Time Text
And we are live.
What's up, guys?
Welcome to Freshman Podcast, Man Money Monday.
We're going to be talking about credit and getting your credit on point as a beginner.
Let's get into it.
Let's go.
We are live.
What's up, guys?
Welcome to Friendship Podcast, man.
Regular edition.
It's Money Monday, man.
We're going to be talking about...
Credit cards.
Credit cards.
I think this is going to be our first episode for the year, I think, with credit cards, man.
It's been a minute since we've done one.
As you guys know, it doesn't get as many views because people don't really care about being financially illiterate.
They care more about girls and other stupid shit like that.
It doesn't matter.
But quite frankly, guys, if you don't have your financial things in order, it's going to create a lot of problems for you where women will be a quick...
A distant second or third or fourth or fifth in place if you don't have your money on point, man.
So you've got to have your money on point, guys.
It's very critical, and obviously credit is a critical component to that because if you live in the United States or England or any of these first world countries where credit is a thing, if you don't have your credit score on point, you're absolutely going to suffer consequences, especially when we live in a U3-based debt society.
So, look.
I wish it wasn't that way, but that's how things are.
Everything is based on credit and credit scores.
So whether you want to build wealth or you want to have a good credit score in itself or a combination of the two, you need to be able to figure this situation out.
Speaking of on point, when you spend money with your credit card, you get points.
So if you want to mess with girls for free, you can use your points to travel, hotel room, do what you got to do.
But again, credit is important, man.
So you can make it work either way.
Just saying.
But you know what's scary nowadays?
Debt is at an all-time high.
Credit cards, car payments, properties, people are like drowning in debt.
And the worst part is Americans don't know what to do.
And it's scary because you can Google right now how to get out of debt, what cars to get.
But if you don't have habits to actually maintain that or get rid of debt right away, then you're going to be stuck at that point.
So we're going to cover today the top five beginner credit cards you can get as a beginner, get your score up.
But then again, guys, you've got to remember, you've got to spend it wisely.
Because if you don't spend it wisely...
You'll lose all that income and also, as well, be in massive debt.
Very important.
Yeah.
So, I guess, do you want to discuss first why it's important to have this on point?
Yeah.
So, pretty much, guys, you've got to keep in mind, credit cards are the beginning foundation for most people.
And I say that because you can go buy a property, for example, get a car, but you need credit at the very beginning.
So, you start with a small credit card.
It could be either a pedal one.
Or like a city cash, one of the beginner ones, and then build your score that way.
But of course, you want to have a score that's going to be good because you get lower interest rates as well as better ratings for rental properties or, for example, even cars itself.
But at the very beginning, you have probably a low score of zero.
For most of you, though, you might have a 300 score, 250 score, which kind of sucks, but your costs are somewhere.
I'll say this because everything here in life that we live in, in America especially, is credit-based.
So at the foundation for your future, this should be a very important point for you because, again, your parents might not have a good credit score, maybe your family, but if you start the process of ball rolling, you can change that entire path for your family and for yourself.
So some tips you can use from the very beginning is if your members have good credit, for example, your grandmother, your mom, or your auntie, even your uncle, and they trust you, they can put you on their credit card, you can get points that way as well.
So imagine this, right?
They have an 820 credit score.
Super high score.
It raises like 310.
They put you on your credit card.
You become an actual authorized user.
Now what's going to happen is once time passes, let's say between 2 to 5 months, you get a boost in your score because now they see that you're on their credit as well as an authorized user.
And if you're responsible and not blowing it like you should be, it's going to raise your score immensely.
And it's a little hot you can use with your family members or people that trust you.
But if you don't have that, you can do it as well.
Organically.
But again, to me, if you can use that as a benefit, why not?
Because even for me and myself coming to America, I had a zero score.
But my auntie was really good at using her credit card and using it for points.
So they would travel the world, actually, using hotels and Marriott and different places using points only.
So they didn't spend any cash.
So imagine that.
You're traveling, hotel stay, and sometimes food and resort fees are used with points.
Not even your own money.
So that's a W in itself.
But again, guys, Credit cards are important for your future and for your real-time, for example, payments, for example, rental properties, rent itself, and as well, cars.
But we'll get into the first one coming up here.
What's the first one here, everybody else?
Discover It card.
Which one is it?
The first one, right?
Here we go.
Student cashback.
So if you're a student, man, this is a card you can get.
Out the gate.
You don't need to have an annual fee either as well, but it has a lot of benefits for you as a beginner card.
And it'll match your cashback as well, pretty much.
Alright?
5% cashback.
So you earn 5% cashback on everyday purchases in different places.
Typically speaking, guys, you want to have a card that's going to be stable and not have a mixed match, for example.
Some places give you points for gas alone, or for example, maybe shopping at a certain store or restaurant.
But if it's stable, it's better for you because you don't have to worry about where to shop.
But this one's not bad at all.
Of course, the stores, restaurants, gas stations, and more.
Unlimited cashback, so you can spend as much as you want and never worry about not getting cashback.
So that's pretty good.
And it matches it for unlimited.
And then zero fraud liability.
So again, guys, use your debit card, gas station, they take your information, and then bam, you're in trouble.
But this card, fraud is taken care of as well.
And then apply now, and then the requirements here.
No annual fee, which is pretty good.
Limited dollar to dollar match.
And again, more points as well.
So now buy a card at the very beginning.
But Discover itself, I'm not a fan of, but for you, it might be actually good.
So the other thing also, guys, that's important to know when it comes to these credit cards, right, is the beginner credit cards are going to notice they're not going to have as many perks as other credit cards when you have a higher credit score.
The thing is that the higher credit score, the better the credit card you can get with your credit score.
So if you want to get an Amex, Platinum, etc., which we're going to cover when we do travel credit cards for you guys.
But now when it comes to beginner credit cards, you're going to have to kind of...
You should be lucky at all if you're able to get any credit cards that give you any kind of benefits in the beginning because the way they look at it is...
Getting a lot of perks on a credit card, that's a perk of having a higher credit score because then they can trust you with giving you more benefits, giving you higher credit limits, etc., because you are someone that's trusted with a higher credit score, right?
Your credit score is nothing more than your worthiness and your ability to borrow money and then be able to actually pay that money back.
The lower your credit score, the less worthy you are to pay your debts back.
That's what it simply breaks down to.
And I would say once you get into below 700, guys, that's when you start to get into territory where it's going to be a little bit harder for you to get these really good credit cards.
Now, yes, you'll be able to get basic credit cards, but if you actually really want to build your credit score up and get yourself to a point where you're able to get these actually good credit cards, you're going to need to break into the 700 range, and then more importantly, you're going to have to break into the 720 plus range to get the good cards.
But to get yourself into that position, you're going to have to start with beginner credit cards, hence why this episode is so important, because...
A lot of you guys might be in a position where you have no to low credit, and you want to be able to kind of get yourself in a position where you can get these better credit cards.
Now, I don't anticipate that you're going to want to keep these credit cards long term, or actually utilize them long term, once you get your credit score to an actual good point.
But, you know, you've got to start somewhere.
And for a lot of you guys that have lower credit scores, this is going to be imperative for you to build your credit up.
