And whatever you did, it just turned red.
Let me see.
melody krell
Oh, maybe it was your internet.
elijah schaffer
Let me see.
Well, I think that's fine.
I mean, I guess that's the end of the show.
unidentified
Okay, great.
melody krell
Sorry.
unidentified
Sorry.
I don't usually do a plug at the end, but it just cut.
The streams all just cut.
elijah schaffer
Someone's like, hey, stream randomly cut, but two hours, not bad.
It's like, yeah, well, that's not bad at all, actually.
unidentified
Well, maybe did it purposely click off at two hours.
elijah schaffer
No, I don't know.
I don't, I don't, I mean, I am completely, are we live right now still or no?
Let me see.
I think we're live right now, right?
melody krell
Okay.
Check, check, check.
unidentified
All right.
elijah schaffer
So I guess we are.
melody krell
Oh.
elijah schaffer
Yeah, yeah, we're back.
melody krell
Oh.
elijah schaffer
So I don't know what happened.
It's just like our stream just like, just like went off.
It was like, I'm done.
And now we're suddenly back.
We can see you again on Rumble.
Yes.
Unfortunately on YouTube, we're not, but that's a good thing to plug there.
unidentified
Okay.
elijah schaffer
Summarizing, there's only one last thing I want to talk about as we close up.
I know you're tired.
So let me just bring this up to you.
This idea of today of Trump putting out his tweet.
It's the tweet heard around the world.
I guess it's called the truth, right?
I'm going to bring it up.
This was very important to talk about.
There's a lot we could have gone into, but let me go down.
Okay, here we go.
Our great farmers and people in the hotel and leisure business have been stating that our very aggressive policy on immigration is taking very good longtime workers away from them with those jobs being almost impossible to replace.
Don't you always really have to read it in his voice when you read this stuff too?
Like, jobs being lost is impossible.
In many cases, criminals allowed in our country by very stupid Biden open border policy are applying for those jobs.
This is not good.
We must protect our farmers, but we get the criminals out of the USA.
Changes are coming.
I'm a lobbyist for the GOP and different things.
I was at a lobbying meeting for immigration at Mar-a-Lago recently.
And it was like, you know, a very interesting thing.
Lobbying is a weird job.
It pays well.
It's dirty, though.
And one of the things I thought was quite interesting about it was like, you know, they were trying to lobby for the H2B visas, which are definitely way better than H-1Bs because these are temporary seasonal workers that go home.
So like particularly a good example is like, if there's like a, it's like clubs that only have seasonal, we have a seasonal, like we have a high season and there's not enough people to work for like those three months.
So you bring people in to just help for like three months and then they go home.
And obviously, because no Americans want those jobs, you go, what about Americans?
Americans don't want them because they don't want three months a year and then to have no job.
So, you know, it's tough.
And the only Americans that want those are ones here.
They have to move state to state.
So they'll work, you know, the summers up in the clubs in New York and they come down and work the winter here.
And that's fine, whatever.
However, not all immigration is the same, but it seems like Trump here, where's the negotiations here?
It seems like he's like, somebody he knows is getting hurt.
Somebody he knows is losing a lot of money and it's causing problems.
And now he has to make exemptions.
He's talking about amnesty for farm workers and leisure workers.
Him keep throwing it in leisure makes me think that it's not a farm worker that's he that is there.
It's the hotel, but the food one is the easier one to push because it's like, well, we need our food, you know?
And it's like, and also to go to the pool.
melody krell
So they put all his money into technology for him, maybe?
Well, certainly he has a seasonal club.
But what I think is, again, I feel like there's a lot going on in the background here.
And, you know, I just, I don't, I don't like this amnesty thing, but I think that if people have had jobs for a long time in this and are applying year after year and they're getting their visas and they're working seasonal jobs, that they should have the opportunity to apply and say, you know, I've worked every year at, say, I don't know, Mar-a-Lago for the six months it's open to the public.
Then I go up to Nantucket for six months and back and forth.
I mean, those are what people come in for.
People that, you know, it's disappointing, but on to me to see all this, but I have a feeling that there's negotiations in the background and he's trying to juggle so many things.
And, you know, I don't know why he goes out and makes these announcements that, you know, feel like gut punches to people.
But that's, you know, he says what he says and he does what he does.
But at this point, what's very sad is that I don't think our children want to work.
Like, I honestly, some of these jobs that they're talking about, me and Rob talked about this today.
I couldn't wait to work.
When I was 16, I got a job at Fridays.
elijah schaffer
Drive too, right?
