YouTube Takes Down New Trump Interview; Anti-White Racism At American Schools | Facts Matter

Good evening.
Two days ago, YouTube took down a newly recorded interview with President Trump because he made claims about election integrity that they allegedly say went against their community guidelines.
Meanwhile, over in Massachusetts, an employee with Smith College, which is an elite all-girls school, published an open letter where she exposed the school's racism towards white people.
Now, over in South Carolina, the newly passed heartbeat bill has just been successfully challenged by Planned Parenthood, at least in the short term.
A judge in South Carolina ruled that abortions can continue, at least temporarily, as the case is moving its way up to the Supreme Court.
Now, over in Montana, lawmakers there are working to get Antifa designated as a domestic terror organization.
However, they are facing challenges because certain people in our own government, including the FBI director Christopher Wray, they say that Antifa is more of an ideology rather than a concrete group.
And lastly, this unbelievable footage from Colorado shows an airplane's engine failing, bursting into flames, and breaking apart, with debris falling from the sky into residential neighborhoods.
Let's go through these stories together.
This is your daily Facts Matter update, and I'm your host, Roman from The Epoch Times.
Now let's start today's discussion by talking about Montana.
Right now, lawmakers in Montana are discussing a new bill that would classify Antifa as a domestic terror organization.
Now, for your reference, if you don't know, Antifa is an anarcho-communist group which was first established by the Soviet Union back in the 1920s in order to establish communism in Germany.
And right now, they have networks throughout America.
And over the past few years, both Antifa, as well as different groups that are ideologically aligned with them, have conducted violent street protests and riots in a number of cities across the country.
I'm sure you've seen some of their handiwork yourself if you've been watching the news.
And now, with this new bill in Montana, they will be officially designated as a domestic terror organization, at least within the borders of Montana.
One of the Republican lawmakers who is arguing for this bill said it this way.
The move would send a message that we as a state won't tolerate a group like this coming into our state.
Now, one of the difficulties of getting this bill passed is that some government officials, including even the FBI Director Christopher Wray, have said that Antifa is more of an ideology rather than a concrete group.
However, we recently sat down with Andy Ngo.
He is an independent journalist who has been chronicling Antifa activities throughout the country over the last several years.
And he told us that Antifa is more than an idea and is also a movement that appears to be organized.
For instance, he described how they have chapters, they have recruitment drives, they have indoctrination materials, they have online group chats, and they have a vast nationwide network.
Furthermore, in terms of their actual goals, Andy Ngo said that Antifa's ultimate agenda is to abolish nation-states throughout the entire world and to create anarchist communist communes.
He said it this way.
They believe that they can actually organize society without a government, adding that adherents often believe that nobody should own private property.
Now, in so saying, according to Andino, most Antifa adherents view the United States itself as being a fascist state that must be dismantled.
And along that line, they have been staging violent protests and recruiting new members throughout the entire country over the last several years.
If you'd like to watch the full interview with Andy Know Yourself, or if you'd like to read more about this bill over in Montana, those links will be in the description box below this video for you to check out.
And by the way, that's the description box that's right below that like button that I hope you take a minute to smash.
As you already know, videos that are like this, talking honestly about what is happening in this world right now, are routinely censored or throttled, meaning their reach is reduced, by big tech giants like YouTube.
However, when you smash that like button that's below this video, you are forcing the YouTube algorithm to share this video out to potentially thousands of more people, letting the truth be known far and wide.
And now let's talk about South Carolina.
Four days ago, the South Carolina governor signed the heartbeat bill into law.
That bill bans the abortions within South Carolina after a heartbeat has been detected in the unborn baby.
Here's how the governor described it in a statement.
Today we made history.
The heartbeat bill is now the law of South Carolina, and we will defend it with everything in us because there is nothing more important than protecting the sanctity of life.
However, as soon as that bill was passed, Planned Parenthood, they sued the state of South Carolina, arguing that lawmakers were trying to prevent patients from exercising their constitutional right to abortion.
