	It's the David Knight Show.
	My name is David Knight.
	I'm a professor at the University of Michigan.
	Welcome on this Wednesday July 31st 2009 I'm David Knight, your host.
	We're going to take a look at the debate post-mortem, and as I would say, this is really what we saw last night, was the night of the living dead candidates.
	You've got the left, and I'm not talking about Bernie Sanders or Elizabeth Warren.
	Yeah, she was warring last night.
	I'm not talking about them.
	No, they are the radical communists.
	No, what we have here is the radical left who want to mandate, prohibit, or subsidize everything.
	These leftist statists that we have typically called Democrats.
	And then, they were debating last night, the radical Marxists, Sanders and Warren, who basically were doing their impression of Marx and Lenin last night.
	So it's kind of interesting.
	And then we have, thrown into the midst of all of this, we have Mary Ann Poppins, with all of her mysticism.
	So we're going to have a little bit of fun with Mary Ann's stuff here.
	Donald Trump Jr.
	said that he absolutely thought she won.
	And of course, after the first debate, we had Republican analysts, especially the The guy who is the campaign chief has had some kind of official capacity for Ted Cruz.
	Said, hey, I want all you Republicans out there, donate money to Marianne, make sure she makes it into the second debate.
	Well, she did make it into the second debate.
	We want her to go all the way.
	I told you from the very beginning, I gave a dollar to the former senator from Alaska, Mike Gravel, because he would have been good on stage, too.
	He would have had some fireworks, even in the first debate, because he'd already called out these guys on their hypocrisy and their preening and their virtue signaling.
	He'd called them out on Twitter many, many times.
	But with Marianne, we've got actually, she gave us a formula, a formula for how we do reparations.
	And it's a pretty interesting formula.
	So we're going to tell you what that formula is.
	We're going to tell you what that works out to in today's currency.
	Because it started with acres and mules and racism.
	And so we're going to pull that together into a formula.
	And we'll have the back and forth.
	I think one of the most interesting things is that Bablin B got it right as usual.
	Snopes issues a pre-approval of all statements made during tonight's Democratic debate.
	Just forget about all the fact-checking.
	And of course they took on Snopes because Snopes has repeatedly fact-checked the Bablin B for different headlines.
	This is how crazy it has gotten.
	But I'll tell you that as bad as the field of candidates are on the Democrat side, And it's not just the people.
	This is not as some of the people in the corporate left press want to put it.
	They said, well, you have these Democrats, Hickenlooper, Delaney, and others who were desperate to try to get some attention.
	So they tried to pick a fight with the two candidates who are tied for second place, Warren and Sanders, behind Biden.
	They needed to get some attention, so they came after.
	No, this is what everybody's saying.
	Rahm Emanuel, as I pointed out yesterday, said, if you win this by going through these politics, you're going to take down the entire Democrat Party.
	And you're going to be reviled by all of us.
	It's not just the people who are running who see how bad this is.
	But if you look at what's going on in California, as President Trump pointed out yesterday, they're not just trying to subvert the Electoral College.
	They're not just coming up with a pact to go around the Electoral College.
	Now you've got California saying we're not even going to allow President Trump on the ballot.
	Kind of purge him from the ballot, just like they purge the media that supports him from social media.

	I'm David Knight, your host.
	We're going to take a look at the Night of the Living Dead candidates.
	Yes, these people don't have a chance, as you saw last night, if you watched any of this stuff.
	But the way that they're trying to set this up to win, you know, one of the soundbites from last night was Booty Gay said, ask yourself how someone like Trump gets within cheating distance.
	I was live tweeting some of this and I said, well, then he goes on to talk about poor economic growth and abortion.
	Well, there's your answer right there.
	There's your answer.
	The failed policies of the Democrats, and those are the failed policies of the people that we're told are the moderates, the moderates.
	No, there are no moderates in the Democrat Party.
	There are statists.
	Who follow the old policies of the Democrats, which is tax and regulate and mandate and prohibit.
	Anything that they like, they will subsidize.
	If they don't like it, they will prohibit it.
	Those statists are not in the majority right now.
	What we have in the majority are radical Marxists who want to rework the entire economy.
	That's what the debate was last night.
	That's how pathetic things have gotten now.
	But you want to talk about getting within cheating distance.
	Remember, we have the National Popular Vote Movement.
	That is a vote to subvert the constitutional requirement of an electoral college.
	The electoral college is there, as I've pointed out many times on this program, to make sure that we don't have one or two large cities that are invariably some of the most corrupt areas in the United States, where the ballots are easily stuffed.
	Corruption in Chicago, corruption in New York, and so forth.
	And we don't want just a couple of large cities, New York, Chicago, and LA, to determine the election.
	That's why we have an electoral college.
	It is also a representation of the original vision for this country, that power would be divided, because we did not want to have a pyramid structure of power, with one organization or one branch of the government at the very top.
	But that's exactly what we have.
	We all know that the federal government is the ruler of everything.
	And the branch that rules the federal government is the judiciary.
	So that's your pyramid structure.
	That is not the design of the Constitution, however.
	That was precisely what the founders were trying to keep from happening.
	that one branch of government, whether it was the presidency or the Congress, they thought it would be one of those two. They didn't think it would be the judiciary, but the judiciary usurped the power and everybody else stood down.
	Not only did the people in the federal government, the other two branches who are co-equal, the executive and the legislative branches, stand down to the judiciary, but you've now had the people and the legislatures at the state level.
	All the governors have stood down to the federal government.
	That's why people on both the left and the right, if they see a problem anywhere, they go begging to Washington to fix it.
	And that's why everything has gotten so bitter.
	Because we all have to make sure that everybody sees things the way that we see it.
	If we had 50 different Places where you could go to live.
	You could have states that were libertarian and you could have states that were authoritarian.
	And people could make their choices.
	But no, instead we have a one-size-fits-all.
	And so everybody fights about how that's going to be done at the federal government.
	And they think that the president is going to be the one who's going to change everything.
	No, actually it's the judiciary.
	But when we look at what's going on, getting back again to the original design, The Electoral College was set there.
	It had elements of the distribution of power between the states and the federal government, because you round it off and it's winner-take-all, state-by-state level.
	But then it also had an element of representation in determining who was going to win it.
	And also in terms of getting the number of electors out of each of these states, it was roughly corresponding to the number of congressmen.
	Now they are rigging the census to make sure they rig that.
	They also have the national popular vote, and then it got worse yesterday.
	California should be embarrassed, said President Trump, as they are going to ban him from the ballot unless he gives up his tax returns for decades.
	This is going to be very interesting.
	This is going to be a big legal fight.
	It's going to be these types of things, folks.
	It's not going to be their candidates who win it for them.
	If they win this election, it's going to be because they're playing this type of game.
	Now think about how this plays into this national popular vote meme.
	If you can take some of the... President Trump is not going to win California.
	But, if they have the national popular vote running through and all these Democrat states sign on to it, the whole idea behind that is that President Trump could win some of these swing states, and if they are on the national popular vote movement, Even if President Trump wins in a state, let's say like New Mexico for example.
	New Mexico voted to make sure that, you know, if LA, New York and Chicago go for a particular candidate, then it doesn't matter if New Mexico goes for the other candidate.
	They will throw out the majority of votes in a state and go with whoever got the most popular votes.
	Now think about how that plays into all this if you've got states like California keeping President Trump off the ballot.
	How does he win the popular vote?
	Well, he doesn't.
	They make sure he doesn't.
	So they make sure that if President Trump doesn't win the popular vote in California, he doesn't win the popular vote, period.
	He's not even going to be able to get votes in California.
	Which then triggers the national popular vote thing across all these different states.
	And they then do a backdoor rig of the Electoral College.
	How nice and neat that is.
	But that's going to be a fight and of course it's going to go to the courts because the court is the ultimate arbiter of everything.
	Everything now goes before the courts.
	We don't have a Constitution.
	It's as if we have a living document that exists in the mind of Darth Vader Ginsburg and a few other people wearing black dresses.
	That's really what we have here.
	That is the sad state of affairs.
	But let's take a look at what really happened last night in the debate.
	Starting with Snopes, just prior to the debate.
	You had Babylon Bee saying Snopes issues a pre-approval of all statements made during tonight's Democratic debate.
	A satire piece, of course.
	And they came after Snopes because Snopes continually debunks the articles that are on Babylon Bee.
	For example, take the example, it was either BuzzFeed or the Daily Beast, but one of them tried to get me thrown off of Twitter.
	Why?
	Because I jokingly referred to a Babylon Bee satire article.
	It was at the time that Pocahontas, Elizabeth Warren, was being exposed as a fraud because she was like one ten thousandth of a Cherokee or something.
	And so they put up a headline that said, Hillary Clinton denies that she's 100% reptilian DNA.
	That was hilarious.
	And I talked about that.
	And so it was either BuzzFeed or the Daily Beast came after me for talking about that.
	Said, look at this, he's calling Hillary Clinton a reptilian.
	You got to take him off of social media.
	Well, Snopes has been doing that for quite some time and actually had National Review call Snopes on calling Bablin B out for satire.
	As they pointed out, the Babylon Bee has at the top of their site there, they say, the banner is fake news that you can trust, whereas The Onion calls itself America's finest news source.
	And here's some of the stuff that Snopes has fact-checked in the past.
	They have fact-checked Babylon Bee on whether or not Democrats demanded that Brett Kavanaugh submit to a DNA test to prove that he's not actually Hitler.
	Snopes fact-checked the Babylon Bee as to whether or not Alexandria Occasional Cortex repeatedly guessed free on the TV show The Price is Right.
	Snopes fact-checked Babylon Bee over whether or not Ilhan Omar actually asked if Israel is so innocent, then why do they insist on being Jews?
	And then the final one, they did a fact-check on the Bee's report that VeggieTales had introduced a new character called Cannabis Carl.
	So in light of all that, the Babylon Bee says Snopes has fact-checked And given a pre-approval to the Democrats on everything they say, because Snopes is not a fact-checking site, as we all know.
	Whatever the Democrats say tonight is right, and they show the picture there.
	And we're going to talk about what they actually said when we come back.
	As a matter of fact, we'll start with Elizabeth Warren saying she saw babies in cages.
	I saw cages of babies!
	Cages of babies, right there.