You wanted to drive?
unidentified
Oh, yeah.
melody krell
But I wanted to work.
I wanted to be, I wanted to work at TGI Fridays when I was 16 and I did.
And a lot of kids did.
All my friends worked by the time we were seniors in high school, basically.
I don't think kids want to work anymore.
I mean, I think that there's a cultural problem here.
So when we say, you know, you want people to take those jobs, do they even know where those jobs exist?
I just think the whole system is such a disaster for the underground economy that's been going on for now, you know, 50 years.
I just don't know what the solution is.
If it is really that, you know, this is about that.
I don't know.
I just feel like he's negotiating with 13 different people behind the scenes, trying to make everyone kind of happy.
And it's, I don't know, it's hard to figure out what he's doing.
I just know that he's in a very hard situation because nobody wants him to succeed.
elijah schaffer
And you can't make excuses for him anymore, Mel.
Like, you can't, if you try to please everyone, you please nobody.
And that's what I feel like he's trying to do.
You know, like you sit around and it's like, you know, look, and I'm going to say this.
This is not any comparable of what we're doing here.
It's like, look, we launched a show like two weeks ago and people have these like massive complaints.
All these people like, I don't like this.
And this is like, dude, it takes like three or four months to even just like kind of figure out what you're doing.
I get with a show and like where you want to go with it.
And it could take years to develop a show into what it needs to be, you know?
And you sit around here and you're complaining.
I get it.
Everyone's complaining about everything.
You look at the nation.
Everyone wants it to be something else.
Everyone has their own idea of where we should go.
You kind of have to choose what you want.
And it seems like he is not doing what he thinks is best.
He's trying to please everyone, including with the immigration today.
You know, it backfired and Newsome kind of dogwalked him on it a little bit and was like, dude, look, we got, it's working now.
Everyone continue, which is why I'm actually going back out into the field because I guess people are going to continue to push because Newsom called on the Californians and different people in the country to push back.
You know, he's like, keep going.
melody krell
But I want America to succeed.
Who cares about these people?
Why are these politicians even running our lives?
This wasn't supposed to happen here.
I'm just saying politics has become so disgusting and toxic and gross.
I wish that they would just do their jobs as jobs.
And it's just, it's just very sad to watch this.
I just feel like the American people are being so screwed every single day in every single way.
I don't even, it's just all so disappointing sometimes.
But I want America to succeed.
And I don't like that a lot of people want, it seems, Trump or even worse, America to fail.
Because if we do fail and we become a failed state, believe me, we are going straight into technocracy and the nation state, not just of the United States, nation states in general will be run over and we won't be able to stand anymore.
elijah schaffer
Yeah, let me see.
I'm trying to see, don't go to my screen here.
Don't go to it.
Let me see if I can.
I'm trying to find where the super chats are.
Give me a moment.
unidentified
Dashboard account overview.
elijah schaffer
Oh, here they are.
Yeah, I want to make sure I have these because it went out.
My guest today, Mel Kay, who's been streaming for 33 hours today, believe it or not, 33 and made it.
A couple more of these chats.
I guess I can't read the full one here, but someone said, Elijah, I've been watching since it was you and Savannah and said that the show's now gotten worse.
Just King's actually gotten better.
I did see that one.
And also some said a bit unrelated.
Let me see if I can read.
I think I can see this one.
This one in the chat.
Let me see if I can go back to my things.
It's just when it reset, guys.
Sorry, it kind of messed up my ability to read the chats.
But Joshua Tries once said, oh, Lai, a bit unrelated, but growing up, going to public school made me into a little racist.
Getting there on the public school bus made me extremely racist.
Shout out to Mendoza Report.
That's our producer, Michael Mendoza.
So one of the things that I want to tell you is that, yeah, so Mendoza's out tonight.
Sometimes we'll have more and less staff.
Even tomorrow's episode is just going to be like remote.
We're all going to be on it.
Sarah, myself, or whatever.
We're all going to just be around the world because we're going to be reporting.
And so a lot of times shows will have a different amount of staff.
And I also, I have, like, the hard part is right now is that we have funding and money here, but I don't want to waste.
I don't take lightly when people are investing into something.
So some of the problems that we have here with like staffing and structure and like having permanent panel guests on and things like Sarah's stock and stuff, I'm just trying to make sure that I am a good steward with the gifts that God has given me.
And so I could just do what a lot of media companies do, take money from people, burn them through it as fast as humanly freaking possible, and then end up bankrupt in a year.
And then they start another company, another company, another company.
I'm trying to do something slow and steady wins the race, right?
We're like a woman.
