[00:00:04]  I want to talk about this.
[00:00:06]  Obviously, up top, so many people are flooding into my inbox and saying to me, you predicted this plane crash, which was obviously terrible.
[00:00:17]  We're not making jokes about it.
[00:00:20]  We did that on the Patreon, Patreon.com, Tim Dylan show.
[00:00:25]  But not about the plane crash, about the CEO statement, which was bizarre.
[00:00:29]  It was just bizarre.
[00:00:30]  Like the CEO was like, it was run.
[00:00:33]  It was, he was like, it was an American Eagle.
[00:00:36]  He goes, it was operated by whatever.
[00:00:38]  And then he goes, and that is a wholly owned subsidiary of American Air.
[00:00:42]  Like it was like, it just felt odd to get into the corporate structure of the actual carrier.
[00:00:48]  But it's tragic.
[00:00:50]  Obviously, a Blackhawk helicopter collided with the plane on final approach into DCA, Reagan National Airport in Washington, D.C.
[00:01:01]  I don't usually fly into Reagan.
[00:01:03]  I have, but usually I've, you know, the many times I've been to D.C., the majority of them I've driven.
[00:01:12]  It's not an airport that I know particularly well.
[00:01:16]  I called my guy, my private check guy, and he kind of filled me in on that approach that they were doing, which is a pretty common approach because they don't want you flying over the Pentagon or the White House.
[00:01:26]  And then you're coming in and there are a lot of helicopter training exercises being done.
[00:01:33]  There was actually one the night before this happened where a plane had to, and I read about this, a plane had to abort a landing because of a helicopter that was flying very low.
[00:01:45]  And that happened literally 24 hours before this plane tragically crashed into the Potomac.
[00:01:51]  So it's not a new problem.
[00:01:53]  And it just underscores what I've been saying about flying, that if you fly in America, you're going to die.
[00:02:01]  There's no other way to say it.
[00:02:03]  You're going to die.
[00:02:05]  Maybe not now.
[00:02:06]  Maybe not this particular flight you're listening to this podcast on, but you will die.
[00:02:12]  And you'll probably die horribly by plunging into freezing cold water.
[00:02:17]  And there's nothing you can do about it.
[00:02:19]  There's absolutely nothing you can do about it except embrace that as a fact.
[00:02:24]  Every plane I get onto, I think I'm going to die.
[00:02:27]  It is the healthiest way to think.
[00:02:30]  This is it.
[00:02:32]  The fact that I'm going right now to perform in Milwaukee is the choice I have made and I'm going to die.
[00:02:39]  And when the plane lands, you have cheated death.
[00:02:43]  You have cheated it.
[00:02:44]  When those wheels hit the runway, you have cheated death.
[00:02:48]  Not forever, momentarily.
[00:02:52]  Because everyone in aviation is shot.
[00:02:56]  And that's why I predicted this, because every person that I have seen from the flight attendants to the pilots to the gate agents to that guy who fucking pulls out that hose and gases up the plane, all of them are shot.
[00:03:11]  Many of them are convicts, felons.
[00:03:14]  They are shot.
[00:03:15]  These are people who are at the end of their rope.
[00:03:18]  They are treated poorly.
[00:03:19]  They are not paid as well as they should be.
[00:03:22]  They are exhausted.
[00:03:25]  They are overworked.
[00:03:26]  They are dealing with the American public, which has become an increasingly unruly group.
[00:03:33]  And they're dealing with these psychopaths 30,000 feet in the air who want to change their seat, who are screaming and yelling.
[00:03:40]  Many of them sneak on.
[00:03:41]  They try to sneak on the plane.
[00:03:42]  They don't even have, these are sick people 30,000 feet in the air.
[00:03:48]  There are fights.
[00:03:50]  People are vaping and they're blowing the smoke in the face of a baby.
[00:03:54]  And then these people have to be the first line of defense.
[00:03:57]  They have to go and say, can you stop vaping and blowing it on that baby's head?
[00:04:01]  And then they get hit.
[00:04:03]  There are air marshals.
[00:04:05]  People are being dragged off planes.
[00:04:07]  It is a hellish nightmare in the air.
[00:04:11]  There are drones.
[00:04:12]  There are helicopters.
[00:04:13]  There are private planes.
[00:04:14]  There are other things going on.
[00:04:18]  There are kids in the suburbs with laser pointers trying to down these things for fun because they're bored.
[00:04:23]  Because they're bored.
[00:04:25]  Okay?
[00:04:26]  There is, you are going to die in a plane.
[00:04:28]  There's no other way to say it.
[00:04:30]  That trip to Disney World will be your last.
[00:04:34]  It is crazy.
[00:04:36]  Wichita fucking DC.
[00:04:38]  Nobody thought.