	I tell you, when I watched her last night, and I tweeted this out.
	It's that I've never seen anybody more angry, humorless, and tiresome than Elizabeth Warren.
	A schoolmarm!
	I fully expected to see her shake her finger at me in the thing.
	Put all four of those legs down on the floor of that chair, young man.
	You're rocking back there.
	You know, that's exactly the kind of demeanor of this woman.
	And I mean, emphasis on the mean.
	D-meaner!
	And Bernie is just confused and Marxist and he's the old man from the Muppets up in the balcony.
	I mean, it's absolutely, it would be funny if these people weren't so dangerous.
	Dangerous.
	And so many people following them.
	And we're going to have a moment here.
	There was a hands up, don't shoot moment going back and forth between Bernie and Hickenlooper.
	You know, waving and raising the hands.
	Actually, they put it up on CNN as a little gif.
	It's pretty funny.
	But there really weren't too many facts to check.
	Yeah, they were waving their hands at each other.
	Yeah, I can put my hands up and wave them in the air, too.
	Yeah, Hickenlooper had some good moments.
	But look, let's understand that he and Delaney are statists.
	Delaney, later in the debate, had said, well, you know, we need to bring PPP back or whatever.
	Sorry, never went away.
	USMCA is just a reworked version of TPP, and the real issue is sovereignty, but of course they don't want us to have sovereignty.
	And, of course, Delaney and Buttigieg, as I pointed out last night before the debate, both of them, you know, just this last weekend you had Delaney putting out his program of national compulsory service.
	I talked about that at length yesterday.
	Everybody's going to do at least one year of time serving the government.
	Compulsory service.
	You can be in their environmental corps.
	You know, you can be, I guess, a climate ranger, whatever he calls it.
	Or you can get into the military, or they got a bunch of other Peace Corps-like things that you can do.
	You know, you can go out and dig ditches like it's 1935 again.
	So these are the Democrats, just recycled statism, except for the radical Marxists that are out there.
	And again, Rahm Emanuel and others are very concerned at the fact that not only are they going to lose to President Trump, but the fact that they're going to take down the rest of the Democrat Party with them.
	And we'll give you some examples of that as well.
	So there's not too many facts to check.
	You know, the cages of babies that Elizabeth Warren saw at the border, she said.
	Cages of babies.
	I've seen mamas and cages of babies.
	Get that chair down on the floor!
	What a radical, angry liar.
	One person came back and responded to that tweet and said, yeah, she is like fingernails on the chalkboard.
	That's exactly what she's like.
	And it is like sitting in a bad, authoritarian teacher's classroom to listen to her.
	Elizabeth Warren said Trump's taking children away from the parents.
	Really?
	Do we even know, Pocahontas, do we even know that these children belong to these people?
	See, a very large percentage of them, and we'll talk about this later, a very large percentage of them are not the parents.
	Some of them are traffickers.
	That, under the best of circumstances, the parents turned over to traffickers.
	Oh, those wonderful parents.
	Those wonderful parents.
	Here, here.
	Here's a bunch of money and here's my kid.
	I can trust you to do the right thing, right?
	You try that as an American citizen.
	You try driving down the road without your kid in the backseat strapped into a child seat.
	I mean, I grew up my whole life.
	No seatbelts.
	Metal dashboards.
	Had to walk to school in the snow.
	No, I didn't do that.
	I was in Florida.
	But, we didn't have any seatbelts.
	Didn't need no stinkin' seatbelts.
	But you'll get your kids taken away if you have an accident.
	They're not in a seatbelt.
	You might get them taken away if a cop just sees you doing that.
	But these people who recklessly endanger their kids, taking them across this border, some of them have killed their kids and themselves doing that.
	It's a very dangerous crossing.
	Bernie Sanders said, Somebody who's coming across the border, you know, if it's dangerous, it's not a crime.
	Those who walk the dangerous path are not criminals.
	Well, that is not the, you know, you could say that, but that doesn't apply anywhere here in America.
	I mean, you know, armed robbery is dangerous, but it's still a crime, Bernie.
	And these people are coming here because you have invited them to participate in an unarmed robbery of the American people.
	It's either Delaney or Hickenlooper.
	One of them said, look, oh, I know it was the Montana governor, Bullock.
	He said, we've got hundreds of thousands of people at the border coming in.
	You're talking about giving all of them health care?
	You're going to see multiples of that number of people coming across the border.
	Yeah, when the Democrats talk about universal health care, They're talking about providing it for everyone in the universe.
	Literally.
	Universal.
	Anybody in the world who wants to come here, they don't even have to ring the doorbell.
	That was a good soundbite from Ryan.
	They don't even have to ring the doorbell, right?
	Just walk into the house and sit down on the couch and demand that you bring them chips and beer.
	That's really what we've got going on here.
	And Bernie and Elizabeth Have put this big come and take it sign out there, and it's not about a cannon.
	It's about all the free stuff that they want to give to everybody.
	Now, we don't even know, again, if these kids are parents, but they don't care at all, as I've said over and over again.
	I wish President Trump or somebody would talk about this, but you know, it's funny.
	Nobody in the Republican Party ever pays any attention to what's going on with CPS.
	Of course, nobody in the Democrats do either.
	The Democrats are Are weeping and wailing about all the kids being separated from their parents, but they don't care about American families.
	Typically poor, typically people, as they like to say, of color, who are having their kids ripped.
	That's typically the profile of what's happening.
	The people that I've talked to have come on and said, yeah, the ones who are being victimized And the people who have set up the organizations trying to help people have been victimized.
	They're typically poor, they're typically black in the inner city.
	Stealing their kids from them because they can get massive amounts of money from the federal government.
	The federal government is incentivizing this!
	Just as they do anything, they don't prohibit.
	And not giving anybody due process.
	Look, there are situations where children need to be taken away from home.
	Parents are drug addicts, they're violent or abusive.
	That's a very small percentage.
	Of these cases.
	You gotta give people due process.
	And most of the, it's only about 15% that are even accused of that.
	The parents can't even find out what they're accused of in most cases.
	Once they look at that, they find that most of them that are accused of something that would have the kids immediately taken out, are not guilty of that.
	The Democrats and the Republicans don't care about that.
	They're fighting over the foreign citizens because they matter.
	You don't.
	You're just Americans.
	It's not America first, it's America last.