Their lawsuit alleged that if the judge did not block the law from going into effect, patients in that state would suffer imminent harm.
And the judge agreed, at least in the short term.
She granted a temporary restraining order which blocks this new law from going into effect.
That judge, by the way, is Mary Geiger Lewis, and she was appointed by Barack Obama.
In her statement, she said that she believes that the plaintiff, meaning Planned Parenthood and the different clinics that they were representing, has a substantial likelihood of winning the case on the merits of their claim that the act violates the substantive due process rights as guaranteed by the U.S. Constitution's 14th Amendment.
The Supreme Court has held that a state may not prohibit any woman from making the ultimate decision to terminate her pregnancy before viability.
And let's pause here for a moment.
When she says viability, just for your reference, that term means the point where the baby could survive on its own outside of the mother.
The judge then continued.
Yet the act expressly bars the provision of nearly all abortions in South Carolina upon detection of embryonic or fetal cardiac activity, which may occur as early as six weeks of pregnancy, or even sooner.
Because the act bans abortion months before any fetus could be viable, plaintiffs are likely to succeed on their claim that the act is unconstitutional.
Now we here at the Epoch Times, we asked the South Carolina Attorney General for his take on the matter, and here's what he told us in an email.
We believe the heartbeat law is constitutional and deserves a vigorous defense to the U.S. Supreme Court if necessary.
Every generation has a right and a duty to revisit issues as important as this one.
The heartbeat law protects life.
Nothing is more important or fundamental.
Today's temporary restraining order is only a first step, but the legal fight has just begun.
So we'll be keeping an eye on this case as it's making its way up through the courts and potentially even reaches the Supreme Court.
If you'd like to read the details of this case for yourself, that link will be in the description box below this video for you to check out.
And now, before we move on to the topic of censorship, I'd like to take a quick moment to introduce our sponsor for today's episode, and I'll do so from the sound room.
The sponsor for today's episode is AMAC, which stands for the Association of Mature American Citizens.
Now I do consider myself a mature American citizen.
However, I'm about 20 years too young to join AMAC. However, if you or somebody else in your family is 50 years old or over, I would consider joining them because there are three main benefits to joining AMAC. The first one is the money saving benefit.
Basically, if you're a member, they give you a ton of perks to restaurants across the country, to retail shops, on insurance plans, on vitamins.
It's a pretty long list.
Actually, it'll be in the link in the description box below this video.
You can check out the full list.
It's pretty long.
The second benefit is that they have an awesome magazine that they sent to your door.
And even though I'm not a member, I have read their magazine and it's really good.
It It's filled with a lot of thought-provoking articles.
And the third benefit, which a lot of people cite as their favorite benefit, is that they actually fight for conservative values on Capitol Hill.
Basically, they're fighting against what they're calling a socialist storm that is brewing in America.
I mean, they're basically the conservative alternative to the AARP, and you should consider joining.
I mean, it's only about $16 every year, but you get a ton of benefits.
So you can click on the link in the description box below this video, or you can go to amac.us forward slash facts matter.
Again, that's amac.us forward slash facts matter, and check them out.
AMAC, thank you so much for sponsoring this episode, and now Roman in the studio, back to you.
And now, let's talk about YouTube.
Specifically, about YouTube censorship.
Two days ago, the YouTube platform took down a newly recorded interview with President Trump.
That interview, by the way, was with Newsmax, and their spokesperson told us that their interview with President Trump was removed because it violated YouTube's community guidelines.
So we reached out to YouTube and asked what was that all about, and here's what they told us via email.
We have clear community guidelines that govern what videos may stay on YouTube, and we enforce our community guidelines consistently, regardless of speaker and without regard to political viewpoints.
In accordance with our presidential election integrity policy, we removed this video from the Newsmax TV channel.
Now, what does that actually mean?
