[00:00:14] The courts in California decided to implement a policy of We have zero bail, basically telling all 58 counties in California to release people automatically after they committed certain crimes. [00:00:25] What our study has shown is they were reoffending at an astounding rate, committing over 163% more crime than people who posted bail and committing 200% more violent crime than people who posted bail. [00:00:38] In fact, in many cases, within hours, of people being released from custody on zero bail. [00:00:44] They were re-offending, committing new felony crimes. [00:00:46] Sometimes they committed murder, attempted murder, robbery, sexual assault, domestic violence.
