[00:13:55]  And even then, guys who were violent were kept in prison far longer than any left-winger who was violent over the last eight years.

[00:14:16]  And from what I just saw on X, some people in power, in positions of power, like the Attorney General of the state of Pennsylvania, want to keep it going.

[00:14:55]  So people have been in jail rotting as this administration does.

[00:15:12]  Multiple reports on X. Philadelphia DA Larry Krasner, A progressive Democrat is exploring state charges against pardoned U.S. Capitol rioters from Pennsylvania.
[00:15:28]  Should already be illegal to be from Pennsylvania.
[00:15:30]  I agree.
[00:15:31]  This would face significant legal hurdles.
[00:15:33]  Okay, you get a point for that, Marshall Cohen.
[00:15:37]  But he told me, not me, Ron Coleman, but Krasner told Cohen, you can have a state prosecution for conduct that was not fully encompassed in the federal prosecution.
[00:15:47]  Well, that is true.
[00:15:48]  You can, it's not double jeopardy.
[00:15:50]  A state can prosecute someone for something that the federal government has prosecuted them before.
[00:15:58]  Historically, it was more the other way around.
[00:16:01]  You've offended two sovereigns.
[00:16:04]  So that doctrine really came into being when we saw during the Jim Crow era, you would have states where people would be routinely acquitted of lynching, no matter what the evidence was, because good old boys, they just have a little fun.
[00:16:23]  And in would come the federal government and after the Civil Rights Acts were passed and started and started.
[00:16:30]  So this is now the opposite.
[00:16:32]  This is now the opposite.
[00:16:33]  States are now going to rush in where feds fear to tread.

[00:16:52]  So I've been under, they were trying to go after something different than trespassing because I had the credential from the sergeant of arms there for press.
[00:17:00]  So even though I didn't go through security, let's just say this, I skipped security that day to get in.

[00:17:06]  Second highest press pass in, you know, other than private press, but besides the press corps of the White House, it's really hard to get you trespassing.
[00:17:13]  So they tried to get me on wiretapping.
[00:17:15]  And people always ask, you know, they always say, are you a Fed?
[00:17:17]  Why didn't you get prosecuted?
[00:17:18]  Well, I've been under investigation and they've been trying to push charges.
[00:17:22]  I was convinced that if Kamala won, then they would actually go after the journalists.
[00:17:25]  It was going to be really hard because the problem was that New Yorker and a lot of their friends, you know, BBC, they were all inside.

[00:18:20]  If Kamala won, they were going to go on deeper charges.
[00:18:23]  The guy coming on tomorrow cleared himself in jail a couple months ago.
[00:18:27]  And then the DOJ brought nine new felony charges for him after he cleared himself in court while he was in jail.

[00:18:32]  And he just got pardoned and got released.
[00:18:34]  I think that we are on the precipice of something much darker, much deeper.
[00:18:37]  That's why the win is, is that, look, we might be coming back to normalcy.
[00:18:41]  Like these people should have never been charged.
[00:18:42]  And you wish that there was some sort of beyond clemency, some big restitution, some reparations or something for this.
[00:18:48]  My black people, we do believe in reparations for January 6th.
[00:18:51]  I do think that we have to give a win for at least getting back to base normal, right?
[00:18:55]  I mean, you're not in jail.
[00:18:56]  If some bitch ass on Twitter was like, oh, all you care about is the January 6th pardons.
[00:19:01]  I was like, well, I do care that me and my staff are not in prison.
[00:19:04]  So I don't know about if you guys are children or retarded or both, but making sure the people you love aren't in jail for crimes that they should never be charged for is a top priority.

[00:21:38]  You know, what's astonishing is that lawyers around the country, criminal defense lawyers, civil rights lawyers, have had so little to say about this historic, high watermark of American political persecution.

[00:23:23]  It's also chilling to think that people are so ambitious that they would sign up for that, that duty, to be that prosecutor.