[00:04:41]  And it sucks.
[00:04:43]  And it's terrible.
[00:04:44]  But it's terrible now.
[00:04:48]  I mean, the best case is you get black mold, like that Delta flight and you start vomiting.
[00:04:54]  The best case on an airliner right now is you get norovirus is the best case on a plane.
[00:05:01]  The best case on a plane is that your literal best case on a plane right now is that they will not let it take off because a schizophrenic has gone insane.
[00:05:10]  Pray a schizophrenic loses their mind on your flight and they have to take it to the gate.
[00:05:15]  That's the best case.
[00:05:17]  When the wheels leave the ground, you're dead because no one's paying attention.
[00:05:23]  They're drunk.
[00:05:25]  The pilots and the flight attendants are drug addicts.
[00:05:29]  When they have a day off, they just do drugs.
[00:05:32]  I've asked them.
[00:05:33]  This is what they do.
[00:05:34]  They go to parties into Mali, and that's fine.
[00:05:38]  But a lot of them are still coming down on the plane.
[00:05:41]  So the best case scenario is when you are sitting on the tarmac, pray to God someone starts screaming.
[00:05:47]  Maybe you be the person who starts screaming.
[00:05:50]  If you don't hear someone screaming on your plane, you start screaming so that they will not let that plane leave the ground and they take it back to the gate.
[00:06:02]  The best thing you can hear on a plane right now is we are, hello, ladies and gentlemen.
[00:06:06]  This is your captain speaking.
[00:06:07]  We are going back to the gate because of a security issue.
[00:06:10]  Good.
[00:06:11]  I'm going home.

[00:08:17]  And I was high and I, 35 miles an hour, accelerated into the back of another car and then I just left.

[00:10:49]  The duties of handling air traffic control for helicopters and those for planes at Reagan National Airport on Wednesday night were combined before the deadly crash between an Army Blackhawk helicopter and an American Airlines regional jet, according to a person briefed.
[00:11:06]  Make that a little bigger if you could.
[00:11:08]  The left, that left one air traffic controller handling dual roles, okay?
[00:11:16]  Dual roles, according to the person briefed who was not authorized to speak publicly about the investigation into the crash.
[00:11:24]  So someone left early.
[00:11:26]  And I hope it weighs on their conscience.

[00:11:34]  Because I would have been that person.
[00:11:37]  But it wouldn't have weighed on my conscience because I'm a strong person.
[00:11:41]  And if you're going to leave jobs early and perform in a way that endangers other people, as I have my entire life, you have to live with it.

[00:11:55]  The point is this, I, because of my negligence in my jobs, have endangered many people.

[00:13:00]  Typically, the tasks of handling helicopter traffic and managing the planes are divided from 10 a.m. to 9.30 p.m. at the airport, according to the preliminary report.
[00:13:08]  After 9.30, the duties are normally combined with traffic lessons.
[00:13:12]  But an air traffic control supervisor combined those duties sometime before 9.30 p.m. and allowed one air traffic controller to leave early.
[00:13:22]  So this is the supervisor's fault because they're trying to curry favor with some other supervisor they're probably having sex with.
[00:13:29]  I have no proof of this is my guess.
[00:13:31]  Or they want to have sex with.
[00:13:36]  The staffing configuration was not normal for the time of day and volume of traffic.
[00:13:41]  So a supervisor said, hey, it looks a little light.
