IRS Sends Out URGENT Notice to Millions of Americans
| Copy link to current segment

Time Text
Four days ago, the IRS issued this official notice right here, warning over a million Americans across the entirety of the country that time is running out for them to claim their 2019 refund checks.
And frankly, a lot of money is on the line here, given the fact that according to the agency itself, well, there is currently $1.5 billion worth of these refund checks that have yet to be claimed.
Meaning that if people don't claim their hard-earned money by July the 15th of this year, well, then the U.S. government will be able to hold on to a cool $1.5 billion that they should have actually returned to us.
Now, while I'm sure we all love giving the government as much money as we possibly can, and of course it goes without saying that $1.5 billion will certainly buy a ton of ammunition for Ukraine, well, let me lay out for you what you can do to actually reclaim your money and put it back into your own pocket.
As an aside, I hope that if you appreciate content like this, you do take a super quick moment to smash those like and subscribe buttons so that this video, as well as this important information, will be shared out to ever more people via the YouTube algorithm.
Now, to start with, in terms of why there is so much money that's been left on the table, here's what this official notice from the IRS actually says, quote, And
in terms of the dollar amount...
These refund checks, they average out between all the different states to about $900 per person, which is a decent chunk of change.
Now, if you remember back to the year 2020, because of the COVID pandemic, as well as the associated lockdowns and forced business closures, the U.S. government actually delayed the normal tax filing deadline.
Usually, in a normal year, the tax deadline would be April 18th.
But in the year 2020, the tax deadline was moved to July 15th.
And so people were given three extra months to file in the year 2020.
However, the way that federal law works, as it's laid out here in this document, is that if you did not file your taxes by the deadline, well then you have three years to file them late.
Otherwise, as the statement mentioned, the money that the government owes you will actually expire.
Your funds will actually be instead the property of the U.S. Treasury.
Furthermore, some of the taxpayers that this applies to could lose more than only their refund.
Here's what the statement goes on to say.
Quote, Many low and moderate income workers may be eligible for the earned income tax credit.
For 2019, the credit was worth as much as $6,557.
The earned income tax credit helps individuals and families whose incomes were below a certain threshold in 2019.
Those who are potentially eligible for the Earned Income Tax Credit in 2019 had incomes below, and then below that, the IRS actually listed the four income levels of people who would qualify for the Earned Income Tax Credit.
If you'd like, you can actually pause the video here or screenshot this list.
And as you can see, if you had an income below what's listed there, as well as the corresponding number of kids, well, then you would qualify for that tax credit Which, as the statement says, can be anywhere up to over $6,000.
And so that's all to say, that if you want to make sure that you get as much of your own money back from the government as possible, well, do not wait.
You have until July 17th of this year, which is just a little over a month from now, it's technically July 15th, but because of the weekend, it's July 17th, to sort out all these issues and get your cash.
I'll throw down into the description box below a link to the IRS page where they have all the prior year forms.
You can find all the forms there that you'll need for the year 2019.
Furthermore, there is one other caveat, one other thing that might keep your refund check from being sent back to you.
Here's what the IRS said again in their statement.
Your tax refund checks may be held if you have not filed tax returns for 2020 and 2021 as well.
Meaning that ideally you should file those years as well while you're at it.
Otherwise, the refund might still be withheld.
However, in terms of what you should do ASAP, well, that is file the 2019 returns because the deadline for that is coming up very, very soon.
You missed that deadline and that's it.
And so again, I'll throw all the relevant links down into the description box below of the IRS instructions as well as the forms.
They'll all be down there in the description box below under the subheading IRS Forms.
Once you click on that link, it'll take you to the IRS website, that page on their website that contains all the different PDFs for the different years.
Now, of course, everyone's tax situation is different, and so the best way to navigate that page is by using that search function at the very top.
You can click on it and search for, let's say, Form 1099-2019.
Just type that in, hit enter, and it'll give you not only the forms that you need to fill out, but also, as you can see, it'll give you the instructions on how to do it as well as where to send those forms once you're done.
Again, you have a little over a month to get these 2019 forms done and reclaim your money.
Right now, the government is set to hold on to $1.5 billion of our money.
Let's see if we can lower that to nothing.
But in order to do that, we need to, for one, claim our money, and secondly, we need to share this video out to our friends and family so that they can reclaim their refunds as well.
Along that line, the share button is right there beneath this video.
Consider smashing that button, sharing this video out, and letting the money rain.
Wait a minute.
Is it actually raining money?
Or rather, I should say that this is fake money being printed into oblivion by those geniuses over in Washington, DC. And so before they completely obliterate your life savings, what I recommend you do is to convert that fake money into real money, which is physical gold and silver.
And the best company to use is the sponsor of today's episode, American Hartford Gold.
Who also happens to be my own personal gold and silver bullion dealer.
Now, American Hartford Gold is one of the best companies in the game.
Besides myself, they have thousands of other five-star ratings across the country.
They have an A-plus rating with the Better Business Bureau.
They ship quickly directly to your doorstep.
Their product listings are awesome.
They're stacked with great options of gold and silver bullion and coins.
And best of all, They have amazing customer service.
When you pick up the phone and call them, you feel good because not only do they have friendly staff, but they're a patriotic company that actually sponsors a program like ours.
So you feel good knowing you support a company that supports the truth getting out into the wider American audience.
And so calling them up is a no-brainer.
But best of all, if you tell them that Roman sent you, they will throw in up to $5,000 worth of free silver with your first purchase.
So giving them a call is a real no-brainer.
So hit them up.
It's 866-242-2352.
That's 866- And then lastly, late last week, Mr.
Elon Musk, who is currently the owner of Twitter, he actually commented on one of my episodes and brought it a lot of traction and a lot of eyeballs.
He actually asked whether a community note was necessary for my episode, which it turned out It wasn't, because the episode was 100% factual and did not need any caveats.
And after Elon Musk highlighted that episode, well, it got a tremendous amount of traction.
That particular episode, it covered how the FDA maintains a webpage, warning people not to use a certain drug that I can mention here on YouTube.
But if you dig into that webpage, you will find that the clinical trials that the FDA points to, the ones that are listed on their page, they say the exact opposite.
As ridiculous as it sounds, the FDA claims that that particular drug does not work against COVID, but in order to prove that point, they link to studies on their webpage that says that it actually does.
However, there's a lot more to that story, which unfortunately I cannot talk about here on YouTube due to the regime of censorship.
So if you'd like to check out that awesome episode in its uncensored entirety, you can do so over on Epic TV, our no censorship video platform.
The link to that episode will be right there at the very, very, very top of the description box below.
Just click on that link, head on over to Epic TV and watch that episode right away without any of the censorship regime that we have here on YouTube.
There are no latte-sipping 20-something-year-olds in Silicon Valley who are reviewing Epic TV videos and saying, hey, you can't talk about this because this goes against the official narrative.
None of that there.
Epic TV is a no censorship platform where we can talk about the things that really matter without having to jump through mental gymnastics in order to not get censored by the algorithm.
Again, the link to that episode is right there at the very top of the description box below.
And then, until next time, I'm your host, Roman from the Epoch Times.
