14] Every time. [00:14:14] Yeah, it's Daenerys. [00:14:15] But when I say it, are you like, this guy doesn't watch the show? [00:14:19] You say Danny. [00:14:19] You sure did. === Manpower Issues with Walkers (08:03) === [00:14:20] I go, Danny. [00:14:20] Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. [00:14:22] That's your deal. [00:14:22] Yeah. [00:14:23] Probably going forward. [00:14:24] I think that's what we're doing. [00:14:25] Okay, cool. [00:14:26] So the thing that really irked me, I guess, was from the beginning, which I couldn't take, was the fact that, first of all, they should have had a Drogon training montage before we got to the fight because that Drogon this week was not the Drogon last week. [00:14:41] Yeah, does he ever run out of fire? [00:14:42] Like, does he need a refuel? [00:14:44] I thought about that too. [00:14:46] He watched his brother take one arrow and was completely off his game and beat feet out of there. [00:14:50] Yeah, yeah. [00:14:51] And then he comes back this way, and it was non-stop Drogon. [00:14:55] Yeah. [00:14:55] We needed that action with the White Walkers for sure. [00:14:58] We needed that with the White Walkers. [00:14:59] We could have used it last week. [00:15:00] Yeah. [00:15:01] And I was just like, okay, so this thing is just going to decimate this whole army scene. [00:15:04] And I guess all it takes is really one dragon. [00:15:08] How did the Targaryens ever lose? [00:15:12] That's just fine. [00:15:13] I kept thinking. [00:15:13] No, well, they must have because they're not in power. [00:15:15] Well, no, the dragons died. [00:15:16] Madam Protection. [00:15:17] The dragons. [00:15:20] Last episode, she's flying straight towards him. [00:15:23] Dragon dies. [00:15:24] This episode, the dragons are flying diagonal. [00:15:28] No, no, no, no. [00:15:29] I'm saying like thousands of years ago where they never had a scorpion. [00:15:32] They never had the thing that shot him. [00:15:33] No, what happened was the dragons ended up dying off. [00:15:35] They stopped reproducing. [00:15:36] They stopped reproducing. [00:15:37] That's why they're not. [00:15:38] Asexual dude. [00:15:39] So it's kind of hard to figure out. [00:15:40] They're all replaced when they were conquerors. [00:15:41] They took over. [00:15:42] Yeah, they did it pretty easily from what they were doing. [00:15:43] Right, right. [00:15:44] Gotcha. [00:15:44] Okay, yeah. [00:15:45] Yeah, I think when they actually took over, they had like a very small army. [00:15:48] That was like the thing. [00:15:48] It was mainly dragons. [00:15:50] Yes. [00:15:50] But they had three. [00:15:51] They had three. [00:15:51] They had three. [00:15:52] Yeah. [00:15:52] Right, right. [00:15:53] Apparently, you didn't really need three. [00:15:55] That was the takeaway. [00:15:56] You see one going off. [00:15:57] Yeah. [00:15:57] Then there was this whole other half an army of Darthracki. [00:16:00] I don't know where they came from. [00:16:01] Well, that was the other thing. [00:16:01] I was like, all right, I thought they all died. [00:16:03] There was like one guy. [00:16:03] There was a couple of them out there. [00:16:04] Yeah. [00:16:05] Right. [00:16:06] Right. [00:16:06] And now they got balls. [00:16:08] Like, last time they were running. [00:16:10] This is what they do. [00:16:11] They go sack cities. [00:16:12] Yeah. [00:16:12] They rape, they pillage. [00:16:13] This is what they're doing. [00:16:14] They're back in their element. [00:16:15] Yeah. [00:16:16] But before we saw them running back from the White Walkers that just destroyed all of them. [00:16:21] There's like four of them. [00:16:22] Exactly. [00:16:23] So now those four have somehow multiplied into a whole small army. [00:16:26] It's unbelievable. [00:16:27] Yeah. [00:16:27] Okay. [00:16:28] Fair. [00:16:28] So there's some issues, right? [00:16:30] There's some numbers. [00:16:32] Manpower issues there, right? [00:16:33] A little bit of manpower issues. [00:16:35] Yeah. [00:16:35] That'd be funny if there was because I think what's it goes? [00:16:39] Danny goes to John, like, you know, where's the Darthracki army? [00:16:42] That'd be cool if he was like, oh, like those three guys? [00:16:45] Yeah. [00:16:47] Yeah, they're here. [00:16:49] They didn't go home. [00:16:50] I saw four of them. [00:16:52] It's like saving Private Ryan. [00:16:55] Saving Private Dothraki. [00:16:56] No, we sent him back. [00:16:57] We sent him back home to their mom. [00:17:01] Private drug. [00:17:02] So yeah, I didn't love that. [00:17:03] And then, you know, the other part was when they went to go sack the city. [00:17:06] I get the Dorothraki went nuts. [00:17:07] And I liked how they did the little standoff with Grey Worm. [00:17:11] But then, like, most of those other guys with them were, I was under the impression were northern troops with John. [00:17:17] And then the way that they kind of just broke rank from him, like, I didn't really see that come when he was trying to stop them and they just kept like moving forward. [00:17:25] Did he just so lost in the battle that they didn't stop him? [00:17:28] Did he? [00:17:28] Yeah. [00:17:29] Yeah, yeah. [00:17:29] He said, he said, one of those guys tried to fucking stab him. [00:17:32] Can we acknowledge that? [00:17:33] That was the most hilarious part of the whole episode. [00:17:35] There's a dragon lighting the sitting on fire. [00:17:36] There's a full war going on. [00:17:38] And the dude still stopped like, I could get some pussy. [00:17:40] Yeah. [00:17:42] He was going to rape mid-war. [00:17:44] Oh, yeah. [00:17:45] That is in the screen. [00:17:47] Dude. [00:17:47] I know. [00:17:48] Crazy. [00:17:49] The whole city's turning into rubble. [00:17:51] The guy sees one chick that hasn't showered in a month. [00:17:54] Yo, but it's like, it's like when you come out of winter, like guys in the arc that come out of winter, they see a sundress and they're just like, when I go down to King's Landing, the sun's out. [00:18:04] That's how ugly the chicks are up in Winterfell. [00:18:06] They got their first southern pussy and they're like, oh, shit. [00:18:10] That's a good point. [00:18:11] Anyway, go on. [00:18:12] And so then the other thing was, is I just thought the Danny flipped a switch kind of quick. [00:18:18] Okay. [00:18:19] No, that's been building. [00:18:20] Genocide is a pretty big leap, I would say, from killing a couple guys that you don't like here and there. [00:18:26] That was building since the end of the last episode. [00:18:27] So that is quick in the scheme of Game of Thrones, but like we knew that. [00:18:30] But what was her driving motivation to just be like, I'm just going to lay waste of time. [00:18:33] So let's back up fucking souls. [00:18:34] So let's back up finally. [00:18:35] So I'll stand my right back for grabs. [00:18:38] So let's go with Danny. [00:18:39] Let's start with Danny. [00:18:41] That's a good person. [00:18:41] Okay. [00:18:42] So to be fair, she didn't switch this episode. [00:18:46] She's been locked up, not talking to anybody in the throne room of Dragonstone. [00:18:53] Clearly, she's pissed off. [00:18:55] Sure, sure, sure. [00:18:56] But she's pissed, right? [00:18:57] And she was pissed at the end of last episode. [00:18:59] So however many weeks are before it happened to now, she's been not talking to anybody, stewing furious. [00:19:06] If I want someone chop Haney's head off, I probably would skip a few meals myself. [00:19:10] Yeah. [00:19:10] I don't think that that means I'm going to start a total obliteration of a population. [00:19:15] Not a real friend. [00:19:19] Right. [00:19:22] But you don't have Targaryen blood, right? [00:19:24] You have Rossi blood. [00:19:25] That's right. [00:19:25] Right? [00:19:26] So you might like kick over some garbage cans or something like that. [00:19:30] Oh, they take my guy. [00:19:34] Just hit it on your hand a few times. [00:19:35] We're going to handle this for you, Amy. [00:19:39] Spin that camera again. [00:19:40] Fucking sick. [00:19:44] But that is how she's going to end up handling it. [00:19:46] And we also know that that's the prophecy, right? [00:19:48] Keep on shoving this down her throats, which is like every Targarya. [00:19:53] Well, not every Targarya is a flip of a coin, right? [00:19:56] It almost seems to me that like a situation can flip it because Danny, I think, was a good person, and then a situation turned it's in her DNA, right? [00:20:04] Right. [00:20:04] And then, like, we've seen questionable moments like when she killed Sam's dad and brother, and we're like, oh shit, she has this in her. [00:20:09] She got in there. [00:20:09] Yeah. [00:20:10] And that was what, a season and a half ago. [00:20:11] Fuck them. [00:20:12] They had a chance to not die and they chose to reduce it. [00:20:14] We saw that she's willing to go the distance. [00:20:16] I think what happened was she's on that dragon. [00:20:18] She gets to King's Landing. [00:20:19] She sees the Red Keep and she's like, This is mine. [00:20:21] I'm taking it. [00:20:22] She's been waiting for so long. [00:20:23] But she couldn't just drive to the