Music You're listening to The David Knight Show.
As the clock strikes 13, it's Monday the 27th of March, year of our Lord 2023.
Day 1110 days of the emergency.
And it continues. And the emergencies just keep coming.
Wars. Currency wars.
Environmental wars.
We'll be right back.
Stay with us.
Stay with us.
Stay with us.
from RealClearWire.
Americans won't forget what their government did to them during the pandemic.
Really? I don't know.
I looked at Waco this weekend.
I think they've all forgotten.
They're out there cheering the man who did it to them.
Oh, he's just a victim.
No, we're victims. We're victims of Trump.
We're victims of Biden. The two of them are on the same team, in case you haven't noticed.
We're all doing the same things to us.
They just come at us from different angles.
Trump incentivizes it, finances it.
Biden demands it.
But it was demanding what Trump had prepared.
And Trump is preparing us to live in locked-down, smart cities, operating under 5G. He's out there completely oblivious and ignoring the threats to our freedom and liberty and the surveillance state, completely ignoring that, talking about his own plan for cities.
Because it'll be okay if he does it.
If it comes from the Democrats, no, no.
And so we see this happening with CBDC, and Brian Shohavi at Health Impact News had an important point.
He said, look, what have we noticed so far?
I'm very happy to see that finally we've got some politicians talking about it.
We've got two members of Congress.
We've got Emmer in the House.
We've got Cruz in the Senate.
And, of course, they talked about it last year.
And then we have two governors, DeSantis and Noem, talking about it.
He said he noticed they're all from one party, and we've seen this play done before.
Which means that if we politicize this like we did the lockdown, you immediately pick up 50% of the Democrats who will endorse something just because Republicans are against it.
And the Republicans endorse Trump just because the Democrats are against him.
They can't look at what somebody does.
And so as we see Trump holding court...
Miles long of cars parked to go see this guy.
Send him your money, by all means.
Send him your money. And vote for him.
Put him in again. He did such a great job.
Never in my life did I ever think that I would see the American people put up with or an American president get away with locking the country down.
First one to do it. And anybody that had a problem with it, oh, well, you know, he's Playing 4D chess.
They put him there so they can put this stuff through.
And let me tell you, when he gets elected the second time, and he will, this is, it's going to be full speed ahead, folks.
Full speed ahead. Everybody will let their guard down.
The Democrats will be yelling and screaming, you know, hair on fire, panic about the planet, about everything.
And Trump will do whatever they want.
Just like he left Fauci in office all the time.
Never complained about Fauci.
Always deferred to Fauci.
Never took on Fauci. Never criticized Fauci.
No, no, no. You know, Fauci, you say I'm doing the right thing, don't you?
You saw that over and over again.
And so, on Saturday, Trump is telling everybody, it's all fake.
There's never anything...
I never paid anybody.
There's no affair.
Nothing. All this stuff is a lie.
Well, here's what Giuliani and Sean Hannity worked out a few years ago, in case you hadn't seen this or don't remember it.
That's her having something to do with paying some Stormy Daniels woman $130,000?
I mean, which is going to turn out to be perfectly legal.
Yeah. And it's fine, because Trump did it.
Sorry, I'm giving you a fact now that you don't know.
It's not campaign money.
No campaign finance violation.
So they funneled it through the law firm?
Funnel through the law firm and the president repaid it.
Oh, I didn't know.
He did. Yeah. There's no campaign finance law?
Zero. So the president...
Just like every... Sean?
So this decision was made by...
Everybody was nervous about this from the very beginning.
I wasn't. I knew how much money Donald Trump put into that campaign.
I said $130,000.
He's going to do a couple of checks for $130,000.
When he was doing no work for the president, I said that's how he's repaying it.
With a little profit and a little margin for paying taxes for Michael.
Do you know the president didn't know about this?
I believe that's what Michael said.
He didn't know about the specifics of it, as far as I know.
But he did know about the general arrangement that Michael would take care of things like this, like I take care of things like this for my clients.
Yeah. You need a criminal lawyer.
No, no, I mean a criminal lawyer.
These guys, I mean, why is anybody invested in this political nonsense on either party?
We need to be looking at ways to cut off the presidency.
We need to be looking at ways to cut off the Congress, to cut off the Supreme Court, to cut off the federal government, to cut them out of our lives.
They want to cut out our gas stoves.
They want to cut out our air conditioning.
They want to cut out our cars.
They want to cut out our money. They want to cut out our homes.
We need to cut them out.
This is a war against us, and Trump is with them.
He's the fifth column.
Just amazing to me to see this.
So, Nick Murray at Real Clear Wire says, This was moving the Overton window.
This was adding additional presumed usurped authority to do whatever they wish.
They've got that there. It's still there.
The Trump executive order is now 1,110 days old.
They don't need to talk about it for right now.
It's going to sit there. And the cement's going to harden around your feet.
And at some point in the future, they're going to push you off the dock.
Widespread business closures crippled entire industries, forced people into unemployment, massively disrupted supply chains.
And I guess we've forgotten, because nobody's demanding that this presumed authority be removed, right?
We know that happened, but maybe I need to remind you again.
Of course, the listeners to this program, I think, know.
There's no school closures going on across the country.
You do have to still get a vaccine in order to get into many of the best colleges.
You want to go to a college that's going to require you to take a vaccine?
You think that's a good college?
Anyway, these actions were taken by a chief executive under states of emergency declared for the COVID-19 pandemic.
For most Americans, it was their first exposure to the expansive nature of emergency power laws.
Yeah, we were told for years, and rightfully so.
All this stuff is going to be coming at us with a...
FEMA, it'll be an emergency.
It'll be a declaration of emergency.
And then when it happens, the guy who made a career out of that, Alex Jones, says it's 40 chess.
Trust Trump. Trust Trump.
You don't have to worry about it. I told you for decades it's going to be coming at you with a FEMA declaration, but now it's okay because it's Trump.
He's on our side. It's really a sting.
They're really running a sting.
He's just letting these people show who they are so he can go round them up and arrest them.
Much to the scren of those who clamor to the widespread closures and disruptions of everyday life, there is no nationwide standard for how states must respond to events like a pandemic.
Each state has its own laws that confer emergency authority to the governor in these situations.
Where did those laws come from? It doesn't mention the fact that this is all part, the second shoot or drop of 9-11.
And the, you know, simulation done two months before 9-11, the false flag anthrax attack a week after, and then the Model State Health Emergency Powers Act that was pushed out as model legislation to all the states two months after that false flag anthrax attack.
All of it together. We have been, yeah, 9-11 kicked off the 21st century.
And it's been one lie and roll out of this plan that they've been putting together for decades.
Ever since. One aspect after the other.
Well, again, when we look at where these people are headed, let's take a look at what is going on with money, because that is the emergency that is right before us at this point, and that is the dollar.
What is our store of value?
What is going to happen to that?
Is it going to disappear? Is it going to be eaten away with inflation, hyperinflation?
Is it going to be banned and replaced with some digital alternative?
Inquiring minds want to know.
I got this letter from a listener who's written me many times.
Lives in Southeast Asia.
He's now gone to Australia.
And I thought it was funny.
That was a fan of your show in the Australian bush.
He said, I met a fan of yours way out in the Australian bush in the most unlikely of places, an hour drive west of Sydney.
I don't know if that's Harps.
Now maybe two or three people in Australia that listen to me.
I don't know. But anyway, what he was writing about, besides that, was he was talking about a historian that he wanted me to see some of his stuff on YouTube.
His name is T.I.K. He says, confirmed what I've long suspected, but haven't been knowledgeable enough to prove.
Conservatives, at least in Britain, where I did most of my growing up in the 60s and 70s, have always been statists.
And not at all laissez-faire.
Like all political parties, in fact.
Well, that's absolutely true.
As a matter of fact, I can't remember who did the essay.
I don't think it was Chesterton, but it was somebody.
There was a contemporary of his who said that conservatives there to lock in the gains that the socialists, the progressives have put in.
And that's basically what's happened.
And now we are at the position where during this lockdown, the aftermath of this, you saw the so-called conservatives like Boris Johnson actually take the lead on new stuff.
Conservatives like Trump actually taking the lead on moving the, you know, doing radical new policies.
It's kind of reversed in a sense.
I mean, you've got Trump who put all this stuff in.
The precedent for gun control by executive order and We're good to go.
It's this professional wrestling tag team match.
And, you know, one of them does it and the next one locks down those things, builds upon it, adds some new precedents themselves.
And so I had other listeners who contacted me and said, I'm seeing information that 23 countries have abandoned the dollar and the SWIFT system and are working with the digital Chinese yuan.
Well, I could only find one site that was doing that, saying that.
They had no reference to it.
But I think it's in general they were talking about what is happening.
Certainly, we have pushed people out of the SWIFT system.
The clearance system is a messaging system that they use to clear financial transactions.
We have rapidly pushed countries out of that.
Well, China and even Russia have been working to set up another system to bring people in.
The BRICS, Brazil, Russia, India, China, South Africa.
That's what they have been working on for quite some time to get out of that.
And when we look at what is going on with Switzerland, China signed a currency swap.
Well, the 150 billion yuan with Switzerland, that's $24 billion.
And to put that in perspective, the bailout that they just had was $228 billion.
So we're looking at about, you know, 10% of what the bailout of the Swiss bank was.
They're putting that in Chinese currency.
Interesting that they're not putting that amount of money in U.S. currency.
And their exposure to the U.S. dollar...
As a matter of fact, I've got a chart that we'll get to here in a minute that's kind of interesting to see which countries are holding a lot of U.S. debt.
I would have thought there would have been more of Saudi Arabia and China, but no longer.
They have moved away from their exposure to the U.S. dollar.
And so we'll talk about who is exposed to it in a moment.
But I don't see any evidence.
This article had mentioned 23 countries, including Germany, France, and the UK, moving out of the dollar out of SWIFT. Now, they may be trying to move out of the dollar out.
UK is still very, very heavily involved in US dollars and treasury debt, but they're definitely not moving out of SWIFT. So that is coming.
It's something that is in process, and it's actually coming at us in a very different way.
It's kind of interesting how China is subverting the petrodollar, in my opinion.
Because once we had violated the trust that was put in the U.S. government to back our currency with gold, that was with Bretton Woods right after World War II. And Russia was the country that opposed it.
But it gave us a great deal of power.
Let us run these big deficits.
And Russia and then later China.
Anybody who is not happy with the megalomaniacs in Washington who see themselves as the rightful owners of the planet.
Anybody who's not happy with that has been looking at a way to get out.
And of course Biden has not only provided a way out, he opened the door and kicked him out.
And so that is moving.
But what China is doing is very clever.
After Bretton Woods 2, where they created the petrodollar with Saudi Arabia, it was about making the U.S. dollar the currency that energy was traded in.
Because energy is the foundation of any economy.
And you can't produce anything if you don't have energy.
And that's why when you look at total consumption of energy and the prohibition of Western nations of using energy, but then allowing India and China to use it unregulated, you can have as many and as dirty of power plants as you want, no problem, according to the Paris Climate Accord.
And environmentalists who are true believers in this false religion, this climate MacGuffin, the people who really believe that stuff were outraged about that.
And they said, well, this is nothing but a transfer of wealth and power from the West to China.
Bingo! They got that right.
Why can't they see the problems with the climate, MacGuffin?
They nailed it. They said it more succinctly than any of the Republicans have ever said it.
And that's exactly what is going on.
They're transferring power by transferring energy to China and India, energy use.
And so now you have China...
Making moves. They are brokering peace between Saudi Arabia and Iran and Syria and other Middle Eastern oil companies.
Yeah, that's certainly what they are.
But basically what they're doing is they're uniting all these Middle Eastern countries that have been fighting amongst each other for the purpose of countering and breaking The U.S. petrodollar.
And of course, in January, you had the Saudi finance minister at Davos say, we're going to be using the Chinese currency, going to be accepting payments in Chinese currency for oil.
Yes, we will still do it for the U.S. dollar, just be one of many currencies that we'll use.
But yeah, he announced the end of the petrodollar right there.
And it is being engineered by these geopolitical alliances at the same time that Biden is doing his best As a gremlin administration to rip the wings off of the plane.
Everything that he can do.
By the way, when you look at the size of this Credit Suisse failure, pretty amazing.
It amounts to $13,500 per Swiss citizen to bail out the number two bank in Switzerland.
It amounts to 25% of GDP of Switzerland.
And it amounts to more than the EU spent combined.
All the European Union spent on defense combined.
This bank bailout of this Swiss bank is more than all of that combined.
And so I had a lot of people sending me this.
I guess I would call this clip, the Bank of International Settlement Stooges.
How about the 20 bucks you owe me?
Oh, yeah.
Well, I only got 10, so here's 10 and I owe you 10.
Thanks.
Hey, Moe, you owe me 20.
Well, here's 10 and I'll owe you 10.
Uh-uh.
You owe me 20.
Here's 10 and I owe you 10.
Here's the 10 I owe you.
Good.
Now we're all even.
How about the 20?
That's the Bank of International Settlement, the central bank of central banks.
That's it in a nutshell. Who knew that the three stooges were economists?
But I've always said that economists are the court jesters of the modern state.
Going back to John Maynard Keynes, okay, give us some kind of a joke we can play on the public side.
To continue to do whatever we want to do.
I got it. Fiat currencies and deficit spending and macroeconomics.
How about that? Yeah, the three stooges right there.
A digital currency should be adopted as world's leading reserve currency.
This is Davos, the World Economic Forfeiture and Foreclosure Group.
And this is an article going back five years.
Five years. And they spell it out.
And the interesting thing about it, Is that at the time, you know, they state some of the obvious things that we all know about how it gives the reserve currency status, it gives special privileges to the U.S. government.
And then they say this, Trump's threats, remember Trump was present in 2018, Trump's threats of trade and currency wars are fueling fears that the U.S. dollar could become a weapon in geopolitical disputes.
Now again, did they say that about Biden after he made the U.S. dollar a weapon last year?
No, no. No criticism.
You know, Trump could make this weapon.
Biden makes it a weapon. They don't say anything about it.
And so this is the reason why you have this political polarization.
Oh, well, you know, Davos says things publicly to criticize Trump.
So Trump must be good because Davos is bad.
Well, what they say publicly...
What they say privately, and then what Trump does.
Those are all very different things.
You need to keep watching what he actually does, and you'll find that it's aligned with their agenda.
Such a step, they said, would trigger immense volatility throughout the international monetary system.
You know, using the dollar as a weapon, as Biden has been doing for the last little over a year.
It would throw many economies, especially those who link their currencies in the U.S. dollar.
It would throw them into crisis.
We see Biden did that.
He weaponized the reserve status and then he also put sanctions on energy for our allies.
U.S. policy has been far more damaging to our allies than it has been to our enemies.
And it's been far more damaging to the people of Europe and the U.S. than it has been to the people of other countries that it's supposedly targeting.
Yes, it has caused issues for them, but not for the leadership.
And not for the nations that we're attacking.
All that is needed is a major reserve currency, says Davos in 2018, that is not issued by a national authority.
This is the holy grail of the globalists.
We need to have a global currency that is not under national authority.
So under whose authority is it?
They said gold was once supposed to fill this role.
But it couldn't meet demand for global liquidity.
Oh, really? Well, you know, it's kind of interesting.
Did we have a liquidity problem when the US had lots of gold?
I don't think so. There's an interesting video that was put up by a company that sells gold.
I like these. There was one that I showed once before which showed energy use.
Going back to the early 1800s and time-lapsed, and so it was like a bar chart, you know?
And you see the different countries going out horizontally as to who's using the most energy.
And the early 1800s is by far and away Britain.
And they were, you know, Industrial Revolution, the biggest manufacturers in the world.
And then you start to see them falter a little bit, and the U.S. comes up then.
Over a very short period of time, the U.S. spurts past them and they drop back down.