The show is, we're going to be pleasured slow, but eventually we'll get there.
It's true, though.
So meaning I have to kind of figure a lot of things out.
And we're very small, you know, on staff.
So there's some positions that we'll probably be hiring soon as well and doing some growth.
And these won't just be like on-camera positions.
I'm trying to find somebody who can be a permanent contributor here every night on the show.
Whether Mike's producing, whether Mike's producing, but somebody who can be a permanent producer, but also can also produce in the back and can help with some of the YouTube strategy on this show specifically and with Sarah's show.
So kind of like an all-around person who will be helping out.
We're kind of looking to hire someone like that that, you know, you're good on screen, but you're also skilled behind the scenes.
So you don't think you're getting hired to sit behind a screen for two hours on a seven and nine.
It's like you're working in the building and you have experience, you know, producing Producing and helping us with the shows because we have a lot ahead of us.
We have a few other shows that we're starting.
We have a show, yeah.
So, we've created a partnership with a major distributor, which I don't want to say yet because we're still making the contracts, but we're going to be producing a bunch of shows for them.
And, you know, again, even Sarah's show that we're working on, we need help though.
And it's really hard with us, like four or five guys just kind of doing everything, including running the website and whatnot.
So, I really appreciate it.
Shout out to the whole team and everyone working hard.
I think, Hannah, you've been here since like what, 10 a.m.
Yeah, yeah, I've been here since 10.
Yeah, so shout out to everyone working hard.
It's been amazing.
I appreciate the whole team.
And, you know, but I'm telling you guys, please be patient with us because kind of launching a network type thing and trying to keep it at the level of like, you know, we have a website and we have, you know, like 20 articles coming out a day and this and that doing it all is actually a lot of work for a small team and researching and running, you know, like 10 different social media platforms and cutting and clipping and yada yada yada.
I mean, while we're doing the show, we have our clippers putting out live clips from the show while we're going.
I mean, we're really, really, really having a good team here.
If you ever want to be a part of the Rift team and, you know, you think that would be something good for you, think that you could be an on-screen contributor.
You don't even need to have a big following.
You just need to be talented.
I'm looking for someone who's very talented on air and on off-air, multifaceted, essentially another me.
I really, I am.
I'm looking for somebody who can come into this network and has the balls to put in 14-hour days, 12-hour days.
Not every day.
You can do like 10-hour days and eight-hour days, but wants to build this with us and wants to come alongside.
That's the only people who work here are people like Mike and stuff who are just dedicated, you know, and no one's getting paid what they're worth.
Everyone's just dedicating to this.
And so if you're interested in moving to Florida and you want it, that's a position that you would want, let me know because, you know, that is something I'm open to because getting people to move to Florida is very, very hard.
I don't know why, but people just don't want to move to Florida.
I don't, this is like one of the coolest freaking places.
South Florida is like a dream, right?
melody krell
I love it.
elijah schaffer
Isn't it awesome?
unidentified
Yeah.
melody krell
Yeah.
elijah schaffer
Here in LA are the only places that I've lived where it's like amazing, except not LA now.
It was like when it was.
unidentified
Right.
elijah schaffer
You know, yeah, it was in the day.
Very cool to live there.
melody krell
Back in the day.
elijah schaffer
And now it's like a shithole.
Anyway, Mel Kate, thank you.
And I was going to remind you guys: if you want to win this, all you have to do is take a picture of yourself, either reading the book where the right went wrong or watching the book club last episode on Sunday and send it to mike.mendoza at rifttv.com, a picture, and we'll be doing a giveaway and submit it because we're going to be doing giveaways for the next four weeks.
And so just because you lose this giveaway, your name still goes in the raffle.
And so you can still get picked for the next four weeks.
So again, send it to mike.mendoza rifttv.com and you can win this Kindle worth several hundred dollars.
Anyway, Mel K, author, speaker, and also historian.
How can we find and follow you?
How can we see that?
melody krell
Themailk show.com.
It is on my website.
I have a free resource page.
A lot of the things I talked about today, I have the documents on the resource page that can explain much of what I said and give you the receipts.
Also, I am on X. I'm very suppressed there.
I had to start over, but it's at Mel K show, Know The, and then Instagram, the email K show.
And I have a show every morning at noon on Rumble, live stream, and then nightly interviews and a QA on Wednesday night.
That's it.
elijah schaffer
Isn't it so annoying having to start over because suppression?
melody krell
Yeah, I mean, it's happened to me multiple times.
elijah schaffer
Yeah, by the way, I know, and I was going to say that you said what happened to YouTube.
