	It's the David Knight Show.
	♪♪ Well, it's Wednesday, October the 9th, 2019, and this is an historic day.
	And we're going to take a look at this letter as President Trump has decided to defy Nancy Pelosi, Adam Schiff, and these committees.
	It's a very detailed letter.
	I'm seeing, as I look at the media, this has been out, I guess, about 14 hours.
	I think it came out about 5 or 6 o'clock yesterday.
	And we've had a lot of ink written about it.
	A lot of people talking about how defiant Trump is and how he is having a meltdown and all this stuff.
	Now, they're not really talking about the letter.
	So today, I will talk about the letter.
	I will read the letter to you.
	I'll make some comments and I want your comments.
	We're going to take those phone calls after we go through this letter.
	But this is a very, very big deal.
	This is a huge escalation in the fight between Nancy Pelosi and the Democrat House and President Trump.
	And we've never really seen anything like this before.
	I haven't really seen this before.
	It is an amazing letter.
	I think you're going to be very interested to find this.
	You know, when we look at what is going on with this.
	And there's a lot of different aspects of this.
	This is a very dangerous time for President Trump.
	He played nice with them as they had the Russia-gate conspiracy.
	There was absolutely nothing to that.
	We said that from day one.
	As we looked at the declassification of this phone call and then the declassification of the whistleblower complaint, I read those on air, analyzed them as they were being released.
	They got released, both of them, during the program.
	One was released right before the program.
	And I pointed out, look at this, there's absolutely nothing here.
	We saw the phone call first, there was nothing there.
	Nothing inappropriate.
	As a matter of fact, as I pointed out, the Ukrainian president was the one who brought up draining the swamp in the phone call, when President Trump called it.
	And then when we got to the whistleblower complaint, right up at the very front it says, well I didn't actually hear any of this, but I've been told by reliable sources, now we find out Maybe the reliable sources were Adam Schiff, because one of the most amazing things that's broken in the last 24 hours is that the committee, Schiff's committee, met with the whistleblower before the complaint was filed.
	So they meet with a whistleblower who wasn't present.
	He doesn't have any first-hand knowledge of this.
	But he meets with the Democrat committee before putting together the complaint.
	And then puts together a complaint saying, well, you know, this is a really suspicious phone call I've been told.
	You know, around the water cooler or wherever, or maybe in Adam Schiff's office he was told this.
	And then, as he goes through the process, he says, and the President is taking extraordinary precautions to protect communications in the White House.
	Well, why do you think that would be?
	Would it be because so many people in the White House, including CIA assignees, are leaking everything to the press and to Democrats and putting a spin on it to make it into something that it isn't?
	And so he says, well, I think they're trying to hide this.
	Well, they didn't hide it.
	They put it out there in an unprecedented move.
	Nothing like that has ever been done before.
	And then further in the complaint, the next big section of it was, take a look at all the other events that are happening.
	And as he goes through the events, you can see that the timeline shows again clearly that these efforts to investigate corruption in the Ukraine were happening months before the phone call.
	Months before!
	And so we're going to take a look right as soon as we come back.
	We're going to get into this letter.
	I tell you, you know, as we look at what is happening here, I think a big part, as I said yesterday, a big part of why President Trump said we're going to get out of Syria is he really needs the support of the American people.
	And the problem is he didn't support free speech when it got shut down with the alternative press.
	And now his tweets, which he relied so much on, are not having that much of an effect.

	I'm going to read you the letter, not just the spin from the mainstream media.
	This is a very big deal, and I want to get your phone calls about this.
	I want to hear your opinion about where this is as soon as I finish reading this.

	Perhaps you've read the headlines.
	I want you to hear the actual letter that President Trump put out.
	Rather than the interpretation that's being put on it by the mainstream press, by CNN, by Microsoft, by Microsoft, or even by MSNBC, or even by Fox News.
	We're going to go to the actual source and actually read it.
	Of course, we had President Trump blocking the ambassador from testifying yesterday, but then the letter, I think, lays everything out very succinctly, and it is truly amazing.
	To see behind the scenes what has been going on.
	I don't think there was anything happening.
	As I said, we went through the whistleblower complaint as it was being released that morning.
	And we had already seen the transcript of the phone conversation that happened.
	We've now found out that not only did Adam Schiff Lie about the contents of what was on the phone call.
	But he was meeting with the whistleblower before the whistleblower complaint, or his committee, was meeting with the whistleblower before the complaint was filed.
	And the whistleblower said, I didn't actually hear anything, but I've been told by reliable sources that this is what... Was it the Democrats that told him?
	Was it the CIA as part of this coup?
	So President Trump is defiant now at this point.
	You know, with Russiagate we saw him play this very passively.
	Let this whole thing run out.
	And we said from the very beginning it was fraudulent and it was fraudulent.
	Eventually the documents came out to show that it was fraudulent.
	Eventually let Mueller run through this whole charade.
	And there was nothing there, so they start something else.
	Completely manufacturing it out of thin air.

	Let's take a look at the letter that was released late yesterday afternoon.
	This is addressed to Madam Speaker and the Chairman.
	I write on behalf of President Trump in response to your numerous legally unsupported demands made as part of what you've labeled contrary to the Constitution of the United States and all past bipartisan president as an impeachment inquiry.
	You notice that?
	Think about that.
	This is a point that is hammered on in this letter from President Trump's counsel.
	This is not an impeachment process.
	This is simply an impeachment inquiry.
	And when we look at the language games that have been played for the longest amount of time with our federal government especially, they're the ones that are really destroying due process, not just for the president.
	But for ordinary citizens all the time, you know we have this thing that's been around since the Reagan administration, we call it civil asset forfeiture.
	That is a word game just like impeachment inquiry.
	To say that we can take your property and we don't have to give you any due process, we don't have to find you guilty, we don't even have to charge you with a crime!
	And we've seen over and over again, in trial after trial, if the government doesn't like you, If you're somebody like Cliven Bundy and his family, or if you're like Schaefer Cox, or if you're like Ross Ulbrich, if they want to set you up as an example, they don't give you any due process.
	They don't show you evidence.
	That would show that you're innocent.
	They withhold that evidence.
	They keep you from calling witnesses.
	We have seen this over and over again.
	And now it's being done to the President of the United States.
	Are you paying attention, President Trump?
	It's not just about you.
	Due process has been destroyed in America for a very long time.
	It's about time you and the other Republicans wake up and do something about it.
	And Democrats as well.
	Democrats and Republicans ought to be ashamed of what has happened to the legal process in this country.
	And we're going to talk about this specifically about the President.
	But it isn't simply about the President.
	We need to start getting back to the Constitution.
	And we need to start respecting due process and the presumption of innocence.
	And when you play these kind of word games saying, well, I'm not going to call it A fine.
	I'm not going to say... I'm going to call it civil.
	Because if I called it criminal, then I would have to give you due process.
	I'm not going to give you due process.
	I'm not going to give you a presumption of innocence.
	I'm not going to give you protection against excessive fines.
	I'm just going to call it civil.
	And so that's exactly what the Democrats are doing here.
	Well, we're not going to call it an impeachment because that has a certain amount of understanding and due process associated with it.
	We're going to call it an impeachment inquiry.
	Oh, now it's just an inquiry.
	So we're not fining you and taking your possessions.
	We're just going to call it a civil asset forfeiture.
	It's civil.
	It's civil.
	So you have to sue us to get your stuff back.
	We can take it without even charging you with a crime, and you have to sue us to get it.
	So with President Trump, and they've let this thing go on for so long, I would say this is bottom-up corruption.
	Those of us on the bottom, President Trump, have been seeing this kind of corruption for a long time.
	And it's about time you wake up.
	Maybe you will, because it's being done against you.
	I hope so.
	It's absolutely horrible what has been done to other people.
	And they're now doing it to the President as well.
	So they call it an impeachment inquiry.
	For the present, Cipollone writes, as you know, you have designed and implemented your inquiry in a manner that violates fundamental fairness and constitutionally mandated due process.
	That's right, you just use that, you call it an inquiry instead of saying it's an impeachment process and you're fine.
	It's all in the label, isn't it?
	They can use those terms to prevaricate and to dodge and to get around the Constitution.
	And they've been doing it for a long time on a lot of different issues for all of us little people.
	And now they're doing it to the President.
	It's about time somebody fight back against this.
	And I'm glad that he's doing it.
	I'm glad that he's doing it.
	For example, says Cipollone in this letter from the White House to Nancy Pelosi and others.
	For example, you have denied the President the right to cross-examine witnesses.
	To call witnesses, to receive transcripts of testimony, to have access to evidence, to have counsel present, and many other basic rights that are guaranteed to all Americans.
	Yeah, that's the problem.
	They haven't been guaranteed to all Americans.
	If the government is interested, like I said before, if it's the Bundys, if it's Ross Ulbrich, If it's Schaeffer, Cox, people like that?
	Oh, no, no, no, no.
	You're going to be given the same treatment that they're doing to President Trump.
	You're not going to be allowed to examine the evidence.
	You're not going to be allowed to call witnesses.
	They're going to rig the process against you 15 different ways.
	And now they're doing it to the President.
	Going back to the letter.
	You've conducted your proceedings in secret.
	Oh that's right, yeah.
	Just like the FISA court and other things.
	You have violated civil liberties and the separation of powers by threatening executive branch officials claiming you will seek to punish those who exercise fundamental constitutional rights and prerogatives.
	All of this violates the Constitution, the rule of law, and every past precedent.
	Never before in our history has the House of Representatives, under the control of either political party, taken the American people down the dangerous path that you seem determined to pursue.
	Put simply, you seek to overturn the results of the 2016 election and deprive the American people of the president they have freely chosen.
	And we're going to talk more about this when we come back.

