The David Knight Show - Trump Offers Foreign Millionaires More Freedom Than Americans Aired: 2025-03-05 Duration: 11:10 === $5 Million Green Card (10:45) === [00:00:00] Trump's Commerce Secretary claims that 250,000 people are already waiting for gold cards, but there's nowhere for them to sign up. [00:00:17] So they rolled this out before they had their... [00:00:19] That's why we had to keep the coin. [00:00:21] We had to get the website set up before we put it out there. [00:00:25] I want to look a little bit deeper at this thing that's going to be happening, some of the lead-up to this so-called Bitcoin Reserve. [00:00:33] Which is really not about a reserve at all, I don't think. [00:00:35] And I think he really kind of tipped his hand when he talked about that. [00:00:40] Another compliment there from 12 June 1776. Thank you very much. [00:00:43] I appreciate that. [00:00:45] And Trucker Chris for the win. [00:00:48] Thank you very much for the tip. [00:00:49] I appreciate that. [00:00:51] Let's talk a little bit about what they are planning to do, because this all folds into... [00:00:56] You know, the robber barons and the technocrats and everything. [00:00:59] Because, again, this, you know, history rhymes. [00:01:02] It doesn't exactly repeat. [00:01:03] We had the robber barons were there with railroad businesses and stuff like that. [00:01:07] Now these robber barons in the 21st century have got their AI and their crypto coins and all the rest of this stuff. [00:01:14] The gold card visa program. [00:01:18] Touting that there's already 250,000 waiting in line for the visa pathway that the gold card program could soon replace. [00:01:25] He went on, Lutnik did with Brett Baer on Fox News. [00:01:30] Again, spell it P-H-O-X for the pharmaceuticals that they push. [00:01:33] So if 250,000 people were willing to pay the $5 million that the gold car requires, it would amount to over a trillion dollars to stimulate the U.S. economy and to pay down the national debt. [00:01:46] So the government can filter some more of this to him and to his cronies to purchase stuff that overinflated. [00:01:52] Prices. [00:01:53] Or maybe it's just going to be, like Catherine Ross and Fitz said, a big pump and dump. [00:01:57] You know, put our assets into this volatile currency, pump it up, have it crash. [00:02:02] It's like, oh, sorry, now we're going to have to pay this off. [00:02:04] We're going to have to steal the land. [00:02:07] And we're going to sell off all the land. [00:02:09] Because they're selling off the citizenship stuff as well. [00:02:12] So, are we a slave to this government-created debt? [00:02:16] Oh, yes, we are. [00:02:18] I-O-I-O. That's off to work I go, right? [00:02:21] It's the same thing with these government debts. [00:02:24] It's going to be land and citizenship for sale to the rich to pay off this debt. [00:02:32] Is that the real purpose of Doge? [00:02:36] I think it is. [00:02:37] They want to do this as much as possible, then they're going to have this big pump and dump, then a liquidation cell. [00:02:43] America-thon. [00:02:44] Everything's got to go. [00:02:46] Well, Lutnik said, That this gold card, again, would replace the EB-5 Immigrant Investor Visa Program. [00:02:54] It is not launched, so there's no way to apply for it yet. [00:02:57] It is expected to be there in roughly two weeks. [00:03:01] Now, Trump said, I'm not giving away citizenship. [00:03:04] So what is it that he's giving away with this? [00:03:06] Well, the EB-5 program was a program to get permanent residency. [00:03:14] Very much like a green card type of thing, but with the EB-5s, they were created in 1990 as a method for immigrants to obtain a green card. [00:03:23] To get the green card through the EB-5 program, you had to invest at least a million dollars in a company or $800,000 in a low-income area that would employ at least 10 people. [00:03:39] And we've seen things like this in the Solana Solar... [00:03:45] Scam during the Democrats and things like that. [00:03:49] It's been a corrupt program. [00:03:51] But the interesting thing about the EB-5 applicants is the number of them every year. [00:03:57] Analysis of data tables indicates that there is currently a backlog of anywhere from 24,000 to 60,000 applicants. [00:04:06] But that's nowhere close to the 250,000 applicants that he says. [00:04:11] So he says, well, you've got 250,000 people want to get in. [00:04:15] Well, you've got a program here where they can pay a million dollars to get in, or let's say 800 if they do it in a preferred area. [00:04:23] But let's just talk about a million. [00:04:24] So a million versus five million. [00:04:28] You've got maybe as many as 60,000 people trying to get in on the one million level. [00:04:35] There's going to be fewer people coming in at the 5 million level, but Lutnik is saying 250,000. [00:04:42] Where are these people going to be coming in? [00:04:44] In other words, it's not going to be a trillion dollars coming into the coffers. [00:04:47] It's not going to be that big. [00:04:49] But it will be there for some of their friends who are coming in, and I think that's the key issue. [00:04:54] What country are they going to be coming in from? [00:04:56] Because the EB-5 had limits in terms of how many people could come in from various countries. [00:05:03] I mean, we could have, with this, we could have people coming in from Saudi Arabia. [00:05:08] We could have people coming in from Afghanistan. [00:05:11] You know, I mean, don't tell me that with all the pallets of cash they left behind, you couldn't find some Taliban who could scrape up a measly $5 million