Time Text
One of the things that I thought was really interesting was at the height of COVID, you know, Wajeki and YouTube approached a lot of the big conservative media companies.
And I'm going to give this really a positive impact to Blaze Media during the time, is that they rejected this offer and they didn't submit to this.
A lot of companies did, is that if you didn't, you know, criticize the vaccines, if you kind of towed off on some of the globalist narratives, you would not be restricted, you would not be demonetized, and you would get algorithmic favorability.
And I will say that these other companies that are supposed to be your champions of right did accept these offers, and they did not only kowtow, they completely submitted to Big Tech and kind of said, well, we're going to...
we're going to exchange our values for your money and also demonize anybody who calls this out and say that they're the ones that are wrong.
This is not just through COVID.
This is through all of recent history that the thought leaders and the representatives, for the most part, not all of them, and that's why I'm not using names because a lot of people are resistant and are genuine, have traded and sold out.
So let's go with you, Carl, because you've been around for, I hate to say, that sounds so mean, you've been around for a long time.
I'm old.
I'm old.
You're an old sack of shit.
Can't I just be old?
Can't I just be aged?
I've got gray beard and everything.
Come on.
So to my decrepit, wrinkling guest, my question to you is I can't even stay serious in any interview damage.
It's not false.
Leftists are this hostile to me, Jesus.
I've been around Australians too long, man.
Everyone's an asshole for the more.
I believe it.
So I was like, ah, what's up, fucking Kant?
And you're like, oh, sh, what's up, Dad?
Hi, Mom.
How are you?
Good morning, mom.
Thanks.
Oh, yeah.
That's when you use an O in mom instead of a U.
Yeah, you just never say that.
Let's just begin there.
So let's start with conservative media.
What do you see as the main problem with conservative media as a whole?
With the conservative media ecosphere, there's a general lack of support for one another, which I find perplexing because it's not like we have institutional friends, right?
In the same way that the left-wing media does.
And you'll notice that left-wing media, they are all hand in hand, shaking these hands constantly.
And there is a very well-connected network of people who generally run left-wing media.
Do you remember Ezra Klein's journal list?
No, enlighten me.
Right.
So this was some, I can't remember what format it was.
It was just some email list or something like this, where basically all of the, well, not all of them, but a large number of left-wing journalists were basically in some kind of email forum together, coordinating and talking and essentially conspiring in order to push narratives and advance an agenda.
And they can do this because they all actually kind of just agree on what the agenda is.
And so they're very happy to promote one another.
And this leads into a feedback mechanism where the entire ecosphere just grows broader and grows bigger very, very quickly.
And it's something that conservative media actually needs to start learning about.
That cross-pollination is good for everyone.
It's one of those things that I'm very quick to have guests on our shows.
Not for the reason that, like, you know, oh, it'll grow everything bigger.
But I mean, it will.
But also because it helps forge bonds.
You know, they are deeply, deeply untrustworthy people, and yet they all work together.
lockstep, hand in hand, goose-stepping down the road to leftist paradise.
And it's one of the things that conservative media does.
And I think it's because the conservative mind, and I understand why this is, you know, it's a respectable thing.
It's independent.
It's, I want to make my own way.
I should be, you know, my own man.
That sort of base instinct the conservative has.
It's very laudable, but it means that a lot of conservatives tend to struggle on their own more than they need to when they could actually speak to people of like mind and work with them.
I haven't got any particular people in mind when I'm saying this.
And in the past few years, things have been getting better, actually, I have to say.
I've seen a lot more sort of, you know, just conservative crossovers.
But there are lots of people who haven't spoken and I think really should.
And it just, it blows my mind that there's such a disconnect between certain conservative outlets.
And I find it frustrating, frankly.
It is a really interesting point you make about how people are sort of like in their own individual direction and they're not even working together towards a common goal.
If there was to be a common goal that would unite them, this is actually, I never even heard anyone answer this.
What would be the common goal that would unite these people?
From somebody who's, by the way, you've been on the inside.
You've met a lot of these people.
What really could unite them?
Well, that's the question of what is the point of conservatism.
That is, because the left knows exactly what the point is.
They are in some way all aiming for what we could just broadly call communism.
To put a final point on it, they are all looking for the alleviation of physical restraint on the will.
That's all of leftism summarized.
And so in some way, they all notice how when something happens, the gas stove thing is the most remarkable example of watching the left fall into line like fucking Nazi foot soldiers.
It's like, how are you all on board with gas stoves?
All of a sudden, like, it's just flip-flip-flip-flip-flip.
All these dominoes just fall.
And suddenly all of the left, oh, yeah, gas stove's bad, always been bad, always hated gas stoves.
You don't have an opinion on fucking gas stoves.
I know AOC doesn't have an opinion on gas stoves.
You know, like the day before yesterday, she had never mentioned it.
And now she's a bloody expert on it.
No, you're not.
You are not.
You got a set of talking points from someone.
And it was clear that, in fact, what you could do is start reducing people's living standards in order to overcome capitalism.
That's what you're doing.
Everyone can see that's what you're doing.
Everything you do is just anti-human, anti-the good of the normal person.
And this is very easy for them all to see.
Oh, this helps this cause or this helps the general cause that we're fighting for.
Good, we're all in, right?
Conservatives don't have a unifying vision like that.
And that's because essentially the conservatives don't really stand for anything.
They stand for not going quite as fast as the left, as you said in your opening monologue, wants to go.
And the thing is, that's kind of the point of conservatism.
I mean, it's kind of in the name.
We accept progress just not as quickly as you guys.
That's it.
I want to give a huge shout out to my sponsor, which is Pixetine.
Now, guys, you know, whether you're trying to smoke a cigar, a cigarette, a vape, you can't do that in a lot of places.
And for me, I don't want to smoke cigarettes because of the harmful chemicals in them.
I don't like vapes.
I think that they're gay and they're lame, but I do love a good cigar every once in a while, but I can't smoke it around kids, pregnant women, etc.
Many of you guys have habits you're looking to kick, and there's a better alternative out there.
That's nicotine-infused toothpicks by Pixetine.
Now, they come in amazing flavors like winter fresh mint, cinnamon.
I encourage you to try those if you haven't already.
But if you're looking for a better way to kick a habit, a better way to get your nicotine buzz doesn't have all the smell, all the grossness that comes with the other options.
This is a great option for you or for someone you love who you've been trying to push to kick the habit.
Or maybe you just love a good nicotine buzz.
You don't want to smell.
This is a great option for you as well because you can use it in trains, planes, automobiles, anywhere you want to.
It absolutely has no restrictions.