	Let's talk just a little bit about health care before we get into universal health care.
	Everybody in the universe, let's just understand that's what they mean by this.
	Let's talk a little bit about that before we get into Marianne Poppins, the star of the show last night.
	Because we've all seen the Bernie Act, we've all seen Elizabeth Warren's Act before, and so Marianne Poppins was one that everybody is talking about.
	But at one moment, you had Bernie Sanders being challenged by Delaney.
	He said, okay, so you're just going to abolish all private health care for everybody.
	What are you going to say to these workers here in Detroit, who have worked very hard to negotiate a good health plan with the company that they work for?
	The auto companies, you know, the few that are still employed in that area that's been run by the Democrats and run into the ground in that industry that is also starting to disappear.
	Anyway, Bernie says, well, we'll tell them that they'll get a raise because the corporations won't have to pay for health care anymore.
	Oh, that's right.
	That's great.
	Nobody pays for anything, right?
	You just shove it off to somebody else.
	And it's not really anything that we have to worry about, except the reality is Is that if you look at places like Europe, Austria, you've got a marginal tax rate for income above 35,000 euros of 40%.
	And that's on top of a massive value-added tax.
	Understand how value-added tax works.
	At every stage where it changes hands, you know, at every manufacturing stage, there's a tax added.
	And then when it Hands off to somebody for shipping, or goes into storage, or to the wholesaler.
	At each one of these stages, there's another tax added.
	A sales tax.
	So it starts to compound, and you don't see that.
	It's not just a single tax at the very end.
	But of course, that's there too.
	The value-added tax.
	Every single step of the way gets taxed.
	So it's a great way to disguise the total amount of money.
	This being spent.
	As a matter of fact, I thought it was curious for a very long time until I started to realize what the government was really after with the IRS.
	You know, they're not really about... They don't need the IRS to fund the government.
	They've got the deficit for that, right?
	Instead, you know, they want to know everything about you because it was just an intelligence-gathering operation.
	They went from that to know your customer rules and regulations of the banks and now they're going to be going to something like cryptocurrency that'll be operated by Facebook or somebody like that.
	Maybe the banks will do that.
	But it'd be likely that they'll use something like Libra, where Facebook already knows pretty much everything about you.
	And that's already what they're talking about, as a matter of fact.
	I said that from the very beginning.
	I said, that's going to be the race in the hole.
	You've got the established bankers there who are saying, no, no, no, no, no.
	We don't want these guys coming into our industry.
	And they're carving out an area there to try to keep Facebook out.
	But Facebook's going to get in.
	Because, first of all, they can afford to bribe people every bit as much as Goldman Sachs and these guys can.
	So they can bribe the politicians, but they can also promise the police surveillance state that they can get everything on you better than anybody else can.
	And so, you know, when you go back and look at the income tax, that really wasn't about raising revenue.
	They could have done it much more easily, and they could have gotten a lot more money, and people wouldn't have been as aware of it if they'd used a VAT like they do in Europe.
	But instead, you know, they tax you at the very end, you're aware of it, but they want to know everything about your life.
	And they want to use that to manipulate you into certain behaviors and so forth.
	So, you know, when you look at the VAT, still 40% on top of that in Austria and Finland, for example, above 37,000 euros, you get a 57% tax rate, including, not including, but in addition to the VAT.
	That's what is going to happen.
	That's what's going to happen.
	And when you look at what's happening in Sweden, for example, as I've reported, in Sweden, where they love to talk about their social net, you know, we're all going to be caught in a social net, aren't we?
	The welfare net, with massive immigration and other issues, you know, even in wealthy Sweden.
	Sweden didn't become wealthy because of socialism.
	Sweden is becoming poor because of socialism.
	And they're getting to the point now where it's getting so difficult for them to even provide services for maternity services when women go into labor.
	They have so few hospitals that they're giving classes on how to deliver babies in the car because you're going to have a long ways to go.
	Why is that happening in a country where the birth rate is collapsing?
	Well, they got a lot of immigrants who are coming in.
	It's a big tax on the health care system.
	But again, it's not sustainable.
	And as you bring other people in from other countries, it accelerates the decline.
	Look at Cuba.
	They're running out of medicine.
	You know, socialism, you run out of other people's money, eventually you run out of medicine as well.
	But that has always been the utopia that has been sold to everybody for health care.
	But again, last night you had Warren and Sanders Marks and Lennon versus the authoritarian statist Democrats, the old school Democrats that were there.
	Warren demanded, quote, big structural change.
	And anybody who doesn't want a complete radical reworking of our society, she termed them spineless.
	I don't know why you'd even run for president if you're gonna be that spineless.
	You gotta go for everything, right?
	And you better understand that, you know, where they ended up, I think it was the last thing they did.
	It was the last thing I saw before I turned it off.
	Was all the climate stuff.
	You've had AOC's chief of staff.
	Both of them, by the way, should be investigated by the FEC for violations running a PAC while they're candidate and chief of staff.
	You can't do that.
	But of course, you know, they get liberal privileges that they can do that sort of thing.
	But even he said, and Mark Moreno has been on my program many times, And he's given us the quotes many, many times at these conferences where you have these people who are radical Marxists.
	They said, if we didn't have the climate emergency, we'd have to invent it!
	And of course, I think they are.
	So does Mark Morano.
	I think that they are inventing it.
	But AOC's Chief of Staff said the same thing.
	They want a radical restructuring of society.
	That's what you saw last night from the angry radicals Elizabeth Warren and Bernie Sanders.
	John Delaney called what they're talking about fairytale economics.
	That's right.
	Complete with unicorn farts.
	And he said you're going to bankrupt the economy.
	He said that Sanders and Warren and their policies like Medicare for all, free everything, and possible promises that will turn off independent voters and get Trump re-elected.
	That's exactly what Rahm Emanuel was saying.
	Talked about that.
	He did an op-ed piece on that over the weekend.
	Warren and Sanders, again, they're tied for second place.
	They weren't really debating each other that much last night.
	They seem to be, you know, in as much agreement as Marx and Lenin.
	Although, as you go down the road, they'll turn into Lenin and Trotsky.
	Watch out for the knives there as they go a little bit further down.
	But of course, it's a universal health care, tuition-free public college, and then tax hikes and everything.
	And as I said, why are we concerned about raising taxes?
	Why are the Democrats so hell-bent on raising taxes?
	Each one of them has got a tax increase program.
	And I have to say, you know, when you look at what the Democrat leadership did with the Republican leadership and with President Trump this last week, they just kicked the deficit can down the road another two trillion dollars over two years that they're talking about.
	They don't care.
	They don't care about the annual deficit.
	They don't care about the cumulative debt.
	So why do they have to raise taxes?
	Well, it's because these Democrats are worried that somebody somewhere might have something that they don't have.
	It's envy.
	And it's a justification for theft.
	And it is also a way for them to make you dependent on them.
	They don't want you to have that money.
	Remember when President Trump did the tax cut?
	Bernie said, they're looting the Treasury!
	He's looting the Treasury!
	That's my money!
	Give it back!
	He doesn't want you to have that money.
	Nancy Pelosi calls the tax cuts crumbs.
	But she will fight you for those crumbs on your kitchen table.
	And so will these Democrats.
	Again, they want to give universal health care to everyone in the universe.
	And they can't raise taxes enough to pay for that.
	So why do they even bother?
	I mean, just put it on the tab, right?
	We've got a credit card government.
	We got the magic monetary theory.
	They call it a modern monetary theory.
	It's just nonsense.
	But they want to raise your taxes because they don't want you to have any, any choices.
	Any choices.