So let's go back real quick to that Discover It card real quick.
Now, the Discover It card, guys, we've talked about this card literally for years, since we've been doing this series for you guys.
It's always been a very good starter card for y 'all.
because there's different options with it now as you guys could see The reason why we're showing you guys the website is because the offers always change.
You guys are going to notice that what we're showing you right now might not necessarily be the offer in a year from now, or even a couple months from now, because the credit card offers are always changing because credit card companies are businesses at the end of the day, and they've got to be able to stay appealable and competitive, so they're always changing their terms of service.
So right now, we are on the website, so you guys know the actual terms of services right now as we're recording this on April 28th, 2025, okay?
And the discovery card, as you guys know, This is a card that a lot of people utilize in the beginning.
There's different options.
Typically, there's a secured version and an unsecured.
The secured version typically is where you're putting money into it, and it almost acts as a debit card, right?
And then after a period of time, when you pay it off and you show that you're trustworthy, then you can go ahead and move it to unsecured and then use it as a credit card.
That's one of the benefits of a Discover card.
Now, the problem with Discover, and I think Fresh alluded to it a little bit, was...
Discover isn't as widely accepted everywhere, and it's a bit more of a niche card.
You know, going international with this card might be a little bit difficult because a lot of places don't accept Discover, let alone...
Hold on, someone's calling me.
Can you...
Yeah.
Also, Discover, man.
Okay, so I got an issue with Discover.
Just keeping it real here.
I had a friend that we were at the same site building our credit score up.
Hit a Discover card.
What happened was, there was a dispute.
The dispute was pretty much a simple charge that wasn't anything that he did.
And he called them and said, listen, Discover, this is what happened.
Charged on my account.
It wasn't me.
You know what they told them?
We're going to investigate.
I'll get back to you within two to five business days.
Five days came.
They didn't do shit.
They said, listen, bro, basically, you're stuck with this charge.
So to me, Discover, man, I'm not going to hold you, bro.
From what I've seen from them.
Customer service sucks.
But at the same time, like Myron's saying, it's not widely accepted card everywhere because Discover is a niche card, like I said.
So probably in America, certain places you can use a card to benefit from it.
Yeah, a lot of places are not going to accept Discover.
Again, this is why I tell you guys, like a card like this, this is a card you want to get, get your credit score up, and then quickly segue off.
You know, a bit more advanced.
I'll tell you guys, you want to have one MasterCard at least and one Visa.
Visa and MasterCard are by far the most widely accepted.
Discover, even American Express, they're not as widely accepted.
So, you got to, you know, obviously keep that in mind.
Like, I would not have a wallet full of nothing but Discover cards.
That's going to probably be problematic.
I was in France.
I used Visa card.
Perfect.
Yeah.
So, Discover, guys, not as good.
But when it comes to...
Builder credit cards, beginner credit cards, the Discover is one of the best.
I can't even really talk smack when it comes to beginner and builder cards.
The Discover is absolutely good, especially since you're able to get the secured or the unsecured versions of this.
So a lot of you guys might not even be able to get a credit card.
At least you can go ahead and get yourself a secured credit card, which a secured credit card, like I said before, you put money on it, it behaves like a debit card.
And then once you get to a certain point, you can go ahead and segue and turn it into a credit card and unsecured.
Okay, so that's a good way to get yourself in, especially for you guys that have no to low credit.
Good way to get your foot in the door.
And then in this case, going back to it real quick, it looks like they've actually upped some of the things where you're able to get fucking cash back, which is wild to me, because for a very long time, you weren't able to get cash back on this card.
So it looks like they've increased it where you get 5% cash back on everyday purchases at different places you shop each quarter, like grocery stores, etc.
So it might be where, okay, there's a calendar.
Okay, what that means, Chad, let me explain this for you.
What this means is it rotates.
So one month you might get 5% cash back on grocery stores.
Another month you might get 5% cash back on gas stations.
Another day you might get 5% cash back on dining.
So pay attention to the calendar.
They typically do this where it rotates.
I'm not a fan of credit cards like this that do rotating like this, but hey, with a credit card like this that has a very low requirement to get in...
You know, that's a plus for you guys because most of the time these beginner credit cards have no perks.
So the fact that they've actually added in a cashback perk to a Discover card is very...
That's very interesting.
And that's good.
That's good because before it used to be, hey, nigga, just be happy that you got a credit card in the first place.
Yo, back in my day, bro, we didn't have this, man.
No perks at all.
Think about this.
All we had was pay on time, nigga, and that was it.
And that's it.
That's it, bro.
Damn!
You'd be lucky if you can even get anything.
Go back up real quick with this thing.
Let's see what else they got here.
Unlimited cashback match, which is good.
Okay, get unlimited dollar for dollar match on all cashback you earn at the end of your first year automatically.
There's no limit to how much we'll match.
So you could turn $50 cashback to $100.
You could turn $100.
Okay, so basically they won't jip you out because a lot of times they'll expire it or say, oh no, up to this amount we'll match cashback.
And then fraud liability, this is like...
A no-brainer.
Like, that's the whole purpose of using credit cards is so that you can go ahead and call, you know, if you feel like your card is being used fraudulently.
But, you know, I guess they got to make that a perk because, again, for beginners with credit cards, they don't, you know, they're not used to this liability.
A lot of people, guys, believe it or not, are idiots and still use debit cards to purchase a lot of their stuff.
And a lot of times when you use a debit card, you don't get the same protection as you would with a credit card.
So there's a selling point to a lot of, like, you know, idiots out there that are not financially...
I'm aware, but I tell you guys all the time, one of the biggest reasons why you need to use a credit card for everything is quite literally because of fraud liability.
And as you guys know, I talked about this a lot, fraud is one of the fastest growing crimes in America, okay?
Scammers, you know, credit card skimmers, all these people.
Fastest-growing crime.
And the reason why is because these criminals are understanding that violent crime, robbery, and drug trafficking, quite frankly, gets you a lot of jail time.
But stealing credit card information and scamming doesn't get you as much time.
So what ends up happening is a lot of these crooks are moving from drug trafficking into basically credit card trafficking, which is them stealing your identity, stealing your card information, charging things.
Man, I can't tell you guys how many times I've had it where I look at my credit card statement and I see like a $10,000 expense.
For a designer.
And I'm like, what the fuck?
Like, I don't wear nothing fancy.
What's going on here?
And I'll look, and it's like an expense out in LA somewhere.
I'm like, what the hell?
It wasn't me.
Yeah, I know it wasn't you either.
But like, I'll look, and I'm like, what the hell?
So I'll call Amex, and I'll say, yo, this wasn't me.
And I'm like, oh, no problem.
And they get rid of it immediately.
But, guys, this is the new normal.
Like, literally, fraud is one of the fastest ways for crooks to kind of get over on you.
With that happening, I think people need to adapt to and be prepared for the new normal where people steal your identity and they use your cards and charge things.
It's happened to me.
I can't tell you how many cards I've had to replace.
Like, every two or three months, guys, I have to replace my credit cards because it's so goddamn prevalent where people are stealing information.
So, that is a big perk of using credit cards versus debit cards is the fraud liability, man.
Huge.
Huge.
