[00:00:05] Wait. [00:00:05] Oh, you didn't know this. [00:00:08] Stop what you're saying to me right now. [00:00:11] I don't think this has an even illa in it. [00:00:13] You. [00:00:13] No, it does. [00:00:15] It's a tough one. [00:00:16] You need to look at me right fucking now. [00:00:18] You didn't know this. [00:00:21] He's been buying the coffees! [00:00:39] Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to another episode of the Fear and Podcast, where we have a very special guest. [00:00:48] Her name is Pokey Mane. [00:00:50] Welcome. [00:00:52] Welcome back to the Fear and Podcast, Pokey Mane. [00:00:54] And I would like to be the first to tell you, Happy Mother's Day. [00:00:58] Yeah. [00:00:58] That's actually why I'm here. [00:01:00] Thank you. [00:01:00] For the Mother's Day episode. [00:01:01] Yes. [00:01:01] So motherly. [00:01:03] The Clippers, get ready. [00:01:04] Yes. [00:01:04] Get ready. [00:01:05] Yes. [00:01:07] It's going to be like Rubet sponsored account. [00:01:09] Uh, with like 300,000 followers, Pokemane is pregnant and has 18 children already. [00:01:17] Oh, no, stop. [00:01:19] Thank you guys so much. [00:01:22] I think I've got to go. [00:01:24] Yeah, we can't. [00:01:24] Comedy is illegal. [00:01:27] First of all, yes, yeah, comedy is so illegal, it's never been more illegal than it is right now at this moment. [00:01:33] It's crazy. [00:01:35] Like, all of the Republicans that were like, uh, comedy is legal, what do you mean? [00:01:40] Oh, I hate woke. [00:01:41] They're all like. [00:01:43] You can't make a single goddamn joke. [00:01:44] How could you make a joke about Donald Trump? [00:01:46] We must kill you. [00:01:47] We must jail you. === Massaging the Truth About Bernie (04:07) === [00:01:50] They switched up on us. [00:01:51] Yeah, those clippers really do fucking love you, though. [00:01:54] Yeah. [00:01:55] They love everyone. [00:01:56] I keep falling for it, Pokey. [00:01:57] I need to stop. [00:01:59] I need to stop. [00:02:00] You are the worst. [00:02:00] I'm the worst, though. [00:02:01] Why did you fall for it? [00:02:03] Like, I literally asked her, I was like, are you okay when she got here today? [00:02:06] And you know what's crazy? [00:02:07] You're not the only one. [00:02:09] Yeah. [00:02:10] There was this, like, AI photo of me crying attached to some clip. [00:02:16] That was the one. [00:02:18] My own manager, one of my managers texted me and was like, Hey, are you okay? [00:02:22] I saw you really emotional on stream last night. [00:02:24] God damn. [00:02:25] And, you know, it was, I don't really check Twitter unless I'm like prompted to. [00:02:29] Yeah. [00:02:30] And so I was like, Oh, like they, I don't know, they must have seen something. [00:02:32] I didn't, I know I covered some sensitive topics, but I didn't recall being emotional. [00:02:37] So I was like, Not at all. [00:02:39] Not at all until I actually went on and I was like, I sent it to him and I was like, Was it this? [00:02:44] And he's like, Yeah. [00:02:45] And I was like, That's not actually me crying. [00:02:48] Oh, yeah, that's crazy. [00:02:50] I've realized back in the day, people would clickbait. [00:02:54] Obviously, it's always been the case, but nowadays, the new meta is just like taking a clip, lying, and just lying about the guy. [00:03:02] They're not even massaging the truth, they're not even trying anything. [00:03:04] They're not even massaging the truth. [00:03:06] They're not like, oh, brings up a controversial topic and is emotional. [00:03:09] Like, they'll just be like, in support of things that she is actually against in the clip. [00:03:15] And what's even crazier is they'll put the clip on there, so it'll be like, I've noticed this is something that they do with me all the time. [00:03:23] Where they'll put like a minute and 30 second rant that I go on, right? [00:03:26] So if you actually watch it, you're like, this is not at all what they said. [00:03:31] And at first I was like, oh, well, I'm glad that they put the whole thing, but no one watches the clip. [00:03:38] There's like two replies that are like, hey, did anyone watch this? [00:03:42] I don't think they said that. [00:03:43] Yeah, I scroll down to see. [00:03:45] I scroll down to see the one guy, hopefully, that's like, I actually watched a clip and it's saying the opposite thing that you're claiming. [00:03:53] Never. [00:03:55] It's like buried between like 18 different algorithmic hustlers from Bangladesh whose names are like Save the white race in the West 1488, you know? [00:04:06] An AI picture of you as Shocker from Spider Man. [00:04:09] Yeah, Kaya with like a dog. [00:04:10] Yeah, yeah, yeah. [00:04:11] It's just like, yeah, this guy. [00:04:14] I feel like I might be I might legitimately. [00:04:16] Marsh liked that one. [00:04:18] Yeah, I might legitimately be the most. [00:04:20] Yeah, I'm going to be the most famous guy in India because all the white supremacist accounts. [00:04:24] All the white supremacist accounts are like, oh, whenever. [00:04:27] Whenever we post about this guy, people, the voice turns daylight. [00:04:32] Because of the AI, because of the AI trash accounts. [00:04:36] They're like, oh, we could just keep making. [00:04:38] I'm imagining like an Indonesian content farm, and they're just sitting there. [00:04:44] They're like, I really don't know anything about this guy, but we just keep making these AI photos, and they love it. [00:04:50] They can't seem to get enough of it. [00:04:52] Okay, wait, I will add one other thing to the AI photo thingy. [00:04:54] Yeah. [00:04:55] The craziest part was when I saw it for a split second, I was like, Did I cry? [00:05:00] And I had like this tissue. [00:05:02] Yeah, and I was like, Did I have a tissue? [00:05:07] Oh, no. [00:05:08] Theory that they used a photo from my recent stream but maybe meshed it with a photo of me crying from like years ago, yeah. [00:05:17] So we looked like extra realistic. [00:05:18] I don't know. [00:05:19] I looked at it, I was like, I really had to think for a second. [00:05:22] You had cognitive dissonance. [00:05:23] I did. [00:05:24] Wow. [00:05:24] Also, when you have people around you being like, Are you okay? [00:05:27] You cried so much last year. [00:05:29] You're like, Dead. [00:05:31] Damn. [00:05:32] That's crazy. [00:05:33] We gotta get Bernie Sanders. [00:05:34] He's trying to do a moratorium on AI. [00:05:37] This is this is gonna be the main thing. [00:05:39] Yeah. [00:05:39] They're talking about like labor. [00:05:41] Uh, related incidents, you know, environment damage. [00:05:44] Yeah, boring. [00:05:45] There's Bernie. [00:05:46] What do you think about the clip farmers? [00:05:48] Can you please do something about them, Bernie? [00:05:51] I don't know what the fuck you're talking about. [00:05:53] No, he'll know, dude. [00:05:55] Wait till they start doing it on him, dude. === The Plane Engine Geese Incident (14:16) === [00:05:57] So, so I mean, how do you even when it's that like extreme, how can you can you issue like a cease and desist on that, or is there any protection against that? [00:06:07] I think it's pretty hard on Twitter, not just hard, but it's hard to measure the return. [00:06:13] On your investment, time wise and financially, when it comes to just it's like playing um whack a mole, yeah, you know, you delete one, you get one tweet deleted, there's another that pops up. [00:06:23] There's so I just try to go the route of like educating people hey, maybe watch the clips, yeah, and double check things to make sure, or just don't believe anything you see on Twitter, really. [00:06:35] Yeah, but problem is, a lot of people are very excited to believe everything they see on Twitter, they're like, wait, I said two cappuccinos. [00:06:45] I'm sorry. [00:06:46] I thought I ordered that. [00:06:47] What I thought I ordered it. [00:06:52] Oh, there. [00:06:52] I told you I got you two cappuccinos. [00:06:54] You didn't give me shit. [00:06:55] What? [00:06:56] Okay. [00:06:57] You're making this. [00:06:59] I bought these. [00:07:01] I can't believe that for the longest time you have been making it seem like you're actually getting. [00:07:06] Wait. [00:07:07] Oh, you didn't know this. [00:07:09] Stop what you're saying to me right now. [00:07:12] I don't think this has an evenilla in it. [00:07:14] You know, you need to look at me right. [00:07:19] Fucking laugh. [00:07:19] You didn't know this. [00:07:23] He's been buying the coffees? [00:07:25] Well, you rat fuck. [00:07:30] No, no, no. [00:07:31] You will sit there and you will let. [00:07:33] No. [00:07:33] Yeah, no, it's true. [00:07:34] No. [00:07:34] Four months. [00:07:35] No, not for months. [00:07:37] No, not for months. [00:07:38] Only the last two times. [00:07:40] Oh. [00:07:40] Only the last two times. [00:07:42] I have the Uber Eats receipts to prove it. [00:07:46] What happened the last two times? [00:07:48] The last two times. [00:07:49] He decided he decided he was much smarter. [00:07:53] I thought. [00:07:54] No, I have spent hundreds of dollars on coffee. [00:07:58] I'm sorry, I thought for a moment you were insinuating that for months he has been taking the credit for getting us coffee while charging us on, which would have been crazy. [00:08:08] No, no, no, not for months, at least probably the last three or four weeks. [00:08:12] I'm just kidding, two weeks, two weeks, the last two times because this guy hits me up in the morning, Pokey, he hits me up in the morning and he says, Get me two cappuccinos. [00:08:22] And I said, Oh, yeah, you're gonna get your fucking. [00:08:24] Cappuccinos. [00:08:26] So I text Hannah and I was like, hey, Hannah, the boss wants two cappuccinos. [00:08:32] And by the way, how about a vanilla latte? [00:08:34] You know what? [00:08:35] Actually, he's facilitating. [00:08:37] I've fully swung to your side now. [00:08:38] Thank you. [00:08:40] The double drink you should charge him. [00:08:44] I've spent every morning, I would get up. [00:08:47] I know. [00:08:47] And I would order a copy. [00:08:49] I would ask for everybody's copy orders. [00:08:51] I give you credit for that. [00:08:52] I thought that I had been lied to for years. [00:08:54] No. [00:08:56] I thought that I had been lied to for years. [00:08:58] Rap. [00:08:58] Fuck. [00:08:59] Well, can you imagine, though, if you had been doing that for like. [00:09:02] You were actually mad at me. [00:09:03] I was mad. [00:09:04] You were actually mad. [00:09:05] If for two and