Red Keep and take out the Red Keep. [00:20:27] Like, she had to do the zigzag all the way through the city. [00:20:30] Yeah. [00:20:30] She's still mowing the fields. [00:20:31] Yeah. [00:20:32] Should they set that up earlier, though? [00:20:33] Right? [00:20:34] They set that up earlier when I think you're going to touch it. [00:20:36] I know exactly it. [00:20:37] So when she's like, all the people in that city are insubordinate. [00:20:41] Correct. [00:20:41] Because when I freed the people of Marine, you know, or the slaves of Marine, they revolt, right? [00:20:47] And they're like, the people in this city, when I free them, they're not revolting. [00:20:51] They're not doing it. [00:20:52] They're actually just chilling and protecting the queen. [00:20:54] And Tyrion tries to go, look, they're desperate. [00:20:56] They have no choice. [00:20:57] They'll be killed by the queen if they don't revolt. [00:20:59] This, that, the other. [00:21:00] But that was her justification. [00:21:02] And I think in her mad state, she's like, it's us or them. [00:21:06] Or them. [00:21:07] And it looks like it's going to be us. [00:21:09] Right? [00:21:09] Is that what she was going to say? [00:21:10] Yeah, that. [00:21:11] And when John went to go see her in the room and she's like, you know, talking about leading with fear or love, she put fear. [00:21:19] She picked fear. [00:21:20] First of all, if you'd have just piped her, it might have been a whole different thing. [00:21:24] He could have saved, he could have saved thousands of people. [00:21:27] But he pulled you to shit for any woman who's not going to dick. [00:21:30] She was like, you know what? [00:21:31] You can say this about any of them. [00:21:34] If John would have just laid pipe, she would have been way different. [00:21:37] That was her version of what are you gay? [00:21:39] Yep. [00:21:41] So literally killed a million people because 5-8 John that she's been sides shaming for the last four episodes wouldn't fuck her. [00:21:51] Yep. [00:21:53] Yo, she should have started laying in on his height in that moment. [00:21:57] Right? [00:22:00] Like, what'd you go through Midgetfront Tyrion to make out? [00:22:03] She should have been like, take off the shoes. [00:22:05] I know you're wearing platform shoes. [00:22:07] Is that sword a little heavy for you, John? [00:22:09] Walk down the hallway with roasting them. [00:22:12] Just follow him back to the soldiers. [00:22:17] Speaking of real voice. [00:22:20] You know, John's always like really low voice. [00:22:22] He goes, Hey, my name is John. === Roasting John and the Dothraki (05:29) === [00:22:24] He just starts trashing him. [00:22:27] The other thing I love that it went against everything that they've done previously on the show, the last time we had like a high-profile cameo, it was like, oh, Ed Sheeran's going to be on the show. [00:22:35] It's like, I wonder where he's going to be. [00:22:36] And then if you remember that episode, he literally turns to camera and starts singing. [00:22:40] Yeah, that never bothered me that soon. [00:22:41] I hate it as well. [00:22:43] So A.A. Ron was in the episode tonight, Aaron Rodgers. [00:22:46] And I was like, please don't let him be. [00:22:49] If that was the version of the Ed Sheeran cameo, it would have been like Arya dropped something and he's like, hey, Arya. [00:22:54] And he just throws like crazy bombs. [00:22:58] Like just the hailman. [00:22:59] I would have been amazing. [00:23:00] I was like, please don't let it be something like that. [00:23:01] And we didn't see him. [00:23:02] Like, I'm sure if we like it. [00:23:04] Don't go online. [00:23:05] You'll see him. [00:23:05] Like that dude from Always Sunny Philadelphia. [00:23:07] Yeah, yeah. [00:23:08] But I like, okay, what was he in this episode? [00:23:11] We don't know. [00:23:12] He's probably like someone that died. [00:23:13] Yeah, he's probably just a random guy walking. [00:23:15] But I like that. [00:23:16] I like that he didn't throw something. [00:23:18] That would have been, yeah, that'd been awful. [00:23:20] I personally think it should be in every one of the actors' contracts that they're not allowed to do any appearances or release any footage of them in costume, but not as part of the show. [00:23:34] Like, I hate these videos that come out of them like dancing on set or hanging out on set. [00:23:39] I want to believe that that's real. [00:23:40] I hate that. [00:23:41] It fucks me up. [00:23:41] Yeah, you should be able to determine that they're putting HBOs putting out in like two weeks. [00:23:45] I'm fine with that because it's after, right? [00:23:46] But I don't like anything happening during, like, there was a video that came out with Grey Worm and Masande. [00:23:53] Oh, yeah. [00:23:53] And they're like doing that little Beyoncé dance. [00:23:55] And I was like, not interesting. [00:23:56] I don't want to see Greyworm doing that. [00:23:58] I don't want to see. [00:23:58] Yeah, you're a Greyworm still. [00:24:00] Right. [00:24:00] You're not DJ guy from England or wherever you're from. [00:24:03] You're a Greyworm. [00:24:03] Cold-blooded killer. [00:24:04] That's it. [00:24:05] You've got no balls. [00:24:06] None. [00:24:13] It's just like, don't break the mystique, you know? [00:24:16] Let me get lost in this. [00:24:17] So I love that because I was watching it with my girl just now, and she asked me which scenes were green screen and CGI. [00:24:25] And it was like, all of it. [00:24:26] Yeah. [00:24:27] And the fact that you have to axe that is like, that's dope. [00:24:30] No, they killed it. [00:24:30] They did it well. [00:24:31] They killed it. [00:24:31] And I was watching, I was really nerding out this week on George R. Martin, and I was watching interviews with him. [00:24:38] And first of all, he's a really interesting guy. [00:24:41] And he's like funny. [00:24:42] He's like self-deprecating. [00:24:43] He's like insecure. [00:24:45] He's like a real artist about it. [00:24:46] So what is the last two books? [00:24:48] Say what? [00:24:48] Was the last two books? [00:24:50] Check it. [00:24:50] This is what made me respect him more than anything in the world. [00:24:54] He's such a fucking artist. [00:24:57] He'd rather die than put out subpar work. [00:25:02] And he's going to die. [00:25:03] And he's real talk. [00:25:05] No, because he said he tried to do it. [00:25:07] He was like, when the show started, he goes, when the show started, I was trying to race the show and I couldn't. [00:25:14] And there's a thing with like him and Stephen King. [00:25:17] There's like a talk. [00:25:18] Stephen King, the writer? [00:25:20] Yeah. [00:25:20] And Stephen King asked him at the end, is there any question you'd like to ask me? [00:25:24] He goes, How the fuck do you write so much? [00:25:26] Stephen King's putting out like five a year and they're going to turn into a movie like the next year. [00:25:30] And he goes on this rant. [00:25:31] He's like, I mean, do you ever just like sit there? [00:25:33] Like every word that comes out is a piece of shit and you're not interesting or smart and everything you do is bad. [00:25:38] And like, I just related to it as an artist. [00:25:40] Like, you know, I'm like, oh, shit, it is cool to see the guy who's created maybe the most popular show in human history. [00:25:46] Yeah, he's self-conscious too. [00:25:47] To be self-conscious with his own work. [00:25:49] And it's cool to see that when he was offered millions and millions of dollars, all this type of shit. [00:25:55] And they were like, yo, please finish the book so we do it. [00:25:57] He was like, no, I'd rather die before I put out a subpar version of this story that he wanted to get right. [00:26:06] And I was like, all right, man, hats off, dude. [00:26:07] You fucking, but also, let me just finish the book. [00:26:11] But for us, for us, it's selfish, right? [00:26:13] But as a creative, you're like, for sure. [00:26:15] No, no, no. [00:26:16] As a creative, hats off from the beginning. [00:26:18] Right. [00:26:18] Like, amazing. [00:26:19] He created a whole fucking world and languages and shit like that. [00:26:22] Right. [00:26:22] And yo, he had some dope answers. [00:26:23] Like, people would try to go social justice on him. [00:26:26] And they were like, you know, why is it that all the slaves are black in the show or something like that? [00:26:31] And he goes, he goes, well, you know, the show is different in the books. [00:26:34] You have to understand it. [00:26:35] Like, the books, slavery was based on the Roman and Greek times where everybody was a slave. [00:26:40] It didn't matter your color. [00:26:41] You could just anybody be a slave. [00:26:42] But, you know, a lot of the show is filmed in Morocco. [00:26:48] And, you know, when you put out a casting call in Morocco, the problem is Moroccans come. [00:26:58] I thought that shit was so funny. [00:27:00] And he goes, But if you watch the first season, the budgets were smaller. [00:27:06] And the Dothraki in the first season, they filmed everything in Ireland. [00:27:10] So if you look at like the background Dothraki, not the main