[00:00:00]  You know, the word homeless is a propaganda word.
[00:00:02]  It's designed to make you think that the people that are living on the street are there because rent is too high, housing is scarce.
[00:00:09]  Well, if that were true, we would see the worst homelessness in Beverly Hills or Carmel, California, or other very wealthy neighborhoods.
[00:00:18]  But we don't.
[00:00:18]  We see it in the poor neighborhoods because that's where the city leaders have decided to contain the drug-using, drug-dealing, and drug-addicted population.
[00:00:29]  I think the other thing we point out is that rents increased all over the United States, including in warm cities like Miami.
[00:00:36]  That reduced their homeless population.
[00:00:38]  The bottom line is you have as many people living on the street as you allow.
[00:00:44]  San Francisco only shelters one-third of its homeless population.