a half years you've every week been like. [00:09:09] I take care of the coffee. [00:09:11] Why am I taking care of the coffee? [00:09:13] Hold on, Hassan. [00:09:14] You're supposed to take care of the coffee. [00:09:16] What do you mean? [00:09:18] You chose to be the coffee guy. [00:09:20] Since when did that happen? [00:09:21] Am I wrong? [00:09:22] Did he not choose to be the coffee guy? [00:09:23] I chose to be the coffee guy. [00:09:24] You love farming. [00:09:26] You love farming. [00:09:28] It got really expensive. [00:09:29] Every time we have a good time. [00:09:30] I looked at my Uber Eats delivery and I was like, that's a lot. [00:09:33] Every week. [00:09:34] Guys, we have to stop fighting our mothers. [00:09:36] Guys, it's more work for him to actually get all the orders and get it done and make sure it gets done than it is for Hassan to lose. [00:09:43] 20 bucks. [00:09:44] That's right. [00:09:44] Thank you so much, Post. [00:09:47] I knew you'd be on my side. [00:09:49] Stop defending this grifty guy. [00:09:51] I just need to apologize for my initial reaction. [00:09:54] I thought I had been duped for the last two years. [00:09:56] Great reaction. [00:09:57] It's going to make for an excellent clip. [00:09:59] Yeah. [00:10:00] No, no, no. [00:10:02] We're going to have to have the context. [00:10:04] It can't be looked like a demon. [00:10:05] In this Twitter post, Will launches into slur filled rant. [00:10:10] And Austin is AI crying. [00:10:12] That's right. [00:10:12] Yeah. [00:10:13] Okay. [00:10:13] That's right. [00:10:14] Nobody, I do a lot. [00:10:18] For him, you know who I feel you don't. [00:10:20] You know who I feel for the worst with AI is Billie Eilish. [00:10:24] I feel like every two seconds I see a picture of her living her life, and then a picture next to her of like a shape contorted into like the most insane thing I've ever seen. [00:10:35] And then someone's saying, Grok, please make her do this pose. [00:10:42] I gotta jump across this. [00:10:44] What's wrong? [00:10:45] You're. [00:10:48] Lock in, bro. [00:10:49] We're doing a podcast. [00:10:50] I'm locked in. [00:10:50] I got to stir it. [00:10:52] I'm sorry. [00:10:53] I'm so sorry. [00:10:54] That's okay. [00:10:54] You're not. [00:10:55] You're not sorry. [00:10:56] And you will keep being messy for the rest of the podcast. [00:10:58] That's a lot better. [00:10:59] Why do you keep lying to everybody? [00:11:01] I'm not lying to anybody. [00:11:02] Most importantly, yourself. [00:11:04] I'm not lying to myself. [00:11:05] Okay. [00:11:05] Continue. [00:11:06] Did you see there was a fan video this week on the. [00:11:10] Your end Reddit? [00:11:11] Yeah. [00:11:12] Of you. [00:11:13] And there was a fan of yours, but the title of the video was Austin Show is a terrible person. [00:11:17] I saw this. [00:11:18] It was a video. [00:11:20] It's an Austin show is a terrible person, Pokey. [00:11:22] And it was an eight minute video of her just glazing me the entire time. [00:11:26] Oh, amazing. [00:11:26] I know, but I was so, I was so, I saw the title and I was like, oh, shit. [00:11:31] Yeah. [00:11:31] And I was like, shit. [00:11:32] Yeah, she was good. [00:11:33] She was good. [00:11:34] It was a beautiful video. [00:11:35] And to that person, I don't even want to call her a fan. [00:11:37] She's a friend. [00:11:40] To that friend. [00:11:42] She's family. [00:11:42] She's a mother. [00:11:43] She's family. [00:11:44] Part of the Fear Ann family. [00:11:45] Working class family. [00:11:46] We have to kill him with him. [00:11:48] And I'd like to thank you. [00:11:49] It was a beautiful video. [00:11:49] We're going to bury him in Portland. [00:11:50] Okay. [00:11:50] At the end of this, And the, and the, or I have a gift for Austin actually this week. [00:11:54] I have an airline story. [00:11:57] Oh, yeah. [00:11:57] Pokey. [00:11:58] I have an airline story. [00:12:00] Don't lean into this. [00:12:02] Oh, wait. [00:12:02] What is it? [00:12:03] You're feeding into his mind. [00:12:04] Did you see Frontier Air yesterday? [00:12:06] Yes. [00:12:06] They, I do. [00:12:08] I know what happened. [00:12:09] Pokey's, I don't. [00:12:09] Horrible. [00:12:10] Oh, no. [00:12:11] Oh, my God. [00:12:12] It was horrific. [00:12:12] I have no idea what happened. [00:12:13] Frontier Airlines flight taking off from Denver to Los Angeles late at night. [00:12:18] Unfortunately, somebody breached the airport boundary and ran across the runway and was absolutely. [00:12:25] Destroyed by a Frontier Airlines A321. [00:12:27] They jumped into the engine. [00:12:28] They jumped into the engine. [00:12:29] Wait, they were destroyed by. [00:12:31] The plane killed them. [00:12:32] They ran over. [00:12:34] What they got sauce, they turned into spaghetti and meatballs. [00:12:39] Yes, and they weapons sprinted, yes, right into the engine. [00:12:42] Is there a video? [00:12:44] Wait, wait, there's a video of the person running into it. [00:12:46] No, there's a video of someone inside. [00:12:48] Yeah, I saw now there's a chance they didn't see the plane coming, and perhaps they were just Austin. [00:12:54] Austin, they didn't see the plane logistically. [00:12:57] Could you explain that to me a bit more? [00:12:59] Plane go, why person? [00:13:01] Yeah, well, I'm not sure. [00:13:04] Explain the angle. [00:13:05] Well, I mean, I don't, I we don't know, I don't know anything about the person. [00:13:08] Behind the engine, and the plane is taking off, and they're kind of doing their like, we're taking off video. [00:13:13] And you can see this like explosion of flame from the back of the engine. [00:13:18] And presumably that was the person. [00:13:21] Oh, no, not presumably. [00:13:23] So wait, do you see the spray? [00:13:25] It's all. [00:13:26] Jesus Christ. [00:13:27] It's mostly fire. [00:13:29] Well, the reason why I ask is because, like in TV shows like Boys or whatever, like hyper violent shows, they usually just go and it's like a spray of mist, like pink mist. [00:13:41] So, I was wondering if that's what it looks like in the real world or if it's just the fire of the engine. [00:13:47] I haven't seen this in practice. [00:13:48] Well, I've seen a bunch of geese be thrown into an engine, frozen geese. [00:13:52] They did that to sort of redo the. [00:13:56] You watched it? [00:14:00] Where did you watch this? [00:14:02] This is one of those things where he looks at me like I'm supposed to value it. [00:14:06] How many is it, Bunch? [00:14:08] Okay, honestly, if your mom walks in, are you turning on porn? [00:14:13] If the video is just. [00:14:14] If the video is just. [00:14:16] Someone flicking frozen beast into the engine train. [00:14:19] No, no, mom, I'm watching porn. [00:14:22] No, because at the time when I was watching this video, I wasn't out to my mom. [00:14:27] The question I'm presenting to you that you're failing to comprehend is. [00:14:30] No, no, it's gay. [00:14:31] Do I put on gay porn? [00:14:33] I have to come out to her. [00:14:35] Don't you think it's better that your mom knows you as not a bloodless sociopath, but instead a homosexual man? [00:14:43] You're missing the context. [00:14:44] The calculation here is gay porn is better than what you're looking at. [00:14:47] Miracle on the Hudson. [00:14:49] Sully Sullenberger rescued and saved hundreds of lives in 2012. [00:14:55] How many geese had to pay the price? [00:14:57] But some geese flew into the engines, both of them, big geese. [00:15:00] And so, in order to determine how it happened, they had to recreate the scenario. [00:15:06] So, I imagine they found a bunch of geese and unfortunately murdered them and froze them. [00:15:09] Can we find the geese? [00:15:13] And they threw. [00:15:14] Threw them into the working engine to see how many geese it would take to stop the engine. [00:15:19] 16 year old Austin being like, I have to see these geese. [00:15:21] We have to know how many geese it takes to go to a critical failure. [00:15:25] But anyway, back to the Frontier Airlines flight situation. [00:15:28] I was going to say, are there any details? [00:15:30] Well, so I don't know. [00:15:31] But one thing, first thing that came to mind is this poses a very high national security risk. [00:15:38] The fact that somebody got on the tarmac, if there was somebody that wanted to commit an act of terror, they could get a couple people and then just throw themselves in front of the engines. [00:15:49] And then there's got to be a better way. [00:15:52] How would that be? [00:15:54] Oh, they would they would chuck themselves in front of the engines, and then the plane would be at a critical point of departure. [00:15:59] And then, yeah, I didn't see this video and I didn't know about the story. [00:16:03] I was too busy going out to parties. [00:16:05] We'll talk about that in a second. [00:16:07] Um, yeah, I'm cool now. [00:16:09] You just had to put the phone on, I had to drop that in there. [00:16:12] Not a big deal. [00:16:13] Um, logistically, did the guy get on the tarmac and like. [00:16:20] Crawl into the engine before the plane started moving? [00:16:24] No, the plane is going down the runway. [00:16:26] Yeah, it's going down the runway. [00:16:27] You know the movie Weapons? [00:16:28] Oh, yeah. [00:16:29] Remember the movie Weapons where they like Naruto sprinted and jumped into the engine? [00:16:35] You can do that? [00:16:36] Well, I mean, this guy's an innovator. [00:16:39] Well, that's impressive. [00:16:40] No, this is a national security risk. [00:16:43] That is the. [00:16:44] I don't even know if it is because I feel like that's not replicable. [00:16:47] Well, you need to be like a ninja. [00:16:50] You also have to be in a very rough place. [00:16:53] What was the purpose? [00:16:55] Well, I think suicide. [00:16:58] Something about the running, I'm like, there's got to be more. [00:17:02] To it. [00:17:02] I don't, yeah. [00:17:03] Do you see what I mean, though? [00:17:04] Like, if you're about to commit suicide, I feel like that's a, like, there's probably easier ways to do it. [00:17:10] Oh, no, that's the worst way. [00:17:14] Yeah, and also. [00:17:15] Yeah. [00:17:15] Well, I mean, it probably happened fairly quickly. [00:17:17] Like, do you train for that? [00:17:18] It's like being dropped in a giant blender. [00:17:21] Do you train for that, you think? [00:17:23] Yeah. [00:17:24] It's horrific. [00:17:25] Let me put this into context. [00:17:27] The plane at this point would be at full