The David Knight Show - Canadians Suggest Stopping a HUGE Export to USA: Porn Aired: 2025-03-17 Duration: 07:43 === Ethical Bot Pornhub (06:11) === [00:00:07] It's a proposal from some Canadians, and they've actually started a petition saying, Canada has a nuclear weapon in the trade war. [00:00:18] Pornhub. [00:00:19] So I guess, you know, if you're talking about a bomb, I guess we could have some blonde bombshells that they want to withhold from us. [00:00:28] I didn't realize that Pornhub was Canadian. [00:00:32] And actually, it began in Montreal. [00:00:36] It was bought in 2023 by a company that goes by the name of Ethical Capital Partners. [00:00:44] They bought Ethical Bot Pornhub. [00:00:49] And it turns out, why do they call it Ethical? [00:00:52] Well, it turns out it's owned by an Orthodox rabbi, Solomon Friedman. [00:00:59] Oh, it gets even more interesting. [00:01:00] This is far more interesting, actually, than the fact that you've got some people saying, hey, let's cut off Pornhub to America. [00:01:08] By the way, in between all of this stuff is MindGeek. [00:01:12] So MindGeek was the owner of Pornhub. [00:01:15] And then I think there was another holding company above it that had a whole bunch of porn sites. [00:01:25] That all got that company, that holding company, was bought by ethical capital partners. [00:01:31] Business Insider headline for March of 2023, the fund that just bought Pornhub owner MindGeek won't say who's running the company due to, quote, unfortunate stigma, unquote, says the report. [00:01:46] The unfortunate stigma of being a pornographer? [00:01:50] This rabbi. [00:01:53] It was profiled in the Jewish Independent. [00:01:57] A rabbi who, they said the headline was, the rabbi who owns Pornhub. [00:02:04] Said he was ordained an Orthodox rabbi, but his day job is a lawyer, and his passion is making pornography. [00:02:13] Hmm. [00:02:14] Well, hence the name, I guess. [00:02:18] Ethical. [00:02:20] So, yeah, it's... [00:02:23] It's kind of interesting. [00:02:23] You know, Oliver Anthony was on the Joe Rogan program a couple of months ago. [00:02:28] And they had a discussion about that very thing. [00:02:31] In that business. [00:02:32] I believe it's one-third of internet traffic worldwide or something bonkers like that. [00:02:37] Yeah. [00:02:37] Isn't it something like that? [00:02:38] It should be more. [00:02:40] Let's find out what it is. [00:02:41] What's the percentage? [00:02:42] And everybody's like, I don't know where it's coming from. [00:02:45] It's not me. [00:02:46] I've never even seen one of these films. [00:02:49] That stuff's terrible for people. [00:02:52] It's terrible for some people. [00:02:53] I gave that up. [00:02:54] I think it's like Adderall. [00:02:55] Some people can handle it. [00:02:57] That is one thing I had to give up. [00:02:59] Some people think they can. [00:03:01] Yeah, because it's... [00:03:01] I don't know. [00:03:02] It does disconnect you from reality in many ways. [00:03:06] I think a lot of the weird perversion we see coming out... [00:03:11] Now at this point you read about... [00:03:12] I mean, I even reference some of it in the song, of course, but you read about a lot of the weird things that people are doing that maybe wouldn't have been accepted 100 years ago. [00:03:19] I think... [00:03:20] People go down these rabbit holes with porn, and they start off with the video with the milkman, and by the end of it, it's like, where did I end? [00:03:29] It's almost like a drug. [00:03:30] People have to keep chasing that thrill, and it takes them down very destructive rabbit holes, if you will. [00:03:35] It definitely can for some people. [00:03:37] I have no issue with anybody watching it, but I hate to read about some of the things that it does to people. [00:03:43] It ruins marriages and that kind of thing. [00:03:45] I don't know. [00:03:47] I think a lot of things ruin people. [00:03:49] I think they also should be legal. [00:03:52] Sure, yeah. [00:03:53] Like, alcohol ruins people. [00:03:54] I like the fact that bars are legal. [00:03:56] Shit, I own a bar. [00:03:58] Alcohol is legal. [00:03:59] I