[00:00:00]  Not only do you have these foreign actors that are fighting against assimilation, you have domestic actors.
[00:00:07]  One of the things I do in the book is quote a lot of progressive activists who talk about the fact that they favor mass immigration.
[00:00:17]  Why?
[00:00:18]  Because they see it as having a transformative effect on American society.
[00:00:23]  It's the way to kind of remake society in the vision that they want.
[00:00:28]  Not where America is today or not where even the American people want to go.
[00:00:32]  This is where I want to go as an activist.
[00:00:34]  And I see these migrants as a tool for my political weaponization.
[00:00:40]  And they're quite explicit about it.
[00:00:42]  I mean, that's the thing that's shocking.
[00:00:43]  So I think we need to wake up to that fact.
[00:00:46]  The migration we're dealing with today is weaponized.
[00:00:49]  It's very different than 50 and 100 years ago.
[00:00:51]  It doesn't mean that we shouldn't have immigration.
[00:00:53]  My parents immigrated from Europe.
[00:00:56]  I think it's a wonderful, beautiful thing, but we have to understand what's going on and deal with this weaponization first.