thrust. [00:17:29] So the turbines just. [00:17:32] Oh, you're showing it. [00:17:34] He's like, he's in there. [00:17:35] The plane I was on to LA hit a person that was on the runway. [00:17:38] I mean, there it is right there. [00:17:40] Boom. [00:17:40] Wow. [00:17:41] Yeah. [00:17:42] Boy, do you want to show it on the pod? [00:17:43] So, how low is the engine? [00:17:47] It's like it hangs probably just like not that far off the ground. [00:17:51] On a smaller plane, too. [00:17:54] That's not that small of a plane, but you would certainly be at. [00:17:56] Yeah. [00:17:57] Are you sure about the running and the jumping? [00:18:00] Yeah. [00:18:01] I just don't know. [00:18:02] I mean, unless new details have come out, as I understand it, this guy jumped the fence, ran across the tarmac. [00:18:09] Like, veered into the oncoming plane. [00:18:12] Yeah. [00:18:13] Lined it up with the engine. [00:18:15] I don't know. [00:18:16] My thing is this what if they were on drugs and they were trying to catch a ride or something? [00:18:21] Because I feel like there's better ways. [00:18:24] Well, no, I know there is, but I'm just trying to say. [00:18:27] I mean, the price of gas is crazy. [00:18:31] Think about it. [00:18:31] If you're running in a plane, those landing lights are blinding. [00:18:35] How the hell are you going to see where the engine is? [00:18:37] Yeah. [00:18:37] You know what I mean? [00:18:38] Yeah. [00:18:39] I think he missed. [00:18:40] You think he's trying to grab the wheelhouse? [00:18:43] I don't know if he's trying to grab the wheelhouse. [00:18:45] You think he was trying to go Tucson to Atlanta for free? [00:18:49] Yeah. [00:18:50] Denver to Atlanta. [00:18:52] What do you think this is? [00:18:53] If I was the captain? [00:18:54] No, no, no, no. [00:18:56] How many geese do you think the equivalent of a human damage would be? [00:19:01] We'll get there too, Sully. [00:19:02] Listen, I'm asking you, this is in your wheelhouse. [00:19:07] How fast do you think the plane was going by the time it. [00:19:11] Well, they had. [00:19:12] Now. [00:19:12] The beauty of Denver International Airport is the runways are extremely long, 11,000 feet, very long. [00:19:19] In contrast, the runways at Burbank are about 6,000 feet. [00:19:22] So it's about double the size of the runway. [00:19:25] So you have a lot of runway. [00:19:26] So at a certain point when you're taking off, there is a point of no return, which is you must take off. [00:19:32] And they were probably prior to this point. [00:19:35] So you go V1. [00:19:38] It looks very fast, though. [00:19:39] It looks like it's about the flight. [00:19:41] Yeah. [00:19:42] But because the pilots made the calculation that they had enough runway to stop, But at a certain point, you're not supposed to, you're supposed to just go. [00:19:50] But can you even take off with that? [00:19:52] Yes, you can take off. [00:19:53] We had an engine failure on where we, we, we, in our simulator. [00:19:58] But not while we were taking off. [00:19:59] No, we did. [00:20:00] We crashed. [00:20:01] But, but we were, it's because I didn't know what to do. [00:20:03] But now I know what to do. [00:20:04] But we, we had crashed because of the long story. [00:20:08] But anyway, our engine failure did not happen while we were, we were rear rotating. === America's Runway and WWII History (05:40) === [00:20:13] Oh. [00:20:13] When you turned it off. [00:20:14] So anyway, my point is. [00:20:16] That wasn't an engine failure. [00:20:17] So you can, yeah, there's a point of no return, but this point, so. [00:20:21] To answer your question, they were probably going, getting close. [00:20:25] I'd say at least 100 knots, probably 115 knots, which is probably about 120, 130 miles an hour. [00:20:31] That's impressive to catch something like that. [00:20:35] Yeah. [00:20:36] Like you have to kind of calculate exactly where the spot you need to be at because this is not like a slow moving vehicle at all. [00:20:45] This is 130 miles. [00:20:47] And it's huge. [00:20:48] A321, it's not a small plane. [00:20:50] That's why I'm saying this is not a replicable crime, I don't think. [00:20:54] Well, it's an incredibly impressive feat of athleticism. [00:21:00] And even mathematical calculation, and it's also unbelievably tragic. [00:21:05] Well, this is a tragic, yes, thank you. [00:21:09] It is a tragic, it's oh, the clip farmers are gonna be down in this one. [00:21:15] Oh my god, dude, I was talking about uh, World War II history, okay, very dangerous, as you guys know, right? [00:21:22] I love easy company and I love you're a band of brothers, yeah. [00:21:26] I'm a real band of brothers guy, I stand up and salute whenever I watch band of brothers, you know, America really. [00:21:33] Put belt to ass on the Nazi scourge. [00:21:37] Awesome. [00:21:37] Also a fan of FDR, too. [00:21:39] Maybe not all of the things he did, but definitely some of them. [00:21:42] My favorite president. [00:21:43] So I'm talking about the president. [00:21:44] He could really rock a blanket. [00:21:49] Has this ever happened to you? [00:21:53] Intense anal distress. [00:21:55] Stomach aches. [00:21:57] Fever. [00:21:58] Explosive diarrhea. [00:22:00] And you don't have a doctor? [00:22:03] That's why you. [00:22:03] Oh, my Christ. [00:22:04] Need to use ZocDoc. [00:22:09] ZocDoc makes finding a doctor easy. [00:23:03] And I did not know, and I want to ask you guys if you knew this, and maybe they taught this to you in Canada. [00:23:11] A lot of people don't know that there was an oil embargo that America implemented on Japan because Japan was obviously doing basically the Holocaust in China and also Korea. [00:23:25] And they were threatening Western territories in the Indo Pacific. [00:23:29] And that's when America was like, first, America was like giving stern condemnations to Japan. [00:23:33] They were like, don't do that. [00:23:35] Like, 100,000 to 300,000 slaughtered in China. [00:23:38] Oh, that's not good. [00:23:39] But then when they actually started threatening, like, French, you know, Colonial territories, then America was like, okay, we're stopping steel exports and we're stopping oil shipments that are going to Japan. [00:23:52] And then Japan was like, all right, these guys are going to fight us. [00:23:55] We got to go do a first, you know, preemptive first strike in Pearl Harbor. [00:24:01] And I explained this concept and I was fascinated that like many Americans didn't know. [00:24:04] So, first, do you guys know that? [00:24:06] Very familiar. [00:24:07] I know you know because you literally watch World War II documentaries before you have sex. [00:24:11] I think you forget who I am. [00:24:13] First of all, I'm keenly aware of it because my grandfather was. [00:24:17] Actively involved with producing and managing oil during World War II for the United States. [00:24:22] That's true. [00:24:23] Did you know? [00:24:24] Did you learn about this in Canada? [00:24:25] Okay. [00:24:26] Might have, but it was so long ago. [00:24:27] So I have an American history textbook, and they like it's like a brief footnote because I always wonder do they not teach this in school? [00:24:36] Oh my God. [00:24:37] Or are you a bad student? [00:24:39] Oh my God. [00:24:40] Hassan is literally doing the America Deserved Pearl Harbor. [00:24:43] No, that's. [00:24:46] I was wondering a little bit. [00:24:48] So the reason why I'm explaining the story is because I'm going through this history lesson, and literally now people think I'm saying America Deserved Pearl Harbor. [00:24:56] I'm like, What the fuck are you talking about? [00:24:58] Oh my god! [00:24:59] It's been a joke that I've been running forever! [00:25:02] No, and so people are running with it? [00:25:04] No, people are like, oh my god, this song's like, oh, I'm a commie who supports Imperial Japan. [00:25:09] No, of course not! [00:25:10] Like, what the fuck is wrong with people? [00:25:13] No, I know you don't support it. [00:25:15] No, but it's crazy that, like, you can't even fucking describe, like, historical events that took place without people just being like, oh, I guess you loved Pearl Harbor. [00:25:23] It's like, no, I didn't, actually. [00:25:25] Like, I'm very much in support of America in World War II. [00:25:28] What the fuck? [00:25:29] Right. [00:25:30] Right. [00:25:31] I was, yeah. [00:25:31] And we won the war, thankfully. [00:25:33] Yes. [00:25:33] Well, the USSR also put a lot of, you know, he always tries to put a lot of manpower. [00:25:38] It was Victory Day yesterday, so. [00:25:40] We, I will tell you what, no matter how much of a leftist I become, I will never become, I will never become, I will never become less patriotic about the World War II. [00:25:52] Yeah, I'm patriotic about World War II as well. === Instagram Stories and Perfect Jeans (14:30) === [00:25:54] What do you want to talk about? [00:25:55] I'll tell you what, in the United States, we were so powerful. [00:25:59] Were. [00:26:00] Conquered. [00:26:01] Just. [00:26:02] American steel, American machinery, but Russian manpower. [00:26:05] Yes, yes. [00:26:06] And not Russian. [00:26:07] Actually, that's also a misnomer. [00:26:09] But also, the use of the nuclear bomb is not something that I supported. [00:26:13] But I wasn't alive, but I couldn't say anything. [00:26:15] But retroactively, oh, okay. [00:26:19] What do you want to talk about? [00:26:21] Well, I want to actually bring something up. [00:26:23] It's a very sad thing. [00:26:24] I'm sorry, but I feel I want you to talk more. [00:26:27] You just want to go to the show. [00:26:29] I'm listening to. [00:26:30] Please, I don't want to interrupt. [00:26:31] I'm happy to listen to you. [00:26:32] On Mother's Day, It's horrific. [00:26:35] Yes, you are my other kid. [00:26:36] We have talked about a lot of horrific things. [00:26:38] Yes, we have. [00:26:41] We have. [00:26:41] How was your time on the Fearhead podcast? [00:26:43] We talked about a lot of horrific things. [00:26:46] We talked about a guy getting dice. [00:26:47] Yeah, what's on your mind, Pokey? [00:26:50] Actually, funnily enough, I do have a dilemma to pose to you all. [00:26:54] I love it. [00:26:56] Since I'm in a room of guys and very different guys. [00:27:01] So I feel like you might have helpful, differing perspectives. [00:27:05] That's right. [00:27:06] So. [00:27:07] I have been friends with this guy for a long time. [00:27:11] Okay. [00:27:14] So excited. [00:27:15] You're going to your