And that's the way it happens.
Gradually, then suddenly.
And the U.S. stays in that position until just a few years ago.
And then the same thing happened again with China.
China sneaks up, starts building, building, building, and then goes way past the U.S. And the U.S. falls back.
That is what's happening now.
The energy usage.
But it's also money.
And since gold is real money, what these guys did was they went back and they looked at U.S. gold holdings.
And it begins in 1950.
Look at this. Global international reserves and percentages.
Gold. The dollar surges past gold and now gold shrinks down.
And so the people were looking at this and said, well, and now you've got even the euro.
Gold has gone down to third place.
They said, well, as people start to come to their senses, the central banks are now stocking up significantly on gold.
And we'll just have to see what happens with that.
Again, if you, what are these things we can't do anything about?
You know, we can't, if Biden wants to start World War III, we really can't stop him.
We can only prepare for it.
We can't stop it if they want to subvert the world's economies, but we can prepare for it on an individual basis.
If you want to prepare for it with real money, davidknight.gold is what Tony Arterman set up.
That'll take you to Wise Wolf Gold.
If you want to try to prepare and make sure that you've got some real money there that is going to...
I think, go up significantly in relative amounts compared to the dollar, especially if we get into hyperinflation.
That's what everybody's been looking at.
Are we going to go into hyperinflation?
Are they going to protect their fiat currency by going the other direction?
Of course, we may wind up getting both of them.
That's what Slenty has been saying for the longest time.
Forget about stagflation.
It's going to be dragflation. It's not going to just stagnate.
It's going to go down significantly. And so at the time, five years ago, you had Davos lecturing people, a better option than gold, a better option than a fiat currency like the dollar, they said, is the IMF's special drawing rights, SDRs. They said, yet the SDR is not widely used widely enough to serve as a major international reserve currency.
Yet. They said they're calling for the IMF to work with the private sector to explore ways in which the SDR could be more widely used in private transactions.
They said an ESDR, a digital SDR, would in a sense be the quintessential reserve asset because it would be fully backed by reserve currencies.
Wait a minute, didn't they just say that they didn't want to have national reserve currencies?
This is the kind of double talk that you get from them.
Now, what they're doing is they're just trying to push for a global digital currency, and that's where it's all going to end up.
We're just going through these iterative steps here after they've begun the chaos.
A politically neutral body owned by a private sector or central banks should be established to issue the asset.
Participating central banks and asset managers will then have to swap The reserve currency holdings for ESDRs, digital SDRs.
Once the private sector comes to view, the ESDR as less volatile.
See, this is why we're having the chaos right now.
This is why we're going to have a lot of banking chaos, a lot of financial market chaos.
That's why the Federal Reserve has essentially placed these time bombs in our economy going back to before 2008.
Remember, it was the consolidation and the removal of any limitations on risk that created this big problem.
And then they continued to have quantitative easing, lowered the interest rates to make the bubble even bigger.
And so this kind of volatility, people are running now to these big banks.
They've sent the message they're going to bail out the big banks, but not the small and medium-sized banks.
So people are pulling their money out of the small, medium-sized banks.
You're going to starve them.
And then, of course, the biggest bank of all is going to be your central banks.
And then the central banks are going to have problems as well.
So we'll have to go to a global central bank.
And we'll all just agree that it is going to be the standard of money.
When you had Powell being questioned in the House...
He didn't even talk about the typical distinction.
The terminology that's been used for quite some time now is cryptocurrency, like Bitcoin, is proof of work.
That's why you have the miners.
And it's what keeps it honest.
So you can't just generate money out of thin air.
People have to do things. They get paid for doing things.
It's called work. The analogy is like mining gold.
And so you had proof of work versus the central bank digital currencies, which are proof of stake.
Ownership. I own you, right?
Well, Powell put it in an interesting way.
He didn't talk about proof of stake.
He talked about proof of authority.
Well, that's kind of an interesting, dangerous thing for him to say, quite frankly.
If I was questioning him, I would ask him, since the Federal Reserve Act is unconstitutional, where's your authority?
Prove your authority. How about that?
Let's let the Federal Reserve prove its authority before they start talking about currencies that are going to be proof of authority.
So the Chinese government could use the Belt and Road Initiative to push ESDRs.
They fall down the same thing that we've seen throughout the pushing of the vaccine.
You know, we'll incentivize it.
We'll offer you special things.
If you take the vaccine, we will offer you, you know, Even a chance to win a lottery.
A lot of people lost that lottery.
But it'll be done.
It'll be incentivized.
It'll run through the welfare programs, as we've seen, the national ID in India, the Aadhaar.
We've seen that run through the welfare programs.
And so it'll begin mostly as a positive incentive for people.
And then gradually there'll be some punishments worked in.
Well, if you don't do that, you know, if you do that, you're going to get this, this, and this.
And if you don't do it, then we're going to make it a lot harder for you.
Because, you know, you're the only person doing this now anymore.
So we've got to go through extra steps.
So we're going to make it really, really difficult for you to deal with the government or to do anything else that you want to do.
And then they'll come to the outright prohibition.
And that's really where Nigeria is right now.
And it's not working too well for them.
Uh, so, uh, when we, um, look at where this is going to, when we come back, I'm going to take a break.
When we come back, we're going to talk about, uh, CBDC, talk about Nigeria, where that is happening.
Of course, we have, um, a lot of news I want to talk about as well.
Uh, what happened over the weekend?
Amazing. The destruction that happened.
And of course, a viral video of the weatherman, uh, in response to it, it really struck a chord with me because I got to say, you know, I just, I look at this stuff.
On a daily basis.
And when I was watching it, everybody passed it out.
They said, look, this guy says a brief prayer.
He's upset with what he sees coming.
He knows how devastating this hurricane or this tornado is going to be.
And the lives that it's going to take.
And he's trying to warn the people.
A lot of them didn't have the TV turned on.
But, you know, it's the type of thing that has bothered me for these last three years.
As I see this coming, and you try to warn people, and you know that a lot of people are not going to take the warning.
We'll be right back. You're
listening to The David Knight Show.
You know, I talk about trying to warn people.
Someone else is trying to warn people.
Gerald Salenti, trying to warn people about war, especially.
And about coming economic issues.
And he's kindly set it up as an incentive for this show, as well as for our viewers.
If you subscribe to Trends Journal, trendsjournal.com, Gerald Salenti's publication, and you use the code NIGHT, you will save 10% off of the subscription price.
And it is a great publication.
Gerald has always been ahead of the curve and right on these issues.
He's paid a big price for it, as he's mentioned.
You know, he used to be on all the big shows talking about economic issues, but when he started talking about war with the Iraq War, that was it.
They cut him off. So he paid the price for telling people the truth.
You always will, by the way.
U.S. tensions with Iran ignite as the dollar's petro-currency status is under threat.
This is what I was talking about earlier.
The fact that you have China making some very shrewd diplomatic moves.
I mean, what the United States is doing is just throwing its weight around at people, making demands.
This entitled position, it's amazing to me to see these people who are saying, well, you know, white privilege and entitlement, we've got to pull the power structure down, all the rest of the stuff, and yet they want to preserve their global hegemony, don't they?
These same people in the Biden administration, the Democrat Party.
And the Republican Party as well.
Want to preserve their hegemony, tell everybody what to do.
It is their birthright as Americans to dictate to the world, right?
As a matter of fact, these megalomaniacs, it's just amazing.
I'll play that clip later.
It truly is amazing.
But let's talk about the petro-currency status.
Only two weeks after Saudi Arabia announced an effort to establish diplomatic ties to Iran and a deal that was mediated by China.
So China wants to be the world leader.
How do you do that? Well, you bring people together instead of acting like a dictator.
They're building consensus. And they're building consensus that's going to empower them while we're burning down our authority.
We're the ugly American administration here.
More news surfaced that Saudi Arabia is also planning to reopen its embassy in Syria for the first time in over a decade.
So, they brokered a deal between Saudi Arabia and Iran.
China did. Now, Saudi Arabia is going to be opening its embassy in Syria.
And all this is happening as...
There was a lot of news that broke on Friday.
Had five soldiers injured and a contractor killed as a base in Syria?
Was it with a missile?
And the question, as we talked about on Friday, was, so, why is the U.S. in Syria?
Did you know that the U.S. is in Syria?
That we have troops on the ground in Syria?
And that we're stealing their oil in Syria?
And so rumors are swirling that Iran, Saudi Arabia, and Syria are on the verge of geopolitical and economic agreements that sidestep the U.S. End of petrodollar, engineered by China and facilitated by Biden's thuggish approach to all this stuff.
Biden addressed the issue in a short statement asserting that his administration is, quote, not seeking conflict with Iran in particular.
I mean, we don't dislike Iran any more than we like any other country in the world.
Because we bossed them all around.
I'll play this clip. Here's Kirby.
U.S. leadership around the world.
U.S. leadership around the world.
America's increasing leadership around the world.
U.S. leadership around the world.
American leadership. The power of American convening leadership.
American leadership around the world.
Yeah, and that's just one press conference.
I forget the count.
Caitlin Johnstone had the count something like seven or eight times that he mentioned.
Yeah, American leadership around the world.
Now, that's not leadership.
That's a dictatorship. It's a difference.
A big difference.
As a matter of fact, it's all the difference in the world, isn't it?
So, in response to the drone strike in Syria, you know, it's like, well, we're not necessarily against Iran, but we'll go to war with them, just like we go to war with everybody else, along with sanctions and other things.
In January this year, at Davos, again, as I mentioned, the Saudis, Announced that they were going to be trading oil for Chinese currency instead of only in the U.S. dollar.
And that's something that is breaking a 50-year tradition.
That's what created the petrodollar, was trading energy in U.S. dollars.
So China has been aggressively pursuing stronger economic ties to oil, producing nations, and the CCP announced its intention to turn the yuan into a global petro-currency.
In December of 2022.
How do you do that? Well, you get all the oil producers who are fighting amongst themselves.
You broker an agreement between them.
You're the person in the center.
And that's what's happening right now as the U.S. is attacking everybody and trying to shut down oil at the same time.
Another important factor is Russia's alliance with the Syrian government.
Why is the U.S. military still in Syria?
Well, it's hard to say, says Zero Hedge.
No president since Obama has offered a rational explanation.
Well, I just played you that explanation from the Biden administration.
American leadership around the world.
American leadership around the world. That's why we're still there, right?
Syria continues to act as a remnant of establishment war hawk policies from the Bush era, with Obama, Biden, Hillary Clinton using the conflicts in Iraq and Afghanistan as a jumping point for their Arab Spring operations.
What's missing in this?
Even Zero Hedge is afraid to throw Trump in there.
We're there, and all of this stuff was happening.
It began with Obama, right?
And the elephant in the room is Trump.
The Republican in the room is Trump.
Trump didn't do anything to get us out of Syria or any of this other stuff.
As a matter of fact, came dangerously close to escalating it.
Listening to Ivanka, listening to Nikki Haley and Theresa May.
Oh yeah, they gassed everybody right as they were about to take over the city.
They decided that they would do the one thing that would pull in American support directly.
Boots on the ground. Drop in nerve gas or something.
Oh, and then he poisoned this, they poisoned this spy, right?
Oh, no. None of that.
That was all manufactured by the U.S. government.
Yeah, it's kind of interesting.
You see people say, well, no democracy has ever gone to war with another democracy.
Is that true? We may not like Leftist or other regimes like that, people who are validly Marxists, you know, like we just had an election in, or they had an election in Brazil.
We have a Marxist come in and replace a conservative, Bolsonaro.
And typically when things like that would happen in the past, these Marxists, the election of a Marxist would result in a CIA coup.
Now, that's not a democracy attacking another democracy, is it?
No, no, that's American leadership.
American leadership.
If we don't like who you elect, we will overthrow your democracy.
Yeah, democracy is not the end goal of a government.
It's one of the things that gets us to, you know, could be helpful, could be helpful, but many times if you've just got a direct democracy or you don't have a democracy that is tempered by a overruling set of principles like the Constitution, the Bill of Rights, if you've just got a pure democracy, that's nothing to get excited about.
That is not a goal. Liberty is a goal.
Liberty to preserve.
You got it right in the Declaration of Independence.
The goal of government is to preserve and protect our God-given liberties.
And if they don't do that, you get rid of that government and put in another one that will.
It's just that simple.
Democracy is just this thing on the side.
Not very important at all.
As a matter of fact, democracy can become an enemy of liberty, an enemy of our God-given rights, as we now see it is in most countries, including our own.
In theory, Syria stands as a possible powder keg for wider regional wars that certainly serve the interests of establishment globalists if their goal is geopolitical chaos.
And it is their goal to do that.
Zero Hedge says, did Iran-backed militants really attack the U.S. forces in Syria?
Or is the flare-up in tensions with Iran merely designed to throw a monkey wrench into diplomatic negotiations between Saudi Arabia, Iran, Syria, and China?
Or is Biden leading America toward an economic conflict that will eventually destroy the dollar?
I think it's perhaps all of them.
If it's the third scenario...
Then who ultimately benefits?
Yes, exactly.
Who does? Cui bono.
Well, we know what the government is doing.
We know that the government is working rapidly to destroy our banking system.
And it's working out pretty well for them.
European stocks got really shaky on Friday.
I don't know how they're doing this morning.
I haven't looked at it. But Deutsche Bank lost a lot because they are now the sick man that everybody is looking at.
The giant German bank.
A steep sell-off in banking stocks at Europe on Friday.
Deutsche Bank tumbled 8.5% after a sharp jump in the cost of insuring against the risk of default.
Deutsche Bank has taken the place of Credit Suisse really as being the next sort of weakest link in the chain.
Possibly unjustly, said one analyst.
And yet, you know, Deutsche Bank has been having problems long before this.
As a matter of fact, all these things, they didn't just come on us overnight.
The foundations of this have been preparing this for a couple of decades now.
I thought this was an interesting characterization of what we're seeing here.
Welcome to the superprime banking crisis.
Remember we had the subprime banking crisis?
What was that about? Well, that was them making loans to people who couldn't pay it back.
You know, they didn't have...
They weren't credit worthy.
They said, we don't care.
You know, we're going to put these loans out there for houses and cars and all the rest of the stuff.
The subprime loans.
These are people who do not qualify...
Under objective status.
Well, now we've kind of got the same thing, except these people are overqualified.
They're cronies. They're wealthy corporations.
Big business. Too big to fail.
Too big to turn down.
And, of course, they align with the environmental and society goals of government.
So we've got to give them the money.
It doesn't matter. We don't have to look to see if these projects are going to work or if they're going to make money.
We don't really care about that under ESG anymore.
And so, you know, it is kind of an interesting flip with this.
The fact that now they repeat this on the other side.
First, they blew up things in a small way by making loans to the little guys who couldn't pay them back.
Now they're going to blow up things in a really, really big way by loaning money to the big guys who can't pay them back.
History always repeats itself, but it rhymes.
It doesn't literally repeat itself, but it is very similar each time we go through it.
And so, as you had Powell before the House Committee, they have hearings.
They don't pass laws anymore.
The rules are written by the bureaucracy, and make sure that you don't have any due process protection against excessive fines or punishments, and you don't have any presumption of innocence.
So it's really convenient for them And the Congress to get elected and then give all of their duties to the bureaucracy so they don't have to do anything except hold these show hearings.
And that's what we see over and over again.
Whether it's the Democrats or Republicans in power doesn't change.
They do nothing.
They do nothing except get on TV. And so they brought Powell in.
Did they do anything? Did they tell him, you better not do FedNow or FedCoin.
You better not do crypto. As a matter of fact, we'd like to audit you.
No, none of that stuff.
None of that stuff. Instead, he got a tongue-lashing from a Republican, Warren Davidson.
That tongue-lashing is better than silence, I guess.