I'll give you that as well.
Even here in Miami.
Rental yachts.
Cars.
I'm like, wait, hold on.
Can you rent a car for 30 days straight with a credit card?
Come to find out?
Fraud.
So, it's a real thing.
Take your information.
But what I will say is, the liability fraud helps a lot.
Yeah, man.
It's huge, guys.
And in the next 10 years, it's only going to get worse.
So, you know, they're marketing it to the normies out there that don't know that that's a big deal because most Americans use cash or use debit cards like morons.
But yes, guys, using credit cards, another big thing besides the points is the liability, which almost every credit card company is going to have.
That zero fraud liability, where if your stuff is being used fraudulently, you can absolutely crawl in and get it fixed.
Actually, if you're smart, guys, if you hear what we're saying here, your career path, cybersecurity could be big, because now, with all this hacking going on, all this fraud, cybersecurity is going to be at an all-time high.
So, good career path.
Yeah, absolutely.
All right.
So, now we'll go into the pedal.
So, I'm glad to see that the Discover It has actually given you guys some perks now.
Now you get a rotation of stuff.
So the pedal, this card is good, guys.
Actually, this was not on the list, but we decided to add it in ourselves.
Yeah, pedal one, pedal two.
And this is the pedal one, pedal two.
You guys know we've talked about this card quite a bit.
Very good card.
There's different versions of it, but this is a very good credit card builder.
If I'm not mistaken, is this one a Visa or a MasterCard?
I believe this is Visa, or am I wrong?
It's a Visa?
They're changing it all the time.
Or is this one like brand?
Nah, it's gotta be one of the major ones.
Hmm.
Okay, let's go to the perks real quick while Fresh looks that up.
So, again, we're on the website here.
So there's different versions of it, guys, right?
You guys see here, there's the Pedal 1, the Pedal 2. Yeah, Visa.
And then the Pedal 1 Rise.
It's a Visa?
Okay.
So let's go with the Pedal 1 first.
So it goes, annual membership is, what, 50 bucks?
Or zero?
So this is actually Rise.
This is like a...
Plus to the 1?
So 1 and 0. I'm going off of 1. So 1 right now, it's a $0 annual membership fee, which is good.
And then you got cash back of 2 to 10%.
APR, 28% to 33%.
Which, by the way, all credit cards are going to have that APR, guys.
This is why I tell you guys, pay it off in full every month.
You shouldn't be paying the interest.
And then you can obviously increase the limit, and then the Petal 1 Rise.
Annual membership is $59, right?
Yep.
Cashback is 2-10%, variable APR, same exact thing.
This one probably gives you more perks.
And then the Petal 2 is annual membership, no fees of any kind, 1-1.5% cashback, variable interest rate.
So as you guys can see, each card has different benefits.
Typically when there's an annual membership, it means that you get more perks.
Yeah, but these are designed to actually help you build credit on your way up.
That's why they have paths to credit limit increase.
So these are made for you to start at the very beginning and build yourself up.
Again, though, secure cards are a thing, but these are even better because you can get benefits as well.
Yeah, so let's go ahead and go to the pedal one first, right?
Right.
So access to credit begins here, right?
So to start, rebuild, to last.
So with this one, right, you got...
Build credit without an annual membership fee, right?
So, an annual membership, guys, very common amongst credit cards, especially good credit cards, they'll charge you a fee basically to hold a card, right?
Like Amex, for example, charges you like $600 or $700 to have a fucking platinum, right?
Yeah.
Which might be a little OD depending on how much you use the perks.
A lot of these beginner credit cards, I'm a big fan of, you know, zero annual fee, especially for beginner credit cards.
I don't think you guys should be paying to hold on to a credit card.
You don't really want to be paying annual fees unless the card pays for itself and it makes sense.
But in this case, you got the Petal 1, right, where it goes 2% to 10% depending on what kind of card you get, when you get the offer.
And then the Petal 1 Rise, you know, you get an annual membership fee of 59. I'm assuming the Petal 1 Rise has significantly more benefits where they're charging you an annual fee.
And then the cashback can also range between 2% to 10%.
So if you scroll down, then it gives you the different perks.
So let's see here.
So you can get a cash back near you.
Keep going.
I think also with this card too, the app is what helps you because it keeps track of all your spending.
You can track your credit score.
Which by the way guys, again, most credit card companies, when you get a credit card with them, they will give you a credit score tracker with an app.
So that will allow you to do it.
But yeah, if this is your first credit card, it will allow you to do that.
So then it shows you the different benefits, right?
So you got pedal one, pedal one rise.
You got the benefits, right?
So you can use that as like merchants with the cashback.
No foreign fees.
That's actually good.
So foreign fee, guys, is if you go to like, let's say you go to Europe, right, and use this credit card, they're not going to charge you a foreign transaction fee, which is very common among a lot of cards.
Yeah.
I would argue that most cards are going to charge you.
Yeah, most of them will charge you, yeah.
Travel cards typically will not, but yeah, that's good that this beginner credit card is not charging you a foreign transaction fee, which is good.
And then the Milestone Gold MasterCard, so I guess that's like their premier card here, the highest version of this.
So you can use it all transactions, and then it has a variable rate of 35%, which that makes sense.
But this one does not give cash back.
Let's see here.
That seems pretty high, though.
Yeah, there's got to be some other perk then if they're not giving you cash back.
Seems like it kind of sucks, bro.
Damn.
Might be.
I don't want that shit.
Oh, man.
Yes, the pedal one seems like the best one.
Pedal one.
Yeah, for the beginners.
Yeah, if I'm going to say.
By the way, we're not paid by them.
Yeah, none of these niggas are paying us, Chad.
We're just giving you guys the...
The sauce.
Yeah, we're just telling you guys, like, these are good beginner credit cards for you guys.
Obviously, in this case, you know, you get the Petal 1, no annual fee.
Get it fairly easily.
You probably get approved.
And this is a card that's used, and you can track your credit score as well, which is very important.
Well, hopefully you've been watching our show for four years plus, watching these credit card episodes, so you're not here.
But if you are, we got you guys still.
Oh, look, no credit.
No credit check required.
Wow.
Actually, Bills, go to take over real quick.
I have an actual chart of the credit score rating.
This is good because you don't even need a credit check.
You just get the card instantly.
That's good.
That's good.
So you get it given.
That's pretty good.
But typically, you need a good or fair score to get the other beginner cards.
So good and fair is between, I believe, 550 to like 650.
Here we go.
Someone in the chat said they got a 310.
That nigga's cooked.
Bro, you got a 310.
You can get the paddle, I think.
It happens, man.
You can rebuild, brother.
It's not the end of the world, but you're kind of cooked, bro.
I'm not going to lie.
But yeah, guys, this is the actual chart here from Fico's Arranges.
And again, this is pretty average, but below 580, bro, you're kind of cooked, bro.
I'm not going to lie.
So, yeah.
What do you normally owe when your credit score is that low?
Because you didn't pay medical bills, maybe, or credit cards in the past?
Anytime I've seen someone with a credit score that low, bro, they don't even know half the time.
Yeah.
They got something in collections that they didn't know about.
They got an ambulance they forgot about 10 years ago.