show. [00:27:16] I can't wait. [00:27:16] I can't wait. [00:27:18] So excited. [00:27:19] So I've been friends with this guy for a long time. [00:27:21] We don't like hang out one on one. [00:27:23] Okay. [00:27:23] We have a lot of mutuals. [00:27:24] We see each other at group events, right? [00:27:26] Group hangouts, whatever. [00:27:28] And, you know, at some point, oh, I had invited him to something with a bunch of friends. [00:27:33] We did it. [00:27:34] And then, like, a few months later, I was going to invite him again. [00:27:37] So I go to message him, like, hey, are you free on this day? [00:27:40] Blah, blah, blah, blah. [00:27:41] And he doesn't answer for a couple days, which is unlike him. [00:27:44] So I go and I check his socials and I see he's on vacation. [00:27:48] So I'm like, okay, he's probably just like busy. [00:27:50] But then also, when I went to his socials, I saw he unfollowed me. [00:27:54] Whoa. [00:27:56] He's got a new girl in his life. [00:27:58] No, hold on, Will. [00:27:59] Jesus Christ. [00:28:00] Sorry, sorry, sorry, Jesus. [00:28:01] Shut up with the lane. [00:28:03] Shut up with the lane. [00:28:04] So, yes, I noticed he unfollowed me and like across the board on everything. [00:28:11] And I was like, that's. [00:28:11] That's peculiar. [00:28:12] That's very peculiar. [00:28:13] Especially of a friend of like years, years, years, years. [00:28:15] You have the heart drop feeling. [00:28:17] A little bit. [00:28:18] And I'm not going to lie, it was so peculiar that I was convinced someone had told him some lie that I must now clear up or something. [00:28:25] Because I'm like, there's like no other reason. [00:28:27] Right. [00:28:28] Anyway, so I follow up and I'm like, hey, just saw you're on vacation. [00:28:32] Also, I saw that you unfollowed me. [00:28:34] Like, I hope everything's okay. [00:28:36] Yeah. [00:28:36] Oh, damn it. [00:28:37] Let me know if there's anything. [00:28:39] Period. [00:28:39] No, period. [00:28:40] You know. [00:28:40] Period. [00:28:41] Girl, I love how bold you are. [00:28:43] No, no. [00:28:43] I'm not going to lie. [00:28:45] Most people would just eat that. [00:28:46] No. [00:28:47] What? [00:28:48] No. [00:28:48] That's good. [00:28:49] I'm telling you, we have such a. [00:28:51] Good friendship, okay. [00:28:53] That I was like, Oh, like for you to do this, something must have happened. [00:28:57] Yes, of course. [00:28:57] This isn't like some random person, you know what I mean? [00:29:00] Yeah, yeah, yeah. [00:29:00] So I was like, I was really convinced, like, someone had told him a bold face lie or something, right? [00:29:06] So I was like, Hey, like, I hope everything's okay. [00:29:09] If there's some kind of issue or misunderstanding, like, let me know. [00:29:12] Um, hope you're all whatever. [00:29:14] He gets back to me the next day. [00:29:15] He's like, Oh, yeah, sorry, I'm out of town. [00:29:18] Uh, I can't make it. [00:29:19] Um, as for unfollowing you, I unfollowed you. [00:29:23] Out of respect for my relationship. [00:29:26] What? [00:29:27] Okay, I called that from John. [00:29:29] Wait, wait, wait. [00:29:29] I'm not done anymore. [00:29:30] My blood's starting to boil. [00:29:32] Then he said, There's absolutely nothing wrong between us. [00:29:38] Yeah. [00:29:39] I hope that clears up any confusion. [00:29:41] Had you had an intimate relationship? [00:29:43] No. [00:29:44] Never flirted, never went on a date, never anything. [00:29:47] Okay, I can tell you the exact XYZ of this. [00:29:50] I'll tell you the exact XYZ. [00:29:53] Present your dilemma first. [00:29:55] I mean, for starters, it's a situation where I'm like, what? [00:29:59] There's nothing, you know, I'm not going to combat this. [00:30:02] Your choice or her, the relationship choice. [00:30:06] But I can't lie, I was a little bit hurt because I thought we had a good friendship. [00:30:12] They'll be hurt. [00:30:13] Really? [00:30:14] This is okay. [00:30:14] I mean, a little bit of a compliment. [00:30:16] I'm going to tell you exactly what happened. [00:30:18] I'm going to tell you. [00:30:18] Oh, wait, wait, wait. [00:30:19] Sorry. [00:30:19] Can I add one more big question mark in here? [00:30:23] He, like, this is not a new girl. [00:30:26] Right, so yeah, he got caught. [00:30:28] Oh, caught doing what? [00:30:29] I'm gonna tell you right now. [00:30:30] I'm gonna tell you right now. [00:30:32] What's up, Togi? [00:30:33] I'm gonna give you the XYZ of this, and I'm probably within a few percentage total accuracy. [00:30:39] Okay, I can guarantee. [00:30:40] Okay, thank you. [00:30:41] I needed answers because you know I can't ask him. [00:30:43] One drunk evening, he and his woman friend were either playing the who do you think is cute of your friends game, or she was like, landmark, can I use your phone to order food game? [00:30:57] She's going through his saved Instagram posts. [00:31:00] He sees she sees one of you and she's like, What's and he's like, Oh, that's and the seed was planted, or the seed was planted, and then time has passed and it gets more. [00:31:12] She's like, So, why, like, why do you why is she the cute friend? [00:31:15] And he's like, I don't know. [00:31:16] We just like, I've always thought she's like, But you guys talk a lot, and he's like, We don't, we don't. [00:31:22] Okay, here's no, no, this is what it is. [00:31:24] Okay, are you ready for this? [00:31:25] Yeah, yes, Instagram stories favor. [00:31:29] Who you watch on Instagram or who you communicate with every now and then on Instagram, or who likes your posts on Instagram, that kind of thing. [00:31:38] There's some algorithm behind it. [00:31:40] Pokemane's Instagram story is at the top. [00:31:43] Number one. [00:31:44] Number one, or maybe number two. [00:31:45] He really wants to know what shirt I'm wearing today and what brand it's from. [00:31:49] It's totally platonic, but he sees that. [00:31:53] You're right there at the top, or this is another one, top of the search bar. [00:31:59] He's scrolling. [00:32:01] There's no way that this was self imposed. [00:32:03] Yes. [00:32:04] There's no way that he just one day was like, I can't follow Pokemon anymore. [00:32:08] Can't do this. [00:32:09] Yeah. [00:32:09] Out of respect for my relationship, what took place, what took place. [00:32:13] I fully respect my work. [00:32:14] Either your Instagram stories popped up, either your Instagram stories popped up. [00:32:17] I didn't for the last however many years we were together, but today I respect myself. [00:32:21] Something came up. [00:32:22] You were in the search bar, or there was a scrolling situation where maybe he liked on accident or deliberately a post of yours, and it was seen by the partner, and they went, Why do you like that photo? [00:32:39] What about that photo? [00:32:40] It's so good. [00:32:41] Did he like all your photos? [00:32:43] Nothing. [00:32:43] Recently, you posted, you were like, I'm back in the gym. [00:32:45] I saw it on Twitter, right? [00:32:47] You were like, Oh, I'm back in the gym. [00:32:48] What if you like that photo? [00:32:50] What if you like that photo and then I can totally see it? [00:32:54] Why do you like that? [00:32:57] Why do you like that? [00:32:59] Yeah, what's. [00:32:59] Guys, guys, I'm going to run it through. [00:33:03] I'm like, oh, because I think, hell. [00:33:06] When's the last time you worked out? [00:33:08] Oh, you're a big gym guy now? [00:33:10] Oh, come on. [00:33:11] I said we were going to do this. [00:33:12] Do you like when I work out? [00:33:14] You've never liked when I work out. [00:33:15] I said we're going to start working out together. [00:33:17] I want you to unfollow her on everything. [00:33:19] I want you to unfollow her on Instagram. [00:33:22] She's my friend. [00:33:23] No. [00:33:25] Okay, it's fine. [00:33:26] Guys, I completely understand. [00:33:30] I really do. [00:33:32] I think I was just perplexed because I never see him like my stuff. [00:33:36] We rarely see each other. [00:33:37] It's like a long term group friend thing. [00:33:40] Okay, last story. [00:33:42] But I don't disagree because, again, I don't know exactly every single person who's liked everything. [00:33:47] Are you ready for this? [00:33:48] Yes. [00:33:48] Okay, this is the last theory. [00:33:50] Again, drunken night. [00:33:54] Something like that, okay? [00:33:57] It's not, you're not the inciting incident, okay? [00:34:01] But you might be in the back of the mind of the partner, the other, the female in this situation, and something takes place that causes the woman of the relationship to demand a mass unfollow spree, and you get hit in the crossfire. [00:34:19] Does he still follow other women? [00:34:21] I think so. [00:34:22] I think that's also why I was like, this is our friendship, and again, No flirting, no nothing ever. [00:34:29] You know what? [00:34:30] I think that this, I know you, you obviously handling it very well and you're doing the right thing right now, but I don't respect that at all. [00:34:43] I mean, there are some couples where like you can't even acknowledge that other people are a couple. [00:34:47] I just don't respect it as human beings. [00:34:49] Like, obviously, it's unbelievably crazy. [00:34:52] I respect monogamy, of course, but. [00:34:57] Are you sure? [00:34:58] Did you hear this, man? [00:34:59] I started laughing at it. [00:35:01] You're missing. [00:35:02] Your threesome. [00:35:03] Hold on. [00:35:04] Hold on. [00:35:06] Every fucking episode. [00:35:07] Yes. [00:35:09] I'm going back to Portland early so I can fuck my cancer. [00:35:13] This morning he was, he had a tragic blow to his social life because his threesome partner was in a bird accident where he received lacerations on his face. [00:35:24] So he had to bench him. [00:35:25] No. [00:35:28] Bench. [00:35:28] That sounds insane. [00:35:31] I didn't have to. [00:35:32] Bench him. [00:35:33] He's like, I gotta go out and find some more ass. [00:35:35] No, I didn't bench him. [00:35:37] Pokey, don't listen to this. [00:35:38] Propaganda. [00:35:39] Well, listen, even if you don't participate, I think you can respect monogamy. [00:35:43] Of course. [00:35:43] He just may need a couple week break. [00:35:45] Yeah, you just, you respect monogamy from what I are. [00:35:47] You don't know. [00:35:48] I don't participate in it. [00:35:50] I respect it from a fault. [00:35:51] I respect people's rights to engage in monogamy. [00:35:55] Yeah. [00:35:56] But I think that