	Well, things are just going around and around in circles.
	Just like it did with the FISA report.
	You know, hire somebody to write a dirty dossier.
	We send it over to our pals in British intelligence.
	And then somehow it gets leaked to the press.
	The CIA guys go to FISA court, whatever.
	You know, look, this is in the press.
	Oh, wow, we got evidence of this.
	See, everybody's talking about this, right?
	Goes around in circles.
	And that's what's happening right now.
	You have the Inspector General has said that the whistleblower, this is reported by Brian York, Washington Examiner, has a professional relationship with one of the 2020 candidates on the Democrat side.
	He said the whistleblower had worked or had some kind of professional relationship with one of the Democrat candidates, said York's source.
	They also said that the CIA whistleblower Self-disclosed that he was a registered Democrat, had a prior working relationship with the current 2020 Democratic presidential candidate.
	And this is the way this is working, folks.
	You've got a registered Democrat with the CIA, goes to Adam Schiff's committee.
	They refer him to a Democrat operative attorney.
	And then they help him to file a whistleblower complaint on a form that they had to alter.
	Why?
	Because they don't take whistleblower complaints about second-hand information.
	That's hearsay evidence.
	So let's alter the form here.
	We'll alter that form for you and pretend that this is a real whistleblower complaint.
	It's not.
	It's gossip.
	It's water cooler gossip.
	It's Adam Schiff gossip.
	And so it turns out that the second whistleblower that we're hearing about is perhaps the source for the original whistleblower complaint.
	Which didn't have a source.
	Except for this guy.
	He wasn't a witness to this.
	And this is just going around in circles.
	But let's get back to this actual complaint and then we'll take your phone calls here.

	I think it's important to look at the actual letter because everybody is talking about the letter.
	There's a lot of spin talking about how President Trump is losing it, how he's stonewalling, how he's violating the law.
	How dare him do this?
	Well, I'm going to give you his side of it.
	And I think when you finish reading this letter, you're going to be saying, how dare Schiff and Pelosi do this?
	It's absolutely amazing what they're doing.
	They're the ones who are taking the unprecedented step, and yet you would not know that from looking at the headlines and the summaries.
	Of what has happened in the last 24 hours.

	We've already got some people on the line and then we'll get to some of your phone calls without having you hold on for too long.
	But where I left off, they were saying that, put simply, this is just the Democrats seeking to overturn the results of the 2016 election and deprive the American people of the president they have freely chosen.
	Many Democrats now apparently view impeachment not only as a means to undo the Democratic results of the last election, but as a strategy to influence the next election, which is barely more than a year away.
	And quite frankly, that ties back to this whistleblower.
	So-called whistleblower.
	He's not.
	He's a gossiper.
	He's a CIA disinformation gossiper who has ties to one of the current candidates.
	Getting back to the letter.
	As one member of Congress explained, he is, quote, concerned if we don't impeach the president, he will get re-elected.
	And that is a reference to Al Green on MSNBC back in May 5th of 2019.
	Your highly partisan, unconstitutional effort, writes the President's lawyer, Cipollone, to Nancy Pelosi, threatens grave and lasting damage to our democratic institutions, to our system of free elections, and to the American people.
	For his part, President Trump took the unprecedented step of providing the public transparency by declassifying and releasing the record of his call with President Zelensky of Ukraine.
	The record clearly established that the call was completely appropriate.
	There was no basis for your inquiry.
	The fact that there was nothing wrong with the call and again, we went over that transcript in detail and then compared it to the gossip and the disinformation that was in the whistleblower complaint released the next day.
	The fact that there was nothing wrong with the call was also powerfully confirmed by Chairman Schiff's decision to create a false version of the call and to read it to the American people at a congressional hearing without disclosing that he was simply making it all up.
	In addition, information has recently come to light that the whistleblower had contact with Chairman Schiff's office before filing the complaint.
	That's what I just told you, right?
	Going back to the letter, his initial denial of such contact caused the Washington Post to conclude that Chairman Schiff, quote, clearly made a statement that was false, unquote.
	In any event, the American people understand that Chairman Schiff cannot covertly assist with the submission of a complaint, then mislead the public about his involvement, Read a counterfeit version of the call to the American people and then pretend to sit in judgment as a neutral investigator, quote unquote.
	Well, that is pretty succinctly summarizes it right there.
	For these reasons, President Trump and his administration reject your baseless unconstitutional efforts to overturn the democratic process.
	Your unprecedented actions have left the president with no choice.
	In order to fulfill his duties to the American people, the Constitution, the executive branch, and all future occupants of the office of the presidency, President Trump and his administration cannot participate in your partisan, unconstitutional inquiry under these circumstances.
	Now, I've got more to read about that letter, but of course when you look at the reactions to this, Nancy Pelosi, he's gone off the rail.
	He is a tyrant.
	He's a dictator.
	He's got to be taken down now more than ever, right?
	This is even more grounds for impeachment.
	No, it isn't.
	It isn't.
	As a matter of fact, core to all of this is what I read in the last segment, which is the fact that they mask it as an inquiry rather than as an impeachment process.
	And that's the next section of this letter.
	Your quote-unquote inquiry is constitutionally invalid and violates basic due process rights and separation of powers.
	Your inquiry It is unprecedented in the history of our nation.
	the House of Representatives has never attempted to launch an impeachment inquiry against the president without a majority of the House taking political accountability for that decision by voting to authorize such a dramatic constitutional step.
	Here House leadership claims to have initiated the gravest inter-branch conflict contemplated under our Constitution by means of nothing more than a press conference at which the Speaker of the House simply announced, quote, an official impeachment inquiry.
	This is, when you have, impeachment is a serious process.
	As I pointed out, it is the most serious inter-branch conflict that you can have.
	Where one branch of the government says, we're going to have to remove the president.
	As one of the Republicans, I forget which one it was, said, maybe it was, was it Pompeo?
	He said impeachment was designed as a check on the executive.
	A check on the executive by the House.
	It's a very serious issue.
	It's not a check on the electorate.
	It's not a way to overturn the election, which is the way that they're using it.
	This is an attempt to smear, to discover, to bring me the man, I'll find the crime.
	Call it an inquiry.
	An impeachment inquiry.
	Instead of doing the process of impeachment.

