Good evening, and boy do we have a phenomenal episode for you today.
That's because just earlier today, a hidden transcript was made public for the very first time, which exposed a certain narrative that the government has been trying to sell the American people for well over a year now.
Specifically, this was a never-before-made public January 6th transcript, which undermines one of the central claims that was made by the House Select Committee, the claim regarding the 10,000 National Guard troops.
Let me briefly explain what the claim was, and then subsequently what this new transcript reveals.
To start with, shortly after the event of January 6th, you have President Trump's chief of staff, Mr.
Mark Meadows.
He came out and he told interviewers that the administration had actually offered upwards of 10,000 National Guard troops to the city of Washington ahead of the planned demonstrations on January 6th.
For instance, during an interview over on Fox News, here is specifically what Mark Meadows said.
That the President was very vocal in making sure that we had plenty of National Guard, plenty of additional support, because he supports the rule of law, he supports our law enforcement, and offered additional help.
Even in January, that was given.
As many as 10,000 National Guard troops were told to be on the ready by the Secretary of Defense That was a direct order from President Trump, and yet here's what we see is there's all kinds of blame going around, but yet not a whole lot of accountability.
That accountability needs to rest with where it ultimately should be, and that's on Capitol Hill.
Likewise, you had the former acting Secretary of Defense, Mr.
Christopher Miller.
He gave an interview to Vanity Fair, wherein he said that, quote, in a meeting on January 5th, 2021, Mr.
Miller told President Trump that the Department of Defense was going to provide any number of guard personnel that Washington officials requested.
President Trump, according to Mr.
Miller, responded by saying, quote, you're going to need 10,000 people.
But Mr.
Miller told the select committee that he never knew of any plans of that nature.
There was no directive.
There was no order from the president.
However, it appears that the reason there was no order is because the mayor of D.C. was not interested in the offer.
And she wasn't shy about saying that she was not interested.
In fact, on January 5th, she publicly posted on Twitter her response letter to the Trump administration saying unequivocally that, quote, to be clear, The District of Columbia is not requesting other federal law enforcement personnel and discourages any additional deployment without immediate notification to and consultation with the Metropolitan Police Department if such plans are underway.
And so, Mayor Muriel Bowser, she declined the additional troops and she essentially passed the buck to the Capitol Police.
However, it was later revealed that the Capitol Police was likely hamstrung by politics.
Here's specifically what the former chief of the Capitol Police, Mr.
Steven Sun, here's what he said during a Senate hearing.
And so, based on these different data points, It appears that what took place was that President Trump and his staff were offering National Guard troops to the city of Washington.
It was just that the city was not interested, for one reason or another.
And this whole back-and-forth exchange, well, it was actually summed up quite succinctly in a CNN town hall.
Take a listen.
One of the big problems was that Nancy Pelosi, Crazy Nancy, as I affectionately call her, Crazy Nancy Pelosi and the mayor of Washington were in charge, as you know, of security.
And they did not do their job.
They're not in charge of the National Guard.
You're in charge of the National Guard.
Well, I offered them National Guard.
I said, we'll give you soldiers.
We'll give you National Guard.
We'll give you whatever you want.
And they turned me down.
And in fact, she turned me down.
Excuse me.
She turned me down in writing.
They turned me down.
But your acting defense secretary, Chris Miller, at the time, he says you never gave a formal order to deploy the National Guard.
But when it came to that day...
Just the opposite.
Miss Miller wrote a book, and he's a fantastic guy, and he was ready to go.
They turned him down.
If you look, the mayor of Washington, D.C., lovely lady, she said, we don't want it.
We don't like the look.
Nancy Pelosi said, oh, we don't like the look.
If they would have had just...
I offered them 10,000 soldiers.
I said...
It could be 10, it could be more, but I offered them specifically 10,000 soldiers.
If they would have taken 500 soldiers, you wouldn't have had the problem.
They turned it down.
And if you look at the Inspector General report, he says they turned it down.
They made a terrible mistake.
However, this is where things, you can say, got a bit interesting.
Because despite this testimony, Last year, while Democrats were still the majority in the House of Representatives, well, the select committee to investigate the January 6th attack on the U.S. Capitol, they released their official final report.