	But he had a couple of interesting things to say, back to the Marxists, Sanders and Warren.
	He said, we've got 100,000 people showing up at the border right now.
	That's what Bullock said.
	And if we decriminalize entry, if we give health care to everyone, we will have multiples of that.
	Oh yeah, that's right.
	You subsidize something, you get more of it.
	And already in California, they're giving totally free health care to foreign citizens who are criminally trespassing.
	Not to the Americans.
	The Americans come last, if at all.
	And he said, as he turned to Elizabeth Warren, he accused her of playing into Donald Trump's hands.
	He said, for wanting to make illegal immigration a civil penalty and seeking to provide federal benefits to undocumented migrants.
	And she came back and said, seeking refuge, seeking asylum is not a crime.
	Well, no, she's already said that it is a crime.
	Because they said they want to decriminalize crossing.
	Well, if you've got to decriminalize it, that means that it is a crime.
	This is how disconnected these people are from the fact.
	So it's not really even worth trying to fact-check Elizabeth Warren and Bernie Sanders.
	Tim Ryan, I think, had the best soundbite of all.
	He said, if you want to come into the country, you should at least ring the doorbell.
	Should at least ring the doorbell.
	Now, he forgot his basic manners at the beginning.
	And many people, including myself, thought it was very odd to see everybody standing there as they were singing the National Anthem.
	They all stood there with their hand on their heart, except for Ryan, and he kind of had his hands down at his groin.
	Looks like he's grabbing his groin.
	Basic manners there.
	Maybe he forgot to ring the doorbell at the very beginning of that debate.
	But the person that they were looking at a lot, basically, was not only Mary Ann Poppins.
	We'll talk about her in just a moment.
	But it was also Governor Bullock.
	And I thought that was interesting.
	Because in Montana, he was the most searched candidate.
	And he's governor of Montana!
	Like, who is this guy?
	Did we vote for him?
	We put him in there?
	I don't know who this guy is.
	But the most searched person was Marianne Poppins.
	I'm sorry, Marianne Williamson.
	Yeah, that's what she goes by, right?
	Now, she has a spoonful of sugar.
	For everybody to make all of this hate go down, that the Democrats are selling everybody.
	She tries to be so sweet and nice, but she is seething with dark, psychic energy about President Trump.
	As a matter of fact, Donald Trump Jr., though, thought we should keep her in.
	A lot of Republicans think we should do everything that we can to keep her in the debates and let her go as far as possible.
	He said, people kind of think that I'm trolling, but compared to what else was up on the stage, I think that Marianne Williamson is actually winning this thing.
	Amazing.
	No question.
	She is drawing the biggest applause of the night.
	And of course, this goes back to the first Democrat debate, as I mentioned earlier in the program, after she made her debut appearance as a debutante from Oprah's show.
	Republicans like GOP strategist Jeff Rowe, who ran the Ted Cruz campaign, went on to social media, urged everybody to donate to her campaign just to keep her on the debate stage.
	He said, please, I'm calling on all Republicans to go to Marianne2020.com, donate $1 to keep this vibrant Democrat on the debate stage.
	One debate performance is just not enough.
	And now we've had two, and it got even better.
	One person came back and showed that they'd contributed and said, this woman is ridiculous.
	I want her to stay.
	And yes, stay she did.
	And she gave us some great sound bites last night.
	So you remember in the first one, she said, Mr. President, if you're listening, I want you to hear me.
	You have harnessed fear for political purposes and only love can cast that out.
	Well, she didn't have too much love for the president last night.
	And her key soundbite came as they asked her about Flint, Michigan.
	Let's play that video clip.
	Oh, they like that.
	There's a lot of talk about it being the next Flint.
	We have an administration that has gutted the Clean Water Act.
	We have communities, particularly communities of color and disadvantaged communities all over this country, who are suffering from environmental injustice.
	I assure you, I lived in Grosse Pointe.
	What happened in Flint would not have happened in Grosse Pointe.
	This is part of the dark underbelly of American society.
	The racial bigotry- No, they like that.
	Eat that up.
	... and the entire conversation that we're having here tonight, if you think any of this wonkiness is going to deal with this dark psychic force of the collectivized hatred that this president is bringing up in this country, then I'm afraid that the Democrats are going to see some very dark days.
	We need to say it like it is.
	It's bigger than Flint.
	It's all over this country.
	It's particularly people of color.
	It's particularly people who do not have the money to fight back.
	And if the Democrats don't start saying it, then why would those people feel that they're there for us?
	And if those people don't feel it, they won't vote for us.

	She's talking about Flint, Michigan.
	It's the Trump administration's fault, right?
	That happened, and I know this is too much of a wonky detail for the Oprah spiritualist to comprehend, but Flint began happening in 2014.
	It was a failure of government at every level.
	The federal government and the EPA failed.
	The state government failed, the local government failed, and guess what, Marianne?
	It was Democrats at every level that failed.
	Democrats in charge of the federal government, the state government, and the local government, they all failed.
	Democrats failed.
	But she turns it into a statement about race.
	And oh, that was red meat to the audience there.
	Quite frankly, I look at this, and I'm just wondering if these people We're the people who grew up on lead in the water.
	Maybe that's what her constituency is there.
	But look, when you look at the failure of government at every level, they're not going to protect you.
	And this is the fatal flaw of what the Democrats are selling.

	You gotta know what you're doing here.

	The way they describe this film, they say the characters are defiled frequently, often in disturbing ways involving saws and feces.

	And you had, in the wake of this debate last night, the fact that Marianne Williamson was the one who was most Googled.
	That doesn't necessarily mean, by the way, that people agree with her.
	You might see her on there and say, who is this?
	How did she get on there?
	That may be one of the reasons why she is trending.
	Yes, on the Drudge Report, they said that they thought that she won, but it was not too stiff a competition there.
	She was talking about how we combat the dark psychic forces.
	And right after the debate, Breitbart got her over to one side and they said, well, how are you going to beat Trump's dark psychic force?
	And she goes on with some psychobabble and then talking about, we're going to utilize the power of love.
	And they said, well, what's the best way to do that?
	They asked her.
	And she said, forgive someone.
	But then she forgot to add, just don't forgive President Trump.
	You can't forgive him.
	It's unforgivable to her.

	She says, what are these dark psychological forces that I'm talking about?

	Does Barack Obama Get reparations?
	Because, you know, Barack Obama was half white.
	His white half had slaves.
	His black half, if you believe his lineage that he's told everybody, is from Kenya and was never enslaved by anybody in America.
	How does that work?
	As you saw from the black writer who was really attacked, the black writer from Quillette.
	He goes, look, if you want to try to give some reparations to some of the people who are still alive who suffered under Jim Crow laws, I would support that.
	But he said, you're talking about people that were here 150 years ago?
	He said, look, yeah, they're gone though.
	They're gone.
	And the poor guy who is living in Appalachia, the poor white guy, he didn't do that to them.
	And so you're going to say, he says, I have had, as a writer, the black writer for Quillett, he says, I've had a great life.
	I've had a lot of privilege.
	I went to a great school.
	I've got a great job.
	I'm making a lot of money.
	You're going to have this poor white guy in Appalachia pay me money?
	Because of skin color?
	You have to have, if somebody is owed something, and if it's actually reparations, there has to be some kind of a connection that can be proven.
	And that's where this whole thing breaks down.
	But they don't want to solve this any more than they wanted to try to solve the police brutality issues.
	They just want to drive a wedge between the different races.
	Because that's what the Marxists are doing here in America.
	They don't, it hasn't worked for them.
	Like it did in Europe, to have different competing economic classes.
	So they want different competing racial classes.
	That has been the strategy.
	Going back to the late 60s, that's the whole point of the what they call white privilege.

	It started out with Bill Ayers and these people, the Weather Underground, popularizing that.
	And then Bill Ayers stops blowing up buildings as a Marxist and then he goes into education.

	And so on CNN, you had David Axelrod, who worked for Obama, say, do you really think she could be the nominee of the Democrat Party?
	And one person who had been saying kind things about her said, oh no, no, no, no, no.
	And the entire panel broke into laughter.
	And Axelrod said, well, I just wanted to clear that up.

	I think that she's got a big future in the Democrat debates.