ones, the background dothraki. [00:27:15] They look like white guys? [00:27:15] They look like Jack. [00:27:17] Every single one of them looks like Jack. [00:27:18] So he's like, and as we start to change where the locations and stuff, they change. [00:27:23] But he was like, yeah, it's not a thing that we're really, you know, we're not trying to position certain people. [00:27:30] There's production restraints on a TV show that don't exist in a book where you're just making it. [00:27:36] He just exists in his mind. [00:27:37] Right. [00:27:37] Yeah. [00:27:38] Right, right. [00:27:38] And that's funny because Darthrakdi in my mind are colored. [00:27:42] They are. [00:27:43] Yeah. [00:27:44] And in the book, I think they are supposed to be kind of like Arabic. [00:27:48] Yeah, they seem like Arabic. [00:27:49] Something looking people, but the unsullied also were like, they could have been anything. === Changing Locations and Backgrounds (15:29) === [00:27:54] Right. [00:27:54] You know? [00:27:55] And he just handled a couple of these questions. [00:27:58] Like, he had a really funny thing where he was like, I guess I don't. [00:28:02] Any surprises? [00:28:02] He goes, I guess I don't understand women. [00:28:06] He still doesn't understand better than when he started. [00:28:08] But he goes, like, literally, I don't get it. [00:28:11] And they're like, what are you talking about? [00:28:12] He's like, I mean, when I wrote the characters for like Theon and like another one, he was like, they were supposed to be hated. [00:28:18] And I'm seeing these message boards and there are women lusting over these characters. [00:28:24] These are pieces of shit. [00:28:26] So it was just cool to see him. [00:28:28] Anyway, I'm not sure. [00:28:29] So he called out women. [00:28:30] Yeah. [00:28:30] He's calling out women, to be honest with you. [00:28:32] He called them out. [00:28:32] That's him calling out by like down like playing himself, but he's basically saying, yeah, you guys are full of shit. [00:28:38] Yeah. [00:28:39] By the way, like just a tip. [00:28:41] Maybe lose the conductor hat if you're trying to like. [00:28:43] I know he's so good. [00:28:45] He's wearing like every appearance he makes, he has the same like conductor hat on with like suspenders. [00:28:50] I'm just saying, like if you're trying to understand women, use the conductor hat. [00:28:53] Like just start there. [00:28:55] Okay, so the question is, why didn't Danny just go and kill Cersei immediately? [00:29:01] Yeah. [00:29:01] And what are your guys' thoughts on it? [00:29:05] That was one of the questions I've written down for Cersei. [00:29:08] Marco, what do you think? [00:29:09] Now that the way you express, I just, I don't think it became a priority for her anymore because she knew she won. [00:29:17] So Cersei was never somebody who... [00:29:19] She was like, I'm destroying everything. [00:29:21] Right. [00:29:21] You're part of everything. [00:29:22] She has nothing left. [00:29:24] So it's going to, this whole city's going to crumble around it. [00:29:28] She's going to die. [00:29:28] She's going to not die. [00:29:30] I don't know. [00:29:30] Like, I've waylaced it to this land and I've won. [00:29:33] This is now all mine. [00:29:34] Right. [00:29:34] There's nothing she can do about it. [00:29:36] Cersei is a part of this, and this is done. [00:29:37] Correct. [00:29:38] I won. [00:29:38] She's no longer important. [00:29:40] She was just. [00:29:41] She was on the throne. [00:29:42] It was nothing personal to her. [00:29:43] It was her throne, and that's it. [00:29:46] The king could have been good. [00:29:47] She's the only person that didn't have a personal conflict with Cersei. [00:29:51] With Cersei, yes. [00:29:53] Once the bells rang, that's where she snapped. [00:29:57] Yeah. [00:29:57] So after that, there was no logic after that. [00:30:00] Yeah. [00:30:01] I mean, that was when she made the decision, right? [00:30:03] She's been the most removed. [00:30:04] Everybody has shit with Cersei. [00:30:05] You're right. [00:30:06] She's been the most removed other than the last move at the end of the last episode where Masanda gets killed. [00:30:10] But like, it's always been about the throne. [00:30:13] It's never been about the person who's sitting in the throne. [00:30:15] That's essentially what you just said. [00:30:16] Mark, Haney. [00:30:20] You were going to say something right there. [00:30:22] Are we to assume that, you know, when like her and Cersei are like having that stare down, but like they're miles away from each other? [00:30:28] I don't think that they were really. [00:30:30] Are we to assume that she knew Cersei was in that tower over there? [00:30:34] Yeah. [00:30:34] Yeah. [00:30:35] So if we're to assume that, then she's just like, I'm going to torture her and burn down every inch of the city. [00:30:41] Cersei doesn't chair about them. [00:30:43] I know, but still. [00:30:44] It's still like, not only am I going to beat you, I'm going to rub it in. [00:30:47] Which I forgot to mix my guide. [00:30:58] Also, were you guys surprised that, like, you knew she was going to go Mad Queen. [00:31:02] You thought she might kill a few people and then get stopped, maybe? [00:31:05] Like, what was your expectation going in? [00:31:08] You knew she was going to go Mad Queen. [00:31:09] Do you think she was going to go that Mad Queen? [00:31:10] Because that Mad Queen was kind of surprising to me. [00:31:12] I figured, like, going Mad Queen is going all out. [00:31:15] Don't go half mad queen. [00:31:16] So you expected her to burn down the whole fucking city tonight. [00:31:19] I mean, if you asked me last week, I would have been like, she's going to kill a bunch of random innocent people. [00:31:23] A bunch of randos. [00:31:24] Not the whole fucking, not the whole kingdom. [00:31:26] That was, as it was happening, like the last few fire deaths where they really like, like, showed you who everybody else was at. [00:31:31] I was like, oh, shit. [00:31:32] All right. [00:31:32] She's turned. [00:31:33] She's not. [00:31:33] She's completely turned. [00:31:34] She's not going halfway. [00:31:36] Yeah. [00:31:36] And I wonder if there was some logic with it. [00:31:40] You know, I wonder if, and there's a moment where she says it. [00:31:43] She's like, they don't love me. [00:31:45] They fear me. [00:31:45] And then she goes, let it be fear. [00:31:47] And maybe she was hoping. [00:31:51] She was like, look, if John loves me, these people will love me. [00:31:57] But if John doesn't love me, I've got no shot. [00:32:01] So I have to live by fear. [00:32:06] So there's nothing for her to lose, really. [00:32:10] I mean, you might as well just go all in at that point. [00:32:13] But also, like, season four or season five, right after Tyrion joins up with her and they're having that conversation about how to like plan their whole thing. [00:32:21] Yeah. [00:32:23] She says, I'm not trying to stop the wheel. [00:32:25] I'm trying to break it. [00:32:26] Right. [00:32:27] She's breaking the wheel. [00:32:27] She broke the fuck out of it. [00:32:28] She's broke the fuck out of the wheel. [00:32:29] Yeah. [00:32:30] There's no more wheel left. [00:32:31] Yeah. [00:32:32] Yeah. [00:32:32] It is on a separate note, there's a, if we can move on to Tyrion, I think that something we tried to predict last week kind of did come to fruition in a cheaper, less expensive way. [00:32:46] So the theory last week was they're going to go to the golden company and they get the golden company to flip. [00:32:53] And a version of that, and it was Tyrion's doing, and a version of that was essentially Tyrion telling Jamie, hey, go get Cersei to just get on the boat and leave and ring the bells and this way we don't got to go to war. [00:33:06] And I'm glad that that didn't happen, but the idea, like I had no clue. [00:33:12] He tried to broker some sort of peace. [00:33:13] Right. [00:33:13] That Tyrion was going to get busy like intellectually. [00:33:15] He was going to like, I'll risk my life because if you end up stopping us from going to war, then it's worth it. [00:33:21] And then the queen will don't know how Jamie slipped past the circle of Unsullied that had him tentgard. [00:33:29] Tyrion sent him away. [00:33:31] No, they left. [00:33:31] They left, remember? [00:33:32] Tyrion sent him away. [00:33:33] Tyrion was away. [00:33:33] Tyrion sent him away. [00:33:35] I thought he just said Turno walk away. [00:33:36] Oh, I thought he just said. [00:33:37] No, he's like, yo, dip. [00:33:38] And then I guess Davos, who just has a fleet of little boats. [00:33:43] This guy's just a snack. [00:33:44] He's always got a boat. [00:33:45] But there's never a time where he doesn't have a little boat. [00:33:48] Gendry's on a little boat. [00:33:50] Where's this Marine? [00:33:52] Oh, is that the favor that he asked of Davos when he was like, I need a favor from you? [00:33:55] Yeah, I just smugged him over there. [00:33:59] So, yeah, so that was one thing where it's like, okay, Tyrion's going to get busy. [00:34:02] I really thought we were going to see Tyrion really use his brain