| Good evening, and right before we dive into the main topic, I wanted to quickly mention that over on Epic TV, I just published an awesome interview between myself and Dr. | |

| And now, let's dive into our main topic for today, which has to do with this right here, the CDC, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. | |
| And recently, in a statement that they sent exclusively to us here at the Epoch Times, the CDC claimed that as late as October of 2021, there was no known association between heart inflammation and the mRNA vaccines. | |
| Let me back up for a quick moment and set up the stage for you properly. | |
| Last month, we here at the Epoch Times submitted a Freedom of Information request to a specific team over at the CDC. The team that we targeted our request to was the CDC's Agency for Toxic Substances and Disease Registry, also known as the ATSDR. This is the sub-agency within the CDC that's responsible for analyzing the vaccine adverse reaction data. | |
| And so, since we wanted to know specifically about heart inflammation, we sent our request to this sub-agency. | |
| Essentially, they are the team that's responsible for, among many other things, analyzing any possible adverse reactions which come to those who've chosen to get the vaccine. | |
| Specifically, in our request, here's what we wrote. | |
| Please provide all preliminary, interim, draft, and finalized reports from the Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System Myopericarditis Abstraction Team from April 2nd to October 2nd of 2021. | |
| Now, the reason that we send this request to the CDC in the first place is because, as you might remember, starting around spring of last year, so the spring of 2021, heart inflammation began to be detected at a higher-than-expected rate among the people who took mRNA vaccines. | |
| And so, we here at the Epoch Times wanted to know what type of data the CDC had in their possession during that period of time. | |
| However, wouldn't you know it? | |
| Five days ago, the CDC got back to us with this letter saying that they have no records matching our request. | |
| Here's specifically what the CDC got back to us with. | |

| And now here's what the CDC wrote to us. | |
| The National Center for Emerging Zoonotic Infectious Diseases performed a search of our records that failed to reveal any documents pertaining to your request. | |
| Meaning that the CDC is claiming here to have no internal records regarding the increased risk of heart inflammation all the way up until October of last year. | |
| However, frankly, it gets even more wild. | |
| Because within this response letter... | |
| They actually continue by saying that the reason that they have no abstractions and no internal reports is because the link between myocarditis and vaccination was unknown at the time. | |
| Here's specifically what the CDC's letter goes on to say. | |
| Likewise, we have no reports during that period. | |
| And so essentially, within this letter, the CDC is claiming to have no internal reports regarding myocarditis because during this time period, between April to October of last year, the association between myocarditis and the mRNA vaccines was not known. | |
| Now, that of course makes sense, except for the fact that it's not true. | |
| Because you see, the first reports of heart inflammation were first made public all the way back in April of last year by both the U.S. military as well as by Israeli authorities. | |
| Then, a month later, in May of last year, the CDC announced that they were investigating cases of heart inflammation in vaccinated teenagers as well as in vaccinated young adults. | |
| Then, one month later, in June of last year, when there were already close to 800 reports of heart inflammation within the VAERS system, researchers with the CDC, they were saying that the available data, quote, suggests an association with immunization. | |
| Then, in the next month, in August, those same CDC researchers, they put together a presentation describing the issue of heart inflammation as a, quote-unquote, harm from vaccination. | |
| And so you see, just looking at this very short timeline, just leading up to August of last year, it makes it fairly obvious that the CDC's response to us, the claim in this letter that they don't have any records of myocarditis because there was no known association between myocarditis and the vaccines, is just demonstrably false. | |
| In fact, we here at the Epoch Times reached out to the president of the National Vaccine Information Center asking her opinion about the CDC's response, and here's what she wrote to us in an email. | |
| The claim that the link wasn't known is provably false. | |
| Either the right hand does not know what the left hand is doing at the CDC, or federal health officials are disseminating misinformation about what they knew about myocarditis following mRNA COVID vaccines and when they knew it. | |
| Now, perhaps because of the publicity that their response to us was generating, the CDC actually wound up sending us a correction email. | |
| Here's specifically what a spokeswoman from the CDC sent to us via email, again, after this initial letter was sent. | |
| Quote, Apparently, the CDC needs to make a correction. | |
| The agency is acknowledging that by June of 2021, data began to indicate a link between the mRNA COVID-19 vaccines and heart inflammation outlined that month in two presentations made to government vaccine advisory panels. | |
| Additional data accumulated in subsequent months, ultimately leading to the conclusion that a causative association did indeed exist. | |
| However, such a conclusion required time to accumulate and analyze data. | |
| But again, their correction to us doesn't answer the actual question, because in our original request, we were seeking the internal documents from within the CDC regarding heart inflammation. | |
| Now, of course, they came back to us with this letter saying they had no records to show because back then, they claim at least, to have not known of the link between myocarditis and the mRNA vaccines. | |
| Then they sent us a correction saying that they did indeed know a link and that this statement was technically false. | |
| But then the question still remains. | |
| Where are the documents? | |
| Especially if they admit to knowing of a correlation between the two, then they must have some internal documents to that effect. | |
| However, as of right now, we have nothing. | |
| We did reach out to the CDC's records office, but they have not issued us any response. | |
| Furthermore, it appears that we are not the only ones who are unable to get this information. | |
| That's because once we publish the story regarding the CDC's response to us, Senator Ron Johnson, well, he issued a comment saying that he, likewise, is unable to get this documentation from within the CDC. Here's specifically what the senator said, quote, I have sent two letters to the CDC about the agency's inability to find records demonstrating its use of the vaccine surveillance systems. | |
| To date, the CDC has failed to respond to my letters. | |
| And so, the quest for transparency continues. | |