	You know, I want to start out by talking about what's going on in California.
	You've got an article at epautos.com, the California tax.
	You know, we just had The governor of California say they're going to keep President Trump off of the ballot if he doesn't give them his tax returns.
	And this kind of arrogance, okay, and again that could be a really big factor in the election because you've got all these states that are signing on to this national popular vote.
	That whoever gets the most in terms of popular vote, then all these states that have signed into that compact, they'll say, well, we'll give all of our electoral colleges to that candidate.
	Well, if you take away California, even though President Trump is not going to win California, that would be a big hole in his popular vote total.
	But they're doing that with our cars.
	They're taxing each and every one of us in California, aren't they?
	They are.
	Well, actually, they've been doing it since the 70s.
	They set up essentially a mirror of the federal EPA, something called the California Air Resources Board, and it issues FOTWAs, as I like to call them, or regulations.
	That's a great term, too.
	That all the car manufacturers that want to sell their cars in California have to comply with in order to sell their cars in California.
	Now, that brings up a problem for the car company.
	It means that they had to build one set of cars for the California market, uh... and then another set of uh... cars for the federal or forty nine state market as it used to be and uh... the economics of that are are awkward and the marketing is awkward because for example they can have a national ad campaign touting uh... a given engine or transmission combination in a vehicle that might not be available in california They'll have to put a little asterisk up there and say, only available in blah, blah, blah, blah.
	Yeah, I even see that in the aftermarket, Eric.
	You know, I look at things that I do to my car to make it better.
	And they'll have things like, oh, it's going to be CARB compliant or it's not CARB compliant.
	It's like, I don't care.
	But it does make a matter.
	It does make a difference.
	It makes a big difference to our pocketbooks.
	It makes a big difference into what is available for us, even in the aftermarket.
	Well, what ends up happening is that the manufacturers decide to just go ahead and build it to one standard.
	And the California standard is usually stricter than the federal standard, more complicated and more expensive to comply with.
	But nonetheless, they just go ahead and decide to build it to that standard to save themselves the trouble of having to deal with two separate standards.
	So, in a very real sense, even though you're not necessarily living in California, you wind up being taxed by the government of California.
	Yeah, yeah, that's amazing.
	Because, as you point out, Obama had raised the average, the corporate average fuel economy standards.
	That's also called CAFE.
	So we've got CAFEs and we've got carbs.
	So you've got to watch the carbs when you go to the CAFEs.
	But anyway, the CAFE standard, they were going to raise it to a ridiculous level.
	President Trump stopped that at the federal level.
	But how do we stop this in California?
	Well, actually, he didn't stop the 50-mile-per-gallon FOTWA.
	That's the federal one.
	That's still in the works.
	He's trying to rescind it.
	What he did do, I think we talked about this the last time I was on your show, he rescinded the planned gas guzzler tax tripling that would have accompanied it.
	So, in effect, what he did was he took the enforcement teeth out of the federal 50-mile-per-gallon FOTWA, and that, of course, drove the Californians out of their minds.
	And that's why California went ahead and said, well, nanny nanny boo boo, we're just going to go ahead and impose this fatwa on our own.
	So there.
	And that's what they've done.
	And then make a move to take President Trump off the ballot.
	That's true.
	Yeah.
	For removing the penalty there.
	A lot of this stuff, it seems abstruse, academic.
	A lot of people don't really think about it.
	They just hear, well, what a great thing.
	You know, the cars are going to get higher gas mileage.
	It's never really explained to them that there is no such thing as a free lunch in physics or elsewhere.
	And these things involve costs, and if you wind up having to spend, say, 10% more for your next vehicle, which can amount to thousands of dollars, does it really matter whether it gets better gas mileage if in the net you wind up paying more to own the car?
	Yeah, or if you can't possibly own it.
	Or if they have to go, they have to outlaw completely internal combustion engines and diesel engines and only offer you electric cars, which is really what they want to do.
	Well, I just posted an article that actually ties into this.
	We're having a really bad year in the car industry.
	This is the seventh month of the whole year so far of declining sales.
	People aren't buying as many cars.
	It hasn't been this bad since 2009.
	Um, and I think that has to do with the fact that these mandates, which have been piling up now and getting progressively much more expensive, especially over the last five years or so, are making cars so expensive that average people are just saying, you know what?
	I can't do this.
	I'm just going to keep what I've got, fix what I've got, keep on driving, and not buy a new car.
	And they saw this coming.
	They know that this is coming.
	They know that they have to do something because people cannot afford to buy these cars.
	And a lot of the automobile companies have been kind of tacitly complicit with this because they know that a lot of these mandates that were put on emissions and they made it very difficult for other people to go into competition with them.
	This is always the way it is.
	What's that?
	Regulatory capture.
	Yes, exactly.
	And so, you know, if you've got an established business, if you've got a restaurant, you want to put a lot of rules and regulations on people who are about to open a restaurant so that you don't have a lot of competition coming in.
	And so they're guilty of that type of thing as well.
	But they have been moving away from the whole model of selling cars and moving to present themselves as mobility providers as part of that.
	They want to make sure that they are positioned with the government in a favored position so that they will be one of two or three companies that provide self-driving cars to you on a rent-by-the-ride basis because that's all you're going to be able to afford.
	You're not going to be able to afford that very much.
	That's right.
	There are a lot of synergies at work.
	For many decades, all the way from the 60s to recently, there was a lot of cushion in that the government could pass a mandate and people were still able to afford it.
	Car prices increased, but people could still afford it.
	Well, cars got to the point where they couldn't afford it on a 3-year loan or a 4-year loan, so then they pushed the loan up to 5, 6, 7 years, which is where it is now.
	And they can't push the loans out any farther.
	They can't reduce the price of buying the car, so what are they going to do?
	The solution is just what you've described, is to end the concept of personal vehicle ownership and turn people into riders who get mobility, which means you have no control anymore over your mobility.
	Yeah, one of the things that you point out in your article here about people aren't buying and here's why.
	You talk about the adjusted, if we put it in 2019 dollars, in 1970 you could get a Ford LTD for $22,700.
	You don't get anything like a Ford LTD in today's market for that kind of price.
	No, that was a big, full-sized American car, six-passenger car, with a V8 engine and rear-wheel drive, the kind of thing that today you can buy for $60,000, $70,000, $80,000, $90,000 at Mercedes or BMW.
	Yeah, and when I looked at that debate last night, I don't know if you saw any of that, but I saw the angry...
	You had better things to do with your time.
	I know, they pay me to do this.
	But they couldn't pay you to do that.
	But you look at that, and you look at the angry schoolmarm, Elizabeth Warren, who knows better than you what you should have.
	And she's going to dictate everything to you, and that's how we get to this point.
	As you point out in your article, take a look at the cost of health insurance, you know, and how expensive that is.
	And they say, look at this, the middle class can't afford to buy anything.
	It's because of their mandates.
	Because of the things that they force on us in terms of tax increases.
	And again, all these people who don't care about deficits, but they want to raise your taxes.