Bro, I was so scared about my credit score, bro.
I would check it every day on Credit Karma.
Every day.
FICO, Credit Karma.
And if it went down, I'd be like, what the fuck did I do?
Because I was anal about it.
Pause.
But I'll tell you this, though.
Your credit score by Liz Weston was amazing.
Because from 0 to 850, they broke it down.
How to do it.
When to do it.
And of course, if you're new to game guys for credit cards, it's tough because you don't know how you work in it.
But if you do it correctly, you can make it work.
And let me be clear about this, by the way.
Guys, all these credit cards that we're about to show y 'all are kind of trash.
I'm not even going to lie to you guys.
These niggas aren't paying us, so we can tell you guys the fucking truth.
A lot of these credit cards, these beginner credit cards, are fucking garbage.
But here's the thing.
A lot of you niggas got garbage credit scores, so we got to give you guys cards that you guys can actually get because you niggas are idiots with your credit.
Right?
Look, I got to give you a stern talking to a little bit.
The reason why...
We have to show you guys these cards that, quite frankly, I would never be fucking caught dead with in my wallet.
It's because a lot of y 'all niggas got sorry-ass credit scores or no credit, so we have to give you guys credit cards that you can qualify for, that you can get so that you can build your credit up.
This pedal shit, I ain't gonna lie.
Garbage.
But for someone that has no credit score, bro, you need this.
You need to start somewhere.
I'll give you one leeway.
Like the pedal one, for example?
You don't even gotta do a credit check.
You don't even gotta do a check.
That's crazy.
Scam Central.
Yo, that's crazy.
But I will say this, though.
If you were in an accident, And you need ambulance or fire service, and you didn't know, you needed to pay, you got a bill, and then they put it in delinquency, then you can cut because at that point, you lose your...
Yeah, but niggas will know what their credit...
But these niggas don't even check 9 out of 10 times.
True, true.
Like, USC or low credit score will be like, why is this?
And then if you go through it, it'll tell you something isn't collected.
You can call them, and they'll tell you, oh yeah, we got it from a hospital.
Yeah.
So, like, yeah, a lot of times people don't know, but not only do they not know, they don't even check.
Whenever I see someone, like, in the 400s or 300s...
It's like they got some delinquent and they don't even know or care.
I said yesterday.
I'm not paranoid about it.
Personal score.
Business score is different.
Well, that doesn't matter.
So yeah, guys, these cards that we're showing you, Secure It, Pedal, whatever, these cards are strictly for you to get your credit score to an acceptable level so you can go ahead and get a real card.
We don't want y 'all having this shit forever.
The goal here is, let's say you get to discover it.
You open it up, get your credit score up.
Once you get into the 700s, cool.
Then you apply, get a real credit card.
Now, really important, guys, really, really important.
Do not cancel that card, okay?
Don't do that.
A lot of you guys have done that shit.
Oh, yeah, bro, I'm just going to close out this card.
I don't need no more.
I got my score up.
Well, what happens is your credit history gets cut in half, and that drops your score.
So keep the old cards that got you to that point.
Do not cancel them, guys.
Right now, to this day, I still got this old-ass...
MasterCard with Van Gogh.
Niggas charged me $30 a year for it.
Useless.
But it's my oldest credit account, so I keep it open.
Also, keep in mind, you can have a credit card that you have for years, but if you don't use it within a year, it will close.
Guys, be careful.
So imagine this, right?
The card you have for years is one of your pinnacle things for building your credit score.
You have it in your repertoire.
It's there.
But, you know what?
You got new cards, so you put it to the side.
You don't use it for like a year.
Well, companies say, you know what?
We're not using it, so we'll take it off your credit completely.
You don't want that, bro.
Have it always be used either by a sister or a friend of somebody so that you can use it and keep it in your actual usage because if you don't use it, they will take it away and you will lose it.
So guys, also as well, man, with credit cards, yes, they may be old, but use them once a year at least so you can keep it within that range of having usage of those cards, at least.
I almost canceled an old credit card because of that.
If I didn't listen.
Yeah, yeah, that will mess you up.
Yeah, it will.
Do not cancel that whole credit card, guys.
So once you get this pedal or secure it or whatever, we laugh at you, you know, for having that poverty card.
That's fine, but don't cancel it, bro.
Hide that shit in your drawer somewhere, okay?
After you're done.
Yo, David, you bum-ass nigga, bro.
How'd I pay for fucking escorts with credit cards, nigga?
Are you retarded?
Nigga, shut the fuck up, bro.
He's talking about credit cards.
Bro, are you dumb?
Nigga, are you dumb?
What do you swipe on the butt crack?
You must be like, swipe?
How's that even work, bro?
This nigga dumb, bro.
Wait, who said that?
Niggas said I paid for escorts for fucking credit cards, bro.
Come on, man.
David Nero 1K, nigga.
Oh, David Nero.
That nigga's a hater, bro.
He's not a trap, man.
Bro, this is helping niggas with value.
We're talking about fucking escorts, nigga.
Bro.
Anyhow.
I wish you'd paid that, bitch.
We wouldn't be having all these headaches.
You scanned a chip on the butt crack.
In first pay, we wouldn't be having all these problems, nigga.
I'm not going to hold you, bro.
Coach was right.
Coach was right, bro.
It makes it easier.
Holy.
Alright, what's the next one, man?
Y 'all want to do the Pedal 2 as well?
Uh, Pedal 2?
Uh, bro, I'm not gonna hold you.
Pedal 2 sucks.
Pedal 1's the best one, bro.
I mean, like I said, just, yeah, the Pedal 1 is the best for the usage, like, for being a beginner.
Yeah.
So, yeah, man, get the Pedal 1, guys.
You want to move up to the Pedal 2, it might be the next way to move up, which is fine.
Yeah.
But the goal is, you don't want to be holding on to any of these cards more than two years, bro.
Like, the goal is to build up your credit where you don't need this shit no more.
Okay, what's the next card?
I pay it off every month if you can.
Okay, now we're on a Capital One card.
Expired.
That's a bad sign.
This one is the saver, right?
For students, yeah.
Okay, go over this one first.
Yeah, guys, so again, if you're a student, man, hopefully your parents bless you with a credit card and you're smart to use it.
But again, what happens is people go to parties, they buy dumb stuff, and they don't pay it off.
And then they wonder why when they're 25, 26, 27 years old, why are they not able to buy a house?
Because he didn't pay off a credit card in school.
But, let's look at this card right here as a saver.
So, it's a beginner card.
It's pretty basic.
Let's see here.
So much information.
Click the application.
That's the card itself?
Yeah, click the benefits.
Yeah, Capital One is a good company to go with.
My first credit card was Capital One.
Which one?
The Van Gogh one I told you about.
Oh.
We don't even know what the hell it's called, bro.
It's literally just a...
It was just like it had the Starry Night picture.
They change the names like every other cycle.
Same page, huh?
There we go.
Save reward for students.
Now, these student credit cards, guys, tend to be really good for building up your credit as well.
Another glitch for you guys is look at student credit cards.
Also, if you're on campus, it's perfect because now you can spend it on all amenities.
For example, the store.
Maybe, for example, a dinner spot there.
