Slightly Offensive - Elijah Schaffer - Los Angeles "Baby Bullies" EXPOSED Aired: 2019-05-22 Duration: 11:36 === Pro-Choice Protests in LA (08:38) === [00:00:00] Sometimes corpses have more rights to their bodily insides than women zoo. [00:00:04] I'm letting her know who you are. [00:00:06] Yeah, we're not ashamed of that. [00:00:07] She's fighting for the right for abortion, but she wants to take away, she wants to stop me from interviewing people. [00:00:12] She doesn't care about my rights, but she cares about her rights. [00:00:14] very mature [00:00:29] Another episode of slightly offensive we are [00:00:51] We are just down the road from a pro-choice, pro-abortion protest in Los Angeles, California. [00:00:59] And I'm really happy that we are out here in mass numbers fighting for the rights to take the life of our unborn children because LA is the perfect place for this to happen. [00:01:10] It's nice. [00:01:11] It's beautiful. [00:01:12] We have the quality. [00:01:13] We have everything taken care of. [00:01:15] And it's a city like this that shines as a beacon of hope for the rest of the world that is the exact player that should be giving their opinions to the rest of the country. [00:01:26] Why should Alabama, Georgia, and other states listen to people here in California? [00:01:31] If you just look around you, you know and you understand that we have our stuff together in California. [00:01:38] So listen to us, you bigots. [00:01:39] Listen to us, you xenophobes. [00:01:41] Listen to us, you woman haters. [00:01:43] We've got everything under control and we're coming to control you too. [00:01:47] This is Elijah Schaefer, your favorite gay black woman, here with another episode of Slightly Offensive in Los Angeles, California. [00:01:53] We hope you enjoy the show. [00:01:55] So what's your sign saying why are you here? [00:01:58] Keep out of my uterus. [00:02:00] I'm here for the abortion bans to protest that. [00:02:02] My name's Glenn and I'm strongly in favor of a woman's right to choose whatever direction she wants her body to go. [00:02:08] How about you? [00:02:09] Well I'm not really here to answer questions. [00:02:11] I'm more here to like just get people's perspectives. [00:02:13] No, but I'm suspicious. [00:02:14] I think Blaze Media is pretty right-wing. [00:02:16] We are definitely a conservative media outlet. [00:02:18] Yeah, I'm not happy with where the right wing has taken this and it's overreached by any terms. [00:02:24] Well, the male voice shouldn't be a part of this argument because it's not their body that they're trying to legislate. [00:02:32] What happens is people in California, who they live in their own state, get so upset at other states for having state rights. [00:02:39] This is a very authoritarian side of California. [00:02:40] It's like, you can't have your own rights in your state. [00:02:43] You can't make your own laws. [00:02:44] This is America, but America is just what California and New York wants. [00:02:47] Wrong. [00:02:49] That doesn't really, it's not really true. [00:02:50] It's not exactly how it works, but, uh... [00:02:54] It's AL, not LA. [00:02:55] It's AL, not LA. [00:02:57] just made that up but it's Alabama not Los Angeles because that shit is coming all our ways We got to stand up for our rights. [00:03:12] And this is crazy. [00:03:14] All they want to do is, you know, force their views upon us because they want us to be this perfect idea of what they think women are. [00:03:23] We're objects to them. [00:03:24] We're not human. [00:03:28] Are you a local LA native? [00:03:30] Yeah. [00:03:30] Awesome. [00:03:31] And so obviously a lot of these laws are in typically conservative states. [00:03:35] What do you feel like Californians have to add to the conversation in, let's say, the state laws in Alabama? [00:03:41] I mean, we're definitely allowed access to a lot more things. [00:03:45] We're around a lot more people that support us. [00:03:49] And, you know, I got a lot of family in the South, so that shit hits home, you know? [00:03:53] And I got a lot of people back there that could be affected by this. [00:03:58] It just makes me want to fight for them too, you know? [00:04:01] Obviously, like just what people say that is the original like Roe v. Wade laws were made by white men and so men did make those decisions. [00:04:08] So today, obviously, the argument is that