even though people are monogamous, we need to understand we're human beings, right? [00:36:01] I will always find other people attractive. [00:36:03] You will find other people attractive. [00:36:04] You will find other people. [00:36:05] You will find other people attractive. [00:36:06] It's, we're Part of being human. [00:36:08] Acting on those impulses is another thing, and that disrespects monogamy. [00:36:11] And I respect that that's your engagement. [00:36:12] You can't break those boundaries and push those boundaries. [00:36:15] But I think that insecurity in a relationship, in that particular, things like that, is such a big turnoff. [00:36:22] Yeah. [00:36:23] I mean, I've been there. [00:36:24] I've been on the other side of it. [00:36:26] You may be vulnerable. [00:36:27] I've been the insecure partner at moments in time where I was like, so I noticed you liked a lot of his photos. [00:36:35] Why is that? [00:36:36] You know, I've been there before. [00:36:38] And I've worked through it. [00:36:41] And now I see sometimes, and I see sometimes, and I'll be like, oh man, he has liked a lot of those person's photos. [00:36:46] But then I just, instead of confronting about it, I just go find somebody else hot and I like all their photos. [00:36:51] Oh, wow. [00:36:53] That's wow. [00:36:54] That's not. [00:36:55] I'm just kidding. [00:36:58] You're living in a different system. [00:37:00] A beacon of healthy masculinity. [00:37:02] I'm joking. [00:37:02] And then I send him all the photos that I like. [00:37:05] Just so you know. [00:37:06] It said, what do you think of this photo? [00:37:09] Big Austin show like this? [00:37:10] Yeah, yeah. [00:37:11] Loki, I'm sorry that happened to you, but I'm sorry. [00:37:13] That sucks. [00:37:14] That's so cute. [00:37:15] That's so cute. [00:37:16] Silver line. [00:37:17] I mean, In a weird way, too. [00:37:20] In a weird way, it's like they're. [00:37:22] But I really. [00:37:22] This partner considers you to be very pretty. [00:37:26] Yeah. [00:37:27] And it also kind of exposed the guy. [00:37:30] Like, now you know he kind of thinks. [00:37:33] I guess I just wish there were maybe some answers because I never got that impression. [00:37:37] And so it had me thinking okay, is there some kind of secret thing that she caught on to in relation to him? [00:37:44] Or does she not like me? [00:37:46] Or like, does she view me as like. [00:37:48] I don't know. [00:37:48] It just made. [00:37:50] The friendship feels insignificant, which was kind of hurtful to me because I take my friendships very seriously. [00:37:55] Dude, he knows this. [00:37:56] I had an ex at one point who made me go through my Rolodex because I have a really good relationship with a lot of my exes. [00:38:04] I have a really good Rolodex. [00:38:05] No, that too. [00:38:07] A real hoi polloi of attractive women. [00:38:10] No, but she made me go through and like call some of these women and be like, I no longer can have a relationship with you. [00:38:17] And it was like a huge sticking point. [00:38:19] That's insane. [00:38:19] That led to like a bunch of fights. [00:38:21] I know who you're talking about. [00:38:22] That led to a bunch of fights because like, There were some women where I was like, I'm simply not good at it. [00:38:27] Like, I have way too much time in with this person. [00:38:30] Like, there's someone I grew up with. [00:38:32] Like, you have to, I'm not going to call one of my exes from Princeton, New Jersey, and be like, I know I haven't really seen you in a decade, but we just know we'll never see each other again. [00:38:43] That's also a weird predicament because it's like, what if you haven't talked to that person at all in like 10 years? [00:38:49] And then now you're just calling them up. [00:38:50] The interesting thing was, there was one girl in particular that I was really, really close with. [00:38:55] Austin, what's your biggest frustration with jeans? [00:38:58] I just don't like when they don't fit right. [00:39:00] That's right. [00:39:02] When they're just so rigid. [00:39:03] It's either they're too loose or they're too tight and they ride up your crack. [00:39:07] Oh, that sucks. [00:39:08] I hate when that happens. [00:39:09] They chafe while not anymore. [00:39:12] Don't you hate when you got to readjust? [00:39:14] That's the conversation. [00:39:15] Right. [00:39:15] You know what I mean? [00:39:16] Well, Austin, I've found the perfect jeans. [00:39:19] You have not? [00:39:20] I have. [00:39:21] Tell me about it. [00:39:21] Do you know what they're called? [00:39:22] The perfect jeans? [00:39:24] Good guess. [00:39:25] You're correct. [00:39:26] Wow. [00:39:26] The perfect jeans are perfect because they're stretchy, they're comfortable, they're breathable, and you know what? [00:39:34] They look pretty darn good too. [00:39:36] You know what? [00:39:37] My wife's been wearing some of these. [00:39:39] Your wife? [00:39:39] Yes. [00:39:41] And let me tell you, I cannot help but notice her assets. [00:39:45] I've never met her. [00:39:47] Really? [00:39:47] Where does she live? [00:39:48] Well, I'll tell you after. [00:39:51] Tell me about her jeans. [00:39:52] Well, they are tight and perfect. [00:39:55] Just the way I like it. [00:39:56] Oh, my goodness. [00:39:58] That's right. [00:39:59] No more. [00:39:59] Boring mom jeans. [00:40:01] No. [00:40:02] No. [00:40:02] You got tight, nice, perfect jeans. [00:40:05] That's right. [00:40:06] And you could too. [00:40:08] Our listeners get 15% off their first order plus free shipping at theperfectgene.nyc or Google the perfect gene. [00:40:15] And use code FEAR15 for 15%. [00:40:17] They're from New York City! [00:40:19] So you know they're good! [00:40:21] Fucking hell, bro! [00:40:21] Hey, I'm walking in! === Ghost Following and Bar Boyfriends (10:31) === [00:40:24] Because we were like, do you know what a bar boyfriend is? [00:40:28] It's kind of like when you're going through your most intensive part of your study. [00:40:33] It's like someone, but this person really helped me with my master's degree and we were tight. [00:40:37] Like an exam buddy. [00:40:38] Right. [00:40:38] And our breakup was so amicable. [00:40:42] So she made me call this person, but this was the only person that I acquiesced on. [00:40:47] And then after the breakup with the latter girl, we connected again, and she was like, I totally understood. [00:40:54] Like, it sounded like a hostage call. [00:40:57] Yes. [00:40:57] And I, not a healthy situation. [00:40:59] Right. [00:40:59] And so, like, we were able to mend that afterward. [00:41:02] But I certainly think that, like, you know, went down the road. [00:41:06] You know, if this guy comes around, I'm always like, I'm a, because I've had situations like this where I had to be cut off by somebody. [00:41:14] And really, what was that called? [00:41:16] You sex icon, you. [00:41:18] Wait, you had to be cut. [00:41:20] Well, I've had people that I've had sex with. [00:41:25] Really? [00:41:26] Yes. [00:41:27] And this one in particular, I remember, and I had sex with him, and then he would get a boyfriend, and then he'd unfollow me, and then he'd refollow me, and I'd be like, oh, he's single again. [00:41:38] And then I'd, of course, I'd follow him back. [00:41:41] And then he'd unfollow me. [00:41:44] And we go through this whole process. [00:41:46] And every time I was like, you know, you don't need to unfollow me. [00:41:49] Like, I'm not going. [00:41:50] I respect your. [00:41:51] I respect monogamy. [00:41:52] Unfollowing is such a statement. [00:41:56] Unfollowing somebody on social media is a statement. [00:41:59] It's an act of war. [00:42:00] Such a statement. [00:42:01] I don't. [00:42:02] I know. [00:42:03] Okay. [00:42:03] Depending on the situation, it's an act of war. [00:42:05] I think if. [00:42:06] I think it is a declaration of something. [00:42:10] Yes, it is. [00:42:11] Okay. [00:42:11] Depending on the depth of the friendship or relationship, you don't really know each other. [00:42:15] It's a declaration of not much. [00:42:17] You do really know each other for several years. [00:42:21] Come on, you know what my reaction is when somebody unfollows me. [00:42:24] There are a few unfollows that I've like had to justify to friends because we know a lot of adult entertainers. [00:42:31] And at one point, my timeline was like too crazy. [00:42:34] So I reached out to some of these women and I was like, It's I'm sorry, I can't look at your butthole anymore on Twitter. [00:42:40] Like, peace and love. [00:42:42] I'll have to unfollow. [00:42:44] This is too insane. [00:42:45] I respect that. [00:42:46] I just, I it's all mute. [00:42:47] I put it on mute because I because I look at uh Twitter for my job all the time. [00:42:54] Stream. [00:42:54] Yeah. [00:42:55] And I had to literally mass mute every single sex worker friend of mine because, yes, like you said, there's one girl. [00:43:03] I'm like, what's going on in the strain of hormones? [00:43:05] And then it's like, pussy shot. [00:43:06] Yeah, that's the real person had to be like, I'm sorry, I can't do this at 8 a.m. while I'm scrolling Twitter. [00:43:14] I can't. [00:43:15] Maybe it's the closure of it all more than anything. [00:43:17] Like, if he messaged me and he was like, hey, this happened. [00:43:21] She saw or found this, then like, okay. [00:43:23] He'll give you a heads up. [00:43:24] Nothing. [00:43:25] I just found it and then he's. [00:43:26] He's exposed himself. [00:43:27] It was also confusing because he's like, there's, if there's not, he said, there's nothing wrong, like between us. [00:43:33] If there's nothing wrong between us, why do you need to own your own? [00:43:35] Yeah, what's the issue? [00:43:36] Why can't you look at my gym pegs? [00:43:39] And if you can't trust your partner, it's health. [00:43:41] It's a part of the wellness journey. [00:43:43] And he was a boy. [00:43:44] I understand, like, you know, I'm an influencer and sometimes I post whatever photos that look like cute or sexy or whatever. [00:43:51] You're hot, Pokey. [00:43:52] Let's say it. [00:43:55] What? [00:43:56] You're hot. [00:43:57] Let's, come on. [00:43:57] It's finally, let's say it out loud. [00:43:59] But mind you, this was like across the board, all socials. [00:44:03] So I was, I don't know. [00:44:04] Damn, he took the LinkedIn down. [00:44:05] The LinkedIn too, girl. [00:44:07] That's crazy. [00:44:07] But maybe I'm overthinking it because, of course, I don't view