Or even, for example, you, which a guy is doing events.
And again, as usual, at least you get some cash back.
It does the bullshit rotating, which I don't like.
But again, for a beginner credit card, pretty good.
And for students, so obviously they're going to be sensitive to the fact that you might not have as much money, etc.
And then you can also get popular streaming services, zero annual fee, which is very good.
And then you get a $50 cash bonus, which is pretty damn good for a beginner credit card, bro.
Man, now they're making these beginner credit cards really good.
You know why?
Why?
They want people to be trapped.
Probably, yeah.
You start early.
You don't know how to use it properly.
Bro, I got none of these benefits when I started, bro.
They just gave you a credit card and said, you better pay it on full or else we're going to cook you with the interest rates.
They do those, bro.
Yeah, they do.
Yeah.
Okay, look at the rewards.
3% cash back, like you said before.
New card member offer.
$50 extra cash bonus.
That's not bad.
We got to spend $100 within 3 months of opening your account.
Actually, with my Chase Freedom of Card, I spent, I think it was like $1,000 within that month, or $500.
I got like $250 back.
That was pretty good, actually.
$50 for $100.
Not bad.
And then, what's the next category?
It's not a bad card, but again, I...
Ah, bruh.
These new cards, bro.
Yeah, no foreign fees, which isn't bad either.
If you travel for a school trip or something like that, not bad.
And then rewards don't expire.
Oh, that's a good one, actually.
So typically speaking, when you use a card, no matter what it is, there's a limit to the points itself.
You've got to use it for a certain category.
Good cards never take your points away, but, you know, like these middle-of-the-road cards that will.
So the fact that this is a beginner card and they will not take your points away is good.
And no foreign transaction fees is really good too, especially for you guys that want to study abroad and shit like that.
All you girls that want to be whores in Italy, you guys can go ahead and be whores without having to worry about transaction fees.
Also, hopefully you don't have a girlfriend, but if you don't have a girlfriend, you want to travel her, get your points.
But yeah, that's pretty good.
They don't take away your points at the very beginning.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Because a lot of them will take your points away.
Or they have blackout dates where you can't use your points on certain days.
This one might, since they're not mentioning it, might have blackout dates.
But no foreign transaction fees and then not taking your points is a big deal for a beginner credit card like this.
And cashback?
You can't beat it.
Yeah.
Bruh, this is crazy that these beginner cards give you guys perks.
What the fuck, man?
This is bullshit.
I want to see advanced cards now.
Bro, when I started with these beginner cards, like, oh, you didn't get none of this shit.
Bro, I think, well, actually, there's a video we're gonna play so you can see how bad- Also, it's because the credit card game is getting way more competitive.
Yes.
Also.
Yes.
Very competitive.
Yeah, yeah, dude.
Yeah, that's why every time we do this episode, guys, we have to, like, go to the website.
I know some of y 'all niggas say, oh, y 'all lazy, you just show us the website.
Yeah, nigga, because that's the only way you'll know what the perks are, dumb fuck.
They're constantly changing the perks and the benefits and the negatives of each card because they're so goddamn competitive, guys.
Okay?
So we have to go on their website to show you guys what the actual stuff is.
And just so you know, in about a month or two, these might not even be the perks anymore.
They're gonna change.
They're gonna change.
So, they're always changing up the terms of service, etc.
They're constantly nerfing cards, increasing other cards.
So, that's what's happening, man.
Use it wisely.
What's the next one?
That's a good one, man.
If you're a student.
Okay.
Double cash.
This is where we start to get into good cards now.
I'm surprised.
How did this one get on the list?
Well, this is the last one.
Kind of like a bonus.
Okay.
This is one of the best cashback cards.
To be honest with y 'all, this is one of the best cashback cards, period.
Yeah.
So you get 2% cashback unlimited, which means anything you buy.
Groceries, gas, doesn't matter.
Also, you get $200 cashback after spending $1,500 within six months.
That's not bad either.
You just pay for your gas, pay for your regular bills if you can, and then before you know it, you got $200 cashback in your account.
Not bad.
For spending money, you'll spend anyway.
Yeah.
Also, so we got unlimited and then plus.
Over there.
5% cashback on select city travel bookings.
So that's not bad either.
You can travel somewhere with family, like I said before.
It can get back there as well.
5%, which is a little bit higher.
And then, let's see down below.
Redeem a direct deposit.
Okay.
Save my credit.
And APR, of course, is going to be high as usual.
Yeah, they always are.
Guys, you're always going to have high interest rates.
I don't even look at APR.
It's always going to be somewhere between 20% to damn near 40%.
And the reason why, guys, is because that's just credit cards.
They look at it like, oh, we're giving you money up front.
We're going to kill you on interest rates.
So this is why you pay in full every month, guys.
Always pay in full every month.
When they get more advanced, they give you 0% APR.
For a year or so.
You can go ahead, you can balance transfer, you open up a new credit card for a year and a half, you can just let it rock and sit with a balance, even though I don't suggest doing that, but it is a financial strategy that you can employ.
So yeah, in general, you should be paying it off in full unless you've got some kind of offer where they're allowing you to enjoy no APR.
A lot of times it's an introduction period where for the first year to two years, they won't charge you.
You know, interest rates.
Yeah.
When you open up.
I'm curious to know everyone's credit score, though.
What's that now?
Because, uh...
Man, some of y 'all are cooked, man.
300 is crazy, bro.
Yeah, someone earlier in the show said 310.
Damn.
And they were cooking them in the chat.
It was kind of funny.
310 is wild, bro.
What'd you do, bro?
What'd you actually do, man?
That's bad.
That nigga...
Bro, he didn't pay bills for like...
There's niggas in prison that probably been in for 20 years that got a better score than that.
Damn.
That's tough.
Alright.
What the fuck?
What's the next one?
Or is that the last one?
Oh, and we got Quicksilver One.
Again, Capital One.
Pretty good starter company.
Let's see down below.
Yeah, Capital One has a good amount of beginner cards.
Same thing?
Okay.
Yeah, they're all changing their terms and their actual value, so...
And then, just so you guys know, we're going to absolutely do an episode on best cashback cards, best travel credit cards.
And advanced cards.
Best business credit cards, you know, when we get into stuff.
But obviously we need to do the, you know, best beginner slash no to low credit score cards, which are these.
Something between 610 and 790 from the guys putting in the chat.
That's pretty good.
For this one?
No, for these people in the chat saying what their score is.
Oh, okay, okay, okay.
It's not bad.
Yeah, so y 'all could get any of these cards here that we mentioned then.
But 610, I ain't going to lie, it's kind of trash.
You need to up that.
Bro, guys, you should be in the 700s at least, man.
If you want to...
And definitely don't apply for a loan with anything under a 720.
They're going to...
I mean, if someone tries to buy a car with a 610...
So, right now, the car market is in shambles.
The actual car market is so backed up with debt.
Dude, actually, if I'm correct, I'm a little bit off here.
The total debt is $1.7 trillion.
For cars?
0.7 trillion.
So what if someone had like a 610 and they tried to buy a car now with their credit score?
Well...
Would they even get decent?
Would they get a good offer?
You can get a car, my friend.
But the rate itself and your payment...