He said, I've spoken with multiple bankers who said they've never seen a higher degree of regulatory burden, steering guidance, shaping activities in the marketplace from regulators.
And so, think about this.
This is a Republican congressman who's been elected, complaining to an unelected, unconstitutional chairman of the unconstitutional Federal Reserve.
He's complaining to him about regulations coming from the Federal Reserve and from other regulatory agencies.
And you've got to ask yourself, why isn't Warren Davidson writing the laws that he's supposed to write?
Why isn't he writing some laws to control these regulators, to control the Federal Reserve?
He passively sits there and pretends that he's advocating for these banks, these small, medium-sized banks.
He's not advocating for them.
He's not doing a thing about this.
He's saying, well, you know, you're going to put these people out of business.
You don't want to do that, do you?
Well, it's not a nice thing to do.
He won't do a thing.
He'll get his show hearing, and he'll say, see, I spoke up to him about that.
I told him. Really don't want you to do that, but he won't exercise the authority that he has as a congressman elected to do anything.
He attributed the heightened scrutiny to Operation Choke Point 2.0.
He said some people in the crypto industry claim that Operation Choke Point 2.0 is now being carried out by the Biden administration, primarily focused on deterring banks from doing business with cryptocurrency firms.
Yeah, it is an attack on both the banks and on crypto.
Because both the banks, the small banks, you know, all of them except a handful of collaborators, call them Nazi collaborators, collaborating with the Nazi Federal Reserve.
All of them except for a handful of Nazi collaborators have to go.
And crypto's got to go.
Got to clear the decks.
So everybody deals with the Federal Reserve and they are the ones who have the only cryptocurrency out there.
That's what Choke Point is about.
Simultaneously killing crypto in the small and medium-sized banks.
When people really feel like some third party is going to steer or shape their money, they don't trust it, he said.
See how much this is like the vaccine thing?
Rand Paul saying to Fauci, You know, what you're doing here with this shot, can't call it the Trump shot, Can't call it the genetic code injection.
You know, what you're doing here with this shot, because you're rushing this out to people.
And mandating that people are losing confidence in other vaccines.
And so, and the financial thing, same thing.
Because you're trying to kill small and medium-sized banks and cryptocurrency and create financial chaos so that you can rule everybody.
People are starting to lose confidence in your system.
I wish more people would lose confidence in the big pharmaceutical companies and the Federal Reserve, but unfortunately not, as much as we warned them.
So again, he wants to talk about proof of authority.
Show us your authority for your whole institution there.
Fundamentally, a lack of trust, he said.
That is the real issue. And so this article from Health Impact News, looking at what's going on in Nigeria, Brian Shalhavi's got some comments about it as well, but it's basically an article coming out of Nigeria.
The Nigerian Labor Congress has called for a nationwide strike and picketing of the Central Bank of Nigeria's branches.
You see, they have moved.
It's a large country, very large country.
Biggest country that they have tried to impose CBDC on people yet.
Combined with trying to confiscate paper cash, reissue a new form of paper cash, that's always a means of confiscating cash.
That's what Ron Paul was warning people about for many years.
He would see these redesigns.
They were coming along of the $100 bill, the $20 bill, you know, where they put the real big picture and they off-centered it, and then they start embedding all kinds of things in the currency and everything as counterfeiting operation.
The biggest counterfeiter, of course, is the Federal Reserve, but we don't want them counterfeiting our counterfeit.
So, Ron Paul would look at this and rightfully say, hey, they're doing a major redesign of the dollar.
They may be going to, you know, announce banking holiday, confiscate all the other dollars and say they're no good anymore, and we're going to reissue this and reset the currency.
He was saying that many years, talking about that.
It didn't happen there, but that's exactly the plan that happened in Nigeria.
It should be rightfully suspect any time they start redesigning the currency very rapidly like that.
Nigeria has been used by some of us as an example of what's going to be coming in the U.S. in terms of rolling out a CBDC. First major country to do this in a mass rollout to replace cash.
But one year later, nobody wants the thing.
The Supreme Court, by the way, has ruled CBDC unconstitutional as well.
So the people have rejected it.
You've only got a small number of people that have downloaded their app to use it.
They've only got a small number of people between 20 and 40% of the population even has a smartphone in Nigeria.
So they just push the rest of the people out of the banking system completely if you've got to have it digital.
But they don't really care about that.
And then the Supreme, so, you know, people have rejected it.
They started, the people who do have smartphones, started using Bitcoin far more than they use the Nigerian digital dollar, or digital whatever it is, Nairobi or whatever they call the thing.
Not Nairobi, but I forget, the E&I, whatever they call their cryptocurrency, their CBDC. People abandoned that to go to Bitcoin.
So they said, you know, we got a lot of people using Bitcoin.
Maybe we can get them to use a central bank digital currency.
And they said, no, we don't want that. If I'm going to use crypto, I'm going to go with Bitcoin.
That's what they saw. But people have been ignoring it, resisting it.
They challenged it. The Supreme Court said it's unconstitutional.
And so the outgoing president is not even saying anything about it.
He's just continuing with business as usual.
And so you have the Nigerian Bar Association that's criticizing the president.
You've got to respond.
When the Supreme Court says you can't do this and it's unconstitutional, you can't keep doing that.
But that's the way that works, isn't it?
Uh, so they didn't play along, but he's just ignoring them.
And so you have the Nigerian labor Congress is calling for the public sector workers to start a nationwide strike next week and to protest the central bank branches, which could cripple the entire country.
And so, um, it is the E Naira.
That's why I couldn't remember what it was.
The E Naira. I don't know where that comes from.
Not Nigerian.
Um, but, um, Nakedcapitalism.com is the article that Health Impact News quotes.
Three months after the central bank launched demonetization, economic conditions in Nigeria continue to deteriorate.
Now one of the country's leading media organizations is calling for the arrest and prosecution of the central bank of Nigeria's governor.
This would be like the New York Times calling for the arrest and prosecution of Jerome Powell.
We could always dream, can't we?
I had a dream like that the other night.
Nigeria is the world's first largest economy to launch a nationwide central bank digital currency.
In one year, only one half of 1% of Nigerians had downloaded the eNaira app.
Only 8% were actually using it of that.
So we're starting to get down to, like, the case fatality rate of COVID. It's.005% of the people actually using this thing.
So the government and the central bank doubled down on their strategy.
In October, they unveiled plans to replace all high-denomination cash bills in the economy, as well as restricting cash withdrawals.
This, too, has been an unmitigated disaster.
And again, the president is just ignoring the Supreme Court, which has called this whole thing unconstitutional.
And the Nigerian Bar Association said this is the greatest test or challenge to our constitutional democracy.
And the executive cannot afford to disregard the orders of the Supreme Court made for the benefit of the people that elected it.
Well, you know, we have...
And this is an ongoing thing.
Whether you look... At Biden or Trudeau or Macron or this, you know, stooge in Nigeria?
How did all these presidents come to think that they can act like dictators?
You know, the law is in their mouth.
All they have to do is speak it.
And that's what it is. You know, you want to change anything about society?
You want to change the pension? Well, you just say it.
I'm going to change the pension age.
Right there. Where'd they get that idea?
Well, they got that idea from the pandemic, didn't they?
And they've all become dictators.
We have dictators in every single country.
Openly contemptuous.
Don't talk to me about democracy anymore.
We've had regulatory agencies that have been ruling us.
We've had taxation without representation.
We've had regulation without representation.
We've had years of dictatorship.
Under medical martial law, don't talk to me about democracy.
Don't talk to me about elections.
Don't talk to me about, it matters who's the president.
Don't talk to me about any of that stuff.
What matters is what you do for your life at your local community level.
That's what matters. So, the central bank's governor, which now the major papers are calling for his arrest.
So the destination, as far as I'm concerned, is to achieve 100% cashless economy in Nigeria.
It may be a bridge too far for some of these places.
It may be that for some of these dictators, this is too far.
And we saw this in France, right?
Nobody cared when they were being locked down under the medical dictatorship, medical martial law.
They were scared to death with the propaganda and the lies coming out of the mainstream press.
They were scared to death, so they went along with it.
And now these people, puffed up with their new powers, are going around dictating this and dictating that, and they're bringing their dictates into the financial side of things, which people understand that immediately affects them.
You get everybody's attention when you start taking their money, don't you?
When you start making their money worthless, or when you start just outright confiscating it, saying you're not going to have that anymore.
Oh, that gets their attention.
Wakes them up real big, right?
And so they may be overplaying their hand in this.
Let's hope so. Most Nigerians can't even use a CBDC since they don't have a smartphone, like I said, out of a population of 220 million people.
Almost two-thirds of the size of the United States.
Between 25 and 40 million people only have a smartphone.
More than half the population doesn't even have a bank.
And so in that kind of a situation, they decided the thing to do would be take away everybody's cash.
Force them into a bank.
Because, you know, look at that. All these people who are operating the cash society, we can force them into the banking situation.
We can monitor and control everything they do.
We can tax everything that they do very easily.
People don't want it. For the past 30 days or so, US politicians have come out publicly Against the central bank digital currencies.
This is what I said earlier.
Brian Shalhavi says, look, you got Tom Emmer and Ted Cruz, Emmer in the House, Cruz in the Senate.
And it's good because now Emmer is the House majority whip.
That's the guy that gets everybody together on an agenda.
And he did get a lot of co-sponsors on this.
I said, I think it's a good thing that they're getting people aware of this.
But of course, the problem is, as he points out, Cruz has a mirror image bill that he put in the Senate.
They're not going to pass.
It may pass in the House, but it's probably not going to pass in the Senate, and it won't be able to override Biden's veto.
It is good that people understand what this is about.
And you had Kristi Noem and DeSantis talking about that.
However, as he points out, we've kind of seen this play before as well, where after the Republicans decided that it was safe to push back against the Trump shot.
You know, Trump had been out for over a year before the Republicans started pushing back against the vaccine.
And now you've got all these conservative media people Who are telling you the truth about the vaccine, how horrible it is, and yet they're still lying to you about Trump.
And they completely divorced Trump from this.
And you notice that that has picked up and become a legitimate thing.
You know, people like Ben Shapiro, who was always telling you, you've got to get it.
My wife's a doctor.
I know. You need to get that vaccine.
Well, as soon as Trump shut his trap about, you know, bragging about what he had done with his vaccine, as soon as he stopped that, they waited a few weeks.
And then it was okay to criticize the vaccine because Trump is not claiming ownership of the vaccine anymore.
After, you know, just a few months ago, as he kicked off his campaign, even before that, you had these same people who were telling you how bad the vaccine was and said, I wish Trump would shut up.
You know, stop telling everybody that you created this thing that's so bad.
Well, now he has, and so now they can come out full-throated against that and still love Trump.
And people don't get it.
So, again, the concern is, as Brian said, you've got people who are...
If we're going to politicize this, we've already seen this happen before.
We've seen this movie before.
What happened when it was only Republicans who finally came out against the vaccine?
Well, then it was Democrats who said, oh, Republicans don't like it?
Well, then I love it. Right?
You saw Fauci when he was walking door to door with NPR a few months ago, and the clip just came out where he got hammered by these people in Washington, D.C. A poor black neighborhood, and everybody was saying, no, I don't want that.
No, it hasn't been tested. You're running a campaign of fear.
That guy really nailed him.
Fauci's response was, oh, they're all Republicans.
No, they're not. I doubt there was any Republicans there.
But, you know, he was the one who was making this a political thing.
Well, you know, those are the Republicans that are doing it.
And so Brian Shalhavi at Health Impact News is right.
This could backfire on us.
If we can't get any Democrats, we probably can't.
Because they don't support freedom in any way, shape, or form.
And this is one of the most dictatorial things out there.
They're all going to say, oh, we've got to have it.
Because that's going to allow us to do all the things that we've got to do for climate.
If it's going to be a Republican versus Democrat thing, you've already got half the people who are going to sign up for CBDC. And that's the thing that is really concerning about it.
You get one party, as he says, to take a position on the issue, so the other half of the country who opposes the party automatically takes the opposing position.
And as long as you keep the public divided in a two-party system, or not even a two-party system, you have Trump versus the world.
That's the way they presented this.
And Trump is not against the globalists.
He's just against anybody that criticizes him.
Or anything that's not in his perceived self-interest.
And so he says, so in 2022, as public opinion and demand for the shots began to decrease, they simply made it a political issue.
Almost assuring that about half the country would then continue to support it.
Just look at what the late night court jesters say.
I suspect something similar is now happening with CBDC. The cat is out of the bag, so to speak, about it.
And so, and in places like Nigeria, we're seeing disastrous results.
So in my opinion, having prominent members of Congress start opposing this is a surefire way to get support with the Democrats.
And get at least 40-50% of the country to support it.
And again, it will roll out...
As incentives. Well, we'll give you free services and free cash and all the rest of this stuff.
They'll probably do like they did with a stimulus check.
They'll run it through for welfare benefits and for food stamps and things like that.
You have to run it through the central bank digital currency.
But they'll probably offer some free cash out there for you as well.
Here, you know, I'll give everybody, I don't know, let's say $1,000.
That's kind of what they do with stimulus check or something.
$2,000. We'll give you $2,000.
Would you put the app and start to use Central Bank?
I'll give you $2,000. And look, it'll be accepted by all these different stores.
And if the stores will accept it, the stores can make a lot of money because they're going to give $2,000 to 300 million people to spend.
You don't think stores are going to gear up and say, yeah, let me get that.
I want to take CBDC. What do I have to do?
That'll be the way they'll roll it out.
Surgical removal of crypto.
We'll only weaken the U.S. dollar.
And, of course, that is exactly right.
That is Coin Telegraph talking about this and saying, you know, as you make it prohibited here in the United States, I mean, other people are going to pick this up.
Isn't it interesting? I would say that I would characterize the Democrat Party as a party of prohibition and exhibition, right?
You've got the exhibitionist trannies and the, you know, oh, look at this.
We've got all of our, you know, Men with, you know, Marge Simpson hairstyles and all the rest of this stuff, lipstick on pigs.
We're so proud of our Sam Brittons and our Dick Levines.
And yet at the same time, they want to prohibit everything.
Pretty amazing. A March 20th economic report from the White House turned into a scathing review of the merits of crypto assets with a paper spending almost an entire chapter debunking crypto's touted benefits.
As a massive campaign, it's not hard to tell that they absolutely loathe crypto.
Rumored action could be underway as crypto is seen as a threat to the U.S. dollar's dominance in global trade.
However, as more are beginning to use crypto for cross-border remittances globally, a crackdown on crypto in the U.S. could actually have the opposite effect on the dollar.
Oh yeah, we're going to take down Russia by putting sanctions on them.
We're going to take down Iran by putting sanctions on them.
Does that work? Syria, all the rest of them?
No, actually what it's doing is it's destroying the reserve status of the dollar.
It hasn't really hurt those people.
It's hurt us. The surgical removal of cryptocurrencies from the U.S. banking system will only isolate the U.S. further.
And it will weaken the dollar's position as reserve currency.
So, one person, the head of the Australian Crypto Exchange, Independent Reserve, said the White House would be better served To review the practices of the banking industry.
If you want to see something that's irresponsible and dangerous, the banking industry itself and the Federal Reserve itself is far worse than crypto and Bitcoin.
Far worse. I mean, we've got money laundering.
You know, the dollar is used in all these, you know, criminals worldwide.
All the criminals worldwide don't use Bitcoin, but they all use U.S. dollars.
Maybe we should get rid of all those U.S. dollars.
That'll be the next thing they say.
And of course, it is also used by a criminal regime that thinks that it is entitled to run the world.
That's one of the big issues about it.
Speaking about the most recent action against Coinbase, this CEO of Australian crypto exchange, the Independent Reserve, said, the adversarial environment for the crypto industry in the U.S. will push jobs, investment, and future innovation out of the country.
And that's what they've been doing for decades.
Pushing jobs, investment, and innovation into China for slave labor.