myself through that lens. [00:44:13] And our friendship, it's just a friendship. [00:44:15] I don't trust your women's intuition. [00:44:17] I don't think you're a woman. [00:44:18] Is it unfair that it made me feel a little objectified as, oh, I am nothing but like a potential? [00:44:25] Yes. [00:44:25] Yes. [00:44:26] No, your instinct on that is right because I think you're clocking that in their relationship. [00:44:32] Whatever happened between the two of you, like whatever his infatuation was, it had to have been problematic for him to prompt either him being like, I can't even look at her gym photos without wanting to go fuck around. [00:44:48] Or, right, like him just being like, I need to do this out of respect for my girlfriend. [00:44:53] Or his girlfriend was like, This needs to stop. [00:44:56] So you looked at his other unfollows and he was still following like OnlyFans models and stuff. [00:45:01] I didn't scroll through whatever, but I just know he still follows like other girls. [00:45:06] That he has been friends with, like me, for a long time. [00:45:10] That's weird. [00:45:10] Are they, you know? [00:45:13] He's saying, Are they fraught? [00:45:14] Yeah, yeah, yeah. [00:45:16] That's crazy. [00:45:18] What? [00:45:19] I'm a crazy person. [00:45:20] What? [00:45:22] I'd be willing to bet this was a ghost tag situation. [00:45:25] What's a ghost tag? [00:45:26] When someone favorites a photo instead of liking it to keep it on their rollerblocks. [00:45:30] That's a crazy thing. [00:45:31] Do guys do that? [00:45:32] I don't know. [00:45:33] I've never done that. [00:45:34] You've never heard of ghost following? [00:45:35] There's a huge. [00:45:36] I mean, I'll like stuff on Twitter to come back to it because I lose it. [00:45:39] Okay, so there's a huge kind of like concept where there are, if you ever see like an attractive woman with a massive following, but like maybe there's not. [00:45:48] I thought you were going to say it with massive cannons, which is what you do ghost tags for. [00:45:52] That Venn diagram overlap is bigger than you think. [00:45:55] But no, if you see their follower count and then their like and comment count, it'll be like disproportionate. [00:46:04] It's because people are saving it? [00:46:05] People will follow and just not say or do anything because they're like, what are they doing? [00:46:13] Ghost following is like ask your friends who are like adult entertainers. [00:46:16] Most people are single. [00:46:18] I don't understand what the purpose is. [00:46:21] Most men are horny animals and they don't want people to know they're gooning to something, so they'll follow it to keep it on there. [00:46:28] I don't understand how you goon to bookmarked Twitter. [00:46:33] Bro, you used to draw your porn in Turkey. [00:46:36] Yeah, dog. [00:46:36] Porn was illegal. [00:46:38] Yeah, that's what I'm saying. [00:46:40] He was drawing Zen diagrams. [00:46:42] 14 year olds. [00:46:42] Hormones going crazy. [00:46:44] There's some teen Turk right now. [00:46:46] Gooning to Twitter. [00:46:48] Come on. [00:46:48] I mean, maybe. [00:46:49] That's what he did. [00:46:50] You jerked off to Twitter when you were back in Turkey. [00:46:53] I did do that. [00:46:55] Yes. [00:46:55] Thank you. [00:46:55] Because it was literally all the porn sites were banned, and Twitter was the only way where I could see it. [00:47:00] No, I was in Tennessee. [00:47:01] I don't know what's happening to this country, but I was in Tennessee. [00:47:03] I was trying to watch some porn, and I had to fucking show my ID. [00:47:07] I was like, this is bullshit. [00:47:08] You showed your ID? [00:47:10] No, I didn't show it. [00:47:11] Dog, you are so horrid. [00:47:13] You're just hard dick trying to get it to scale. [00:47:16] Oh, no. [00:47:17] No, I didn't. [00:47:18] Christian flipped the car. [00:47:20] No, that's catatonic. [00:47:21] No, I didn't. [00:47:22] I didn't do it. [00:47:23] You are, that is like. [00:47:24] I didn't do it. [00:47:25] I said, you know what? [00:47:26] I'm going to have to go back to the old vault. [00:47:28] I don't believe you. [00:47:29] I think you didn't do it. [00:47:30] No, I didn't. [00:47:31] I think you did. [00:47:32] You scanned your shit before you beat your meat. [00:47:35] I don't beat my meat. [00:47:37] Pokey, that was a fantastic topic. [00:47:38] I love that. [00:47:39] Thank you so much for sharing that. [00:47:41] I'm curious, do you guys have rules like that in your relationship? [00:47:43] What do you think is okay or not? [00:47:45] Because I do agree, there is a way of being a. [00:47:48] There's a line, you know? [00:47:50] If you are spam liking another girl's posts, I understand your girlfriend being bothered by that. [00:47:54] I think that's spam sheet. [00:47:55] Both of us have had, my boyfriend and I, both of us have had moments where we don't really have rules in terms of like operating on social media. [00:48:02] We very early on was like, hey, like our social media is like what we do and we can find other people attractive and we can like photos. [00:48:10] I think though, every once in a while on both sides, some people will be like, we'll be like, come on now. [00:48:16] You know? [00:48:16] And then he'll be like, come on now. [00:48:17] And I'll be like, all right, sorry, I'll lay off this guy's photos. [00:48:20] And I'll be like, Christian. [00:48:22] But you guys like talk together, right? [00:48:24] Of course you do. [00:48:24] Of course we do. [00:48:25] No, it does matter because sometimes Austin just posts. [00:48:28] Oh, I don't do that. [00:48:32] I don't post that, but sometimes I'm like, Man, and I go back. [00:48:35] I'm like, Christian, what are you talking about? [00:48:37] And I go back, I'm like, Whoa, I was really, yeah, right in line every first, you know. [00:48:42] But uh, anyway, you know, we all get we all like to I like to support my wow, you know, like to support, but but we don't really have any boundaries there. [00:48:50] I think, uh, you know, it's just like a hey, just use your common sense, don't go crazy, you know, yeah. [00:48:55] I so I mean, I have a lot of we have a lot of friends who are. [00:49:00] In the industry, the industry. [00:49:04] And I think for me, the only like people that, well, women that I'll ever post, like, you know, looking hot or whatever, are like my ride or dies. [00:49:15] You know what I mean? [00:49:16] Like Miss Gina Darling, like people that I have time in with. [00:49:20] Because I just think that a guy posting anything on like a woman's like traps or, you know, just fitness pics. [00:49:30] Can be taken the wrong way. [00:49:32] I know. [00:49:33] It happens all the time. [00:49:34] Yeah, like with Pokemane's latest, you know, going to the gym post, if you write anything underneath that, it has to be like a long paragraph about the empowerment. [00:49:44] A victory for women's fitness everywhere. [00:49:47] Yeah. [00:49:48] It has to be about wellness. [00:49:49] Shatter the glass ceiling. [00:49:51] It has to be a paragraph of workout advice. [00:49:54] In the 13th century, Joan Darm found women's empowerment. [00:49:59] And let me just say, I'm not clueless to that. [00:50:02] He was not someone who did any of the above. [00:50:04] I think that's why I was so shocked. [00:50:05] He never wrote long, convoluted posts that were tragic. [00:50:07] He never did any of the like. [00:50:09] I was really like, we just had a good friendship for many a year. [00:50:12] It's amazing. [00:50:13] We actually developed something right here on the podcast that I've seen a lot of people use. [00:50:17] I've seen it everywhere. [00:50:18] For platonic man congratulating woman on looking hot. [00:50:22] Yeah, without looking horny. [00:50:23] And it's, and you just say, do it, lady. [00:50:27] I like that. [00:50:28] You just have to do it. [00:50:29] It's just kind of like a tip of the hat. [00:50:30] Like, hey, a fine pussy to you. [00:50:34] You just have. [00:50:35] To gay it up, looking extra thick today, ma'am. [00:50:39] I'll do it, lady. [00:50:40] Yeah, it's like I love your nails. [00:50:43] Fix me, finds you very attractive. [00:50:45] I like that. [00:50:45] I like that. [00:50:46] No, you can't get too ready with it. [00:50:47] You have to be gay. [00:50:49] Like, you have to be like, I love your nails, sis. [00:50:51] Yeah, that kind of thing. [00:50:53] Yeah, sis and lady are good ones. === James Charles Bot Community Drama (15:18) === [00:50:56] Will, yeah, you've been selling some stuff. [00:50:58] That's right. [00:50:59] And it makes me feel good. [00:51:01] That's right. [00:51:02] I've been selling my used underpants. [00:51:03] What? [00:51:05] I stink them up good. [00:51:07] I work out in them. [00:51:08] What? [00:51:08] I package them up. [00:51:10] Put a little kiss on them, send them out. [00:51:12] Wow, what platform do you use to sell these on? [00:51:15] Shopify. [00:51:16] Wow, that's right. [00:51:17] Stinky, smelly underpants. [00:51:19] You will, there was a market for that. [00:51:21] Oh, big time, really? [00:51:23] Yeah, people send me messages. [00:51:25] They go, We'll stink them up. [00:51:28] We'll stink them up extra. [00:51:30] And you know what's great? [00:51:32] What no matter what your market is, Shopify's got your back. [00:51:36] That's right, and that's why I love to use Shopify. [00:51:38] That's right, buy some of yours. [00:51:40] Oh, do that's that's right, ladies and gentlemen. [00:51:42] If you have. [00:51:43] Any kind of e commerce idea, you'd be crazy not to list those products on Shopify. [00:51:51] That's right. [00:51:52] It's time to turn those what ifs into chitchings. [00:51:55] That's right. [00:51:56] Shopify new sales sound with Shopify today. [00:51:59] Sign up for your $1 per month trial at Shopify.com slash fear. [00:52:05] Go to Shopify.com slash fear. [00:52:08] That's Shopify.com slash fear. [00:52:12] And when they ask who sent you, tell them we'll stunk it up good for you. [00:52:18] Yeah. [00:52:18] Marsh, I hate to make the podcast a little bit more. [00:52:23] Sad, but I have a message. [00:52:24] Another horrific topic. [00:52:27] No, it's not sad, but it's a good, it's a feel good, but also, we didn't even talk about the Asian uh, we should talk about the James Charles thing, too. [00:52:35] Oh, yeah, I don't even know. [00:52:36] I want to talk about the James Charles. [00:52:37] We got to talk about that, but really, well, we only have nine minutes. [00:52:42] Son of