	Pelosi's big win.
	Is it really?
	Is it really President Trump who's lawless?
	That's why I'm reading in detail this letter, which they don't refer to.
	The letter, written by President Trump's lawyer, Cipollone, his legal staff, makes it very clear that what Nancy Pelosi is doing is a very deceptive process, as deceptive as what Adam Schiff did in his imaginary version of the Ukrainian phone call.
	What Nancy Pelosi is doing is an impeachment inquiry.
	An impeachment inquiry.
	So it's not really an impeachment, so we don't have to follow the due process.
	It's just an inquiry.
	But as far as her base is concerned, as far as the public is concerned, it is an impeachment process.
	But Nancy Pelosi is holding all the cards.
	So in a sense, it is a win.
	Because the mainstream media is successful in pushing this narrative.
	You know, one of the things that you can see on the Drudge Report is the fact that President Trump has tweeted out over 11,000 times.
	But his engagement is going down on Twitter.
	Isn't that interesting?
	You know, as President Trump and Republicans have stood by and allowed free speech in the public square to be suppressed for everybody else, now they're getting their own speech suppressed.
	It's not just people getting tired of hearing about President Trump.
	You know, we had the New York Times on Friday write a long op-ed piece saying, free speech is killing us.
	Killing us.
	Yeah, it is killing the mainstream media, the New York Times, CNN, others.
	That's why they have to suppress free speech.
	You know, Infowars thrived on free speech.
	And the movement to push back against globalism thrived under free speech.
	That's why they have to cancel free speech.
	What does it say about you?
	When you have to kill free speech or for your own survival, New York Times, CNN.
	You know, you got people at CNN who basically made it their entire job to beg social media to purge InfoWars, to take us off of YouTube as well.
	What does it say about CNN that they cannot compete in the marketplace of ideas?
	They cannot compete with the truth.

	First, the students and the radical law professors there said, we don't want him speaking here.
	When he showed up to speak, because the administration said, no, other people want to hear him speak, so we're going to have him here.
	So they showed up to shut down his speech.
	And as people said, what's going on?
	What kind of principles are you teaching people in law school that you don't support free speech?
	You don't support debate?
	You don't support the First Amendment of the Constitution?
	What is the matter with Georgetown Law School?
	With the administration?
	With the faculty?
	With the students?
	Everybody there?
	That you would shut this down?
	They said they've been absolutely silent about it.
	And they're not the only ones.
	This is happening across all of the universities.
	This kind of fascist, authoritarian intolerance.
	Everywhere.

	And I wanted to pray for not just the nation, but your families, my families, Infowars.

	And we need to take the larger perspective and understand that if we don't have God's blessing in this, you know, the founders of this country understood that liberty is a blessing from God.
	It's not something that you can just take on your own.
	You know, even some of the most, the founders who are most deist in their orientation, in other words, believing And a vague Creator God who set everything up and then took a vacation.
	He's gone fishing or whatever.
	He's not involved in our everyday.
	That's not my view of God, by the way.
	But even those of the founders who had that viewpoint, as Benjamin Franklin said, as they were getting ready to do the Constitution.
	He said, you cannot help but see the providence of God.
	And the fact that, you know, we were able to defeat the biggest military that the world had ever seen at that point.
	And so he said, we need to kick this off with a prayer and ask for God's guidance.
	And that's exactly right.
	They constantly talked About God's providence.
	They constantly talked about the blessings of liberty for themselves and for their posterity.
	And we need to be thinking about that as well.
	I really agree with you.
	I challenge everybody on Monday at 8 o'clock to pray for the President, for the country, for our families, for our economy, for our health.
	And let's see a miracle happen.
	Let's see something change.
	Something big.
	So if everybody will join.
	On Monday at 8 o'clock.

	And, you know, part of our prayer when we talk about things is to assess ourselves and our country and to not be afraid to speak out when we see moral degeneration happening in our country.
	God does not bless an immoral people when we murder thousands of children a day When we force harmful treatments on people, when we deny due process, when we do all these different things, unjustified wars and so forth, if we are going to continue down that path as a people, We are not going to be blessed.
	Our prayers will not be heard.
	And so we need to do some self-assessment as individuals and as a nation, and we need to not be afraid to speak out against the things that are wrong in our society.
	But let's go back to this letter, and then we'll get back to some of your phone calls.

	Before filing the complaint, the whistleblower, who had not witnessed anything, Went to Adam Schiff and his committee before filing the complaint, and then was put in contact with a partisan Democrat lawyer, and this CIA whistleblower has had contacts with one of the current candidates.
	Does this smell fishy to you?
	I mean, without even knowing all of this background, from the very beginning I said, if you look at this situation, and you look at what Biden was caught on videotape bragging about, And if you look at the letters that were written by Democrat senators to the Ukraine, demanding that they investigate people affiliated with President Trump and so forth.
	When you bring that up, you are screamed at by Chuck Todd on NBC, screamed at Senator Johnson.
	This Sunday.
	Shut up, you're a conspiracy theorist.
	If you want to talk about Biden, you're a conspiracy theorist.
	We're not going to talk about Biden.
	We're not going to talk about what the Democrat senators did.
	We're not going to talk about what the DNC did with Alexandria Chalupa during the election, trying to manufacture dirt with Ukrainian crooks on President Trump during the campaign.
	We're not going to talk about any of those three things.
	We're only going to talk about President Trump.

	This is a story about a man who was in love with a woman.
	He was in love with a woman.
	We're going to go to the calls here in just a moment and we're going to continue going through this letter.
	It's very important for you to hear the statement made by President Trump's lawyer because you're not going to hear the argument made.
	You're going to see the headlines that President Trump is making lawlessness normal, that he is stonewalling, that he is crazy, that he's got to be removed.
	That he thinks that he's above the law?
	This is the way that the press is going to be spinning this.
	And they're getting away with it, quite frankly.
	It's been a massive move in terms of the number of people supporting impeachment.
	As you probably have seen the headlines on the Drudge Report, now 3 in 10 Republicans support Trump impeachment.
	3 in 10!
	It was.
	It's now 28% of Republicans say they support the House impeachment investigation.
	A 21 point jump.
	From a poll in July.
	So it's gone from 7% to 28% in a short period of time.
	President Trump thinks that he doesn't need alternative press.
	He doesn't need free speech of his supporters, of the independent media.
	He thinks that he can do this with Twitter.
	And yet he has tweeted out 11,000 times, but only a third of Americans read them, according to the Washington Examiner.
	They said in a poll that was conducted by Public Affairs Council Morning Consult, they said they found that 37% read his tweets very often or somewhat often.
	That's down from 42% last year.
	Trump's tweets are not read as widely as journalists in the White House often assume.
	Only 15% of the public read his tweets very often.
	Now, one of the reasons for this, this is a public opinion poll.
	Now, if they're asking people, how often do you read President Trump's tweets if you are subscribed to him?
	They say, only this amount of time or whatever.
	How often are they really seeing it if Twitter is suppressing it?
	They have a lot of different ways to control what you see, don't they?
	I have seen, for the last year, I've seen my followers capped.
	You know, they'll go up, up, up, and then over about five days, and then for the next two or three days, they'll take off 50, 60 tweets.
	And that is regardless of what I say, or even if I'm saying anything.
	I can be tweeting or I can be silent, whatever, they'll still go down.
	To keep me within a very narrow range of people, to put a cap on the people that I have.
	And I notice that the people who are typically retweeting or commenting are people who typically have tens or maybe a couple of hundred followers.
	The people who used to engage with me who had thousands, tens of thousands, hundreds of thousands, that has been taken away.
	And so they not only have the, they can not only cap The number of people who follow you, but they can also cap what people see of you.
	And when they start to remove people, they like to remove people who are going to have a broader reach first.
	So the followers that you have as they cap your followers are qualitatively different.
	So it's a rigged platform.
	I'm not doing too much with Twitter anymore, quite frankly.
	I mean, they're going to control that platform.
	President Trump is not going to do anything about it.
	He doesn't think that he needs to.
	He thinks that he can handle this on his own.
	He's got Fox News, which is increasingly stabbing him in the back with the exception of Tucker Carlson.
	And he's got Twitter.
	And yet people are not seeing this on Twitter.
	And he's losing this war.
	And it really is a war of opinion.
	They've made it very clear that this is about making sure that President Trump doesn't get re-elected.
	And so this is a campaign of slander by the Democrats, by the media, by social media.
	And if they can control what people see and hear about President Trump, they win.
	President Trump, on the other hand, you know, besides having Twitter, he has a strong economy.
	We see U.S.
	unemployment rate has hit a 50-year low of 3.5%, the lowest since 1969.
	He's just signed a trade deal with Japan that will basically bring back anything that was lost and more.
	Some things were lost when we got out of the Trans-Pacific Partnership.
	And that was an acceptable trade-off for our own sovereignty.
	I've talked many times about what the Trans-Pacific Partnership was about.
	It was about creating a supra-national, above national sovereignty, creating an organization.
	All of these multilateral trade agreements have a sovereignty aspect to them.
	And he was right to get out of that.
	He's wrong to rework NAFTA into the USMCA.
	But he's now got that back.
	That's going to be a help to farmers.
	So the economy is very important.
	The steps that he has publicly taken to get us out of Syria is very important because that, regardless of how this plays out at this point in time, in public opinion, it is perceived as President Trump putting America first and stopping these endless wars.
	Now, as Joel Skousen pointed out yesterday in his interview with Alex Jones, this may be a deeper game that's being played by the Deep State, hoping that they will get a larger war, and then use that to get us back into what their plan has always been, that is larger involvement against Iran, fighting in both Syria and directly against Iran.
	So they're hoping that that's going to happen, but in the immediate present, President Trump is holding to his, the very popular policy of putting America first and ending these foreign wars, having a strong economy.
	Now, if he's got those two things, that's going to help to fight back against the Democrat impeachment quote-unquote inquiry, which is not an impeachment process.
	And that's what this whole letter is about.
	This whole letter is saying you have, you're calling it impeachment.
	But at the same time, you're calling it an impeachment inquiry.
	And you're saying, well, because it's an inquiry and not because it's a formal impeachment process, we don't have to play by any rules.
	Nancy Pelosi and Adam Schiff get to make up all the rules.
	And that's really what's wrong with this.
	And this is how this, what this letter is all about.
	Saying, I'm not going to play that game.
	You either go through the formal process of impeachment, and there is a process.
	And it includes due process for the President's side.
	But if you're going to call this an inquiry, and it's going to be one-sided, and you get to make up all the rules, and you get to suspend due process, we're not going to play that game.
	But that's not the way that it's being reported in the press.
	That's why we're going to go into this in more detail.