	Talking about how car sales are down, and here's why.
	And one of the key factors that you had there, Eric, besides all the different things that are mandated by the federal government that makes them more expensive, is also the insurance costs.
	Talk a little bit about that.
	Well, insurance costs have increased since 1985 by something like 380 percent, if you can believe that.
	Wow.
	Uh, and so the average person is spending something like $1,500 a year for insurance, and if you calculate that over a six-year car loan, it's about $9,000.
	Or, excuse me, over a longer-term car loan.
	I forgot what the number was that I quoted in my article, but at any rate, it's a lot of money, and it's a function of the high repair costs of modern cars.
	Uh, in part because of all the mandates.
	For example, the airbag mandate.
	That's a really good one.
	If you get into an accident, the airbags go off and it can potentially be a few thousand dollars worth of damage to fix that.
	Uh, the exterior panels of cars today are made of very, very thin gauge metal in order to try to lighten up the body, which has been made heavy, uh, in order to comply with all the other government thought was having to do with, uh, impact resistance and the crash test.
	Um, so the result of this is that there's this hidden cost when you buy a car of exorbitant insurance And it's gotten to the point now where on, say, a $35,000 car, I use that as an example because that's what the average price paid for a new car was last year, the cost to insure it over the life of the car loan is about $9,000.
	And that's equivalent to about a fourth of the price of the car, so the effective cost of that car is well over $40,000 now.
	Yeah, and that's one of the things, you know, they just had the unveil of the new Corvette.
	That's one of the things that kept me over the years from getting a Corvette, because I could have afforded a used one, but I thought, well, you know, I don't think I can afford the insurance on it.
	When we look at what happens to the insurance rates for young males, for example, as you've got broken down in this article here, that is a huge difference, and of course, you know, a car like a Corvette That's going to be a magnet for cops to give you a ticket in addition to that.
	But the imbalance there in terms of young drivers, I understand that they are a greater risk, certainly, you know, as they're learning to drive.
	Nevertheless, this insurance imbalance here is what is causing a lot of young people not be able to drive at all, especially when you look at what happens in Europe.
	In Europe, they're having to You know, they're incentivizing them to only drive a certain number of miles per month.
	And if they do that, then they can just barely afford a very, very, very expensive car insurance.
	Well, it's two-pronged.
	On the one hand, they're using this as a disincentive for the younger crowd, so that they never form the emotional bond with cars that the older generations have had.
	That's right.
	And meanwhile, even the older guys, you or I, we buy Corvette, we're going to pay through the nose for it, too.
	Oh, yeah?
	You know, we're mature guys, and we've got decades of accident-free driving.
	It doesn't matter.
	You're still going to pay through the nose, because you get into an accident, even if it's not your fault.
	Uh, the cost to repair that car is prohibitive, and that's why they're, you know, they're jacking up the rates accordingly.
	Yeah, you talk about, uh, you know, the airbags, and of course, you know, just a couple of airbags in a car that's a few years old, it's going to total that car.
	Uh, also the... These plastic, uh, they call them fascias, plastic front and rear clips.
	They're made of extremely fragile material.
	You get into a little fender bender in a parking lot, that thing gets torn literally off the car, or it gets ripped or torn or some other thing along those lines.
	They can cost thousands of dollars to replace, whereas in the past you had a nice external metal bumper that could take a tap.
	You might have to polish out a scratch, but it wasn't usually physically damaged, and even if it was physically damaged you could usually repair it.
	That's not the case with these plastic bumper covers.
	I had my front bumper wiped out by a raccoon driving to work.
	Sure.
	One raccoon took out the whole front bumper.
	I remember back in, you go back to the 1970s, the big thing with the insurance industry then was to have the five mile an hour bumpers, right?
	And except that, I thought it was really funny.
	They put them all at different heights.
	And you wound up with these really strange-looking add-ons that all the different automakers put on there to try to comply with that mandate from the federal government.
	And it was absolutely absurd, because I was driving a car at the time.
	It was a very small, low car.
	And then other people had bumpers that were really, really high.
	I said, well, if they're going to mandate a five-mile-an-hour bumper, wouldn't you think they'd mandate the height?
	But no, they don't think about that.
	And also, here's another unintended consequence.
	Those bumpers that were tacked onto cars that hadn't been designed for them were ugly.
	Yeah, oh yeah, that was very, very ugly.
	That's the whole thing.
	You go back, you can tell right when that hit and how they didn't give them much of a lead-in time.
	They got very, very ugly.
	Well, to address that, they decided, well, what we'll do is we'll put the structural number, the bumper, underneath the fascia.
	So now they have it all covered up, so it looks pretty, but the car is enormously fragile and vulnerable to damage now.
	You know, along those lines, as I looked at the Corvette being unveiled, they had some interesting things.
	And one of the things I thought was kind of interesting was to keep, because it's pretty low to the ground, to keep you from taking out your plastic front bumper with a speed bump because it's that low, they have an electric riser that will lift it up like they do in a lot of supercars.
	But you can, once you do that, you can mark that as a GPS location, and so it'll automatically lift your bumper there.
	And I thought, oh, that's kind of slick.
	Except that, of course, that's being stored somewhere.
	And just like everything else that you do when you're driving that car.
	And that's going to be accessed by the government, it's going to be accessed by the insurance companies, and that's going to be used to raise your rates, isn't it?
	Yeah, it's part of this Internet of Everything, meaning that everything that you do is being watched and recorded by somebody somewhere, and being used to create some sort of a profile for either benign or not-so-benign purposes.
	Benign purposes that juggernaut you with sales pitches, products, and ads, and not-so-benign to track you and figure out what you're doing so that they can do whatever they plan to do to you.
	Yeah, yeah.
	Let's get from the politics here for just a second and just go pure car.
	I think you and I and everybody was pretty much surprised at the price point they brought this Corvette in.
	And when you look at how price, how car sales are declining, and what's your take from the business aspect of that?
	Certainly it's going to be very damaging to a lot of the competitors, even like, you know, some of the Porsches that are there.
	I mean, it considerably undercuts them on price.
	You got the new Lotus that's going to be coming here, that's like a hundred grand car, and the Corvette has perhaps got as good or, I would think, better stats on that at $60,000.
	I know that's pretty high, and as we just said, you and I couldn't, even if we could swing that price, probably couldn't afford the insurance.
	Well, how do you read this in terms of what it's going to do to the automobile industry?
	What it's going to do with GM?
	Well, that's what they're hoping.
	They're hoping that they can undercut the six-figure exotics with the entry-level Corvette.
	It's about $60,000.
	Of course, it goes up from there.
	But I think that they've misread one critical factor, and that is that it's still a Chevrolet.
	And I do not mean to disparage Chevrolet.
	Chevrolet is a great brand, but it's not an exotic brand.
	And people who spend $60,000, $70,000, $80,000 for a car are generally people who want a higher-end experience.
	Um, they don't want to have to sit in a waiting room with people who bought Geo Metros to get their oil changed.
	That's a good point.
	So I think that's going to be a problem for them.
	And I think more broadly, the real problem with this car, in my opinion, is that it's a by the numbers car.
	It checks all the boxes.
	It's got formidable performance, handles really well on a racetrack and all of those things.
	But what about the intangibles?
	When I look at that car, if I didn't know that it was a Corvette, I think if you put it in a room and took off all the badges and just brought in people at random and said, what is this?
	Probably two-thirds of the people would say, oh, it's got to be the latest Ferrari.
	It's got to be some Italian supercar.
	To me, it does not look like a Corvette anymore, and I think that that's a huge mistake for Chevrolet.
	Yeah, because this guy, it doesn't have the long front engine because of the big engine, you know, that they typically put up front, and so it's, you know, having that mid-engine, it does not look as much like a Corvette.
	Oh, there's some styling cues there.
	I think from the back, it looks a lot like a Camaro, quite frankly.
	Yeah, well, that's just it.
	You have to puzzle over it.
	Whereas with previous Corvettes, it was kind of analogous to the Volkswagen Beetle.
	You didn't have to be a car guy.
	Everybody knew what a Beetle was.
	And that was part of its charm.
	You know, it was sort of this instantly recognizable, iconic car.
	If you look at a 1967 Corvette, everybody knows it's a Corvette.
	You don't have to be a car guy to know that.
	That's right, yeah.
	Well, I was happy that they actually went through and did it.
	I was surprised that today's GM would actually do a new generation of Corvette, and from the stuff that I looked at, one of the biggest design challenges was to get through the bureaucracy there at General Motors.

	And of course, one of the key things...
	to affording a car is insurance.
	Saying that for an average car, an average driver, about $9,000, a major chunk over, I forgot what he said, the number of years that he said, but it's over the life of the loan essentially.
	So take a typical loan, typical car, typical driver, that's about $9,000.
	That's about a third to a quarter of the price of the car, of an average car.
	Now, here's one way to save money off of this.
	A guy in Alberta, Canada.
	He's in his early 20s.
	He got into a car accident.
	And he had a couple of tickets.
	He's going to get soaked.
	As a matter of fact, his insurance went up.
	He had a new Chevy.
	Not a Corvette, I imagine.
	A new Chevy.
	And his insurance is going to go up to $4,500 a year.
	He asked, what would it cost if I was a woman?
	You know where this is going, right?
	$3,400 a year.
	A difference of $1,100 per year.
	$91 every month he was saving on his car insurance.
	They said, well, what do I do?
	I think I'm a woman now.
	So he wanted them to change his gender on the form.
	They said they can't do that.
	He needed a note from a doctor.
	So he went to a doctor and he got a note that he wants to be a woman.
	It's just that simple.
	So there you go.

	106 million people had all of their financial information stolen by this individual.