I'll give you an example.
I can have a credit score of 740.
I can buy a Mercedes-Benz.
Let's say C-Class.
My payment is going to be maybe 350.
You can go with a 610 credit score.
For a Toyota Corolla, I pay 400.
So I'm paying less money for a Mercedes who's high class and a Toyota by 50 bucks less, you're paying $400 for a Toyota.
Well, credit scores really do affect you with cars.
It doesn't matter, bro.
And remember, the term of the loan, even longer because now, it's because your score is so low.
So I think for most people, wait for the score to be high and then buy.
For cars, that's even worse, man.
But in this marketplace, bro.
With a house, there's ways around having shitty credit.
With a car, it doesn't seem like it.
Nah, dude, you're cucked, bro.
And it's buy here, pay here.
Which means you buy it on the spot and you pay here.
So those companies are so sleazy because they know you can't have a car from your credit score.
So I'll give you a car.
No problem, buddy.
But it's going to be a shitty car.
Barely fixed.
And as well, you need me because you can't go anywhere else.
So now they got you by the ball spot.
When you say buy here, pay here, what does that mean?
That's the term for those places that sell the cars that are very sleazy.
Oh, okay.
The sleazy places.
Because you're buying here and you're paying for it at the same time.
Okay.
Long term.
So that's what I get you.
See, man, that's why y 'all better...
Yo, just buy a piece of shit car and own it for life, guys.
Yeah.
That's what I did.
So...
I'll tell you this.
From my experience, my real experience, man.
Listen, I can hold the L on this one.
It's better to have a car paid off in cash.
Buying a car, financing, bro.
Even leasing.
Okay, business, leasing, it's okay.
But buying and financing, bro, cooked.
Because you know what's funny about dealers now?
They don't make money from actual cars.
It's from the actual loan.
That's how I make money now.
Oh, that makes sense.
So they say, oh, no, bro.
I'll lower the price of the car.
They don't care.
But when they get you the loan, oh, you're cooked because you can't leave it.
Remember, to leave, you got to pay it off.
And if you don't pay it off, they're going to sue your ass and take all your wages from there on out once you pay it off.
So they win no matter what.
And they get the car back.
So when you sign for a car nowadays, guys, if you don't know how to pay that car off, you're cooked.
Bro.
Trash, man.
Save your money, man.
Absolutely trash.
All right.
And then we got a video to play as well after this card.
So, Chris Silver 1 for Capital 1. Let's see here.
What is that on this one, Bills?
Oh, so this one takes a fair score.
So, guys, again, show them the chart again for scores.
So, regarding scores itself, guys, it's from 0 to 850.
For this card, you need a fair score.
So, if you've got a 310, this card's not for you.
So, between a fair and good, which is 580 to 669, you can get this card.
But if you're lower than that...
You're cooked on that card because it's a little bit higher on the threshold for getting actual rates.
And then, let's go back to the card, if you don't mind.
Alright, so, fair.
Unlimited rewards.
So, 1.5 cashback on every purchase.
And it'll feed $39.
Purchase rate.
Okay.
APR is what it is.
Yeah, and this, again, this is going to be a higher-end good card.
So, look, the Citi cashback and this card, guys, these are cards that you can actually keep long-term.
Yeah.
If you're able to get these cards, Like, these are cards that you can actually get.
See how we worked our way up?
So we had to discover it, kind of sucks.
Pedal 1, sucks.
Saver, a bit better.
Now we're at the Quicksilver and the City Cash.
These are cards that you can actually keep long-term.
And there's better versions of the Quicksilver where you can get 2% cash back, etc.
So these are cards that you can actually keep long-term, but obviously you're going to need to have a higher credit score to get these.
But this is still considered a beginner card in the grand scheme of things, which goes to show, man, how competitive things are.
This used to be a really good card, but now they've kind of lowered their standards where even someone with a lower credit score can get this card, and the other cards have just gotten better.
Right?
The higher-end cards just provide so much goddamn value now.
It's so competitive now.
So competitive, man.
So this card is actually a good card.
What is it?
1.5% cashback, if I'm not mistaken?
On everything, right?
That's not bad.
I like 2%, but again, this is a beginner card.
So 1.5% on everything for a beginner is pretty damn good.
Yeah, that one's better, actually.
2% is crazy.
The same things here, guys, for the actual benefits.
Credit line.
Credit line, credit wise.
Same thing, pretty much.
On every purchase, that's good.
Get access.
This is just a straight cash back credit card, pretty much.
You get the fraud liability.
Obviously, a lot of supply for it.
This one, you're probably going to need like a 600 to 700 range to get it.
Credit score level fair.
But hopefully, you've been watching the show and you don't have these cards.
You don't even get these cards.
But if you do, then here you go.
Again, the ridges are here for what's good and what's bad.
Hopefully, you're feeling very good to exceptional.
If not, you got some work to do on your card, on your score.
All right?
End of the video.
If you don't mind, Bills?
So, guys, the marketplace now is corrupt because that is at an all-time high.
And the problem is Americans are stuck either with no savings and any credit cards to survive, which understandably, times are hard.
However, hopefully this is not you, because if this is you, my friend, what's coming with AI is going to be even worse.
Let's play a video of those bills, if you don't mind, to kind of highlight this in real time, what's happening in American society.
There we go.
card debt.
All right.
Let's talk about it.
So let's talk about my credit card debt so you feel better about your finances.
Let's do the other one first, just so they can see the actual numbers with the debt itself.
Who is this guy?
What is the video background?
So this is JJ.
He does, for example, debt advice, how to pay after a card, about car payments, all this stuff.
He's covered it for quite some time, too, as well.
Good YouTuber.
Shout out to him.
And he's breaking down how people have stuck themselves in debt so far gone.
It's, like, crazy.
All right.
The other way, guys, also not to have a girlfriend.
That helps, as well, with saving money.
True.
A lot of money.
Yeah, the other one, yeah.
Well, women are 80% of the consumer base.
It's all women on TikTok saying, I got some debt on me now.
I can't want to pay it off.
Alright, bro.
I am currently in $133,000 in debt.
Come on, 2024.
Wait.
What'd you stop it?
Not as a rich person, but just as a financially irresponsible 25-year-old.
Americans' credit card balances have hit an all-time high of more than $1.2 trillion.
Okay, so today we have another round of insane credit card debt to look into.
With the overall household debt climbing to $18 trillion recently, and the average credit card debt per person for Gen Z is $3,400.
That's crazy, bro.
This is Dr. Rios.
But, these are the numbers, man.
For this year alone.
Crazy.
So, imagine you're 18-year-olds with 3-4k in debt.
With no job.
How do you pay that shit off, bro?
Like, you're cooked!
And then, hopefully, if you do get your degree and you get a job, then you're in debt from the very beginning, starting out.
So, yeah, man.
It's kind of scary when you see the numbers.
But, yeah.
His video's really good, guys.
Check it out.
It's the full video.
But, like, breaking it down.
Step by step, people are in trouble, bro.
All over America.
Alright, we'll play the next video in more context.
Some examples here.
Credit card debt.
Let's talk about it.
So let's talk about my credit card debt so you feel better about your finances.