	Yeah, they're all saying there's nobody available to take your call, and then it clicks over and says that their voicemail is full and you can't leave a message.
	They're hiding.
	They're being cowards.
	I'm trying to get in touch with them and tell them that, you know, this is the guy they picked.
	This was their guy.
	And it's time to pull your head up out of the hole in the ground and take a little risk and let the world know that you're going to support him and you're going to fight this thing.
	You know, I I've even tried to get a hold of Mitch McConnell's office.
	you know, to find out before he finally came out, you know, and said that he was going to go ahead and support the president and tell him that he better just do that. And I'm glad to see that he's coming around a little bit, but it seems pretty wishy-washy and nobody wants to go on record with whether they're willing to support the president or not.
	Well, you know, I think a lot of this, Sue, is you look at the reaction of the Republicans and they're unilaterally against President Trump when it comes to stopping even just one of these never-ending wars.
	They're very upset about that.
	And as I said yesterday when I was talking about this, regardless of what's going on with Turkey and the Kurds and so forth, the bigger picture here is that President Trump, I think, is trying to go over the heads of the Washington insiders, including the GOP, and go directly to the public.
	Because I think he has finally realized these people don't really support his agenda, they don't really support him, and I think the key thing is going to be getting people who – getting the public to support him.
	But again, if they're not taking any phone calls, you're not even allowed to leave a message, it's pretty hard to register your dissatisfaction with their inaction, isn't it?
	It is, and I read the letter last night.
	I thought it was brilliant, and I'm glad to see that he's fighting back.
	But, you know, in my own mind, I think part of the problem all along has been a spiritual problem, and that is that President Trump used to be one of them.
	Yeah.
	And I had heard some reports in 2015 and 16, you know, running up to the election,
	That President Trump had accepted Christ as his Savior, that he was embarking on a journey with his salvation and relationship with the Lord, and I reserve judgment about that, but as I've watched him and I've seen him change his positions on a lot of important things, I tend to believe that that is true, that he is on a journey of faith.
	And I think that unfortunately, all of the people that are in D.C.
	that are really demonically controlled at this point, and I think a lot of them are just all the way gone, they can recognize the spirit of God working in Donald Trump.
	And a lot of the people out here, just the masses as well.
	And I think that's what's really driving all this Trump hatred and hysteria.
	Yeah, I agree with you.
	You know, when we look at his record on issues, for example, one of the things that he's been solid on is really religious freedom, pro-life issues and so forth.
	He's been pretty touch and go on things like the border wall, for example.
	But he's been right there in terms of religious freedom.