This report, which you can see up on your screen, and for your reference, it was 845 pages long.
It was then echoed by news outlets across the whole country.
And the report contained in it some very specific conclusions regarding the question of National Guard troops.
And among those was the following.
Quote, Then, if you go a little bit down in the report, it mentions the question of National Guard troops again and includes a small snippet from a certain transcript.
Quote, Some have suggested that President Trump gave an order to have 10,000 troops ready for January 6th.
The Select Committee found no evidence of this.
In fact, President Trump's acting Secretary of Defense, Christopher Miller, directly refuted this when he testified under oath.
And then below that is the small snippet.
Question, to be crystal clear, there was no order from President Trump to put 10,000 troops to be on the ready for January 6th, correct?
Then Miller responds, no, yeah, that's correct.
There was no direct, there was no order from the President.
And so there's a lot to unpack here.
The final report, it unequivocally wrote that the select committee found no evidence that Trump gave an order for 10,000 troops.
However, that's a game of semantics.
That's because, while it might be true that there was no order to deploy 10,000 troops, that was very likely because the offer of the troops was rejected by the local civilian leadership.
In fact, in this final report, The comments from Mark Meadows are not included.
The statements from President Trump himself are not included.
And even in that short snippet from Christopher Miller, the one that I read to you just a moment ago about there being no direct order from President Trump to deploy the troops, well, for some reason, the report failed to include Christopher Miller's previous quote, the one about how President Trump wanted the Defense Department to provide any number of guard troops that Washington requested, adding that they'll probably need about 10,000 troops.
For some reason, that first part was omitted from the final report.
Now, all this we already knew.
However, earlier today, a new, previously hidden transcript has just been revealed, which undermines the no evidence claim even further.
Because you see, Mr.
Anthony Ornato, who was the White House Deputy Chief of Staff during the time of January 6th, he was apparently also interviewed by the J6 Select Committee.
However, the content of his interview never made it into the final report.
And today we likely know why.
The transcript of Mr. Ornato's interview reveals a phone conversation that he overheard.
It took place between Mark Meadows, who was again Trump's White House Chief of Staff at the time, and Ms. Muriel Bowser, who was the mayor of Washington, D.C.
And here's how this phone conversation went according to the transcript of Mr. Ornato's interview with the J6 Select Committee.
When it comes to the National Guard's statement about having 10,000 troops or any other number of troops, do you recall any discussion prior to the 6th about whether or how many National Guard troops to deploy on January 6th?
Answer.
I do recall a conversation, I believe.
It was with Mr.
Meadows and the mayor, Mayor Bowser.
I remember he was on the phone with her, and I had walked in for something, and I was there.
And he was on the phone with her and wanted to make sure she had everything she needed.
Because I think it was the concern of anti and pro groups clashing is what I recall.
And not anywhere near the Capitol.
This was just out in the mall area or at the event and wanted to know if she needed any more guardsmen.
And I remember the number 10,000 coming up of, you know, the president wants to make sure that you have enough.
You know, he is willing to ask for 10,000.
I remember that number.
Now that you said it, it reminded me of it.
And that she said she was all set.
She had, I think it was like 350 or so for intersection control and those types of things, not in the law enforcement capacity at the time.
And then that's the only thing I recall with that number, 10,000 National Guard guardsmen.
All right, just to pause here for a super quick moment.
Listen, it's obvious that the financial system is not looking too great.
After being pumped up with trillions of virtually free government dollars for many, many years now, well, the stock bubble might actually burst in the near future.
And in that process, unfortunately, it could take away the nest egg of anyone who happens to be exposed to it.
And so, consider taking this opportunity to diversify into something which is beyond the grasp of Washington, D.C., and Wall Street, physical gold and silver.
And the best company to use, in my opinion, is the sponsor of today's episode, American Hartford Gold, who, I should mention, is also my own personal gold and silver bullion dealer.
And besides myself, they have thousands of five-star reviews from other Americans, and they also have an A-plus rating with the Better Business Bureau.
And working with them is rather simple.
They have a huge selection of coins, bars, and rounds to choose from.