and kind of be victorious. [00:34:08] And no. [00:34:08] And unfortunately not. [00:34:09] Maybe something will be cooked up in this last episode. [00:34:12] But it was kind of whack, to be honest with you. [00:34:15] Like Tyrion's still just flopping all around, kind of useless. [00:34:19] He really stinks. [00:34:19] I guess it sucks. [00:34:21] And it's like, I think George R. Martin's pissed because he views himself as Tyrion. [00:34:28] Yeah, he does. [00:34:29] And it was like, you know, yeah, man, they're killing him. [00:34:34] He's got to be furious. [00:34:35] Yeah, it's not great. [00:34:37] He's got to be furious. [00:34:38] I mean, you can't have Tyrion go out like this. [00:34:39] He's got to be a savior in some way. [00:34:41] You don't see in the last second half of the episode. [00:34:43] Once she goes mad queen, you don't really see him again. [00:34:47] It's not over. [00:34:48] We don't know. [00:34:49] He could end up on the throne. [00:34:51] I think that he will end up on the throne. [00:34:53] John goes to the north and leaves Tyrion to rule. [00:34:55] Did we have this conversation last week? [00:34:57] I forget because I've had so many of these combos, but the idea that there was the combo between Varys and Tyrion, right? [00:35:04] And the combo was maybe the person that's right for the throne shouldn't, is the one who doesn't want to be on it, right? [00:35:10] Right. [00:35:10] And Tyrion is taking that as John is the rightful king. [00:35:17] But maybe Varys was like, it's actually you, dummy. [00:35:21] You don't want it, but you would be the person who's right for it. [00:35:24] Veris has always been his number one fan. [00:35:26] Yeah, but Tyrion does kind of want it. [00:35:28] I don't know if he's going to be a person. [00:35:29] I wouldn't say he doesn't want it. [00:35:31] I don't know if he does. [00:35:32] He's been a hand twice. [00:35:33] He's certainly flying close to the sun. [00:35:35] Yeah, but he realizes that there's security close to the sun. [00:35:38] Like, he's a dwarf at the end of the day. [00:35:39] He can't just be like walking around King's Landing being a blacksmith, right? [00:35:43] The only way he survives is if he's close to power. [00:35:46] And the reason why he can be close to power is because he's an asset to power. [00:35:50] But he'll never be the one who yields. [00:35:52] I mean, think about how people disrespect him and he's the hand. [00:35:56] Well, you know, season two, probably one of the best seasons of the whole show, his whole arc that season is he becomes the hand and he's really good at it. [00:36:06] He just basically like manipulates the shit out of everyone and wins the battle at the end of the season. [00:36:10] So like, we know he can do it. [00:36:13] And Veris, after that point, was like the one who was like, you actually are good at this. [00:36:17] I'm going to vouch for you going forward. [00:36:19] So yeah, I think that lines up with. [00:36:21] Yeah, but I'm dealing with Marco and I think that if they asked him to be the king, he wouldn't. [00:36:26] He would want to be. [00:36:26] He's not going to do it. [00:36:27] Like if they go to John, we want him to be king. [00:36:29] Oh, I don't want to do it. [00:36:30] He's going to do his whole fucking thing. [00:36:31] But if they go to Tyrion, rip off that hand thing and be like, give me the crown. [00:36:35] I think he's going to be the crown right now. [00:36:36] I think he'd be reluctant. [00:36:37] I don't think so. [00:36:38] I don't think so. [00:36:38] He'd just become a girl. [00:36:39] I think he'd take it. [00:36:41] I don't think so. [00:36:41] I think it would be hesitant, but they'd have to convince him a little bit. [00:36:45] I'm not certain. [00:36:47] I will say this. [00:36:48] If we're talking about Veris, there is something... [00:36:51] Varys had the moment with the little girl, right? [00:36:53] Where he's like, the biggest rewards are come from the biggest risks. [00:36:56] And he was writing on a parchment. [00:36:58] We don't know who he sent. [00:36:59] Now, so he was writing two. [00:37:01] Yeah, multiple, yeah. [00:37:02] Multiple. [00:37:02] And one. [00:37:03] C-C-ing people. [00:37:04] They were, yeah, this is CC impact in the day. [00:37:07] So one was definitely about Mother of Dragons, right? [00:37:13] Because if you read the lines, it was describing that little spiel that she gives before she kills you. [00:37:21] One mentioned Ned Stark on it. [00:37:23] One was saying John's lineage. [00:37:25] Right. [00:37:26] So where is that going? [00:37:29] I have no idea. [00:37:31] Maybe Brand's doing something. [00:37:32] I don't know. [00:37:32] What the fuck happened to Bran? [00:37:34] Well, I thought that was going to Cersei. [00:37:38] Nah. [00:37:39] Yeah. [00:37:40] Who else would he need to notify? [00:37:43] But that's the rest of the day. [00:37:46] It's useless. [00:37:46] It's useless. [00:37:46] Cersei is useless because she's out of the way. [00:37:48] He's going to win in her own. [00:37:48] So the rest of the kingdoms that deny her story. [00:37:51] She's dead. [00:37:53] So where is that going? [00:37:55] That's what we're doing. [00:37:55] Where could it go? [00:37:56] He could go to Robin Aaron. [00:37:58] Who is like still? [00:37:59] To the Veil. [00:37:59] To the Veil. [00:38:00] He's still alive. [00:38:01] Principle was promised. [00:38:02] Prince was promised. [00:38:04] For sure. [00:38:05] For sure. [00:38:07] It could go like somewhere random in Essos, right? [00:38:10] And get some Eastern. [00:38:12] Dorne. [00:38:13] Iron Bank. [00:38:14] We know that Dorne is still floating. [00:38:15] Dorne's still involved. [00:38:16] Dorn, exactly. [00:38:18] It's going to all those places. [00:38:19] Yeah. [00:38:20] That's not King's Landing. [00:38:21] Yeah. [00:38:22] Okay, so there's multiple. [00:38:23] But there's specifically something risky that this girl had to do. [00:38:26] And is that girl in King's Landing at the end? [00:38:30] Remember there was a girl that was trembling by a wall? [00:38:32] Well, yeah, that was the girl that she was like the kid surrogate that we were following through the whole battle with. [00:38:36] And then at the very end, she gets the same girl that was a different girl. [00:38:41] You get introduced to that girl at the beginning of the King's Landing battle. [00:38:44] Okay, fair enough. [00:38:45] I thought they were the same girl. [00:38:46] Okay. [00:38:46] All right, so we don't know where that little parchment is going, but it's potentially going somewhere. [00:38:53] Look at you with your notes, man. [00:38:54] Yeah, because I want to break down per character and like all the questions that I had. [00:38:57] Okay. [00:38:59] Here's my issue. [00:39:00] Let's talk about Cersei if we can. [00:39:02] So I was disappointed in Cersei because throughout these last seven and a half seasons, she's thought everything through. [00:39:09] Literally everything through to a T. [00:39:12] And I believe so much in Cersei that as King's Landing is being torn to shreds and the dragon is flying right at Cersei, at any moment I'm like, oh, right into her trap. [00:39:23] I'm assuming right there. [00:39:28] And it's right there and it shoots it right into her chest and then right through or right through the neck, right through Daenerys's as well, right? [00:39:34] And it was like, oh, shit. [00:39:36] She sacrificed everybody in the realm so she could maintain, to get the dragon close enough to her so she could piece her out. [00:39:45] And then I was like, sorry, what? [00:39:46] I thought Kyburn was going to step in with like the last minute move to take it out. [00:39:50] Something like that. [00:39:50] But basically, you looked at a situation where Cersei never had ego. [00:39:57] Her value throughout this whole show was she was egoless, right? [00:40:01] Shame, shame. [00:40:02] She's like, fuck it. [00:40:03] I'll go walk through the. [00:40:04] Am I free after? [00:40:06] Yeah. [00:40:06] Because I'm a body everyone. [00:40:09] So you can look at my pussy. [00:40:10] Like, who hasn't seen my pussy? [00:40:11] I fuck my brother. [00:40:12] Like, I have no shame, right? [00:40:13] So she's never had an issue. [00:40:16] She fucked Bam Margera, right? [00:40:18] Because she knew that fucking Bam Margera was going to get loyalty of that fleet and it was going to push her closer to her goal. [00:40:24] She would do whatever it takes to do it. [00:40:25] Whatever it takes. [00:40:26] Zero ego. [00:40:27] And this moment, she's sitting there like, well, no one ever gets in the Red Keep. [00:40:31] Oh, this is the save. [00:40:32] It's like you have ego. [00:40:33] There was no backup plan. [00:40:35] No, but nothing. [00:40:36] Yeah. [00:40:36] What happened? [00:40:37] I couldn't believe it. [00:40:38] It was so absurd. [00:40:39] But she's in denial. [00:40:40] Also, we've been so removed from her. [00:40:42] Like, she's probably had a total of 10 lines before this episode this season. [00:40:45] Right. [00:40:45] We haven't seen any of her planning. [00:40:47] So yeah, it was like, if we're going with the off-screen thing, we assumed