	We're taking a look at the letter that was released, because as I look at the press reports, I see a lot of headlines, I see a lot of commentary, but I don't see a lot of facts.
	And the facts are, the central fact of this letter, remains that Nancy Pelosi is playing a game by calling this an impeachment inquiry.
	By calling it an impeachment inquiry, she doesn't have to play by the rules of impeachment.
	She gets to make up the rules.
	And what do those rules look like?
	Well, in this letter, continuing on with it, Cipollone, President Trump's lawyer, in this letter writes, your inquiry, quote-unquote, is constitutionally invalid, violates the basic due process rights and separation of powers.
	In the history of our nation, the House of Representatives has never attempted to launch an impeachment inquiry against a president without a majority of the House taking political accountability for the decision by voting To authorize such a dramatic constitutional step.
	Here, the House leadership claims to have initiated the gravest inter-branch conflict contemplated in our Constitution by means of nothing more than a press conference at which the Speaker of the House simply announced an official impeachment inquiry.
	Your contrived process is unprecedented in the history of the nation.
	And it lacks the necessary authorization for a valid impeachment proceedings.
	And so the central point of this letter is that if you're going to call this an inquiry instead of an impeachment process, I don't have to respond to what you're doing.
	And what he is saying is that Nancy Pelosi is the one who is making this lawless step.
	But that's not the headlines you're going to see from the mainstream press.
	And the internet mavens, the people who control the internet, Google, social media people, as well as the mainstream press, who've now been put back into their monopoly situation for the most part, are going to be giving you a very different spin on all this.
	But here's what the letter goes on to say.
	The committee's inquiry also suffers from a separate fatal defect.
	Despite Speaker Pelosi's commitment to treat the president with fairness, The committees have not established any procedures affording the President even the most basic protections demanded by due process under the Constitution and by fundamental fairness.
	Chairman Nadler of the House Judiciary Committee has expressly acknowledged, at least when the President was a member of his own party, that quote, the power of impeachment demands a rigorous level of due process.
	When did he say this?
	That's right, that was in defense of Bill Clinton, right?
	That's what Jerry Nadler said at the time.
	The power of impeachment, Jerry Nadler said when it was Clinton, when it was his own party, Nadler said, quote, the power of impeachment demands a rigorous level of due process.
	In this context, he said, due process means the right to be informed of the law.
	Of the charges against you?
	Of the right to confront the witnesses against you?
	To call your own witnesses?
	To have the assistance of counsel?
	All of these procedures have been abandoned here.
	That's right.
	And guess what?
	All of those procedures have been abandoned with thousands of families who have had their children taken by CPS, not even under an accusation Of sexual or physical abuse.
	But because of things like a complaint from a in-law, or an estranged spouse, or a neighbor who doesn't like the fact that they haven't, that they're homeschooling their kids, or by a medical quote-unquote professional who doesn't like the fact they haven't vaccinated their kids.
	I have talked to parents over and over and over again.
	Who have their kids taken away, and they can't even find out what the charges against them are, just like the President right now.
	Now, President Trump, to his credit, has just put out a bill that is aimed, I don't know if it's going to be effective or not, that is aimed to roll back some of the CPS abuses that were institutionalized by Hillary Clinton's bill.
	Yeah, it takes a village to take your child.
	She was very proud of what she did, and she did it in the name of adoption.
	Look, I think adoption is great.
	I've got a couple of adopted kids.
	I think adoption is wonderful.
	But you don't get to steal other people's kids.
	And you don't get to do it for profit, which is what the bureaucracy is doing.
	And all of these complaints about due process Right?
	Being informed of the law, being informed of the charges against you, being informed of the right to confront witnesses against you.
	President Trump, you sat there in your Oval Office and said we're going to take the guns and do the due process later.
	You can't deny due process to your fellow American citizens and then expect to get it yourself.
	That's the bottom line.
	When you tolerate a lawless federal government And we have tolerated it since the days of Ronald Reagan.
	Democrats and Republicans.
	Every successive administration has escalated the destruction of due process.
	And now, guess what?
	It's coming back to bite the very people at the top.
	And I am sympathetic to President Trump.
	I don't like to see anybody have their due process taken away.
	I don't like to see an individual family Or a businessman have his property confiscated, not even an allegation that he had anything to do with drug trafficking, but simply because a local law enforcement agency being prodded on by the federal government to do civil asset forfeiture said, hey, we'll share a portion of the loot with you.
	Just take it.
	Just take it.
	That kind of corruption has been coming out of the federal government.
	It is a it's not a swamp.
	It is a cesspool.
	A cesspool of filth, a cesspool of tyranny.
	This has been going on for decades, and that's really what is in view here.
	You can't expect that you're going to get due process, President Trump, if you don't afford it to other people.
	And I say that because we have coming out, it's being widely reported, Wall Street Journal, National Review, even Conservative Press, saying that the FISA Court has found that the FBI is abusing surveillance of Americans and trying to use the FISA process.
	You know, the FISA court was set up in the 1970s to control the abuse of the CIA and the NSA, spying on Americans in the 60s and the 50s, right after they were created.
	That was the central thing that came out of it.
	As I've said many times, everybody focused on the heart attack gun and the assassinations, but the central focus of both the Church Committee hearing in the Senate and the Pike Committee hearing in the House was on surveillance of Americans.
	That's why they created the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act, FISA.
	And yet, what happened?
	You know, just as we created the American government to protect our liberties, the American government has now become destructive of our liberties.
	Just as we created FISA, To protect us against the abuse of intelligence and law enforcement agents who wanted to surveil American citizens without due process.
	It has now become the tool to do that.
	And now even the FISA court is saying it's not just the CIA and the NSA, but it's now also the FBI who is using this process to unconstitutionally surveil Americans.
	And here's the saddest thing about this.
	As President Trump is having his due process taken away, And his lawyer is correctly stating how this is being done.
	By twisting the law.
	By using semantics.
	Oh, it's not an impeachment, it's an impeachment inquiry!
	These same people are doing it, and President Trump's administration is arguing that it's okay for the FBI to surveil people without a search warrant.
	So at the same time he's got his own lawyer saying, don't do that to me, his administration continues to do that to thousands of Americans across the country.
	At the same time!
	You know, President Trump has this legacy of, you know, what's, like I said, with the CPS situation.
	Not giving people due process.
	It's a legacy situation of civil asset forfeiture.
	But he's got people appointed underneath him that want to continue and to increase those processes.
	You know, Jeff Sessions, when he was there, he wanted to do even more civil asset forfeiture.

	Barr is no better.
	No better at all.

	You had the Democrat senators writing a letter demanding that they do this or that, that they investigate President Trump.
	And you had Joe Biden on videotape.

	But we're not allowed to look at any of that if we talk about that.
	We are conspiracy theorists.
	So they're projecting their crimes onto President Trump.
	He's been very transparent.
	He's released Not only the whistleblower complaint, which there was nothing to it, but also the transcript of the phone call.
	And now I think this letter that was put out by his lawyer yesterday, even though it's not widely reported, the contents of it, people will summarize it, it's a long letter, sometimes it'll, you know, embed it in the articles there, but most people are not going to read the letter.
	That's why I'm reading it to you guys, because you need to think about what's involved here.
	This is a very, very subtle Uh, controlling tactic that's been done by the Democrats.
	It is a clever tactic by Nancy Pelosi to call this an impeachment inquiry instead of an official impeachment.
	When I say 90% of government, I mean the three-letter agencies.
	I want to include them, too.
	Yeah.
	Oh, yeah.
	Oh, absolutely.
	Somebody who just sits at their desk all day and just so they can collect their pension at the end is just as guilty as the guy that did the crime.
	Yes, and the reason that we have the kind of situation that we have here, you know, when I'm talking about civil asset forfeiture and so forth, we've had the elected representatives in Congress, instead of passing laws, they create bureaucracies, and then they hand legislative authority over to them.
	They say, you create the rules.
	And then they say, well, if this is a rule created by the bureaucracy, then you don't have any constitutional protection of due process.
	You don't have any presumption of innocence if the IRS does that to you, or if the EPA does it to you, or if the FCC, or some other alphabet agency does this to you.
	You don't have a presumption of innocence, and we can come against you and confiscate your property without convicting you.
	And we are not limited by excessive fines.
	Remember when the FAA said, well we're gonna make sure that everybody's gonna have to register their drones if they're above a I mean, above a toy plane, and it even included some toy planes.
	You're gonna have to register it with us, and if you don't, register it for $25, and if we find that you're flying this thing without being registered, we will fine you $25,000.
	And people pushed back on that, said, are you crazy?
	But technically, we've had all these alphabet agencies be able to do that all along, because they have this fiction that it's not a law, it's a rule, and that's essentially what is happening here with Nancy Pelosi.
	She has been in Congress while all this stuff has been happening, and she's learned the lesson.
	She knows that she can play semantics with this, and she can get around following due process.
	Yeah, in the next election we should all go check the right inbox and write no confidence.
	Yeah, I wish we could.
	I wish we had a none of the above.
	As a matter of fact, that was always on the platform that we had with the Libertarian Party.
	We'd say, there needs to be a none of the above, and if it gets the most votes, then you guys pull up some other candidates and we try it all over again.

	You know, the power of impeachment demands a rigorous level of due process, and here's what due process means, said Jerry Nadler at the time.
	The right to be informed of the law, the right to be informed of the charges against you, the right to confront the witnesses against you, the right to call your own witnesses, and the right to have the assistance of counsel.
	In other words, you know, what we see in the Constitution, Bill of Rights, Sixth Amendment, and so forth.
	Right?
	Except that's not being afforded to Americans on a regular basis, as I point out.
	But he says all these procedures have been abandoned here in this so-called impeachment inquiry.
	Because if it's not a law, if it's a rule by the bureaucracy, you don't get due process.
	And if they call it an impeachment inquiry instead of an impeachment process, then we just skip all those things, right?
	We don't have to have a vote up or down by the House.
	They don't have to take responsibility for this and say, we're going to do an impeachment.
	And so we're just going to play these games.
	He said, these due process rights, continuing on the letter, are not a matter of discretion for the committee to dispense with at will.
	To the contrary, they're constitutional requirements.
	The Supreme Court has recognized that due process protections apply to all congressional investigations.
	Indeed, it has been recognized that the due process clause applies to impeachment proceedings.
	And precedent for the rights to cross-examine witnesses, call witnesses, present evidence dates back nearly 150 years.
	Yet the committees have decided to deny the president these elementary rights and protections that form the basis of the American justice system and are protected by the Constitution.
	No citizen, including the president, should be treated this unfairly.
	And I absolutely agree.
	The president is not below the law.
	The president is not above the law.
	The president should have due process.
	And you know what?
	The Bundys, Schaefer Cox, Ross Ulbrich, John Kiriakou, all these people who have been railroaded by an out-of-control Justice Department that doesn't care one whit about due process, they're not below the law either.
	And we need to have this discussion.
	And I'll defend President Trump's right to due process, and he better defend other people's rights to due process.