	There's all these different articles on the Drudge Report about, hey look, you know these self-driving cars that we're doing?
	They could actually be hacked and it's like...
	No!
	Seriously?
	Seriously?
	No kidding, Sherlock.
	We've been talking about this for a very long time.
	Eric has been talking about it.
	I've been talking about it.
	For years we've been talking about this.
	They just realize this every year.
	There is a demonstration of how you can easily hack into a car, and these are not even self-driving cars.
	You can create a lot of havoc.
	Uh, with the hacking into these cars, and the article on the Drudge Report is somebody saying, hmm, you know, if we had some malicious actors, uh, they could create gridlock by hacking into these self-driving cars and shutting them down.
	You could do that just by hacking into some of these cars and creating accidents everywhere by activating these, uh, safety brake systems, or they've got anything like that that you could do.
	But the potential for that is much higher.
	But we're putting all of our infrastructure in one basket, just as Capital One did.
	When are we going to learn?
	When are we going to learn that, as George Gilder pointed out, we have to restructure the entire Internet, not so that a few giant companies can create a massive database of big data, saying to everybody, look, everything is free.
	Just come on in.
	Just come on and give us all your information.
	You are the product.
	Just give us all your information and then we'll give you some passwords and things like that that we'll add on the side to try to give you some security.
	That doesn't work.
	But the most amazing thing to me about all of this is that this hacker put all of this stuff up.
	Somebody who worked for Amazon.
	He put it on Amazon's cloud storage under his name.
	And put all the data there.
	And so it was there for four months.
	Finally somebody contacts Capital One and says, hey, you may want to take a look at this.
	You've had 106 million accounts hacked and this guy's got it up here bragging about it for four months.
	They get it and they give it to the FBI and it takes the FBI 10 days to locate this guy even though he's got his entire resume there.
	How amazingly incompetent that is, to think that you are going to have these wizards at the NSA.
	Just remember that the NSA was hacked, the CIA was hacked, that's what Vault 7 was about.
	All these tools that they have to make themselves look like they're Russians.
	Or to make it look like they're Chinese, or North Koreans, or Venezuelans, or Iranians, anybody, you know, the usual suspects.
	They can make it look like they're anybody.
	And they're so clever, they've got these tools, and those were hacked.
	So the hackers got hacked.
	Everybody is getting hacked on this.
	At some point, and it was good to see that President Trump
	Retweeted some people who are saying we've got to go back to paper ballots like you we really do We really do and it's getting much worse because the hackers are not just Individuals who are on some kind of an ego trip or even trying to blackmail people you got DARPA working with Microsoft as I said many times a 10 million dollar contract to a small company that is now, you know underneath Microsoft and they're coming up with election guard.
	They've got an operating system That Microsoft has created To run all of the electronic voting machines.
	Now, who was it, just let me think, who was it that had the most problems, the most problems with cybersecurity?
	It was the Microsoft platform over the years.
	Who was famous for the blue screen of death?
	I can just imagine as Microsoft's election guard system is tabulating all the votes that all of a sudden you get a blue screen of death and then when it comes back, guess what?
	All the votes have changed drastically in that amount of time.
	This is a very dangerous situation.
	That was reported when President Trump pointed that out.
	The articles that came out said, look at this, he retweeted somebody who in the past has retweeted stuff from QAnon.
	Oh, what's that about?
	Look, focus on what is going on with Election Guard, with News Guard, telling people who you should listen to, who you shouldn't, and then they're going to count the votes for you?
	And this is all coming from DARPA?
	Can't you see where this is coming from?
	Talked about this a year ago, when Infowars got attacked by these people.
	And then two months after that, they came after people across the political spectrum.
	The only common denominator was that they came after people who were against the military-industrial complex, against the police state, that type of thing.
	They could be all over the place, conservative, liberal, libertarian, you name it.

	This is not being done by big companies who just won the lottery, which is the approach that Reason Magazine and Cato Institute and these people funded by the Koch brothers want to take.

	One of the big items that I talked about last night, of course, was climate change, because you have to have a global problem so that you can have a global government solution And of course, that also involves global taxes for that global government.
	Oh, they've got it all figured out.
	And they've actually even got a time frame for it.
	2030 is the time frame in which they want to have this in.
	Because, you know, these people are planners.
	If you don't have a time, put on your plan.
	Remember, it's just a wish.
	They don't have a wish to rule the world.
	They have a time frame.
	They actually have a plan with a set time, 2030.
	And as part of that, as I've said many times, that lines up very succinctly.
	With the kinds of cycles that we have seen in societal turnings and revolutions.
	There's a generational cycle to all that that's been identified by Strauss and Howe in their book, The Fourth Turning.
	These are the people who gave us, by the way, the term millennial.
	They have a cyclical version of view of history, a generational view of history.
	As they have said many times, you have one generation that's born right after a major war, for example.
	They're going to view life very differently than the generation that fought that war.
	And so you go through these cycles, and they identified four cycles going back about 500 years in American and British history.
	Pointing out that now, because we have kind of globalized things with culture and communication, that now the entire world is synchronized to that American and English history cycle.
	They've identified, as they point out, these fourth turnings where things turn bad.
	Typically, other fourth turnings that we've had have been the American Revolution, the next fourth turning about 80 years later, the American Civil War, About 80 years later, we had the Great Depression and World War II.
	And now they believe that we are going to have, that we are already have started a fourth turning because it doesn't just happen in one year or a few years.
	Typically it happens over about 10-15 years.
	They believe, at least the survivor does, that we entered the fourth turning.
	They talked about this in the early 90s.
	They said, probably about 2008.
	And the guy who's now survived said, yeah, I think that was the global meltdown that we had in 2008.
	And he says, I think you'll probably be finished about 2029.
	And of course, if you just happen to notice, these people have been talking about the UN 2030 agenda for sustainability.
	That requires That they shut down and radically transform our society and that is precisely where the Democrats were last night talking about this.
	Now they were talking about this emergency and of course as CNN...
	Ask the question.
	If you were watching this, you saw the anchor.
	Well, you know, this is just science.
	So we've got this pending meltdown of the world, this crisis, this emergency that is rapidly coming upon us, and we're running out of time.
	We've got to do something right away, because we're going to have to come up with our rules and regulations, and then we're going to have to have time to implement them.
	So, you know, from that premise, what are you going to do about it?
	So it's a set fact, according to CNN.
	The same people who sold you the Russiagate conspiracy are still trying to sell that.
	No, it is not an established fact.
	Science is not determined by a popular vote, even amongst scientists.
	There are many people who push back against this.
	There are many problems with their models.
	They have failed to live up to their predictions.
	They've had to try to hide the decline and so forth.
	And then there's a big problem, as Matt Drudge pointed out.
	Look at Minnesota weather, for example.
	You know, they like to focus on temperatures.
	And of course, you're going to have highs and lows in various places.
	They'll look at places and say, look, this town over here is hotter than usual.
	That town over there is cooler than usual.
	And that's the way weather works.
	When you get a cool area, there's usually an adjacent hot area.
	And so everybody uses that as a proof text.
	The big proof of all this, of course, ...is the fact that CO2 levels, as they've measured them, have gone up, but the global temperatures haven't.
	Meanwhile, in Minnesota, they got a record cool, breaking a 121-year-old record.
	And right there where they had the debates?
	Four degrees below average.

	And the excuse that they're using for this, of course, is social justice.

	Al Gore said the polar ice cap was going to be gone ten years ago.

	And AOC actually told people where this is all headed.
	You're not supposed to know that yet.

	You got Davos, you got Bilderberg, you got Google Camp.
	And they decide how they are going to control you.
	There'll be discussions about online privacy and how they will have it and you won't.
	About politics and how they will determine what you see and hear and what you're not allowed to see and hear.
	About human rights and of course that will not include free speech.
	That is now gone.
	Free speech and free press.
	Nobody's even really talking about that.
	Occasionally, well, we get a tweet from President Trump where he has a photo op on the lawn.
	Nothing of any substance.
	We can just forget about the human right.

	No, it's not irony, that is called hypocrisy.

	And I thought that was perfect.
	Because this whole thing about the floating plastic island, and again you can see this from Yahoo, plastic junk, spawns a desert island disaster in the Pacific.
	A floating plastic garbage island has swamped a remote Pacific island, once regarded as an environmental jewel.
	Okay, well here is the clue about what's going on with this.
	And I pointed this out two years ago.
	And then a year ago, on Earth Day, they made it all about the floating plastic junk.
	But here's the operative word.
	The Pacific.
	The Pacific.
	Why are these floating plastic islands in the Pacific?
	Well, because the floating plastic is coming from China.
	It doesn't really care much about the environment.
	All this stuff about the Paris Climate Accord?
	It wasn't going to affect China, the biggest polluter.
	It wasn't going to affect India.
	These two countries were going to be allowed to add massive numbers of new coal plants that were old, old, dirty designs, without limit, for a couple more decades.
	It wasn't about any kind of global environmental concerns.
	Even the people who believe in man-made global warming said that.
	They said this isn't going to address the problem because you're going to allow these two guys to get dirtier and continue to expand.
	And it's simply about redistributing the economy.
	And that's why this is happening in the Pacific.
	All of this garbage is not coming from you and the stuff that you get at a fast food restaurant.

	Last night we saw Tim Ryan saying to Bernie Sanders, you don't have to yell about the climate change.
	Well, Bernie yells about everything.
	But then he goes on to say, I have a plan to create a chief manufacturing officer so we can actually start building things in the U.S.