a, we only have nine minutes. [00:52:44] I know. [00:52:45] Okay, we can do an extendo episode if you want and just add 10 more minutes. [00:52:49] Yeah, two topics. [00:52:50] Okay, uh, Marsh, would you mind pulling up the link that I sent on Instagram? [00:52:53] This mess. [00:52:54] She's just such a good guest. [00:52:55] We're so verbose while she's here. [00:52:59] The one that I, the most recent one, and this, you have to turn it up. [00:53:04] Oh, I, dude. [00:53:06] This message is for all of us. [00:53:10] And this will make you cry. [00:53:13] I know. [00:53:14] What? [00:53:14] That's me? [00:53:15] Moms. [00:53:17] Moms. [00:53:17] So this is a voicemail that I received from a Fear and Universe fan. [00:53:25] I saw this already. [00:53:26] It made me cry a little bit. [00:53:27] What? [00:53:27] This is the 61-year-old gay man. [00:53:30] You guys give me so much joy. [00:53:35] The news just takes me apart every day. [00:53:39] Because I'm battling with cancer, but you, Hassan, your boyfriend, everybody, you guys bring me joy. [00:53:47] So I know it looks like it's not going to end up in a better world, but we'll all be okay. [00:53:58] It's real hard for me to get up, but it's ahead. [00:54:03] I'm totally taking cancer, but I just want to let you guys know that I watch all the time Cuba. [00:54:11] You guys are just trying to, all that stuff. [00:54:14] So please don't stop. [00:54:16] You bring me to us. [00:54:20] Thank you. [00:54:21] He's so cute. [00:54:23] Well, we reached out, we texted him, and he texted us back. [00:54:29] So we are going to send. [00:54:33] He doesn't have. [00:54:34] We tried to. [00:54:35] I was like, can we make a video? [00:54:37] And he watches us from his TV. [00:54:39] So we found out he watches from the TV. [00:54:42] So I wanted to give a shout out to you. [00:54:44] I don't want to say your name, just protect your identity. [00:54:47] But we love you. [00:54:49] We support you. [00:54:50] And we're so happy that you're enjoying it. [00:54:51] Did he refer to me as Hassan's boyfriend? [00:54:54] No, he referred to me, my Christian. [00:54:58] But we're going to send you something nice from the Fear Amp podcast. [00:55:01] And also, Uh, what the hell was I gonna say? [00:55:05] I lost my train of thought. [00:55:06] Fuck, it's not a good time to lose my train of thought. [00:55:08] Oh, I wanted to say, you know, we should send them. [00:55:11] Let's send them. [00:55:12] We've had those there forever. [00:55:13] Send them your unreleased pillow cover, sure. [00:55:16] I'll send them that. [00:55:17] Yeah, absolutely. [00:55:18] Uh, but thank you for watching and supporting the Fear and podcast and the Fear and cinematic universe, if you will. [00:55:25] Um, and uh, yeah, I just think it's a you know, I said this on stream, but you know, he said he's a 61 year old gay man, and um, I think it's really uh, You know, it just made me think, like, gosh, you know, I always say thank you to our gay elders because they put out a lot. [00:55:43] They sacrificed a lot for the rights. [00:55:45] Obviously, the fight never stops, but the rights for people like me, my life would be completely different if they didn't fight for our equality. [00:55:53] So, thank you, sir, for your fight. [00:55:56] Homosexuality. [00:55:57] And your homosexuality. [00:56:00] But, yeah. [00:56:02] Yeah, you never know who's watching. [00:56:03] That was so heartwarming. [00:56:05] Shout out to you because we wanted to send you a video, but you watch us on your TV. [00:56:11] So, it's great. [00:56:13] Anyway. [00:56:14] We heard. [00:56:15] James Charles. [00:56:17] That's crazy. [00:56:19] That is what went from gay rights to gay wrongs. [00:56:22] No, like that's crazy awesome. [00:56:26] That's a good, like, YouTube chapter. [00:56:31] We have to talk about this because we do, we do, we must. [00:56:36] It is like the tea of the week. [00:56:37] It's the tea of the week. [00:56:39] I thought this was AI. [00:56:40] I really did. [00:56:41] I'm not kidding for a minute, I did too. [00:56:42] I was like, there's no way he's saying this. [00:56:44] Yeah, I was like, this is AI. [00:56:45] What do you think? [00:56:46] Well, let's play the video. [00:56:48] Oh, I did. [00:56:49] It's in Discord. [00:56:50] Oh, God. [00:56:51] I sent you a TikTok. [00:56:52] Jesus fucking Christ. [00:56:54] I think you guys should watch it in full and I think maybe clip it for the podcast. [00:56:59] Society has had enough of James Charles. [00:57:02] All right. [00:57:03] You know what's interesting about this? [00:57:06] We'll get into it later. [00:57:07] But I think there is a kernel of his sentiment that is smart. [00:57:14] But beyond that, the way he handled it, the way he talked about it, the way he dealt with the whole thing. [00:57:19] Was so wildly inappropriate. [00:57:22] I just can't believe it. [00:57:23] Yeah. [00:57:24] Like, I can't even believe it. [00:57:25] March is getting one shot at by the gacha. [00:57:28] You have absolutely no idea. [00:57:29] March is getting one shot at by the gacha. [00:57:31] He's doing fucking captions. [00:57:32] Yeah, March is a fucking bot. [00:57:36] Yeah, March is a fucking bot. [00:57:38] It's obvious. [00:57:40] Put the fucking puzzle piece in. [00:57:43] What is going on? [00:57:46] It's not gacha. [00:57:47] Do you think it's throw it up on Incognito? [00:57:51] Or maybe add more. [00:57:53] So let me, while we're waiting, the kernel of this that I think is true is I don't know if you guys have this in your community, but like I'm kind of close with like a lot of people in my community that are struggling because of really tough financial times. [00:58:07] And there's things that I've done to try and help a lot of people in my community. [00:58:12] But there is an economy of people that use like bots and will cold call you, especially if they know you're a community that takes care of your community to try and like squeeze funds out. [00:58:24] And I think that really sucks because there's a few times that I've like gone down the road with someone that I think is like a community member, and I'm like, wait a minute, this is just a bot that's phishing. [00:58:34] Oh, no, it's not a community. [00:58:35] Yeah. [00:58:35] And so I think James getting pissed that the person isn't a community member, I understand that. [00:58:40] But again, that should be like a one second, like, oh, they're not a community member, throw it out. [00:58:45] You should not go on a this is really like a tirade. [00:58:52] Yeah. [00:58:55] Let's watch. [00:58:59] Yeah. [00:59:02] Yeah. [00:59:03] This is bad. [00:59:09] I know you'll probably never. [00:59:20] Caption. [00:59:22] Is that not correct? [00:59:28] Stop it and pause it for a second. [00:59:37] Here's the problem. [00:59:39] It could absolutely be a bot. [00:59:41] However, there are real people that are real people. [00:59:45] And he framed it as a real person. [00:59:48] Okay, another problem is he's belittling losing your job in a mass layoff like that. [00:59:55] In a mass layoff. [00:59:56] As your fucking James Charles. [00:59:59] You're an influencer. [01:00:00] What the fuck do you do? [01:00:01] So trivial. [01:00:02] So again, this is what I'm saying. [01:00:03] The kernel of truth that there is kind of like mass, like kind of just spread. [01:00:11] Playing on people's heartstrings and kind of belying the fact that you're a fan and lying about it. [01:00:16] That is, that's the wrong. [01:00:18] But to deal with it like this is like, that smile is like unhinged completely. [01:00:25] Because again, there are. [01:00:28] That's why I thought it was AI. [01:00:29] Yeah, it's not. [01:00:29] This is psychotic. [01:00:31] It's crazy. [01:00:32] You're absolutely right when you said like there are real people and he framed it as a real person. [01:00:37] That's insane. [01:00:38] He didn't even frame it as it could have been a bot. [01:00:40] Even if it is a real person. [01:00:42] Like your response being like, uh, get a job instead of panhandling on the internet, sweetie. [01:00:49] Why? [01:00:49] Why? [01:00:50] But I never help you. [01:00:51] You're not a fan. [01:00:52] You don't even follow me. [01:00:52] You've never supported me because it's your first time DMing. [01:00:55] And you think that I'm going to send you money because you lost your job? [01:00:58] Oh my God. [01:00:59] Welcome to the real world, sweetheart. [01:01:01] People lose their job. [01:01:02] Crazy. [01:01:04] I know. [01:01:05] Okay. [01:01:06] Pause. [01:01:07] This part coming up is the worst because he categorizes who he might send money to. [01:01:16] And his depiction is like someone in the worst. [01:01:19] Like, there's. [01:01:20] It's so bad. [01:01:22] All right, keep going, guys. [01:01:23] This is fucking crazy. [01:01:24] There's a lot of other people out here who are trying clearly much harder to make a better life for themselves. [01:01:29] Why do I fucking help you? [01:01:31] Aside from that, 17,000 people lost their jobs at Spear Airlines. [01:01:35] Why do you think you need to go fuck me? [01:01:37] I can at least, like, 1% respect the mentality of closed mouths, don't get fed. [01:01:41] Doesn't hurt to try. [01:01:42] But obviously, it does hurt to try because now you pissed me off. [01:01:44] Okay? [01:01:44] I'm not the one. [01:01:45] Go find fucking Mr. Reese. [01:01:47] This is literally his entire shtick. [01:01:48] I'm sure the next YouTube video is literally gonna be like. [01:01:50] I rehired all 17,000 of the Spirit Airlines employees, and it's going to be the real. [01:01:58] Guys, how is this real? [01:01:59] Wait, pause it for a second. [01:02:02] On the one hand, like. [01:02:04] I could see Mr. Beast making a video. [01:02:06] Yes. [01:02:06] But also, on the other hand, like, how are you trying to posture as a more moral person in this circumstance and Mr. Beast's exploitative practices of, you know, maybe making this hypothetical video? Still comes across as like morally better than what the fuck James Charles is doing, which is absolutely nothing. [01:02:28] Actually, it would be better if he did absolutely nothing. [01:02:32] This is the worst thing he could possibly do, which is shitting on 17,000 people that lost their fucking jobs. [01:02:39] And in a moment of desperation, in a moment of panic, they're like, all right, I'll just ask this fucking influencer. [01:02:45] I also don't know why he brings that up like 17,000 other people lost their jobs. [01:02:49] That