| Uh last week, uh the Secretary also announced that the emergency use authorization for the COVID products had finally been rescinded. | |
| The emergency medical emergency had been declared ended months ago, but they managed to uh kind of um retain the EUA authorization for these products, even though there was no longer a medical emergency, and that's finally ended. | |
| And so now we have uh termination of that and three products authorized Moderna Pfizer and and uh uh Novavax, you know, in short, uh, for limited indications uh of basically elderly and uh populations at high risk of at least one high risk factor, | |
| undefined by the FDA what that meant, uh, which is uh part of the remit now that's been tossed into the lap of the ACIP because we're obligated by statute to advise the secretary at the meeting following any FDA determination about a vaccine. |
