The David Knight Show - GREATER Replacement: AI Guru’s Plan to Wipe Out ALL Jobs" Aired: 2025-04-24 Duration: 04:36 === Universal Basic Income for AI? (04:26) === [00:00:07] Well, this is kind of a twist. [00:00:09] You know, we always talk about universal basic income, and we have one guy who stirred a lot of people, got him quite upset because he said he's founding a company that is going to take everybody's job. [00:00:23] Everybody's job. [00:00:23] And he's trying to convince us that that's a good thing. [00:00:27] And a lot of people are pushing back on this, like, well, no, that's not a good thing, because, you know, now he's going to take their jobs as well. [00:00:34] And he says, oh, no, this is excellent. [00:00:37] It's already paying top AI researchers to just sit around and not work for the competition. [00:00:43] But in a sense, when you look at this, universal basic income, I guess we could say, is going to eventually come for the artificial intelligence guys too, perhaps, right? [00:00:52] This is a stretch on the non-compete stuff. [00:00:57] And so they're more than willing, if somebody leaves, just to make sure. [00:01:02] That they're not going to work for the competition. [00:01:04] They will pay them for a year. [00:01:06] And as a lot of these people are saying, the artificial intelligence field is moving so quickly that after a year, yeah, they're pretty obsolete. [00:01:13] We don't have to worry about that at all. [00:01:15] So you just put them on the bench for a year. [00:01:17] And that's the same as taking them out of the industry and making sure that they're not pulling over something that you just discovered. [00:01:22] I mean, these things are, when you look at it from the standpoint... [00:01:27] Of image creation and video creation, these different companies are leapfrogging each other on about every two-week basis. [00:01:33] Not clear who's going to be the leader in all of that. [00:01:36] But this is coming out of Google, and they call it a garden leave, where basically they keep you in a walled garden and they pay you to stay there. [00:01:44] And it is, in a sense, in kind of a microcosm, what they're looking to do with universal basic income to everybody. [00:01:52] So it's this famed AI researcher, they say. [00:01:56] I don't know who the people are, the players in this. [00:01:58] This is a guy who's got a lot of, he's very well known. [00:02:03] He launched a startup to replace all human workers everywhere. [00:02:08] That's the mission of this company. [00:02:11] TechCrunch had the story, they said, every now and then a Silicon Valley startup launches with such an absurdly described mission statement. [00:02:19] That it's difficult to discern if the startup is for real or if it's just satire. [00:02:24] Except that this guy kind of doubled down on it. [00:02:27] He's somebody who's very well known in the industry, and he kind of doubled down on it when he got pushback. [00:02:33] The company is called Mechanize because they're going to mechanize the workforce. [00:02:37] You're going to be replaced with either chatbots if you've got a white-collar job, or you'll be replaced with robots if you have a blue-collar job. [00:02:45] The non-profit AI research organization that he founded is called Epic, and a lot of people coming after him on social media. [00:02:55] It was launched last Thursday, a week ago, via a post on X by its founder, who's a pretty famous AI researcher, according to... [00:03:05] He said, you know, the market potential here is absurdly large. [00:03:09] Workers in the U.S. are paid about $18 trillion per year in aggregate. [00:03:13] For the entire world, that number has got to be three times greater, maybe $60 trillion per year. [00:03:18] Well, who's going to pay to buy anything? [00:03:21] Are the robots going to be buying your product? [00:03:24] No, you're not going to pay the robots. [00:03:27] Do these people think this stuff through? [00:03:29] I mean, it's pretty crazy. [00:03:40] The common man. [00:03:43] They created common core to dumb down our children. [00:03:47] They created common past to track and control us. [00:03:50] Their commons project to make sure the commoners own nothing. [00:03:54] And the communist future. [00:03:57] They see the common man as simple, unsophisticated, ordinary. [00:04:02] But each of us has worth and dignity created in the image of God. [00:04:07] That is what we have in common. [00:04:11] That is what they want to take away. [00:04:13] Their most powerful weapons are isolation, deception, intimidation. [00:04:18] They desire to know everything about us while they hide everything from us. === Thank You For Sharing (00:17) === [00:04:24] It's time to turn that around and expose what they want to hide. [00:04:29] Please share the information and links you'll find at TheDavidKnightShow.com. [00:04:34] Thank you for listening. [00:04:35] Thank you for sharing.