to come in and buy permanent residency. [00:05:23] You could have a bunch of Israelis who would come in, you know, the Gaza developers. [00:05:29] Who knows? [00:05:30] I think that there's something here. [00:05:33] They're not expecting 250,000 people, but they want to make a way for some of their friends to come in. [00:05:43] So the U.S. allocates approximately 18,700 EB-5 visas. [00:05:48] It caps the number that can be given to individuals from a specific country. [00:05:54] So I'm assuming that this new program is not going to be... [00:06:00] We might have all the people in the UAE buy an American citizenship. [00:06:06] They can afford it. [00:06:08] In 2024, more than 4,500 EB-5 visas were issued. [00:06:14] So, the EB-5 visa is a way of getting the green card. [00:06:18] What does the green card give you? [00:06:20] Permanent residency, but you can't vote, and you don't have a U.S. passport. [00:06:25] And if you commit... [00:06:27] Certain types of crimes that they've enumerated, they can deport you rather than imprison you. [00:06:34] Okay, so that's what the green card is about. [00:06:36] So the question is, if this is going to be a green card plus, what kind of things are they going to add to it to sweeten the deal? [00:06:47] So that people would pay $5 million instead of $1 million or $800,000. [00:06:53] What is it that they're going to do? [00:06:55] The interesting thing is that they're not going to require them to pay tax on their non-U.S. income. [00:07:03] So the U.S. government has always taxed all foreign income as well as all domestic income. [00:07:08] And so that's going to be the big thing that they're offering these cats. [00:07:12] You know, you can have American residency, but you don't have to pay taxes on your foreign investments that are there, your foreign income. [00:07:22] And that is not what is there with the HB5 program. [00:07:26] The HB5, they get their green card, they've got to pay taxes on everything, including their foreign earnings. [00:07:34] So think about this. [00:07:36] These people come in and give $5 million. [00:07:38] They get benefits superior to Americans. [00:07:42] Because Americans have to pay taxes on any foreign earnings as well as domestic earnings. [00:07:47] But these people with the gold card... [00:07:51] Don't have to. [00:07:53] America first? [00:07:55] Uh-uh. [00:07:56] No. [00:07:57] No. [00:07:58] Money first. [00:07:59] Money first for the Trump administration and everything. [00:08:03] So no cap on the number of goal cards issued. [00:08:06] No caps on any country. [00:08:07] No foreign taxes. [00:08:09] No taxes on foreign income. [00:08:12] No vetting, I'm sure. [00:08:14] 200,000 of these gold green cards is a trillion dollars to pay down our debt, said Lutnik. [00:08:19] Yeah, that's not going to happen. [00:08:21] There's something else going on with this. [00:08:24] Again, just like the tariffs, this is not about raising money. [00:08:30] And, you know, just like tariffs are not about raising money, it's not about protecting an industry, it's about attacking a country. [00:08:35] This has got some other agenda attached to it as well. [00:08:41] They said it's even more unlikely that 1 million foreigners would apply for a gold card. [00:08:47] And they say that because when you look at how many people are millionaires and how many people are wealthy enough that they could pay $5 million for this. [00:08:58] So there's approximately 424,000 people in the world with a net worth of $30 million or more. [00:09:07] And 277,000 of them live overseas. [00:09:09] So if Lucky Lutnik was telling you the truth, which you can pretty much count on the fact that if he's talking, it's not the truth. [00:09:15] I don't think he'd ever tell you the truth about anything. [00:09:19] So he says 250,000 people want to come in. [00:09:21] Well, there's only 277,000 people living overseas who have a net worth of $30 million or more. [00:09:29] Nearly half of the 424,000 people that have a net worth of $30 million, and they just looked at that and said, well, I think this is an arbitrary cutoff point. [00:09:38] If you've got a net worth of $30 million and you really want American residency for some reason, you could afford to pay the $5 million. [00:09:45] But there's only 277,000 people who have a net worth of $30 million or more that are not already living in America. [00:09:53] And the question is, You know, anybody, do we really like a system here where anybody who's got $30 million can be an American? [00:10:03] No loyalty required? [00:10:05] Just cash? [00:10:07] Just cash? [00:10:08] And look, they may not be able to vote, but they can buy politicians. [00:10:15] It's far more important to have the money to buy a politician. [00:10:19] That may be what this is about. [00:10:21] Hello, it's me, Volodymyr Zelensky. [00:10:23] I'm so tired of wearing these same t-shirts everywhere for years. [00:10:27] You'd think with all the billions I've skimmed off America, I could dress better. === Various Galas Gear (00:39) === [00:10:32] And I could, if only David Knight would send me one of his beautiful grey MacGuffin hoodies or a new black t-shirt with the MacGuffin logo in blue. [00:10:43] But he told me to get lost. [00:10:45] Maybe one of you American suckers can buy me some at thedavidknightshow.com. [00:10:50] And David is giving a 10% discount to listeners from now until 2025. At that price, you should be able to buy me several hundred. [00:10:59] Those amazing sand-colored microphone hoodies are so beautiful. [00:11:04] I'd wear something other than green military cosplay to my various galas and social events.