there's mostly men, but the governor was a woman. [00:04:14] Do you think, what do you think is the best argument other than that against the new laws in Alabama and Georgia? [00:04:21] You know, these things are going to happen regardless. [00:04:24] Women are going to get abortions regardless. [00:04:27] you know, these rich white men are going to have their mistresses and their wives and their daughters get abortions regardless. [00:04:34] And I honestly think that minorities get disproportionately more abortions than white people. [00:04:41] I mean, that you know of. [00:04:44] Well, like the Planned Parenthood Statistics reporting. [00:04:47] I guess. [00:04:48] But at the end of the day, it doesn't really have to do with them. [00:04:52] It's not their body. [00:04:55] It's not their decision. [00:04:57] And this is going to happen regardless. [00:04:59] Are they going to do it safely or unsafely is really where the line is thrown. [00:05:04] They are pro-Copic. [00:05:05] Oh. [00:05:06] And anti-abortion. [00:05:07] Oh, what did you say about us? [00:05:12] I'm being honest. [00:05:12] I just want to know. [00:05:13] What's your background? [00:05:14] Blaze Media. [00:05:15] Yeah, and what's your guys' stance? [00:05:17] Our stance, I mean, we're not supposed to be taking, we're here to cover this event and what your stance is. [00:05:21] But me, I mean, I'm pro-life myself, but that's why I'm here to talk to people who aren't pro-life. [00:05:26] Are you telling people that before you interview? [00:05:28] I mean, we're wearing all of our logos and branding. [00:05:31] Are you talking to people? [00:05:33] Reporting in the state of California, you don't need to tell people your views to find out their views, just like you don't have to kill someone to report on a murder. [00:05:42] You can just record and report and ask more questions. [00:05:44] I'm not informing her because you didn't inform her, so I'm letting her know who you are. [00:05:47] Yeah, I mean, we're not ashamed of that. [00:05:49] Tell people your stance. [00:05:50] Well, that's not how reporting works. [00:05:51] Please, I don't tell you how to do your job. [00:05:53] You don't tell me how to do my job. [00:05:54] Do you mind me getting a couple comments from you on what it is that you stand for? [00:05:59] I'm not actually here to talk to media. [00:06:01] Sorry. [00:06:01] Okay, great. [00:06:02] Thank you. [00:06:02] Can I ask your perspective as a young woman? [00:06:04] What do you think that the role of a male might be in this argument, considering the opinion, no uterus, no opinion? [00:06:12] I think what media are you? [00:06:14] Blaze Media. [00:06:15] And who are you? [00:06:16] The second largest center-right media company in the country. [00:06:20] Got it. [00:06:20] I actually don't want a chat tonight, but thank you so much. [00:06:23] Okay, awesome. [00:06:23] Thank you. [00:06:24] It's very satanic here. [00:06:25] It's very loud. [00:06:26] It's very car horny. [00:06:28] A lot of yelling and confusion and shouting and weird costumes. [00:06:31] A lot of chaos and confusion here. [00:06:53] It makes total sense. [00:06:55] Not surprised, not surprised. [00:06:56] They don't want to talk to you because you don't what? [00:06:59] Behind you. [00:07:00] Oh, cool. [00:07:01] Awesome. [00:07:01] Could you, what's up? [00:07:03] Do you want to take a picture of us? [00:07:05] Are you filming or taking a picture? [00:07:07] I'm filming. [00:07:07] Okay, great. [00:07:08] You are now in an interview In a public space, but what's very what's what yeah, you you're yes, you are. [00:07:15] Um, all right, great. [00:07:16] So, so what's very interesting about this is, ma'am, we can film each other, we can be petty or you could be an adult and just leave me alone. [00:07:25] Thank you. [00:07:26] All right. [00:07:27] So, this is what happens. [00:07:29] I mean, they distrust the media so much that if you're not fully a left-wing media outlet, they won't talk to you, they'll film you, they'll record you as if you're like the devil when you're really just here to talk to people. [00:07:42] And I think that brings up an interesting perspective out here in LA is that why is it that there's such a trust of the left-wing media knowing that they'll agree with the notion other than report on it accurately that anybody who doesn't fully agree with the narrative, they