Well, as of late last year, Google, which owns YouTube, announced a new policy which says that they would remove content that misleads people by alleging that widespread fraud or errors changed the outcome of the 2020 U.S. presidential election.
Because nothing says that the election was safe and secure more than the fact that you're not even allowed to talk about it.
Now, in that Newsmax interview, which has now been deleted, President Trump alleged, among a few other things, that he actually won the 2020 election.
And although the interview has been deleted, Newsmax later posted a new video of their host, a man by the name of Greg Kelly, summarizing and playing portions of the Trump interview.
And now, by the way, this is a very interesting development, particularly because later this week is CPAC, which stands for the Conservative Political Action Conference, and every year it's pretty much the most important conference for conservatives in America.
And it has now been officially confirmed that President Trump will be making a speech at this year's CPAC. It'll actually be his first public speech since leaving the White House.
In fact, their communications director confirmed to us, to the Epoch Times, that he will be a keynote speaker on Sunday, which is February the 28th.
Now, President Trump has been a frequent speaker at CPAC, even before he took office.
Last year, he issued a dire warning to Americans about socialism during his speech at the 2020 CPAC. Here's what he said.
Far-left radicals have become increasingly desperate and increasingly dangerous in their quest to transform America into a country you would not recognize, a country in which they control every aspect of American life, just as socialist and communist movements have done all over the world.
They are cracking down on all dissent and demanding absolute conformity.
They want total control.
Now, in terms of what President Trump will likely be discussing at this year's event, one Trump senior advisor said that he will likely be talking about the future of the Republican Party, as well as the lessons that were learned in the 2020 election campaign.
And it's the second point which might make it difficult for you to be able to watch the speech on YouTube, because if the president veers into the subject of election fraud, the entire video might be taken down just like that Newsmax interview.
Now, regardless, our team will be down at CPAC speaking with the attendees and interviewing the speakers.
So I hope you check out our coverage of the event later this week.
If you'd like to know more about this interview with Newsmax that was removed by YouTube, or if you would like a bit of a preview of this year's CPAC, those links will be in the description box below this video for you to check out.
And now let's talk about Colorado.
Imagine for a moment that you are sitting in an airplane.
You just left Denver and you are flying to warm, beautiful Honolulu for vacation.
You're sitting in your seat, you turn your head slightly, and then you see this out your window.
That unbelievable video footage was the real sight aboard a Boeing 777-200 on Saturday a few days ago, which had 231 passengers and 10 crew members on board.
The plane suffered a catastrophic engine failure in its right-wing engine, and flames, as you saw, were coming out of it, and the plane was losing altitude.
On the ground, take a look at these photos.
People were finding plane debris falling out of the sky and landing on their properties and on parks basically everywhere.
Miraculously, the plane landed safely at Denver International Airport, and according to local authorities, no one either on board the plane or on the ground was hurt, although a lot of people reportedly were deeply shaken.
I know I would be.
Now, the National Transportation Safety Board is investigating the incident right now, and authorities have not released any details about what may have caused the engine failure.
However, yesterday the Federal Aviation Administration, or the FAA, said that it's issuing an emergency directive requiring immediate inspections of all similar planes, similar to the Boeing 777 in this video.
The agency's director clarified that this means that some airplanes will likely be removed from service amid the inspections.
Now, if you'd like to watch that video for yourself, or see some of those photos of the debris falling from the sky into the ground, those links will be in the description box below this video for you to check out.
And now, let's switch gears a little bit and talk about a less controversial topic—racism.
A staffer at Smith College has resigned, and she published a letter accusing the school of creating a racially hostile environment against white people.
And for your reference, by the way, Smith College is an elite woman's school in Massachusetts.
Now, this staffer, her name is Jody Shaw, she used to be a student support coordinator at the college.
However, she recently sent a resignation letter to the college's leadership saying that the environment left her physically and mentally debilitated.
In the letter, she wrote that,"...I can no longer work in this environment, nor can I remain silent about a matter so central to basic human dignity and freedom." Now what exactly is she referring to?
