[00:00:07] The homeless problem, it's everywhere in the city. [00:00:10] But what has taken over the homeless encampments is the drug addiction. [00:00:14] Open on the streets, they're shooting up. [00:00:16] Drug exchanges, sales, use... [00:00:19] Within the shadow of those buildings, the FBI sits up on a floor at the federal building on Golden Gate Avenue in their offices. [00:00:26] They're 100 feet from the actual sales of the drugs that are going on on Larkin Street. [00:00:31] And there's no end in sight. [00:00:33] And there's no cures. [00:00:34] The city of San Francisco, in the budget, is $648 million for homelessness programs. [00:00:40] There's another $300 million in that budget to accommodate the homeless problem. [00:00:44] That's almost a billion dollars of taxpayer money. [00:00:48] We've been here for 30 years watching this. [00:00:50] It's progressively worse. [00:00:51] And the money is spent. [00:00:52] Where's the results? [00:00:53] It's worse today than it was 30 years ago. [00:00:56] And you keep spending and spending and spending.