	We've been looking at the letter from President Trump that is being portrayed in the media as a lawless, authoritarian, tyrannical reaction, an unhinged reaction from a president, even more evidence that he needs to be impeached.
	And yet the reality of this letter ...is to expose the corrupt process that has been invented by Nancy Pelosi.
	It's every bit as much of an invention as Adam Schiff's statement about what was in the phone call.
	What Nancy Pelosi's been able to do is by using the semantics of an impeachment inquiry to avoid all of the due process rights that should be afforded President Trump.
	And say, well, we're not going to have this as an impeachment.
	It's not a real formal impeachment process.
	It's just I had a press conference.
	I said, I'm going to do an impeachment inquiry by calling it an impeachment inquiry.
	I can make up all the rules.
	And so the president doesn't get any of the standard protections of due process to be able to know what the charges against him are, to be able to call witnesses, to have access to information.
	None of that applies.
	As a matter of fact, It goes on to say in this letter, in addition, the House has not provided the committee's ranking members with authority to issue subpoenas.
	The right of the minority to issue subpoenas, subject to the same rules as the majority, in other words, the right of the Republicans to issue subpoenas, has been denied.
	Only the Democrats can issue subpoenas.
	None of the ranking members of the Republican side can do that.
	This has been the standard bipartisan practice in all recent resolutions authorizing presidential impeachment inquiries, writes the letter.
	The House's failure to provide co-equal subpoena power in this case ensures that any inquiry will be nothing more than a one-sided effort by House Democrats to gather information favorable to their views and to selectively release it as only they determine.
	So you're not going to be able to even see what was completely said there.
	They're going to give you an edited, redacted version.
	Only they can investigate.
	Only they can subpoena.
	The Republicans will not be allowed to do that.
	The President will not be allowed to do that.
	The President will not be allowed to see the full information, full testimony of people.
	See, this is the way Nancy Pelosi and the Democrats are running this in their so-called inquiry.
	And this is the same type of tactic as I've said before.
	That Nancy Pelosi knows the alphabet agencies in Washington have been doing for a long time.
	Using the semantics of saying, well you violated a rule of the IRS, or you violated a rule of the EPA, or of the FDA.
	I mean, I've talked about how the FDA just said, well, we're going to give ourselves power.
	Forget about the fact that the FDA has no constitutional authority to even exist.
	There is no authority given to the federal government to monitor food or drugs.
	That is the power of the state and local government to do that.
	And the state and local government are more than capable of doing that.
	I mean, we look at the Kinds of rules that are there for restaurants and so forth.
	You have health inspectors at the local level, at the state level, and so they're capable of doing that.
	We don't need the federal government to get involved in that.
	Why is the federal government involved?
	Well, the federal government is involved so that they can help big players to shut down others.
	That's why the pharmaceutical industry, who doesn't want your own stem cells to be used, that's why they go to the FDA and the FDA says, well, you're not going to be able to take stem cells out of your fat and be able to use those to treat diseases.
	It's very, very effective at treating.
	It doesn't just cover it up like the pharmaceutical drugs do.
	It doesn't have any dangerous side effects like the pharmaceutical drugs do.
	It doesn't bankrupt you like the pharmaceutical drugs do, but you're not going to be allowed to have that.
	We're going to just ban it from the FDA.
	Where's the due process involved in that?
	Where's the constitutional authority for that?
	It doesn't exist.
	So when we play these games, and Nancy Pelosi knows that this type of game is standard operating procedure in Washington, she can play semantics And she can assume that she's got authority that she doesn't have, just like the FDA does.
	They can just arbitrarily go in and regulate.
	They've never regulated, for example, hair transplants like Joe Biden has done.
	That's taking part of your body and putting it into another part of your body.
	They've never regulated in vitro fertilization, and they shouldn't.
	But then they say, well, if you take your own fat cells out, you put them in a centrifuge, and you get stem cells out of that, you re-inject those stem cells to help your body heal itself, no, you're not going to be allowed to do that.
	No.
	No, not until we find a way to patent aborted babies' stem cells.
	Then we will allow it.
	Then we will allow it for our big pharmaceutical clients.
	Yeah, this is the way that Washington is operating, and I welcome this fight.
	I welcome this fight, not just because I like to see the President pushing back against this injustice, but because we need to have this kind of discussion.
	It needs to be pushed up to the President.
	It's been happening to little guys for quite some time, President Trump.
	Now you see what it feels like, and I hope you push back, not only for yourself, but for us as well, at the same time.

	When we look at this type of thing, it's always a long-term running plan, and they always create some kind of a crisis to usher this stuff in.
	When we look at the UN Arms Trade Treaty that was trying to enact gun control,
	Against the United States right that was part of the gun Walker program that was not just fast and furious You know before the fast and furious blew up in the face of Obama you had the George W Bush administration shipping in a false flag operation shipping weapons across to and across the border into Mexico and Then hoping that they could use that as a crisis to say well We got to stop the flow of small arms going across the border which is what the UN wanted and
	And in order to do that, we're going to have to have universal background checks and registration of every gun in the United States.
	See, that was the ultimate goal.
	And so when you look at all these different things, and when I look at what's happening with the collapse at the border, I know that what has happened is, as we talk about this, we see the massive caravans coming in, grouped together.
	It is a press event.
	They're able to do that, do that in our faces, and get away with it repeatedly.
	And so now we've got a lot of people who should know better in this country saying, well, since we can't control the border, we're going to have to control how jobs are allocated.
	So we need to have E-Verify.
	We need to have a universal identification number.
	And everybody's got to have permission of Washington in order to get a job.
	See, we have the war on the border.
	That's going to be used to acclimate the public to accept these authoritarian situations.
	And so, yeah, I would not be surprised at all if there was some kind of principles that you're talking about, because it usually goes back to a UN agenda at some point in time.

	I just wanted to, just like you were talking about fluoride a minute ago, I've noticed just generally and with some of my family members, in-laws, that if they are into, say, forced vaccinations or pro-fluoride or forced buying health care, you know, from the government, That they'll never wake up and they'll never understand basic liberties and basic freedoms.
	Yeah, we've basically, we've lost that as an orientation here in America, right?
	You hear most of our politicians talk about, oh, we love democracy.
	It's like, no, we love freedom.
	Democracy is simply, and it's not even what this government was set up for.
	We were set up as a republic, right?
	And so we want a rule of law.
	We have our liberties.
	The Bill of Rights is preeminent, and that's what this country was founded on.
	We said we're going to create government in order to protect our God-given liberties.
	We're not going to have this set up there as privileges that can be taken away by the majority of people.
	Yep, exactly.
	And you know, just like, you know, the vaccines or the fluoride or the health care, it's all a tipping point for people.
	And I noticed once you Yes.
	you can get people to understand basic things like that, like not injecting poison into your children and being forced to do it, that they'll open their eyes to other things.
	But if they're closed-minded to that, then there's really no point of even talking to And I think, Stephen, yeah, that's an end with people as well.
	Because, you know, people have made this trade-off of liberty.
	They put liberty on the back burner because they're concerned about safety and comfort, right?
	And so we have national security is important, but liberty is not.
	So whenever the two come up, you know, no, we're going to go with national security.
	And we're going to go with your own personal safety.
	And as I've said many times, you know, slaves never safe. Slaves don't have any protections at all and to the extent that you give up your liberty to that extent you become a slave. But if we come at it from the standpoint of health with people and if we put this out there and say look these same people who have taken your liberties and promise that they're going to keep you safe and secure, they're also taking away your liberties when it comes to health.
	And so they really don't have your best interest at heart.
	They really aren't going to keep you safe.
	They really aren't going to keep you secure.
	Are you interested in talking about liberty now?
	You know, I think that's one of the ways that we need to sell this for people.
	We need to kind of meet them where they are.
	They just want to be comfortable.
	They want to be safe.
	They want to have a long and healthy life.
	And it's like, okay, well then let's talk about how liberty is going to get you there.
	And these mandate programs are not.
	No, exactly.