And it's what Biden is still doing with his policies of sanction and war and prohibition and all the rest of this stuff.
Everything that he's doing is to push jobs, investment, and future innovation out of the United States, out of Europe as well, to bring us a forced austerity.
We just have too much.
They've got to take it away from Singapore, Hong Kong, potentially Australia, or may prove to be a better home for it, and the countries will reap the economic benefits.
And I just have to say, you know, probably the best thing they could do if they wanted to destroy crypto would be to take down the power grid.
But of course, the problem is going to be that if they take down the power grid, that's going to be a black mark against their idea of a central bank digital currency.
I think they'd be shooting themselves in the foot.
People would not forget the fact you take down the internet everywhere.
Do an internet kill switch or the power grid.
People can't get to their stuff.
That's going to be one of the best arguments against CVDC. So I don't think they're going to pull that.
It may most likely just be a world war, and blame it on that.
But I don't know how, when you've got a world war, the power grid and the internet are going down.
I don't know how you run a central bank digital currency with a world war.
Maybe they just put it all on ice, and then out of the smoking ruins, they impose their system on us.
So they said it's going to drive crypto asset innovation offshore, just like it will for cars, washing machines, air conditioning.
You know, the only difference is that you can get crypto from abroad.
You can't get the cars, the air conditioning, the gas stoves, and all the rest of the stuff from abroad necessarily.
So they said the handwriting is on the wall because when they're asking them, okay, so what is it that you really want from us?
They're not getting any answers, right?
It's just there's no clear guidance.
It's just like what we're seeing with the cars or these other things.
It's like, no, you don't understand yet, I guess, that we're going to put you out of business.
We're going to put the crypto out, the cars out, the gas stoves, the internal combustion engines, on and on and on.
They've got a whole list of things that they're going to get rid of.
And force you to buy their solution provided by their friends.
Solutions that are not solutions, that are not tested, they're not mature technologies, but they're going to ban everything else.
And they don't care. They don't care about what kind of chaos they bring about.
We'll be right back. The Common Man They created common core to dumb down our children.
They created common past to track and control us.
Their commons project to make sure the commoners own nothing.
And the communist future.
They see the common man as simple, unsophisticated, ordinary.
But each of us has worth and dignity created in the image of God.
That is what we have in common.
That is what they want to take away.
Their most powerful weapons are isolation, deception, intimidation.
They desire to know everything about us while they hide everything from us.
It's time to turn that around and expose what they want to hide.
Please share the information and links you'll find at TheDavidKnightShow.com Thank you for listening.
Thank you for sharing.
Thank you.
Before I get into the climate MacGuffin, we've got a couple of comments here on Rockfin that Travis saw.
Stephen Caspar, I just used my David Knight pen to sign my federal Ponzi scheme paperwork, also known as the IRS tax forms.
Handy said, did the paper burst into flames and Harps said...
No, it should only be used for good, not for evil.
So, that's interesting.
We just had somebody, Travis was telling me, we just got a referral from Trends Journal after the last plug.
So, I just remind you, you know, 10% off if you want to subscribe to Gerald Salenti's Trends Journal.
He works very hard to look at the trends that are coming.
And he tells you what they are, regardless of whether people want to hear it or not.
Mainstream media did not want to hear what he has to say about war.
And of course, it also helps to support Occupy Peace.
And that is 10% off with promo code KNIGHT. Yes, that's right.
Thank you for mentioning that.
Let's talk a little bit about who's got U.S. debt.
I thought this was kind of interesting.
The top foreign holders of U.S. debt, and in this graphic that you'll find on Zero Hedge, It's a big circular graphic and they show approximate size of all the different countries that are invested in the U.S. debt.
There you go, pull that in. And you click on that picture and it'll get big and a little bit clearer too.
So Japan is the largest, not China.
China has gotten rid of 30% of its holdings over the last four years of the U.S. dollar.
And so now the biggest holder is not China, but is Japan.
Japan has almost 15% of the U.S. Treasury holdings that are held by other entities outside the United States.
And China has 12%.
So it's about a trillion dollars versus $867 billion, Japan versus China.
Number three is United Kingdom.
This is one of the things, you know, some people are saying, well, everybody's rejecting the American dollar for the Chinese yuan.
That's not happening yet.
The more significant issue is the petrodollar.
Thing that is being the play that is being done by China.
Brokering peace between Saudi Arabia, Iran, Syria, getting Saudi Arabia to say, yeah, we're going to start, you know, we're going to get rid of the idea that we're going to trade exclusively in the U.S. dollar.
Switzerland was down at number seven, $270 billion, which, although that's 3.7% of, you know, U.S., Currency that's held outside the United States.
That $270, remember it was about $225 billion that they lost in that bank closure, Credit Suisse.
And that was about $13,500 per Swiss citizen.
So this is even more. This is not $225, this is $270 billion.
So that's more than $13,500 per Swiss citizen in U.S. dollars.
So they've got a lot of exposure.
Surprisingly, even more so than Switzerland, is the Cayman Islands, because you've got all these people, rich people, if they want to avoid a lawsuit or something like that.
I don't know. They've got a big billion-dollar lawsuit.
They put money in the Cayman Islands.
That's how that works. Saudi Arabia is down at just 1.6%, $120 billion.
They really cut their exposure to the U.S. dollar.
And then below them is Germany, Norway, the Netherlands, Australia, Israel, Bahamas, Thailand, Sweden, Iraq.
These are all quite a bit less than the other ones.
And so I think that is...
It's kind of interesting to see who's holding the dollar, who has exposure to it.
Let's take a look at what is going on with climate.
I'll begin with an article by Gard Goldsmith.
He wrote an excellent article for MRCTV talking about Energy Secretary Granholm.
This is the agency that was created by Richard Nixon.
We had Rick Perry, when he ran for president, said, I'm going to get rid of three agencies.
And he couldn't remember what the third one was.
Well, that was the Department of Energy.
And Trump put him in charge of it, just to remind him of the name, I guess.
And he didn't get rid of it.
He didn't reduce it. They didn't do anything about the Department of Energy.
And so now it's been taken over by Jennifer Granholm.
Headline from Guard is, Fascist Feds.
We'll only ban some people's gas stoves.
I guess, you know, we can be grateful for small things like that, right?
Some of them are still going to be allowed.
He says, A can to how a shark might claim to be smiling as he approaches you, but you know he's baring his teeth in preparation for a bite.
A few government officials epitomize the contrast between rhetoric and reality.
A few of them do. Better than Jennifer Granholm.
Fresh off her propaganda tour at Austin's formerly Cool Music and Film Fest, she said on Thursday she magnanimously paid a visit to the Congressional Budget Hearing.
Another one of these hearings, right?
The people there...
You know, the Republican Congress isn't going to say, you can't ban stoves.
No, they're going to bring her in and say, you want to ban stoves?
No, I don't want to ban stoves. Oh, you're going to ban stoves?
And then, you know, back and forth.
You want to do it? No, I don't want to do it.
Yeah, you're doing it. You're doing it effectively.
Well, okay, that's it. Next up, you know, I'm ready for my close-up.
So she went to clarify the administration's position.
Of course, the only thing she clarifies, says Guard, were the facts that she, like many bureaucrats, politicians, and their media pals, will not stop using soft terms to mask the government aggression.
And so, when they talk about the fact that they are going to ban 96% of residential gas stovetops because they say they're not in compliance with emissions, this is the absurdity of this.
And it'll never end...
Unless we oppose this lie about emissions.
It's never been about emissions.
It's been about omissions.
What do they want to take out of our lives and why?
That's what we need to look at.
This is not about any kind of emission.
It's not about asthma for kids.
It's not about, you know, burning the ozone layer down or filling up greenhouse gases and all the rest of this stuff, which isn't going to have enough.
It's not going to have, even if it were a real proven thing, which it isn't.
It's proven false. They couldn't prove the quantity of this.
Gas stoves in America, they're going to melt the ice caps, right?
No, they're too far away from the ice caps.
She used the opportunity to clarify what she called to be misinformation about their proposal.
This has been mischaracterized.
You just don't understand, and people are willfully telling you lies about the fact that I want to ban all but 4% of the stove.
Well, that is true, but you know, hey, it's fine.
Her department updated their energy efficiency standards for gas and electric stovetops, as well as a wide range of household appliances, And she insisted that the majority of residential stoves won't be affected by the changes.
This is plausible deniability.
I'm just not outright banning them.
I'm changing the emission standards, and if it doesn't meet the emission standards, well, then it can't be sold.
But it's not a ban, you see.
Well, yeah, it is.
The 96% figure refers to tested gas cooking tops.
So the full range of gas stoves absolutely is not affected, she said.
So what do you want?
I mean, you know, 4% of them will qualify.
They happen to be the most expensive ones out there.
But, you know, hey, I'm not banning them.
You can still get 4%.
And they probably won't, just like in Europe.
They're not going to ban expensive, super expensive Porsches and Lamborghinis running on super, super, super expensive e-fuels.
That are made in this bespoke superstitious process where they go down to the tip of South America, set up an island and put up a generator running off of windmills in an area where the wind never stops blowing and then take some captured carbon dioxide and using a lot of energy Turn it into oil,
which could have been done a lot easier with oil refinery, and then sell it back to people at a phenomenal markup.
No, those people will still be allowed.
You know, it might be 0.4% of people who could afford that e-fuel and the expensive $3 million cars to put it into.
But, you know, hey, we're not banning all cars.
We're going to let people still have, our friends will still have internal combustion engines.
Her line of thinking says, Guard could see the feds regulating the kinds of pots and pans we use, or even where we put them on the stove.
Well, sure. Because, you know, we're talking about an emperor who has no clothes.
The emperor in this case is CO2. You're carbon.
Carbon is our emperor. We have to contain that everywhere.
Biden is also cracking down on air conditioners as part of the war on appliances.
We've got to reduce the nation's carbon emissions.
Hey, Biden, tell it to China, not to us.
Why is it he's not concerned about China?
Why is it that he's not trying to, you know, take away all the rest of the stuff?
Of course, they're not going to let him have it.
It's just like when Obama went to Africa a few years ago and said, yeah, air conditioning.
Y'all can't have air conditioning here in Africa.
We'd burn the planet down.
So some people will never get it.
Those of us who have it, they want to remove it because they want us to all be leveled down into a forced austerity and slavery.
Keeping us too busy trying to feed ourselves and stay warm so we can't bother coming after them.
This is an excellent article, though, about the fallacies of wind power.
This is a study, and just basic arithmetic, by the way, How much can each one of these things generate?
Optimal. You know, you've got optimal conditions and you've got one of these windmills that are up there.
How much power can it generate?
And then let's take a look at how much power we're currently using and how many of these things would we have to have and how large of an area of the Earth's surface.
This is just basic arithmetic.
And so this is coming from Oxford University Mathematician and Physicist.
He's also a researcher at CERN, fellow at Kebbell College, emeritus professor.
Wade Allison has done the sums.
And that's the key word right there, emeritus.
He wouldn't be putting this out if he was working at the university.
Because if he was working at the university, that'd be it for him.
Right? He would not...
You know, they might kick him out.
Even if they didn't kick him out, he wouldn't get any more research grants.
And that's where a lot of their money comes from.
He would have been kicked out of any government grants coming along.
Professor Wade Allinson has done the math.
He said, wind power fails on every count.
The government is ignoring overwhelming evidence of the inadequacies of wind power and resorting to bluster.
Yeah, bluster. They're blustering about wind power.
They're filled with hot air politicians.
And we see this over and over again.
You know, when you look at, okay, well, let's replace all of the cars that we currently have with electric cars and put all that on the grid.
Forget about, you know, all electric ranges and space heaters and everything else that they want to put on the grid.
You know, what is the power requirements for that?
Well, it's a lot more than we currently have on the grid, and they're shutting the grid down at the same time because the grid's just not green enough, and so forth and so on.
We see this over and over again. Or you can do the analysis on the materials that they need for the battery-operated cars.
Where are we going to get those materials?
They may find a way to get these materials.
They could possibly find a way to power the grid.
But there's no clear path to that, certainly not in the time frame that they're doing it.
And so this is not, well, let's see what we can do.
We're going to dictate that you're going to shut everything off, and the only thing that's going to be allowed is this other thing over here.
There's absolutely no way that we can replace what is going to be turned off with their new stuff in that time frame.
Professor Allison's dire warnings are contained in a short paper.
Recently published by the Global Warming Policy Foundation, he notes that the energy provided by the sun is extremely weak, which is why it was unable to provide the energy to sustain even a small global population before the Industrial Revolution.
But he says, if you want to build infrastructure around wind and solar, not only will it fail, but it will cost trillions of dollars.
It will trash large portions of the environment entirely unnecessarily.
He says, for example, at wind speeds of 20 miles per hour, the power produced by wind turbine is 600 watts per square meter at full efficiency.
To deliver the same power as the Hinkley Point C nuclear plant, this would be in the UK, I think, Which is 3.2 gigawatts.
Or as they would say on Back to the Future, gigawatts, Marty.
But 3.2 gigawatts.
It would require 5.5 million square meters of turbine-swept area.
So you've got an extra 5.5 million square meters laying around in the UK. Oh, we can put them out in the ocean.
You know, the wind's always blowing out in the ocean.
Well, actually, no. They put a bunch of them off the coast of Northern Ireland.
And they started getting these big peaks and troughs and peaks and troughs.
They couldn't produce steady state.
They said, all right, we'll make the field bigger so we can steady it out.
It didn't. What they wound up was even bigger peaks and troughs.
It didn't cancel it out and level it out.
It's noted this should be quite unacceptable to anybody who cares about birds or the environment.
Meanwhile, off the coast of Massachusetts, work is about to start on a giant wind farm.
Complete with permits to harass and likely injure about a tenth of the population, as well as the rare North Atlantic right whale.
I haven't talked about this, but there's been a lot of reports, people saying, hey, since we've put in these windmills in this area, we've had a tremendous number of beached whales and beached dolphins.
Oh, well, you can't prove it's the wind.
No, you can't. No studies have been done because the government doesn't want to do any studies, but it's the same type of thing we saw with the vaccines.
People dropping dead, well, prove it.
There's no studies about it.
Because you're not interested in doing any studies.
You're not interested in even talking about your own database, the VAERS thing.
So it's just all coincidental that these whales and dolphins are dying from this.
And we have seen its effect on large birds of prey, on bats and others.
We know why, as a matter of fact, for bats, they know the reason for that.
They're breathing very, very rapidly as they go through the blades.
Unlike some of the bigger birds, they can more easily avoid it.
The bats are pretty quick, but what they can't handle is the pressure differential.
They're taking deep breaths as they're flying.
And as they breathe in on one side where the pressure is lower and they go into where the pressure is higher, I should say.
They go into the area where the pressure is lower.
All of a sudden, their lungs blow up and they die very quickly.
It's like a diver who takes a big breath of air, fills up his lungs, and then goes up 20 or 30 feet.
His lungs blow up.
Same thing. For eight days at the end of the month, power generation slumped in the graph that he shows here because the wind speed was cut in half.
That's one thing you can't have on a grid.
When I talk about these other alternative things, when I talk about solar, I talk about wind, look, that might be a good way for you to prepare.
It is a good way for you to prepare when the grid goes down.
You don't need to have steady-state power like the grid does.
These things don't work on the grid.
They're trying to use it for the wrong thing.
And the technology is just not there to store power, to make it the amount of power that you have to have on a grid.
And of course, it's very expensive, as we all know, to try to even store power for individual use.
But if you have a situation where you've got solar power and you've got wind, you could always just...
Use some of these supplies that you need when the sun is shining or the wind is blowing.
You don't necessarily need to store it.
You don't necessarily need to have 24-7.
It's nice to have it, but you don't have to have it.
But you do have to have it for the grid.
And so he summed it up by saying, whichever way you look at it, wind power is inadequate.