off-screen that she had some kind of master plan. [00:40:54] There was obviously preparation being made. [00:40:56] Obviously, she was disappointed with the lack of elephants. [00:40:58] So she probably had a plan for them. [00:41:01] That she couldn't execute, right? [00:41:02] So you had the elephants. [00:41:03] Then you had all those ships built all the new scorpions that were clearly upgraded from the previous model. [00:41:09] Right. [00:41:09] Right. [00:41:09] So they were at, she was putting people to work. [00:41:12] You saw little bits of the wildfire out there going off. [00:41:15] Right. [00:41:15] So you knew there was some wildfire in the talk. [00:41:18] Yeah, that was left over wildfire. [00:41:19] Well, leftover wildfire. [00:41:21] And she probably didn't even know that that was there. [00:41:23] No, no, she didn't. [00:41:23] No, no. [00:41:24] Okay. [00:41:24] I think it was supposed to be like, that was what was left from when she blew up the Citadel. [00:41:28] So, but to your point, she needed to break glass in case of an emergency plan that she's always had. [00:41:36] She's always had. [00:41:37] And she did not have it here at all. [00:41:39] Other than the fact that she thought the Golden Company and her own army was going to defend it. [00:41:44] I'll say something. [00:41:46] The way that they took out the Golden Company. [00:41:50] Soft. [00:41:50] Wait a minute. [00:41:51] Wait a minute. [00:41:52] Wait. [00:41:52] It was sick. [00:41:54] Even though we built up the Golden Company to be something, so you'd like to see it actually do something. [00:41:59] If you're not going to see them do something, it was the coolest way to get a part of it. [00:42:03] That's all. [00:42:04] I totally agree. [00:42:04] Right. [00:42:04] It was like, okay, we don't have time for a battle. [00:42:06] The Golden Company build them up with this, that, the other. [00:42:08] How do we get them out? [00:42:09] The fact that they're looking around and you hear the boom, the boom just fucking. [00:42:13] Oh, it was amazing. [00:42:14] Bro, I'll give credit to that. [00:42:17] Okay, so back to Cersei. [00:42:18] What are you saying, Hayden? [00:42:19] She went all in on the ballistas. [00:42:21] Is that what they're called? [00:42:22] Scorpions. [00:42:24] She went all in on them. [00:42:25] As she showed. [00:42:25] That was her plan. [00:42:26] Okay. [00:42:27] I'm saying, like, that was it. [00:42:28] Like, that was her in case of emergency. [00:42:29] Like, she was like, there's no way she's getting past that. [00:42:31] Let's see. [00:42:32] Even when they're all done, she's like, well, just fire some more at them. [00:42:35] He was like, yo, they're gone. [00:42:36] So let's say, for example, let's say, for example, she has them all surrounding the thing. [00:42:43] She knows that that dragon and Danny is coming for her wherever she is. [00:42:48] Wouldn't you put a secret one right below where you are? [00:42:51] Nah. [00:42:53] She saw it work, though. [00:42:55] Huh? [00:42:56] But that's what you do. [00:42:57] You put a secret one right there and you let them walk into the trap like she's always done. [00:43:03] You know what I thought for a second? [00:43:04] Bron, that was when Brown was going to step up and take out Danny or the dragon. [00:43:10] That would have been sick. [00:43:12] But you know what I found out? [00:43:13] And this is my boy Daniel pointed it out and I looked it up. [00:43:15] It's true. [00:43:16] Bron, the actor who plays Bron and the chick who plays Cersei, Lena Hedy. [00:43:20] Yep. [00:43:21] They have contractually in their contracts. === The Danny Dragon Trap (15:18) === [00:43:23] They can never share a scene together because they dated before the show. [00:43:26] Really? [00:43:27] And they broke up and they had a terrible breakup. [00:43:29] And then I guess they started dating a little bit like right at the beginning of the show. [00:43:32] And they hate each other so much that they can't share a scene either. [00:43:35] That's why in the beginning of the season, Kyburn's got to do it. [00:43:38] Not they're in King's Landing, and like we just see Kyburn talking for Cersei. [00:43:43] They've never once shared a scene together. [00:43:45] That's where when they go to the summit meeting, he's like, all right, to Pot, he's like, we're going to go get a drink while they go, while the adults talk. [00:43:51] Wow. [00:43:51] My ex is over there. [00:43:52] I'm going to go to the other room. [00:43:54] Yeah. [00:43:55] But I feel like it affected Braun's work because Braun should have been in this battle. [00:43:59] Like, where was Braun the whole time? [00:44:00] Yeah. [00:44:01] Yeah, he could have been used. [00:44:02] He could have been used. [00:44:03] Yeah, he could have been used. [00:44:03] Did you guys notice who else was missing? [00:44:05] Well, a lot of people were missing. [00:44:07] I didn't see Santa. [00:44:09] Well, yeah, she's out of Winterfell. [00:44:11] She's going to come in. [00:44:12] Yeah, yeah. [00:44:12] No, she's not supposed to be there. [00:44:14] Really? [00:44:15] She's the lady of Winterfell. [00:44:17] You leave someone in charge up there. [00:44:18] You need to say that. [00:44:19] What about? [00:44:20] I thought Bran maybe was going to warg. [00:44:22] Again, I'm waiting for Bran to actually use it. [00:44:24] To do something? [00:44:25] Yeah. [00:44:25] To do something. [00:44:26] But to that point, even during the Battle of Blackwater, Cersei had the nightshade drink. [00:44:32] She was like, if they break through the walls, me and the kid, we're going to drink this nightshade and we're going to call it a death. [00:44:36] She had a fail save every time. [00:44:37] She had a full fail save every single time. [00:44:39] No matter what. [00:44:40] This was just, I couldn't believe it. [00:44:42] Ego. [00:44:43] Yeah. [00:44:43] Where's this ego? [00:44:44] Where did it come from? [00:44:45] Out of nowhere. [00:44:46] And she had the perfect fucking alley, man. [00:44:50] I'm waiting for that one scene. [00:44:51] She's flying right towards the Red Keep. [00:44:53] And I'm like, it's, oh, okay. [00:44:54] Danny got too cocky. [00:44:56] Danny's about to get got, and then nothing happened. [00:44:59] I was like, what? [00:45:00] Yeah. [00:45:00] This is crazy. [00:45:02] Yeah. [00:45:03] It was just a little odd. [00:45:04] Cersei drinks a letdown, man. [00:45:06] It was a little letdown. [00:45:06] Thinking about it now, like having a little bit of space from it. [00:45:09] It's a fucking letdown. [00:45:09] It was just the Cersei Danny thing was a letdown. [00:45:13] I'm okay with Cersei and Jamie dying in the me too. [00:45:18] I'm so okay with Jamie not killing her. [00:45:20] I did not want to see that happen. [00:45:22] I'm cool with that. [00:45:23] Yeah. [00:45:23] Yeah, I was totally cool with that. [00:45:24] It's like they understood that a lot of people like Cersei and they didn't want to give her a tragic death. [00:45:30] So you think they went back to that? [00:45:31] That's bullshit because that's what they've been doing to us. [00:45:33] We love tragic things. [00:45:33] That's a fucking time. [00:45:34] I don't think though. [00:45:36] It was bullshit. [00:45:37] They gave her like a cop-out death. [00:45:40] So you think it's like fan service in saving her from like a real death? [00:45:45] Yeah. [00:45:45] Or maybe they were just like, well, everyone thinks that Ari's going to kill her or Jamie's going to kill her. [00:45:49] So fuck it. [00:45:50] We're bricks. [00:45:51] Can I ask you? [00:45:52] Someone coming. [00:45:53] Like, fuck, fuck that. [00:45:54] Why are you so sold that she's dead? [00:45:57] A ton of bricks. [00:45:58] Yeah, but you're not. [00:46:00] No, you're drunk, session. [00:46:01] No, no, no. [00:46:01] We're drunk right now, right? [00:46:03] So the bricks come down. [00:46:04] We gotta be drunk. [00:46:05] Wait, I've never heard Alex talk this much. [00:46:07] Nah, I'm sorry. [00:46:10] I'm positive that when the building fell on that person, they died. [00:46:14] The bricks were starting to come down, and then it goes like gray. [00:46:19] Yeah. [00:46:19] I'm telling you, that's not a certain death. [00:46:22] Yeah. [00:46:22] In the Game of Thrones, it's not a certain death. [00:46:24] Yo, the old Game of Thrones, maybe. [00:46:27] All right, look. [00:46:28] Not even there's one episode left. [00:46:30] And this is what you expected to happen. [00:46:32] Anything could happen, I guess. [00:46:33] We didn't see them dead. [00:46:35] But I'll take a bet to say that that's the last we're going to see. [00:46:38] What would be the point of bringing them back? [00:46:40] All right. [00:46:41] We didn't really go into detail about the Clegambo. [00:46:44] Let's talk about it. [00:46:45] Clage and Bowl 2019. [00:46:48] I thought it was so cool, man. [00:46:52] I thought it was so fucking cool. [00:46:54] This felt to me like... [00:46:55] I'm a big Lord of the Rings fan. [00:46:57] Yeah. [00:46:57] And like, you know, at the end of Lord of the Rings, when Sam and Frodo get to the end and they're, you know, fighting with Gollum and they