I'm not going to get the whole story, but like, they're so evil because listen to this, they, they, like they said, if you don't delete your whole catalog on YouTube, we're going to delete your channel.
But if you just delete it, you'll be fine.
Here's what I found out in the background.
If you delete your catalog, what it does, it's called a dead subscriber.
It no longer registers that any of your subscribers have watched your videos in the last 30 days because now no one has watched you.
So then it'll just take you permanently out of the recommendation and kill your channel overnight.
And there's no way to redeem it because how do you get those other 500,000 people to all watch?
And then after six weeks of them not watching an episode, it permanently downranks you.
So they fucked the whole channel.
And so that channel's dead.
To put it into perspective, isn't this crazy?
We had about 100 people watching live on the new channel with 1.8K subs.
We had about 290 watching live on the channel with 550,000 subs.
That's how badly they ran out.
melody krell
It's happened to many, many people.
If they didn't kick you off for life, like me and a bunch of my other friends, they throttled everyone's stuff.
It doesn't matter.
Google should be taken down.
The level of power they have over information, particularly the disgusting CIA operation known as Wikipedia, it's making people stupid because they only use the globalist-funded media as sources.
It takes seven pages to get to any kind of conservative opinion when you Google something.
Google's a disgrace and it's a danger to our children.
elijah schaffer
Well, that's why, but I'm saying that's why I'm getting back on the field because back in the day, despite being kept out of the club, I had forced myself in by like going doing good work.
And when you do real investigations, you would hope.
You know, you know, like, I mean, even Mike Benz has been doing a great job.
You know, data Republicans, people that have been doing good research.
Although, I sometimes wonder if Mike Benz is like an intelligence officer.
I don't know.
Is he not?
melody krell
I don't think so.
elijah schaffer
You know him, right?
Is he real?
unidentified
Yeah.
elijah schaffer
He's just, whenever I hear former Fed, I can't see.
melody krell
No, I've seen him in real life.
I mean, he's a nice guy.
I don't really judge anyone.
I feel like we're all in terrible danger.
And everyone that's putting out information that's empowering people to empower themselves to get out there and take back their country and start treating the Constitution and Bill of Rights like it matters, matters.
I don't really care.
I just hope people are being inspired by the information they're sharing.
Data Republican, I've been in touch with too.
There's a lot of great people.
It's just everyone stop being so hard on everyone else.
I mean, everyone's doing the best they can.
There's a lot of moving pieces.
I don't know what to say, but I do know that our country is run by criminals and has been for a very long time.
And it's time that the American people demand some accountability.
elijah schaffer
Amen.
And by the way, someone in the chat just said, love you, Mel.
I watch you every morning, MLK show, you and Rob.
So there you go.
That's really nice.
Shout out to everyone in the chat.
You can also find me at Locals or on X. I'm at Elijah Schaefer.
You'll see a little fun little thing like go across the screen or something.
There you go.
There's my name.
You can see it there.
Boom.
Elijah Schaefer.
You can follow me everywhere.
And I was going to say, the hard part with starting over is you have to have a vision for the future.
And I want to remind you that have been long SOBs.
You've been around for a long time.
Like, I'm not going to say I'm not going to call anyone out, but I'll talk to people to be like, you know, by the way, you know, things haven't improved here, this and that.
You know, it's been like, dude, it's been two weeks.
unidentified
Like, so much work.
elijah schaffer
It's going to take a solid year before we probably even start seeing anything to where we even kind of wish it would be today.
And it's like, you just got to have that energy every day.
You have the same momentum and the same energy.
You have to be a star before you shine in the sky.
It's true.
That's what they say.
You got to have that energy.
And so every day you got to come with that, even when your bitch is making you angry.
You still got to come with that.
unidentified
You still got to come with that.
elijah schaffer
Or your husband's or someone's pissing you off for the ladies out there, just pissing you off.
You got to still bring that energy to your kids, right?
You've got to be a good parent.
He's got to come out and really bring that drive.
So anyway, I appreciate you guys watching.
You can follow Snowflake here.
Snowflake underscore news on X. Great.
You guys to come check it out.
Yeah, like 10 new posts almost every day, some days when he has time.
So, yeah.
So it's really good stuff.
Anyways, appreciate you guys.
Mel, thank you so much for coming on.
melody krell
Thank you, sir.
I appreciate it.
elijah schaffer
It's been absolutely fantastic.
To the rest of you guys, have a great rest of the week.
Mel needs some sleep.
We'll be leaving in the morning.
Follow updates on locals.
Have a great rest of the week.
May God bless the United States of America.