It's intermittent. It's unreliable.
It is exposed. It is vulnerable.
It is weak. And it has a short lifespan.
And that's the thing. People think, oh, I get solar and I get wind, it's going to last forever.
Nothing in this life. Lasts forever?
Those things don't either.
And so we've had one person who bought into the dream of electric cars, Rivian, ended his honeymoon with it, he said, as he got stuck in the snow.
He was overjoyed to have his dream electric vehicle after waiting for years, but then after owning the car for just days, it got stuck in the snow, and then a safety feature immobilized it.
Requiring him to pay $2,100 to have it towed to a repair facility.
He said, I was in honeymoon phase.
It's an incredible car.
It handles unlike anything I've ever driven.
However, when it got stuck in two and a half feet of snow, his love affair with the truck promptly ended.
He commented on his expectations.
He said, I had seen all the Rivian marketing campaigns with the cars just eating through the snow.
So it's kind of like, man, this is disappointing.
When it became stuck in the snow, a safety feature immobilized the vehicle.
The vehicle displayed a critical error and indicated it had to be taken to a service center.
So imagine, you know, if you have a situation like this and you're out in the middle of Montana, what happens then?
Of course, you're out in the middle of Montana.
No charging stations.
And of course, if you've got a charging station, it's probably not going to be able to charge the battery in those cold temperatures.
He later suggested a straightforward reset might have fixed the problem, but the customer service at Rivian did not mention that option during his initial call.
The vehicle is loaded on the flatbed truck, transported to service center hundreds of miles away.
And it cost him $2,100.
So, yeah, I guess he could just be happy that the steering wheel didn't come off in his hands like it did for people who had the Teslas.
I mean, you got a Tesla.
You don't need a steering wheel, right?
You got self-driving mode.
I guess as the steering wheel comes off in your hand, you real quickly punch up self-driving.
This is just technology that's being rushed out.
Got to have it now. Got to have it yesterday.
And you can't use what's working now anymore.
We're going to ban what's working and we're going to declare a new way to do things.
This is what happens when politics invades every aspect of your life.
As I've said many times, you're not interested in politics?
Well, guess what? Politics is very interested in you.
Politicians are especially. World's top climate scientists are issuing a survival guide for humanity again.
Another call for a major course correction and there is no time left.
This is another breathless article about impending apocalypse, climate and environmental apocalypse by CNBC. And as, of course, always, their source for this fear-mongering is the UN,
the UN's Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change, the infamous UNIPCC. They said the unprecedented challenge of keeping global warming to one and a half degrees means that we're going to have to be relentless in cutting global greenhouse gases.
Relentless. That means, you know, hey, you got a farm?
That's got to go. Sorry. Sorry.
I don't care about food.
We've got to stop the greenhouse gases no matter what.
And it's not unprecedented because we have seen them lying and we've seen their false predictions over and over and over again.
But you had UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres saying the climate time bomb is ticking.
But today's IPCC report is a how-to guide to defuse the climate time bomb.
It is a survival guide for humanity.
I wonder if he has a graphic like the one that Benjamin Netanyahu did a few years ago where he's taking time bombs and he's got like a round ball with a cylinder coming up and a cartoon version of a bomb behind him.
It will take a quantum leap in climate action, he said.
The initiative must see governments, quote, hitting the fast forward button on their net zero deadlines.
So you're going to see all these deadlines.
You know, they said, well, we're going to ban cars by 2050, 2045.
2035. Do I hear 2030?
2030 going once, going twice, sold to 2030.
And they're going to bring it even further back from that, right?
They're auctioning off your life.
And we've got to bring these net zero deadlines.
Can't wait until 2045 or 50.
No, we've got to bring them right now. Rich countries have got to commit to poverty for their citizens and austerity for everyone and slavery.
And they've got to do it right now.
It's now or never, they said.
Burning fossil fuels like coal, oil, and gas is creating a climate emergency.
And we've been under these emergency situations, you know, for 50 years or more.
Going back to the first Earth Day, where everything was going to freeze.
And so, why wouldn't the climate MacGuffin?
You know, if the climate MacGuffin can last...
For 50 years, and it can go from global freezing to global meltdown, and still the same thing has to be done.
Why can't the climate, the COVID MacGuffin, why can't that go forever as well?
And it will. It will.
Because it also requires all the same things that the climate MacGuffin does, whether it's warming or cooling or a pandemic, it's always the same thing.
So Michael Schellenberger, So the UN itself is a climate disinformation threat actor.
He says, we've got the cybersecurity infrastructure agency, CISA, and you've got the Department of Justice, and they're looking at social media, and they're looking at all these people who are putting out false information, deliberate disinformation.
How do people like Greta Thunberg get a pass?
How do organizations like the UN get a pass?
Because they're foreign influencers.
And they are leveraging misinformation, disinformation, and malinformation to affect our society.
And, of course, you notice how quickly they picked up on this banking failure.
They said, oh, I don't know if this is a failure of the banking industry.
I think this may be social media again.
I think we need to censor some more free speech out there.
I don't think anybody needs to be talking about any banks failing.
Shh! You hush. You know, it's not like EF Hutton is talking in the restaurant.
No, these are people talking on social media.
We've got to put a stop to that.
We have to, no matter what happens, again, right?
No matter what happens, it could be COVID, it could be a pandemic, it could be a global warming or cooling, whatever their current crisis is, if you disagree with them, it's got to be shut down because it is an existential issue for all of us.
We'll all die. You could create a bank panic, so we've got to censor social media.
You could tell people the pandemic's not real.
You could tell people that the Trump shot is deadly and untested.
So you've got to be shut down.
You've got to be shut down talking loose lips.
They're going to sink the economy as well as everything else.
53% of the people in the U.S. agree with this false statement.
53% of Americans say climate change is making hurricanes more frequent.
We only had one, maybe two, this last year.
Absolutely not true.
Pretty easy to prove.
But, you know, you had so much noise about that one hurricane that the perception of the public in that disinformation campaign was that it was gigantic.
So climate change threatens human extinction.
46% of people agree with that.
That's false as well.
I know the extinction is going to come from the Trump shots.
killing people, sterilizing people.
It's notable that the censorship industrial complex has shown no interest in censoring climate misinformation that's led people to believe climate change is making hurricanes more frequent, and it's going to cause human extinction and extinction of all kinds of species out there.
You know, perhaps it'll get rid of the pangolins and the bats and the raccoon dogs that gave us all COVID, right?
Could be a good thing, huh?
So, you know, the UN, Greta, they're all allowed to...
Gina McCarthy, the Biden administration's climate advisor, the one that is former climate advisor.
He's got a new one now. She demanded censorship of anybody that criticizes any of this stuff.
Well, you know, that's where this is all headed.
And at the same time, all this stuff is happening.
You have the UK Guardian...
Pushing an alarmist claim that climate change threatens coffee production, and yet yields are soaring.
Eels are soaring. None of this stuff is true.
As a matter of fact, if coffee production was going away, you wouldn't be able to get your coffee and then save the world.
But you can still get that.
What is going away is our mugs.
We've got a couple of mugs designs, and they're starting to...
Guardian won't tell you that.
I'll tell you that. They're starting to get low on stock.
I forget which one we're about to run out.
I think it's... Is it the first coffee cup that we're about to run out of?
Yeah, the one with a silver metallic handle.
And I really like that coffee cup.
Very pretty. But we're down to like one or two of those things.
I think just one left.
So I don't know what happened with the...
You may be able to get that last one.
I don't know. And then finally, David Attenborough is ramping up climate and ecological breakdown fears.
As usual. Always see that coming from him.
We're going to take a break. And when we come back...
We're going to talk a little bit about the real weather and about the real weatherman who had real compassion for the people he was trying to warn.
And he also said something else that I thought was very interesting.
He goes, I don't think I know where this thing is headed.
You have too much confidence in me.
That's what I've seen when I was at the American Meteorological Society.
I went to one of their conventions one year.
And spent a couple of days there watching what the meteorologists, the scientists were doing.
None of them could predict the weather.
I mean, it's this vast convention floor of everybody with their science project and other people giving presentations.
And they're all working on their models and trying to verify them.
You're going to tell people like that?
You know what the weather is going to be like in 50 years?
Give me a break. But they did have a Soros-funded organization that was there trying to shame weather forecasters into adopting the talking points of the globalists and selling global warming, even though they know better.
We'll be right back. Analyzing
The Globalist Next Move.
And now, The David Knight Show.
you you Welcome back, and at the top of the hour, we're going to be talking to Dr.
Duke Pesta. He's the executive director of the Freedom Project Academy.
We're going to talk about what's wrong with education.
We're going to talk about some positive things that you can do.
I have people contact me a lot and ask me about some of the resources that we use.
I haven't really gone into it much because they've all changed.
I've got some excellent books that I would recommend.
In general, what I would say is you want to teach history and things like that to your kids, go to original sources.
You know, go back to Alexis de Tocqueville.
It may challenge their reading, but that challenge is going to make their reading better.
They had much stronger vocabulary.
Even if you go back and look at some Civil War diaries, like the Diary of Mary Chestnut during the Civil War, kids who were...
Eight years old, had better writing skills and vocabulary than college graduates today do.
So there might be a little bit of a change with that, but they'll get used to it pretty quickly, and it'll actually help them.
Help them to write, help them to read as well, to get into that.
Of course, you can guide them through that and enjoy it yourself.
And so I would always recommend Original Sources, but he's an expert.
The dangers of common core, critical race theory, other things like that.
But he offers a positive solution.
We're going to talk about that.
A lot of people are always concerned about, you know, how is this going to look?
And, you know, will the kids get the information that they need?
Well, I can tell you that they're not going to get it if they go to school.
Here's an example. Chinese parents of school children are being forced to sign a pledge of allegiance?
No, atheism. A pledge of atheism.
I pledge allegiance to the idea that I can never prove that there's no God.
How about that? You can be an agnostic, but you can say, I'm pledging that I'm going to be ignorant about this.
That's what agnosticism is, right?
It means, you know, Gnosticism is knowledge, Greek for knowledge.
And he put an A in front of it.
And that means I have no knowledge.
That's what people are saying.
But to put an A in front of theism is to say, I know for a fact that there is no God.
Well, how did you investigate that?
You know, Richard Dawkins, we used to always joke about this.
Somebody came up with a comedy routine.
And Richard Dawkins absolutely dyed-in-the-wool atheist.
And so one person says, well, I've heard there's this person called Richard Dawkins.
But I've never met him or talked to him.
I've never read any of his writings, so I don't believe there is a Richard Dawkins.
I keep hearing all this talk of Dawkins this and Dawkins that, but I don't have any firsthand experience with Dawkins, so I... I guess I'm a Dawkins.
There is no Dawkins that I know of, according to my experience.
Well, this is all pure politics.
And this is one of the reasons why you have critical race theory and the Marxism that is there.
I don't like to call it woke. It's Marxist.
This has always been the way the Marxists have operated.
When they take over a society, they tear down everything else.
As a matter of fact, just take a look at this Black Lives Matter in the UK. Pulling down a statue.
This is what they do everywhere.
They pull down the monuments to the previous society that they're destroying.
And nobody stops them.
Black Lives Matter.
But of course, civilization doesn't matter if you're going to take this approach.
There it goes. That makes everybody feel better.
And what have they created? Nothing.
They destroy. They destroy, they offer nothing in its place.
And these are people who know nothing, can do nothing, offer nothing but a vacuum.
And guess who likes power vacuums?
Communist tyrants.
And so, in China, one particular city, Wenzhou City in China, is the focus of this report from Bitter Winter.
These are people who are monitoring the situation of Christians in China.
Parents have been forced to sign a pledge of atheism as a condition for their children staying in school.
Well, you know, we kind of had the same type of thing.
It's not explicit.
It's implicit. You will surrender your rights as a parent.
That's what the Democrats want to tell us.
You better not even speak up at a school board meeting or you're now a terrorist, extremist, right?
So you will surrender your rights.
You will surrender your religious liberties.
You'll be kicked out.
And, of course, we had this all through the Trump lockdowns and the Biden mandates and all the rest of this stuff.
You will surrender your religious beliefs to whatever the state tells you.
You know, if we tell you that you can't go to church, if Trump tells you you can't go to church, then you can't go to church.
Oh, it wasn't Trump, it was the governors, I forgot.
The governors that Trump was paying.
The governors that Trump continued to pay as they were putting out those orders.
You think if he didn't know?
I mean, he's threatened to withhold money from institutions that are doing things that he doesn't like all the time.
And he's telling us, as he's got a plan to get rid of the deep state, well, I'll just cut their funding.
Well, he knows that.
Everybody knows that. That's what they all do.
You've seen DeSantis cut the funding of schools and he doesn't like what they're doing.
You've seen Biden and Obama cut the funding of schools if they don't put boys in the girls' bathrooms and things like that.
Trump is just fine with everybody telling you, can't go to school, can't go to church, can't do this.
You will stay home.
And so there is a pledge of allegiance to whatever the government says.
There's no pledge of allegiance to the Constitution or the Bill of Rights that we say in school.
The pledge, which was issued earlier this month, is called the Kindergarten Family Commitment Not to Believe in Religion.
And it has to be signed by the parents.
You see, this is how she differs from the Democrats.
He tells you exactly what he wants.
He doesn't have to worry about your reaction to it.
And, of course, the Democrats are getting much more bold and explicit about what their demands are as well.
Yeah, I remember when we adopted our daughter from China, they had taken her out of the orphanage.
They thought that she was born of hydroencephalus, and they had her listed as a special needs child when we adopted her.
And... They had kept her in the orphanage and not allowed anybody to adopt her when she was younger to observe.
And then, you know, just as it is here, you've got one hand of the government not knowing what the other hand is doing.
So they simultaneously put her up for international adoption.
At the same time, they put her with a domestic foster family.
And so, you know, this went through, and I guess, you know...
What they did was they took her out of the family that she had been with for about four or five months or so.
They put her with that family even after the process that we were going through had started.
So I mean, again, they didn't know what they were doing.
So she's leaving that family that she was with for a couple of months.
And the father wrote her a letter and our translator told us what it was and gave her a little bit of money.
You know, it wasn't much. It was a nice gesture because they didn't have a lot of money.
They were really, really poor.
But, you know, it was about the same amount of money you take her to lunch at McDonald's for.
And they could not afford to do that.
And so it was a real kind gesture on his part.
But his advice that he gave her Was always obey your government.
Didn't say obey God.
Didn't say obey your parents.
Said obey your government.
And that is what they want.
And they're very explicit about it.
They will have no gods before themselves.
You'll worship me, says President Xi, and you'll have no gods before me, says Xi.
But it is explicit, whereas here it is a lot more implicit in what they do.
And so the parents have to sign it, and they have to put all the names of their children on this thing at kindergarten level.
The text of the document declares that parents do not hold a religious belief, do not participate in any religious activities, do not propagate and disseminate religion in any locations.
They also promise to raise, quote, civilized families, unquote, who, quote, do not believe in religion, do not participate in any religious activities, do not teach religion to children, unquote.
Which society was more civilized?
The more Christianized America of the 1950s?
Or Mao's China, where he was starving people by the tens of millions for his political power that came out of the barrel of a gun?
See, we don't have to worry about people who fear God.
We have to worry about people who think they are God, like Xi.
Parents have to promise to avoid feudal superstition, quote-unquote.
And to teach kindergarten children faith in science.
Ah! Faith in socialism.
And faith in the Chinese Communist Party.
Aren't you glad that America is not like that?
We don't have to have faith in science to be good citizens like Fauci.
We don't have to have faith in socialism.
Or here we have faith in big government.
And that's true of Republicans as well.
The MAGA cult, they got a lot of faith.
They got a lot of faith in Donald Trump.
That's where they put their trust.