just get so close. [00:47:04] This felt like that like epic battle that, you know, on the site in the background, the flames are going, like, all that shit. [00:47:10] Yeah. [00:47:10] It was cool. [00:47:11] It was a great set piece, and it was the perfect setting for them to finally face out. [00:47:15] 100%. [00:47:16] And there was something romantic about them both dying in the fire. [00:47:19] Yeah. [00:47:20] Right. [00:47:20] You know, this is, you know, early in his life, he's been scarred because his brother burned his face and now he gets to kill his brother by burning him. [00:47:27] He also kills himself because he's driven by this, you know, vengeance. [00:47:30] And dude, even bringing back the eye-poking out scene from Old Grove. [00:47:35] Buck hybrids out, dude. [00:47:36] It was quick. [00:47:36] He's like, Game of Thrones. [00:47:39] He's like, You cannot disobey. [00:47:42] I feel like that was a quick death. [00:47:43] They don't have that enough. [00:47:44] Yeah, no, it was sick, man. [00:47:47] But yeah, that was amazing. [00:47:48] I like that. [00:47:49] It was funny. [00:47:50] He had a bunch of funny lines in there. [00:47:52] Just like when he was like, why won't you stabbing him? [00:47:56] He's like, stabbing him in the shoulder. [00:47:59] That was where I thought Arya was going to come back. [00:48:02] So I actually liked that Arya didn't, right? [00:48:04] Because it fulfilled what she said. [00:48:06] He asks her, so are you going to let me die again? [00:48:10] And then she goes, probably. [00:48:12] And that's exactly what the fuck she did. [00:48:14] That's true. [00:48:15] You know, she could have stayed with them. [00:48:17] She could have went back and got him and helped him or found some way. [00:48:20] But she wouldn't have been able to help. [00:48:21] Like the guy was immune. [00:48:23] Like, how are you going to do that? [00:48:24] But the send-off was the send-off, right? [00:48:25] Like, you got that's why I didn't think she was coming back. [00:48:28] Like, it was a clear, like left turn that Arya took at that moment. [00:48:34] And it was like, okay, she had like a moment of self-realization. [00:48:37] And so I knew that she wasn't going to try and come back and help me. [00:48:39] She knew this was not my path. [00:48:42] There's something else out there for me. [00:48:44] And she knew that Clagain was going to go down swinging. [00:48:46] So now that's how he probably wanted it. [00:48:48] Of course. [00:48:49] Of course, he doesn't want help taken out of his brother. [00:48:51] He wants to do it Dolo. [00:48:53] Yeah. [00:48:54] So here's the question. [00:48:55] Now that Arya is getting in touch with her humanity once again, is Gendry Dick time back on the table? [00:49:03] It's not off the table. [00:49:04] So yeah, so does Arya go back together? [00:49:07] She's going to hit him up with the UM text. [00:49:12] That's going to be a meme for sure. [00:49:14] Did you guys see the doink meme? [00:49:16] Yo, whoa, whoa, on Twitter. [00:49:17] Everybody was sending me that shit. [00:49:19] They're like, yo, Shultz, I already did it. [00:49:21] And there was another one I didn't even see. [00:49:23] So there's this dance called the Whoa. [00:49:24] Do you guys know this dance? [00:49:26] I don't know shit about it. [00:49:27] Oh, Haney knows all. [00:49:28] Haney got all the dance. [00:49:30] He goes like this. [00:49:31] The dad knows the world. [00:49:32] It's going to dance. [00:49:33] It's just like a movement. [00:49:34] It's a movement. [00:49:35] It's a movement. [00:49:35] You know what? [00:49:36] Dancing is movement. [00:49:37] No. [00:49:37] It's like a season. [00:49:41] So two seconds. [00:49:43] You know what the dab is, right? [00:49:44] Of course. [00:49:45] Right? [00:49:45] So it's like a like that. [00:49:46] Like this sofa. [00:49:47] Like a bunch of 30-year-old guys describing dance moves. [00:49:51] It's kind of like, it's like, it's like that, right? [00:49:53] Or you like move into it. [00:49:54] You like falling down. [00:49:55] No, it's like that. [00:49:57] You have to twist your hands. [00:49:58] It doesn't matter. [00:49:58] Don't embarrass yourself. [00:50:00] I'm done. [00:50:00] Thank you. [00:50:01] The fourth. [00:50:02] Thank you. [00:50:02] So basically, what happens is he goes, when Tyrion jumps off the boat, right? [00:50:08] He's just trying to go like, I'm falling. [00:50:10] He hits him. [00:50:10] Where are you going? [00:50:14] So the joke was actually a double. [00:50:16] The meme was, or like, if whatever was a double. [00:50:18] It was a whoa into doink. [00:50:19] I was like, they're going crazy. [00:50:22] And I heard about the explanation. [00:50:26] What if Tyrion planted it? [00:50:27] What if Tyrion was like, Loki, a big hip-hop fan? [00:50:29] He's like, I'm going to hit the meanest woe before I hit this water and make zero splash. [00:50:37] Yo, I don't think he's probably ever had to do a stunt in his life, and that was like a big moment for him. [00:50:42] Yeah. [00:50:43] And now he just turned into a meme. [00:50:45] A meme. [00:50:46] Yeah. [00:50:46] That's what the internet will do to you. [00:50:48] For sure. [00:50:48] Okay, so let's do Tyrion. [00:50:51] Yeah, I think, let's touch on Tyrion. [00:50:53] What do you have? [00:50:54] I mean, I said pretty much everything. [00:50:55] Well, Tyrion and John are going to be tasked with taking down the Mad Queen. [00:51:00] So now, then let's just do it. [00:51:01] Let's do predictions, right? [00:51:02] Because that's where we're at right now. [00:51:03] We've talked about everybody who's gone. [00:51:04] Now we know who's left. [00:51:06] Predictions for next week. [00:51:08] Haney, go. [00:51:10] John takes out Danny. [00:51:11] John does it. [00:51:12] Who's on the throne? [00:51:14] John. [00:51:15] How does he take out Danny? [00:51:16] Fuck. [00:51:16] Or Tyrion, but John. [00:51:18] If it's Tyrion, I'll be pissed because Tyrion has earned it. [00:51:20] Tyrion's made another critical mistake, though. [00:51:22] That was the other thing about his arc. [00:51:24] It's John. [00:51:25] John's on the throne. [00:51:26] Don't count out Sansa on the throne. [00:51:28] Talk to me, Jack. [00:51:28] Your thoughts. [00:51:29] Sansa. [00:51:31] I don't know. [00:51:32] She was always from the very beginning, very drawn to King's Landing. [00:51:36] She's learned after everything that she's been through that she's actually good. [00:51:38] She's a good, like, when she was at Winterfell before the battle, she was actually logically thinking about a lot of things you have to think about when you're ruling. [00:51:45] Yep. [00:51:45] That even John didn't think about. [00:51:47] Yep. [00:51:47] I think John doesn't want to rule. [00:51:49] He truly doesn't want to. [00:51:50] And I feel like he might just go and become king of the north and leave someone. [00:51:53] I think either way, he's going to do that. [00:51:54] She's the Angela Merkel of Westeros. [00:51:58] Just a barren woman wanting to rule for ruling's sake. [00:52:02] Yeah. [00:52:03] So whether it's Tyrion or Sansa or maybe Tyrion as Sansa's hand, John's going to leave someone. [00:52:09] In the aftermath, he's going to take out Danny and then leave someone. [00:52:14] Does John make it? [00:52:15] John's going to... [00:52:16] Maybe he dies taking out Danny. [00:52:18] Me. [00:52:19] No? [00:52:20] No. [00:52:21] Not John Lives. [00:52:22] My concern is what the show guys said is that they're going to, once it airs, they're going to log off of all social media and not check anything for like two weeks. [00:52:30] Like they're going to drop off the face of the. [00:52:32] Which means they're worried about the blowback, which is going to be a lot of fun. [00:52:33] Right, which means something happens. [00:52:35] Oh, you think that's what it is? [00:52:36] I thought that means John dies. [00:52:38] I just thought that they were like, we're done. [00:52:40] Did they say they're going to like Mexico and drink tequila or some shit like that? [00:52:43] They literally said, looking like Neil got Game of Thrones in Mexico, son. [00:52:46] We got New Yorkers in Latvia beating up Chris Das Barzingus. [00:52:50] We're going to find you in Mexico if you fuck up this finale, B. Trust me. [00:52:55] Let's get off the continent. [00:52:57] You better go to Westeros. [00:52:58] That's going to be the only place you safe. [00:53:00] Was it really a Knicks fan? [00:53:02] Son, three Russians. [00:53:03] Not that. [00:53:04] It was three Russians that were Knicks fans that weren't having that shit. [00:53:07] So you get lumped up. [00:53:08] That's it. [00:53:09] That's what you get. [00:53:10] Lumped up. [00:53:11] Where were your Mavs fans protecting you? [00:53:13] Nowhere. [00:53:14] All right. [00:53:14] He'd be everywhere. [00:53:15] Is anyone falling quicker? [00:53:17] Now we're getting into sports talk. [00:53:18] No, it's okay. [00:53:19] You ever see a unicorn bleed? [00:53:23] Have you guys seen the clip he's talking about? [00:53:25] Yeah, yeah. [00:53:25] I'm just saying, like, lumped up. [00:53:27] No one's stock has fallen harder than Brisingus