won't speak to. [00:07:58] It's very interesting. [00:07:58] I'm not intimidated because I don't let people intimidate free press, and I don't, I don't, yeah, I don't let that happen because I think I have the right as an American and under my press credentials to do what I want in this state. [00:08:10] So does she, but it's very, very authoritarian, very big brother, very, this is the kind of person that wants to take your rights away. [00:08:18] She's fighting for the right for abortion, but she wants to take away, she wants to stop me from interviewing people. [00:08:22] She doesn't care about my rights, but she cares about her rights. === Fetal DNA Rights (03:13) === [00:08:25] Very mature. [00:08:27] This is why our job is difficult because people like this get in the way. [00:08:31] It's like, I'm just trying to do my job, so is she. [00:08:33] I'm not bothering her. [00:08:34] She's bothering us. [00:08:35] So goes life. [00:08:37] But it's cool. [00:08:39] The way that the law was passed, right, these laws are because they were able to show that the growing, we'll just call it the fetus, right, in this case, has its own DNA, has its own DNA, blood type. [00:08:49] How do we respond to the fact scientifically that it shows on a medical perspective that it's not the woman's body? [00:08:55] That it's not what? [00:08:56] I said on a medical perspective, that's what the critics are saying in Alabama and Georgia, is that since it has its own DNA and its own blood type, the growing fetus, that it's not the woman's body since it's a different type of person in terms of science. [00:09:11] How do we refute that? [00:09:14] Well, like I said, like, well, first of all, I feel like a lot of those states are also challenging women who would even be, like, young-ass women who should be able to, I think, ultimately, you are the one out in the world. [00:09:31] You're the one living this life, and you should get to say what happens with whatever, and that comes down to each person's decision that they make, you know? [00:09:36] and that comes down to each person's decision that they make, you know? [00:09:54] Honk if you wanna murder babies. [00:09:56] We are out here closing up the day at this pro-choice march. [00:10:01] It is so insane that people are protesting so they can kill their children. [00:10:09] I don't, I just don't, I like, in a lot of ways, I don't have words for that. [00:10:13] And they're so cruel and so, so mean, such terrible people. [00:10:17] Like, look at that. [00:10:17] That's such a terrible person blocking our camera while we're trying to do our job. [00:10:21] But I'm not mean to them. [00:10:22] They're mean to us. [00:10:23] Thank you so much for watching another episode of Slightly Offensive with your favorite gay black woman, me, Elijah Schaefer, as a minority and a champion of women's rights and trans individuality. [00:10:31] I would say that it's so crazy that I'm getting so much transphobic abuse on my end. [00:10:35] Make sure you like, share, subscribe. [00:10:37] Check out the links below. [00:10:38] We need your support always to donate, slightlyoffensive.com slash donate, PayPal Venmo, whatever you feel, whatever's your jive, and help us keep independent media and journalism alive. [00:10:48] Signing out, God bless the United States of America. [00:10:50] I think it's a woman's right to choose when they murder somebody. [00:10:54] And if it's, you know, you know, the saying, I brought you into this world, I can bring you out. [00:10:58] That's where this came from. [00:10:59] And it's like the oldest tale ever told, and there's no reason to go against it. [00:11:03] And if you hate it, you hate women. [00:11:05] All women agree that you should be able to murder the unborn. [00:11:08] It's very unfortunate to see people go against that and try to stand up for the lives of the most innocent. [00:11:14] It's disgusting. [00:11:15] Do you know what's funny actually? [00:11:17] We are getting more pushback for Blaze Media than we are for being self-effensive, which is even funnier. [00:11:22] Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. [00:11:23] But it's actually what's really nice about it, though, is now we're just going to get Blaze Media to have more shit against it in LA. [00:11:32] Everybody knows, I didn't know all the liberals know Blaze Media. [00:11:35] Yeah. [00:11:36] They all know it.