	You know, when we look at the headlines on most of the press, it's very, you know, even press that is sympathetic to President Trump, like Breitbart, for example, you've got to be careful about the headlines, the way you put this stuff out.
	White House denies impeachment process and letter.
	No, the White House has not denied the impeachment process.
	What it's saying is you're not following an impeachment process.
	You're calling this an inquiry.
	And by calling it an inquiry, Nancy Pelosi, by playing that semantics game, put herself in a position where she can set up the rules.
	And guess what?
	The rules don't contain any due process protections for the president.
	And again, I hope that President Trump will learn from this, that we need to stop playing the semantic games that are used to attack Americans by these alphabet agencies.
	Nancy Pelosi knows this very well.
	She's been in Washington a long time.
	She's been a part of using these alphabet agencies to come after us.
	Saying that it's a rule and not a law, so therefore you don't get any due process.
	There's no presumption of innocence.
	There's no protection against excessive fines.
	They don't even have to charge you.
	They can just take your stuff.
	It's called civil asset forfeiture.
	It's called taking your kids with CPS.
	This needs to be stopped.
	America needs to get back to due process for all Americans.
	And unfortunately, this letter seems to imply that, well, everybody else has this except the President.
	No, it's just the opposite.
	It's just the opposite.
	We don't have due process either and we don't have any visibility and of course right now President Trump is kind of feeling that as well because he and the Republicans have sat there as independent alternative press has been relegated to the back room.
	By Google, by social media, so that the mainstream media can have preeminent representation here.
	New York Times said, free speech is killing us.
	We've got to stop free speech, says New York Times.
	Same thing that we heard from CNN.
	They cannot compete.
	In the free marketplace of ideas, because they're lying to people.
	And you know that they're lying!
	Look, people in the Soviet Union, where you had two press organizations, both tightly controlled by the government, Izvestia and Pravda.
	Izvestia meant news, Pravda meant truth.
	And the people in the Soviet Union said, there is no news in Izvestia, and there is no truth in Pravda.
	They were not fooled by that.
	Americans aren't really fooled by this.
	Now, you can move public opinion, and you only have to move a certain amount of public opinion, but they were losing big time.
	That's why President Trump got elected.
	If President Trump thinks he can swing this by having Fox News and Twitter, it's not going to work, President Trump.
	You're going to have to support free speech, and you're going to have to support due process for Americans.
	It's important to have a good economy, and it's important for people to see that you're serious about stopping the endless foreign wars.
	Yeah, there's other things involved in Syria, and they're going to try to hang that on President Trump as well, but it's important for him to make those connections with the people.
	But it's still going to be very hard for him to get back to these other things if he doesn't support these fundamental due process rights for everybody else.
	So, as Nancy Pelosi plays this semantic game, calls it, this is not an impeachment process.
	You know, when Breitbart says White House denies impeachment process, no, they're denying that what is happening is an impeachment process.
	That's a big difference.
	This is not an impeachment process.
	They go through in detail in this letter, quoting Jerry Nadler, saying, well, you know, we ought to be very rigorous about due process when it comes to impeachment.
	And here's what it looks like.
	And they point out that she just convened a press conference and said, this is an impeachment.
	But they never had a vote.
	They wouldn't take responsibility for it.
	She says, well, it's an impeachment inquiry.
	Well, there's no basis for that inquiry, they go on to say in the letter.
	We haven't gotten to that yet.
	But what does it look like?
	When Nancy Pelosi is making up the rules, well, number one, there's no due process for the other side.
	Number two, as I point out, there is absolutely no subpoena or discovery for ranking Republicans in these committees.
	And then when we come back, we're going to take some of your calls.
	We're also going to talk about the next aspect of Nancy's rules.
	You won't believe, this is not, I haven't seen anybody talking about this next aspect of this, even though it's in the letter.

	We're taking a look at President Trump's letter.
	Actually, it's his lawyer, Cipollone's letter to Nancy Pelosi, laying out what's going on.
	And again, we see this being misrepresented everywhere.
	I mean, I look at the headlines on Drudge Report.
	President Trump says, shove it.
	No, I think what he's saying in this letter is, prove it.
	Prove it.
	You got anything there?
	Come on.
	Nancy Pelosi gets to make the rules?
	So it says, shove it, illegitimate?
	No.
	These rules that have been made up by Nancy Pelosi are illegitimate.
	That's what this letter says.
	And the White House is not denying the impeachment process, as Breitbart says.
	The White House is denying that there is an impeachment process.
	It's saying play by the rules that we've always had for impeachment process.
	That means that there's due process.
	As part of the impeachment process.
	That means that you formally, you have a vote and you say, this is an impeachment and we're going to have this as a trial and so forth.
	And so you get the ability to see evidence against you.
	You get the ability to question your accusers.
	Oh, they're being held back, right?
	None of this exists.
	And as they went on to talk about this, it even extends to the point That the Republicans don't get to ask any questions.
	They don't get to subpoena any witnesses.
	They don't get to do any discovery.
	The Democrats will do all that for them.
	Right?
	So, you know, as I pointed out in the letter, the House's utter disregard for the established procedural safeguards followed in the past impeachment inquiry shows the current proceedings are nothing more than an unconstitutional exercise in political theater because the House has failed to provide co-equal subpoena power for Republicans.
	It ensures that any inquiry will be nothing more than a one-sided effort.
	It also ensures that you're not going to get any information from these people.
	So they get to ask all the questions, they get to control all the content, release selectively what they want you to see.
	Even when the president takes an unprecedented step of releasing a transcript of the phone call and the whistleblower complaint, that's not enough for them.
	And then they have this another, this is the next one of Nancy Pelosi's rules out of the letter.
	As if denying the president basic procedural protections were not enough.
	The committees have also resorted to threats and intimidation against potential executive branch witnesses.
	Threats by the committee against executive branch witnesses who assert common, long-standing rights, destroy the integrity of the process, and brazenly violate fundamental due process.
	In letters to State Department employees, the committees have ominously threatened, without any legal basis, before the committees even issued a subpoena, that any failure to appear in response to a mere letter request for a deposition, quote, shall constitute evidence of obstruction, unquote.
	Worse, the committees have broadly threatened that if state department officials attempt to insist upon the right for the department to have an agency lawyer present at depositions to protect legitimate executive branch confidentiality threats, interests, I should say, or apparently if they make any effort to protect those confidentiality interests at all, these officials will have their salaries withheld.
	Do you hear that?
	They're saying, you're not going to have a lawyer there with you.
	And you're going to have to show up before they issued any of these requests.
	They said if you deny any of our requests, then we will take that as obstruction.
	And if you show up with a lawyer, you're going to have your salary withheld.
	These are Nancy's rules.
	These are not the rules of the Constitution.
	And so it's not President Trump who is saying shove it.
	He's saying prove it.
	He's saying that this is illegitimate.
	But that's not the headlines you're going to see.
	You're going to see that Trump is saying, shove it, Trump is out of control.
	Trump is crazy.
	That is not the case in this particular case.
	And so, yeah, they do need to play by the rules and President Trump's administration needs to as well.
	But let's go to your comments here.

	I've talked for the longest time about civil asset forfeiture, but when we look at having our kids taken without any due process, as I said earlier in the show, everything that President Trump is complaining about with due process, that has been done to take children away from families.
	Not because of even any allegations of physical or sexual abuse, but because of disgruntled in-laws, or alienated spouses, or a school system that doesn't like the fact that you're homeschooling, or a doctor that doesn't like the fact that you didn't get your vaccines on demand.
	It's absolutely amazing what has been done.
	Now President Trump has, there is a bill that's gone through, we'll have to see if that's going to really make any difference or not.
	But we need to have far more sweeping reform.
	Of this abusive system that has been allowed to be in place for decades now.
	And David, you're spot on when you say that this, because this is the only way it was addressed, is at the local level.
	They had local support.
	They had local towns.
	I can't remember council members, but they had a lot of local support and that was the reason that everything ended up in their favor.
	They got the kids back and all that.
	Yeah, it is a tragedy.
	I mean, over and over again, we've seen kids taken away.
	The parents, I've interviewed so many parents, they can't even find out what the charges against them are.
	At least President Trump knows what the charges against him are, for the most part.
	Parents who have their kids taken away, they can't find out what it is.
	And they run the clock out on these people under the legislation that Hillary Clinton put in.
	If they can run the clock out on you for 15 months, that's it.
	They take the kids, they're gone.