Well, in that letter, she said that the culture of the school had changed forcefully after a 2018 incident when a black student accused a white staffer of racism for calling college campus security on her.
An investigation showed no evidence of racial bias, but the college put in place a list of initiatives aimed at fighting systemic racism on campus.
However, based on this staffer's account, the ideology that was driving these efforts seemed more concerned about inflaming anti-white sentiment rather than mitigating any form of racism.
Here's what she said in her letter.
I endured racially hostile comments and was expected to participate in racially prejudicial behaviors as a continued condition of my employment.
I endured meetings in which another staff member violently banged his fist on the table, chanting rich white women, rich white women, in reference to Smith alumni.
I listened to my supervisor openly name preferred racial quotas for job openings in our department.
I was given supplemental literature in which the world's population was reduced to two categories, dominant group members and subordinated group members, based solely on characteristics like race.
Now, in that same resignation letter, she then went on to say, Every day I watch my colleagues manage student conflict through the lens of race, projecting rigid assumptions and stereotypes on students, thereby reducing them to the color of their skin.
I am asked to do the same, as well as to support a curriculum for students that teaches them to project those same stereotypes and assumptions onto themselves and others.
I believe such a curriculum is dehumanizing, prevents authentic connection, and undermines the moral agency of young people who are just beginning to find their way in the world.
Now what's interesting to note here is that she said that other staffers at the college were also deeply troubled by these developments, but were too terrified to speak out about them.
This staffer also said that last month she attended a mandatory staff retreat focused on racial issues.
She said that at this retreat, she was not comfortable answering personal questions from the facilitator about race and racial identity.
However, this is what she wrote happened.
Later, the facilitators told everyone present that a white person's discomfort at discussing their race is a symptom of white fragility.
They said that the white person may seem like they are in distress, but that it is actually a power play.
In other words, because I am white, my genuine discomfort was framed as an act of aggression.
I was shamed and humiliated in front of all my colleagues.
This staffer then filled out a workplace complaint, but she felt that it wasn't taken seriously enough on account of her race.
She wrote that, She then said that she was stripped of her duties, which she suspected was a retaliation for filing her complaint.
Now, by the way, this is not an isolated incident, as more and more of these cases are coming up across the country.
For instance, a public school in New York City is asking parents to reflect on their whiteness, and they passed out literature that extols white traitors who dismantle institutions.
As you can see, the literature came complete with this nice graph, which tracks the eight white identities, starting from white supremacist all the way to white traitor and white abolitionist.
And it's not just in schools, either.
Just a few days ago, a self-described whistleblower inside of Coca-Cola released images of slides which were allegedly part of the employee's online training.
These are the images from the Coca-Cola whistleblower.
One says, Understanding what it means to be white.
Challenging what it means to be racist.
Another slide reads, And this is my favorite slide.
It just says, Now, to be fair, and give you both sides of the story, Coca-Cola did release a public statement about these slides.
Here is their statement for your reference.

We will continue to refine this curriculum.
If you would like to read more about what happened over at Smith College, if you would like to read the full letter, the full resignation letter from the staffer who quit, or if you would like to read more about critical race theory, which is the quasi-Marxist ideology behind all of this, well, those links will be in the description box below this video for you to check out.
And now lastly, as we already mentioned in a previous episode, YouTube made the unilateral decision to demonetize our channel, to demonetize Facts Matter.
In fact, on the very same day that Joe Biden was sworn into office, YouTube stopped our ability to monetize our content.
We can now no longer run any ads before, during, or after our program, and the Super Chat feature has just been disabled.
Which, if you know anything about independent publishers like the Epoch Times, cutting off advertising is basically like choking us out.
It's basically like stifling the freedom of press.
Although it's done in a very roundabout way where there is culpable deniability.
However, if you would like to support honest, independent journalism, if you would like to support our deep investigations, then I will throw a link into the description box below this video to a page where you can subscribe to the Epoch Times.
