[00:00:08]  And it sounds good, but the problem is that we need power when the sun's not shining, the wind's not blowing.
[00:00:12]  So there are forms of electricity generation that It means they can produce electricity whenever you want.
[00:00:18]  And that includes hydroelectric dams, nuclear plants, coal plants, natural gas plants.
[00:00:23]  Solar and wind are weather-dependent renewables so that if the sun's not shining, then you're not gonna generate any electricity out of your solar panel.
[00:00:31]  If the wind isn't blowing, then you're not gonna generate any electricity.
[00:00:33]  So what you end up doing with weather-dependent renewables is you might add them on top of your existing power supply, but you have to maintain that existing power supply because civilization depends on it.
[00:00:44]  When you deprive a high-energy civilization like ours in California of electricity for any amount of time, really, people die.
[00:00:50]  I mean, we have hospitals, we have highways, we have air conditioning.
[00:00:53]  We need electricity to survive at this point.