	They're operating under the assumption that everybody else has got due process except for President Trump.

	I keep telling parents, don't send your kids to the schools.
	Take control of your kids' education.
	But most people don't even want to take control of their kids' education.

	We had a pediatrician who demanded that we get fluoride pills for our children because we were on well water or whatever.

	I grew up in a house where she worked at dental office.

	It took me the last five years to talk some sense into her and to get her to do the research on her own.

	You do get good people, but they don't have the funding and the money to put themselves out there and be advertised like these big names, right?
	So we're stuck dealing with the same old, same old.
	Okay, Wisconsin was upset with our Republican governor.
	Who did we do?

	Now what are they doing?

	What a bunch of low-life criminals to want such a thing as that, right?
	And the Chinese government took exception to that, so Daryl Morey took it down right away.
	But nevertheless, that and an apology was not enough.
	And so China is now taking action against the NBA.
	And you've got a lot of cowardly people there at the NBA, but not just the NBA.
	Let's understand that China is making demands on people.
	Some of the worst people have been the people out of Hollywood.
	But they have made demands against all these major brands.
	And, of course, all these major brands keep saying, well, you know, whatever you want.
	You've got Tiffany removing an advertisement?
	Over the Hong Kong controversy, Apple said, we will take out the Taiwan flag emoji.
	You know, when you go in there with emojis, you've got flags of every country.
	Well, Taiwan is not a country, says President Xi.
	So Apple says, that's fine.
	We will kowtow to you.
	We will remove that emoji.
	Anything else you don't like, just tell us.
	We'll do whatever you want.
	You've got the Chinese government saying journalists are going to have to prove their loyalty to us.
	Citizens are going to have to scan their faces in order to use the internet.
	And we look at this and we say, wow, what a horrible place China is.
	Are we any better?
	When we have JFK being the first airport to roll out facial recognition as permission to fly.
	Think about that.
	How is that really that different than having to show your face to the government in order to use the internet?
	You've got to show your face to our government in order to travel.
	Sounds kind of like the social credit system that's already been in place in China, doesn't it?
	What a coincidence, isn't it?
	And when we look at this, it's very easy to give ourselves a pass and talk about American exceptionalism.
	And talk about the fact that since we like President Trump better than the Democrats, that it's okay for President Trump to hold back his criticism of China and Hong Kong.
	It's okay after that silence to congratulate President Xi on 70 years of tyranny.
	It's not okay.
	And it's not okay when we start instituting facial scans as a prerequisite to travel.
	We're going right down the same path as these other people.
	And even if you think that this is a good strategy, look, President Trump should have criticized what Xi was doing in Hong Kong.
	He should have done it, number one, because it's the right thing to do.
	And number two, I think it would have been a more effective strategy to expose President Xi as a tyrant.
	If you're in a trade negotiation with somebody else, don't you want people to understand what an authoritarian, corrupt criminal your opponent is?
	It was a big missed opportunity, I think.
	And instead of congratulating him, I think if I was president, I would have kind of given a backhanded congratulation to the people of China for their fertility, being able to grow their population in the face of a communist government that killed tens of millions of them.
	That's what I would have congratulated China on.

	And I think President Trump is poorly advised, if he thinks that he's going to be able to weather this storm, weather this storm, by just depending on his Twitter account and friendly Fox News reports.
	Because Fox News is quite frankly turned on President Trump.
	When we look at this letter, as we've been looking at this letter, just to sum up the very first section of this.
	We'll talk about how this is not really an impeachment.
	This is a semantic game that's being played by Nancy Pelosi.
	Calling it an impeachment inquiry means that they don't have to have a vote.
	They don't have to take any responsibility for this, and they don't have to give President Trump due process.
	Nancy Pelosi gets to make the rules by calling it an inquiry.
	And what do those rules look like?
	Well, that means absolutely no due process or transparency for the President.
	There's not going to be any subpoena power for any ranking GOP member.
	It's only going to be the Democrats who are asking all the questions.
	They will be able to see the information.
	President Trump will not be able to meet or respond to his accusers.
	Nobody with the president or no GOP members will be able to get any information, any clarification about anything.
	The Democrats can do whatever they want.
	It's very one-sided.
	Even to the extent...
	That if they issue a subpoena to somebody in the Trump administration, they will have to show up or it will be called obstruction.
	And if they do show up and they bring a lawyer, don't do that.
	Because then they will dock your salary.
	I mean, these are Nancy's rules.
	And when I look at headlines that say President Trump is, uh, says shove it, is President Trump now illegitimate because he refuses to bow to the rules that are being made up by Nancy Pelosi?
	What an absurd situation that is.
	Going on through the rest of the document, I don't have time to read it, said I was going to read the whole thing today, but it's quite a lengthy document.
	They talk about how there's no legitimate basis for this impeachment inquiry.
	And of course there isn't.
	They talk about how this was put together.
	The whistleblower who didn't witness anything put this together with Adam Schiff.
	And then without even waiting to see what was actually said on the phone call, they put together, based on falsehoods, based on misinformation, based on hearsay evidence, they put together a complaint.
	All of that has now been, in the interest of transparency, released by President Trump.
	And then finally they go on to say this letter is in no way, the letter that comes from Nancy Pelosi and the other committees, is in no way directed at collecting information in aid of legislation.
	So we don't have to respond to that.
	We don't have to respond to that.
	That's basically the separation of powers.
	I would like to see President Trump have one fight at a time, I understand.
	But this is really what he needs to be doing to the Supreme Court.
	Somebody needs to do this.
	And of course it can be done by state governments, state legislatures as well, when the Supreme Court goes over the boundary of its authority.
	Clearly Nancy Pelosi has gone over the boundaries of her authority.
	She is playing semantic games by calling this an inquiry.
	And as they point out, this conflicts with all historical precedent.
	It rides roughshod over due process and over the separation of powers.
	All right, let's go to the people who are waiting patiently on the phone.
	Let's go to, let's see, who do we still have here?

	But I just want to get to my point here that first, the picture you have up of the Statue of Liberty with like the surveillance cameras instead of the torch, super powerful.

	But now to my call-in point.
	This whole thing that has been set up to protect our liberties is now turned on us.
	That really is encapsulated in that image, isn't it?

	Will you call dictionary.com or Webster's Dictionary and please insert the fact that Democrats in this country have taken a preposition, the word of, OF, and weaponized it In a racist term.
	So, like, I'm driving around St.
	Paul and I see a bus that says, uh, children of color in Minnesota are the worst off in the country.
	Or, women of color in business.
	I'm a person of color.
	Well, they've taken a noun, person, and color is a noun.
	The only difference is they've ruined the word of.
	Right? Yeah. Because there's no, you go to look at the dictionary, there's nothing that says of is used in a racist term of kindness where we subvert the language and go, well, wait a minute. There's a black woman. There's a woman from India. There's a Chinese woman.
	Well, do you remember when they came after Clive and Bundy?
	You know, Cliven is an old guy.
	He lives out in the country and everything.
	And he was making a point about slavery and conditioning and how black people are being mistreated.
	But he used the term colored people.
	And they were all over him.
	And it's like, well, wait a minute.
	You know, the NAACP still hasn't changed their name.
	They haven't become the National Association for the Advancement of People of Color.
	So it's just semantics, but that's exactly what Nancy Pelosi is doing with the inquiry.
	Semantics, again.
	Yeah, inquiry.
	Inquiry, yeah.
	I'll never get that right.
	It's ingrained.
	Just think of wire.
	Wire in the middle of it.
	There we go.
	So how did they do this?
	How do they say that white is not a color, is my question.
	Because that's the whole definition of the term.
	That's what they're trying to get to.
	Everything else is a color except for white.
	So is white a color or not, David?
	Do your investigation, call Webster's, and tell them to make of, instead of a preposition, make it a racist word.
	Like, it now signifies racial terms.

	to use semantics to define things. It's just like what we just saw with criminalizing the term illegal alien in New York City. 	So I think this whole impeachment proceeding is just a distraction to distract the American people from the fact that Mr. Trump is not doing anything to address the existential problems, as you have pointed out, of our country.