And we don't have to, you know, we want children to have faith in the, not the Chinese Communist Party, but the Democrat Party, or the Republican Party, or put their faith in Trump, right?
We're totally different from China.
I'm so glad that we're not like China.
In the past, the higher-level education department made it compulsory for kindergartners to Not participate in cult organizations, but they did not mandate kindergarten children families not to believe in religion or to participate in any religious activities.
And when they mean cult organizations, it's like Fatala Gulen.
They have suffered unbelievable persecution for many years, but now they've extended that to Christians, to Muslims, in different areas.
In 2019, the Chinese district of Lashan launched a campaign to eradicate religious belief in kindergarten.
They forced kindergarten students to sign an atheist manifesto promising to avoid religious activities.
Can they write?
Make your mark here.
And of course, we don't have that here.
Here, in kindergarten, we have kids essentially, it's a de facto manifesto that you not believe in physical genders.
Both pupils and teachers were required to sign a statement and a pledge not to do this.
And so, yeah, we are so much better than they are, aren't we?
You cannot browse religious websites or participate in religious forums.
We don't censor websites or forums or social media stuff in the United States.
That's good. Including the Declaration, I will adhere to the correct political direction.
I will advocate science.
I will promote atheism.
I will oppose theism.
So, here we have, I will adhere to the correct political direction.
I will not oppose climate change.
I will advocate science.
I will push pandemics and vaccines.
And I'll promote atheism and oppose theism.
I will bow before LGBT. Isn't that great?
We're so much different from China.
The campaign forbade schools from hiring new teachers who hold religious beliefs.
They called for increased supervision of teaching staff, including comprehensive inspections of teachers' preparation for lessons in order to root out any and all religious content.
I'm glad they don't do that at universities in the United States.
Boy, we could really get stupid fast, couldn't we, if we had that kind of thing.
Stupid and authoritarian, really fast.
Wen Zhou is one of the most vibrant Christian regions in China and has also suffered some of the most severe anti-Christian repression.
You know those two things always go together?
The more the church is oppressed and repressed and attacked and punished, the stronger it gets.
Because you weed out the chaff, and the only thing that's left are the people who really sincerely believe it.
And then the church grows like wildfire.
In a sense, what these dictators do, if you were thinking of it in terms of an agricultural thing, you have some seed that's planted and then...
Satan comes along and he throws in a bunch of weeds and things like that.
And that can choke out the real plants.
But fortunately for the people in China, you have President Xi and his dictators come along and they pull out the weeds.
They pull them out of the church.
So what's left is a nicely weeded garden that grows like wildfire.
It was the scene of China's notorious cross-demolition campaign.
Which resulted in the destruction or the removal of hundreds of crosses and the bulldozing of some 50 Christian churches.
The buildings don't matter.
These were churches that had already signed on to the three-person self thing.
They'd already signed away their religious beliefs.
They'd already compromised them.
So to get rid of those buildings didn't matter at all.
As a matter of fact, the whole time we were in China, it didn't really strike me that I hadn't seen a church or anything like that, nothing with a cross, until we were on the train heading into Hong Kong.
As we got close to Hong Kong, it's like, oh, look, you know, crosses and, you know, a cemetery with crosses and churches with crosses and this and that, you know, start seeing signs of Christians there.
And it's like, yeah, I didn't even thought about that, that it, you know, didn't see any signs of that for weeks there.
Prior to the crackdown that's carried out last decade under Xi Jinping, the city skyline used to be replete with rooftop crosses, but now they've torn them down.
As I've mentioned before, President Xi demanded that if you're in one of these state-worshipping churches, if they put up a cross, they were required to put a portrait of Mao on one side and Xi on the other side.
Little did they realize that they've replicated a picture of Jesus with the two thieves on either side of him.
So they've got cameras everywhere watching what everybody's doing.
They've got cameras in the churches monitoring the services and the content that's being preached.
I wonder how many of those Stasi Chinese communists have been converted into In the process, taking notes.
They're probably paying more attention than most of the other people going to these state-bowing churches that are there.
The people who are really paying attention are by the surveillance cameras.
They install surveillance cameras in the churches.
churches, they said, for anti-terrorism and security purposes, although China has never had any threat of terrorist activity from Christian communities, well, you know, we do the same thing.
The TSA, at the same time, they were threatening to turn Texas into a no-fly zone because people were saying, you're not going to touch our kids and you're not going to scan them with the naked body scanners and all the rest of the stuff, and we don't like it either.
They said, all right, we'll turn Texas into a no-fly zone.
At the very same time, we got the documents from the TSA as part of a lawsuit, Discovery, they posted the unredacted Discovery documents by mistake for a better part of a day.
And what we saw that they didn't want us to see was that at the same time that was happening, back in 2011, they said there is no threat, the TSA said, there is no threat to airports, airplanes.
So then there's no threat to the Communist Chinese Party from the Christians either.
Xi has repeatedly insisted that scientific atheism is essential for the future of Marxism, and the, quote, total prohibition of any religious education for Chinese children is a part of this campaign.
In 2020, Open Doors, a Chinese persecution watchdog group reported that China had begun targeting children to stamp out future generations of Christian believers.
Kind of like the U.S. Department of Education.
We're so different from China.
Aren't you glad? Regulations issued in 2018 specifically banned church youth camps, forbade young Christians from sharing their faith with their friends at school, and prohibited anybody from the age of 18 from entering a church.
Can you imagine if we had something like that in the U.S.? What would that look like?
That'd be something like NPR and CDC and Fauci putting out things saying, you know the place that is most dangerous to your health?
Biggest threat to your health? That's church.
You go to church, there's people everywhere.
They're singing and all the rest of this stuff.
And so they're prohibiting people from engaging in that activity.
I'm glad we're not like the Chinese.
Christian students caught attending church or Christian youth group or sharing their faith.
Risk being fined or not allowed to graduate.
Yeah, so here you don't get the jab.
You can't go to church. You can't go to school.
You can't graduate. If you're a teacher and you pray silently on the 50-yard line after the game, they fire you.
You have to go to the Supreme Court and win $2 million against them.
That's a difference. They don't have that in China, I guess.
But yeah, you must obey Fauci.
You must take his sacramental jab.
Christian parents began discouraging their children from attending church activities out of fear of government or school reprisals, meaning that they have no exposure to Christian worship, Bible study, or sacraments.
Well, you don't just get that in church.
The parents can still teach that to the kids.
And that is something that is still there.
If they admit that they follow Jesus, they could lose everything they've worked for, unlike America, where if you had religious exemptions for the Trump shot, You would lose your military career, decades of service, you're just kicked out.
You would be kicked out of your career as medical staff, doctor, nurse, doesn't matter how many years you've done it.
Doesn't matter that you served without a vaccine through what they said was a pandemic.
No, if you don't take the jab, you're out.
You got a religious objection to that.
If you're an athlete, if you're a student, All these different things.
I'm so glad that we're different from China.
Do you have our guest on yet?
Okay, we're still not there.
So I've got some more time.
I want to talk about this as well.
I'm not going to play the clip.
I think everybody's pretty much seen this clip.
You can find it easily on social media.
The meteorologist praying for the Mississippi residents.
Just real quick. Dear Jesus, please help them as he saw what was happening.
As I said, it broke my heart because, you know, now 26 people have died.
Dozens of others severely injured.
The entire town wiped out.
It's like a path of destruction a mile wide.
This thing was going, what was it, 55, 65 miles an hour or something?
He saw it on the thing.
It's just amazing coming at you that fast.
And he's tracking this and he's warning people, And he says, you know, y'all trust me too much.
I tell you where it's going, and some of you are like, okay, well, that's where it's going to go.
We don't have to worry about it. He says, no, get to a safe place.
We don't know exactly where it's going.
Again, he's a real meteorologist.
He's the one, and he's been around for a long time.
And he knows that they don't have complete accuracy.
And then he saw that it was going to the city.
It was right in the sights.
And at that point, that was when he broke down.
It truly is difficult to see these things clearly and to not be able to warn people.
That's one aspect of it.
We've got our guest on the line ready, Dr.
Duke Pesta. So I'm not going to talk about the other part of this yet.
After the interview, though, I do want to talk about Some of the people who responded to that said, well, why didn't God save everybody?
You know, with a prayer.
And we'll talk about why bad things happen.
Because that is standard criticism of people.
And I understand where they're coming from.
I understand what they don't understand as well.
And you need to, again, these types of questions can withstand the scrutiny.
And there is an explanation for it.
Before we go to break...
I want to thank Angus Mustang.
Thank you very much on Rumble. I appreciate the support.
You've been a constant supporter of many people.
It's just a few people who always support the broadcast, and they've all been very faithful at one level or the other.
Thank you very much. He said electric vehicles have no soul.
That's right, but they do have a lot of surveillance equipment.
That is true. We'll go to a break.
We'll be right back with Dr. Duke Pesta, Executive Director of the Freedom Project Academy.
Stay with us. The common man.
They created common core to dumb down our children.
Please share the information and links you'll find at TheDavidKnightShow.com.
Thank you for sharing. If you can't support us financially, please keep us in your prayers.
TheDavidKnightShow.com Alright, welcome back and joining us now is Dr.
Duke Pesta. As I said, he is the Executive Director of the Freedom Project Academy.
I wanted to get him on because I have people all the time saying, yeah, I understand how bad the schools are, but how do I do this?
And we have to recover the understanding of how to do it.
It's just like a lot of people are looking at this stuff and saying, you know, in terms of food supply and supply chain issues.
Well, I know I need to start growing some of my own food, but...
I don't know how to do it.
It's all been lost. I haven't had anybody in my family on this farm for generations.
And so we have to recover some of these things.
Fortunately, this has been growing gradually for a while, and you've got some people like Dr.
Pesta who have been working on solutions for quite some time, and they've got some very mature solutions.
And so we're going to talk a little bit about how that looks.
But thank you for joining us, Dr.
Pesta. Thanks.
Nice to be with you. Thank you.
We were talking during the break there, and I asked him if there's anything he'd like to talk about.
He said, well, we could start with what you just ended up with.
Why do bad things happen to good people?
What is your understanding, Dr.
Pesta? I'm a university professor.
I'm a professor of English, and I teach the Western classics, often teach books like the Bible.
And so I usually talk to my kids about this.
And one of the points I make to them, because I hear that from sophomores all the time, if God is just and we should love him, how come he doesn't save puppies from being run over and this kind of stuff?
And my argument is pretty basic.
It's, look, Think about what you're asking God, that unless you give God, unless God gives you everything you want, you know, you don't want to die in a hurricane, a tornado, I get it.
But at what point do you stop that?
I mean, let's say that God says, oh, I agree with you.
We're going to take away all natural disasters.
And you're going to say, well, but gee, God, it certainly isn't good that people die of cancer, right?
And so God says, you know what?
We're going to take away cancer.
Pretty soon you're going to be asking him to make you taller and less bald and no acne.
And this is the point, right?
Is that the world we live in has its nature as God made it has its own consequences, including death, which is the wages of sin.
And so what we're basically asking God when we say that, I'm only going to worship a God who basically makes me God too.
In other words, I shouldn't have to die.
I shouldn't have to suffer.
I shouldn't have to be inconvenienced.
And isn't that literally what caused Lucifer to become Satan, right?
He wanted to become God, not God.
Worship God. Serve God.
And I think when you get to the bottom of those arguments, right, that natural disasters prove that God doesn't exist, well, that's one more example of how man seeks to become God ourselves.
Yes. And you go back to the Garden of Eden and you see the same impulses that we see in the technocracy.
You will live forever and you'll become like God.
That was the explicit promise.
And as part of that, You know, they ate the forbidden fruit.
Nobody died. You know, they didn't do any harm to their fellow man type of thing.
And so we typically dismiss that and say, well, what's the big deal?
Well, it was rebellion to God.
You know, God said in that day that you eat of it, you'll die.
He cursed the world, and that's the world that we live in.
I think it's interesting, Dr.
Pesta, you know, people, when they see something bad happening, they would call it an act of God.
But they don't say that when something good happens.
It kind of shows our fallen nature right there, doesn't it?
Well, I think about Nietzsche for a second, the great end of the 19th century, who said, God is dead.
We philosophers have murdered him with our knives.
He said that, do you not smell the stench of the death of God?
He did say also, Nietzsche, that in order for man to be worthy of the murdering of God, philosophically, man would have to become God.
If you get rid of God, then man will have to step up.
And you could not have had a Hitler or a Stalin or a Mao without that philosophy, right?
If there is no God, then the strong man becomes God.
And we could sum everything we're talking about.
We could sum it up with the first commandment.
I am the Lord your God. You cannot have strange gods before me.
If you put anything before God, you are becoming a God in a way.
And so it is amazing how basic, when you look at the theology of God, as Geo-Christianity has handed it to us, I mean, you really don't need much more than that first commandment.
If you follow the first commandment, going back 3,500 years, and you keep God in place, and you recognize his supremacy over everything, Then you're never going to wander astray.
It's amazing how in the modern world the first thing that happens is that we start by making science God, and now the God of science is turning on us, right?
Telling us that biology doesn't matter anymore if somebody wants to be trans.
That's right. Yeah, oh yeah, it does.
And of course, lockdowns and all the rest of this stuff.
We have a guy who appeared to speak for the God of science for a couple of years, and he was telling everybody exactly what they could and could not do.
Kind of a dictatorship, and that's what always happens when people see themselves as God.
But, yeah, it is truly amazing when we look at it.
I've had some people say, well, you know, when we look at these natural disasters and say, where was God in this massive death and destruction?
And he says, well, if you understand what your relationship is to God, it's kind of what Jesus said when he had some people say, but what about these people in Galilee that Pilate murdered?
Well, they're in the middle of a religious ceremony, massacred them.
And what about this tower that fell on all these people and they died?
Jesus reminds him, he said, look, you need to think about the fact that you're going to die someday, essentially is what he's saying.
And if you don't get your life, turn your life towards God, repent, follow him, and that type of thing, you're in much greater peril.
We're all going to die.
And we need to understand our need of Christ.
And so that is the key thing.
Instead of trying to put ourselves in positions you're talking about with Nishi, elevating ourselves to the level of God and putting him in the box as a defendant, we need to take a different perspective and start taking a look at ourselves as well, I think. Yeah, go ahead.
I was going to say, that sounds really good.
I think that's a good summation.
Oh, well, thank you. Let's talk a little bit about, you've been an opponent of Common Core for a long time.
And of course, that's where a lot of this stuff began.
And the Department of Education, I've interviewed Charlotte Isby many times before she passed away, talking about the deliberate dumbing down of America.
And the fact that they wanted to control curriculum from a central position, attach dollars to it, and so it's given us things like Common Core.
It's given us things like critical race theory.
Talk a little bit about those things and the trajectory that you've seen over the last several decades in terms of education.
This moves so quickly that Common Core is almost passe now.
What was a big deal 12 years ago, now it's completely been swallowed up by the next thing, which is critical race theory and the radical sexuality that you see going on in your classrooms, the LGBTQ stuff.
And I think...
Charlotte was wonderful, rest her soul.
She was one of the first people in the Reagan administration.
Even when you had a president like Ronald Reagan, the Department of Education was doing nasty things.
And so she exposed a lot of that and put it on the map.
Once you created the Department of Education, you gave the federal government their nose under the tent.
Constitution is clear.
There is no mention of public education anywhere in the founding documents for a reason.
Our founding fathers knew that if you put a federal entity in charge of education, it would not be long before that federal entity was educating children for their benefit, not for moms and dads and local communities.
And so it's amazing how fast things changed.
1979 rolls along.
Here we are 50 years later.
And now the education, what happens in our kids classrooms is dominated by what the Department of Education says.
The Department of Education has been given taxpayer money under lies.
When Biden took over, you remember how he asked for trillions more in COVID relief?
We ponied up again, as we always do.
And then billions of those dollars, billions and billions, were handed to the Department of Education to hand out grants to public schools to put critical race theory in.