	You think that we're not going to get anything built.
	Ryan, not Paul Ryan, but this guy, Tim Ryan.
	He doesn't think we're going to get anything built unless we have a chief manufacturing officer.
	See, it's about central planning of the economy.

	They want you to be totally dependent on the government.
	We can see that in terms of how they want to take over our transportation, every aspect of our life.
	They want you to see everything as a handout from them.
	Again, Tim Ryan yesterday saying, well, we're going to make America great again.
	I'm going to have a chief manufacturing officer so we can make stuff in America.
	No, get the government out of micromanaging the economy.
	That's the whole problem.
	That is what has put us in the situation, is too much management, centrally controlled, central planning out of Washington.
	It is a Soviet-style procedure.
	You know, we actually have the Department of Agriculture telling farmers that they want them to come up with five-year plans.
	I mean, we're going right down the path of the Soviet Union with their five-year, centrally planned economies.
	And now you've got the so-called moderate side?
	Of the Democrat debate last night, Tim Ryan, oh, we've got to have a chief manufacturing officer here in the United States in Washington to make sure we've got manufacturing going on.
	Well, just get out of our way, let people keep what they work for, that's all the incentive that we need here in America.
	But they kill that when they put people on welfare, and that's designed to kill that.
	They want to control you, they want to make you dependent on them, and they want you to fight each other.

	When they put the Indians in the reservations, they limited, they took them away from where they were able to be independent and earn a living, they took that freedom away from them, they took the ownership away from them, they prohibited certain economic activities, they put them in an area that was totally foreign to where they had lived, They took their kids away from them, sent them back east to boarding schools so they could eradicate their connection to their culture, to their religion.
	That is what they are doing to all of us right now.
	First they did it to the Indians, then they did it to the black people in the inner cities, now they're doing it to us all.

	First of all, I've lived in Grosse Pointe for all of my 68 years, and for all of my 68 years, Grosse Pointe has purchased its water from Detroit.
	So she's factually challenged?

	So I drink the same water that all the poor people, all the rich people, everybody else that live within the city limits of Detroit drink.
	It's the same water.

	And I might add that the Detroit Water Department has always been fairly independent of the city government.

	I just wanted to make one comment and talk about something else.
	She, if you really listen to her, the energy behind her and the power that she wants, she's coming from a dark place herself.
	Oh, yes.
	I mean, you could, I mean, if you really felt where she's coming from, because she wants it bad.
	And so there, that says it all.
	But the thing I want to ask you, David, it's a pleasure talking to you, too.
	You know, when Trump signed that budget last January, and I think Ann Coulter and a number of people were upset because there's provision in there that if underage people have a sponsor or if they come in here some way or another, they get to stay here legally.
	You know what I'm talking about.
	Yeah, there were several measures when he signed that, you know, to get the government going again.
	There were several aspects of that budget deal that Nancy Pelosi had put in that were very, very damaging to protecting the border.
	Some of them that I remember were the fact that you could have local jurisdictions shut down the federal government in terms of Border Patrol.
	I mean, he signed away the power that the federal government has in some of those areas.
	So it was a very bad deal that he made.
	Wasn't there one part where, like, if you get sponsored, you can stay here illegally if you're underage?
	Something like that.
	I believe so.
	And again, you know, we have this whole absurdity even going back prior to that.
	And as I've said many times, one of the key things that's going to be important, that is going to be as important to the continuing existence of the United States as the border, is going to be to take away the usurped authority by the judiciary, to say that they are above everything.
	We're in this absurd situation where the previous administration with an executive order said we're not going to enforce the law.
	And then when this administration says we're going to get rid of that DACA, deferred action, you know, not enforcing the law, we're going to not do that.
	We're going to actually enforce the law.
	Now you've got a judge saying, no, you're not going to do that.
	We're going to keep that former executive order in and we're going to keep you from enforcing the law.
	I'm the judge and I'm ruling that you can't enforce the law.
	I mean, that's how ridiculous this all is.
	Yeah, I mean, I agree with what you're saying, but I'd say that because Trump signed that, he's put a bigger carrot out there.

	And then when Trump was silent and Coulter says, hmm, that's interesting, he didn't attack Matt Drudge for saying the same thing that she had said a couple of months earlier.
	Yeah, it is a lot of gaslighting of people who want to see something done.
	And that is really my concern as well.
	Because I remember when you had Bush the first.
	And his big campaign pledge was, read my lips, no new taxes.
	And then he gave us the biggest tax increase we'd ever had at that point in time.

	I don't think we can expect the president to be Andrew Jackson.
	Until we have replaced Ginsburg on the Supreme Court.
	So we have to stay on the good side of the Senate to get that done.
	We can't really go all dictator until that happens.
	That's right.
	Every time he exercises his constitutional powers, he's going to get called a dictator, and then the federal judiciary is going to rule against him, and we're going to have this whole constitutional crisis thing going on where the leftists are calling him a dictator, and we're fighting disinformation about what the president can and can't do all the time, and we always lose the disinformation war because lies travel around the world Well, and I agree.
	And we understand, too, also, you know, that it's not just President Trump who has acquiesced to a judicial tyranny.
	It is every one of the 50 governors, multiple parties, multiple generations of governors, every one of the legislatures.
	I mean, we have this discussion about abortion.
	We have the people in Alabama come up and pass a law by an overwhelming majority that was just like the law that was struck down by the Supreme Court, Roe v. Wade, here in Texas.
	They came up essentially with a clone of that because they wanted to challenge that usurpation of authority.
	But instead, what they're doing is they're appealing to the current Supreme Court, instead of saying, as the only person I've ever seen take on this judicial tyranny, has been Judge Roy Moore.
	And look at what they did to him.
	You know, he said, we have a definition of marriage.
	We have it in our Constitution.
	We have it in our law.
	And we've had a referendum about it.
	And the Supreme Court doesn't have anything to say about that under the Constitution.
	We don't have any other federal or state, local officials that I know of that have that opinion of the Constitution.
	Right, so on another subject, when it comes to paper ballots, what mechanism does the President have to compel the states to switch over to paper ballots?
	He has to, like, invalidate elections and say they're not going to count unless you can recount the votes.
	That's in your own laws, but you don't have a verifiable, transparent way of recounting ballots.
	Yeah, I agree.
	And we pointed that out here in Texas, that as part of this Texas Constitution, they've got to keep a record, even if they go to electronic ballots.
	And they're not doing that.
	The head of elections here for the last several elections has told everybody, yeah, that's in the Constitution, but just ignore it.
	And they do.
	But again, the solution doesn't have to come from President Trump and won't come from President Trump.
	It's got to come from the state areas.
	And that's a difficult thing for us to understand, but that's what the 10th Amendment says.
	And so it actually is the states that need to shut down the paper ballots.
	What President Trump can do, however, is to acknowledge the fact That we are being pushed into a universal, electronically run election by the federal government.
	It is DARPA that has given tens of millions of dollars to Microsoft and to a company that I can't remember the name of, that was essentially the Shell Corporation that was set up.
	But DARPA has given $10 million to that corporation that's underneath Microsoft, part of their election guard.
	It is the federal government that's creating this.
	And if you remember, going back to 2016, it all began with the federal agency saying, hey look, Homeland Security said, we have noticed that there was some infiltration of some of the state boards of elections.
	And it turned out that that was coming from Obama's.
	people as they looked at that. Some of the people at the state boards of elections said yeah we traced this back and it's coming from you. They were trying to create a crisis so they could offer a solution which is centralized control, DARPA, Microsoft with their election guard and so forth. So this kind of stuff is coming from the federal government.
	President Trump could stop that push from the federal government.
	But then we also need people at the state and local level who are going to push back and say, no, you're going to have paper ballots.
	You're going to have witnesses.
	You're going to follow the laws in the state like they don't do here in Texas.
	Yeah, I would hope that maybe his only lever is that he could withhold federal funds from the states until they fix the situation.
	But I don't know what that would require some executive order or something.
	Well, he's going to have a fight just with California trying to take him off the ballot.
	I mean, that's the craziest thing that's coming along.
	But that and the national popular vote, all these different... They've got a lot of different tricks up their sleeve.
	They don't have very good candidates, but they are tricksy, as Gollum would say.
	They're very tricksy.