I am currently, as of this morning, have...
$55,399 of credit card debt.
And that is across seven different credit cards.
So let's go through each of them.
Bro, how are you ugly and 55k in debt as a female, bro?
That's cooked.
Holy. I got me on that credit there, man.
There's one girl that said, F it.
Quit my job traveling the world on her credit card.
She came back and said, oh my god, I don't know what to do.
I'm like, so stupid, bro.
You're traveling in Europe for six months a year on your credit card.
Can you imagine some nigga said, oh yeah, bro, I'm going to go travel the world.
How are you going to pay for it?
I'm just going to travel the world.
We would ridicule that motherfucker.
Like, you fucking dumbass.
You're going to come back and be fucking broke and in crazy debt.
Women, though, do that shit all the time.
I'm just going to feel free.
Yeah!
Goddamn, man.
But that's the new norm, man.
That's the new norm.
Fucking retards, man.
Look, bro.
Look, man.
Niggas are asking for their rights, man.
Like, bro, this...
I tweeted this the other day.
It went viral on X, man.
We need to go back and make women second-class citizens again, man.
Goddamn, bro.
Niggas are retarded, bro.
Like, just...
Yeah, I just gotta travel, live my best life!
Stupid, man.
What's the last time you seen niggas say, I'm just gonna travel, live my best life, and go with debt?
We ridiculed that motherfucker, bro.
Into...
Like, literally, we would...
We would make fun of them so much you would fucking cry.
Women though?
No.
It's like, oh yeah, sure girl, go do your thing.
How you gonna pay for it though?
I don't figure it out.
Okay, yeah.
Enable the stupidity, bro.
Student loans as well?
Bro, incredible, man.
Fucking idiots.
Anyway.
You know what we need?
We need a show after hours where girls are all in debt.
They always are.
No, but we can talk about their debts alone.
Cook them.
All of them are, man.
Yeah.
It's true.
Every girl's in crazy debt, bro.
It's crazy.
Credit karma on stream?
Credit karma.
Episode name.
This bitch is over here saying she got 55k in debt, bro.
This shit crazy.
Yeah, she's ugly.
That's cooked.
Bill said displaying their credit karma on stream.
Mandatory.
Facts.
Alright, let's see.
This one right here, this is actually a balance transfer from City Cards, and this currently has $2,070 on it.
This will be the first one I actually pay off because this zero balance actually ends in June of this year.
That will be a priority as of right now.
Number two is actually...
So she's saying basically this card she just showed, after a couple months, it'll end the 0% no APR for that year, which means you don't pay any interest for that year.
At all.
Once it ends, they tap on that heavy.
Yep.
So she should pay it off as soon as possible.
All right.
Hair credit through Symphony Bank and this currently has $6,439 on it.
Now we got this one last August when our dog had to get surgery to remove underwear from her stomach.
That was a really big blow on our credit payoff journey because it added about $9,000 to our credit card debt.
Number three here is another city card and this one has $13,754 on it.
So the next two I have actually really, really hurt, and this is where the majority of our debt is.
So the next one I have is Williams-Sonoma, and this one has $17,863 on it.
Do you know what that is, Williams?
No.
What is that?
It's a store.
Bro, I kid you not.
What the hell do they sell there?
I cannot tell you that if she has $17,000 on that store alone, bro, dude, that is scary.
Sounds too rich for you.
Sounds too rich for you.
Let's see here.
Let's pull up their store real quick.
So guys, they sell basically cooking and dishware for your home.
And it's between $100 to like, you know, probably a bunch of bucks typically.
But what she bought, bro, 70k total is insane.
Like, I don't know what she bought, bro.
I'm in a store.
Okay, shop now.
Bro, I mentioned about furniture too, or something, but I don't know.
Bro, dinnerware, like, dude, 17K is insane.
What'd she buy?
Yeah, I don't know.
And her dog swallows, I guess, a diaper or something.
What the hell?
This?
Yeah, dude, that's what it is.
So imagine that, 17K, here alone?
Bro, what are you buying?
It better be a culinary business.
Nah, bro.
I don't know, bro.
Well, it's flopping, obviously.
Look, whatever business that is, that thing...
Look, I see a dinner were set here.
How did you get 17k?
I don't know.
But again, this is the death of Americans, bro.
Incredible.
We can continue, then we'll end it off shortly.
Someone said, at least she's in the kitchen.
That is funny.
At least she in the kitchen?
Yeah, she's, uh...
70K deep, though.
She could've went to Walmart, bro.
And the last one that I have here is Wells Fargo, and this is my oldest credit card, and I have had this since I was 19 years old.
How do you have 25K?
Bro.
How does she have 25K?
Bro.
Chat, listen to this carefully.
You meet woman, hopefully not like this.
She's beautiful, she's amazing, but you don't know.
The whole facts are the credit facts.
And the whole facts is bad.
Credit facts, if you marry her, it's going to be none of your facts.
And at the same time, bro, that is insane.
I'm not just marrying her, bro.
She's normally bad.
But that's $70,000 basically.
Sorry, no.
$50,000 basically in debt.
But you got to help her pay off.
Hopefully as a good husband.
Wink, wink.
Cooked, bro.
You cooked.
But that's the typical American woman today.
My forehead bigger than my stomach.
Imagine that.
$70,000.
In a dishware store.
I don't even know how you racked that up, bro.
That's retarded.
No, that's the other credit card.
But hopefully she pisses it off.
Maybe she won't.
But you as a man, though, you need to pay your shit off, bro.
Because no one's going to marry you and pay your shit off.
Hell no.
You ain't going to get rescued.
No way.
She said we.
A lot of you niggas, you're in your debt.
It'll just be you.
You.
No, we.
We?
No, you.
Don't give the benefit of saying we.
A lot of you niggas, it's just going to be you.
We?
You went to me.
That's what it's going to be.
Myra, we?
You went to France?
It was fresh, man.
That's all it's going to be, man.
Crazy.
But yeah, it's a little bit longer, but we can stop it there.
But yeah, guys.
Credit's important.
Don't be late, her.
Build your score up.
Start small.
Build it up successfully.
And a tip I said earlier is have one of your parents hopefully put you on your credit card to build it up organically as well.
Yeah, being an authorized user, that's very important, guys.
Being an authorized user is a great way to get your way in.
And then also alongside having these beginner credit cards.
And just understand, man, if you don't get your credit on point, guys, you're not going to be able to get real estate, which is going to be, we know, 90% plus of millionaires make their wealth off of real estate, man.
So if you guys want to really have a financial future and be able to...
Get real assets.
You're going to need to have a good credit score.
Especially when it comes to real estate.
Unless you want to buy all your shit cash like a drug dealer.
But you're not going to be able to get loans.
Go ahead, Fresh.
Alright.
You want me to do this one?
I can do this one.
Alright, you got the next one.
1775 Coffee, guys.
Most coffee out there?
Straight trash.
Brewed by corporations more worried about virtue signals than flavor.
And it tastes like a 1775 Coffee is different.
It's a single-origin, mold-free, toxin-free, woke-free, and roasted fresh every week in Miami.
How you start your day is how you live your life.
If your coffee is low-quality or watered down, your standards are probably two.