This is why we should have no federal messing with education.
But Common Core, I'll say this about it.
It was the final step.
I think you suggested this.
It was the final step that actually opened the pipeline between the federal government and your backyard school, your little local school district.
That set up the pipeline once and for all.
And now it's working the way it's supposed to work, according to the left, where Autocrats, people who've never been elected to anything like Cardona, our Secretary of Education, are taking taxpayer money, which they shouldn't have, and bribing local school districts and threatening them to start having trans bathrooms and letting boys in showers.
Because if you don't do any of those things now, you're not going to get your federal money.
And almost every single state, however conservative, has a liberal Department of Education.
So on the state level and the federal level, you either conform or you go without your money.
Yeah, if they fund it, they're going to control it.
And the way they control it is going to be through these curriculum and through testing and all these different things.
And that's been on there for a long time.
I said for the longest time.
If we don't have freedom of education, there will be no freedom of speech and there'll be no freedom of religion.
And we see that those are the things that are really under attack in the colleges.
And it seems like all of our institutions have been taken over by this kind of philosophy, people who are steeped in it.
And I think it's just because they've been recycling people through generation after generation These institutions, you know, they go all the way from kindergarten through graduate school or whatever, get their degree, and then they go right back into the school and teach what they just learned, and that next generation, every generation, it becomes more concentrated, doesn't it?
Yeah, I think we've got pretty much for people under 35, the vast majority of them have been educated this way.
And what was the demographic that killed the red wave?
What we were supposed to, in this horrible economy, everybody was geared up, we were going to see this.
What killed it was single young women Under the age of 35, they voted in record numbers.
And the college kids, 18 to 29s, they voted in record numbers.
And they were the ones who completely transformed this and handed government back largely, I mean, a small gain in the Congress.
But the Senate in particular stayed left because those young people who have been miseducated for three generations now, they're becoming the future of this country.
That's right. Yeah, if you take over the schools, you take over education, you've taken over all of it.
And as I was talking about before you came on, that is one of the reasons why you have communist dictators or dictators of any political philosophy, like President Xi, who is having kids sign a kindergarten.
To get into kindergarten, your parents have to sign a statement saying they will stay away from all religious instruction and all the rest of this stuff, because they must be the ones who are going to set the worldview and the foundation for people.
So you've got the Freedom Project Academy, and let's talk a little bit about how this works, because I think with the silver lining, certainly a big silver lining of this lockdown through the pandemic, was that parents got a chance to see what was actually going on in their child's classroom.
And I've had this discussion with people for many, many decades, I've said, because they've been pushing back against this even before we homeschooled our kids, And I said, look, look at what's happening in Washington.
Look at what's happening at the state level.
Look at what is happening in your school district.
Look even at what is happening in your own school.
And they'd always say, no, but it's different in my kid's classroom.
We got a great teacher. Well, they got a chance to see what was actually going on in the classroom, and it scared them to death.
So tell us a little bit what your classroom looks like.
Well, you know, you asked at the very top of this segment, you asked, you know, a lot of moms and dads know something has to be done, but they don't know what to do.
One of the great blessings of being in this country, and you mentioned this, is we're not yet China, and so homeschooling is a viable option, or decent private schools.
So there are a lot of ways to do this, and most moms and dads say, hey, I want to pull my kids out of public school, but I don't know what to do with them, and I don't have any idea how to homeschool them.
We created Freedom Project for that purpose.
It's an online Christian school from kindergarten all the way through high school.
It's classical education, so you're not getting any of this LGTBQ garbage, and we do it live.
we have live teachers on the internet who will, your kid can log in and they've got a classroom of 25 other kids all across the world.
Actually, we've got kids in 14 foreign states, 48 states and 14 foreign countries.
And they'll have classmates.
Kids can talk to each other.
They can talk to the teacher and they can bring, because of technology, they can have music and timelines and pictures and film clips to help with education.
So we create a virtual classroom that is every bit the equal, I think, of the typical model.
But it's in some ways better because there's more privacy.
This is happening in your home.
No one at Freedom Project, none of our kids have had to miss a day of COVID. They never had a school shooting.
They've never been bullied by sex.
They've never been forced into the wrong bathroom because they get this education in your living room.
And so it is one answer, I think.
And we are accredited.
Our kids are graduating, going to colleges.
We do all the transcripts and grades for you.
So it is... But meanwhile, you can watch if you wish to because we record the live classes.
As soon as the live classes are over, we record them.
You, mom, mom and dad, you have access to every single second of your kid's education.
All you got to do is get on that site and go back and you can find everything that was said, everything that was done.
You control and see everything.
And so we believe education, one of the reasons education has lost its way is It's because educrats and teachers unions and miseducated teachers have taken all the parental rights and they've adopted them while ignoring your kids' education.
In a school like Freedom Project, we're giving you a school structure and we're allowing you at home to be in charge of it.
That's really interesting. And, you know, there's so many different ways for people to approach it.
You know, just like we have, you know, you can have homeschools or you can have private schools or charter schools or this or that or a regular public school.
There's a lot of different ways that this can be done.
And as you're pointing out, this is...
A classroom situation, like a Zoom class, and parents can see everything that is being done in the classroom so they have an opportunity to monitor it, which is something that you wouldn't get out of a charter school or something like that.
You would still have this kind of, well, what is really being taught there?
And the key part of it, I think, is the fact that you have that oversight ability because there's always this uncertainty when it's out of sight.
What is going on? Even if you could have one teacher, And they may be totally out of sync with the rest of the faculty or the principal or the mission of the school, but they could go do their own thing and you don't know that in a school environment or in a charter school environment because that class is hidden from you.
And so I think that's a real key thing, yeah.
It is. And I think even with the charters and some of the private schools, people have to realize that many of the private and many of our so-called Christian schools have been infected with all of this.
In fact, some of the most intolerant CRT and LGTBQ programs are in our Christian schools, believe it or not.
And as with the charters, as with the private schools, you said it a moment ago, they're still taking money from the state or the feds, which changes how they're able to do things.
Once you start taking money from the feds, this is like all the state legislatures too.
Once you take money from the feds, you get addicted to that money.
You decide that you can't live without that money.
And so you're willing to change anything.
Even in Christian schools, you're jettisoning the Bible and replacing it with social justice issues.
And so, yeah, you've got to be very careful about that.
But the key is exactly that.
Moms and dads are the stakeholders.
They should be in charge, ultimately.
That's right. And people will say, you know, what?
What's the matter with the schools? They're totally failing.
And I've said for years, they're not failing.
They're doing exactly what they were designed to do.
As you pointed out, you know, there was actually a Babylon Bee satire, and they said, miracle, this student graduates from seminary class and still believes in God, you know?
I mean, it's in all of the Any of them can be subverted.
That's why it's very important to be able to see that.
And in your particular approach, you have a situation where the parents don't have to do the schooling, but they still have the visibility and the educational resources are still there for the parents to have full...
I should say, I guess, the resources are accountable to the parents, which you don't have in these other formats.
And yet, it offloads a lot of the work from parents, and it looks more like a traditional school.
But I think a lot of people are concerned about the different approaches to homeschool.
They don't know exactly what they're going to do in terms of How do I teach this class or that class?
And there's different approaches that have come, but this is one that people would instantly recognize because it's so much in structure like a class, but the focus is on the academics and keeping that focus rather than some kind of a social agenda.
Yeah, and the nice thing about this is that if you are comfortable homeschooling your kids, and let's say that you're doing a great job up until they're juniors in high school, but you have no idea as a homeschooler mom how you're going to teach them chemistry.
Well, you could just take a chemistry class.
Or if you have to keep your kids in the public schools, I hope you wouldn't.
But if you keep your kids in the public school, but you're very concerned that the history of America they're learning is one big lie, which is what it's going to be.
And we have moms and dads who keep their kids in the public schools, but they take...
A history class from us.
We do three years of American history in high school and it's completely originalist history.
It's not about rewriting history.
It's not about social justice.
It's the actual history of this country.
So their kids will get bad history at the public school.
But then when they come home, two times a week, mom and dad will sit them down and watch an actual recorded history class from us that at least gives your kids a second way of seeing things.
We have a lot of moms, too, who have kids in public schools.
And so the kids don't know how to do math.
And so they're learning all this goofy math stuff that is completely non-intellectual.
Well, you can set that aside and show them some of our math, which is traditional math.
And right away, the light bulb goes off.
Kids who couldn't do math in the public schools now can do it because, lo and behold, we're teaching them math, not social justice math.
Yeah, that's very important, and that's a real key advantage because that is the issue when you get to the higher levels.
What do we do for chemistry?
What do we do for these other things?
And what has become commonplace is for people to have a co-op type of situation.
But that doesn't mean that you've got anybody there that is really qualified to teach chemistry.
You've got somebody who signs up to do it.
And, you know, they'll try to stay a couple of lessons ahead of the kids doing it.
But if you could take a particular class or set of classes and kind of do the classes a la carte is what you're talking about, right?
Yeah, wonderful. Something that people are looking at, you know, a particular deficiency of your ability to teach or something that you would just like to offload.
You can offload that particular class if it's something that you don't like.
So you don't like math. Well, you could offload math to the Freedom Project Academy, right?
Yeah. Yeah, and the nice thing is we, for high-achieving kids, we have at the high school level advanced economics, we have marine biology, we have astronomy, we have really good class of physics that you would be hard-pressed.
I certainly couldn't teach them.
But we also, for kids who are remedial, So if you find out that your fourth grade is really reading at a first grade level, which is likely to be the case, you can bring your kids to us and we have remediation programs to get them caught up as well.
We can then take not just the high achieving kids and give them those high level courses that homeschool is hard to do.
We can also take kids who are behind and try to catch them up because we have a different paradigm in the public school.
In the public school, As long as every kid is equally bad, that's justice, right?
That's fairness. The problem are the kids who get ahead.
The high achieving kids are the ones that are being artificially held down.
That's what the common, by the way, in common core meant.
People didn't realize it.
All that meant was everybody's gonna get the same education, a common education.
And to do that, you can't raise standards.
Every time you raise a standard, kids fall off.
Every time you lower a standard, more kids are included.
And look, inclusivity is the only virtue the left now believes in.
As long as every kid is the same kid, and that means much lower, then we have racial and social justice.
I remember when Common Core was being pushed and you had Bush out there talking about no child left behind.
Well, you know, the converse of that is no child gets ahead.
That's right. And no child left behind meant don't fail them.
It didn't mean educate them.
It means everybody gets a diploma.
Everybody gets a passing grade.
Everybody gets to go to college.
And this was a so-called Republican president.
So going back to the Department of Education in 79, whether you've had Republican, conservative, or Democrat presidents, all of them have moved education to the left.
That's right. Yeah, it's all Lake Wobegon curriculum, where everybody's above average.
But, you know, the reality is, as you're talking about remedial classes, to give an example, we talked about in Chicago, for example, they had over...
30 schools, I forget the exact number, but over 30 schools where there were no students reading at grade level.
And they had over 50 schools where no students were able to do math at grade level.
But as you point out, they're fine because everybody's equal.
We've dumbed everybody down to the least common denominator, but I guess they wouldn't understand that either because they don't do math.
It's even worse than that.
It's not that everyone's equal.
You're superior. If you don't know math, math now and science are considered white supremacy.
The idea that the empirical method and facts and truth, objectivity...
These are being attacked by the socialist left as racist, sexist constructs designed to keep minority and women people down.
That's the whole point. So science is hard.
Math is science. Math is hard.
So our response? Well, they must be white supremacists So therefore, the fact that if minority kids in the inner city schools where there's no discipline, there's no family support, if those kids aren't getting the same grades as kids in wealthy suburban schools, well, then it's got to be racism.
And the problem isn't the school.
The problem is math itself and science itself.
And that type of attitude, I remember Walter Williams before he passed away, that enraged him.
He said, what you're saying here is that black people can't do this, or black people can't do that, and so we've got to dumb it down.
He says, you know, that's what he hated so much about all this stuff.
But let's talk about what classical schooling is about, you know, kind of reclaiming the tools of loss, the lost tools of learning.
Let's talk to people a bit about what's involved in classical schooling.
Well the first thing I would say about classical education is something nobody ever mentions.
It understands human nature.
Classical education starts from the premise that we're all different.
That not all of us are going to be good at everything.
That the purpose of education is not to make us the same.
It is to make us more individual.
I, for instance, in second grade, I had a first grade math ability.
I still have a first grade math ability.
I was never going to get it.
It was not me. And yet, when I was in second grade, I had a 12th grade reading level.
See? And back then, they let me read 12th grade books in second and third grade.
Can you imagine with the one gift God gave me, the ability to read and to write?
If I had to be chained to my second-grade peers for the next 10 years before I even got to 12-grade books, that one tool that I had would have been destroyed.
In the same way they're destroying math kids, if you're forcing...
A two-year-old, a second grader who can do ninth grade math, if you're forcing that kid to keep doing second grade math, that math talent is going to rebel.
It's going to fall to pieces because it'll have been destroyed.
So when we teach kids like individuals, that allows kids who are good in sub-subjects to jump ahead.
That's not discrimination.
That's education.
We've lost that idea.
And before you say anything else about classical education...
It conforms to human nature.
This progressive education doesn't because it literally holds everyone down, strangles everybody from what they could do by insisting that unless they're the same there's some kind of discrimination.
It reminds me of Kurt Vonnegut's novel, Harrison Bergeron, right?
Where if anybody could run, they'd put weights on their legs.
If they could dance, they would tie them up so they couldn't dance because they can't let anybody excel.
If you've got some natural talents or some developed abilities, we're not going to let you use them.
And that really is what we have incorporated everywhere, I think.
You know how that story begins, right?
Harrison Bergeron. It's wonderful.
It says something like, in the year 2097, because of the 187th amendment to the U.S. Constitution, finally, all people were equal.
There you go. That's great.
Yeah, that's one to remember.
I start out the program every day with a quote from Orwell, you know, as the clock strikes 13.
This is what's happening.
This is the date as the clock is striking 13.
That's kind of the world that we live in.
What's that? Two plus two equals five, remember.
That's right. Yeah, that is a key.
So it allows people to pursue what, and to, as I pointed out earlier, you know, the a la carte nature of it, I think that is something that is super valuable.
No matter what way you, what path you choose to educate your child, that is an incredibly valuable resource to try to pull in something that they're struggling with, to try to shore that up, or if it's something that they're super interested in, maybe you can go a lot deeper We're good to
to say, and I want to make sure we get this said, you also got to have a little faith if you're a mom and dad, especially if you're a Christian mom and dad.
Look, do you really think God blessed you with kids that you yourself could not educate?
That doesn't make any sense.
That if God gave you those children, the idea that you are powerless to educate them, why would that system exist, right?
Why would God give you children only somebody else can educate?
That doesn't make a lot of sense.
So if you start with a little bit of faith, I've met tens of thousands of homeschool moms across the country giving all these common core talks, and I can tell you one thing.
I've never yet ever, not one single time, met a homeschool mom who regretted doing it.
That's right. Neither have I. Everybody has been one of the biggest...
They look at it, it's like this daunting task as they're looking at all this stuff, and they put pressure on themselves.
But as they get into it, as they take each day as it comes, I have...
It's seen over and over again. Parents who never regret it.
They love it. It's one of the biggest blessings of being a parent was to be involved personally in your child's education.
That's the way that God intended it.
And if you do this, you want to honor God, God will honor that.
And He will make things happen.
People need to step out in faith about that.
So tell us a bit more about classical education, some of the classes that are available at Freedom Project Academy.
Well, we believe classical education means, on top of everything else, teaching kids how to think, not telling them what to think.
It's not prescriptive.
It's not ideological. Let a child wander.
If he wants to read, the more he reads, the better.
The higher he reads.
If they want to experiment with science and math, you encourage that.