like it. [00:04:00] It's not good for everybody, though. [00:04:02] Some people drink alcohol and they lose their fucking mind. [00:04:05] And it's not good for them, whether it's genetically or whatever it is. [00:04:08] They can't have a drink. [00:04:10] I like a drink. [00:04:11] You know, and I support your right to do whatever you want. [00:04:14] Like, you know, I think... [00:04:18] If cocaine was legal, the same amount of people would probably do it, and it would be real. [00:04:23] You'd get pure cocaine. [00:04:25] It'd probably be better. [00:04:26] We'd probably have better music. [00:04:30] Yeah. [00:04:31] I don't know. [00:04:32] Maybe we could have better podcasts if Spotify wasn't so focused on having somebody who is promoting destructive behavior to people, which is what he's doing. [00:04:44] Look, I don't believe that prohibition, as I've said over and over again, prohibition doesn't solve anything. [00:04:50] It certainly doesn't solve addiction issues. [00:04:53] It doesn't solve sin issues and everything. [00:04:55] But just from your own personal standpoint, do you want to be enslaved to something? [00:04:59] That's what addiction is. [00:05:01] Why don't we just start, instead of calling it addiction, Let's call it slavery. [00:05:05] Slavery to sex. [00:05:07] Slavery to drugs. [00:05:09] Slavery to alcohol. [00:05:10] Which is what Joe Rogan is selling. [00:05:12] Which is why they pay him something like $25 million a year. [00:05:16] And they won't even let me on Spotify. [00:05:19] Because he's selling this slavery to you. [00:05:24] Slavery of your mind. [00:05:25] Slavery of your spirit, of your soul. [00:05:28] All kinds of slavery. [00:05:30] Oh yeah, some people can't handle it. [00:05:32] I can see these people in the gutter. [00:05:35] I'm not one of them. [00:05:36] Oh, I can handle it. [00:05:37] Those are the lies that you tell yourself. [00:05:40] Those are the lies that the demons tell you. [00:05:45] But they're not true. [00:05:46] They're absolutely not true. [00:05:47] So Pornhub is the most visited site in the U.S. with more than 3 million views a month. [00:05:54] And so, again... [00:05:57] That was Oliver Anthony. [00:05:59] That was about the time, I guess, that he had his, you know, had everything with it. === Ilo's X-Rated Empire (01:39) === [00:06:03] I don't know, how long ago was that? [00:06:04] Was that last summer even, maybe? [00:06:07] Richmond, north of Richmond. [00:06:09] A petition has since been launched urging Canadian authorities to block Pornhub as a peaceful yet powerful response to the trade dispute. [00:06:18] Please do. [00:06:18] Please do. [00:06:20] New Yorkers, meanwhile, were aghast of the prospect of losing Pornhub, whose parent company is Montreal-based entertainment conglomerate ILO. [00:06:28] They don't mention the fact that ILO is owned by Ethical. [00:06:32] And who owns Ethical? [00:06:35] ILO owns a dozen popular X-rated sites. [00:06:38] If they take away my access to Pornhub, I'm moving out of the U.S., said one person to the Post. [00:06:43] I think this is jokes. [00:06:45] Canadians wouldn't do that to us, would they? [00:06:47] said another. [00:06:48] I thought they were supposed to be nice. [00:06:49] I thought we were supposed to be friends until we had Trump in anyway. [00:06:54] Hello, it's me, Volodymyr Zelensky. [00:06:56] I'm so tired of wearing these same T-shirts everywhere for years. [00:07:00] You'd think with all the billions I've skimmed off America, I could dress better. [00:07:06] And I could... [00:07:07] If only David Knight would send me one of his beautiful grey MacGuffin hoodies or a new black t-shirt with the MacGuffin logo in blue. [00:07:16] But he told me to get lost. [00:07:18] Maybe one of you American suckers can buy me some at thedavidknightshow.com. [00:07:23] And David is giving a 10% discount to listeners from now until 2025. [00:07:29] At that price, you should be able to buy me several hundred. [00:07:32] Those amazing sand-colored microphone hoodies are so beautiful. [00:07:37] I'd wear something other than green military cosplay to my various galas and social events.