Go to 1775coffee.com, use the code FRESH, and get 15% off.
Again, 1775coffee.com, use code FRESH.
Drink coffee that hits your standards as it should, hard, clean, and unapologetic.
Sorry, guys, I'm blind.
By the way, Last month, month before, like we told you, one of you is possibly winning the Cybertruck.
Just gonna say, and 30k cash.
So WTU the winner, but that's for you guys, man.
So WTU, y 'all niggas that win.
We will soon know.
Gaz, are there any CC you would recommend or credit cards you recommend for people in the UK or abroad in general?
If not, can you bring someone in for it?
Brother Darkness, I believe in your networking abilities to find someone.
P.S. When is Nate Bumar coming on the show?
Tonight!
There you go.
After hours, yeah.
Wait, what?
Nate, coming on.
He's one of the guys for the conversation piece.
Girls and guys.
There you go.
We got you guys, man.
Oh, shit, I forgot it's regular girls today.
Huh?
I completely forgot that it's regular girls versus guys.
I completely forgot about that.
Shit.
Discover.
It's a great card to have.
Discover is owned by Capital One, which means as a starter, you build history to be able to get into Capital Cards easier.
Good point.
So, boosted?
Grimly.
Should I incorporate the same advice from the beginner credit cards into rebuilding my credit?
I mean, you can, bro, but honestly speaking, bro, what's your score?
Because that'll say a lot about what you need to do at this point.
Mario, you could relax a little bit tonight, then.
Yeah, yeah.
Fresh running.
Nice.
Okay.
Wresting Myron!
Fresh start.
Josiah B19.
After y 'all finish talking about credit cards, could you give your predictions on the housing market after all these tariffs?
APR back down to good old 2-3% like in 2020, WFNF.
Ooh, tariffs, man.
What do you think, bro?
Housing market?
Well...
Here's the thing, man.
I don't think the housing market depends too much on tariffs, man, to be honest with you, which is kind of a good thing because the real estate market, obviously, everything affects each other, but what I'm trying to say is that I don't think it affects it that much.
We'll see what happens, though.
That's more on the interest rates.
We'll have to see.
I know the interest rates have come down a little bit.
That was actually Trump's goal coming in, was to try to bring the interest rates down so that when money is cheaper, people tend to take more...
Risky investment things.
They're more willing to, you know, obviously buy houses.
They're more willing to invest in their businesses when interest rates are lower because then they could go ahead and get debt for cheap.
So we'll see what happens, man.
Are we going to get back down to 3% interest rates?
Fuck no.
But I do think that the tariffs absolutely do play a role to some degree in interest rates coming down.
I don't think it's going to play that much of a role, but it did come down a little bit.
So we'll see what happens, man.
We'll see what happens.
But I do think that the tariff situation, good idea, implemented poorly though, man.
And I did a whole explanation with this with George Gammon, by the way, on the debrief.
If you guys want to, you know, check that out.
We went over that in detail with the tariffs, how it kind of backfired.
Good idea, but Trump and his team implemented it totally wrong, man.
Unfortunately.
What's the next call in?
Ninjas need help.
We got a Zoom call, actually, this week.
Oh, Wednesday.
Yeah, Wednesday.
Well, let's do it Thursday because I won't be here.
No, you can run it.
That's fine.
You can run it.
But however you guys want to do it.
All right.
Yeah, we haven't done the call-in show in a bit.
I mean, I guess we could.
It's coming up.
Will I be here?
Sabaton on Friday.
Oh, Sabaton is Friday.
So yeah, we could do a portion of a call-in for you guys.
Yeah.
Yeah, we could actually make it a portion.
So all you hater niggas who call in, I know a lot of y 'all got shit to say.
I'll still never understand how...
Bro, we have a lot of haters watch our shit, man.
It's good, though.
Well, uh...
Bills.
My Twitter real quick.
A great man once said something very important about haters.
No, it's fine.
Some of the criticism is actually good.
Some of it is good.
It makes us better.
But a lot of y 'all just be hating out of nowhere.
But some of the criticism is very valid and very good.
Go to my Twitter, Bills.
If you don't mind.
The last video.
Posted.
That's a weird background, nigga.
Yes.
That shit trash.
Huh?
This one?
That background.
Weird, man.
Oh, no.
What is that?
The one above.
The one above.
Who's this?
Eric Spofford.
Oh.
You broke it down very good.
Y 'all ready to play?
Yeah.
Let's play it.
When you have haters, it is a sign that you are doing something right.
Smile and be thankful.
Because the only thing worse than having haters is fucking not having haters.
Their criticism, their judgment, their slander hurts.
That will go away over time.
But in the beginning, you take that energy, you ball it up, and you turn it into fuel.
And you work your fucking face off.
And it will no longer bother you.
And you will have the success.
That you have earned over time.
And stuff that success right down their throat.
And I promise you, it will feel sweet.
And it will be worth every single moment.
When you have hate...
True.
Who's this?
Eric Spofford.
Used to be with Wes Watson back in the day.
Wes Watson back in the day.
Pretty cool.
Never heard of him, but...
Alright.
What else we got here?
Alright, LJ.
Hey, FNF.
I'm wondering, for boosting my credit, how many credit cards should I aim to have?
And what are your guys' opinions on programs like Self and Credit Strong?
Typically, bro, anywhere between two to three.
Yep.
That's all you need, bro.
And then, I mean, there could companies as well.
You can obviously increase your card account from there.
Work away up to 10 to 20. But, I mean, do you really need that many?
It's up to you.
I mean, I just keep one card per use.
Some guys like to have two to three.
It's up to you how crazy you want to get with it.
Me, I like to keep, you know, an array of, like, four to five that I always have.
Yeah, max.
But some people like to have more.
I've seen, like, a lot of credit card YouTubers in, like, 20. 10, 15. I had the Amex lineup card, 210 points.
Any tips on spending them on a flight to Hawaii when my girl will trade in with an airline or another strategy?
Yeah, that's what you get it for, my friend.
You do it so that you can travel for free.
So, yeah.
You know what's scary?
Having all those points and then dying and not using them.
Is that your fear?
Use your points, nigga.
I knew it.
Hey, it's free money.
Hey, it's free money, nigga.
Think about it.
Think about this.
It's free money, bro.
It's free money.
It's free money.
But he needs it on the rainy day.
I have used them, but like this nigga.
Nah, you got millions of points.
I see it, bro.
I had to beg this nigga.
Bro, use the points, bro.
Bro, he don't use them, bro.
I said, yo, you know what?
It's a free trip, man.
This guy fresh man.
This guy's dying with points.
Bro, you got millions of points.
Mario, you already have the backup camera on your 2002 Accord, bro.
That's where it works, man.
It's bad.
Alright, what else do we got?
That's it?
You're good to go.
That's it?
Alright, you can use the points.
Can you tell them what they're expecting for tonight?
We're going to have...
Like last time, modern women versus modern...
Luke's brother.
Yeah.
Okay, so Nate Belmar is coming in.
Go ahead.
So we're going to have modern women versus modern men, a discussion, a game, and of course, maybe after a fresh match in between.
We'll see you guys in after hours.
Peace!
All right.
Let's go.