They have super friendly staff who you can call, and they can set up either gold delivery directly to your doorstep, or they can even set you up in a gold IRA. And then lastly, best of all, if you tell them the Romans sent you, they will throw in a free gold coin with your first qualifying purchase.
So give them a call.
The number is 866-242-2352.
That's 866-242-2352.
Or you can simply text Roman to 65532.
I'll also throw a link to their webpage.
It'll be down there in the description box below.
Meaning that according to the White House Deputy Chief of Staff, he testified that he heard a conversation wherein his boss extended an offer of 10,000 National Guardsmen to the D.C. mayor, only to have her rejected.
Now, you would assume that that would be significant, and that it would be included in the final report if the report aimed to paint an honest picture of what actually happened on that day.
But you would be wrong.
This transcript was buried, never released to the public, not included in the final report, and instead, as I mentioned earlier, the final report conclusively stated that the committee found, quote, no evidence to support the idea of 10,000 National Guard troops being ordered.
But what's really funny about it is that the select committee does have plausible deniability.
Because the way that they wrote the report, they did not mention at all the question of whether Trump offered the National Guard troops.
They only wrote that he never ordered the troops.
And because of that small detail, technically, they're not lying.
They're just also not really telling the truth.
And they continue to do so.
For instance...
After this transcript was made public, Ms.
Liz Cheney, she defended herself, as well as this final report over on Twitter, by writing that quote, You might want to actually read the January 6th report.
The Secretary of Defense, Christopher Miller's transcript, said that Trump never ordered 10,000 troops.
But again, that is technically true, but it obfuscates what appears to be the real truth, that Trump did offer these soldiers, but he did not mobilize them because that offer was ultimately rejected.
It would be similar to a husband who's driving home from work.
He calls up his wife to say, hey, honey, I'm going to stop by Wendy's on the way home.
Do you want anything?
She says, no, I'm okay.
Well, the husband comes home, and then the wife complains that he didn't buy her any food.
And that is true.
He did not buy her any food, but he did offer to.
He would have bought it for her, but she only said that she didn't want it.
That's actually a pretty apt analogy for what appears to have happened here.
Regardless, Congressman Barry Loudermilk, he's a Republican from Georgia, and he's the one who actually released this new transcript to the public.
Well, here's what he said alongside this transcript in a statement.
The former J6 Select Committee apparently withheld Mr.
Ornato's critical witness testimony from the American people because it contradicted their predetermined narrative.
Mr.
Ornato's testimony proves what Mr.
Meadows has said all along.
President Trump did in fact offer 10,000 National Guard troops to secure the U.S. Capitol, which was turned down.
And the reason that this seemingly small detail matters so much is actually fairly obvious if you think about it.
It's rather difficult to accuse someone of instigating an insurrection if that same person was offering 10,000 soldiers to prevent an insurrection.
It would be difficult to include both narratives in one single report.
And so, there you have it.
And actually, if you would like to dig deeper into these developments, I highly recommend that you check out our three documentaries on this particular subject.
The real story of January 6th, the January 6th tapes, as well as January 6th, The Long Road Home.
They basically cover everything that happened on that day using all available data sources.
Including the recently released tapes.
And in my opinion, these documentaries are incredibly well done.
And frankly, given the fact that the events of that particular day have remained so central to the politics of today, I'd say that these docs are a must watch for anyone who wants a clearer picture of what really took place on January 6th.
Because ultimately, the textbooks that kids will be reading generations from now are going to be controlled by government issuing bodies.
And so it's pretty much a guarantee that future generations will be taught the government-approved version of that particular day.
Basically, the conclusions of the select committee report.
And so, I believe that equipping yourself, your family, your community, and everyone you know with the actual facts is quite important.
And so, that's all to say that I would highly recommend that you check out the three documentaries that we published over on Epic TV, our awesome no-censorship video platform.
If you want to check them out, I'll throw those links down into the description box below.
You can find them all there at the top of the description box, which I should mention is that same description box right below those like and subscribe buttons, both of which I hope you take a quick moment to smash so that this vital information can reach ever more people via the YouTube algorithm.
And until next time, I'm your host, Roman from the Epic Times.
