[00:00:00]  Xi Jinping, the leader of communist China, has said that he wants the People's Liberation Army to be ready to invade Taiwan in 2027.
[00:00:12]  There have been recent actions by the United States in Venezuela, very significant.
[00:00:17]  In Iran, there's still an Iran war happening.
[00:00:20]  It's in a ceasefire at the moment.
[00:00:22]  But the question here is have there been any recalculations in your mind in the PRC?
[00:00:31]  What is Xi Jinping thinking?
[00:00:33]  How is this affecting things?
[00:00:34]  Are there any changes?
[00:00:36]  Well, of course there are.
[00:00:38]  And I want to point out that as China has mentioned to the United States that Taiwan is the greatest risk factor between the relations between China and the United States, actually, I believe that it's the other way that the People's Republic of China is the greatest risk factor for peace and stability in the Taiwan Straits and in the Pacific region.
[00:01:01]  They're the ones who are the aggressors.
[00:01:02]  They're the ones who are, as you mentioned, militarily.
[00:01:05]  Preparing for conflict.
[00:01:09]  And the People's Republic of China has engaged in the largest peacetime military preparedness in human history.
[00:01:19]  And I think that's unfounded because their borders are not under threat.
[00:01:23]  But yet, with all the things that are occurring around the world, you mentioned Venezuela, Iran, and others, I think it shows a result from the United States to use the necessary tools.
[00:01:35]  To fix problems or achieve its objectives.
[00:01:38]  And obviously, there'll be a relevance or reference to that on the Indo Pacific, in particular to the Taiwan Straits.