in the last six months. [00:53:29] Lumped up. [00:53:30] That punch hit his head, B. [00:53:32] That means it was a tall guy. [00:53:34] He's seven foot. [00:53:35] Shirt was ripped. [00:53:35] Shirt was ripped. [00:53:36] Well, that's the other one. [00:53:38] I think it was multiple dudes. [00:53:39] One guy on the dudes on the shoulder. [00:53:41] One on the other shoulder. [00:53:42] Yep. [00:53:42] Yep. [00:53:43] One guy bought him. [00:53:43] Why is he still mixing it up? [00:53:46] Why doesn't he have guys? [00:53:48] He's like in Latvia, man. [00:53:49] He wasn't like. [00:53:51] Real talk. [00:53:52] You should, because you get kidnapped out there. [00:53:54] Right. [00:53:54] Absolutely. [00:53:55] There's desperation. [00:53:57] It's fucking taken, right? [00:53:59] He got talking. [00:54:00] He's a girl. [00:54:01] Everybody's making a big deal. [00:54:04] That dude fired off the end of the clip. [00:54:06] Let's get out the fucking way. [00:54:07] I just got snuck at the end of the clip. [00:54:09] She's still next to him. [00:54:09] I think he knows the girl. [00:54:10] Yeah, of course he knows her. [00:54:12] Yo, they should do. [00:54:13] But they try to make it like... [00:54:14] It's like a cool me-back thing. [00:54:15] It'll just happen to be a girl who's working. [00:54:17] He's going like this. [00:54:17] He was like pointing, like, you know, do something. [00:54:19] He calls Mark Cuban. [00:54:20] Mark Cuban is Liam Neeson. [00:54:22] Comes back to get him. [00:54:22] Revenge. [00:54:23] Right. [00:54:23] Taken. [00:54:25] That'd be cool if it ended up being Dolan. [00:54:26] That'd be the only thing I would respect. [00:54:27] Oh, my God. [00:54:28] Dolan just fucking rocked him in Latvia, flew right back. [00:54:32] Oh, my God. [00:54:35] So then next week, I mean, finals predictions. [00:54:38] Mark, what do you think? [00:54:40] It feels like John has to fulfill the prophecy of the prince who was promised. [00:54:44] So he's got to be, he's going to somehow take out Danny. [00:54:50] And I think that it'll be a situation where he leaves North or dies, but he makes it like some sort of like democracy and there's no more Iron Throne. [00:55:01] That's no longer a thing. [00:55:03] That's what I think the whole thing is going to be. [00:55:05] That's breaking the wheel. [00:55:07] Okay. [00:55:07] So the wheel gets broken. [00:55:09] You still get a prince up there. [00:55:11] It's John. [00:55:12] So that's a little predicted. [00:55:12] And then Tyrion and Sansa come up with some sort of like democratic government. [00:55:17] Interesting. [00:55:18] Because Tyrion, yeah, my theory is, and I'm hoping that it's Tyrion just so it's not predictable. [00:55:25] Right. [00:55:26] I think John takes out Danny because he's got to, but now it doesn't even seem that hard. [00:55:32] I would have rather he fucked Danny this episode so that killing her next episode would have been that much more devastating. [00:55:39] There is a John Greyworm fight coming that I think was foreshadowed in this episode. [00:55:44] Oh, now we're talking because Greyworm is all in. [00:55:47] He's a loyalist. [00:55:47] Yeah, he's loyal as fuck. [00:55:49] Because, yo, we gotta, we gotta, because we already got him. [00:55:54] Yeah, okay, that's it. [00:55:55] He's unhinged. [00:55:56] He's got into battle without the helmet on. [00:55:57] He's lost all his discipline. [00:55:59] I think he's unhinged and unsullied. [00:56:02] Yeah. [00:56:04] It's a poor fucking guy. [00:56:06] It's okay. [00:56:06] So that's the battle. [00:56:07] This next one. [00:56:08] He's going to be a bad guy. [00:56:08] It's a Greyworm versus Snow. [00:56:11] I don't think Snow ends up killing Danny then. [00:56:14] I think the Greyworm-Snow battle, and I think you might have fucking Aria Du. [00:56:20] Arya Dew would be really annoying. [00:56:21] Or Tyrion. [00:56:22] Both killings. [00:56:23] It could be Tyrion, so then it's another Kingslayer. [00:56:26] Can't be Tyrion. [00:56:27] Why not? [00:56:28] I'm sorry, it can't be Arya. [00:56:29] I was about to say. [00:56:29] Okay, so maybe it's Tyrion. [00:56:30] You have another Kingslayer situation. [00:56:32] And if you have another Kingslayer, maybe in a weird way, it shifts the perception of the Lannisters and they get to become good guys. [00:56:43] Because after all, shit, life wasn't too good in Kings Landing, but it's better being roasted than being roasted by these dragons, right? [00:56:49] That's what life was under the Targaryen rule. [00:56:51] The Lannisters came in, and they really switched shit up and made life okay. [00:56:55] Like, Westeros really wasn't that bad, comparatively speaking. [00:57:00] Well, that's history repeating itself, right? [00:57:01] That's what the Lannisters did the last time. [00:57:03] So they were heroes. [00:57:04] So maybe, what is it they say? [00:57:06] Like, you either die a hero or live long enough to become the villain. [00:57:08] Right. [00:57:09] Now we're getting into Dark Knight, but yeah. [00:57:13] Right? [00:57:13] So, but on some real shit, maybe that's what they're, maybe that's what they're saying. [00:57:17] And maybe we look back at history and we go, oh shit, this whole time when we thought the Lannisters were these douchebags, they actually kind of saved everybody from Targaryen tyranny twice. [00:57:27] Twice. [00:57:27] Potentially. [00:57:28] Yeah, that's what I'm saying. [00:57:29] So like, okay, maybe we should look back at Tywin a little differently. [00:57:33] Maybe we look back at Cersei a little differently. [00:57:34] Maybe Cersei is protecting the realm because she knows how fucked up things could get if these dragon people get on it. [00:57:41] Maybe sometimes capitalists don't want the whole society to go down. [00:57:46] Slow clap. [00:57:54] All I'm saying is, I would like to see Tyrion on that throne, or at the very least, Tyrion take out Danny. [00:58:03] I just don't want to see John on the throne or John killed Danny. [00:58:06] And if they wanted John to kill Danny, they should have had John have sex with Danny this episode and be completely loyal so that they could tear it apart the next one. [00:58:15] But I feel like there's such a rift between the two, it wouldn't be shocking for her. [00:58:18] It wouldn't be gut-wrenching for him to kill her. [00:58:21] You know, I want a gut-wrenching death, you know? [00:58:23] I want a death where you're like with the person that loves her the most, like Jorah. [00:58:27] Oh, yeah. [00:58:28] Right? [00:58:28] Like, didn't I actually text out like Tyrion is like the last guy to be loyal to her, even though it's wrong because Grey Joy's fucking rider. [00:58:35] Yeah. [00:58:37] Tyrion, Tyrion could very well kill her. [00:58:39] And that'll make sense in the show. === A Rift Between Jon and Daenerys (05:13) === [00:58:41] And it'll make up for his trash performance season. [00:58:46] Are we ruling out the final theory of Bran warging into a dragon and killing Daenerys that way? [00:58:53] Whoa. [00:58:55] That's where Bran comes back. [00:58:56] Bran is going to kill. [00:58:57] She's on burn. [00:58:58] She can't be right. [00:59:00] You are right. [00:59:00] But she's not unbitten. [00:59:04] Yo, I don't want to see Bran again. [00:59:07] Oh, really? [00:59:07] Yeah, just like, whatever, man. [00:59:09] Go right off. [00:59:10] I don't want to see Bran. [00:59:12] He's got to be doing something. [00:59:13] Yo, I want to see, like, at this point, I don't want to see Brand Wargen to anything. [00:59:17] He should have done it two episodes ago. [00:59:19] Like, let it fucking go. [00:59:20] I feel like he could warg into the dragon to save John or something like that. [00:59:23] Sure, right? [00:59:24] Like, that could happen. [00:59:25] Why didn't he warg into Cersei and ring that bell? [00:59:27] Or why didn't you warg into the dragons on top of it destroying? [00:59:30] Why wouldn't he have done this a long time ago? [00:59:31] That's what I'm saying. [00:59:32] I don't want to see Brand. [00:59:33] Brand's a little stud. [00:59:35] Brand's probably got him. [00:59:36] Yeah. [00:59:37] Fuck, I don't want to see Brand. [00:59:39] Let's see. [00:59:40] John and Gregorium go man-to-man. [00:59:42] Post-up in a tree somewhere now, right? [00:59:43] Isn't that what it's going to do when the three-eye Ravens are supposed to do? [00:59:46] When you go back, he's just. [00:59:47] He's become the tree. [00:59:47] No, it was like the original three-eye. [00:59:49] He was like stuck in the tree, that guy. [00:59:50] Yeah. [00:59:52] Okay, fair enough. [00:59:54] I just don't want a predictable ending. [00:59:55] That is my goal. [00:59:56] I'm going with Tyrion on the throne. [00:59:58] Tyrion's a nice twist. [00:59:59] Tyrion on the throne. [01:00:00] I don't like Tyrion. [01:00:01] It's going to be a combo of the two. [01:00:03] Yes. [01:00:03] Yeah. [01:00:03] No matter what combo the two. [01:00:05] Because they foreshadowed it in the slightest way when they were in the crypt. [01:00:08] And they were talking about like, you know, we could have been a good couple, but it would have never worked. [01:00:12] This, that, the