doesn't make that one person situation any better. [01:02:52] Like, they're all in tough spots. [01:02:55] Every time I see somebody that is struggling, my first thought is never to, oh, they could get themselves out of that spot. [01:03:02] It is the system in this country has created circumstances that are, the things that they need, they're unattainable in many instances. [01:03:11] You know, healthcare, livable wages. [01:03:13] They don't want to be in the same room as you love. [01:03:16] Not ideally. [01:03:16] We're very fortunate in our positions, but we had to, a lot of things had to go right for us to be sitting here and be in the position that we're in. [01:03:24] You know, great, you know, our upbringings or what are the circumstances of our upbringings. [01:03:29] And there's a tremendous amount of privilege that we had to be here. [01:03:31] So, like, it's easy for somebody to sit back with millions of dollars and be like, get a fucking job. [01:03:35] It's like, bitch, you don't have to live and survive under those circumstances ever. [01:03:40] I think you need to have grace regardless. [01:03:44] Of course. [01:03:44] Because the fact that you're not in that predicament, even if you were like regular working class, like also struggling and you saw someone struggling harder than you, you have to realize that you are still in a better position overall than this other person. [01:03:58] And you could just as easily be in their shoes. [01:04:00] And if you're fucking James Charles or any influencer, like we won the lottery. [01:04:05] We win the lottery every day, man. [01:04:07] What the fuck? [01:04:08] Like, have a little humility. [01:04:09] Jesus Christ. [01:04:11] It's un fucking bearable. [01:04:12] I feel like it's like designed in a lab. [01:04:15] He needs to read up on maybe why it works out for certain people and not so much others, and that it's not all correlated to how much you deserve it. [01:04:24] It's because life is not a meritocracy, unfortunately. [01:04:27] I know when you make it, you want to think that it is. [01:04:29] You want to think, ah, I did all of this because I worked hard. [01:04:33] Everybody works hard. [01:04:34] Not everybody makes it as fuck. [01:04:36] Read outliers, read anything that. [01:04:40] Might make you just get another perspective besides your own. [01:04:45] Also, unfortunately, just being an influencer, you have to be cognizant of the fact that you will live in some sort of echo chamber because the people that watch you will kind of yes man you. [01:04:55] Yeah. [01:04:55] But be mindful of how far, just if anything, how delusional that might get you. [01:05:01] Also in your circle. [01:05:02] Yeah. [01:05:03] Yeah. [01:05:04] The people that you surround yourself with are also going to be of a certain level of wealth, especially when you're, you know, That famous, I guess. [01:05:14] It is, it's unfucking bearable to hear this. [01:05:17] But once again, I'm going to repeat this. [01:05:19] There are a lot of chuds who would 100% agree with that sentiment. [01:05:24] Unfortunately. [01:05:25] Who are also, unfortunately, also of the working class, are in a similar predicament, like moments away from also being fired. [01:05:32] And they also have internalized this concept of like meritocracy. [01:05:36] James Charles and many other rich people don't want to believe that luck played a tremendous role. [01:05:43] In the family they were born into, the financial predicaments that they experienced, and the way that they were able to overcome said hurdles if they did actually engage in any sort of upward social mobility. [01:05:54] Luck has played a formative role in every part of every single one of our lives. [01:05:57] Sure. [01:05:58] Wait, did he say everybody works hard? [01:06:00] He said he's still in the same bed and now it's the right time. [01:06:03] And she sent me a message with a GoFundMe link asking me to donate. [01:06:07] And the video was basically me yelling at the camera, being super upset and frustrated because this person had never followed me, never supported me before. === Luck, Hard Work, and GoFundMe (02:45) === [01:06:15] And it was clear that she had basically copied and pasted this DM to every influencer and celebrity she possibly could, asking for a handout. [01:06:22] And I called her lazy. [01:06:23] I said she was stupid. [01:06:24] And I said she should have spent the time that she spent copying and pasting the message, applying for jobs instead. [01:06:30] This video was stupid. [01:06:32] It was rude. [01:06:32] It was obnoxious. [01:06:33] It was privileged. [01:06:34] And most importantly, it was completely unnecessary. [01:06:37] When I saw that DM, I absolutely had the choice to ignore it and say absolutely nothing at all and move on with my day. [01:06:43] Yeah. [01:06:43] Or give them money. [01:06:44] I couldn't even tell you why. [01:06:45] I like that option, actually. [01:06:47] And I decided instead to make a video about it. [01:06:50] And I bashed her, and it was obnoxious. [01:06:52] And I shamed her for asking for help in a situation where she was clearly really struggling, and this could have been her absolute last resort. [01:07:00] I have no idea what was going on in her life, and I should have never assumed that she was just copying and pasting this DM as an easy way out. [01:07:07] I don't know. [01:07:08] Wait, I want to add one last thing. [01:07:11] Oh, okay. [01:07:12] Because Hassan was saying, you know, a lot of people's success also has to do with luck. [01:07:17] I just want to say again, life's not a meritocracy, it's not just luck. [01:07:21] If you just take a little bit of time to look into so many of these success stories that we glorify and idolize and look up to, a lot of people either come from wealth or pretty privilege or maybe are in the right place at the right time. [01:07:34] What have you for things to work out for them? [01:07:36] Almost everybody is working hard in some way or other. [01:07:40] That's like the core necessity. [01:07:42] Everything else still has to work out for you to reach a certain level of wealth or privilege like this. [01:07:48] So, tremendous. [01:07:49] Yeah. [01:07:49] I hope maybe he learns. [01:07:51] Yeah. [01:07:51] I always think about the teachers that I met in Oklahoma when they were doing a wildcat strike a couple of years back. [01:07:57] And they were telling me about how, like, they were getting paid, I think at the time, like 30 grand a year, which was abysmal. [01:08:04] And then outside of that, They had to literally Uber. [01:08:08] Like they had to do Uber, they had to do Postmates. [01:08:11] And the reason why they had to do that is so that they could have some like disposable income in the like after the regular work day. [01:08:17] And then possibly even purchase like materials for their students. [01:08:21] Like some of them were doing this just so they could fundraise for their students. [01:08:25] They could get like, you know, coloring books, things of that nature. [01:08:30] And like when I think about those people, I'm like, you think Elon Musk is working harder than that fucking teacher in Oklahoma? [01:08:36] Of course not. [01:08:37] As a matter of fact, Elon Musk is working way. [01:08:39] Has a way easier go at it. [01:08:41] So it blows my fucking mind that there's this like assumption that, you know, all these wealthy people, they must have worked really hard and they must have worked really smart. [01:08:48] Sure, they did work hard at some point, I assume, you know, sleepless nights, that sort of thing. [01:08:54] But the reality of the matter is, so is the fucking teacher, just like you were saying. [01:08:57] So is the guy working at the Amazon distribution facility. [01:09:00] Shows like. === Art Drew Birthday and Humility (01:51) === [01:09:01] Yeah. [01:09:01] Yeah. [01:09:01] So is Austin Show. [01:09:02] No, no. [01:09:03] Every day. [01:09:04] No. [01:09:04] Every day, working so hard. [01:09:05] I was going to talk about how my mother, my mother was a single mom of three. [01:09:09] She worked her ass off. [01:09:11] And she worked a full time job and she took care of those three kids. [01:09:14] It was before I came along. [01:09:16] And she worked her ass off. [01:09:17] She worked harder than I ever have worked. [01:09:20] Yeah. [01:09:20] You know? [01:09:20] So have some fucking humility, have some decency. [01:09:23] Jesus Christ. [01:09:24] Yes, for God's sake. [01:09:26] And on that note, we are going. [01:09:27] Thank you for watching. [01:09:28] Thank you for watching. [01:09:29] And thank you for the time. [01:09:30] What do you want to shout out? [01:09:32] I don't know. [01:09:33] Thanks for having me. [01:09:34] Pokey, what do you got? [01:09:35] Come on, shout it out. [01:09:36] Oh, my birthday's coming up. [01:09:37] Happy birthday to Pokey Maids. [01:09:40] We're going to sing to her in the Patreon. [01:09:43] Thank you guys for watching. [01:09:44] We appreciate you. [01:09:45] And happy Mother's Day. [01:09:46] Happy Mother's Day to all the mothers. [01:09:48] We love you so much. [01:09:49] We love you, mothers. [01:09:50] Patreon.com slash fearand. [01:09:51] Thank you. [01:09:55] And I sat down in a chair to observe, and somebody came and gave me a clipboard. [01:10:00] And so I started drawing. [01:10:05] Tell me you have the drawing. [01:10:06] I have the drawing, but not on me. [01:10:08] I'll send it to Marsh later. [01:10:10] I have. [01:10:12] I know. [01:10:12] I'm so upset. [01:10:13] I left the drawing at home, but I have. [01:10:15] I drew an art. [01:10:16] I signed it and dated it. [01:10:17] I drew an art? [01:10:18] I drew. [01:10:19] You drew an art? [01:10:20] I drew because I felt awkward because I was. [01:10:21] We're done. [01:10:22] So, wait, wait, wait, wait. [01:10:25] So, you were like, you were a little turned on. [01:10:28] You wanted to see what was going on. [01:10:29] Well, yeah. [01:10:30] And I said, you wanted to get a closer look. [01:10:31] Yes. [01:10:32] So, you sat down and you were forced into this Larry David style situation. [01:10:36] I was surrounded by all these people. [01:10:39] Imagining people who were looking at your shoulder. [01:10:41] Yeah. [01:10:42] An artist is doing like a perfect charcoal drawing. [01:10:45] Austin is doing like a Dude, with a massive gun! [01:10:49] I'll bring it to you. [01:10:50] I did it! [01:10:50] That's exactly what I did! [01:10:51] What? [01:10:51] That's exactly what I did!