You don't try to discourage them.
And they'll find out. Kids are smart enough.
They'll find out where their wheelhouse is.
So just nurture them. So with classical education, then, the one thing that I would say that separates us from everything else, besides the fact that it teaches kids to think, critical thinking, is the fact that it's very...
John Ross Powell, Ph.D.: It's dependent on history.
If you don't know what happened, then you're going to be condemned and repeated.
If we can't learn from the past, then we're animals, or we may as well be animals.
We make the same mistakes again.
This, by the way, is why the public schools hate history.
They either ignore history or they rewrite it along ideological lines.
If we told the truth about socialism, it would be the first idea canceled.
We're canceling the founding fathers because a small percentage of them own slaves.
Okay, if that's enough to disqualify them, then you should completely disqualify socialism on the hundreds of millions of people it killed.
But that's the ideology.
Socialism is the answer to the problem, no matter how many people had to die.
And the founding fathers had to go because 250 years, they lived in a world that was not like ours.
Yes, that's very true.
And talk a little bit about critical thinking.
As I've said many times, you know, education is not the filling of a bucket, but it's the lighting of a fire.
Trying to find, as you pointed out, what your kids are interested in, what they're good at, what their wheelhouse is, and then supporting them in that.
But also, it's very different, as you point out, the goal of our government institutions are to tell people what to think.
Your goal is to try to tell them how to think and how to think critically, right?
Absolutely. That's exactly right.
And you do that by exposing them to different arguments.
Look, we're a Christian school, but we have our kids read the Greek and Roman mythology, the Odyssey, the Iliad, the Aeneid, not because we want them to choose paganism, but because...
This is one flaw of homeschooling.
Oftentimes homeschool moms and dads are so protective of their kids that they only have them read books from their own worldview.
The problem with that is when you go to college, you're immediately going to hear arguments attacking that worldview.
But you've never heard those arguments before.
You don't know what other people think.
And so that's why so many homeschool kids collapse when they get to college and become liberals.
It's because they can't They defend what they believe because they've never read what the other people think.
So classical education is about that.
Think about it. Why does Washington, D.C. look like a Roman city?
You've got buildings and monuments that look like something from ancient Rome, including the White House with its pillars.
That's because the founding fathers, all of them were Christians or at least deists.
There's a handful of deists. Most of them were Christians.
They all believed in God.
They read the pagan classics.
They read Plato and Aristotle.
They learned about democracy and forms of government.
And the first great republic in the world was the ancient Roman Republic.
So for all their Christianity – so I like to explain it this way.
The ethos and the moral spine of the founding of this country was Judeo-Christianity, going back through the New Testament all the way to the Old.
But the structure of our government isn't Christian.
It's Roman in a way.
It's a republic.
And so if our kids aren't reading and understanding that, they're going to be easy prey for radical leftists.
Like you mentioned that when I logged on here, you were talking about Chinese education where you got to sign off on no religion and all that.
By keeping your kids away from other worldviews, you are doing effectively what the Chinese are, only keeping them in a box itself.
And then when a better argument seems to come down the road, they have no ability to defend what they believe.
That's right. And if they understand history and they understand Roman history, for example, they understand we've got to be careful about crossing that Rubicon and going from a republic to an empire.
And I think we crossed that Rubicon here.
Many, many, many ways, and people don't understand the difference between those two.
They just say, well, I've heard something somewhere about Rome.
I love your Rubicon example, right?
The die is cast, Caesar said.
He crossed the Rubicon River, and forever Rome ceased to be a republic and became...
A tyranny, an empire, an emperor, basically a king to an emperor.
And not knowing that, you and I went to school and we got that kind of education.
My university kids have never heard any of this stuff.
Seriously, my university kids, only about, I would say about 80% of my university kids, they know that Thomas Jefferson owned slaves.
Only about 30% of them actually realized that he was president of the United States.
It's that bad. Well, what's bad is that they are focusing them on sex at such an early age.
I mean, it really has, life has become a combination of Orwell's 1984 and Harrison Bergeron from Bonnegut and Brave New World.
You know, when you look at these schools, it's absolutely insane what has happened to them and how quickly it has happened in those schools.
And so it is very important for us to understand the alternatives.
Tell us a bit more about some of the classes that you have, because I think it's very important that people understand that they can get some of these things a la carte.
To me, that is a very, very important feature.
Absolutely. We have economics courses at every level because of kids.
Math is important, but if kids don't understand money and how to stay afloat, there's going to be big problems, all the debt.
Maybe I could pay for a Jerome Powell to enroll.
Yeah, exactly right.
Well, one of the requirements we have for kids in middle school is that they take Latin.
Not only is Latin a great language in terms of its historical knowledge and its biblical knowledge, but Latin also is a mathematical language.
You have to place things in certain ways.
It's very analytic.
So by teaching kids Latin as the first language they learn in sixth and seventh grade, they're going to be prepared to do Spanish and French and Italian at a much higher level because, of course, all those languages are based on Italian.
But there's something so mathematical and analytically precise about Latin that it really helps them in math and science, too.
So we have that. We have the advanced economics.
We have economics. History courses that are American and civic-based, too.
Our courses in American history don't just teach history, but civics, something that the public schools ignore.
We also have, as I mentioned before, we have literature classes.
Hang on there a second and talk a little bit about that distinction with civics.
Oh, boy, it's a big one.
So teaching kids history is oftentimes fraught because, as we've seen, people like Howard Zinn in the 70s created history textbooks that were so viewed through the lens of socialism, not democracy and freedom and the republic.
And so you can skew history, but civics you can't.
Civics is what our rights and responsibilities are, what we are allowed to do, what we owe our country, what our country owes us through law.
All of that stuff.
What the responsibilities of freedom are.
And those can't be made up.
What's in the documents say this is what we can and can't do, what we must do, what our liberties are, how government is limited.
Government works for us, not the other way.
That's the thing that our kids aren't getting.
So they don't see the value of the Constitution because all they're taught in their history classes is that the white men who created the Constitution eliminated women and minorities.
And then we move on to something else.
But when you read the documents and you find out civically what benefits and what wonderful prescience they had, suddenly you don't look at them so negatively.
So civics without history is problematic, and it's one of the reasons why we are in the trouble we are today with young kids when they vote.
Yeah, and of course it's also true, you know, as you come as a Christian background, if people don't understand human nature, they're not going to understand one of the reasons why we keep repeating the same mistakes over and over again.
Regardless of the technology, they want kids to think that because they have computers or something like that, there's so much...
More advanced than the past and that the rules don't apply, but the issue still remains human nature, and that's what doesn't change, and that's one of the key things that we learn out of history.
But continue on with some of the other things that you have.
Well, I would say, too, about that point, because you want to know the best definition of classical education is that, right?
That socialism is...
Yeah, I think.
It treats people as collectives, not individuals.
Socialism wages war on the individual.
Well, you mentioned Christianity.
I think Christianity has always been the kryptonite of socialism.
Why? When he came, he did not offer salvation collectively.
That was something you had to work out with God through your own free will.
There has never been a greater voice in human history than Christ when it comes to the worth and the power and the uniqueness of every individual.
We're all made in the same image of God.
And that transcended ethnic groups, the transcended male and female, and all the rest of these things, isn't it?
There's highly individual about that.
You're exactly right.
And it is why they have to attack that.
One of the reasons is they don't want there to be any God except them.
But the other part of it is that as well, because if they reduce you, as we saw with all the public health stuff, right?
Public health is this imaginary thing, but we can destroy all the health of the individuals in order to serve this construct we call public health.
Yeah.
And the reason we're in the mess that we are in our schools is because we are removing Christianity.
The Christianity is slowly being eradicated from our culture, and with every step back, Christianity takes steps.
Socialism takes two steps forward.
And so if you really want to fix this, and this is one of the reasons, by the way, homeschool works, because many, not all, but many homeschool moms and dads are Christians.
And they're educating their kids to preserve the Christian way of life.
And notice what happens.
Not only are those kids remain, they keep their faith.
They are better students.
They do better on math and science and reading and writing in college.
So when Christ is there, That's right.
Yeah, it's one of the reasons why all these socialist collectives have always failed throughout history because, as you point out, they don't understand human nature.
It was a problem for the pilgrims.
It was a problem for all these, you know, the United experience and all the rest of these things.
And they would come back and say, well, the problem's not socialism.
The problem is the families.
And we've got to get the kids away from the parents at an earlier and earlier age.
We see all of these threads.
If we know history, even just recent history, we can see all of these threads, all these arguments that have gone back for hundreds of years, very, very similar to what we have right now.
We've got to get rid of parents.
We've got to get rid of Christ.
We've got to get all that out of there.
And we've got to get the kids at an early age so we can indoctrinate them.
That's why it's so important for We're good to go.
Capitalism is a perfectly fine idea.
It works. However, some capitalists abuse it.
The problem with socialism is the idea.
The problem with capitalism is that some people might misabuse it.
Nevertheless, the idea does work.
Yeah, any system that you have, a bad actor in a system, doesn't necessarily mean that the system itself is bad.
It's an opportunity for you to purge that out and not be corrupted by it.
It's an opportunity for reform to the system.
But the problem with any system is going to be the individual human element, and that's the key thing.
But as you point out, socialism is inherently flawed in its very structure.
So tell us a little bit about your approach to things that are more basic, like math and reading, how that differs from the government's approach.
Well, we do hardcore phonics.
You want to teach your kids to read, read fast, and read well, you've got to teach them phonics.
No sight words, none of this garbage they're doing in the public schools now.
Amen. That's true.
I can say that. Everybody that I've known is phonics.
It really is, yes. It works.
And this is why you said something very early on.
These schools are failing because they see failure academically as a way forward.
This is not a mistake.
The public schools aren't interested in turning your kids into educated people.
Educated people won't follow instructions.
Educated people won't surrender their freedoms to socialism.
So they're literally, not figurative, literally holding your kids back so they don't know.
That's why they teach sight words.
That's they're trying to get kids to look at words and memorize them.
And then it's not a mistake.
They can't do it. They can't read.
They can't do math. Kids who can't read and do math and look after themselves, kids who can't become entrepreneurs and take care of their own families, they will turn to government to do it for them, which is the endgame here.
So we do traditional math, traditional science, purely empirical, right?
All based on memorization of...
We don't do common core weirdness.
Our reading is phonics-based.
We have them reading good books that have moral and historical lessons in them from the time they start going to school.
Our grade levels are what they were 20, 50, 100 years ago.
By the time your kid starts and graduates high school, we want to make sure that kids can theoretically do calculus by the time they graduate from high school.
We want to make sure they're doing algebra before they get to high school.
They got to be reading serious books before they get to fifth grade or they'll never read better books.
So it's not complicated.
We've been doing it. We did it for a thousand years.
It's just in the last 50 to 70 years we threw it all away and went with all of this ideological crap from the departments of education that these indoctrination sites are turning kids away from teaching truth and turning all this ideology.
I agree. And of course, the solutions, everybody, one of the big problems is that most people in our society, and it doesn't matter if they're left, right, Republican, Democrat, most people still see government as a path to a solution.
If we just elect the right people, if we got the right president in place, but the solution really is for us to step up and to do it ourselves.
And that was always what Alexis de Tocqueville talked about, the strength of America.
They would see something that was a problem and they would take care of it themselves.
If they needed a library, if they needed a volunteer fire department, he said the Americans will put it together.
He said in France, where they were under socialism, they're waiting for the government to come to their rescue.
The Americans will step up and do it.
But we've lost that. And the reason we've lost that is because it's been educated out of our...
And we need to reclaim that.
That's one of the key things about taking responsibility for education.
That's where it all starts.
And that's where all the problems in our society are founded.
And that is in the kind of education that we have now.
I really like what you're doing there at...
Freedom Project Academy.
And the website is...
I've got it here on my sheet here.
Tell everybody where the website is.
We start enrolling in middle April, so this is very timely.
And check us out at fpeusa.org, fpeusa.org.
All kinds of information about our school.
You can see every class we teach, every book we assign in every class.
You can see that. Whether you come with us or not, you could take our whole curriculum.
Just take it. Just get your kids educated well.
We start enrolling in about three weeks, and if you have any questions, you can get a hold of anybody.
Just go to fpeusa.org.
April 11th, and it is fpeusa.org.
And I have to say, I absolutely agree with your philosophy of education.
It's one of the things that we used to do kind of ad hoc back in the days when we educate our kids.
We'd go down to the bookstore and they'd have these books, you know, what your third grader needs to know or whatever.
We'd look at that and say, no, they don't need to know that.
There's something they need to know that's not in there.
And, oh, by the way, they're going to teach the other third graders this, so we need to teach them how that is.
Teach them that and teach them how why we don't agree with that.
You know, teach the controversy there.
And that's part of the critical thinking.
I really do agree with what you're doing, Dr.
Pessa. Thank you so much for coming on.
And again, that website is fpeusa.org.
A great place to find resources, and that'll get you started for sure if you're trying to get your kid out of this system that seeks to dominate them.
Thank you so much, sir. Thanks for your time today.
Thank you. All right, we'll be right back, folks.
Stay with us. The common man.
They created common core to dumb down our children.
If you can't support us financially, please keep us in your prayers.
TheDavidKnightShow.com Well, we've got just a couple of minutes left, and I want to thank on Rumble.
Thank you very much, Howard. That's very generous.
I appreciate that. He says, thank you for your hard work and diligence, your great blessing from God to me and my family.
Well, thank you. You are a great blessing to me and my family.
Thank you, Howard. Appreciate that.
And on RockFan, Gina Morris, thank you also for the tip.
I appreciate that very much.
He had a lot of very good answers, and he had the answer to, I think, what many people are looking at with this situation.
And you hear this after every major disaster, and I guess the question is, and I would just add, the only thing I would add to this, is that as we look at the bigger picture, we understand that As Christ was saying, why did that tower fall on those people?
Well, understand that unless you repent, you will all likewise perish.
Now, he's not saying that they died because they were sinners.
As a matter of fact, what he is doing is he's pulling that back for us to all look and examine our relationship with God and to emphasize the fact that it is a limited time that we have here.
We look at this and we say, well, you know, go back and as you get to my age, you look at the different health issues or economic issues or somebody who died accidentally or died from cancer, people that I've known from high school that are no longer with us.
And you look at it and again, it's there but for the grace of God go I. And the question is, why has God been so merciful to me to give me another day?
To try to understand my relationship with him if I'm not in a relationship with him.
Or to get closer in my relationship with him if I am in a relationship with him.
What does it all mean?
What does it mean when the Bible says it is better to mourn at a funeral than it is to celebrate at a wedding, right?
Because you are looking at the bigger picture.
The time that we have here is so incredibly brief.
And if we don't understand that, we will not get the bigger picture.
And if we do understand that, even when things are difficult and go horrific for us, we understand that's just a short period of time.
That is something you see in the story of Lazarus and the rich man that Jesus gave.
Here was a person who was, in the best of circumstances, but is going to spend an eternity And a place that is so horrific.
I look at that story, and I always think about that.
I think Charles Dickens, who was influenced heavily by Christian culture, but he was predominantly a socialist.
He was looking for social goods to help people and not a relationship with God that's going to take a look at their eternal position.
And in a sense, he imagines a situation where the business partner, Marley, comes back and tells Ebenezer Scrooge And warns him.
And yet, what Christ says, as the man is being tormented, who has rejected God, and we say, is that an excessive punishment?
Well, again, we're talking about if we understand who God is, not just the creator of the universe.
But this kind being that has sacrificially given so much to us for us to turn our back on that, to curse that, to reject it.
What kind of a rebellion is that?
And as Christ says, well, he says, please send me back to warn my brothers.
And he says, well, they have the law, they have Moses and the prophets.
And if they won't listen to them, they wouldn't listen to a ghost either.
So maybe there is a lesson for us in that.
Thank you for joining us.