other. [01:00:13] Maybe they work something out where they're like, look, this marriage shit, it ain't about fucking. [01:00:18] We got whores for that. [01:00:19] It's about ruling. [01:00:21] We would rule best together. [01:00:22] You want to just do it as homies? [01:00:24] As corny as that sounds, I find that maybe they can. [01:00:27] Marriage of convenience. [01:00:27] A marriage of like there aren't. [01:00:29] Right? [01:00:29] Right. [01:00:30] You know, he could get back to his whore shit. [01:00:32] Sansa is a pimp now, so she got the hookup on the horse. [01:00:35] Tyrion's been celibate since Shay. [01:00:38] You still hasn't fucked in like four seasons. [01:00:40] He's in a little bit of a cold spell. [01:00:42] That's why he's losing his powers. [01:00:43] That's why he's. [01:00:44] He needs whores. [01:00:45] Well, he needs horse. [01:00:46] He's going to lose that. [01:00:47] He's lost now that optimism that he had before, right? [01:00:50] The whores give you. [01:00:52] Well, yeah. [01:00:52] Whore optimism. [01:00:54] Well, it's kind of like the horror nepotism, though, right? [01:00:56] Not nepotism. [01:00:57] Hornetism. [01:00:57] Pessimism. [01:00:58] Horn pessimism. [01:00:58] Sorry. [01:00:59] Whore pessimism. [01:01:00] Yes. [01:01:00] That's normal, I think. [01:01:02] Tell us about your horror pessimism. [01:01:04] I'm still trying to figure out what the fuck horror nepotism is. [01:01:06] You kind of like hang yourself afterwards, right? [01:01:08] So there's like that kind of like self-loading. [01:01:10] And then it makes you want to do good. [01:01:11] So maybe he's liking himself too much these last few seasons. [01:01:14] Let that hair. [01:01:15] We know that that was the problem. [01:01:16] Yeah. [01:01:17] He needs that whore pessimism. [01:01:18] Use it back. [01:01:19] That whore pee. [01:01:22] New emptiness inside. [01:01:23] He was too full. [01:01:24] He was too full. [01:01:25] And he's easy to fill. [01:01:26] He's tiny. [01:01:27] He's a little guy. [01:01:27] He's a little guy. [01:01:28] You know what I mean? [01:01:30] Him just floating like a bobber until he hit the sand. [01:01:33] I wish they showed that part. [01:01:35] After they jumped off. [01:01:36] Do midgets need to swim? [01:01:40] I feel like they're swimming. [01:01:41] What are you asking? [01:01:42] Can they swim? [01:01:43] No, but do they need to? [01:01:44] I feel like they can float, right? [01:01:46] They're like little boogie boards. [01:01:53] Honestly, for some reason, throw one of the water. [01:01:55] I'm 100% understand what he's saying. [01:01:57] If you throw it in the water, you really think they're going to the bottom? [01:02:01] No. [01:02:01] They go like this. [01:02:02] They go like this. [01:02:02] They go boop. [01:02:03] And then pop up like this. [01:02:06] Most people bounce. [01:02:07] What? [01:02:07] They aren't buoyant enough to do that? [01:02:09] Damn, people drowned all the time. [01:02:11] I'm drowning. [01:02:12] That's with current. [01:02:13] There's a lot of... [01:02:13] No, in a pool. [01:02:16] Even babies drown, but I don't think midgets drowned. [01:02:19] Yeah, I don't think it's. [01:02:20] I think it's too much stomach area. [01:02:23] I think there's something about the thighs to thighs. [01:02:26] No, there's nothing. [01:02:27] It's just a nugget. [01:02:30] Don't rule out the heavy head. [01:02:31] What? [01:02:31] The big head. [01:02:32] The heavy head. [01:02:34] That's a good point. [01:02:36] The head is going that head. [01:02:38] You know what they might do? [01:02:39] They might go head first and legs in the air. [01:02:42] That's how they might float. [01:02:43] They might drown legs in the sky. [01:02:48] Think about it. [01:02:49] No, they go in legs first and then they just turn over like a canoe. [01:02:54] You know how those canoes always end up on the top? [01:02:57] They always end up red side up. [01:02:58] That's what a midget is, but upside down. [01:03:00] You don't have a spatial image in your head. [01:03:02] I think it's so solid. [01:03:03] I have no position. [01:03:05] Dude, it's just like when you put lollipops in the freezer to freeze. [01:03:10] To stick to take it out. [01:03:12] That's what midgets look like when you throw them in the ocean. [01:03:14] They just do permanent handstands. [01:03:15] It's a permanent handstand. [01:03:17] And you're like, are you digging for clams? [01:03:19] Like, you go and you tap them on the feet. [01:03:21] You're like, hey, were you digging for clams? [01:03:23] And then you've turned it over. [01:03:24] It's just some dead mission. [01:03:25] Like, oh, shit, he's been dead this whole fucking time. [01:03:28] This is crazy. [01:03:29] No one checked from Tyrion. [01:03:30] They're like, dude, I thought he's doing a handstand up there. [01:03:32] He's been. [01:03:34] Well, we don't know how he's been found the last seven times he's blacked out. [01:03:37] Like, every time there's a big set piece, usually the cop out is Tyrion blacks out and then wakes up. [01:03:41] And wakes up. [01:03:42] So maybe every time he just ends up like feet up in the water. [01:03:44] Feet up in the water, you wouldn't yet. [01:03:46] Dude, that's the thing. [01:03:47] Feet up in the water. [01:03:50] And he can be underneath that water for as long as he wants. === Borrowing Chernobyl Footage (02:48) === [01:03:55] Did you know that? [01:03:58] Did you know that, Marco? [01:04:00] He learned that from Gilly. [01:04:02] Yeah. [01:04:02] Gilly taught him. [01:04:05] Gilly taught him. [01:04:07] She taught him everything he knows, bro. [01:04:09] Oh, my God. [01:04:11] What? [01:04:11] This went off the rails pretty quickly. [01:04:13] Dude, we're getting to the bottom of this, bro. [01:04:17] There's a reason. [01:04:18] There's a reason for all things. [01:04:20] All right. [01:04:20] I think that's, I mean, those are my predictions. [01:04:22] Anything else before we get out of here, guys? [01:04:23] I had a question. [01:04:24] Go, go, go. [01:04:25] When the dragon was flying over King's Landing, they showed the shadow first before the dragon came in. [01:04:29] Was that the same image that we've seen in the past? [01:04:33] Oh, Saeelian? [01:04:35] Like when the dragon's flying over King's Landing. [01:04:37] Oh, who had that shadow? [01:04:38] Who had that vision? [01:04:38] Bran had the vision, right? [01:04:40] Oh, yeah. [01:04:40] I thought it was Cersei. [01:04:42] Someone had a vision, right? [01:04:43] I remember in the trail, like, it was like a huge thing. [01:04:45] Like, yo, there's a dragon flying over King's Landing. [01:04:48] The game was Danny's dream in the hut when the witch. [01:04:51] Yeah. [01:04:52] You're right. [01:04:52] Was that the same image? [01:04:55] Probably. [01:04:55] It's similar. [01:04:56] Probably. [01:04:57] They shot it four seasons ago, so they probably. [01:04:59] I think they just borrowed footage from the Chernobyl dock that they have coming out. [01:05:03] And that's what they do. [01:05:04] Do you guys watch Chernobyl, by the way? [01:05:06] No. [01:05:06] I got Chernobyl right there. [01:05:07] Why? [01:05:08] My only question is: why is everybody British in Chernobyl? [01:05:13] But you wanted them to have Russian accents? [01:05:15] They're in Chernobyl. [01:05:17] It's all British actors. [01:05:18] Chernobyl is an actual place. [01:05:20] That's like an event. [01:05:22] No, Chernobyl, it was in Chernobyl. [01:05:24] Gotcha. [01:05:24] Hence the name. [01:05:25] But it's in Ukraine. [01:05:27] Why do none of the actors have a Ukrainian accent? [01:05:29] They're all British. [01:05:30] I haven't watched it yet. [01:05:31] Wait, it's out already? [01:05:33] The first episode came out. [01:05:34] I watched it. [01:05:35] I could barely get through it because I was like, are we in England or are we in Ukraine? [01:05:39] I don't like that either. [01:05:40] I think that they have to do an English accent or American accent. [01:05:43] No, Ukrainian accent, but speak English. [01:05:46] Yeah, I can do with the like, okay, don't give me subtitles. [01:05:49] They speak English, but throw in a fucking Ukrainian accent. [01:05:52] Yeah, I don't like this English accent one bit. [01:05:55] Yeah, it's they have like cockney accents and they're talking about the Chernobyl disaster. [01:06:01] I just figured it out, guys. [01:06:03] What? [01:06:04] I don't think a midget can do a handstand at all. [01:06:07] I don't know if the arms go up high enough. [01:06:10] It's more of a headstand. [01:06:12] And then the hands end up being like the supportive wheels on a kid bike. [01:06:18] It's like a training wheel. [01:06:19] Yeah, training wheel. [01:06:20] Like, if you're turning this, you know what I mean? [01:06:22] Like, I think, so I think that's it. [01:06:26] Guys, this has been another episode of Wester Pros. [01:06:29] Thank you so much for tuning in. [01:06:32] Tell your people, tell the world, we got one more episode of Game of Thrones. [01:06:35] We will be with you next week immediately afterwards. [01:06:39] And let's pray for good things, man. [01:06:42] Let's pray for good things.
